Hello, can I get some help with this? Thank you.I never heard of a red light district in CDO, maybe this is the reason why nobody's answering your question.

Just a gentle reminder of how good we have it here in SEA.
Out of boredom I was reading the USA forum, and here are only two excerpts, there was no need to read further, to remember the terror of getting caught, and the price you're paying for very little action:
"Did anyone notice the mobile police cameras set up in the Target parking lot? I am not sure if they were intended for Target or aimed towards the ramen place. Any thoughts? I played it safe and went to one of the other spas this time, even though I finally found this location. ".
And another one:
"Found the place you're talking about on Maryland and flamingo, got a girl named Wendy. $260 total for 45 minutes. ".
And we are complaining that now we're paying $100 for all night GFE, unhinged in your own place, with the companion of choice out of hundreds that you can view and interview.I agree totally. I was recently scanning Seeking for California out of curiosity. The amount of whales with ugly tats and piercings wanting to be treated like a "Princess" made me want to lose my lunch. I didn't even communicate with them but I'm sure they all want $1 K per meet. So yes compared to that SEA is pure Paradise. But Angeles is losing its charm and attractiveness and there are many better options in SEA if you live in the region.
Hello,
Can anyone give me some extra tips for CDO besides the usual troll dating apps? I've found a girl to my liking at CDO and might want to fly over but I need backup plans in case she flakes. Where is the red light district in CDO?CDO is a college town so it's absolutely full of gorgeous girls. That's the good news. The not so good news is that very few of them are point and shoot. I would go as far as to say I would bypass the whole town unless you planned to stay a considerable time and can commit to putting in a lot of ground work.
There are bars and clubs on Corrales Ave but these are full of groups of friends having a night out. No one is looking to make a quick buck sucking grandpa's dick.
My report on CDO a few weeks ago:
I arrived in CDO with a couple of buddies.
Why don't you meet her in Davao??
Enjoy. G.

Hello, can I get some help with this? Thank you.I'm with Go on this. Visited about a decade ago. Town full of pretty girls shopping in the malls, but not up for a roll with a foreigner. Believe that I wrote a negative report on the place at the time. Had about 20 girlie contacts from dating sites when I arrived who had agreed to meet / play, but every one of them turned out to be a dud. Only about half actually met for coffee, and none of them were of the opinion that she should come to my place (that day, or later).
There was a club called Fantastic, a gogo, but it was depressing. Girls aged 30+, one MILF, the rest were chubs / fugs. Barfine price at the time was higher than AC, and for ST only. Have a mate who lives in the area and he said (late last year) gogo prices are higher than the new AC.
There was a street walker area, but I don't remember the street. Dirty area. Might not exist now.
Would suggest that you are making a common mistake: Traveling to a provincial girl. Travel the girl to you in a bigger city. She will appreciate that, there will be more to do, and if she craps out you have big city alternatives. If she balks at this idea, and suggests that she wants you to meet her family / friends, she is looking for a boyfie. You OTOH want a hottie in your bed for a few nights.

Look what they are dealing with in the US upper-midwest (most recent post). You tip a girl to come have a drink with you, and you wait 90 minutes to get stiffed:
Pretty and softspoken. Wears glasses, medium length brown hair, 5'2' thin, fit, toned, several tats, very nice smile.
With the small crowd in the bar, thought I would finally get a chance to sample her talents when she was available.
Tipped her on stage, asked her to stop by. Said she would. Sounded good to me.
She left the stage. Brief visit to the ladies room. Then went to another table, sat and talked for 20 minutes.
Led him to the VIP. That session lasted 5 stage dancers /3 songs each. About an hour later, she exited VIP. Briefly spoke to 2 other men.
Sat down with another parton at the bar. 15 minutes later, took him to VIP.
When a dancer has customers waiting in line, don't trick me to stay. Just tell me. I will simply move along.
That was my cue to cut bait. Spent a couple hours, left with money in my pocket.
Would suggest that you are making a common mistake: Traveling to a provincial girl. Travel the girl to you in a bigger city. She will appreciate that, there will be more to do, and if she craps out you have big city alternatives. Plus it removes the biggest road block to hooking up with a provincial girl: she may be shy to meet a foreigner but she's absolutely petrified that's said meeting will be witnessed by friends, family or classmates.

What if I want to fly in sisters at once? Is that too ambitious?Get their exact names on their ID's and birthdates to buy the airplane tickets.

Get their exact names on their ID's and birthdates to buy the airplane tickets.Have the girls send you a front / back pic of each of their VALID ID. Many girls don't have a valid ID. They might have no ID, or a college ID, or a Brgy ID. Phils recognizes about 13 various government valid ID's. The college ID, Brgy ID and senior ID are good for many things in Phils, but are not valid ID. Showing up at the check-in counter or security counter with a non-valid ID can get them turned away.
What if I want to fly in sisters at once? Is that too ambitious? Not at all. However, do NOT send them money so that they can purchase the tickets. You purchase the tickets in advance on your dime, and take a screenshot of the itinerary on the website (or app) and send it to them so that they are sure there is a ticket. About 48 hours prior to the flight, you will get an email telling you to check-in online. Do it, and you will get a boarding pass for each girl. Screen-shot those and send it to the girls. You will also need to send them p1000 each for fare from her / their home to the airport (its 45 minutes van ride to the Laguindingan airport in a van from the LimKetkai Mall). Its a taxi ride from NAIA to your place, so another p400 for that. In additon to whatever financial compensation you agree to for their time, you should probably give them each an extra p1000 for their expenses going back from your place in Manila to NAIA, then the van ride and jeeps / trykes home from Laguindingan to their home. A possibility is that the girls will change their mind at the last moment and not come. You lose the advance money you sent for fare and have to live with that (the cost of doing biz). This is the reason that you don't send them p8000 each to purchase their own airfare.
When you purchase the tix online, you will have a choice: Pay less for non-refundable tix. Or pay more (about p1000) and get your money put into your online airline account (ie, Cebu Pacific), for use at a later time). You might need to make an account, it costs nothing.
Another consideration is time. As you have never met the girls before and are not sure of their personalities, you must consider how much time you want to spend with them initially. I would recommend something short, like 2 nights. If they are duds, or if they are pushy or a-holes once you meet, 3 days / 2 nights might seem like an eternity. If they are great, it might seem way too short. Either way, for luggage purchase for the airline, you will need to decide if they each should bring a carry-on bag / packpack for a few panties and a change or 2 of clothes, or a larger suitcase. The extra suitcase (checked luggage) will cost more. I usually have the girls bring a large carry-on bag and no luggage.
What if I want to fly in sisters at once? Is that too ambitious?Despite what WC says in his detailed post, I suggest that it is too ambitious because you have never met them in person yet.
Remember the 2 cardinal rules for living and working in the PH (from someone who has lived and worked here for 28 years).
- "if something can go wrong, it will" and,
- "for anything that you do, there is always one extra step".
There are so many moving parts in a plan like that. Too many places where rule 1 comes into play.
I suggest you fly to CDO and have fun there.

Hello,
Can anyone give me some extra tips for CDO besides the usual troll dating apps? I've found a girl to my liking at CDO and might want to fly over but I need backup plans in case she flakes. Where is the red light district in CDO?All online meetings have an average 80% no show no reply history in nearly all countries. You are willing to waste your time and money going there? Fine. This 10 years old info from me. The bars you are seeking were just north of the Plaza Divisoria (the long narrow park). North of that park runnning east-west: Cruz Taal, Gomez, and J. Are. Borja Streets. That is the bar area for girls. They had similar prices to Angeles City at that time. I was expecting lower prices but no go.
Street girls are in the north-south Don Apolinar Velez Street roughly from Gomez St at the south end up to Montalban Street. I remember all of them being on the west (left) side of the street.
CDO has bars now too. How do I know this. Common sense. Right now I am in Province: Abra. City Bangued. Bar girl price is 2500 p for 3 hours. 1st bar 9 girls (1 doable). 2nd bar 6 girls (busy drinking with customers so could not see any). 3rd bar 7 girls (no good). City of Bangued has a population of 50,000 and CDO has a population of 800,000 which is 16 times larger. But in the last 10 years they may have had a mayor that outlawed those types of bars. That simple means they are now just outside the city limits. Saw this in another city in the southern part of Luzon island but too long ago to remember which city.
Your chance of success with just the one sister I put at 15%. Both sisters 5%.
What if I want to fly in sisters at once? Is that too ambitious?Mate, Westie provides some great info on how it can be done, but as Red Kilt mentions, anything can go wrong in The Phils.
Is it really worth the effort?
I must add that Westie's info is invaluable for anyone looking to fly a girl in their direction.
Personally, I've only done this with a girl I know and not a stranger online.
It must also be noted that some girls can happily ride with two / three others on a motorcycle and are used to squishing up with many others on a bumpy jeepney ride on shit roads.
But when it comes to flying for the first time, they shit themselves (not literally).

Is free sex cheap sex II.
An update how the costs of "free" sex has changed after about two weeks.
Corporate Girl has basically moved into my AirBnB, going to work every day and returning here every night.
Costs to me have remained largely the same. I'm paying an extra 1 k per day to upgrade from a cheap hotel to the Airbnb, her daily taxi to work is 120, increased food cost is trivial as either she cooks or we split a Grab Food that I would have ordered anyway. Still no cash payment to her unless you want to count 2 k I gave for her younger brother's food, transport etc to watch her house, feed her dogs etc. That seemed fair considering it's been empty for two weeks.
A dirty weekend out of town together was 1100 for her return bus fare, no increased accommodation cost for a cheap Airbnb, pasalubong for the family was 1100 and I bought her two blouses for 1200 total. Food costs were minimal as she watched what she spent. Saturday night out was one SML Apple for the evening.
I think I'm still paying about the same as a typical 2 k per day for STs or a LT provider. Clearly, I'm well ahead if we allow for bar fines and lady drinks. It's certainly much less stress and more sure fire. She's also now aware of my likes and dislikes now so I don't have to train newcomers every night.
Enjoy. G.

I worked out early on it's not all about the bar scene.
Sure, there's no such thing as free sex anywhere in the world.
You can have a great deal of fun by rewarding in other ways, and the rewards generally come back to you and the girls are great contacts to retain for the future.

This is travel-related for Filipinas and not directly mongering related, so please delete admin if not appropriate for this forum.
This has been touched on in some areas, but I'm seeking further clarification. I know that it is problematic for Filipinas to travel outside the country sometimes, and offloading is a real concern. Are there any guidelines for when it is appropriate for immigration to offload someone from a plane and how to best prevent it? My partner would love to visit Singapore, and I'the like to make that happen and take her there for a week next summer. If there is a round trip ticket and hotel that is paid for, would that prevent her from being offloaded? Same question for my wife, who would like to vacation in Thailand this summer for a couple of weeks with me and a friend of mine who owns land there. There would be a round trip ticket, but open itinerary for our time there, as it would depend on my friend and what she wants to show us. Will being married to me prevent her from being offloaded? It's a lot of moving parts and I don't want things to fall apart in the airport for either situation!

Show round trip tickets and hotel bookings for sure. Bookings in the girls names are helpful.
Have pictures of you and the girl together showing a relationship. The longer the better.
Might have to show they have some money on them or a way to pay for things.
In the event she is pulled over for an interview just answer the questions. They are making sure there is a relationship.
If they had prior travels in and out of PH the better.
I traveled to Singapore with a girl and we were interviewed in PH and by Singapore on arrival. Same questions. They are looking for trafficked girls.

This is for real, if your dates are flexible.
It will be displayed priced at 1800 p, that's the 1 p ticket plus taxes and fees.
P.S. That's a pic don't try to click on it, go to the website, cannot post the link because it points to my cebupacific account.

It always works that there is a purchase period of about 10-14 days, prior to the actual flight period of several months (later, after the purchase period, possibly starting months after). Its a great time to purchase and fly.
I think I posted a similar item like this some months back / I am so smart. After recommending the low-cost flights, I was planning my own venture from the province to Manila. I contemplated flying out around the first of my travel month (within the sale travel dates for the discount), or the middle of the month. I pondered and pondered, wondering about my wandering. The sale period passed, and I wisely continued to consternate about the flight dates. Prices had jumped from p1, to p1500-ish. Then as the travel month got closer, even higher. It was THEN that I pounced. Had I purchased during the sale period, total RT price would have been p4000. However due to my own delay, it ended up being p8300. Worse, I was planning to fly in a long-time fav girl from her province during my time in Manila for a weekend visit, and that RT ticket cost p8300 (sale price would have been about p4000).
So smart. Sooooooo smart. Call me. . .

Not a replacement for flying from one end of the archipelago to the other but for closer distances, I'm now a huge fan of busses. Most would be aware that the PI's flights operates on a hub and spoke model. That's great if you are flying from one hub to another. However, it truely sucks if you have two relatively nearby cities but still have to fly via Cebu or Manila. In this case busses are cheaper and faster. They also leve many times per day so no preplanning is required.
Something to keep in mind for those wanting to see a few places.

