At least she is not entirely untruthful. Shams does mean "Sun"! However, I would guess that she is from Azerbaijan or some other former Soviet state rather than any arabic country. Did you notice her nationbality on her passport?

I notice another suggestion is that you will find African or PI girls more reliable whilst PRC and EE girls are harder work. Don’t pay first and if she can’t accept that tell her to bounce. The girls do that so they can offer poor performance. When you get your car fixed do you pay the mechanic first? Or offer half now and the rest after the deal is done.

I was in Kasbah Club with a visiting pool-playing and work pal on Friday night, from around 11:30pm to 1:30am. I read the Dubai and AD thread for the informative FR by you and others like WR, Piper1, Steamer33 etc but also because of the camaraderie reflected in the reports and the assistance extended to a fellow ISG.

I hope the new visa ruling is not going to change the mongering scene too drastically.

I agree - Steve's reports are always good fun, and he puts the reader in the driver's seat.

As for visa rules, someone 'in the know' told me last night there will be some loop-holes, but essentially it means less WGs, prices will go up in general, and there will be higher turn-over and constant new faces. The new dynamics will be interesting.

As the curtain draws to a close on another year of bachelor freedom, I can say that this has been even better than past years – I’ve taken a girl every night I’ve been out, 100% PRC, with unexpected surprises about people you think you know, until you meet them after the sun sets when Bur Dubai comes alive.

quick walking tour last night to show a new pal in town a few of the main bars:

rock bottom at regent palace hotel around 8pm for a few games of pool and a bite to eat. it seems to be a new venue for filipina semi-pros or freebies - not sure. about 15 of them sitting in the pool room, more arriving as we left at 930pm.

jockeys bar in panorama hotel. almost all african and chinese. no gems. stuffy crowded and hot small room. as usual, got out of there without finishing the drink.

music room in majestic hotel across the road, around 10:30pm - just for pool and band nowadays? no wgs in sight.

rumors at ramada - doormen insisted on entry fee (40aed incl drink), but wouldn't let us have a peek inside first. from experience, not worth it, so we walked on to ...

imperial suites hotel. doormen wanted 50 aed entry fee (no drink included). we debated and didn't budge, and eventually the manager sitting nearby told them to let us in. big thank you and handshake to him. on entry they have a large plastic tub with cold rolled towels in ice - much needed and felt great. nice touch. the main bar full of african and chinese with a handful of uzbekis - some cuties from all three 'nationalities'. not crowded, aircon was great. pumping philipino band. much better quality girls than york, but smaller selection. relaxed atmosphere (well, it was saturday night - a week night in dubai). the second bar is newly-renovated and had a russian band - not bad. also a separate pool room bar - empty. will visit imperial suites again soon.

regal hotel around 1130pm same doorman from the other night remembered me, laughed and waved us through, saying "yellah" (hurry/get going). same 30-40 girls as a few nights ago. not crowded. still one of the better places for cis girls. again a cis girl told me in her cis accent that she is iranian. this is happening more and more recently. i told her i'm jamaican and excused myself, and pal and i left for ...

york hotel around 12:30am to play more pool and look around. no entry fee, and usual good mix - someone for everyone. a little crowded, but always a relaxed atmosphere on week nights.

rattlesnake at 2:00am. 50aed entry fee including a drink. quiet inside - only about 15-20 wgs - all cis - some asian cis. no sign of french canadia's thieving girl, marina. but the short plump madam who stands near the door became very nervous when i asked, and kept a close watch on me until closing time as i walked around. only about 10 guys in there (it was late). luckily, i bumped into an old favorite from 2 years ago on arrival (goldie) whose number i had lost. she recognised me as we were at the entry line. she used to have long golden shirley-temple locks, but had bleached her hair, so i didn't recognize her from behind (plus she has stacked on some weight). fun girl, so we chatted and i took her number. apart from her, a few cuties, but a bit of a drab atmosphere. all kicked out early, at 2:45am, and off home for some beauty sleep.

The last week has found my motivation for hunting around in negative territory – and as long as Lisa2 is delivering her entertainment (both fun and adult) I see no reason to play the field and risk losing what I have for a new adventure with all the pitfalls / disappointments that can come along with it.

A few incidents to report over the last week:

During the week, Lisa2 sends me a text “I know you like my sister” – and I’m lost what she is trying to say – is this another mind game she’s trying on here? An exchange of text’s and she claims I’ve taken her sister – I’m skeptical about this as Lisa2 won’t tell me her name /number or which bar I “met” her so that I can verify her story. She tells me they don’t get on very well and they have not really spoken for about 2 months – claiming her sister was trying to take first shot at any reasonable guy that would come into the bar.

She is particularly upset as I have apparently sent her one or more messages even though I’ve been with Lisa2. I know this is b******t so I let her look at the numbers I’ve got stored in my phone and she see’s her sister’s number is not there. I let her know that it is possible I’ve taken her sister (whoever she is) but the message story is a wind-up from her sister, given I don’t have her number. She then tells me who it is and my god…….its PRCYaya…..the girl I took before and the one that Almaty brought to our table on Thursday evening in Seaview……

Any lingering doubts were completely cleared up when a few nights later in the Seaview Tubs expressed an interest to see her sister, so Lisa2 went and told her (PRCYaya) to come over, confirming her sisterhood status.

Friday evening in the York – its 1.30am – and the place is packed. Would guess 50%F / 50% M – but for some strange reason most of the guys are all around the dance floor area. An argument breaks out between two guys and for a second I thought a punch up was about to break out, but somehow defused by the surrounding people. The bouncer that gives Lisa2 a hard time comes up for the third time tonight and I cannot hold myself any longer – and lay into him as to what is his problem. He increases his body size in a threatening manner, (as bouncers do) and tries to tell me its not my business – oh yes it is if your picking on my girl and stand up to his face. I’m ready for him just to push me and I’m prepared to take it all the way – when Lisa2 and her friend pull me away a little. I point a finger at the guys face and tell him she’s not doing anything wrong so leave her alone.

He leaves and I call for the manager to explain what happened, as I am concerned that he will just give Lisa2 a harder time next week. He apologizes and I tell Lisa2 to call this manager if she has any more problems with the bouncer.

For me, I do not want to visit the York again (although market forces may oblige me to do so next year) – and will prefer to spend time at the Seaview, as IMO, better band, more relaxed in terms of GFE from the bouncers (able to put your arm around waist, kiss on cheek, etc) and does not have that “meat market” atmosphere the York has.

Saturday evening in the Seaview and two very cute PI girls in their group of 6, wearing nice short denim skirts – have not seen them before. Place was about 50% full – good ratio 70% F / 30% M – and probably stayed that way most of the night. Lisa2 gets me on the dance floor and I must have been 1 of 3 guys amongst 15 or so girls dancing – that’s the atmosphere I’m looking for!!

We are back at the table and she points to another PRC girl and tells me this is her friend and she knows I have been with her – I look over and cannot recall taking her at all – but she is one hot girl – and I thought it was only their names I had a habit of forgetting – but their faces as well? – I must be getting old!!
