I am in Bucaramanga for a week. I have checked some some of the addresses and numbers on this site for Brothels "Casa" but they have either seized business or moved out of town. Any tips on finding brothels in Bucaramanga or Floridablanca would be appreciated.

Yes in the centre, the walk is safe and in the most part of Bucaramanga too. The public service cabs (the Yellow cabs) are safe too.

How did you find the people in Bucaramanga, friendly? Interested in foreigners as I guess they don't get many? How were the looks of the average chica?

The Burmangeses are friendly like the most part of the Colombian peoples. There is foreigners in Bucaramanga is a big city, although it's not touristic. The average chica is small, clear skin, long black smooth hair, some with big ass and breast and some without.

I was the last month in Bucaramanga. I tried four "spas" :

* Humana relajacion, Calle 39 #19-39 in the Centro. I was two times, the twice with the same girl. She knows to massaging and the happy end is a hand job. There is one shower for all the massage rooms. 70 000 COP for one hour.

* Mayan Masaje, Local 231 Omnicentro, Calle 36 # 17-52, in the Centro. I was one time. The girl was beautiful, but the massage was very very boring, without any sexual excitation. The final is a hand job, but she suggested sex for 100000 COP. The massage with hand job cost 70 000 COP.

*Naturalvia Spa, Calle 52 # 22-09 2 do Piso, Barrio Nuevo Soto Mayor. The place is a little bit too small, I've passed 20 minutes to wait for a free massage room, but during this time I could see the girls mot of them nude. The massage was nice, the happy ending is an hand job for 50000 COP an hour. The girl propose sex for 70000 COP more.

You make it sound like Bucaramanga is somewhere in the US Midwest. Bucaramanga is 100% Colombia, and the similarities with Medellin are more than the differences. I don't know what spectrum you mean, but the important one is the spectrum across the social strata which exists in every Colombian city. There are plenty of conservative serious working people in both places. And Antioquia is as much about farming as Santander.

You are right about the history of violence. A large part of the population of Medellin are displaced families who were chased off their land and out of their houses in the country by paramilitaries. And that's why you have Raudal and Veracruz in Medellin and not in Bucaramanga. But as I have shown, there are plenty of P4 P places in Bucaramanga, as one would expect of a city that size in Colombia.

And being fairly fluent in Spanish is a requirement everywhere in Colombia outside tourist ghettoes like Parque Lleras. Just like being fairly fluent in English is a requirement for travelling to the US, as everybody knows.

Nothing is more embarrassing than running upon gringos in Colombia that think all they have to do is put a "0" on the end of every word and speak loudly and Spanish speakers somehow understand. If you're going to travel, LEARN THE LANGUAGE! Also, tits up on Medellin having more in common than Bucaramanga than Cleveland. I see very little parallels between Colombian and US cities, but an undeniable thread throughout Colombia.