G.Buses and ferries are great if you are travelling with a backpack and carryon size suitcase. Travelling with a large suitcase becomes a pain in the ass even on a trike. Here is a good bus example. Several islands have a highway that goes in a circle around the entire island like Cebu, Bohol, Negros, Bohol, Mindoro, Samar, Panay, and more. Just stand on the side of the road going the direction you want. Wave the bus down as it is coming to you. You can be out in the middle of nowhere and it will pick you up. You do not have to be at a bus station or in the city. I know Cebu island so I will speak of it. Roughly from 6 am - 10 am the buses will pass by every 45 minutes. From 10 am - 6 pm every 20-30 minutes. 6 pm - 10 pm 60 minutes. 10 pm - 6 am every 3 hours or never (no reason to travel that time but know it is rare because it is a very rural route). There is a bus station near the southern tip but a few kilometers on the east side. You will need to change busses there to continue around the island. Beware! The Aholes will try to tell you you need to take a trike from there. Total BS. The bus driver is trying to make money for his trike buddy and a little for himself. Why is there a bus stop at the southern end but a little bit on the east side? Because there is a ferry (walking distance) that goes to Dumaguette every 2-3 hours and half a kilometer away is a ferry that goes to Siquijor. Daytime only of course and no large ocean waves so best to avoid rainy season (stormy seas). No need to pre-plan. Always seems to be last minute tickets available. Learn the buses and the ferries and you can create some easy travel experiences. But travel light.
Ten years ago I travelled this way because I wanted to explore and never knew how long I would be in a town. Cotabato less than 24 hours because Muslim town and my spider sense hit me as soon as the bus stopped there. Illigan 2 weeks because there were many street girls there which was surprising. I took ferry from Cebu to Manila. It took 24 hours. Everyone has a bed so you can sleep but it still sucked because so boring. Do not go long distances.

Regarding offloading. Is there a system where you could get an appointment with the BI in Intramuros a day or two prior to departure and get the girl similarly vetted with a departure visa, so the airport Immigration (and you) don't have to go thru this process, running the risk of ruining your travel plans? Wouldn't that make more sense?

G.Have to agree G. And they're a cheap option, leave really frequently, albeit not on time, and they're comfortable. Apart from the plastic seat covers.
I recently posted on how to get to Sabang and suggested the bus trip as the preferred method.
On my latest trip I was even asked if I was a senior for a cheaper fare.
Rather than say "Fuck off, I'm 50" I agreed that I looked beyond my years.
And it's a great way to mingle with the locals.
Looking forward to my next bus to Batangas Port in about three weeks.

G.I've done buses some, too. I did a few times in Mindanao for a couple of hours, and it was nice and pretty comfortable. They just stop at "stations" (that might even just be a parking lot) to pick up people, then back on the road again in five minutes. I've done on Luzon, too. Within cities in Bicol that was 2-4 hours, depending on if they stop for passengers often (one bus would randomly stop on the streets and wait for 15-20 minutes for passengers). Then southern Bicol to Manila (about 12 hours) was a lot to handle. But it was a large bus with larger seating for 1. 3 k, I think. Cheaper than flying, but not by much if you book flights a few months in advance.
The good thing is most people are friendly. And usually about 2/3 women. And if there are several telling my partner that I'm gwapo, including the young-ish ones, then I figure I'the have a decent chance if I was alone.

I'm the king of bus rides (and ferries), I rode them up and down, left and right for over one year, without having a clear final destination in mind, just the next point on the map. They are as fast as anything else on the PH roads. The buses are not as convenient as a taxi, but I would say they are more comfortable, and definitely much safer. The plastic covers on the seats suck, but I have a jacket with me while traveling, and I always put that under my but, to have some air circulate thru the fabric.
The biggest inconvenience is the lack of info about the routes and schedules, can do only limited advance planning. The only info you can take for granted is from the driver or the ticket guy, after you manage to find the correct bus terminal, and the right bus. For the popular routes frequented by foreigners there is some info, mostly coming from forums, not from the bus co. Website are non existent, convoluted, or outdated.
If you don't have nothing better to do, and have time on your hands, is a great place to meet girls, that otherwise would not talk to you if they were not forced by circumstances to sit next to you. I had many pleasant encounters, with successful follow ups, traveling this way.
On the other hand, I avoid the vans like the plague, they are crammed, hot, make lots of stops, and cannot stretch your legs.

"Did that twice, going on cruises, from Singapore and Malaysia, with 2 different girls, because I wanted to be on those cruises, and I didn't want to go alone. You have to be with the girl, show where you're going and what you're doing there, hotels, air tickets, and most important return tickets for the girl. Second time I did it we had no return tickets, because we were getting off in Thailand, and I didn't know how long we will stay there. I had to book flights on the spot from bkk to mnl, and email the officer the reservation. Also very important is to have pictures together taken at different times, and different locations, to prove that there is a long term relationship going on. Don't lie because they are trained in catching that. The interview is not with the pass control guys, but with a different ones with piercing eye sights, and maybe you, and the girl will be separated. Have plenty of spare time, this may take few hours. After that the girl is "veted" and she can exit alone next time. Good luck!
I don't think you can have a predeparture clearance, we are in PH, you can't even order a big mac without the onions, without having the manager involved, and getting a surprise in your bag after you think that it's all crystal clear.

Why do you recommend buses but do not tell guys how to use them. Tell the guys how they work. Not sure you truly understand so I just did it for you from my memory of 10 years past. Read my post and you can learn something. I fail to understand why guys post information which has no information.Sorry, my bad. I didn't realise catching a bus was a highly complex task that required step by step instructions.
G.
The biggest inconvenience is the lack of info about the routes and schedules, can do only limited advance planning. I actually saw this as a positive: with hourly or better departures and no need to pre book anything, I would often wake up, decide to go somewhere else and just leave. It was super convenient.

G.Yeah, but some remote places have only one trip per day, and if you missed it you're screwed, you have to find alternatives while carrying your backpack or go back to the hotel, taking the boat is another story: it may not go everyday. That's why if I'm in the dark and I'm staying in that place longer, I always find the transportation hub, and go there in advance to find info.

I'd agree that published and online schedules etc are largely meaningless regardless of where you are. Some of the latest schedules that I found were already years old.
I was lucky. When I just turned up, the longest wait I had was less than 30 minutes. But, yes, that was on popular routes.

G.Apart from adding that most online bus schedules are very outdated, as others have noted, that's a great call G.
I get private messages here all the time asking for the contact details of girls I've discovered. That's not going to happen as I've done all the ground-work.
I just try to give my advice on how I discover them.
I'm willing to offer my experience and advice regarding bus travel, but I'm not going to do all the homework for everyone.
Albeit, my recent post on how to get to Sabang from Manila by bus and boat.

G.It can get worse, I had instances when the bus or the van broke down, and we had to return, or wait for spare parts to arrive. I remember one time, I don't recall where, the bus broke somewhere in the mountains, and we spent the night there until the next day when a motorbike brought the part, and we continued the journey. I tried to get out of the situation, but there was nothing avail, and I guess it was the only vehicle that the transport company had, some people slept outside, some lit up fires, luckily across the street in the middle of nowhere was a sari-sari shop, to buy some water and chips. It was some sort of surreal movie like experience, not pleasant at the time, but overall a good memory.
Another time we got dumped on the road by a van driver that had an emergency in the family (someone died), he had to return, and we hitchhiked, all nice memories, the only regret I have is that I didn't always take photos.
Visa extensions are now available immediately upon arrival at the airport. No need to go to an external BI office. Clear normal immigration, go up to the 2nd floor and amongst the government offices is a BI desk. 29 day extension available in 15 minutes for 3030 peso. Keep the receipt with the new expiry date..For those extending their visa at the airport, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. I didn't realise that when I did mine, they didn't stamp my passport with the extension, only the initial 30 days. Without the receipt, I didn't have any evidence that I hadn't overstayed.

G.Thought this was common knowledge. They stopped putting stamps in extensions before covid. The government ran out of the old-fashioned extension stamps way back when (probably 2018; I recall the stamps appeared to be metallic). They started paperclipping the receipt into the last page of my PP. You just need to keep the most recent receipt. I find it odd that you must keep it and show it for this reason: Upon them swiping your PP at outbound Immigration at the airport, your extension history is right there on their computer screen. That you paid for your most recent extension is already obvious to them. The same applies for those who stayed more than 6 months and got their ECC before departure; you shouldn't need to show the receipt that you paid for it in the past 2 weeks, as it shows right there on their screen if you paid for it.
Hi Guys,
This is a bit of a long shot but I thought I'd ask.
I have two girls keen on earning some extra cash (no surprise).
They are prepared to create accounts and set up an Only Fans page. The only issue is Only Fans won't deal with Filipino banks or G-Cash etc. , so they can't get paid.
I own a lingerie and vibrator business here in Australia and shoot Only Fans content for a few local girls but have also used Filipina girls in the past for our social media, so I'll be shooting all their content on my frequent visits.
Does anyone know of any girls doing Only Fans content or similar?
I just have to do all the ground work for these two.
Cheers in advance _ Phil.

Cheers in advance _ Phil.Look at online banks. I know my Wise account has real bank branch and account numbers that I can transfer in and out of very easily.
Alternatively can you gift them / her a prepaid $10 Visa and she transact through that??
G.
PS. What about just contacting another Pina creator and ask her how she gets paid??
Pretty sure Only Fans is banned in the Philippines. I had a girl a few years back who wanted to do only fans but couldn't because of this ban and asked me to setup an account for her. I didn't get involved as it would have been too much of a headache.
If I were you I would be wary of getting involved as well. You may be putting yourself in legal trouble by taking photos and putting them online of filipinas. I'm not 100% certain and I am definitely not a lawyer, but pretty sure porn is illegal. You might be safer shipping them out of the Phillipines to do your photo shoots or videos or whatever it is that you're doing in a less conservative country.
In my opinion, its just not worth the potential headaches. Steer clear.

I think many use off-shore agencies that take a big cut. I just don't want to get too involved with the money side at my end due to tax implications. Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone else is frequently getting DM's from guys who want an easy fix and request contact details of your contacts?
I'm always happy to help out and offer advice, but I'm not going to hand over the contact details of girls I've spent a lot of time to get to know.
My latest reply was this:
"Thanks so much for your message.
Unfortunately, I can't give any details of my contacts.
Basically as it would place them in danger as I receive regular messages asking for such information and I really don't know who I'm replying to in these messages. It could be anyone.
If you don't want to do the bar scene or your own ground work, tip the hotel security and ask them to find you a girl.
They will sort out all the reception issues you were concerned about at the hotel.
Hope you have great time!
Phil".
The adventure of The Phils is learning from experience. And that happens in any country. But I'm not prepared to do all the ground work for the newcomers looking for an easy way out.
The contacts I have, I consider friends. None are typical bar girls or hookers.
I'd advise anyone new to the forum to learn from the advice offered and create your own personal adventure. It will be well worth it.

And if I know the person in real life, they probably have my contact info in their phone so would contact me there instead of via DM here. Its a bit annoying. Just ignore them.

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone else is frequently getting DM's from guys who want an easy fix and request contact details of your contacts?
Constantly. What many fail to recognise is that:
1/. Because I like how a girl looks or performed, doesn't mean that another guy will too.
2/. Because a girl fucks me doesn't mean that she wants to be seen fucking 100 other foreigners.
You'd be surprised the number of abusive messages I have received after a recommendation because she didn't do XXX exactly as a punter wanted or a girl that I found spectacular in the sack simply didn't press the right buttons for another guy.
Let's not forget the guys who do absolutely zero research before asking the simplest questions: are AC hotels girl friendly?; where can I find the hottest stunners in manila?
I'm more than happy to help guys who put in some effort first and then ask specific questions but yes I too generally don't give out individual contact details, even to good friends, for the reasons above. Often info on how to find similar girls is of more use to them anyway. Guys can then go find what they prefer, not what I have enjoyed.
Enjoy. G.

There's a really good group of guys here willing to offer some great advice and experiences.
Those of us who travel frequently, or reside in the Phils, and have done so over many years, obviously have a contact list or some regular girls.
I think it was just worth pointing out to any newcomers to the forum that although we're willing to offer some advice, you probably won't get any contact details out of many of us via DM's.
Forget dating websites, or our contacts, and get your feet on the ground here in The Phils and discover how it all works.
Sure, you'll encounter some 'hurdles' along the way, but it will be worth it in the long run.
And if you're not into the bar scene, there are many other options. Just take the time to look through previous posts of the member's travels.

Think of it from the girls' perspective. Who would you be more drawn to: the polite guy, you met at the mall or food court, who asked you out for coffee or; the guy who WhatsApps you asking a nightly rate because his buddy said you gave great head??

