Ha. So much nonsense going on. Very entertaining. A: Nobody is looking for you, you'll be fine. Be: A girl mouth-spinning on your dick isn't anything special. I agree with whoever said it's hard enough to teach a Pinay to give a good handjob. And blowjob, forget about it. They either excel or they don't.
The true secret to getting your mind blown sexually is getting edged. I have a friend, on occasion, who will blow me for 2-3 hours. Like she thrives on it, she loves it, she gets off on it. If I'm about to cum, I push her away and regain control. This continues for hours. She considers it an honor and tells me not to cum even when I want to. When she finally agrees to allow it, literally after 2. 5 hours, she will do it slow and steady, and fellas, believe me when I tell you, you will get close to blacking out. You will be so spent, it will take you many minutes to recover, perhaps days. Forget this red rope stuff. Find a girl who will do that.

Thanks to all those that replied.
Yes, I can put up a random picture of someone that vaguely looks similar. The only issue is that I won't be able to get 'verified' status.
I was verified on Thai Friendly (near identical platform) and that used some kind of software and camera on my phone to confirm that I matched the photos that I uploaded.
I doubt freelancers are that bothered whether I am verified or not though.
I suppose it would probably be possible to use some kind of app to alter my own picture so it looks similar to me but I'm not identifiable.
It would be a real shame to miss out on PL, I really don't fancy paying the ridiculous bar fines in Burgos. I don't mind paying the girls the going rate but paying the same amount to the bar kinda sticks in my throat.
Thanks for the advice so far.

Like everything in the Philippines, cash solves all problems. Pay the $25 for membership and Pina Love won't insist on verification. 99% of girls don't care.
You seem to be overthinking everything. The girls are expert at meeting and extracting cash from guys. They will be the one hunting you. You don't need to go to extreme lengths just to get laid. It's much better just to turn up, bring some cash and have some fun. Preplanning to the nth degree is not required and is actually counter productive.
Burgos can be fun but I'd agree that there are many different alternatives at all different prices and effort required.
Enjoy. G.

I'm getting the simulated red rope experience, my GF does the "helicopter" with her tongue, and thus I never had the real red rope performed on me, I imagine it feels kind of similar minus the visual special effects. If anybody knows about such a place, doesn't matter where it is, let me know, I'm going there to try it.

Enjoy. G.Good advice. And yes I do try and over plan everything. I did the same when I went to Thailand and once out there soon realised it was wasted time as all I needed was a pocket of cash and a hard dick.
I'll definitely get the paid subscription to PL in the month leading up to my visit.
Appreciate your advice, thanks!

I don't mind paying the girls the going rate but paying the same amount to the bar kinda sticks in my throat.Mate, I used PL for the first time just a month ago, after many prior visits to the Phils.
It worked our really well in Boracay which is not really a mongering destination. But then again, on the same trip. I managed to get as much action just by chance, or by thinking outside the box. PL is another great tool to have. I just don't like to spend half of my day messaging chicks.
Just put in your profile, "I'm just after some short time fun" or similar. Tell them straight up what you're after.
I agree with not paying the ridiculous bar fines, which I've made mention of many times before.
After paying airfares, accommodation etc, I may as well visit a brothel full of Chinese chicks back at home. Sure, I reward girls appropriately, but I take out the cut the bar and mama will take. And they're generally happy with what they can get.
Just remember, if you unearth a great performing Pina at the right price, keep in touch with her via Whatsapp and she'll sort you out on your next visit and you won't have to go on the hunt again. Just don't send them any cash when you're back at home.
Remember, we're all playing the game. Us and them.

I've got two regulars similar to that, of course no where near that length, maybe a hour. They do though really enjoy it like licking a popsicle when you've been in the desert a week.
Most though just get the job done, that's ok too but a girl who really enjoys it is a real treat and hard to find.

