I have seen a poor man with backpack assaulted by a swarm of a dozen street kids. They took everything even the shoes in 30 seconds.
I'm just curious no one has ever gotten robbed in the States? How do you handle any densely populated areas? With some caution.

I have seen something similar. Someone was saying he gave middle finger to the trans at Veracruz church recently. I guess he is joking. If it were real, I think he did not realize if one of them choose to react, the others may follow like a swarm of bees to attack him.

My apologies to the admins. You guys are definitely getting too much work moving everything to the Stupid Shit thread. You really don't get enough recognition for your efforts.

I can see you're new here, and by your name I see you prefer sex with sheep. Whatever works for you.

You bypassed a lot of landscape to get to your destination.

First, you're assuming I would have no evidence. I realize, freshly arriving from your latest InCel (involuntarily celibate- a group of whiney ass boys who cry because they can't get laid and compensate by calling men, who can get laid, "simp. ") pity party, you don't know much about. Really anything at all. I get messages of personal tragedy every week from some girl in Medellin. Usually it's a simple RFM (request for money). On rare occasions I will provide some help. Two weeks ago I helped a girl recover her wallet, which she had forgotten at a resort 3 hours from home.

If it's a situation where I'm willing to offer my assistance, I require compelling evidence. Which is why RFMs usually fail. In the case of a woman getting beaten bad enough to end up in the hospital, there will at least be pictures, plus a doctor's report.

If the woman is sending this information to me, it's because she's one of the few women who feel a deeper connection with me. If you ever get out from under mother's thumb, you might experience something most mongers know. Some girls you make a connection with. They stay in contact, but never ask for anything. They send messages when good things happen in their life, or just to check up on you. They consider you to be a special friend.

So now the situation is, I have evidence, plus the word of someone who I know, versus someone I know nothing about. Sorry, but I'm going to tell her to call the police and I'm going to tell her exactly what information to give them.

Here's the part you trailer park commandos never seem to understand. If some gringo beats the crap out of some Colombian hooker, the hooker is either going to the police, or she's going to her uncle, brother, cousin, father's friend. Whoever she knows that knows how to take care of the situation. And if the guy is still around a few days later, his woman beating days will come to an end. 6 months later someone will start finding the pieces.

When the police in Colombia go to arrest a rapist, or anyone who commits violence against women and children, they send a whole riot squad. Because the people don't want the guy to go to Colombian prison and get off easily. They would rather beat the guy to death.

You think a gringo who beats up hookers is going to get the key to the city?

So I went and got my test today and 15 minutes later I was told I was negative. However, when I looked at the results that were sent to me, it described a "MOLECULAR POCT" test. From my understanding, a PCR test is a molecular test. But since the results says "POCT" and not "PCR" I suspect that the test will not be accepted. So, I've made another appointment with CVS for the PCR test that goes to the lab and once again I'll be waiting to see if I get my results in time. Very frustrating. What I've found is that most of the folks who give these tests are not very knowledgeable (and the web pages do not always give you clear information). So you really have to pay attention. Ugh.
So a PCR test is a RNA genetic test. Anything that says they tested for multi ways is usually a PCR test it may have included the rapid test too. POCT means the samples weren't tested on site where they were collected but an accredited lab its an insurance a and government payout.

It looks like you are all expert here about robberies and crimes. Once again, if you are so afraid, stay home. I do what I fuckin want and I take my risks. You should all stop to scary people, because crimes happen all over the world. A guy run over a police officer just today in London. And today in a city in Italy, one of the most secure, a guy opened the fire with a stolen gun after a fight, 5 got shot, one is serious. So please stop, and I say to everyone of you, to scare the shit out of people, because 1) you don't know a shit; 2) crimes happen everywhere, especially in US.

That can be anywhere. And people get robbed and killed for nothing some of the time. It isn't the junkies you have to worry about, it's the criminals. And there are lots, and lots of guns too.

In a city where you can hire a hit man for much less than $100 US it's not all safe and secure.
That really puts things in perspective! $100!

These things generally happen extremely quickly. I've witnessed two muggings in Centro and the thing was 10 seconds or less. No real time to react.

Thanks for your post. After reading it I went looking on the health minister and immigration websites but could not find anything. Then I asked some buddies about it and they sent me the link.

I saw a map once of the street gangs, and the higher level gangs that control the street gangs. For Medellin. There were hundreds of street level gangs, and a number of higher level organizations they may have to answer to. They don't generally want wars. That gets too much attention, as in the past with Escobar, etc. But one offs are not a problem. You don't want to be one of those. You tell someone to f off. Maybe they understand you maybe they don't. But they get the picture. But you do that to the wrong one. You're dead. They don't have any problem at all with that.

Too much ass on most of these girls. There was 1 girl who had a great bottle shaped body. She wore white jeans and a floral top which bared her midriff. She must have noticed me staring at her. As she passed by me she caressed my arm and then took position not far behind and to the left of me. I turned around and asked motioned for her to approach. She said her name was claudia. Unfortunately as she got closer, I got a better look at her face which revealed that she was much older than I originally thought. I would guess she was mid 30's at least. But her body still looked good. I asked her how old she was, and she replied how old do you want me to be. In my head, I thought to myself. About 15 years younger than you are. I laughed at her response and asked her how much it was to go upstairs. She quoted me 120 k. A little steep for for her and for any of the girls really.
Barra Ejectiva / Conejitas girls are usually in the 80 k range, try offering that next time instead of asking her a price. Usually more girls on then that but you might have been there too early.

If Conejitas is packed it gets hot, try to find a seat along the back wall under the air con vents. I do like the rooms upstairs better at Conejitas, the Barra Ejectivas ones can be too dark and hot for my taste. Also when in Barra Ejectiva it worth walking thru the next door strip club Maracaibo (assuming it has reopened) just in case, some times some hotties.

I did not walk around at night time though. Then I suggest a cab cause its so damn cheap. Centro is not my cup of tea. But really its just an ordinary busy central business district. Whats noticeable is the grimey and disgusting prostitutes mixed up with the harden hookers forced into prostituting or there because of drugs and desperation. Walking there occasionally in day time is not bad but I don't see it as a go to spot. I am actually shocked by guys who glow about the area. Having said this I do want to check out the strip clubs in centro just to say I experienced it. Medellin is cupcake city to me. Sweet and safe

Your advice sounds very generic, almost applicable to anywhere in the world, yet not totally applicable to Colombia, and Euro's aren't used in Colombia.

Following up, I went to a Scotiabank Colpatria and withdrew 900 mil with my Schwab card without a problem. Their initial screen only lists 20 mil, so you have to select "Other amount", then you get more options. They charge no ATM fees.

There is a place in Orlando called Covidtestingllc.com. They do 24-hour PCR tests. There are no appointments. I got the test about 8:45 am and received the results at 11 pm that night. If you have insurance, the cost is $35. All the information is on their website. I got there an hour before they opened, and was the fourth vehicle in line. Actually, they have six testing lanes, and I was first in the fourth lane. They are very efficient, I highly recommend. I also got a test at an urgent care place in Orlando, but was not sure I would get the results in time because they send the test to a lab. I received the results in two days. An additional note, neither result stated the word "Negative"; both stated "Not detected". I traveled from Orlando to Medellin last Friday, so I know the test results they provide are what is needed.

Don't forget to fill out the questionnaire on the Colombia Health Minister site the day before you travel. I forgot about it until I was in Panama. Hastily, I filled it out a little over an hour before I arrived in Medellin, and it was accepted.
