My time there was short so I did not get a chance to look around much, but I what I saw left me unimpressed. They do have a pretty cool war memorial site that I found somewhat intriguing. That should use up an hour of your time. LOL.
The second night I did meet the Filipina and she froze. She had never met a foreigner and truly did not know how to react even though we had agreed that she was to travel and stay with me. She had even worked out her cycle for me so I did not arrive at the wrong time of the month. She was a very nice lady, but had that doe in a headlight look the whole time we were together. We had a bite to eat and I sent her on her way home. We have spoken online since and she says she will stay with me if I come back, but that's not likely to happen.
Prices for a trike at the time were 8 pesos for a Filipino, and 40 pesos for a foreigner so it's not just Sophia on here that has a two tier pricing system.
Like Buko Max, my advice would be to BYOG if that is in any way an option.

Totally OT but.
I noticed you have only a handful of posts under "BukoMax", what was your previous I-D?

I am planning a short trip to Palawan and would appreciate some good basic information, I. E, good (g / f) hotel, bars of note, or other useful info.
Yes, I already researched the posts but they all seem very old.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Recently read of last years FL purge on Sabang's streets. Hopefully by now normalcy has returned to the FL bars and streets. I recently met a Gentlemen in AC who mentioned to me the beauty of Mindoro and copulation possibilities which await one. It is my intention to do a trip mid year.
Would it be possible for a local to post a current status report?

Thanks for the info. I read back on an old post too that there's almost no open pay for play action.
Sounds like one of those places that if you lived there, you would end up with someone really hot. And be really married. Good to keep in mind.
Thanks again.

I'll be doing a short trip to Iloilo for my first time Fri. 8 March for around 4-5 nights. I'll be on sort of an exploritory mission. Look around, see what this college vibe is about, maybe get a little trim hopefully, and check it out for a possible place to live. Sounds kind of nice, with good restaurants and Guimaras near by. Big enough city, must quite a few young ladies.
If anyone wants to hook up or has any tips, or even a lead on a semi furnished place it would be greatly appreciated.
I'll be sure to add a report.
Thanks

I've never been there, but thought about going a few times. If you've done any Internet research, you can see that the place seems to have some nice scenery and beaches. Apparently, it is several hours by bus from Davao. I was at the Davao port on my way to Talicud and there was a boat that apparently went to Mati port. I couldn't find out anything and the boat didn't seem to be going anywear on that day.
Maybe I've become to cynical, but someone relatively unknown writes a vague request for "places. For some action" and a few red flags go up. It might be best if you tell us a little bit about your situation (nothing personal of course) and maybe what you've already learned about the place. X.

First offence 1500php, second 3000pho, third 5000php. The fourth time you are caught it's a 10000php fine and it will cost you your PI license.
If you are riding in the province it's common for locals to go without a helmet. If you are on the road and you pass alot of bikes parked on the side of the road with the riders still on or around the bikes and not much seems to be going on. It means there's a check-point up ahead and they do not have proper helmets, paperwork or they are have a gun under the seat. Election season is in full swing and comelec check points are everywhere.
Good post Sam.
