I'm happy to report the freelancer scene in Harare is alive & kicking. I partied in Tipperary's for 4 nights, never going home alone.

Tipperary's is located at 54 Fife Avenue, close to the corner with Leopold Takawira Street. The location indicated by Google maps is totally wrong! Search for the above address instead.

On weekdays, I was obliged to buy a 1$ soft drink at the entrance. On weekends, the 5$ cover charge entitles you to 5$ worth of drinks. Beers cost 2$. Girls get in for free, any day of the week.

Tipperary's has a large outside garden, which wasn't a popular hangout on cold winter nights. They sell barbecued food in the garden (beef sausage & chicken, served with nshima). No cutlery is provided. In true African style, you eat with your hands.

Once inside, the bar with pool table is to the left. The disco is to the right. There are plenty of girls, any night of the week. However, the pickings are slim if you're into skinny girls. Big booty rules!

On my 1st night, I chatted with a white Zimbabwean monger, who told me the local rates were 10-20$ ST and 30-50$ LT, depending on the girl's popularity. For tourists, girls may ask for as much as 80$ LT. Zimbabwean girls aren't the least bit aggressive & will seldom approach you. It's up to you to make the 1st move.

Tipperary's was heaving on my 1st visit to Harare (Thursday-Saturday). When I returned to Harare on a Tuesday night, they had strip shows in the bar (separate 5$ consumable cover charge). The shows were great fun, and got better as the girls got drunk. The strippers also invited some guys on stage, and even tricked a guy into showing his dick. LOL A girl I'd taken home twice on my 1st visit to Harare threw a jealous tantrum as I ogled the strippers. Total mayhem & simply a blast!

I only visited Tipperary's, but heard other venues mentioned in old reports are still going strong as well:
- Chez Ntemba (Kopje Plaza)
- Londoners (Strathaven Shopping Center - watch out for pickpockets)
- Private Lounge (strip club at Holly's Hotel)

New places include Pariah in Avondale and 1+1 at Longcheng Plaza in Chinatown.

I have RTFF, but I'm finding it a bit difficult to get a picture of what the scene is like in Harare currently. I'll be there for work for a week shortly, and I'd appreciate guidance from anyone with recent experience.

I'll be staying probably in one of the main hotels, maybe the Miekles or the one that used to be the Sheraton, don't know yet. Is it possible to find WGs or semi-pros in the major hotels?

First of all let me say I have zero experience when it comes to mongering in hotels. What I know is the hotel scene is a bit reserved that you would not know who is who unless they approach you or someone tells you.

Zimbabwe scene is dead as far as escorts are concerned. You can however get a girl who does outcall massages and it is possible to get her to stay at your hotel for several hours but it can be a bit costly. The only way to get a better score is to hit the clubs, they are several of them available and taxi drivers usually know the places if you ask them. Some of the popular nightclubs are Private Lounge (Stripclub, has a facebook page, a bit classy), Londoners, Tipperary (a bit sleazy, lots of prozzies), Chez Ntemba (classy, classy prozzies), Club Happy 1+1 (Classy, classy prozzies) etc.

This might be where the problem is.