I moved to the Philippines in mid 2019 and for the first 4 years lived in Cebu City. My first visit to Cebu City was in 2016, on a recce trip. I was then living in Bangkok but was getting restless so came to the Philippines to check it out with a view to a move.
I visited Angeles City, Davao City in Mindanao, and Cebu City and of course Manila, and considered all 4 places but in the end I chose Cebu City. Almost all of the pussy I had whilst living there was via the Internet dating sites, pinaylove and dateinasia. I had more than enough pussy to keep me busy, a mix of regulars and one-off meets.
My first trip to the Philippines was actually in the late 80's, to Manila, and I had the opportunity to sample some of the local girls via the bars. But my first encounter with a Pinay was actually in Sydney, Australia, a year or two earlier whilst on a 2 week holiday/vacation. I booked an outcall Asian 'massage' from the Yellow Pages phone book in my hotel room and she came to my hotel room. She was really beautiful, early 20's with a ravishing and voluptuous body, with beautiful skin, and gave a full girlfriend experience, with full sex and was quite ok with bareback and a CIP finish. I don't remember her name and don't have any pics of her, but do remember that she was very sweet and it was a really fantastic experience. It was the highlight of my trip to Australia!
Anyway, I lived in Cebu City from July 2019 up till October last year, but was getting restless. I was thinking about a move to either Vietnam or Cambodia but decided in the end to move up to Quezon City, which is part of Metro Manila.
As an experience I enjoyed my time living in Quezon City, especially with all the girls I was able to meet, but I would not want to live there again or in any other part of Metro Manila, too many people and waaaaay too much traffic. I moved out of the Philippines over the weekend and am currently in Nonthaburi in Metro Bangkok, and plan to stay here for a year or two. Getting around in Bangkok is a lot easier than it is in Manila because of the huge subway and skytrain network which covers a very wide area, unlike the skytrain in Manila which only covers a small area. They are currently building a subway system in Manila but it won't be operational for at least 5 years.
Personally, I think Cebu City is a much better place to live on a long-term basis in the Philippines than Manila, and if I do go back to live there I would definitely choose Cebu City over Manila which is choking itself to death with the numbers of cars on the roads and the numbers of people living there. Apart from the better quality of girls I was able to meet in Cebu City and the lower prices than in Manila, I think Cebu City has a real heart and a soul, and is more laid-back than Manila and I found the locals more friendly and more easy going than in Manila. The average price I paid for a girl in Cebu City was P1k to P1.5 k, v 3k to 4k in Metro Manila. All S/T.
Below, a few pics from last Friday with a regular in Pasig City. It was my last night in the Philippines and she might possibly be my last Pinay!

Hi Md,
I'd agree that Manila would be too hectic for me to base myself permanently.
Whilst I still have to reside at home for business reasons and an elderly father who requires care, there might be a very good chance in the future of me settling in The Phils.
I'm just not sure if Cebu City would do it for me either.
But that's the beauty of taking your time and visiting various places to see what might work long term.
Probably the nicest place I've visited is Bantayan Island off the north coast of Cebu.
But logistically at the moment it would be a real hassle if I suddenly had to fly back home if things turned to shit.
From there, it's a long haul just to get to the closest major airport.
Then again, I have a very close friend in Sabang who is amazing but all her family is there.
Time will tell and thanks so much for your observations.

I have 2 options landing at MNL. One is around 10 am and the other around midnight. Which is the less crazy time to get my bags and go through Immigration? That all depends on how many and what sized planes are also landing at the same time. I've seen Arrivals empty and packed at all times of the day and night.
10 am will have more traffic on the road to the hotel but by the time you do your clearance, get bags, taxis etc you will line up with the normal 2 pm check in time, get some rest and be able to head out for the night. A midnight arrival would see me basically loose the next day to sleep, jetlag etc and cost me another day's hotel stay for little benefit.
If it were my choice, I'd arrive at 10 am.
I don't know if it applies to you, but remember that you can now do the 29 day extension at the airport on the day of arrival. It's 3050 peso and about 10 minutes. That's much easier than processing it later.
Enjoy. G.
I have 2 options landing at MNL. One is around 10 am and the other around midnight. Which is the less crazy time to get my bags and go through Immigration?Hi Banana,
My flights always arrive around 5 pm so not in your time frame, but I've never had a problem with customs delays. Always straight through and never a bag checked.
For me the issue is where the plane is always parked. At the arse / ass-end of the airport with a short bus trip to the terminal and then a lengthy walk to the baggage belt.
My flights back home are always around midnight, so I get the full day of action before I depart.
As G mentioned, factor in the traffic once you arrive. A swift process through the airport can all turn to shit any time of the day or night with Manila's hectic traffic.
Just my experience _ Phil.

I've also been to Bantayan Island, and thought it was definitely worth the visit. I got a bus up from Cebu City, it was about a 3 hour ride and I don't think the driver went more than about 35 mph though the average speed was a lot lower! It's not a very good road, and when we arrived at the ferry terminal at Hagnaya Port we found out that all ferries that day had been cancelled because of the weather. It wasn't that bad, but the forecast was for it to get worse so for safety reasons all ferry services were cancelled. They couldn't tell us when the ferry service would resume, and some bus passengers took the next bus back to Cebu City. I found a hotel near to the port and stayed the night, not knowing if the ferry service to Bantayan Island would resume the next day, but thankfully it did.
In 2020 they re-opened the airport on Bantayan Island which had fallen into disrepair and was closed for a number of years, and direct flights are now available from Mactan airport.

Anyway, if you go there, BYO, and build in lots of flexibility into your travel plans, you may be stuck on the island for days in the row, the orders to cancel all water traffic comes from Cebu even if the local weather is fine, and it's enforced by the Coast Guard. Also if you're prone to health issues emergencies, just plan for the funeral arrangements, because it will take 5 hours under the best circumstances to reach the closest ER.

As of December 2020, commercial flights to the public and local tourists have yet to be announced. AirJuan is expected to resume Mactan Bantayan flights by 1st Quarter of 2021."
But it looks like they never did! I just had a quick look online and I can't find any flight schedules from AirJuan (I think that their website is dead) or from other other airlines.

The occasional flights in and out are only in small airplanes for skydiving. While I was living there few expats, tried to organize something with our own money to contract a plane or a chopper not locally, but maybe from a bigger place like Cebu, Iloilo, or Bacolod, that will come in case of an emergency, to take you to a hospital, so that you don't die waiting for the boat, but it didn't worked out, mostly because of the bureaucracy.

Speaking of airports. See pics. From PAL, the winter seat sale. While the pic boasts a price as low as p209 (first pic), I found all domestic fares in the p1100-1200 range (second pic). I think that applies to most of the islands to the north of Cebu. I've been trapped on Malapascua for days for the reason you mention. Trust me, when the dive boats are stopped, there is NOTHING to do until leaving the island is an option.Well you could enjoy the terrible Italian food that seems to all come from the same kitchen no matter the name on the door! Or at least that was the only options when I went there in 2017. Thresher Sharks were cool though.
And the boat isn't the worst part. The drive back to the airport from the ferry port was no joy either.

For lunch time I had the guy with the only "restaurant" on the north beach grill a huge fresh caught baby tuna for 600 p, me and my GF were eating, also we fed everyday 2 cute girls that were selling trinkets allover the island, and they figured out after few days that if they are around there at lunch, they will get fed (too young to be mongering candidates) and we had leftovers for a few dogs. Next door there was a fancy resort with people sipping bright colored chemicals from tall glasses, and eating fries, and burgers, looking down on us.

For short stays, I can recommend Poblacion as you can walk everywhere, even the port to go to Samal. I used hotels but I did see many condos between People's Park and Gaisano.
I had one disaster with AirBnB in Avida but YMMV.
Yours looks good for longer stays so it will be interesting to read how convenient you find it.
Good luck. G.
Having dated (and shagged) a few Filipinas, I have compiled my list of characteristics that appear common to this rare and special species. In my experience, Pinay girls:
- Will usually have a strange name: e. G. A made-up name, two names merged together, a normal name but with the same first letter or same middle name as all her siblings.
- Will come to your home or hotel with an expectation of getting fucked, or failing that, will blow you as a consolation prize, and definitely will fuck you the second time.
- Will have no qualms about CIM and will swallow, no complaints (opposite from Thai girls).
- Will have a clean, fresh, shaved pussy.
- Will cum easily and from licking, fingering or fucking.
- Won't let on she came even if you ask her to announce it.
- Won't allow anal, usually.
- Will usually tell you that her first sexual experience was at a fairly late age, and usually with her first BF or husband.
- Often got pregnant from her first sex.
- Will tell you she never wanks and is disinterested in trying.
- May be disinterested in condom use, possibly even opposed (thanks, Catholic Church!
- Has never had an STI panel done and sees no need despite her previous, cheating boyfriend.
- Unless she's wealthy, will inevitably and regularly have a financial issue that (she thinks) requires your immediate involvement: school fees, driver's licence renewal, sick kids, broken phone, make-up ran out, taxi fare, etc.
- Despite being quite wild in bed, may be quite reluctant when it comes to sexting or receiving dick pics.
- More likely than others to rim you, and without warning!
- Wants to introduce you to her family soon!
- Will tell you she loves you after just a few dates.
- When she returns from the bathroom we tell you all the gory details of what she just did in there.
- Will often go online asking questions like "how to please a man" and then arrives in bed prepared to get you off!
Disagree? Comments? I want to hear from you. Please share your stories and photos here!

The only smart thing I know of in the Philippines. First name is whatever they like. Middle name is the mother's last name. Last name is the father's last name. Simply brilliant to track one's family tree compared to the USA's way of any name, any name, father's last name.
If born without knowing who the father is then the last name is the mother's and there is no middle name.

- Will usually have a strange name: e. G. A made-up name, two names merged together, a normal name but with the same first letter or same middle name as all her siblings. The made-up name is her given name, such as Analynn or Maria. It might sound odd to outsiders. Besides Maria and Jenny, I've run into girls with boys names like Ross, Russ, and Mitch. Also Cherry, Candy, Langa (means to be loving), Love, Lovely, Girlie, and other words associated with sugar or candy. She will also have one or more nicknames, one given by her family, and others given by the girl herself. She will automatically mash-up her and her (current) boyfie's name. If Ana is dating Joseph, she might call herself AnJo, or SephAn, or such, and he might name one of her FB accounts as such. It changes with the name of the current boyfie. Both the boyfie and GF happily take this nickname while they are together.
That's their mother's middle name.I believe it's the mother's maiden name. All of a Filipino's siblings usually have the same middle name. If the mother's maiden name was Ramirez before she got married to Mr. Alvarez, the kids willl be as such: James Ramirez Alvarez, Jennifer Ramirez Alvarez, Maria Ramirez Alvarez, Samuel Ramirez Alvarez, etc. This follows a similar spanish tradition seen in latin countries.
- Won't let on she came even if you ask her to announce it.Pinay are very shy, at least at first. That follows to her deepest personality. She might have had a dozen partners who made her cum, and never told any of them, even when asked to announce it. One girl I was with had a specific bold tell that she couldn't hide. Red spots started to appear on her chest and neck as she got turned on, and about 1 minute prior to orgasm her entire face turned red, and her forhead and temples area turned a violet or purple color. Then a vein popped out right down the middle of her forehead about 15 seconds before the big O, spasmed wildly, and dissipated as the O dissipated. When I inquired, she said something like: "Oh I hate it! So much obvious and I don't want anyone to know"!
- Will usually tell you that her first sexual experience was at a fairly late age, and usually with her first BF or husband.I find it the opposite: They tell me they were 12, or 14 or 15.
- Has never had an STI panel done and sees no need despite her previous, cheating boyfriend. Its not done in poor countries. Her doctor will tell you that its better if she reports any STI symptoms to simply dose her with an antibiotic and call it an STI, telling her it might be from pelvic bruising from rough sex (or such), or a tampon that was dirty. Saves face for both the girl, her cheating partner, her cheating self, and her doctor.
- Unless she's wealthy, will inevitably and regularly have a financial issue that (she thinks) requires your immediate involvement: school fees, driver's licence renewal, sick kids, broken phone, make-up ran out, taxi fare, etc. This is both the bane and the joy of dating pinay. These constant emergencies require YOUR small dollar contribution, meaning you will have multiple girls in constant need, and offering the poon at fairly discounted prices compared with poon prison. Even hotties have regularly recurring emergencies (not to mention families that simply take her recently acquired paycheck).
- Despite being quite wild in bed, may be quite reluctant when it comes to sexting or receiving dick pics. For a variety of reasons. Shyness being one of them. It being illegal in Phils might be another. Having a Filipina's naked pic (even in various stages of undress) on your device, or even her own device, is illegal. Additionally most pinay are simply not interested in pics of anyone's Johnson. However they have an affinity to taking selfies, both clothed and naked (so I've heard).

Forgot to add. They celebrate annual anniversaries, months-aversary, and weeks-aversary. "Westy me and my boyfriend is having a 13-weeks-aversary this week". Thirteen weeks together? "Yes". I see. Does your boyfie know about this? "Yes of course". Just checking.

