Last year I asked as many girls and taxi drivers about guest policies in Boca and El Laguito and the response was always the same, almost all the buildings at the beach allow guests, some with restrictions on time allowed and overnights. Almost all the apartments and hotels in Centro, frown upon or ban guests.

Another centro option is VRBO. Search for 1 and 2 br apartments and then do the work to contact about the guest policy.

Problems that have been reported in past is that VRBO renter response will say guest no problem and then you get a problem when you try to bring in a guest.

Not just VRBO. Airbnb, as well. I usually read every and all reviews of a property I'm interested in. Some of these review stated they couldn't get women in despite the hosts' assurances.

Like I said, I'd definitely stay in El Laquito or Boca vs Centro. And there was nothing wrong about Juan's apartment (I believe the same you'd stayed at before me), but I'll probably try to find something a little fancier next time with a better pool.

However, Juan is a class act and very responsive, and I would recommend using him in a heartbeat.

If I pay equivalent to $ 60 dollars for an hour and a half with a beautiful young chica with a rocking body there is nothing stupid about it. Where one prefers to go, Medellin vs Cartegena, has everything to do with budget and personal preference. Myself, I prefer the smell of the ocean to the smell of the garbage, so I go to Cartegena.

The last line nails it. There's guys in Medellin, every day, who are paying 300-500 k for girls they could have for 50-100 k. There's girls wanting 300-500 k that I wouldn't pay over 100 k for. If someone is happy to pay it, I'm happy for everyone.

Girls don't like to hang out in Centro but love going to the beach.

If you stay in Centro, you lower your chances of finding the one that you can't get rid of and increase your chances that she wants to hurry and get back to the tower.

El Laguito is only a 5 minute cab ride for $3.

Plenty of condos to hang out with your guests and not have a hassle bringing them in, as long as they have ID.

Juan has many buildings and is the boards go to guy for accommodations.

Assuming you are referring to Hotel Sofitel Legend Santa Clara:

(1) This Hotel will only allow "registered" guests. This means the guest's name has to be provided at time of check-in.
A guest from the UK complained about this issue. I have pasted the response below from Hotel management (from a review on TripAdvisor).

(2) Rooms in this Hotel go for more than US $ 300 per night. I would stay somewhere else.

Thanks. So in Centro, guests are just not generally allowed if they have 'ID" and you pay an extra free like at the Hilton? I've done it at Charleston in Centro once and everything was fine. I do prefer the hotels rather than condos as this is a vacation for me, the girls really just are an extra. If I book for two and it's just me then hopefully they have no issue.
