Hey Elvis FYI they have that same boat experience in Cancun at the Aquaworld. So if you go next time and want to try it without having to go to Xcaret.

Sorry that Xcaret let you down some. The Seatrek is a little boring. But at least it's an experience you won't due anywhere else. Can't believe she lost her phone in the river and you where able to find it.

Not that it matters but the second half of the show is much better. They have singing and it's a lot more of a party. Don't blame you for leaving early as it's a long day in that park and it can drain you.

The food is odd as each restaurant has different food. I remember the first time we went we took a bus tour in and the guide on the bus gave us a heads up what restaurant was the best to eat at. I think Dos Playas was the name. It had great seafood.

What a great surprise for the drive to Tulum from your girl.

In the morning we have to check out and she has to login to take a class. Xcaret is booked for today and located in Playa del Carmen. We manage to get a hot session in during the morning, but it is her time of the month. I didn't care as I'm horny, but she was concerned of the smell. The Seatrek was interesting, but going 20 ft. Below the surface caused extreme pain in my left ear as the pressure felt like someone stabbed my eardrum with a screwdriver. I couldn't blow my nose as the helmet would lose pressure and just dealt with it for the 20-30 minute walk. I would give it a pass, but the regular loved it and she also had pain in her ear from the pressure. The interesting part of the park was swimming in the underground River. It was an hour or more of floating and swimming, but I could feel pain in my left knee from so much frog kicking down the river. About 3/4 of the way to the end of the river the regular figures out she dropped her iPhone..

That is how you do it, KB! Get rid of the fucking booze and show the woman a good time, and she will be eating out of your hand or sucking your dick in the car.

Tulum is way more than PDC price wise, and I think offers very little for staying there. Like you, I always rent a car. But I usually stay in an Airbnb at PDC and drive to Tulum if I want to visit. BTW, Playacar offers very little over PDC. The construction on the road between PDC and Cancun sucks, but it is nonexistent if you leave very early in the AM like around 6 or 7 AM.

The Tulum Ruins are an interesting 2 hour trek, and it is fun renting and riding a bike around the ruins area and beach. The beaches in Tulum would be my favorite in Mexico if not for the seaweed.

I would bag Xelha and do Xplor. Xel Ha is much the same as Xcaret while Xplor has zip lines and a cool jeep tour you can drive.

But the best, cheapest, and most fun things to do are the cenotes. Go to the Tulum ruins in the morning and walk around and get hot and then head to Cenote Dos Ojos. The beauty of that cenote will get her pussy dripping.

In the morning, go to Cenote azul before the crowds. You can have your own fish therapy for free as the fish will come right up to your feet and chew off the dead skin as long as the place is not overly crowded as it always seems to get these days. Then do the 3. 5 meter dive into the water. If my old ass can do it, yours can too. Again, this place is so fun it will have her pussy dripping.

Do a day at Xplor and if you are still interested in scoring with your chick, take her to Cirque Du Soleil however this is right where the construction site is so you have to plan way in advance time wise. The dinner at Cirque is phenomenal but expensive.

If you do not want to do Cirque, I would suggest a walk down Quinta Avenida in PDC. There is always fun drink and food to be had there. I have always had a great time at Senior Frog's.

The best Mexican restaurant in PDC is El Fogon. It is not off Quinta Avenida but Constitutiones. The portions are huge and cheap, and it is always crowded. Don Sirloin is a good alternative if El Fogon is too busy as it is practically next door.

You are doing the Cancun area right. It is a place where you bring a chick in from another region. With this trip, you brought one. In the future, maybe bring two or in my case I topped out at three. I will never forget having a foursome every fucking night. That was an epic trip. Good luck, man. It has been fun reading about your trip.

We made it to Xcaret, but would suggest staying in PDC next time if you decide to go to this park as it was more than an hour drive. It is a huge park and she wanted to do the Seatrek. We get our wrist bands and head out to eat as we were starving. The food at the park is decent, but not great and the first buffet is free with the admission. I purchased the special on their website for 2 parks at 25% off admission.

