    Thanks for the intel YK.

Good news is that the new report showed direct statements from the President.

The President said in the reports, international flights will be open in September. However, he did not say which day.

Cartagena will be the first city with international flights

At least according to this report:

    Contresena.

It's also what they will have the first few weeks after hitting 18 years old and waiting for their first official cedula. Which they will "lose" shortly thereafter apparently not understanding the importance it carries with regard to visiting gringos in hotels and apartments.

    Late October.

    Is Colombia Open or not

I just got off the phone with Spirit airlines for the flight I booked from South Florida to Cartagena for the end of September. I explicitly asked the rep what the requirements were for entering the country as well if the flight is still going to happen and she told me I need a negative COVID test. No more than 72 hours and that the flight was still going. Now I'm confused because some of you are saying Colombia might be closed until October. Anyone have any sources they can cite?

    Cartagena

Wow, thanks for sharing that video. I had a great time in that city in January. Alive and fun in so many ways. Complete lockdown for so many months, yet virus cases continue to climb.

Plan will be revealed shortly my contact days best to wait till late October or November.

Don't shoot the messenger. I've been posting about Cartagena for years now including regular reports on my visits. It was a great place to visit. Now its a ghost town and it will take time to recover.

I'm not scaring anyone. I'm letting you know you are going to the wrong place if you are looking for pussy in Colombia. Cartagena will take a while to recover. You will find many of the social distancing rules to get in the way of this hobby. You need to remember patient zero is believed to have been an Italian woman in Cartagena. They're going to lock that shit down.

MANY businesses have permanently shut down in that city. Restaurants and clubs that have been around for over a decade or more.

Don't take it personally, every time I posted a report I would get messages asking the same thing. I just stopped responding after a while.

But MojoBandit is right. If some folks want to go there first and tell us how amazing it is go ahead. I'm lucky. I got out of Colombia just a few days before they shut down air travel (and yes I was in Cartagena). I'm going to keep doing the same thing I started doing in March. I'm going to continue investing in value stock picks and wait the year out. Maybe by next summer things will improve but I'm not going until either I get a vaccine shot like the flu shot, or SARS-COV-2 becomes far less lethal.

It's the law. You rent a place as a tourist and everyone checking in has to have ID. It's an actual law to make sure only people who have legal residence can stay in those places. Have you ever been to Cartagena?
Instead of arguing with people who want to rush in. Just think of them as canaries in a coal mine.
