    1. I'm looking into accommodations and even though everyone seems to love Jardin I was thinking about picking up something in Bela vista since its closer to where I want to be. Would this be a good choice / area?

    2. Anyone have any experience with AirBnb and girls coming over? Would hotel be a better option?

    3. Since Scandallo and Cesario are downtown (ish) do they still have a good selection on Saturday and Sunday? I've looked at google maps and it seems to be busier on the weekdays than the weekends (even Saturday!) which I thought was odd.

I may hit up some twitter girls as well. Found one that is an absolute stunner. Hope she's available when I'm there. Any helpful / specific / random tips would be much appreciated.

Oh and I prefer spinner type ladies so if they tend to congregate somewhere let me know!
I got very good experienced with flats rented through AirBnb, the owners never bothered to meet me but they were really helpful. Regarding bringing girls, not problems whatsoever, the girls showed up in the main door, said to the doorman, they go to flat number xx and that's it. In my opinion, Airbnb is much more convenient than Hotels, you could even negotiate the check-in and out.

    Great report. Great insight.

I have to check out that massagista site. Some of those women are quite beautiful. How was Bianca Lessa? She looks like she has a pretty face.

Perhaps if you're in the mood, you can pop into Scandallo and just have a meal / drinks. It would be great to hear your perspective.

Yes, I agree with the others. Very nice report! However, I do take issue with this one piece that you wrote in that there is really not much of anything about the clinica experience that is like a German FKK, or Brazilian termas for that matter. For anybody who has been to neither, I would not want them to be misled. In my view, a clinica is much more like the traditional brothel where the girls are paraded out in front of you, you pick one, and then you go fuck. This is in no way like the FKK (or termas) experience, which I much prefer over the clinica. Just to be clear so that guys don't get the wrong idea. Maybe a clinica is closer to an FKK than a partyreff, but both types of set-ups are really not very close to the FKK model at all. Otherwise, outstanding work!

    The good:

    - Tangara 200. I've been there 5 or 6 times. I can't remember the names of the girls but basically all of them did what was expected of them. Caught Harumi one morning, was nice. She's of the MILF age but nice body, soft skin, good tongue work. Price is 100 for half hour. Only once I had to wait as all the rooms were in use.
Correct information but I can add some extra detail.

Yes, Sundays have different lineups at the ones that are open on Sunday because they allow "free lancers" to show up and work. And the regular "staff" may or may not work, so Sunday (Saturday at Brooklin also) differ frm M-F.

Brooklin. Was amongst the cheapest, now they are more expensive. As mentioned many times, things are subject to change. Prices at Brooklin NOW are as follows:

    1 HR.

    Dinheiro: 250.

    Cartão: 270.

    1/2.

    Dinheiro: 220.

    Cartão: 240.

    Four hands.

    Dinheiro: 350.

    Cartão: 370.

Clinica Donna is new and only a few doors down from Nova Ceci so you might as well check them both out together. Donna is new, nice management, cheap, but with only about 5 girls in lineup max. Still, if you are on the street, its worth a look.

Moema Prime. Despite your "bad" rating I would encourage others to visit Moema Prime and judge for themselves. Normally, the reception is the most friendly. You have to understand 30 minutes is a very short time and including 2 showers it will pass fast. Prime generally has a large lineup 8-15 girls with a very "high average". It just opened in 2018 and has great facilities. It is my #1 recommendation in Moema.

    5) Shopping, money, and communications.

    - The expensive "24 hour ATM" limits withdrawals to 1000 reals and there's a crazy fee. Something like 30 reals or so, I don't remember.

    - Normal ATMs are available at banks, but look for the Visa / Mastercard logo. Not all ATMs have it. I found Bradesco and Itai banks both have normal ATMs with the limit of 2500 reals and no fees on their end.

    - Shopping center at Av. Ibirapuera, 3103 - Indianpolis, So Paulo. SP, 04029-200 - is your one stop shop for money and a sim card (and a cup of coffee if you go to the basement) - but only during working hours.

    - There's a bradesco bank on the third floor (I think it's called 2nd floor in Brazilian) with normal ATMs. Didn't find any normal ATMs on the first floor (T in Brazilian).
Good information in the post. I am only commenting on these parts above.

As you mention Uber is generally the best option. I only use subway when traffic is at a standstill or I am going sufficiently far to make the subway significantly cheaper.

    RE banks and ATMs.

My recommendation is to ONLY use the ATMs in bank branches that have visible security guards, or in the shopping malls. This is to avoid ATMs that have been hacked. I suppose the airport ATMs are OK, but that is just a guess.

You are correct that you have to look for an ATM that supports your foreign bank card's network. Your card will indicate its supported networks. As for fees that is complicated subject. I use Schwab bank because they "reimburse" ATM fees.