One of the places that hardly finds a mention here is "Secret Door". I spent 4 nights and 5 days in Manila area. Had some business work. Mixed pleasure along the path. Will post my experiences in snippets soon. Anyway, the most important part I wanted to mention is what is possible at Secret Door after 2 AM or so. It gets crowded. Many FLs or even bar girls start showing up. Buy them a drink and take them to your place. No worries about barfines or unnecessary mamasans. One of the nights I was hanging out waiting for a couple of bar grils who had agreed to show up. There was a petite girl who started chatting. She liked to drink. Bought her a drink and we were just having a nice time. She was open to coming with me or she had some ideas on how to book short-terms around burgos. This place is lively after 2:30 AM. Stay later until 4 or 5, you can land some good girls who are drunk a bit. My $0. 02.
On my latest trip, I landed up going to a place called Bel Air Soho which is very close to the action.
https://www.agoda.com/bel-air-soho-suites/hotel/manila-ph.html?cid=1844104&ds=aWj3Ii9hIAXSt85U
I met these two girls in secret door well past midnight. We were sipping some SML and vodka. One of the girls (lets call her K) asked whether I wanted to get to action. I looked at both of them. The other girl (say S) said that she was in cycle and she asked me to head out with her friend. I mentioned that I needed to register and it will take a few hours. Then S suggested that I use her room in Bel Air. K took her room key and we both went to Bel Air for some action. It was a 3 K affair since I nutted fast in my round 1. Let's say that there was lots of action in Secret door and I couldn't hold for long once we were in the room. I was there until 6 AM or so. BTW, I did not carry hard copy of my passport during my visit and I think K paid 100 or 200 pesos to get around the security checks. Rooms were decent and fairly clean. Something for mongers to consider.

Worst experience ever leaving phillipines in the morning. Went to iron horse tonight in Burgos street! Found a cute girl grinding all over me spent $12,000 pesos on our drinks with mamasan! Even tipped good! Go to city garden hotel only to find out the girl doesn't have government ID. As soon as we leave she starts I'm so shy sir drama before we even get to the hotel. Then she try's to get me to pay to go a hotel iron horse owns instead! I returned her back to the club! Told mamasan the embarrassment I just endured. Then she tries to give me uglier girls. I told her the only girl I like there they bring her over and because I have a full size penis says 30,000 to go with me! Instead of the $5000 agreed with the other girl. P.S. $4600 bar fine which after enough of a scene they paid me back! Brutal trip in phillipines worst girls in the world and scams! I'll stick to Colombia, Brazil, Thailand.

".Went to Angeles city to start the trip it's the most disappointing place for looks got myself wasted and even with beer googles saw maybe 6 hot girls all with little Koreans in the street. Terrible quality there! Saw hotties in Palawan with there 20-30 range boyfriends looking for that USA or Australia passport. Best girls I've seen so far! Passport bros is the new way here or Korean minute man!

With the explosion in remote work, many have dollars to throw around and the potential of a visa jackpot. They are no longer broke backpackers living in $5 beach nipa huts.

With the explosion in remote work, many have dollars to throw around and the potential of a visa jackpot. What is a 'visa jackpot'? You meant the potential to stay, long-term, on a work or digital-nomad visa, or tourist visa-waiver? I suspect most just use the latter; who would know what they actually do in their apartment?
The Philippines introduced a Digital Nomad Visa in June 2023 to attract remote workers and boost its tourism industry. This visa allows individuals to reside and work remotely in the Philippines for up to 12 months, with the possibility of a 12-month extension. Visa holders are exempt from local taxes on international income and are restricted from engaging in employment with Filipino employers. To
apply, remote workers must be employed in a foreign country and meet certain income requirements.
Student and normal-job 'hotties' simply don't have the time to go to Palawan. They are busy 6 days a week, and need the seventh to rest, clean and do laundry. Girls with free time to accompany foreigners to remote provinces will be unemployed, between jobs, or seeking work abroad.
What is a 'visa jackpot'?Everything you said is correct. However, I was referring to Chad falling in love, getting her a visa and taking girlie back home.
That's far more attractive to some girls than a retiree planning to live in the province , on his pension , until he dies.
Cheers. G.