Interesting video on pinay phone use in relationships, from YT vlogger Irish, AKA "Smart Girl Philippines". Topic: The thing that will break up your relationship with your filipina.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR9U8NEoUR4
Warning, Irish is a bit more crass than Filipina Pea.
2:30 "And her little f*cking phone is the thing that will destroy your relationship". The phone will not only be her lifeline to everything else, it will be used by her family and others to wring money out you, and for her to flirt with other fellas (probably Goferring).
5:00 She will use her phone to make you a prisoner to your phone. She will constantly msg you asking for you to take and send selfies (proving to her that you are where you say you are) and to do other tasks that force your current attention to her, while she is elsewhere. She will not reply to your messages instantly, but she will get upset if you do the same when she sends you a message, even if you're at work.
6:10 She will want to carry on long conversations with you when you are apart (and you are busy), and she will want to converse via phone chat / msg.
7:05 Her phone is not your friend.
7:15 Establish ground rules for phone use while together: 1) No phone use in the bedroom. 2) No phones while eating. 3) No conversations over chat (conversations only in person, or on vid chat). 4) No unsent messages.
7:35 Establish that you want a relationship with her, not her phone.
8:45 She doesn't get to check your phone. You don't get to check her phone.
While everything above makes sense from a western perspective, the advice given by this pinay goes directly to the heart of filipino culture. Pinoy seem to have a cell phone glued (or sewn into) their hand. They sleep with it, I've effed girls here who held it in her hand at the time. They live on FB and games. Most of my mates (and myself) have one or other pinay in his life here who might never be broken from the habits the author claims. No phone while eating? No phone in bed? If you break a pinay from these habits, is she still pinay?

Fine members of the board: any recommendations on fun places to be for New Year's Eve in the Phils (or SEA in general). Doesn't necessarily have to be hobby related, although that's a plus for sure. I like large street festivals, open air parties, and the like (like Rio Brazil). Also need some plausible deniability why I'm there, so AC is kinda ruled out. I've been once to this fair land of plenty (Manila, Cebu City, AC) and also looking to hit a nice beach for a few days before or after (may Boracay or Palawan), but I also see recent positive posts on Sabang / PG. Thanks for any tips in advance, and always up for a meetup with beers on me.

Gents of the board: any recommendations for where to spend New Year's Eve in the Philippines (or SEA in general)? Looking for somewhere with a lively open-air atmosphere, like a street or beach party (Rio was great). I plan to hit one of the beach resorts before / after, so any suggestions there are welcome too. I'm guessing there'd be many options in Manila for NYE, and I'm reading good things about Sabang Beach / Puerto Galera for beach time (with good hobby options as well). Wondering whether creek out to Boracay or Palawan is worth the effort. I have about 10 days available for this trip. Many thanks in advance.

Hey, that's slanderous. I have full respect for guys locked in mom's basement, sending girls money every week, paying her rent and replacing the phones that die on a regular basis, without even meeting her. I think building her a house before he even arrives is an excellent way of ensuring her devotion, loyalty and chastity.
Pinas would never fukk around behind his back while he and 10 other simps think that she is at home watching telenovelas.
There are no opportunities for an enterprising guy to become a side dick for pennies on the dollar while Daddies are funding her lifestyle. Personally, I've never been interrupted midcoitus and been told to be quiet while she takes a call. I've never gone on holiday and thought it amusing when languages changes throughout the day as various regions wake up and come online. Nope, never happened.
Enjoy. G.

As G mentioned, I'd probably stick to Thailand.
Boracay might be great but it can be hit and miss. Sabang will probably see you alone as all the Koreans will have swept up the talent in advance.
Having said that, NYE in any place is usually a time for celebration and anything might happen.
Oh, and Sabang doesn't really have a beach these days.

Anyway, a big thanks to all those who have offered others valuable advice over the past year. It really is appreciated.
We all have different desires, intentions and objectives. But we're all on the same page.
On a lighter note, I'd like to congratulate you all for being compassionate and helping out those less fortunate than yourselves over the past year.
All those bar fines, lady drinks, tips and other cash we've all dealt out, has helped to pay for a family feast, helped some poor kid that's not your responsibility, pay their electricity bill, get their nails manicured, keep Korean business owners turning a profit and the list goes on.
Without your financial help and support, these girls would be a lot worse off.
You're all champions for assisting a very worthy charity. I hope, like me, you enjoyed the ride _ Phil.

....I have had few TB tests done a few times for various reasons.
Last time was for a visa application. At that time the doctor told me not to have too many TB tests done because after a lot of them, you can start giving false positives.
Apparently they are that sensitive that they can detect the few antibodies you produce in response to the injections given as part of the test.
Gert them done if you really need them, just don't get tested for TB as often as you do for VD.

Every 1-2 months I take a 2 day ivermectin treatment, is good against a multitude of diseases, TB among them, even if downplayed by pharma. I take it mainly for it's primary intended use: worms. We are at the tropics, worms may come, from water (not necessarily when drinking it, but in the eyes when showering, or nose, or brushing your teeth), food, etc, take many years to hatch, and cause irreversible harm.
It's cheap, and has no side effects.

Well its that time of year again. Time for the ACR, 1+ year fellas to report for a BI interview in January / February. I think you might be able to do it online now.
https://immigration.gov.ph/annual-report-season-for-registered-foreign-nationals-begins-on-january/
Here is the entire txt from the BI web page:
The Bureau of Immigration is set to kick off the 2025 Annual Report for all registered foreign nationals starting on January.
Registered foreign nationals are required by law to personally report to the BI within the first 60 days of the year, presenting necessary documents for the Annual Report.
Registered foreign nationals include those working, residing, and studying in the country, with ACR I-Cards.
The service, according to BI alien registration division chief Atty. Jose Carlitos Licas, Jr., is available in the BIs online platform at e-services.immigration.gov.ph.
The physical Annual Report for the BIs head office in Manila will be conducted at the 4th Level Center Atrium, Robinsons Manila, and at the Government Service Express (GSE) Unit of SM Mall of Asia, from Mondays to Fridays, excluding holidays, between 9AM to 6PM.
Apart from the two malls, BI offices nationwide may also cater to the reporting. #

From the BI website, crowing about its accomplishments over the past year:
https://immigration.gov.ph/bi-highlights-2024-achievements-eyes-modernization-in-2025-as-it-moves-towards-bagong-immigration/
From the article:
"MANILA, PhilippinesThe Bureau of Immigration (BI) closed 2024 with record-breaking travel figures and notable advancements in modernization, paving the way for streamlined processes and stronger border security in the coming years.
The BI reported a total of 14,540,533 arrivals, comprising 7,922,052 Filipinos and 6,618,481 foreigners, alongside 15,050,136 departures, which included 8,348,283 Filipinos and 6,701,853 foreigners.
BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado attributed the robust numbers to the resurgence of international travel and the Philippines appeal as a premier destination, as a result of the Department of Tourisms aggressive campaign to re-invite foreign tourists back to the country."
I boldfaced those two numbers on purpose. 6. 6 million foreign arrivals, and 6. 7 million foreign departures for the year. Two thoughts:
1) 2019, the last full year prior to Covid, saw about 8. 5 million arrive. Phils is not quite back to past year's 'full capacity' levels (not quite a record).
2) Regarding the roughly 80,000 more foreigners who left than arrived. Some reasons. The expats die. The expats have given up, and dropped their SRRV or 13 A, and just got TF out. Also I read that there were about 11,000 mostly Chinese POGO deportations last year; given the country usually only deports about 1,500 person per year, that is a dramatic increase.

Those are good numbers considering how bad the world economy still is. Also it is more expensive now to fly to Asia than it was in 2019.

But there are people who have money. More money than life! I have more money than life. I have money saved from the Covid lock down years. Well, I did until last year. I doubled up my mongering so much that my vitamin V couldn't keep up. LOL. But still a lot of fun. No regrets from 2024.

Mine United recently 2. 5 k but I bought 2 weeks out. Prior to COVID 1500 or less was common and that was for a good seat. Hotels and condo's seem about the same but yes airfare has increased and planes were full so doubt they will reduce anytime soon.

I travel 3 times a year from Australia and the average price is usually about $USD700 return with selected seats on PA.
I know it's probably a much shorter flight (8 Hrs) and our dollar is shit at the moment in comparison.
That's a lot of up-front money before accommodation and cash spent on having a great time with the girls.
Long gone are the days of a cheap around the world ticket I used to get via Asia, Europe and North America before returning home.
There was the Filipina on the way, the English girls which were easy to score from any pub (beers were expensive), the Moscow experiences where random hot blondes would knock on your hotel door and then the late night NYC bars where everyone got laid.
Those were the days_ Phil.

I still find cheap ones, but I'm never tied up on some specific dates or routes.
Had to go to Germany for some surgery, and for return I checked all 3 airports CRK, MNL, CEB. I got MUC-CEB one way for 500 $ on Eva Air.
Didn't fly the other way east for 3 years now, but I'll have to do it soon. Again because I'm loose like a leaf in the wind, I may fly to Hawaii, Japan, HK, or China first and take a separate flight from there.
Back when I was on a schedule it was different, had to pay whatever it was, but the prices were much lower then. Once I flew to China from LAX for $99, many times to HK for $299. Also the oposite is true, once I paid almost $3000 for a one way MNL-LAX, or maybe was SFO, because I missed the flight due to bad weather in Surigao, and had to be back in the states, like the day before.

Cheapest flights March to June, and the last pic is cheapest flights for a random day of Mar 3. Cheapest flight is on China Airlines, under $400 USD.
I have just bought 100 anti diarrhea tablets for future use. Is there any other OTC medicine folk buy? I am looking at ibrofen but not sure if I want such candy. I am often on long hikes and bad water etc has caught me out badly more than once (you don't want the details). As it is all pharmacies here, one must ask what is worth buying here. Other natural remedies are dark chocolate, the darkest you can find, aged cheese, parmesan type, or plain rice. Avoid anything else, especially no sugar, milk, coffee, or greasy stuff. Ibuprofen is anti-inflammatory, I don't think will do anything for the runs.

Imodium will stop it, but you want to let it run for a day or 2, the body is trying to flush out something bad. It is more likely some bad organisms eating all of the nutrients his body needs, which would mean they need to be destroyed immediately.
Imodium .Thanks but I am just stocking up on stuff for future use, not hetr. Good point about the body flushing out stuff. I often get caught short when hiking etc, mixture of my high fibre diet and bad water. Once on a 5 star hotel, all I could eat was plain omelette; I reckon it was water stuffing me up. I am here for aittle over a week mire and have switched to Western fare as the local. Stuff I'd aimed at local gullets, not me.
Thanks but I am just stocking up on stuff for future use, not hetr. Good point about the body flushing out stuff.I'm not sure where you are from nor your local prices but I haven't found any medicines in the PI cheaper than home. Esp now that generics are so widely available.
PI benefits are that you can often find anything OTC or worst case after a quick and cheap doc's visit. Also, medical or cosmetic procedures and hospital stays can be a fraction of the cost back home but as usual, research the quality of the institution before going under the knife.
Enjoy. G.
P.S. I'd agree that diahorrea is typically from the water or ice rather than food. It may simply be travellers diahorrea too as your body gets use to the new spices and tastes. I tend to let it run its course for a few days, stay hydrated and then resort to immodium if it lasted any longer.

I just arrived to the Philippines, and I made a few distinctions that can be very useful to fellow hobbyists:
1. The Airport WiFi is not reliable. A great way to prepare for this is to buy a travel eSim before arriving from the Globe App, then as soon as you arrive to any Airport in the Philippines, you can activate it and have internet to access anything you need at the airport or outside for 30 days. You can later on get a different eSim if you plan to stay longer. This is a convenience that lasts for 30 days then expires.
Here is the link I used: https://www.globe.com.ph/international/traveler-sim.
2. As I am planning to stay longer than 30 days, you are required to have an exit ticket / an Onward Ticket. Usually, I buy a cheap Cebu Pacific ticket then since those cheaper ones are not refundable, just forfeit the money.
But a found a cheaper option here: https://onwardticket.com/.
You will find mixed reviews about it, but I confirm it worked for me, and I know the source of the confusion.
When you activate a ticket from that website, it lasts only 48 hours then it gets cancelled.
So the trick is:
1. Buy a ticket choosing the date as around day 29 or 30 AFTER you arrive to the Philippines.
2. Only activate that ticket within less than 48 hours from your arrival date, so if they check the database it will be active and working.
To do this, there are 2 options: (1) Buying the Onward temporary ticket the day before you arrive to Philippines, (2) but that is a bit too risky for me as I like to plan in advance, so there is the option to activate the ticket "later".
Then, when you arrive to the Philippines airport, you can activate your Globe eSim, and use the internet to click the Onward Ticket activation link they have emailed you to have a fresh active Onward Ticket to show if necessary.
These were 2 new discovered for me, happy to share and pay forward.
In my research, I also found it is possible to use this app to get eSims before arriving to a country, but I have not used it yet:

But a found a cheaper option here: https://onwardticket.com/.Some years back, some fella posted a similar link. That website made a reservation in your name for a legit flight of your choosing, then emailed you the reservation details including the airline reference number, then cancelled the reservation, all in the blink of an eye. They charged $14 for this service, and I availed and used the service. I recall choosing an outbound date 25 days after arrival. I was aware when the Immigration officer would ask for my outbound ticket, that it was already cancelled and worthless, hoping he didn't check. However he didn't ask for anything, he just stamped my PP and waved me thru.
Symp's site sounds similar. Symp, what is the cost of using the site for this service?
Symp's site sounds similar. Symp, what is the cost of using the site for this service? It's probably the same website because it used to be $14 which is what you mentioned, and now it costs $16 for any ticket.
For The Philippines, this might be more necessary than before because you require to fill in eTravel as a foreigner before you arrive. And in the eTravel website, they ask you to put in your flight details with the flight number etc. No clue if the backend checks whether it is legit or not, so might as well spend $16 for the peace of mind.
However, as far as I am aware, what usually happens if you don't have an exit ticket is they ask you to buy one using your phone or an office there. So in that case, someone without an onward ticket but who has internet can use OnwardTicket only if the officer demands it. It takes a couple of minutes and you will have that temporary ticket ready to show on your phone.