You list Bradesco and Itau (its Itau not Itai BTW). My experience is that Bradesco is pretty good with foreign card networks like Plus and Cirrus but they "did" have a per withdrawal limit that "was" lower than Santander. Therefore for the last 2 years I have been using Santander which allows a withdrawal up to 1500 reais. Santander does charge a fee, but like I said, in my case it is reimbursed by Schwabb. There is a Santander on the first floor of Shopping Ibirapuera. However. Very important. Not all of the ATMs in a given branch will support the full range of networks. In the Shopping Ibirapuera Santander for example, only the two ATMs on the far left support foreign networks, they are the ones with the Banco 24 Hours sticker on them. The other ATMs in the same branch will say "your card is not supported" . Very confusing. Also, this sticker "banco 24 Hours" is not be confused with the free standing Banco 24 hours machines that you see in gasoline stations and convenience stores. Avoid those machines like the plague as those are often hacked. I am referring to Santander "machines" that also support the banco 24 "network" - those are OK when they are in Santander bank branches with security. Not all bank branches are equal. I have been cloned 3 times in Brazil. The last 2 times were at Bradesco branches that I had used many times without problem. Both were free standing branches, both had security during the day but at night and weekends there is no visible security and hackers can do their dirty work. After this I have stuck to the branches in shopping centers whenever possible as the security is more visible and they are less unattended. But this is "general" rule, there is no sure thing in Brazil.

Also, I was surprised that Itau worked for you. I have not tried Itau in a long time. I know it did not work for me years ago, so I never tried again.

Awesome FR awesome FR, trip summary and tips. Perfect reading for my Jan25 arrival

Awesome awesome awesome trip summary and tips. Perfect timing for my Jan 25 arrival to SP. Items I found most useful:

    6) There are free walking tours, museums that are free on Saturdays, free roof access to a tall building downtown, etc etc.

    3) Getting around. - Uber from the airport was 80 reals (22). - Uber around town. Most were in the 10-15 reals range, cheapest was 8, most expensive was 25 reals (from downtown and with some surge pricing).

    4) Hotel. - The highly recommended Mercure Moema on Av Lavandisca.

The bad:- Brooklin (Joaquin Guarani, 121) - more than 200 for half hour, CBJ, asked for the money up front.

    - Generally the weekday crowd is different from the Sunday lineup, so may be nice to visit the same clinica on a Sunday and on a weekday to see more variety.

    - A good strategy is to show up early and sit and wait for the girls to show up, then pick them as they walk in. Helps avoid the cum breath.

-I reached out to a few girls but in the end only settled on one named Bianca Lessa.

    Sao Paulo part 2

    Overall impression:

This city is exactly what I was looking for in my long post. I love it that girls are generally very clean, they shower before and after, BBBJ is the rule and CBJs are the few exceptions. I am not interested in anal so I didn't partake but it was frequently offered for a small surcharge. I cheapskated out every single time.

Also the girls at the clinicas (or at least the ones I picked) are cuddly and huggable within the time constraints. Some of them speak a few words of English. None try to beg for tips or anything like that. Generally payment to the front desk after the deed is done.

    Websites:

    - gpguia is your friend, and it's spelled gp-guia.net. Need to register which is easy, just use google translate.

    - photoacompanhantes.com.

    - Cross reference those sites with the reviews on gpguia.

I reached out to a few girls but in the end only settled on one named Bianca Lessa. She has a private room downtown. Nice and clean room, nice and clean girl. Very easy to set up an appointment. 230 for 1 hour. BBBJ, CFS, hugging, kissing, etc. Blonde, beautiful curves. Made me very happy. Getting to her building, the guard doesn't speak any English but he basically knows that you're there to visit someone, it's not nuclear science.

    Clinicas:

    - Awesome awesome awesome. The cheaper versions may not have air conditioner in the rooms, some rooms in Tangara look like they could have used a renovation a century ago, but basically every clinic without exception will have a bed, a shower, a clean towel for you and another for a girl, a clean sheet (they come in a package) and some soap. Some will have the luxuries such as a disposable toothbrush and Listerine.

    - Red Massagem Moema 841 - been twice, first time with Maia (very skinny but curvy little girl), second don't remember the name but was also very nice, tall, blonde, babyface. 150 hh / 200 HR / 280 2-girl special. Recently renovated, nice place.

    - clinica donna Avenida Ceci, 2228 - Planalto Paulista. Had a tall black girl. 120 for the hour. Likewise, good attitude, good service. But no air conditioner.

