First and foremost, I want to thank The Cane and Smuler for providing me with great information!

During my 13 night stay in Barcelona, I decided to book a short trip to Madrid.

Train: I took the Renfe bullet train to and from Madrid. Damn, that thing was fast. At times it was moving at 300+ KH / H. It was 2. 5 hours nonstop to Madrid, and 3 hours with two stops returning to Barcelona. It did not take me long to find the "Cafeteria Coche. " That is where the booze was stashed!

Hotel: With the recommendation from The Cane, I stayed 3 nights at the Catalonia Grand Via Hotel, right smack in the middle of things! I had a Premium room that was around 150 US per night. The room and hotel was outstanding!

I ate at the following places:

Mercardo de la Reina. Tapas (several times).
Quilombo. Tapas.
Mercardo San Miguel. Great place for all kinds of tapas!

About Mercardo San Miguel: I first thought was that this place was just a huge market with tons of fruit and vegetables; wrong! This place was full of tapas, drinks, sweets, jamon, and fruit. This was one of my favorite place to eat in Madrid!

Transportation: I'm a lazy bastard, so I took taxis everywhere I went. Important note: Write down the name of the place and the physical address to show to the taxi drivers.

Strip / table dance clubs:

In each club, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. As each night went on, the more I drank. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to correct me. All the prices are in Euros.

I always drink screwdrivers when I travel, and always with the house vodka; Smirnoff. However, most of the clubs used Absolute.

The fichas were various prices, I am quoting the lowest ficha price.

The girls were from all over: Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, DR, and multiple countries in Europe.

Tuesday night:

Club: Vive.
Cover charge: 17 - 1 drink included.
My drink: 17.

Comments: Great club! The biggest club I've seen in Spain. One thing I did not like about the club was there were too many chicas smoking. Granted, the place is huge, but the smoke still bothered me a bit.

I wanted to go to Flowers Park, but the taxi drive out there was costly and I already spent too much euros at the other places.

I'm sure I missed a few places, but hopefully I give other mongers an insight on the clubs, girls, and pricing. I did not have time to visit the Escort places, such as Chicas 7 or VIP 66.

Street girls:

I heard about street girls on Grand Via near McDonalds and off of Calle Montero. I scanned both areas on Wednesday and Thursday night and only talked to two girls from Africa; both wanted 50 for 30 minutes. No real deal there!

Overall thoughts on Madrid:

I really enjoyed what this city had to offer. The food was outstanding and it was fun talking to all the girls in the clubs. My favorite club was Factory Air because of the prices and the laid-back attitude of the women. I really enjoyed my time in the city and felt completely safe walking and exploring the city.

Would I ever return? Nah, I love South America too much!

I just returned from my first trip to Spain and thought I'the share my experiences. The trip itself was for a vacation with my wife and spent mostly in Costa del Sol area, but also 2 nights spent in Madrid.

To put this in the appropriate context, it is important to know that most all of my mongering to date has been in done in Central and South America (I speak passable Spanish), I typically don't like high mileage places, but instead prefer freelancer / independent venues if available, and strip club / bar clip joints if freelancer venues aren't available. Vive Madrid.

I went on a Thursday around 10:30 pm. I took the Metro to the "Tetuan" stop and from there it is only a couple of blocks. Very large strip club with several bar areas. No cover when I arrived, but had to pay 18 E for my first mixed drink and 16 E for the same drink from another bartender. Had a good "party" vibe to the place once it started to fill up. When I arrived, the sharks attacked, but politely declined and they moved on. There were already several of my type of girls at that time and the numbers continuously increased with over 60 women by the time I left. There were some average looking girls and some girls that really didn't look like they belonged there. There were actually 3 girls that did a strip on stage to 1 song.

I agree with others who have said that there are some stunning women in this place from several countries, but especially the Romanians and Moldovians. I liked the fact that the girls were dressed in outfits to impress in a nightclub atmosphere (but this also could lead to unexpected disappointment when they get naked). Prices are as indicated on this board of 110 E for 30 minutes (includes girl and room) and 220 E for 60 minutes. 40 E for drinks for the girls. I did ask a few girls about meeting up the next day before they had to be at the club and they were open to that but quoted me some exaggerated prices.

Estark Whiskeria (Hotel Diana Plus).

I went on a Friday around 8 pm. I took a taxi (30 E) from a hotel in the Plaza Castilla area. No cover when I went. Typical bar setup with girls in revealing lingerie. Again, attacked by sharks when I first arrived, but politely declined and ordered a few beers (11 E each).

Surprisingly, very attractive girls from Romania and Moldova and other EE mixed in with the not so attractive girls. The attractive girls were certainly Vive quality level. Prices were 50 E for 30 minutes and I think you can negotiate for longer time length. High mileage type of place not my thing, but with some very much my type of girls.

Factory Air.

I went from above around 10:30 and took a taxi that cost me 20 E. No cover when I went. Another large strip club setup, but seemed empty when I arrived. Had 1 beer (11 E), bought a mixed drink for a girl (14 E) and then I left. I did see some slutty looking slim girls that I would have been interested in, but decided to move on.

Flowers.

I went from above arrived around midnight and the taxi cost 60 E! This place is way out there to get to. I had researched using the Metro and the local train to get there but at midnight, I didn't want to bother. This is a bar type of setup with girls dressed in lingerie. No cover and had a couple of beers (11 E each), but really none of the girls really caught my attention, although most were friendly. I think pricing was 75 E for 30 minutes? Took a taxi back to my hotel in Plaza Castilla area for 35 E and called it a wrap for my Madrid experience.

Summary.

* Mongering in Spain is much more expensive than the Central and South American countries, but one has access to beautiful girls from EE countries.

* If planning to go to multiple venues, I would rent a car because taxi fares to get to some of the venues are expensive, but this also limits how much drinking you can do.

* I did not come across any girls in the venues that were actually from Spain, although I understand from RTFF that they tend to work from online.

* In over 7 days in Spain, I didn't really see any strikingly beautiful regular Spanish girls and IMHO, regular girls from Central and South America are more my type than the actual Espana girls.

* Did I mention that there are some beautiful EE girls working in the venues?
