Invited to visit this island for the first time by a club dancer I met in Barbados. Apparently, a number of Jamaican girls come here after leaving Barbados. These girls are fun and like to have a good time with their friends. They work generally from 9 pm To 6 am Then leave for their own living arrangements. In fact, it has become a popular quasi-club, with many men (and women) coming for a night out just as they would for a normal nightclub. Stables, Bruces, Wendy's and Jam Dung / Down are still open to the best of my knowledge, although I have not actually had a proper look inside for quite a while.

"Happy Acres" just outside of town on Fort Road also seems to be a good place for mongering, and also offer "short term" rooms for as little as an hour.

Not to bring a racial element here, but if you are white then I would highly encourage you to exercise caution when visiting these places. The clientele sometimes is of the unsavory type, and I have heard of reports of people being robbed. There are some who still think that white people "have money" and will look to take advantage.

That being said, you will be usually safe while inside, as all of these places have security. I would not recommend walking to and from these places however. If anything, ensure that you have the number of a taxi man handy.

As I mentioned in the post below, these places are hardly (if ever) open early, so if you visit before 10 (and sometimes 11) at night, you'll simply encounter a closed / locked building.

I arrived here in St Kitts on 30 Jan and I am leaving today 4 February. I am just buying one way tickets and island hopping. I stayed at a Hotel near the Marriott, called Sugar Bay. Along the Frigate Bay area beach there can be many locals and college kids. I was told more and more Dominicans are coming here, and with there being some, but not much prostitution going on here now, but some is happening, and some girls probably had some working experience in the DR, I imagine maybe in 3-5 years there might be quite a bit more sex for money going on here, that is if the police can turn a blind eye, or some laws change. Something else here is there is almost zero pharmacies, I only seen one in 5 days. So I don't think you would want to come here to see a pharmacy either. Beaches here are only OK, not much nightlife, or shopping, and hotels are costly compared to some places. I don't see any reason for me to come back here. If you brought your own woman and you wanted a warm and quiet place then maybe you would be OK here.