OnwardTicket only if the officer demands it. It takes a couple of minutes and you will have that temporary ticket ready to show on your phone.Instead of doing this I buy a ticket for to Singapore from Cebu pacific and pick "GO Flexi" this allows you cancel and instantly get the money back in a non expiring travel fund and rotate this ticket as needed. The travel fund is non expiring so I use this to buy tickets for people or myself or just rotate this fund again so I have a legit ticket. $0 paid to use this as you get the money back. I don't think it refunds the airport tax so never add that onto the ticket.
Last year arriving at Clark, I had to produce my onward tickets, which was a return leg which most would have. I imagine an onward ticket is always essential. I got bushwhacked by the new evisa system and I got my card filled up at Manila airport with great difficulty. I am unsure why anyone would spend $17 or so for a fake ticket.
Why not keep things simple?

Once CP went to non-expiring travel fund, I started doing exactly what you do.

Some of the inbound fellas want to stay past the initial 30 days, and did not take the time (before arriving) to seek out the 59-day visa; they want to buy a 1-way ticket to enter, and then decide later when to depart. Alternately some fellas want to stay indefinitely, and thus just want a 1-way ticket into Phils. Either way, they must show an outbound ticket. Paying $17 is small potatoes to game the system, so that you can ignore that outbound flight without paying for it once you enter, and decide later when to leave.

The prices for services that are net inferior to PH, performed in saunas, maybe with better looking girls, are 10 X PH, and the guys are all excited about the evening gowns that the girls are wearing, now I know for sure where all this bullshit comes from, spilling in to the PH, asian imbeciles having Hollywood gala fantasies, instead of sexual ones, ruining the view for everybody, and helping conceal undesired body features, like a belly or mosquito bites sized boobs.
It appears that a few hours in a sauna, with clearly professional, well predefined services may set you back around USD1000.

I'm in the ph right now and having a good time.
Couple of days ago I met a really fun and good looking girl in Manila. I'm traveling to Palawan today and have invited her to travel with me for 3 days. She's flying over in a couple of days.
Her company will be a lot of fun.
I was wondering besides paying for the trip how much should I pay her for the 3 days? What seems like a fair price to you guys or do just have it depend on the service she gives during the stay?
I'll write some reports on the forum for yesterday I had a 19 year old sweet girl that it almost felt wrong to be with her until she was in the bed and transformed into a wild thing.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help.I assume a couple of days because she has work commitments and is joining you for the weekend?? If that's the case, she may be offended by a straight cash for fun offer. It's normal to pay all travel, accommodation and meal costs. Be nice and get her some souvenirs or a bikini and some pasalbulong (gifts from travelling) for her friends and family. Costs will be trivial, maybe 2-3 k each category.
Did you pay her for the Manila fun? If so just pay her the same day rate. 4-5 k per day is fair. Remember that hookers can't eat Aircon and nice sheets so don't expect a discount because you are treating her nice.
Enjoy. G.

All the others, thank you so much for your reports and information. Was reading all posts from August 2024 regarding the Phils, took me around 2 weeks LOL, and got all information that I need and even more.
It will be my first time at The Phils, will stay 30 days, I have travel experiences in Africa, but there with a partner, first time alone on the road. And hunt.
Again, Thank you.
I came across a web site recently offering really cheap Tadalafil. 20 MG tabs for 90 peso each. That is roughly 10% of the Cialis price for a 20 MG tab, should be good for 4 days fun. Lots of other prescription and non prescription stuff available as well.
An obvious scam thinks I, but a little googling says it is most likely legitimate so I decide to try.
I ordered 10 tabs, 900 p to get the free shipping over 800 p. Pay by card. It arrived from Manila to Cebu province in 6 days, plain packaging. In Manila might be able to get it in a couple days. They listed a pick up option but I never really looked at that. One full card of 10 tabs well packed.
There were a few questions posing as a medical review because it is a prescription drug, but easy to see which were the correct answers to get approved. Questions took about 3 minutes and approval was instant.
I tried a half tab to see, and as far as I can tell it is the genuine stuff. Two and a half days later, still easy to get really hard erection. Which is pretty good for a guy in late 60's.

Thanks for the help.If it's a straight forward transaction type companionship, I would pay less than the daily rate, because it's like a guaranteed 3 day BF, that she may not get if she stayed at work. The fact that you're offering her a vacation is nice for her but if she's loosing potential income over this, that's not putting rice on her family dinner table, If her BF was 5 k then I would pay her 2-3 K / day depending on how many gifts you're buying.
If she's kind of your future GF, and no previous monetary transaction was involved, I would still ask at the end of the journey nicely if she needs any money, and give her a 5 K "pocket money".
Also you have time 3 days to do a gentle interrogation, to find out more about her situation, and needs.

But we keep coming back for more and that says something about the place.

I didn't do this long term renting for 3 years, I have a steady GF now, maybe the prices have changed, but I assure you that the ones I had in tow were turning heads. 2-3 k is all they get from the BF anyway, If they accompany you, they get the same money and is guaranteed, back at the bar they may not get BF. On top of that they are getting fed in nice restaurants, and get to take selfies for their tiktok or fb.
The girls in the pic: one was rented for the above mentioned amount, and the second one came for free being my GF at the time. I can't show their faces, but from what you can see, I don't think they fall in the ugly category.Well done.
These past few years I am paying 3-5 k a day per girl. I have known the girls a while so we are compatible. I have taken probably 8 girls. At the most 2 at one time. Been to Boracay and El Nido and Alona resorts. Had a good time with all. The girls didn't demand 5 k a day, I just felt like paying it.
BTW, the girls have rent, food and family expenses to pay while on vacation with you. That is why they are working. Rent and expenses don't take a holiday when you take them on vacation.
...and one I know just got 20 k a day to Boracay, granted she is a beauty...I haven't found prices to be directly proportional to looks and definitely not attitude / performance. 20 k is either she didn't want to go with the guy in the first place or she had her sense of self value distorted by IG or Seeking simps. Unfortunately the later is becoming more and more common.
ID see a civilian accepting a weekend away from work including some gifts for her and her friends as totally achievable. The same for a commercial arrangement at repeat customer rates.

I came across a web site recently offering really cheap Tadalafil. 20 MG tabs for 90 peso each. That is roughly 10% of the Cialis price for a 20 MG tab, should be good for 4 days fun. Lots of other prescription and non prescription stuff available as well.

It just happened, first one said that she wants her friend with her, then later she said that her cousin from Manila will like to join us, I said no, but when she showed me the picture, I would have ditched both of them for the cousin, so she came on board too. It appeared that they all call themself cousins, but they are not related, so the orgy had full cooperation, just like intended, no blood relatives there.

Yep they are just fine, obviously I'm shopping in the wrong area. You're in the right place, all it takes is patience.
Yeah I know many have suggested this. Too dangerious for me Ill pass. Cartels or drug lords watch out for white Americans. Law and order in allot of these places does not exist. You think the ones Trumps ICE is currently picking up and shipping home won't be pissed, no thanks.Fair call Loco.
I've looked at other locations or some alternatives, but the Phils always delivers.
And sometimes it's worth the extra travel for a fulfilling time in place you're familiar with and enjoy.
If the Phils does it for you, then go for it. Just still can't believe the airlines screw you guys before the Filipinas do.

For first-timers or people who haven't been in a while.
Coming from the US, here are the current entry procedures.
ETravel app has become the only entry requirement. You must fill this out within the four-day window of entering the country. For example, if you're entering on the 20, you fill it out on or after the 17th. ETravel replaces all immigration and customs-related paperwork. When completed, they will issue you a QR code, and it will be scanned later.
Upon exiting the aircraft, you will be taken to immigration. There are two lines: one for Filipinos, and one for non-Filipinos. The line moves pretty fast. They may ask you for a plane ticket to show you are leaving within 30 days, as this is a requirement. I am asked probably half of the time. If you don't have one you can show them, it could be trouble. Make sure you have one just in case. It is easy to book a refundable ticket or even rent a ticket for $14-16 that self-cancels. After getting your passport stamped, next is baggage claim.
Here, don't expect to leave soon. In my experience, it takes forever. It seems like it gets longer every trip. When I can, I try my best to keep it to a carry on to minimize wait time. Plus, less baggage to lug around is better. Helpful hint: roll your clothes when you pack your luggage and it almost doubles what you can pack.
I don't think most of us have to worry about customs. This is where you have to scan your eTravel QR code. If you don't have one, they will make you go online and fill one out. If you don't have a phone with data connection, this is hard. It's better to do it before you ever leave your home country. There is no free WiFi in Terminal 1 that is reliable.
After clearing customs, it is up to you what you do next.
Helpful Hints.
- Bring cash with you and change it at the currency exchange. I was happy I did this on my last trip because no ATM in the lobby was working. Just make sure your bills are crisp and clean. They will not exchange dirty or creased bills.
- Bring a phone that is unlocked and get a local SIM card. I personally like Globe PH. Download the Globe One app and you can get an eSIM, then load it. The Go99 promo has calls, texts, and 18 gb data. If you're usually on WiFi in a hotel or home and you use mobile data only when you're outside, it's more than enough, and for about $2 per week. There is no need to get the "unlimited" data SIM cards you see in the airport. It's about $60 per month, and I would rightfully call that a scam.
- Download the Grab app. It's the Philippines version of Uber. Don't be the sitting-duck foreigner using the taxis. I've taken Grab from the US Embassy area to Terminal 4 and paid about 250 php (about $5), whereas a taxi had quoted me over 2 k php ($40).
- If you're staying in Manila, consider a hotel that has a free airport shuttle. Most of the hotels that offer this are not the nicest, but they are clean and nice enough. If you need a ride, go to the Grab kiosk and book your ride there. Do not use the Grab app at the airport. In my experience, the drivers give priority to the kiosk and will not take the booking from your phone at the airport.
- Sometime after April, the new company managing NAIA is going to remap the terminals again. All international flights will be routed to Terminal 3, in the new plan. This is really good for several reasons. There is a foot bridge from Terminal 3 to Newport City across from Terminal 3. If you don't mind walking to your hotel, it is free. There is Savoy, Belmont Hotel, Marriott, Megaworld, etc. These are probably some of the nicest hotels near the airport, and they seem to be girl-friendly, too.

Arriving Filipino and foreign passengers;.
And Departing Filipino passengers.

The funny thing about filling it out before you arrive is they ask for your hotel / address when staying in The Phils. I usually stay one or two nights in Manila before moving on and they accept the initial Manila hotel address as your primary location. Travelling to Russia quite a while back, they wanted to know 'everything', besides what you last had to eat, to keep track of you while you were there.
The best thing about eTravel is, it now eliminates the need to find a pen, hotel address and your passport when awoken mid-sleep on a flight to fill in an arrival card. You do all of that in five minutes at home a day or two before you depart.
Despite the mayhem on the ground in Manila, once you stroll through customs without a question asked or a bag checked, The Phils is still one of the easiest places I've ever had to enter.

I always fill it up, they never asked, this was first time I didn't, and the officer made me do it. He said is mandatory once you enter, even if you stay only one day, and if you open the app it kind of looks like is waiting for you to finish the trip, with a departure. Good they didn't asked for the visa extension, because I had it, but I couldn't find it on line.
Maybe he didn't like me, or maybe they don't bother, but this time did because my GF didn't had it filled up either.
Also don't forget the visa extensions, they didn't ask me for it this time, but every single time before.Same for me last trip. She didn't even ask about length of stay or visas. It was me that asked whether I could get 59 days immediately rather than finding a Immi office later. She referred me to the office in the airport. It was a super easy process. The longest part was finding the exact cash to pay them.

_ Phil.Agreed.
I travel light and, if I can avoid the bag weight Nazis at departure, often I'll sneak my bag on as carry on. This makes the longest part of arrival finding a taxi.

Thank you gents.Hi Fleaker,
I usually get all my Pesos via online foreign exchange before I leave home and it just saves all the mucking around when you're on the ground in the Phils finding the best rates etc.
Additionally, you don't have to worry about getting cash when you first arrive when you can be heading straight to your hotel and getting straight into the action or catching up with a contact.
I've always returned home with lots of pesos and just keep them for my next visit.
Just an alternative _ Phil.

