Yes, Sweden does have about 30% of its population having come from other countries but of that 30% (something close to 10% (1/3 of the 30% came from Norway, Denmark and Finland. And then some more came from Germany too. The largest historical group of immigrants are from Finland. In other words your 30% is greatly exaggerated. AND a number of the immigrants that did come to Sweden over the years, intermarried and assimilated which means that although you may have Swedes with one immigrant parent they still possess genetic characteristic of the general Swedish population.

As for the vaccine preventing transmission, that is not only obvious from the data, the CDC has come out and said the vaccine does not prevent transmission, so again I do not know what the fuck you are talking about.

It looks like another one doesn't understand studies or statistics. It's funny because so much of everyone's everyday life is based on statistics.

Upgrades to roads, water systems, sewage systems, the electric grid are all ruled by statistics. Which crops are planted, which seed strains, which herbicides and pesticides and when to plant, apply pesticides, herbicides and fertilizer, along with when to harvest, statistics all the way.

Whether to build a new hospital, or expand an existing one, how many ambulance and firetrucks, how many police officers, all is based on statistics. Add to that, where to build pharmacies, grocery stores, hardware stores, restaurants and clubs and without statistics the entire infrastructure is fucked.

And let's not forget that any type of insurance is 100% statistics. Without statistics civilization collapses.

I think it was 1998, the day after Thanksgiving, I had a couple of small households of furniture to deliver in the Los Angeles area. I know it was the day after Thanksgiving, because I had forgotten to arrange some laborers in advance.

In a few of my more shameful moments I considered how much it might be worth, but eventually I wiped that hard drive.

I was joking around about putting them to work for me moving furniture and the Hollywood girl said it sounded like fun. So I ended up Van Nuys with a 40 year old debutante as my lumper. The last place we were delivering to I had to park the truck in the alley, blocking it. However, there were ways to easily get around my truck.

About halfway through unloading some chunky, mid 20's woman pulls up in a 10-12 year old Volvo and starts blowing her horn. I go to talk to her and she starts ranting about moving my truck. I was calm and polite, and told her I would be there at least another hour. I then pointed out 2 options which would quickly take her around my truck.

This achieved what I will now call the JustTK response. She began screaming about her importance, about her father, the Chief of Police, about how much trouble I was going to be in, just the typical irrational tantrum exhibited when spoiled brats don't get their way.

I remained polite and told her if she was in a hurry she should take 1 of the 2 options available, otherwise she would be sitting there for an hour.

We went back to work and she alternated between honking her horn and screaming out the window. After another 10 minutes had passed she decided to fake call the police. She holds her phone up to her ear and starts talking as loudly as possible. She described me in an inaccurate and unflattering manner and claimed I had threatened her. Then she got to my friend who she called my "fat, ugly white trash girlfriend. ".

As I noted previously, my friend was definitely not white trash. She also weighed half as much as the woman who was calling her fat. It's possible the woman was reasonably attractive, but with her mouth open she was a troll. However, my friend was clearly the winner in the looks department.

After her fake phone call, she yelled that the police were coming to throw me in jail. I just laughed and kept working. However, my friend decided she was tired of listening to the bullshit and walked up to her car. The window was quickly rolled up and doors locked. Diane just calmly said "you need to leave. " That's when the woman went full JustTK.

She cranked up her radio, stuck her fingers in her ears and said "I can't hear you. ".
Diane leaned over to look straight in the windshield and said "read my lips. You need to leave right now. " She spun her tires backing up and took off like her ass was on fire.

About 10 minutes later 4 skater punks come walking across the alley. I'm thinking I'll have to deal with more self-important delusional assholes. Nope. They were just gushing with how awesome we were and how the woman treated everyone that way. They had brought me a case of beer as thanks. I told them I couldn't accept the beer, but I had an idea. I handed them a $20 and told them to call their friends, buy more beer and throw a party telling the story.

Somewhere in the LA basin there are some 50 year old guys who probably still tell that story.