We go do the various activities that range from a zoo, snorkeling, SeaTrek, and various shows. The Seatrek was interesting, but going 20 ft. We go to eat before the final show at 7 pm and she manages to drop her phone like it is a bowling ball and shatter one of the camera lenses. I told her she should get a case as she is so clumsy with things. The buffet near the front entrance is better than the other buffet closer to the beach. We had to pay $30 for each meal, but not bad considering they are buffets. The final show at night was ok, but we both managed to fall asleep and decided to leave at the first intermission. We got back in the rental car and headed to Tulum Airbnb. She was satisfied with the park and thanked me for the great time. As we get on the freeway she tells me she wants to surprise me and I'm asking what is the surprise. She starts moving things form the center console and I'm think BBBJ? Yep, she sure did and had my take my shorts down while I'm driving to Tulum. It was so good I had to pull over and turn the car off on the side of the freeway. I put the seat back and finished in her mouth. She spit it out on the side of the freeway and off we go headed to Tulum. I felt tired after and so did she, but managed to get to Tulum without falling asleep and surprised by how many restaurants and bars are on the beach.

The Airbnb is located on the beach near Rosa Negra and the Airbnb doesn't have parking so had to pay 500 peso for overnight parking. The Airbnb is on the top floor with a palapa roof which seemed to have holes since I could feel mosquitos eating me alive and the A/C didn't work. We walk around and she wants to get a dress and some clothes. I said sure and she managed to find something nice to wear for the night out since it seems Tulum is full of clothing stores, restaurants, and bars.

We go eat at Rosa Negra and a large group from I think Israel were dancing on top of their chairs to the music. I couldn't decipher the language, but it wasn't any language I've heard before. They looked like they were having blast. The regular seems out of it again with a 1,000 mile stare. I go to the restroom and a guy is trying to sell me ecstasy, but I didn't want to get caught up so told the regular about it but she didn't want to buy it either. The food was good, but expensive as the bill came out to $100 with just a couple of mixed drinks and 3 appetizers.

We walk back and she wants to take photos at the various bars and restaurants. We get back to the Airbnb and she dresses in lingerie and does a little dance and performance for me. Another hot session and off to sleep.

We are probably going to skip Isla Mujeres as it will probably just be another beach.

Yes, it is but there is a helluva lot less seaweed on it. And you get great views. I enjoyed Isla Mujeres but a day there is definitely enough.

Thanks for the day 1 report. Can't believe you almost missed the plane when you were already inside just eating. The period thing is interesting as well since when I went last year the girl I was going with said the same thing. So I'll be interested to see what happens. The taxis are crazy in Cancun from the overpriced guys at the airport to the ones in the hotel zone. I didn't mention it before but for those that read this the bus is the best option to travel in Cancun. Cost is cheap and they are always driving by so the wai is minimal.

Well Coco Bongo has really changed or they took advantage of you. Again it doesn't matter now since it's done with but again for those that read this and plan on going I wouldn't do anything online. Get to the club before it opens when everyone is starting to get in line and go thom the front and ask to talk to the captain. He's in charge of the waiters. Tell him you want to buy a bottle and get a table. He'll tell you the price and will walk you in. Thank him and give him a nice tip. Just imagine the scene from "Goodfellas" when they go to the Copa and he tips everyone. That's how you do it and you will be taken care of. So you seemed to have a good time and your girl was popular. Glad you not the crazy jealous type because it's a club and guys do dumb stuff. I was drunk in Coco Bongo the first time I went with my ex and I had to climb up those stairs to get to our table at the top and kind of stumbled onto a Mexican guy and he actually hit me. LOL. I was so drunk it just confused me and continued on my way with the help of my waiter.

Well look forward to the rest of your travels especially since you said you reserved Xcaret? I guess your just use to doing things online. Hopefully you didn't get taken advantage of again.

Sorry for the long winded posts, but I do my trip report based on what I can recall and also for my personal recollection as it is hard to recall the events from the past. I made my way to the Tijuana airport via CBX in Otay and it was a decent, but long walk. I made it into the terminal without incident and went to eat at VIPS waiting for a bar girl I met at HK over the summer. She is going to school and was debating on whether to live in Tijuana or Guadalajara during her final year of school. She is one of my favorites to hang out with regularly outside of the bars. As usual, she is always late. Our boarding time is 1030 pm and she arrives in the terminal at 1020 pm meeting me at VIPS. Thank goodness I ordered the food as it took them 15-20 min to prepare it. We eat and catch up on what she has been up to and pay the bill. She likes cheesecake, but we have to wait for it to arrive. It is around 1050 now and takeoff is at 1110. We got to the gate at 1100 and the gate agent looked shocked as the gate closed, but she was able to get them to let us on board. We were those people that held up the plane as I'm sure they wanted to take off early.