I'm not used to the online exchange thing as I'm not from the US. I come from México and I have learned not to exchange here to a 3rd country's currency as you lose way too much.
The best thing for us is to 1st exchange to USD or EUR and then to the local currency on arrival to the last country.
I want to go to Shanghai, Bangkok, Philippines and Japan next month.
Not planning to play in China, just some shopping.

Thank you gents. The airport has a fair rate, just a peso or so below the street vendors. Street vendors have the best rate. Specifically, there is a vendor located next door to Sunette Towers, called Hanady. On Abaca St at corner Durban St, just across the street from the Durban Hotel. Just half a block from Burgos St corner Durban St. See pics.
Best to either bring a small amount of pesos from your home country (hit up your bank a few days prior to travel), or alternately hit up the airport exchange for a small amount (ie, $50 USD) initially for taxi fare and a meal, before hitting the street exchangers.

I exchanged at the airport but if any of you knows a better place, I'the be happy to know. This being 2025, I would say the ATM. I came out of immigration today and as always walked right over to the BDO ATM. I did 2 withdrawals of 10,000 each, plus 250 peso fee. The total out of my account on each transaction was $175.23, for an exchange rate of 58.49. Schwab will give me the 250 peso fee for each transaction back at the end of the month. Here in Angeles the exchange places are saying 58.10.

I am still confused about the legal situation in the PH.
It is clear, prostitution is illegal for the hookers, not for the men. But regarding the age, I see a lot of preoccupation here regarding the age and ID card.
To be with a girl, the legal age is. ? (I just saw the 16 years thing from some years ago, when the law changed).
So, had anybody really problems to be with a hooker?
And had anybody really a problem to be scammed by a false ID card?
And is the "legal" age for our "illegal " hunting 18 or 16?

I find the Globe One app to be disorganized and dysfunctional. There is an area in the app where you can make payments to your account from GC or a CC. But I could never get the CC part to work (even though my CC was in their system already when I signed up for post-paid service), especially when I was out of the country (or so I thought). When I returned and waltzed into a Globe store to show them that it would not work, I got: "Oh. No sir. Of course not". Good sir, was it because I was out of the country for a month? It also hasn't worked since I returned. "No sir. You want to change to your new credit card?" Yes, the old one was fraud-frozen by the bank. I have a new CC account now. "You can't do that". Why not? There is a place in the app for adding the new card. "Yes sir. But you can not do that in the app". Why not? "It does not work sir". Then why have it in the app? "I don't know sir". So how to get my new CC info in? "I can do it here now". How to do that the next time I am overseas for several months? Don't you guys want to get paid? "You must come into the store sir and show your ID". How quaint! He entered the new CC info. Fixed.
Or not. A week later I flew to NCR for a spell. The next day I started getting emails and txt msgs from a debt-collection agent in Phils, for my recent unpaid Globe bill. "We will not hesitate to take you in the Court". Waltzed into Glorietta to the Globe store. Explained the sitch. The guy took 30 minutes to fix-my-sitch. "Its fixed now sir. It will bill automatically to your new CC. Its the app sir. Its not good at this time. Problemas". Thanks guy. Two days later, "We will not hesitate to take you in the Court". This lasted less than a week and I went back to the same guy. This time 40 minutes. "Fixed now sir". Wasn't it fixed before? "No sir". I was shocked to hear that. Finally the delinquency notices stopped.
Or not. A few months later they started again. Walked into the province Globe store to inquire. "Ignore those. It will stop". And it did.

Basically I came to the conclusion that all the 3rd world official apps were written by somebody's nephew, because it only works and looks good if everything is perfectly in line with what they had in mind when they wrote the app, any detour from a normal transaction, will result in catastrophic failure, just like ordering a big mac without the onion at McD.
You can buy a Globe 5 G SIM almost anywhere, and register it yourself at:
Agreed. However my aim was to arrive with working load. Ie top up from home. Since I don't have a working SIM now that has now expanded to get a SIM and load from home. Like others getting the telco's apps to work, with a foreign card, from home has been no joy at all.
Not ideal but I'll just get one from the Globe desk at arrival. I need data at the airport so buying in town, while cheaper and easier, is of no help to me.
Cheers.

Hello Friends! Asking this question while the topic maybe fresh in people's minds -.
Asia experts: How does Philippines scene look around Christmas and NYE? Is it fair to assume that being on the religious side. Most girls would take vacation around this time to be with Family and Friends and it would be slim pickings this time of the year? How does it compare to the rest of Asia (say Thailand / Japan / Vietnam) over the same time period?

Cheers.I bought a phone in the Philippines a couple of years ago. It was mid-range, at about 6. 5 k. Bought a globe sim, and it worked great. I just did the pre-paid load, as it is good enough and I have wifi most places I stay.
My problem was that it would not load or work when I came back to the US. My gcash, Lazada, Globe One app would all stop working because I needed a OTP, and I could t receive it.
That phone was dual sim, and I thought I would get a pre-paid sim and use it here, but, even though the IMEI number check said it would be compatible with the network, it wouldn't work. Come to find out, the phone was not compatible with the US cellular bands.
I wanted a working phone as well when I came went back to the Philippines. So, what I did is buy a cheap used iPhone SE 3rd generation for about $150. It has space for a physical sim and is also eSIM compatible. I loaded it and it worked fine. I get OTP texts just fine now in the US for my Philippines needs, and even weather alerts, etc.
If you get a compatible phone with eSIM, just download the Globe One app. You can load it from gcash, register it, and good to go. Gcash makes things convenient. For whatever reason, if I have load balance for Globe, it won't let me convert load balance to buy a promo. It's stupid hehehe.

Hey guys,
I've been wondering, do you use your real photos when hunting for freelancers in Tinder, Pinalove etc?
Or do you use some fake photos and try to stay discreet?
I'm asking because my trip is in a few days and I'm not sure what to do about this.
Thanks.

Different topic. Exchange rates. Sent myself a remittance, from my home country bank to GC. From the pics you can see that there was no fee, and that the remittance service gave me p56.02 for each dollar they took from my bank account. The exchange rate at the time was p58.7 per 1 USD. Thus representing an approximate loss to me of 58.7 - 56.02 = 2. 68 pesos per dollar on the exchange.
Other remittance organizations offer a higher exchange rate (better for you), but they usually charge a fee of a few USD (worse for you).

It is usually about one peso less than the exchange rate. The cash in rate for most places to gcash (if you have cash) is at least 15 pesos per 1 k, or 1. 5 pesos per hundred, so not much difference.

Thanks.Philippines and AC are small places. I like to keep things sperate and don't want my work colleagues knowing I'm on PL.
I successfully used https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/ and keep refreshing until I find someone like myself. Remove any watermarks.
I have a legit pic on whatsapp. They rarely remember the PL profile as they get so many messages. I just say I lost weight since I did that profile.

Yes I have a phone that works in all the (non US) countries that I visit whenever I install a local SIM. It's not that old but it doesn't accept a eSIM. Not sure why and it's not worth me changing phones over. Resetting all the new settings, apps etc to what I want would take longer than getting a SIM at the airport upon arrival. This time I'll actually keep it so that it can be topped up online. I might even do a test 50 p top up before leaving.
It would have been good to arrive ready to go but it's not a deal breaker.
Thanks again. G.
P.S. I often loose access to OTPs etc when swapping international networks. No idea why but if I still have wifi, then I will receive the SMS even if there is no roaming Telco data connection. Now I just make sure to do all that type of stuff in a hotel room with a good connection.

Thanks. You need to include "a" photo or your profile will be prioritised last when shown to girls. Any girls that you do message will be unlikely to reply as no pic screams psycho or scammer.
Whether the photo is you or not depends on your security requirements. Do you care of family (wife? Sees you online. Some guys don't want any traceability at all. Remember that photos can be reversed searched so it's a good idea to use a clean photo that cannot be connected to your work, Facebook account etc.
Girls are getting more savvy now too. I've met plenty that would not chat with an unverified subscriber. This brings up it's own issues. How trusting are you to send these apps copies of your formal government ID to get the 'verified' tag?
As you can see it's a trade off. The most secure will see you get no / few matches or chats. Being Mr Popular entails sharing info that many guys are not happy to have broadcast everywhere.
Personally, I don't post actual pics on apps but I'm happy to live video chat with girls that I'm actually interested in.
Enjoy. G.

What's up OG vets, anyone traveled to Philippines lately?
I am planning a trip this coming spring and I am UNVACCINATED.
Do I still need a PCR / Antigen negative test 24 hours prior to the trip? Or just do the etravel thing?
Looking to hear your experience. Is this still an entry requirements?

Just go online and get a eVisa for 30 days and you can extend this for another 29 days.
But if you stay longer than 30 days you will need a throw away ticket as airline will want to see this.

Looking to hear your experience. Is this still an entry requirements? They do not ask vaccination status on eTravel, and that is the only entry paperwork to enter the country. For entry, I think you are fine if you are unvaccinated. Now, most places do not ask for a vaccination card anymore, but it's the Philippines, and places can do almost whatever they want. I haven't been asked for my card in over a year. Some places, such as hospitals and doctors offices, do still as you to wear a mask, however.

You don't beat around the Bush. LOL!
If I were to live in Metro Manila, your recommendation is Rent the Condo.
Never purchase. Correct? It comes down to personal preferences but, to me, the Philippines is an inherently economically unstable country. The SE Asian expat market is a bubble and, unless one stays in one's lane, it is hard to blend in; one is a target or oddity of one sort or another.
In my recent visit, I noticed rents go up 10% or so a year, irrespective of how the overall market is doing. That, to me, is a bubble, as it makes no economic sense.
When one buys a place, one rents it or lives in it (rents to oneself). I don't like to be a landlord in the Philippines and I don't like to be like one of those Japanese soldiers stuck there after the War.
That said, there are plenty of Europeans claiming they are doing well in Angeles. But sitting around a bad or cafe all day every day with nothing but my jocks on doesn't really hit the sweet spot for me.
The three rules of property are location, location, location, with a bad location in a good location being better than a good location in a bad location. I guess if I had to go for anywhere in the Philippines, it would be a surf type place (Bali is better). Though some like university towns, I would not like to be renting bedspaces to impoverished students.
I have a lady friend there who would like to have a sari sari store in the Visayas. A nice lady but, with hold ups, assholes and 10% rent increases, I don't want to make it my Vietnam.
I get it that the Philippines is cheap. But you can buy houses in Detroit for a $1, which is a good deal if you are ex Korean Special Forces.
As regards buying a Condo in Manila, I would opt for settled, upper class (over priced) areas and be prepared to take a major hit on it.
These are just my ideas, as I freeze here and the lure of Pinay muff whispers sell up and move to Borocay in my ear.
EDIT: You can check out relevant indices here but, as all property is local (Chicago ain't Detroit or LA) I am unsure how helpful they are in an odd ball market like SEAsia https://www.google.com/search?q=philippines+proiperty+index&rlz=1C1GCEA_enIE1106IE1106&oq=philippines+proiperty+index&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIICAEQABgWGB4yCggCEAAYCBgNGB4yCggDEAAYCBgNGB4yDQgEEAAYhgMYgAQYigUyDQgFEAAYhgMYgAQYigUyDQgGEAAYhgMYgAQYigUyCggHEAAYgAQYogQyCggIEAAYgAQYogQyCggJEAAYgAQYogTSAQg1Mjc5ajBqNKgCALACAQ&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

You can download the app or just do it online which I do.

Save your reference number (+date of birth), take a QR-screenshot, save the QR-code in Safari, or even print it on paper for immigration.
Be aware that the eTravel system sometimes crashes and has to be handled manually, causing delays at immigration counters.
As the price of air travel is not getting any cheaper, I have been busy on skyscanner, kayak etc looking for bargains flying from Europe to Luzon. Although the Chinese airlines seem to be much cheaper than the Gulf States ones (Saudi seems to be an avoid at all costs airline), I have been looking for cheaper alternatives, like going through KL or Singapore with maybe a stop over for old times sake.
Any idea what is the cheapest way to do it from a small European airport via a European hub and then onwards? Last time, I stayed overnight in Heathrow airport and it near killed me. I marvel at Americans who can flit across the States and then the Pacific like it is nothing. To me, it is a lot in time, in money and in wear and tear.
I can't say I like the Philippines but compared to the Stalingrad that is Western Europe, it has its attractions, not the least of whom are the 1 k-2 k panties droppers.

I'm not European but here there are major savings by getting a general idea of the cheapest airlines and travel periods through Scanner, Google Flights etc then sign up with notifications to those airlines' websites. They often have alerts for discount fares between your nominated airports. However, you need to be able to act quickly. Heavily discounted flights can be only a few seats and sell out very quickly, often a day or two.
I only ever deal direct with the airlines. Never travel agents, consolidators etc. they reserve the cheapest deals for direct sale and should any problems arise, then there aren't 27 middlemen
Good luck. G.
PS. It's often cheaper to book between the capitals and domestic connections separately ie to MNL plus MNL DVO is cheaper than one ticket to DVO

Scoot to Singapore form either Vienna or Athens seems a good deal, and then a cheap onward Asian fare from Singapore. KL seems another hub worth travelling through. Last time. I "saved" maybe $400 or more for slumming it for a day or so in airports but it does take it out of you. There is also the principle of paying over the odds, something the cheap Charlies here should know well.

