Ya, Mon. I also recently read that jizz protein is good ingredient for facial skin nutrition. I swear this is not bullshit! I am going to share the science of this with my naive nineteen year old GF as a prelude to our reunification.

    Very Good Post but

Should we not just take our chances? I have no intention of taking any vaccine (I never got a flu or pneumonia shot) except if I absolutely must travel (not for Pinay pussy). I think the risk is over estimated and that Western governments and health services are grossly incompetent, Big Pharma is the sweetest part of Wall St so FKK them.

I am around retirement age, fit, good diet, do very little if any risky stuff outside of sex.

Any idea why children must now be "vaccinated"? I thought they were immune, which sounds odd as the vulnerable are usually the ones who pop their clogs.

In terms of "carrying" covid, the data suggests the vaccines reduce the ability of someone to get COVID with no symptoms and tranmit the virus to someone else. BUT. That data is only observational, the studies of this are ongoing, so don't count on this right now. That means you still need to mask (actually double mask, paper on bottom, cloth on top), distance, and good hand hygeine. You don't need to mask when you are eating filipina pussy however.

Most of the cases of blood clots are in younger women but not exclusively. However the risk of dying from COVID is higher than the risk of clots (to date). Also for the J&J vaccine, there is an ongoing study to see if 2 doses are needed.

I suspect for any of the vaccines booster doses will be required. That is just the way that some of these vaccines are.

None of the vaccines "change" your DNA. The Pfizer and Moderna are mRNA vaccines that program your body to make the COVID spike protein and then your body makes immunity. The J&J, AZ and Sputnik V are "vector" vaccines. They go into the nucleus (center) of your cells and use your own DNA mechanism to make mRNA which then makes the spike protein antigen and then immunity.

No vaccine is 100% effective. But we know if enough people have immunity, then the chance of getting the disease, even if the vaccine didn't give you immunity is reduced (but not ZERO).

The numbers are in favor of vaccine vs side effects (severe side effects such as blood clots). But, I suspect the J&J and AZ vaccines will not be recommended for younger women to be on the safe side, and because there are other alternatives that are effective.

I also know that Westie is doing some research on a COVID vaccine delivered via semen. Exciting work for sure.

-Don't take the chinese "killed virus" vaccines, only about 55% effective. Even their scientists say they are not good. China gave a lot of vaccine to many countries including PHIL.

-For you guys, the Astra-Zeneca-Oxford vaccine and the J&J vaccine (if available) are OK (most risk in younger women). The AZ vaccine is preferred as it provides more protection and is a 2 dose vaccine compared to the J&J vaccine.

-Russian Sputnik V seems good also based on published data in a major medical journal with a good reputation.

-The Pfizer (which is in PHIL) and Moderna vaccines, both 2 doses and both 90%+ effective even against some variants. These are the preferred.

This is a broad brush statement, so don't bust me on trivia with these. This is my area of expertise so I'm offering up the advice (maybe not worth 2 cents hahaha?

    Good luck.

Many mongers still at home had covid cancelled flights.

Some will be coming up against the cancel date for any 12 month Credit notes that they may have received.

True for us old guys but the AZ can have some rare but severe blood clotting complications. A 48 yo Australian died last week.

Note that complication rates are very low so I'm not fear mongering but it's something to be aware of if you are below 50.

    3-year time limit

I was aware of this 3-year time limit, I moved to Cebu City in July 2019 and am still living here. I have been extending my stay here every 6 months using their 'visa waiver' scheme (ie a 6 month visa extension). My current visa runs out in September when I will request another extension.

I have not left the country since I arrived in July 2019, and with the current ongoing 'rona restrictions on entry for foreigners I could leave the country tomorrow but would not be let back in again. So in a way I am trapped here, but it's a hell'uva place to be trapped!

My 3 years will be up in July next year and if the entry restrictions for foreigners have not been eased up by then (or the suspension on the 3-year rule) I will have to leave and go and live elsewhere.

A recent survey here in the Philippines showed about 60% of the population were unwilling to be inoculated against the 'rona, I'm not sure what effect that will have on opening up the country. They started their inoculation programme back in February but there seems to be a lot of supply problems, so even for the 40% who are keen to get jabbed they will have to be patient.

Concur. I was not suggesting that foreigners were locked out of the system, I was saying that in the early bits of information coming out (such as those pics), I didn't see foreigners mentioned (same in my place back home). I was speaking more in the academic. I might stop by my Brgy hall and ask.

From almost all my Filipino contacts, few want a jab. Not one of my regulars (multiple cities) will get a jab. I hear the wildest conspiracy theories (regardless those DOH FB ads with pics like I posted, claiming that vaxes are safe and necessary). The conspiracy theories run the gamut, from the simplest (vaxes kill people on the spot), to more unusual (the vaccine is formulated so that new 5 G cell towers can geo-locate and follow you) to the more bizarre (vaxes are formulated so that 5 G cell towers can find you and laser-kill you on the spot). Nothing irrational there.

Little different in my country, just the anti-vaxers there have different reasons not to vaccinate. However, don't be surprised if only a smaller-than-herd-immunity % of people here (or any country) are vaxed a year from now. I am making a conjecture here: For many poor countries, for a variety of reasons (cost, scandals, corruption), it could be years before they get enough vaccines (trickles of jabs from time to time). A country must vaccinate its people to a herd-immunity level in a short time-frame (the vax potency might be limited in time). Its not only not looking good for foreigners here, its looking bad for foreigners in their own country who want to travel here.

Sad face also for foreigners here whose 3-year time limit is (or has) expiring during Covid. You must leave, and don't know when you are coming back.
