The stupidity of the MAGA crowd is unbelievable. But the Orange Buffoon often stated that he liked his voters dumber than a box of rocks.

I've heard Rudy is dodging giving testimony under oath because he'll have to reveal what Trump told him was the real reason he encited and led that violent January 6, 2021 attack on America.

Yep, it was because Trump "smelled weakness" on the President of the United States at the time.

Same as always with these things.

If someone is long and says "I missed the market top" that to me means they should have sold at the higher price.

So according to your rule, if a stock goes higher, it HAS to keep hitting higher and higher highs which sounds like you are doing technical analysis, and you do not have a clue what real due diligence and fundamental analysis is.

If you have not noticed, you have been getting your ass kicked money wise since this discussion has been going on. So by all means, comfort yourself with that stupid arrogance because you are going to be so poor, that is all you are going to have...
Regardless what the "market top" or "market bottom" means to a trader who wanted to do something at those points, the fact that he said perhaps a half dozen of times by now that he missed it because of "lack of due diligence" available or done means he didn't "think it was going to go up or down" at those points.

That is the blissfully obvious concept you have failed to grasp over and over again no matter how you monkey with the idea of what a "top" or "bottom" might mean to 100 different investors or 100,000 of them.

And I have only barely touched on your apparent total lack of understanding the difference between a speculator, trader or gambler and a long term investor.

Please open your notebook to page 2:

A long term investor is not looking to move holdings in, out, in, out, etc of the market on the prospect of a potential Correction on the horizon.

But, as Buffet's famous bet proved conclusively, a long term investor who buys into a broadly based Index fund tracking, say, the S&P 500, rain or shine, high or low, through thick or thin, will kick the ass of virtually every professionally managed portfolio of stocks after doing what you described over a 10 year period.

Long term investors are not keeping score and calling it a game, set, match after 5 months.

He's being stiffed for most of the work he did in 2021.

He's been stripped of his bar license.

Dominion looks to be on the winning side of a 1.5 billion lawsuit.

He's the leader and creator of hundreds of false electors in seven states.

Something or someone's got to give.

And Rudy Giulian's looking like someone who can be turned.

In any direction for the best deal.

Everyone! Hold your noses! The stench is about to be released. This will not be pleasant.

    For some.

Don't you know that XXEEGGRR means the stock market is going down? OMG, you are so stupid. I cannot believe you do not know that.

And while the S&P is down around 15% for the year, I am up 22% in 2 weeks. Now why is that? Aren't individuals not supposed to be able to beat the market?

Yeah, it must be dumb luck. It could not have anything to do with betting on the Fed wrecking the economy by unwinding the balance sheet and raising interest rates, and Biden is off blabbing about Ukraine instead of taking care of things back home.

And Ukraine / Russia produces 15% of the world's wheat and 40% of the world's fertilizer. Let me know how this stupid fucking war is not going to be inflationary.

You dumb Dems used the virus to bring Trump down and ruin the economy and guess what? Now the bill is coming due.

No one invaded Serbia or Rwanda. The new governments of these countries handed over their war criminals to the ICC.

That's just two examples. There have been more.

And - what a funny thing - the West never had the leverage of crippling economic sanctions held over those two nations.

    Over Russia, it does.

Will take a while and there will be a lot of resistance, but it can be done. National pride is all nice and dandy, but people need to eat.

Your answer was not to answer. "Both sides need to compromise and settle this, nobody is winning."

Can you read? Can you understand what you read? Do you know what I asked? Did you graduate from third grade or were you held back half-a-dozen times?

Astonishing. Is it possible that you still don't understand that when someone says they missed the market top for lack of due diligence that means that, by definition, they did not "think it is going down"?

Seriously? I mean, really, are you that dense?

How about if someone says they missed the bottom of the market due to lack of due diligence? Please tell us you don't misunderstand that to mean they "thought the market is going up."

Trump, man of Peace, not War

See, that's why Trump wanted to fire missiles into our southern border ally country and bomb it, call out USA Military troops to shoot USA protesters and, eventually, incite a violent, cop-killing Insurrection against America, whipping up and urging his America-hating mob to "fight like hell and never give up or you lose your country" and have our military wage a Civil War against USA citizens at the Capitol.

Because, you know, he is a "genius" who understands how bad war is for the economy:

Esper says Trump proposed launching missiles into Mexico to destroy drug labs
    May 5, 2022

    https://thehill.com/policy/defense/3...roy-drug-labs/

According to Esper, Trump raised the idea of bombing the drug labs at least twice in the summer of 2020. Trump told Esper the U.S. should shoot missiles into Mexico to destroy the drug labs.

They dont have control of their own country, Trump told Esper, according to the Times review of the memoir.

When Esper objected, Trump responded no one would know it was us and we could just shoot some Patriot missiles and take out the labs, quietly.

Esper at first assumed it was a joke but thought otherwise as he looked at the president, according to The Times.
    ...
Trump had threatened to deploy active-duty troops to address the protests, but Esper came out against the proposal publicly, drawing the presidents ire.

See, in common stock market parlance, a "market top" generally refers to a point just prior to a significant decline, usually enough to qualify as a Bear Market. "due diligence" refers to the research one does in order to determines one's next move re stocks.

The next step will be a decline in earnings due to an increase in costs. Some companies have been honest about it, and others have not been.

With you, multiple contractions and earnings misses have nothing to do with stock prices. The only thing that matters with stock prices in your world is who is president, and that is why you are a fool.

    Yes, probably

Well, he lost the vote by millions in 2016, again in 2020, ultimately lost the White House, The House of Representatives and the Senate for his so-called Party in just 1 four year term, the first one to do that since Herbert Hoover.

Counting a million American lives (so far), millions upon millions of American jobs, Trillion $ in American household wealth and his failed violent, cop-killing attempt to overturn a free and fair election and overthrow American democracy, the only things you God has "won" in 7 years was the Repub primary and enough votes in the rigged Electoral College designed to allow an over-represented minority to put their unfit Repubs in office in order to crash the USA economy over and over and over again.

Yeah, he'll probably win that Repub primary again. Especially now that Repubs know his sterling historic record and penchant for producing truly horrific across-the-board results for America. They love that. It's the only thing they know how to do and want to do.
