(please do not send me links of the two Americans who were killed ect ect. Statistically speaking Americans are way less likely to get killed in Mexico than at home).

Cancun and Playa del Carmen are a tough place for our hobby. Most of the legit working gals are there for an extended vacation, with another girl or two, making money as an outcall girl while there. They advertise online for a week and then are gone the rest of the year. It is hard logistically to get these girls unless you had followed them on Instagram for 6 months prior...

Are you seriously not able to find anything in Playa? And do you seriously expect to undercut the price in this tourist place Every time I'd walked the main pedestrian street, I was being asked if I wanted a girl. And every time entrance was a stone's throw away, into a non-descript doorway and up the stairwell where there'd be one, two, or sometimes three, all generally past their prime, and all 2 k. After several days of repeatedly telling them flaca, 19 anos, I finally got hooked up, and yes it was 2 k. Worth it for the high quality and convenience. Otherwise, if you're here for any length of time, better get involved in the nightlife and put yourself in play.

The websites in the area have been known to get no responses or be these fake scam girls that you encountered. It is possible to find some but it will take time and you will have to block the scammers.

Cancun- has a small zona de tolerancia type area, but it is not what most guys on here are looking for. There are strip clubs in the city area, but they aren't cheap.

Playa del Carmen- I think most of the strip clubs have closed down that offered service, but man it was expensive anyways.

As far as the criminal groups (cartels) specifics, if you care (seems you do), the Plaza (area) is still officially owned by LOS Pelones (baldies / shaved heads). This now runs from Cancun to Tulum (main tourist area along coast). The local drug sales and extortion market is lucrative in the area. Businesses pay a tax to the criminal group in charge of the Plaza for protection and as you see on the news every now and then a business is attacked or burnt for not paying.

If you walk down 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen the guys will hassle you to see if you want to buy drugs. If you decide to buy some (it is tolerated in this area for tourists) they will walk you into a legitimate business towards the back and *show you what they have and then quote you an astronomical price. These are businesses that cooperate and do not generally pay a tax. Their tax payment is being that they allow street level drug sales inside their establishment. There are a lot in Playa! Most of the guys selling on the street are ex con / deportees from the US who speak good English. They are useful in these scenarios and by no means are some full fledged tv style cartel members (you will never see one).

LOS Pelones is an independent cell who has jumped its allegiance around Mexico's underworld in order to get product and territory. It is now its own organization that has tried to lock down this area for some time.

Now, not to make you stress even more, but in 2019 the leader of the LOS Pelones was arrested for the murder of a Colombian woman. Stories vary but they essentially say he bought her and when she did not*cooperate with whatever he wanted he just killed her in a cocaine fueled rage instead. It was all over the news in Mexico and brought heat on the group.

With the heat on LOS Pelones the Cartel Jalisco NG, has again made a push to see if they can take over the Plaza again. They will fight a bit and then it will be calm as can be for a while. It is how it works.

Apparently cartels made regular biz owners pay them "taxes" could even independent girls be forced into paying this tax? That would affect my negotiation tactics if I end up going there. This is a common scam in Mexico. Trying to extort mongers for money. The pages / ads are fake. Often Instagram models. There was never that chica available.

Do not worry. Just block the number and move on. Its a scam tactic.

This is a common scam in Mexico. Trying to extort mongers for money. The pages / ads are fake. Often Instagram models. There was never that chica available.

Do not worry. Just block the number and move on. Its a scam tactic.

When I went to Mexico on vacation I always try to hook up with other tourists because it was easier since we are in the same hotel and they are usually hotter than your regular Mexican girl, anyway I only do pooning in Canada where I live because I found girls in Edmonton are too stuck up (and tha ratio between guys and girls at bars is like 70% guys and 30% girls terrible) however my buddies like to party like rock starts and want escorts to party with and shit. So I started to research the best way to get us hot girls, I got some nice tips from gentlemen in this forum (thank u) such as using tinder to get the young wannabe gold diggers or maybe even get a sugardady website membership, but also (since Spanish is my native language) I ventured myself in different Mexican escort sites and sites like mileroticos.com , so I ended finding few hot pieces there (they claimed to be independent and not working for an agency) and decided to whatsapp with them in advanced to ask if they had 2 cute girlfriends and also to be sent pix of the girls, I didn't even discuss prices with them yet, I just wanted to have solid numbers to contact to once we landed in Mexico, I might have been just a bit annoying by asking to be sent a selfie with a V sign just to make sure I am talking with the same pictures girl on the website. I probably contacted like 8 or 9 "independent" girls during one day and I got almost pix from all of them, however next day when I open my whatsapp I had a message from a mexican number I didn't know about and this one basically read "I got many complains from my girls that you are wasting their time and you cost us business, therefore I want you to pay me xxxxx in Mexican pesos using PayPal, and if you don't we are going to beat the shit out of you and put a bullet in your head", of course I read that and didn't answer, same number sent more texts threatening with more violence if there was no payment, again I didn't respond and later another Mexican number sent me a 2nd threatening message (this one claimed to be from the jalisco cartel). I was shocked to say the least, where on earth your going to get threats just because you are taking too much of a time of a prostitute by texting, I guess the answer is Mexico!

