Dr. Westy, I have applied your direct injection vaccination technique since you shared your medical advice with me a few months ago regarding the various administration methods. Although I still use the skin absorption technique in my practice, I have incorporated your direct injection delivery system. Just need to do a better job of photo documenting vaccine outflow. Having said that, some patients seem to prefer to raise their legs to retain every drop, which I suppose might improve efficacy. I will continue to test and retest vaccine delivery mechanisms on my patients including starting up a trial on anal delivery.

I agree with legit policy. I have heard and seen my foreigners run after racking up huge hospital bills. Many places, including the US, require payment up front. In the US it just looks different in terms of credit card holds or proof of current insurance. Even then, if it is a private hospital, they might still.

I booked two AirBNBs for March. One in BGC and I was told that visitors are allowed until 7 PM and must pay P300 upon check in (need vaxx card and ID). Then from booking in another AirBNB in Makati I was told that one visitor is allowed and need to bring vaxx card. Now it is a trickle and they have all the time in the world to check. When it becomes a torrent they will not have time to check all and will resort to random check. However cannot take the risk.

Yes, the newly trained front line will scrutinize your papers with a fine tooth comb and then pass it on the second line people, who will look at notes and check marks made by the front line and then look at the boss who has been looking over their shoulders for approval. Its a $35-$75 tax imo that I assume is unusable, kind of like a throw away ticket. Its purpose is to gain entry.

I would be curious to hear from people who got sick and had to claim. A lot of insurance requires payment to hospital and insurance company reimbursement at a later date.

A few years ago an acquaintance of an acquaintance was hospitalized in Makati General. I was asked to visit the person. The person received first world hospital treatment. Hospital room was a suite with an extra bed for family to stay over night. It was a long stay and the bill was close to $50,000. I know the person didn't have the money to pay it but had travel medical insurance to cover it. Not sure if the person was released prior to ins payment or not.

Again this was a first world hospital that probably had a medical insurance billing dept.

Problem will be in a third world hospital that has no medical ins billing department demanding cash for release.