We're thankful we didn't miss the flight out of TIJ and get comfortable. The Vivaaerobus flight was 50% full, but somehow people managed to take our seats so we sat in one of the many vacant rows. During the flight she makes it feel like we are long lost lovers by DFK, hand holding, etc. She even fell a sleep in my lap for a while. She tells me it is her first day of her period and I thought to myself, well that makes it interesting. We landed and the people located at the arrivals kept yelling taxi, English?, etc. I told them I had a rental car lined up and they left me alone. Outside we met a guy that stated our rental company isn't open until 8 am when we reserved the car for 6 am. We landed at 5 am and I've traveled often and know the people lie all the time to try and get you into an overpriced airport taxi. My regular is Mexican and actually believed the guy, but I called and had her talk to the rental car company since I have limited Spanish.

Eventually the shuttle arrives and we are off to the rental car agency (MAS) which is apparently also known as Mexican Rental car agency. We get a Kia Rio and the guy takes forever filling out all of the required forms. The drive to hotel zone in Cancun was unique as the roads are horrible. The Airbnb we reserved is decent right across from RUI and located in a shopping complex. It is a 2 br with kitchen, living room, and bathroom. It seems decent for what we need as I just need WiFi and AC. We take a much needed nap as the red eye flight was brutal, but made it better sitting next to a hot chica. We eventually wake up as she has to dial in for a video call for her class and I try to figure out what activities we should do. She suggests Coco Bongo show. Also reserved Xcaret and Xel ha based on recommendations here.

So the day goes on and we go to eat at Mextreme and the food was just ok, but not great. We ordered some margaritas and a guy walks out balancing them on his head. In order for you to be able to grab your drink you have to give a little dance and then you can grab it off his head. My regular gets up and does a dance and I see people just popping out their cellphones to take photos and video. It was funny as I told her she has many fans. After eating, we went to the local flea markets to get her a bikini and water shoes since she didn't have any. We got back to the room to change and walk around. I booked the gold seats for CocoBongo later that night. We went to the beach at around 730 pm and the sun already set. The show starts seating around 830 pm so we had to make the hike back to the Airbnb condo and get something to eat. We went to Wings Army for a chicken sandwich and fries which were decent, but not that great. We got a taxi for 200 peso for less than. 5 miles away as we were running out of time.

We got back to the condo and changed for Coco Bongo and then took a cab to the club. No line as we arrived at 9 pm and most of the seats were occupied. The mesero escorted us to a small bar top, but said if we wanted better seats, then we would have to get a bottle. I said sure and he took us to the area on first floor with tables on side of main standing room. Apparently this is the VIP area that costs $1 k per table. We got a bottle of Buchanan whiskey and it was an extra $290 on top of the $232 we paid for the Gold seats. The show started and we were next to a group of 3 chicas that were dancing and seemed to be drunk, but they didn't have bottle service, so maybe provided the table just for entertainment.

At the beginning of the show, a staff member found the regular I was with and asked if she wanted to be a part of the beetle juice show and she got taken by her hand to the top floor and disappeared. She reappeared with beetle juice and was dancing for him and was on the big screens. She was giving everyone a good show. She came back and said they asked if she would be apart of another act and she said she would think about it. During the night a guy from Germany came over and introduced himself and he seemed wasted, but I could understand the conversation as it was in English and the regular not being rude entertained the conversation, but said she was with me and I'm her boyfriend, which was new to me, but funny to hear.

The table next to us was a group of Mexican guys and one came over to chat with her, but it was all in Spanish and I didn't understand anything they were saying, but one of the guys friends wrangled him up and gave me a thumbs up. I feel bad for them as I notice a bunch of Mexican dudes at all of the clubs and most of the foreigners taking the chicas out to these clubs and restaurants. The second or last show she got escorted back to the top of the main stage and she was front and center dancing and performing. I found it amusing that they had so many hot woman from all over the world (blondes, Canadians, Brazilians, Colombians, Venezuelans, etc.), but they picked her out of all the woman to go on stage. I am normally a low key guy and they kept panning the camera for the big screen our way as the regular was dancing with the three hot chicas next to us. I wanted to ask where they were from, but the regular is already jealous as she kept thinking someone was calling me, when it was the GPS displaying directions on the car radio screen.

