I agree! Its my prefered soft landing to start my time in Bogota. I like to stay there for 2 to 3 nights, hit the mezz a bunch of times, and meet anyone new from seeking that is less pro / would take offense to a love motel. This way I don't invite them to my airbnb but I don't seem like a player by doing a love motel.

What do you think about the safety aspect of airbnbs? Not sure what hotels are like in COL, but it seems people are saying there are usually security checking back in when they enter hotels? I don't usually see that in the US (pretty much anyone can walk into most hotels and go up to any room).
It might be, but there also isn't neccasarily another one that's available for 3 more weeks in the general area that I need to be in that isn't crappy. If I didn't have access to unlimted cell internet I would have had to move though.

All airbnbs that I have stayed in have had a locked front door and 24/7 security that opens it for you. I have only stayed north of Calle 80. If you read the airbnb house rules you can get a feel for how guest friendly or not a place will be. Some clearly state only people that checkin can enter for the duration of the stay. Others don't and I message those ones and ask what the guest policy was. The last airbnb replied back saying it was no problem, but if I get an internet prepaid and got drugged that it was my problem. That security wrote down name and government ID of my guests which is probably good for me.

Since I am still getting used to Bogota and my Spanish sucks I like the building security.

But I think airbnbs may not be as secure?
Take care of your own security in each case, and internet in Airbnb is a crapshoot. But ones I have been in have worked, not always well. If a higher speed connection is needed you will have to be very specific before you book, asking the host. Even then you will need good luck.

A major business style hotel would be more likely to have a good connection. Or go to a co-working location set up for that.

Luckily I had access to a wifi router that accepts a sim with unlimited data. Airbnb before that was in and out all the time and the wifi from the modem barely reached the bedroom.

I certainly am not suggesting all airbnbs are like that. But if you are from the states, think about what Comcast is like when things go wrong.

Dann Carlton hotel has always been good for me with internet.

Frankly, the thought that you'd have to pay extra to bring a guest to your room at a non all-inclusive place is crazy.
Domestic is different from Colombia. I'm just sharing my experience staying at the W Bogota as well as several other chain hotels. Pre-covid I traveled weekly for work and have all of the status you'd expect, yet they still try to charge me extra after you first +1 at the western hotels. They want you to check your girl in and most are trying to keep up appearances. At the end of the day just call and see what they say. The way I have gotten around it is by making separate 1 and 2 day reservations at the same hotel which allows me to have a new '+1' nearly every day. In this post Covid environment they may be more forgiving.

Very well stated, indeed. As you alluded, its impractical to compare experiences that entail vastly differing experiences and price points.

A much more effective comparison can be made if we eliminate the cost variable. I. e. Compare the outcome of each experience assuming you spent the same amount of money in each case. Now things will become crystal clear very, very quickly. Let's go with 400 k.

    Option 1.

400 k SA / Freelance: one awesome GFE session with a smoking hot upper-tier chica at your place or luxury motel for 90 minutes. Likely all services covered, and just one pop (2 pops max, assuming you're capable of nutting again before time expires).

    Option 2.

400 k SF SW's: Two 2-hour *threesomes* at your place or luxury motel, with slightly less hot, but more enthusiastic, chicas, likely not GFE, but with unlimited pops, and available BBBJTCIM or CIP if desired; basically the same convenience and room as option A, but exponentially more time and pleasure. Or, you could do EIGHT 30 min sessions in a crap motel instead if preferred, or any combination in between.

To each his own, but when we neutralize / equalize the variables of cost, room, and convenience, you can now more clearly see the tradeoff; it comes down to either marginally better looks / class / plastic surgery (but less service options) from the supposed top-notch chica, or a 500 to 1000% increase in duration, pleasure, provider variety, service options, and number of pops with a SF chica, for the same money.

I'll let you have the marginal increase in looks, match you for room and convenience, and I'll take the 7 to 10 extra pops with BBBJTCIM.

Girls on the street in Santa Fe I believe charge around 30 k. What you get for the price varies depending on your bargaining skills and your personality. Most commonly you'll get a short session in a nearby short time room. You'll probably be asked to pay extra for certain things.

Girls in the clubs, at least some of the clubs, charge about 80 k, for a short session in one of the rooms. The quality depends on how well you connect with the girl..

You're definitely right on there, picking the right girl.

I don't argue either, definitely not my style, I just chat.

Hope to get back soon, tho Brazil has been stealing my time lately 🇧🇷

Girls in casas charge depending on the location. Cost might reach 150-200 k. Northside clubs cost more. Freelancers cost more, or less and come to you. All different experiences, all different prices and much of your success at getting what you desire depends on your own ability.
