I have experienced what you say to be true about the dual prices. Only made one trip to Thailand coming up on ten years ago. I Visited Bangkok, Patong Beach and spend some time on Ko Phi Phi Don. Before going over there I spent time on Thai Cupid talking to girls. We went to the mall and she taught me by sending my up to the counter to ask the price a portable speaker while she waited outside the store, than I went and told her it was 250 baht, she asked me to give her 125 baht and she went and got the speaker, so 50% mark up for the farang.

Or even 100% in places where maths is not understood by the Farang.

Exactly. Thais want to bring in foreigners that they can take advantage of. Look at all the dual pricing around. I am a member of a group in facebook that only concerns itself with the dual pricing system that takes advantage of foreigners. How you and your wife of 20 years going to go to a venue and you are charged 2 different prices because no matter how long you have lived there, you will never be Thai? But it is what it is. LOL. There is no freaking target on anyone. What lifestyle is he professing to live? Maybe you can not tell from his posts, but MP is a very simple guy that seems is trying to leave less of a carbon footprint than most people. Should he be around there living it up like Caligula? Would that get the target off the backs of retirees?

He might (or used to before Covid) splurge on chicks and in the gogo, but the rest of his life he spends making noodles and buying the stuff the store is getting ready to throw out; living a simple existence. He could rent a car or motorbike, but he always chooses to walk everywhere. Again it is really different thinking you know someone from a few posts they have written and meeting them in real life. Mfs got problems when they think he is living it up and the same mfs have problems when he is living simple. Dammit man! Make up your fucking minds.

In what day has a foreigner ever been able to suck off of Thailand? Hell, Thais can not even suck off of Thailand. They want foreigners that will spend in excess is what they want. If a mf is paying for his room and buying food then he is contributing to the economy. Do you expect him to be buying a new Mercedes Benz every month? What do you consider contributing to the economy?

You come not after the last bum on the street, but even after the last pet that citizens own. You are a guest. Take your ass back to where you are a citizen and get your vaccine. I just shut the fuck up and thank the powers that be that I am allowed to be a visitor there.

We are only visitors whether we are just doing a One Night in Bangkok layover or an expat. Same for any other country we are lucky to visit.

There are a few guys who have questioned whether Dannyboy has ever been to Pattaya or even Thailand. I'm starting to feel this way as well, with his fixation and obsession with YouTube vids and livestreams of very average looking women, something a Pattaya regular wouldn't even look twice at.

I have no job. I move around from temporary housing to temporary housing. All my belongings in life, fit in 2 suitcases. I don't have a permanent address. Am I homeless? Some of the beach bums and homeless people in Pattaya have motorbikes and cell phones. They all have money and food. So maybe I fit the definition.

Another thing is I watch my movies on my laptop, even though there is a 50 inch LG flat screen in my room for rent. And I have an adapter and HDMI cable. Why? Too much heat and electricity. Perhaps the savings will go to my landlord's kid's school lunch.

No need to get so defensive my MP for Pattaya, who ever said being privileged refers only to being wealthy, can be but it can also mean being special such as having exceptional game, being gifted with superior intellect and so on. No idea what your financial circumstances are, perhaps your described lifestyle is out of necessity perhaps not but nobody is in any doubt by your own account you are an extraordinarily accomplished individual and this is why I described you as privileged.

The Paw sometimes has to clarify in case there is any confusion. But it has been 24 days since your original post and my response. A lot of your posts don't make it to print because you are probably on moderation and the moderator doesn't believe they are worth posting (I don't know if this is why it's just a guess, I'm not speaking for a moderator).

Your first post that I didn't agree with was about you having 800,000 baht or more in a Thai bank account but since you weren't here you were afraid that the account would be put in a dormant status and you didn't know how to get the money out. I responded to that post and I even sent you a PM to give you examples of how to solve the issue. When you didn't respond I knew you were weren't serious. Then as you started to post more I noticed that your experiences were way different from mine. Not just occasionally but almost consistently different especially when talking about ladies behavior and your posts about certain bars were totally different from mine. I'm not calling you out as being a liar or making shit up or anything that like but I am saying that I disagree with most of your posts. What you say may be true if you're an often visitor to a bar and know a girl or are well known in the bar.
