I stayed at the apartment in April, for about 2 weeks, this was my 3rd trip to Rio, but was also the best. I have to thank for this to the brazil specialist, so: thank you again!

This time I saw a whole new side of Rio, one hidden to the eye of the outsiders. Low prices, nicer, more lovable girls, and access to lots of mongering places otherwise reserved to the locals.

Not a luxury place, but very decent conditions, similar to a medium priced hotel, but without the daily room servicing, so you'll have to pick up a little bit after yourself, because the cleaning lady comes only twice a week. The fact that the price is way lower, maybe half of that of a hotel room, and you can bring in girls without the harassment of the hotel receptionists, makes it the best value for the money anyway.

Also I have to mention, there is a second suite, which will be most likely rented to somebody, another fellow mongerer, or to a surprise guest, like it was in my case: a mongeres (if the term is right) a girl from France, with the mind twisted (in the right direction) which accompanied me lots of times in my daily hunt.

I have stayed at BS apartment's 5 times now. There is NO BETTER PLACE in all of Rio in my opinion. And, he charges much less than the hotel I used to stay at. He knows everything about the scene there, has an impressive ability to find the cutest girls imaginable, and living there is always filed with surprises. Apartment is on Nossa Senhora de Copacabana, not far from Rua Sá Ferreira. Sá Ferreira is exactly where life post Posto 5 is on the beach.

I keep prices in the range of prices for studio apartments. Outside Carnival in the range 90 dollars for a suite. Less for long periods, more for a very short stay. I sometimes give special discounts to mongers in need, because they are more fun. Mongers usually save tons of money from my advice. I now also rent to non-mongers (boring). Since I use that rental web site I increased my prices. I stayed in Brazil Specialist's rooms last week. For background, I speak no Portugese and this was my first mongering trip to Brazil (second overall) although I had mongered a lot in Asia and Europe. I had read the board and before I got in touch with BS I had booked at Hotel Atlantic@$130 per night and expected to do a couple of Termas (though I thought them very expensive) and maybe try some Centro places from Sperto's map and guide and I had studied the Bubba (the original!) guide religiously.