If you book domestic airfare via airasia, is cheaper, not by much, but it is, than the respective airline's price. So I book CP on airasia's app.

PSA. Vid from Filipina Pea, regarding various laws in Phils. She interviews a pinoy lawyer who debunks the concept that vendors and hospitals can take and withhold your passport. Back in the 2000's when I first came here, hotels routinely took my PP at check-in, giving it back when I paid up and checked out. Around 2012-14-ish, that stopped. According to the lawyer, your PP can only be confiscated from you only by LE or Immigration for investigative purposes (3:40 in the vid).
And other odd legal Phils info.

I guess maybe it depends on country origin?
As far as I know, the blue passport I carry does not belong to me, so it is not something I can lend out.
I understand it can be taken from me, but don't think I am free to lend it out.
Back in the 2000's when I first came here, hotels routinely took my PP at check-in, giving it back when I paid up and checked out.I can imagine that was the case Westie.
Back around the same time, I was checking into Russian hotels and it was like checking yourself into prison.
(You had to take multiple photocopies of your PP for when the dodgy police stopped on the street you asking for your PP / ID).
That said, the blonde 'room service' in Moscow was amazing.
Never had an issue in The Phils and most hotels accept my local driver's license as ID.
Always good to keep an eye on the local laws though.

The other week coming in to terminal 3 the money exchanger's rate was USD1. 00 - 57.90 pesos. The official prime rate was 58.11.
Which no one gets the prime exchange rate. I have found the Terminal 3 rates to be very good. At times better than street money exchangers. The only downside side is having to show your passport, if that is a concern.

Manila international airport (NAIA), Terminal 1 -- The yellow and white taxis are now across the two frontage lanes, then down a steep, pedestrian ramp to the right. But they will still rip you off, just like everything else in the country. I was charged 700 for a 450 ₱ trip to Makati in a yellow, metered taxi; my friend, 2 weeks earlier, had been charged 1500 peso in an unmarked car.
My driver switched the meter off (it was on initially to con me), and also kept the customer copy of the receipt, so I could not complain. Use the Grab app if you can but that is problematic for newbies with the patchy wi-fi and general tiredness. Best avoid the place like The Beatles did after getting battered in 1966!
Philippine sim card top-ups are either short-changed or disappear completely the next day. That is why I am leaving very early and heading to civilisation in Thailand. Days of head-banging grief in The Philippines just to get a local phone number. In Thailand it takes 5 minutes in a 7/11. You have been warned! As for the women: a can't is a can't.

You go to the machine to decide which plan you want. It prints out a paper, then you go to the cashier to pay. The cheapest plan was I think 75 pesos.

As far as the SIM card issue, it is better to download the Globe One app prior to entering the country. You can get a local number on eSIM and avail a promo before you even arrive. Or, if you're there for a short time, just use your phone plans roaming feature.
Sure, friendly scammers are waiting for you. Just know what the scams are (taxis) and avoid them. Grab or Joyride (if you're fine using a motorcycle) is the way to go.

The Philippine cellular top-up system is crazy-complicated in terms of calls / data / validity. The longest one can buy is only 30 days; in normal countries load does not expire so rapidly. Plus, there is now organised larceny by the cellular providers. I lost P350 loaded at Globe's main office in Makati and my friend lost P200 of a P449 top-up (Smart network) at 7/11. In both cases the loads were acknowledged but then got cut.

It is hard to believe the authorities have not clamped down on the P1,500 scammers by now.
s far as the SIM card issue, it is better to download the Globe One app prior to entering the country. You can get a local number on eSIM and avail a promo before you even arrive. Or, if you're there for a short time, just use your phone plans roaming feature.Thanks. I originally thought eSIMs were data only but maybe numbers are coming online now. How long do they give you to register your number and documents with the government? It is normally 30 days for a physical SIM. Is there a similar eSIM service prior to arriving in Thailand?
I thought it really oppressive having to upload selfie, passport, proof of address and ticket out just for a local phone number! Even then, they never approved the application via text and I had to go into Glorietta Globe store in Makati to find out the status. They said it was working, then regaled me with dozens of Machiavellian promotions, packages, durations and countries. I settled on P350 for unlimited calls/texts & 3GB data, valid for 30 days. Paid cash into the machine, confirmed the load, but the balance was P1 back at my AirBnB, without any usage! How can anyone monger or do business in a country where they spend half their time in phone shops sorting out this crap?
There is clearly now institutionalised theft by Globe and Smart of customer's loads, shortly after paying, loading and displaying the new balance. Also happened to a friend using Smart. There is a reason why tourist arrivals to Thailand outnumber those to the Philippines by over 5:1 ! Philippine cheating and incompetence levels meant I cut this trip short to go to Thailand, where one can buy and top-up a SIM in any 7/11 within 5 minutes and the SIM does not have to be registered for 6 months. At Bangkok airport I just go up to the departures level and take a metered taxi dropping passengers off; we are both happy!

The other week coming in to terminal 3 the money exchanger's rate was USD1. 00 - 57.90 pesos. The official prime rate was 58.11. Which no one gets the prime exchange rate. I have found the Terminal 3 rates to be very good. At times better than street money exchangers. The only downside side is having to show your passport, if that is a concern.ATMs should beat money changers who have to deal with physical cash -- but the rates can be quite close with the best MCs. Airport ATMs, like most in town, only dispense P10,000. HSBC in Ayala Avenue, Makati, dispenses P40,000, which is useful if you are paying the local skin tax of P250 per transaction.
Addendum: given the taxi and phone hassles outlined in the posts below -- plus high P4P prices and the Korean influx -- is the Philippines still a worthwhile destination for our hobby?

Addendum: if any of those are concerns then best to stay away from PH.

Sure somethings are blindingly frustrating but the same can be said of other countries too. Especially for a for a first time visitor.
I don't see PI as expensive when comparing like for like in other areas of Asia. PI, LOS and Indo all have $20 online or street options thru to $200 gogo nights. It's a mistake that many are making to compare $20 girls in one area to $200 in another.
There has always been someone else to blame. 30 years ago it was the Japanese. Then the Chinese. Now it's the Koreans. Soon it will be the Indians. The truth is that while some are complaining, others are still having a great time. For the two extremes have a read of my provincial exploits or Sir Lancelot's redlight reports. We both had a great time in very different ways.
Go have a good time. If you don't like it, that's fine but don't fall for all the hype and rule it out before seeing for yourself.

If you don't like it, that's fine but don't fall for all the hype and rule it out before seeing for yourself.Wise words. However I am still not going to get far online without a local SIM card that the operator doesn't steal the paid load from. I did ask the American resident, who invited me, to obtain an extra SIM card in advance -- but he refused. I asked for his Wise account name to 'Buy him a coffee' -- again he refused.
The PI does seem to attract the type of people who can tolerate its 'Third World' character, exonerate its inefficiencies and duck physical requests for assistance. I was here in PI for 3 months in 1988, when life was simpler and calmer: without cellphones or Internet. Sad to see what effects they have had on formerly-pristine Boracay island, and even GI-ruled Angeles.

The truth is that while some are complaining, others are still having a great time. For the two extremes have a read of my provincial exploits or Sir Lancelot's redlight reports. We both had a great time in very different ways.Sir Lancelot got what he wanted. He beezed about, shot some pool abnd speared lots of young women, which he admits is the reason he went there. As he worked within a 10 day time frame, stayed beside Walking Stand stayed sober, his visit was a success for him. He did not find the love of his life but he was not looking for that. (There is always Broken Britain, as he says).
All that said, there are lots of downsides, as walking St is a dive uilt on aslum. The food is problematic (as in geting sick), petty crime, noisy bikes, weather, a long way to travel and so on.
But, in Sir Lancelot's case, he got what he wanted and, if it is within his budget and so on, then success.
One of the most obriong things in life is loking at people's holiday pics. There was a time when overseas travel was exotic. That ship long ago sailed.
Pussy in Angeles is no different from McDonalds or Jolibee, the difference being that, as Sir lancelot affirmed, it is much cheaper and more pleasant. Jolibee with a smile andan ice pair of boobs.
Edit: I am more price conscious that Sir Lancelot. However, given the amount of bonks and their quality he had, he came out leagues ahead if bonking is ourt unit of currency. I am at home now and have a chance of a €100 bonk, which is very cheap here but which would be considered very low quality in Angeles. As my carnal needs have subsided, I am best putting that €100 to the price of returning to Angeles or some similar place. YMMV.

Enjoy.GI agree with G. I think almost anyone can have a good time here if you are open minded and know what you want. Honestly, if I am going to the Philippines for a month or less, I am not worrying about a SIM card. I'm just roaming and using my US number. It is an extra $50-$100, and isn't worth the hassle otherwise. And, for taxis, you live and learn.
If you are maarte and want a city with your 4-5 star hotels and women to match, your options are maybe limited to Makati and Burgos. Lower the bar for where you stay and the city a little bit, and maybe that's Angeles. And so on and so forth. As for me, I love the province. I didn't do a pussy your like G, mostly because I already have two ladies and don't need that. But I've experienced things that most on this board never have, and probably never will. And, for me, that is part of the draw. I'm at home on a jeepney or tricycle, and I'm at home on a motorcycle going up a rocky mountain road. I love rice and and I'm not picky about ulam (and I can cook most Filipino food, too).
It's all about what you're looking for and what you can and will tolerate. Jarango has a post in the "Living in the Philippines" thread. There are a lot of drawbacks. My biggest pet peeve is how long it takes for everything. For most things, you have to just show up and wait. No matter what it is. It's annoying. But, if that's really the worst I have to deal with (and it doesn't happen that often), it's not really that bad, and good days far outweigh the bad ones!
Well it's that time again, when I'll be doing another frequent Business / Pleasure trip to the Phils in few days.
(I hope to add a few reports along the way).
Yes, I'm a Cheap Charlie, but most of us are, who either make multiple visits a year or live in The Phils.
I'm on a fairly tight schedule with work over the next few weeks and will be in and out of Manila quite a few times.
Good news is, today I've lined up all my Manila contacts in advance, so there's no need to go on the hunt.
For the newer guys, and I may have said this numerous times before, to keep in touch with your previous encounters works wonders.
You can avoid the barfines and expensive lady drinks by setting your own terms, as opposed to the bar rules they adhere to, and you can reward them personally for a job well done.
Sure, the vast majority will be at you for cash all the time once you're gone, but it's best just to ignore them.
They'll be back for some action in the future, and as soon as you say you'll be back in The Phills soon, it's like flies surrounding freshly laid shit.
Just my experience and I'm now fully booked for Manila.
If only this phone would stop pinging with "I love you messages".
Enjoy the game _ Phil.

It can be the Madagascar of SEA in terms of third-world frustration, despite the English-language veneer of modernity. Those unlimited-call SIM packages do not include landlines or international, only cellular; businesses normally use mobile numbers to accommodate. Moderate data load is important for Grab taxis, apps, or even locating a store in a warren-like mall without signage, information desk or staff to ask. Try chain-restaurant Zark's excellent beef burger patties (P95): e.g. 3F of Glorietta 4 mall, Makati.
Which meet-up sites and locations in Manila do you find best for your '$20+ online or street options'?

Which meet-up sites and locations in Manila do you find best for your '$20+ online or street options'?I'm struggling to remember making a regular phone call on my last visit. All of my voice or video calls were data or app based eg WhatsApp or in app on Grab etc. I doubt I sent more than a handful of sms's.
I've got a pretty extensive contact list that I fall back on but online I'm pretty much exclusive to PinaLove though I am starting to test Facebook too. WRT locations, I don't go searching for streetwalkers but will meet girls at a 7/11, JollieBee or similar if she doesn't come straight to my room. I will admit that $20 in Manila propper isn't going to be a stunner. Away from the foreigner ghettos it's very doable.
Enjoy. G.

I arrive again tomorrow and I've already basically got everything lined up in advance and it avoids the hunt.

Those unlimited-call SIM packages do not include landlines or international, only cellular; businesses normally use mobile numbers to accommodate.Who is talking on the phone like that these days? It is 2025. You can send messages all day long on whatsapp. You can message pharmacies, doctors offices, and damn near anybody. If need be, you can even call people on whatsapp. These days you only really need the data. Most people I know will not even answer the phone unless you first message to ask if they are available to take a call. For me it is much easier to message and be able to respond at my leisure. I am never sitting by idle as to where I can take calls. It actually frustrates me when people call. Even my parents know to send a message on whatsapp.
even locating a store in a warren-like mall without signage, information desk or staff to ask. Try chain-restaurant Zark's excellent beef burger patties (P95): e.g. 3F of Glorietta 4 mall, Makati. Which meet-up sites and locations in Manila do you find best for your '$20+ online or street options'?You are supposed to ask the security people where the stores are. But I know what you mean. I was in Robinsons and they had only one of those screens to look the stores up. I was in H&M and the lady told me to check Uniqlo. I asked where is Uniqlo. She pointed out into the mall abyss and said that way. Took me about 15 minutes to find that shit. Would make sense if malls were still actual malls, but these days they have so many twists and turns that you end up walking in circles not being able to find what you are looking for.
Why do chicks always want to meet in malls? I tell them it is better to meet at a place outside. A mall full of people is too big to be trying to track down one person. Somewhere you can pull up to and walk in and immediately see the person makes more sense. I understand that in many third world countries being in a mall is their pastime. At home I shop online and have no need to go near a mall. They are phasing out in first world countries.

