Actually, 10-15 per day doesn't sound too different from their pre-COVID numbers. In early March 2020 I posted that I was customer #13 at 10 PM. At that time we were just starting to see people wearing masks in places like BTS and MRT, but most people on the street were still mask free. Still plenty of farang all over Sukhumvit.

The shops I go lately, I'm mostly their first or only customer that day.

I surprise visit to tulip, but ore COvid time tho. A big shout to the contributors out in ISG, I made a smooth experience. First I had stumbled upon Tulip while I was visiting nana area with my friend, around 12.00 pm. I chosen Ms Prow, and she was excited or at lest pretended to be excited 😜. In case there's ongoing Covid community transmission, places like Tulip wouldn't be safe, and couldn't possibly be made safe no matter what they did, apart from closing down.

If don't trust that Thailand's Covid level is currently exceedingly low as claimed (no community transmission), and that belief makes you concerned about your personal risk, you have no other option but to avoid engaging in this hobby for a while.

You are right, just not quite ready to get my little head around the fact that I need to wait and wait and wait. I have not been to BKK since March and really wanted to get different member's anecdotal evidence and or opinions on the situation. Thanks again.

As an aside, while you can get all sorts of things from unprotected sex, there is a drug now that protects 99.99% against HIV. Truvada. I just started taking it. Considering its a 1/20000 chance to get HIV normally (again, depending on a multitude of factors), when you add in 99.99% it almost goes to zero. Cost $200 USD to get the consultation and $30/ mo for the pills. I use the Indian version that is humorously called Tenof them. Good value for any monger looking for security and excellent value for the BB'ers

Truvada and equivalents are great solutions when condom broke rather than risking winning the lottery since you only have to take it for 28 days along with another anti viral.

The fact that some people have been using these medecine as a way to have uncovered sex with other individual at risks has, just like with other STDs, made some strains emerge as resistant to this medecine. Meaning that, even with the medecine, you won't be protected if the strain the other party carries is resistant to this medecine.

Moreover it does not protect you against many other lethal STDs such as Hepatitisis see for exemple.

And be sure to health checkups before taking this kind of drug on a regular basis since it can damage your kidneys and or liver, alter your bone structure, worsen your hepatitisis (if you caught one while unprotected).

So yeah it can be a useful medecine, but its not exactly something to recommend to anyone.
