Adelita may be the oldest putas bar in La Zona. No other bar claims to be that old.

I visited Tijuana in mid 80's. Revo near the arc was just a dirt road with chickens running and quacking. Walked past a few bars with music and dirty blankets covering doors, suspected there were girls but was afraid to go in, until 2000 with reports about Chicago Club. Unfortunately a few of the original Adelitas from 1962 may be still trying to sell sex in the darkened bar. J / K.

I was in Adelita Saturday around 10 PM. A stripper was on stage, chunky, not too hot. Nobody was watching or tipping the stripper. There was only 1 spinner near the entrance whom I would take to bed, but she did not look any better than the top 25 percentile street girls. The rest were pretty old and flabby. The bar had a dozen guys, sitting quietly; girls were motionless, expressionless like plastic dolls. The atmosphere was boring, no fun. My wingmen would always want to leave and go back to HK.

In contrast HK on weekends was very exciting, fun and sexy with lots of hot, new young girls, some very nice, fresh, pretty, smiling, wholesome-looking. I have to go down on weekend for those new girls. Let me know when you guys go down. Would be fun to party with you.

While looking at Adelitas while eating at their new restaurant across the street, I noticed that they had a running ad that they've been opened since 1962.

It would have been interesting to visit the bar back in the 60's when Adelitas was surrounded by a big dirt lot.

I was the first time in Adelita something 20 years ago. It was just an ordinary simple bar and table and they played only Mexican music. Hong Kong was even smaller than Adelita. When I was in the mid-1980's on Avenida Revolucion, I did not even know that Zona Norte exists. It was only when the Internet started that these clubs became popular. You have combinations: information on Internet, illegal prostitution in the US, customers from US with a lot of dollars and these two clubs Adelita and Hong Kong (only 10 min. taxi from border) have modernized and enlarged and now they are almost legendary on the west coast. BTW I was in Adelita on Saturday and the club was packed, and there was a lot of fun.

Friday night I saw this cute spinner dancing on stage named Josie? I think that's her name. It was very loud so I couldn't really get her name but she was adorable. She's always hanging out with another cute girl, and so I approached her asking her how much to Arriba. And she quoted me $90 USD, and I was like how much in Pesos. She said mil noviciento which is 1900, and I was thinking, how the fuck she going to quote me 1900 when she only said $90 usd so it didn't make any sense, but so I kept thinking she said mil dociento. So I was like "mil dociento?" because I couldn't hear her properly and quoting me a cheaper price in USD made no sense, so I wanted to confirm, so she kept quoting mil noviciento. And in my head I was doing the math. Most girls in Tijuana are pretty stupid when it comes to math and doing conversion rates. For example, girls that quote you $100 to go arriba will often quote 1500 pesos. But this *****, quoted $90 USD and 1900 Pesos. I was like, WTF. THis is the first time a ***** is either too dumb or obviously doesn't know math.

Sad thing was, this was my first trip to Tijuana where I actually only brought pesos and not USD. So $90 USD is about 1650 pesos if you factor in the exchange rate and other fees. So anyways she got annoyed that I kept trying to negotiate down to 1200 pesos even though I probably would've paid the 1900 pesos if she wasn't being a ***** and walking away.

You are probably right about her math skills. She walked away, but $90 is overpaying in AB anyway. Likely she saved you a few bucks.

I'd agree, especially factoring in value, when I lived in North SD County and was in the ZN regularly October 2015 - February 2016. Same for the 2 or 3 trips per year I've made since then. I always thought AB got a bad rap from a lot of the contributors and I had a lot of great girls here. Granted, it's only been good during weekend nights.

But since I've moved back in October, I've found AB girls to be too business-like and somewhat impersonal in the bedroom compared to HK girls. Whereas at HK, I'm basically assured GFE every time. The extra 10-20 dollars I pay the girl and 3-4 for the room are well worth the quality of the experience at HK. Maybe it's just been luck of the draw for me lately.

Completely agree the decline in AB is dramatic. Music, Service, Quality of girls and Atmosphere, is just not good now, way down, and I hate to say it, I use love the place. This is not even mentioning he rooms that has always been bad.

In some ways AB, reminds me of Colombia and I was not a big fan of Colombia, at all. Understand a lot of guys love it, but not for me at all, just my humble opinion.

For me HK is number one now, no comparison. Avoid the waiters, take advantage of the Coupons,(I Always Forget), rent a room the night, take the girls to Azuls, you just can not beat the experience. I also have to say the customer experience for me at HK, gets better every time I go. Security always, say Hello, some give me Hug, some of the front desk guys go out of there way to help me, no complaints.

I wouldn't say that. I would say that I was pleasantly surprised on Saturday night. I thought there were several very good looking women. Honestly, the only reason I went Sat night was to avoid a few chicas that I grew tired of at HK. Went to HK three consecutive nights and made a few too many friends. The girls were texting me "why were you with her?" So it was time to explore Adelitas and Chicago.

To me, they are different beasts. Depends on my mood. If I'm looking for more of a party or better selection, definitely going to HK. But Adelitas had a nice vibe. Meseros much more chill. And the girls there was much more interested in relaxing, though they all would have gone arriba in minutes.

I'll just say I was pleasantly surprised. And I won't hesitate to return.

3 years ago, I would have picked Adelitas over HK, every time, now it is just not that good, but you are correct Saturday is the best night. My friends like it. I rent a room at HK, so for me now I pretty much just hang out at HK. Also, now HK serves Gin, so all my problems are solved.

About 9 PM it had a stripper, a dozen girls sitting quietly at the bar, only 3 guys. The place was dead. The stripper looked hot, pretty face, lanky frame, long, strong legs. Her name was Tokyo.

I took the wigman back to check her out. Down to earth she did not look too hot. Her legs were long but skinny like most Mexican girls.

Not much was going on in Adelitas. We retreated to HK. It's hard to beat HK's fun, excitement and sexiness with dozens hot young girls wearing their sexy clothes and their "fuck me hard" smiles.

I was there Saturday night and had a blast. Spent good time with Natasha and I would recommend.

Enjoyed it enough to go back Sunday and Monday. Two girls of note.

First, the good. Met Nancy. Awesome girl. Arranged to meet off duty. Looks wise, she is attractive. Personality is great. Very interesting person to talk to.

Then the bizarre. Met Catalina from Durango. So, the girl is friendly, aggressive with her paws and not unattractive. Very talkative. Not really pushy with fichas. But the funny stories were just bizarre. She might need to work on her sales pitch though. Wanted arriba. I just wasn't interested. Then, she was just telling me her life. How she's better off after catching her boyfriend with someone else. And, how since working at Adelitas, she is healthier. She no longer has "many vaginal infections " that he gave her. LOL Then she went on to describe things I didn't want to hear. Check please!
