I am leaving Pattaya shortly for Bangkok where I will be for a night or two before proceeding to Indonesia.

Jumping in on a rather old post, but fluency in English with a non-Thai accent has nothing to do with being Singaporean. If anything, with all due respect, the average Singaporean's "fluency" in English is anything but fluent.

I am going to be in Pattaya for three nights from April the 13th to Saturday the 16th. I have been to Pattaya before and to Bangkok many times, but never over Songkran. Leaving aside the certainly of being soaked with water, how is the talent in Pattaya over this holiday? Do many of the girls head out for the holiday, or do they stay in town? I am also wondering whether BKK would be a better call, given the festival. Any insights?

I been to Songkran 2 time if you don't want to get wet don't come Thai are crazy they will soak you in Bangkok, but Pattaya is not as bad not as crazy as in Bangkok, I think you should come and see what is Thai new yr is about but for me I rather go to China for the Chinese new year.