_Phil.This is where a little patience is of great assistance. A platonic coffee or Jollie burger on day 1 for a shy girl often results in her coming over to say thanks on day 2. This is a lot better than scaring her off by insisting to meet straight in your hotel room.
Of course, we also have the other extreme: girls who do not want to risk being seen with a foreigner in the wild so will suggest coming straight to the hotel.
It's not difficult to play both ends of the game.

In Thailand, the rules are fairly well-defined in the pay-for-play market but, in The Philippines, one is dealing with a 65%-higher population (115 m vs. 70 m, in just 42% of the Thais' land): quite-poor women just seeking a meal-ticket / ATM in life. The ageless saying: "Men want a woman's first love; women want a man's last love" & Professor Dawkins' 'The Selfish Gene', highlight the disparity between male and female behavioural directives.
Although there is a spectrum of hooker-to-harlot-to-hopefuls, they are all fundamentally seeking the economic security of permanent relationships. Time works relentlessly against them: Asian men consider women over 25, who are still single, to be potentially-poor marriage material. After age 30, there is a distinct loss-of-attractiveness, especially in mothers.
So, what do we have to offer for the puki? Certainly not marriage in a no-divorce country, with imprisonment for adultery! Meals, gifts, money, some attention (mostly sexual); possibly a mixed-race child to a single mother. Hardly the objectives of their dreams and long-term support imperatives. For guys with a conscience, it is a bit of a conundrum. I personally don't expel any wrigglies to worsen the country's overpopulation problem and, contrary to most nationalities, Filipinas are mostly okay with that, if a supportive relationship is present.
It is very easy to play the field, especially with provincial gals, whom amorous males could visit in endless rinse-and-repeat cycles across the republic, or merely in the capital. Actor Michael Caine (91), rhetorically asked in Alfie (1966, aged 32): 'What's it all about?" How do you reconcile male sexual imperative with females' desire for permanence? And what is fair compensation for their short, or long, time company?

And what is fair compensation for their short, or long, time company?Fair compensation will be different per gent, the same way that beauty is different for each gent. You or I might think that both 2000 and 2500 are both reasonable or fair amounts for a given time with a given girl. But to her, one of those numbers is a 25% increase over the other (or a 20% drop).
OTOH, I could make the point that p400 is fair compensation for the same girl in the same situation. What if the same girl, whom I'd paid p2000 to before, had such an extreme emergency today that she told me she would do ANYTHING for a fast p400. Should I commit with her to give her 400, then have her, and then give her P400? Or P2000? Or something between? I think there might be multiple right or wrong answers there.

Asian men consider women over 25, who are still single, to be potentially-poor marriage material. After age 30, there is a distinct loss-of-attractiveness, especially in mothers.
Poor marriage material in what aspect? The way you say, they are only looking for someone to be attractive for the first 5 years of marriage. After that, what do they do with them? A woman is going to age the same whether she is married or not at a certain age.
To me, there would be more to marrying a person than their attractiveness. Is she helpful? Do we enjoy some of the same things? Do we like being around each other? I married her because she is young and pretty are ridiculous qualifications. That is like buying a car because it looks good. Damn how it performs and the reliability and maintenance.
I am 52 and would personally never get married. But if I did then it would probably be to a woman who is at least 30 because she has had some life experiences and has shown some resilience. I do not want to be trying to train anyone, especially someone that may not even be trainable. I want someone who is already prepared for the job.
A couple of days ago my mom had me go buy tires for her car. She was insisting on Michelin. I said mom with Michelin you are paying for their advertisement. There is more to a tire than a name. Tires actually have grades written on them, and as to the grading these Falkens are a better tire and cheaper to boot. There is more to a woman than how pretty she looks.

But to her, one of those numbers is a 25% increase over the other (or a 20% drop).Fair is what you agree on with the woman. The other day I had a chick at Manila Bay Cafe (or whatever it is called these days) first try to get me for 4000, then 3500. In the end, it turned out that 2000 was actually fair compensation.

And what is fair compensation for their short, or long, time company?I think it all comes down to what your intent is? If you are just wanting sex with someone who is selling it, then that is what it is. Most women know about condoms and birth control and have the choice to insist on using it or not. As does the man. If she doesn't use it and gets pregnant, then that is on her. For every man that would turn her down for wanting to use a condom, there is one who wouldn't turn her down. But, contrary to what some people think, fucking a hooker (or even taking her out for dinner and an activity before fucking her) isn't a date. Some YouTuber has a whole series about dating a bar girl. How to get her to go out with you for bar fine, etc. That isn't dating!
If you want a relationship with a girl, then treat it like a relationship. But don't fake it just to fuck her, especially when it is so cheap to find a lady for a couple thousand pesos if that's all you want. When you pay a prostitute, you pay them for their time, but you also pay them so they go away; it's part of the game. But it isn't like this for a relationship. That's about giving your time, care, and attention. It's not just sex. I'm blessed with two awesome Filipinas who are about a real relationship, and I have children with both. Of course money becomes part of that equation then, like it does in any relationship. But, as one should be in a relationship, I was careful before committing to either woman. Both women are too proud to rely on just me. In fact, the second one wanted nothing at all. I had to convince her to let me help some with building our house, and then opening a bank account to put money up to save for our child. And she sends me picture of her account balance each month just to show that she isn't using that money.
I think it all comes down to what your intent is? Having read positive reviews of it, I tried to watch Anora, a movie about a rich Rusisan kid (Xpartan?) who falls for a New York stripper. Do yourself a favour and miss this tripe, which is a cross between Pretty Woman and a bad report here. The start of it is good with the bored lap dancers milking the punters but, after that, it is tripe which Wikipedia informs us is "comedy / romance". Outside of some good boob jobs, I se no upsides Maybe it is me as guys falls for hookers with or without good boob jobs.

Ooo, I always do, and I do it in a nice deceptive way, so they may take it as I'm into the ladyboys, and answer truthfully: "you look gorgeous, are you a ladyboy by any chance?" , also I do the videocall, but still, I want to see the goods before letting them into my room. I'm a very nice guy, and even if they don't meet the standards, I refuse them nicely, making up some excuse, and give them few hundred peso for the trouble, you never know how you may run into them, or their friends in the future.I am not so nice with it. I rub it in and make them feel ashamed for trying to pull some bullshit. I especially would not give them money for wasting my time.

Have you considered that you may be slightly overthinking things? Just a little?
I'm just having a good time getting laid.LOL. The beef at McDonald's is 90% lean while the beef at Burger King is 80% lean. At Burger King they tend to flame grill which locks in the flavor from the fat. At McDonald's they have a special sauce in which they have combined mayo, ketchup, relish, and Worcestershire.
At what point do you stop the analysis and technical shit and just buy a burger and eat it? Dude has to be an engineer or statistician. I know one board member who is an engineer, and after his trips he compiles all these stats. Hell, I can't even remember the names of the chicks I fucked.
Got to love this place.

I especially would not give them money for wasting my time.I know that I'm nice when I don't supposed to be, but I'm just thinking how desperate they must be and I don't want to put them down more than they are already, few dollars doesn't mean nothing to me, and my time is already wasted. To top it off I must say that also I'm not the confrontational type, and now that I'm old I try to avoid embarrassing situations where yelling may be involved.

Hell, I can't even remember the names of the chicks I fucked.I remember a poster who had been preparing for a trip for months, chatting to girls online, getting details and planning dates. He built a massive spreadsheet of times vs names, prioritised by looks with backup plans A to Z should girls flake, arrive late or be Godzilla.
I think I'm the end he fucked maybe two girls over two weeks.
I prefer to just arrive and start messaging. The first to knock on my door wins 1000 peso. If they are fun, then they get to come back again.

Goferring, do you think Manila is better or Pampanga is best to use as a base station for fun? I have been to Pampanga prior to 2018 but from all the reading here about AC. I won't waste money in AC bars for 5's and 6's. I am leaning on trying out Manila. But concerned the offer of 1500 or 2000 pesos might work better in Pampanga area? Yeah I know I could simply change hotels. But curious about your opinions. And if others want to chime in- cool! I have in the past used PinaLove and Tinder. From the way I discern Angeles City (Pampanga) area. Lots of ladies are simply not wanting to be Stuck at bar. And prefer to be freelancers.

You don't say what your situation is and what your preferences are.
AC has cheaper girls, accommodation and food. Guys only go for one reason so time to nut is low as girls won't expect any games or prelim dates. Girls are available online, off the street, out in suburbia and, obviously, at the bars. 2 k shortimes are very doable. If your staying a long time, there is very little (nothing? To do besides drink, fuck and sleep but the airport does have good domestic connections to other far more interesting areas. Descriptions of AC as a shithole are very accurate.
Manila is huge so let's define the discussion to the areas popular with foreigners. It's a chaotic mess. Having a girl to come see you from the other side of town can easily be a several hours exercise. Everything is more expensive than AC when comparing like for like. Some bars and girls eyewateringly so. 2 k would be really limiting your options. Lots of nice areas to stay and a lot to see and do when not fucking. Everywhere has ugly and pretty girls but the cream of the crop follow the money and end up in Manila. You are also far more likely to find an absolute stunner simply walking down the street or in a shop buying groceries. Manila airport has connections to everywhere and often multiple flights per day.
Why not visit both, allow some flexibility in your bookings, and stay where ever you like the most?
I should emphasise that I don't hang out at gogos any more, dislike AC and haven't been back for years so I might be biased.
Having said that: if I only had a few days, I wouldn't even leave Manila; if I had more time then I would include AC and stay longer if I liked it.
Enjoy. G.

"Immaculate" may be a bit of a stretch. Especially when we're done with them.Kenji me old mate.
It's remarkable how they all bounce back into perfect condition.
Never had a dodgy vag in The Phils and I must say, there's been a few of them.
Additionally, tits have never been my priority, even with Western women.
Ie: Size has never really mattered, as long as they've got them and they're not fake.
But to me, there's just something about the stiff brown nips of a Filipina.
I just can't put finger on it.
Right at this moment _ Phil.

Mr G,
Once again very impressed by the research based analysis for replying.
Great to see the better to regard the differences between the 2 cities.

Thank you Goferring. Interesting since I assumed Manila would be cheaper (for the Pinalove app date requests) - maybe I should just hang around Pampanga and get a decent hotel there and call it a day. Last trip these three ladies were an indication of quality. Circa 2018. The Central Park Hotel. The one to the right was from a Wolf Pack bar -one from DIA and the other from a Perimiter bar. I would be happy with similar types in looks. I had done Jakarta twice and the ladies there are much better in looks but Indo is different and like you said about Philippines. There isn't much to do. Although in Pattaya there are some things to do. And one can walk on the beach road. But I digress.
I am just scared to death by the lack of good looking ladies in the AC bars and I would be betting the farm that enough ladies are willing to come back to my hotel if I return to Philippines. Plus one poster about 15 posts back (maybe on Angeles City thread) - stated that the AC bar girls are all wanting condoms now. If that attitude has crept over to the apps like Tinder and PinaLove. I'll have do pass on Philippines. But I see Westcoast is a BBFS master. So maybe there is hope!
Thanks. Just want a "sure thing. " Sorry if I am whining. For what its worth the Philippine ladies are the Sweetest and I would like to get back to that GFE I experienced there. But they got to be semi-hot and at least a 7 out of 10 and provide BBFS!

If you really want to have a woman, it does not matter that she is a cherry girl, a supermodel, or a Korean only girl, you can have her regardless of your looks, for the right price. They are all the same, they are in the bar to fuck for money, otherwise they will be as far away from there as possible.
Thank you Goferring. Interesting since I assumed Manila would be cheaperDon't forget my caveat: like for like. A PL girl in Manila will be cheaper than a AC barfine but that's not like for like. Manila barfines are more expensive than AC and Manila online is more expensive than AC online. Again all things being equal.
I wouldn't regard any of the recent photos of AC girls as ugly. Sir Lance and friends seemed to do well for them selves.
Don't get me start on Jakarta comparisons. If you're there now, don't leave. $30 for two 19 yo's at the Classic? Ain't going to get that anywhere in AC or MNL. 😁.
Enjoy. G.

Was browsing recently looking for a domestic flight here in Phils on the PAL site. Having chosen a flight based on date, time, and Premium Economy, while going thru the process of purchase, I pulled up the seat map. All of the Prem Economy seats were open. I wanted to go back to the previous page to check something and I hit the BACK button. I was directed to the previous page, but then this popped up (see pic). A warning that I should hurry, as seat selection was in danger of closing. Oh my! I went forward and chose one of the available 18 open PE seats (all of them were still available).
BTW the difference in price between the Economy seat and the Prem Economy seat, all-in, was about p900.