I did some basic internet research after that and it seems that actually the cartels are heavily involved in sex traficking in many parts of Mexico (including all Quintana roo), I started to think that is a very BAD idea to keep texting more callgirls because its very likely many of them work for the same pimp assholes who threatened me and I have decided I won't text them anymore asking questions (not even from another number I have), I also thought that even if we end up getting escorts in playa and I don't use my phone number anymore (to make any arrangement with the girl and my buddy uses his) I guess there is always a small chance that the pimp could know by regular chitchat with his girls that there are 3 guys from Canada that are getting services first week of December (and he might remember the texts he sent me and wonder if this could be the same guy who "bothered" his girls). I am at this moment trying to convince my buddies to ditch Mexico and go to Cuba or Dominican (good thing we got cancellation insurance from redtag) they still want to get hookers and do their shit with party at the clubs but they are slowly realizing that very likely the same guys who could arrange that for them are the same guys who sent me the threatening texts and I am telling my buds "you feel safe doing biz with a cartel member? What about if you get an issue with the girl?" so I am hoping they will eventually agree with me.

I guess if we still continue with playa del carmen trip and if they really want to get hookers and party they can do it but it would be safer for me to not participate in those specific activities (maybe while they are at cocobongo popping bottles, I could be at a pub on 5th avenue trying to chitchat with a cute tourist) so there is no chance that I will ever run into the sicarios that texted me. You guys think this is a viable plan if I decide to go to playa? Or I am being too paranoiac? Or is actually a good idea to go another country where hookers are not run by drug lords (I think Cuba is still safe in that sense, I don't know how the Dominican is). Any of you gentlemen ever been in a situation like mine (been threatened by text by "sicarios" because we were texting their girls too much)? From my basic google research there is a very good chance that real sicarios (from Jalisco cartel) texted me and they are actually controlling ALL the girls (not only the agencies) and that fucking scares the shit out of me since they obviously don't care scaring a potential tourist customer. I am still more leaning to go to another country but if I end up going to playa I think this might be my last time (too bad since I always had great hookups with tourists in Cancun or playa) lets hope is not that difficult for redtag to switch our vacation. It seems things in Mexico are getting out of control so for all the pooners in that country be very cautious, I am writing this from Canada but still feeling shocked because of the texts, if I had received the texts when I was arriving in Mexico I would have been panicking and probably wouldn't leave the hotel-resort. I don't login here often but I'll do my best to log in tomorrow if you guys have questions, feel free to share your experiences as well so more pooners who might be heading to playa know what really is going on there. The tourist based farmacias will rip you off for sure. Price and maybe fake products. Google up Farmacias del Ahhoro. It is a nationwide chain that has great prices and always legit.

Now they will not sell some things that may actually need a prescription in Mexico but you can get generic cialis and viagra super cheap.

If you are trying to get other things like Valium ect then you do have to resort to a tourist pharmacy (big signs outside advertising sketchy stuff). Itll be overpriced and maybe expired, but they do not ask for a script.

Yes. I was there a few months ago, it's advertised at all of the pharmacies on and off Quinta Avenida. No prescription needed. I Never checked the price, I would guess it would be cheaper. Good luck.

Yup. Although I don't know what the current extortion climate is like in Cancun (was last there 10 yrs ago) I got pulled over 3 times in the same night and each cop extorted $50 out of me. (1 was an illegal UTurn looking for Mary's or one of those places) with AK at chest level. Was a harrowing night. Cancun, PDC. Etc. Etc is not a good area to go to by yourself. Love the Caribbean so wanted to base my trip about fun and sun with the potential for some late night action. Aside from some fun during the day, the night time prowling was a total bust. Actually, I'm still searching for Shangri-La; a place with nice beaches, maybe golf, and good mongering at night. Been all over the place and can't seem to find the entire package. But in my opinion, when you're a monger that travels a lot, there are certain nuances of the game you appreciate and makes it hard to justify certain location as a "must visit."

PDC is not worth visiting. This is not an ideal monger location. I would save my cash and go somewhere else more deserving.

The police extortion here is abysmal too. Three time they to get money from me. Lucky I had nothing on me and they eventually left me alone but my God, it's just sad. You would think they would treat visiting nationals a little better and make it more comfortable for them but people got mouths to feed and I get it but not with my money.

If you want to take a trip with your family / wife and you plan to stay at a all inclusive resort with a shuttle that will take you from different excursions, then this is a good option.

But If you want all that plus good mongering action, I would strongly encourage for you to look at other places that have everything you want first.

But with every experience YMMV. Hopefully this helped.

I just arrived in PDC on a 2 month stay. Pleasure palace was raided I'm reading and seems like 0 massage scene.

I have messaged all the girls on mileeroticos but for some reason it's very rare to find a girl who will go to your apartment. They always say to visit them or get a motel which I don't feel safe doing either. In the case they will go to your apartment they charge basically 700 more pesos for that. Anyone able to testify if it's ok to visit? I'm desperate for some action!

Hope the situation improves. And soon! I am going to PDC-Yucatan Peninsula Oct. 5. I will follow the good advice here and see where it gets me. LOL.