She was wasted and I was hungry so we headed to a taco shop called Peppers tacos which was not expensive, but tacos were tiny. The group of Mexican guys sat at the next table and the German guy came out of nowhere and kissed the regulars hand. I saw she had a distant look and she always seems that way when she is drunk like a 1,000 mile stare. I ask if everything is cool and she said she is fine, but drunk. A Banda band was next to us and she wanted them to play a song and the request would cost 500 peso. I'm not sure if they played her song, but they didn't take her money and she knew everyone they played. It sounds like sad music, so not sure if that is why her mood changed.

We finished our meal and headed down the alley to a group of guys trying to get us to a strip club located on second floor, not sure if it was Manhattan club, but it was expensive. They wanted 750 peso for cover and then 220 peso for 2 Coronas. She gets jealous so not sure why she agreed to go into the club as I repeatedly asked if she really wanted to go. We took a couple of sips of the beer and then left as the club was kind of boring. She wanted to head back to the taco shop and listen to Banda. I was full and didn't want anymore food or drinks. The table next to us had some drunk ladies and they offered me a drink, but I said I'm good and wasn't feeling it. It is hard enough with a language barrier and a chica that keeps getting hit on by various bros.

She still seemed distant so I suggested I take a cab back to the Airbnb condo and she could get a cab later once she is finished. She told me not to leave and that everything was fine even though her facial expression seemed distant. She was chatting with the ladies and not sure what they were talking about, but they seemed friendly and kept offering drinks, food, etc. , but I was done for the night. She eventually finishes and we try to get a cab for the. 5 mile trip back to hotel and told them $10, but they said minimum $15. I said ok and kept walking while the regular was in her 6" heels. She eventually takes them off and is walking barefoot. I try to get another cab for $10 and they said $15 so we just kept walking. She needed to use the restroom and decided to pee in front of a parked car.

As we were walking back I asked what was up and she said everything with me is good and I asked is it something else and forget she doesn't have a good grasp of English. We walked the rest of the way back to the Airbnb and she said she wouldn't do this for anyone else, but doesn't want to pay the taxis their inflated prices. I was ready to shell extra $5, but she isn't going for it. We get back to the room and she passes out on the bed. I sleep in another room as another incident happened in a previous visit where we both downed a whole bottle of Don Julio 70, but she didn't recall what happened the night before. I had to remind her of the events and I don't want to take advantage of her while she is out of it.

We're off tonight from the airport and should touch down tomorrow early morning. Just hope the policia don't hassle me in the rental.

Specifically, the view of the harbor at night. The girl absolutely loved it, and I was rewarded handsomely for it. The suite itself was great. It's big, like 750 sqft. It has 1.5 bathrooms (1 shower, 2 toilets), which I never quite appreciated in a hotel room until now. The main thing it had was plenty of surfaces other than the bed to have sex on, since I'm one of those guys that can't get a good night's sleep in a bed he's had sex in. It's everything you would expect from a Marriott, with the benefit of that a $5 tip to the cleaning staff gets you basically anything extra that you want for your room, without it being logged by the front desk. I slipped one of the cleaning ladies a $5 bill and took a couple sets of towels, extra set of sheets and toiletries off her cart.

The other thing I really liked besides the more grown-up adult nightlife there was that it's literally attached to a shopping plaza, and it's right next to downtown and right off the highway so you don't have to slog through the whole Zona Hotelera. It made my two days there so much more convenient. We went to Montemar for dinner the last night, and for whatever reason, I decided that I wanted to buy a dress shirt and get here a little cocktail dress, and we were able to get both while we were out to lunch in the shopping center.

Also, I don't know if it was just a thing about when we went, but there was no interest in the Jacuzzy / Spa from other guests, and we were able to book it to ourselves and overstay our time by at least an hour. It has a great look and a nice view of the city. She took a bunch of pictures there and videos there to show off on WA.

