I am in Trinidad very often. There is no red light district. There are strip clubs. Yo can definitely find women. But no red light district.

Thanks. Last night, I started cobbling together a possible itinerary for Trinidad and Tobago. The way it stands right now, I'll probably be in Trinidad (Port of Spain) for a total of three nights and in Tobago for a total of four nights later this year. While RTFF, I saw Copa Bar mentioned a couple of times and might go that route. Tobago is probably going to be a wash because I'm looking at staying on the northwest side of the island and relatively far from the main population areas on the south side of the island.

If you're in Trinidad very often, please consider writing some trip reports. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, it's just that it's sad that if you go back only a couple of pages in the Trinidad forum, you're suddenly reading reports from 2014 and 2015. This forum desperately needs a regular injection of fresh information.

I've been considering Trinidad and Tobago for some time and may pull the trigger and visit those islands later this year. Well recently, my favorite travel host, Anthony Bourdain, visited Trinidad and showcased the island during one of his "Parts Unknown" episodes on CNN. His trip notes can be found here:

And when describing "The Perfect Day in Port of Spain," Bourdain said:

"Turn up Murray Street, known as a red-light district."

I RTFF here and didn't see Murray Street referred to as a red-light district, so I was wondering if that was true or not. Also, Bourdain mentions Frankie's and The Big Black Box and I was wondering if picking up one of the local Trini girls at either of those places was even possible. Thoughts, guys?

Street girls not my thing at all either.

Most girls I have seen were found in the Express newspaper personal classifieds.

Got a place in St. James that has Indian girls, I've not been yet as I am from south and rarely venture up north.

Indian girls mostly work 9 am-5 pm as they got to keep their "profession" secret from their family and man.

Been to a place called Priya's in couva. Mostly Indian, dougla and darkies.

Usual house scene, but safe.

Venez are more hotel calls, as most they stopped doing incalls for risk of raids etc, but there are still a few.

The economy is reducing escort clients, so you get better rates on the local girls, venez tho prices maintain at almost double local girls, most have handlers\drivers but there are a few independents.

I don't have my hobby phone on me ATM so I will reply with a few numbers when I do.

Booked a trip because of the hype about Trini women. I'm missing Carnival by about 10 days, damn it would have been nice. Could have visited Barbados as well, looks like the "action" is everywhere in Barbados; however. I've googled numerous strip clubs in Barbados and it seems to have a red light district. Now turn the page to Trinidad and not a damn thang I can find but Carnival footage. Is there even a strip club in the whole frigging country?