    - Right across the street is clinica nova ceci. Ceci 2189 - I think 150 hh / 200 HR but not 100% sure. Went twice, first time with a girl named Jack (from the weekday crew), second time on a Sunday a girl named Cloe. Young brown-ish, speaks some English. Both good, hugging, kissing, GFE, BBBJ, good attitude.

    The bad:

    - Brooklin (Joaquin Guarani, 121) - more than 200 for half hour, CBJ, asked for the money up front.

    - shaolin massages are. Antônio de Macedo Soares, 1589 - CBJ, 200, asked for the money up front.

    - Prime (Irai 511) - the girl didn't want to do BBBJ, also this was the only place that charged me a full hour for being a little over 30 minutes. Apparently to get the 30 minute price I should have told the receptionist that I only want 30 minutes. Which I didn't. Still, no big loss, and I'm not going back.

    - CLínica Nova Pan. Rua Pan-Americana, 139 - not really bad but it's a small place, they only had 2 girls available when I walked in and I liked neither of them. Would return to check them out again in a pinch. They are about 5 minutes walk from Avenida Ceci.

Boates / strip clubs: I didn't even bother. Since I discovered the clinicas, seems to be a waste of money. I don't like the noise, I don't do booze, and I don't like girls wearing heavy makeup.

Basically the clinicas are closer to FKK rather than partytreff. There's no public sex (I am neutral about it, I don't mind doing things in the open but it doesn't particularly turn me on either) and there's no flat rate, but for example a typical partytreff day pass would cost me 100 eur. That's 425 reals. That's 4 sessions at Tangara plus a round-trip Uber. I was much younger when I was able to do more than 4 at a partytreff, so considering that usually I can do 1 or 2 at Tangara, the value proposition is perfect.

I'll be around town for a few more days, if you'd like me to check out a clinic do let me know, I have a few on my list left to visit but basically I'm open. As long as they are in a reasonable part of town, preferably near Moema.

Sao Paulo part 1: the logistics.

    1) Visa.

    - self-service, straightforward process, printable visa emailed next day.

    2) Getting in.

    - Wild variety of prices. I found a special fare from Florida for $400, plus tickets to get to Florida. All in was way cheaper than the tickets from my town.

    - Customs / immigration basically a non-event. Only question was how long would I be staying. But printed visa checked before boarding and at the immigration.

    3) Getting around.

    - Uber from the airport was 80 reals (22).

    - Uber around town. Most were in the 10-15 reals range, cheapest was 8, most expensive was 25 reals (from downtown and with some surge pricing).

    - Subway. Took it a few times when it made sense (I was right next to the station), costs 4 reals, so with uber pricing being around 10-12 it's not worth making the effort.

    4) Hotel.

    - The highly recommended Mercure Moema on Av Lavandisca.

    - Rooms have balconies and living rooms, which is absolutely awesome for stays of longer than a day or two.

    - Safe neighborhood, a few supermarkets within 2-3 blocks, bars, cafes, restaurants, etc. And very walkable, I was walking around even after dark as long as there are people, which there usually are.

Ibirapuera, 3103 - Indianópolis, São Paulo.

    - TWO VIVO shops, one on the second floor, another on the third. The one on the second floor is useless. They sent me to the third floor because only that shop can activate a sim card with a passport only, without a Brazilian document.

    - The third floor (the top floor) Vivo shop is well-staffed, there's a girl named Bianca who speaks English, and the store manager is rather helpful. Bring in your unlocked cell phone, a passport (a copy would not do, they need the original) and after 30 minutes of them typing ferociously you'll end up with an activated and tested sim card. The cost for the card is 12 reals, then a data+voice plan costs between 7 and 20 reals per week depending on your needs and current promotions. Overall, it takes time but it's not a hassle at all.

    6) There are free walking tours, museums that are free on Saturdays, free roof access to a tall building downtown, etc etc. A nice city. Hot but not super hot. I would turn on the air conditioner for about an hour to cool down the bedroom before sleeping, but I would just keep the balcony door open and enjoy the fresh air in the living room.

    7) Food is kinda expensive. But fresh juices are a great bargain at 5-6-7 reals. Beef is good, I prefer Brazilian-style to Argentinian. The latter is way too soft for my liking, I want to be able to chew through my dead cows.

    Monkey Paw

I got to say you boys raised my curiosity so I did a search on our colleague Monkey Paw. I love MP's grandiosity in applying illeism. I have to thank a poster for the word "illeism" when he called out Monkey Paw for such action. Let's just say Seinfeld fans remember Jimmy at the health club in referring to his attraction to Elaine. "Jimmy is pretty sweet on you. You're just Jimmy's type." (Illeism is the act of referring to oneself in the third person instead of first person.).

Having said that, Marshall Earp thinks Monkey Paw has to be one of the coolest and most original handles on this or any forum.