I like this place, but you know your girl a bit better. If you want to build an experience, the Ritz Carlton is going to be hard to beat in terms of basically anything, other than possibly value for the money. This place though- and the marina as a whole, are a hidden gem IMO.

I also booked a place recently in Rosarito and the condo had 5-6 jacuzzis and 2 pools that no one was using so the regular I went with had fun. She probably wanted to relax, but me being a perv wanted kinky fun. I'm sure the cleaning lady would have probably changed the bedsheets for $10-$20 and you'd be set. Sounds like you had fun with the Colombian. I do the same and treat the girls right if they deliver me a mind blowing experience. Amazing what out of this world sex does to our brains. What did you like about the Renaissance? I'm about to book it for last night. I have a bunch of bonvoy points and can get Ritz Carlton for about 15 k more points. I might just pay the $140 a night, but looking at photos it doesn't look to be directly on beach. They normally upgrade me since I have status with Marriott, but just want to figure out why you recommend it. We plan to go to Coco Bongo as well. Thanks!

Akumal is just what you are looking for. Right off the highway, shallow reef, no stupid vest wearing tour required, turtles and a great restaurant. Could be a half day deal.

I want to see Playa Norte since it is supposedly one of the top 20 beaches in the world, but I've been to Hawaii and Thailand, so not sure how it compares. I really just want to find a shallow reef like in Maui and just snorkel and see exotic coral and fish. If isla mujeres isn't recommended, then I'll just skip it. We plan to see Coco Bongo and play everything else based on energy level as she usually drains me every time we see each other.

I doubt you'll find the beaches any better than Hawaii or Thailand, but it is always nice to have sex in the ocean.

Well first off 4 days is pretty limited to do very much especially since you already have time planned at Isla Mujeres and Tulum. Also depends on when you fly into Cancun and you leave if those are extra days or added to your trip.

First I'm still confused on what you or your girl plan to find at Isla Mujeres. It's very small and not much to do. If you do go I would just take a boat over early in the day like 8 or 9 and you could spend half the day on the island and see what you want. That would give you time to come back in the early afternoon and still have time to do other stuff. I wouldn't recommend the all day trips they try to sell you since you will feel trapped after awhile.

So if you want to snorkel you have a few options. While in Tulum you could go snorkeling. I did that last year. They had a small reef they took us to and was ok but not great. They have lots of snorkeling tours in Cancun. I always preferred one they had that you drove your own little boat out to a reef and you snorkeled. To me it was like 2 for 1. Cozumel is very popular for diving I don't know about snorkeling.

Now Cancun has lots of other activities. Especially if you like zip lines and such. You might find a tour that goes to a cenote and zip line on the same tour. I always go to Xcaret it's a huge park with lots of animals, activities and a great show at the end of the night. It's an all day adventure but we'll worth it. They have another park like that Xel Ha that is mostly water activities that is popular as well. Those places are closer to Tulum so you could maybe swing visiting while on your way.

I went parasailing last time and it was just ok. I prefer activities not just sitting in the air. They have a dinner and pirate show that is fun. They have a cool boat that goes pretty fast and does 360 spins, jet skis. You will probably have more that you want to do than you have time for.

Good snorkeling at Akumal with a great Mex restaurant right on the beach. Cenotes Eden and Azul nearby. I'll be doing these next month on my third trip to PDC which rocks.

Renaissance Marriot over by the Marina is amazing. I ran into a Colombian girl at the Cocobongo, and after hooking up and drinking in my room she complained that she wasn't able to get any good pictures from her hotel room because it didn't have a view. I canceled the rest of my stay at the Aloft, and booked the Junior Suite at the Marriot for 2 days with rewards miles. Still unsure whether she was Visa hunting or whatever, but she seemed to genuinely like everything about it.

The Marina has a more grown-up-less-party atmosphere than the other tourist parts of that Hotel Zone. I rented a car just like you, and loved everything about this place.

What did you like about the Renaissance? I'm about to book it for last night. I have a bunch of bonvoy points and can get Ritz Carlton for about 15 k more points. I might just pay the $140 a night, but looking at photos it doesn't look to be directly on beach. They normally upgrade me since I have status with Marriott, but just want to figure out why you recommend it. We plan to go to Coco Bongo as well. Thanks!
