What is VM?

I'm headed to Rio next week for the first time. Been RTFF here which has been very helpful.

I've also been looking at RioEscortGuide which is a website. You have to add the dot of course, and then the com.

I think you are thinking about Shenanigans Pub in Ipanema. I don't think it's a meat market where you are likely to go home with someone on the spot. I think it was always a place for English-speaking local girls who were curious about foreign men to try their luck at finding love. There is still a major stigma being seen with foreign men in Rio's Zona Sul area. Fifteen years ago, you could've picked up an attractive store clerk with some game, but the attitudes changed with each passing year.

Since I have very little time everything has to be spot on- I will stay around CopaCabana because I like Mabs / Dolce vita. I speak Portuguese but not fluent. Are there hotels that accept when you enter with a girl? If yes please tell me since airbnb for 2 days looks a bit silly think. If Hotels like this do not exist in that area I will go for Airbnb I guess. I am not a termas fan. I prefer the 'normal' bar meetings- I am 39, ok looking and like I said I speak Portuguese a bit. I haven't been following this thread so I don't know if this has been mentioned. It's been at least fifteen years since I have been to Rio.
