Evidently cases are starting to spike in Cartagena and the Colombian Caribbean coast:

It appears that cases are climbing quickly according to that article and the data released by the Ministry of Health in Colombia:
https://twitter.com/MinSaludCol/stat...41184081833984
Worldometers shows the number of confirmed, or presumptive, daily cases in Colombia continuing to rise:

I do communicate with a couple of chicas there who keep sending me their dirty photos but I wasn't able to get anything meaningful from them on the situation. They are still in lock down with specific days for people to go out based on their gender and ID number. My tout tells me he's worried he will run out of food soon. If Cartagena gets hit hard, which it appears its about to, then that city will be changed for a long time. Tourists aren't going to flock to a place that had become a hot spot for COVID-19. That in turn will cause a death spiral in the local economy.
Anyone currently there care to share what the situation is like on the ground?

Did you see "28 Days Later"? Fortunately the virus is less aggressive, but the sleep seems so deep.

Going to book up as soon as things get under control with the virus, god knows when but it's good to have something to look forward to.

Anyone know when the ban on gringos coming to Colombia will be lifted? I have heard it was for 2 weeks. Was it extended?

I'm happy to be proven wrong but I think things will never be the same there, or many other places after this pandemic has past.
