Just been to Asuncion. Prices are low but so is also the quallity of the girls. Went up and down the streets on wednesday and thursday evening/night. 10 to 15 chickas on the street. None of them especially attractive. Look like drug addicts. Went to two appartments ("somos" on 14 de Mayo 1008 and the appartment on Azara 479) . 4 chickas presented each place. None of them I would rate above 5. Dissapointing. There are several "hamburgesarias" on Colon with chickas on display after 9 pm. But once again - none of them attractive. Went to the "Playboy club" (thursday around midnight) and talk to an almost attractive chicka. Long brown hair and a nice body (I will rate her about 7-8). She told me that she was 27 years old (and I guess that she maybe was a bit older). However she wanted US$ 50 for 30 minutes (+ US$ 10 to leave the club). In other parts of the world thats not expensive - but in Asuncion it is a large amount of money. I left alone. All in all - very dissapointing!

was in Asuncion a couple of years ago -that being my thrid time there. I found a fine girly "pit stop" at "Ovecha Rague" Estrella 925 c/Montevideo. This is (? maybe no longer? )an Artesania through the day -but is a hamburgesa in the street with tables and beer. I found the propietor great fun - and the girls happy to chat in Spanish (Spanish mixed with confusing Guarani though! )over a beer > same regular price - not "special client price". Buy a few beers for the propietor and girls - The Zephyr Hotel round the corner is comfortable and an "arrangement" with the night porter/concierge allows an all-night guest. The girls there were fun - and amenable for about 100 K Guarani. Some were more a GFE - indeed I took for dinner and drinks first. They love that! My first night back was quiet and two girls wanted me to tke them both - but I was simply shattered after a long bus trip. Alas!

Perhaps someone could report if this place is still in business? I am fond of all there!

I just came back from Asuncion. The prices structure is really great.
I was a couple times in Promotion & Events privado. The girls are the
best looking (college gals). I saw Pamela (blondy) and Monica. Pamela
experience didn't go as I was expecting, she was new (just first week
in the business), but it was great to have a model type girl. Monica
was closer to GFE. Both times the cost was $ Gs 150K (about US $25) in site, but if you take them to your Hotel is Gs 250K (US $41). I had the
chance to visit the other houses too. like Haren 1 and 2, girls are a bit
less attractive, but better GFE.....cost Gs $100K (US $ 16) each time.
Other alternatives are the street girls in Palma y estrella, where is possible to find some gems ( I had a 21 years beauty girl for Gs $150K whole night).
Finally the local discotheques are good place to find the right chicks.
Spanish is required to go deeper into the action. I really enjoyed my stay in Asuncion...I think I'll be going very soon for more action. I did not see any americans, except for some italians and spanish. This a great alternative, with Argentina becaming more expesive this last year.

Lexton is correct. Almost all of the girls on the websites for Paraguay are from the same few houses. Even the ones that say "independante" are from the houses. It will cost approximately twice as much to have the girls come to a hotel as for you to go to their house (U$20-40) . I have not seen the DVD Paraguayitas, but suspected the same as Lexton. The real deal in Paraguay is to try and find the higher end model types. I've been working that angle for a while and it hasn't been easy. The Promociones and Eventos house has some good looking girls. Better than the other houses for sure but I got quoted a very high price (U$100). There is no way I will pay that in Paraguay unless I've seen her picture on the front of a magazine.

One thing that everyone should keep in mind is that practically all of the women on diablitasex, secretos, and asunsex are working in private apartments such as C&C models, Leon Produciones, etc. Other pictures of apartment girls with phone #'s can be found in the weekly paper "Esto"(G2k), although some of the photos I have recognized as fake.

I also looked at the supposedly "high end" "Paraguayitas" (G25k). I did not buy it, but recognized most of the phone #'s on the cover as private apartments and many of the pictures as being from asunsex or secretos. It would appear that some enterprising person has repackaged the web sites in an expensive little magazine. Buyer beware.

The importance of this is that the price for these women in the apartment is typically less than G100k/hr. Some of the apartments will try to charge a gringo price of G250-300k/hr for the same woman to go to a center city hotel. If you get a woman from a hotel guy, the chances are that he simply calls one of these private apartments.

The post of Valentino421 07-08-05 describes the most important of these apartments quite well.

