How about cycling through Santa Fe during the day to check out the chica's, anyone ever done this ? I guess it wouldn't be a good place to leave a bike (even locked), when you're busy having a good time with a chica !
I see there's a bus T13 that runs all the way down Carrera 7 from north Chapinero to the hotel San Francisco beside Santa Fe. I know it's all relative, but is that route / bus 'safe' ?
For any of you guys who know these places, I've hung out in Buenos Aires Microcentro clubs area and Santa Fe day and night, stayed in Paulista in Sao Paulo and walked from there to the downtown clubs at night (ie Big Ben), and walked up and down Avenida Independencia in Santo Domingo at night too, all with no problems. So I was wondering, are you giving me such specific advice on how to stay safe because Bogota is a step up in relative danger from any of those places, or just because I seem nervous and have asked so many questions?

Man, I wouldn't stay anywhere near Santa Fe. You're better off in North Bogota the entire time.

Posts: 484World Travel 69's bad experience definitely needs some more explantion and details!
I'm coming down next week finally. Booked the first few nights at a hotel near Santa Fe, will venture there in the day once I've got my bearings. Then rented a nice looking Airbnb near Parque 93 for another week, hope it's warm enough!
I know these issues have been mentioned before, but I can't seem to find the answers anywhere. Namely, what's the best company to get a local SIM car from? What's a good daytime hotel to take a chica with hourly rates / what area can you find them (central chapinero? And where is the club Mezzanine 8 that a contributor mentioned he had a good time at? I don't find it on Routard's list.
Cheers guys!

The first day I took a taxi at around 1 pm.
But, while I was walking a person was siting in a door way, with big tits hanging out, but then the person pulled open the shirt to show me a big dick.
Be careful!
I walked until I found the right chica.
Nice bareback blow job.
Yesterday I went back around 2 pm.
I found a chica in a bar doorway. We went inside. I paid and went into a bed room.
I did not like the bullshit and put my pants to find my money was taken out of my pants.
We had a fight trying to get my money back. I grabbed for the purse, but she got to it first and sprayed me with pepper spray.
After washing my eyes out I went and complained to the bar people to no avail.
So, I was the one to get Fucked.

Posts: 7After a few days off duty due to feeling a bit under the weather, I've lined up a couple of mature photoprepagos girls in the next few days. Probably not to everyone's tastes, but I'm a fan of all natural amateur type looking women, and these girls have excellent reviews and have been very responsive to whatsapp messages so my expectations are high! Will report back.
I was planning on scoping out Santa Fe, but not sure I'll bother despite not really being fazed by the area after spending a lot of time in Medellin Centro. As it's my last few days in the country I think I'll just order girls to come to me instead.

My recommendation has always been, if you're concerned about being able to walk around the area, stay north of Calle 72. Generally between Carrera 7 and 15 is what I consider to be less scary for the novice visitor. For the particularly nervous types, I'd move that to north of Calle 85. This is from Jjbee. It is really good advice for anyone new around here. I live here and generally true for me too. North of 72 is just fine. Great advice so follow it. A cab to Santa Fe is no more than five dollars from carrera 15 and calle 100. Comfortable and safe. I don't use the Transmilenio. Just personal taste.

But Senior Yippie, Bogota is a safe city, you say? Not really. Especially if its your first time. You don't want to get drugged and robbed. There's tons of time during the day to fuck in brothels in Chaperino. For night life try to get a chicas number and go to El Retiro. There is an area there with tons of restaurants, clubs, and casinos.
EDIT: Also make sure you visit the Mezzanine girls. Its in the Bogota map maintained here. It's quiet an experience to fuck in a closet.

Anyway, I never stay at American hotels but I have not yet been offered this service.
By the way, at the FKKs in Germany very few girls are German. Almost all come from the poorest parts of the European Union like Romania.

It depends on YOU which area you feel comfortable in. It also depends on you which climate you feel confortable in. Wear an extra layer of clothes in the evening or on a rainy day in Bogota and sleep under an extra blanket, or go somewhere warmer like Medellin.
My favourite area of Bogota now is Zona G in Chapinero around Cra 5 and Calle 70. Plenty of good restaurants in the area because well to do Colombians live above there. In my room in Hotel Emaus (120 k on booking) I was surprised to see an electric heater, not common in Bogota. The bathtub instead of shower was good, too.
I have received my Sugarbabies in three different hotels in Bogota and reception never even asked to see their ID. I had booked a double room, except one place where I paid 70 k for one person I had to pay 30 k to upgrade to double on days when I had a visitor.