So the best thing to do for these women is go to the apartments, or if you do try to get a woman by phone, insist on a reasonable price of G100k/hr or less.

Also, realize that these girls working in apartments get only 40-60% of what you pay. That is why the street price is G50k+g15k hotel/hr. The SW charges about the high end of what an apartment woman earns. If you can arrange to contact her directly for repeats, she should be able to earn more while you pay her less. The hiring ads for these private apartments typically advertise the ability to earn an average of G150k/DAY!! for a 10-16/hr day(long if the woman lives in the apartment).

Lets try to delay the pricing problems being encountered now in Buenos Aires as long as possible.

I checked out the Le Becan and Karim clubs the other day. The clubs themselves are both below average compared to most strip clubs in South America.

The girls in Karim were also below average. This could have been my timing but I doubt it. There were about 8 women, maybe one worth talking to. It is located just outside the centro.

Le Becan only had about 4 women working the night I was there. Probably the day of the week (Wednesday). I'm sure there would be more on the weekend. Anyway, two out of the four women available were actually pretty hot. I left with a tall good looking (8) chica. Cost was $30. There was also a cover but it wasn't much maybe $10. I took a taxi to this club and couldn't tell you where it was but not far.

In my opinion, you are better off checking out websites for women. They are for the most part better quality than the clubs. Also, I've also seen some really hot chicas on the street, but have never picked one up. Maybe next time...

Just wrapping up a few days in Asuncion and would like to thank everyone for the great information.

I stayed at the Hotel Chaco, where I had no problems bringing in girls. Called in a couple of girls from Asunsex and Secretos.com, both of whom matched their pictures exactly as has been noted before. One of them Sharol from Secretos, was extremely hot but with a wierd personality. The price for these girls was about 250,000-300,000 Guaranies ($40-$50). Also went to Playboys Club in the Centro and met a girl who was very very sweet and intelligent, and about a 7 on the scale but who was a master horn blower! Her fee was about the same ($50), but I also had to buy her 4 overprices drinks that came to about $15. Although she was the least attractive girl I met on this trip, I definitely had the best time with her. Finally, checked out the first two brothels that Valentino lists below and was not overly impressed, but I also went at time when a lot of the girls were busy so I was probably missing the top talent.

All in all, I can't recommend Asuncion very highly. Although things are extremely cheap, and the girls are fairly attractive and nice, I find the town extremely extremely boring (especially coming from BsAs). Asuncion has the vibe of a provincial latin american town with lots of people sitting around with little to do.

i'm now back from my june trip to asuncion, and this is a quick report. unfortunately i spent just a few days in the city, but i could manage to visit 4 different brothels in the "centro" during my stay. and yes, i did enjoy myself!

first, i do confirm the photos and phone numbers mentioned on websites like www.asunsex.com.py or www.secretos.com.py are still most of the time accurate. but once there i found much more information about girls and sex houses in the "diario popular" (2.500 gs), with phone numbers and adresses. there is also a kind of magazine called "paraguayitas" (25.000 gs) with a cd-rom containing videos, photos and adds of the "high quality" brothels in town. i say "high quality", because in comparison i was told i could find a lot of "low quality" brothels in the "puerto" area, even cheaper than the others but in very bad safety and sanitary conditions.

here i must say asuncion is really a very cheap city for western travellers, which means you can manage to live there for a while like a prince with only a few dollars or euros in pocket. but if so i recommend to be very careful and discreet, because it's quite easy to feel unsafe in the "centro" streets, specially at night if you go out, as bars and pubs close their doors from 1.00am because of a recent alcohol prohibition law. better have a car then, as walking around the streets could be dangerous, particularly if you look like a "tourist". of course i could notice the "centro" streets at night are full of prostitutes and travestis, but i think it's better to avoid them, specially for non-speaking-spanish foreigners, because in case of trouble i don't see who could help you (and less than all the police, well known there for its high-level of corruption and implication in criminality).

so here are the 4 brothels i visited, all of them are correct (clean and safe) and start with prices from 60.000 gs/30 mns (bj+intercourse) to 100.000 gs/1h (bj+intercourse+anal) with one girl, or 150.000 gs/30 mns with 2 girls (bj+intercourse). of course it would certainly be easy to negociate to have a lot more if wanted.* outcall is also possible.