From my first interaction here just testing the waters to now wanting to subscribe. Thank you for the awareness and tons of information.
In this platform where it all began. Burgos, Makati.
This is where my story started.
2016 to 2018 double life in full swing. Morning duty as a Nursing student, white uniform crisp, heart heavy but determined. Then night falls. And it's straight to Burgos. The street that doesn't sleep. The street where I played my part one of the discreet street girls, walking through flashing neon signs, not just for the thrill, but for survival. For tuition fees, for medical equipment, for a dream.
I still remember the confused glances "A nurse in Burgos?" they'd ask. They thought I was in character. I was. But not the character they imagined. I was fighting for something bigger.
And now, seven years later, I walked back through that street. Not as a girl trying to make it. But as a Licensed Nurse who did.
But the sadness hit too. Some faces didn't change. Some were still walking, still stuck, controlled by substances, by circumstance. That pain stays with me.
Yet in all that darkness, I met my Naughty Angels My Guest / Client who became friends for life.
I carry every memory with me good, bad, and everything in between.
Now I'm not just walking.
I'm running toward the NCLEX, striving for my next level.
And I'll never forget where I came from!
This is my truth. This is my strength.
This is Burgos to Board Exam!
I'm just lucky I had my reasons, my drive, my goals and I made it out!
But not everyone did. That kind of sadness sticks with me.
I'm sharing this not for pity, not for shock but for hope.
This isn't just my story. This is a reminder that no matter where you start, no matter how messy or painful your journey gets, you can still rewrite your ending.
You are more than your past.
You are not your circumstance.
And you are never too far gone to rise.
Fair warning: a long and rambling post with no action reports. Just my ham fisted arrival into Manila.
I nearly fucked up during my home country check-in. I made the mistake of forgetting that I had a dummy ticket and saying the I'm staying 58 days. "Can I see your visa, Sir? Had to back peddle fast, hand over the $10 dummy ticket from Top Onward Ticket and convince him that I was indeed leaving in 24 days. Crisis averted, he finished check-in and actually let me on the plane.
I usually arrive on Cebu Pacific into T3 but am trying another airline. I arrived into T1 late-ish at night. Flight was ok and only delayed by 30 minutes. Lied to Immigration that I'm only staying a month so arrival formalities were pretty easy and quick. No one asked for an onward ticket but I did have to scan the eTravel QR code. Lines were short but as usual moved at a snails pace. It was late so I didn't worry about finding the Immigration office to do another in-airport visa extension. It's been literally decades since I've been through T1 so I couldn't find an open Globe desk for a SIM card. Maybe closed for Good Friday, who knows? Grab booth was at the far drop off lane tucked away to the right, out of site. A line a mile long and painfully show due to staff manually checking in customers one at a time and repeated wifi crashes. After waiting forever, I found out that we can in fact use the App on our own phone but pickups are in a different unmarked area. If hailing yourself, go to pillar A5 to 6 for pick up. Using your own phone also allows the usual in-app card payment. The Grab booth is way slower, charges a premium and only accepts cash payments to the driver. I'll be doing it DIY next time and bypassing the Grab Booth entirely.
The car arrives after a few minutes and we are off to a one night transit in the cheapest hotel I could find on Burgos. I stayed at a complete shit hole apartment last trip so didn't want to stay there again. We arrive and it's the same place!! The owner had just changed the name on Agoda. Cheeky fucker. A room inside the Citadel Inn, right on Burgos. It's still a shit hole with broken doors, hasn't seen a paint in decades and the wifi doesn't work.
I walked over to the 7/11 to grab a P59 Globe Sim card. Way cheaper than the airport so I was happy about that. Or so I thought. Back in the room, still no wifi so I bought a global roaming pack from my home telco as I need to download the Globe App to activate the new Sim. For whatever reason, the app recognises the Sim but doesn't allow me to activate or top up the card. I find the Globe web page and attempt to activate through that but I need to scan a selfie and passport. For what ever reason the AI won't recognise my name on my passport nor match my selfie photo after multiple attempts. I finally get it done then it asks for proof of Phillipines Residential address which I don't have. All of these attempts uses up three Roaming Data packs from my home telco and I still don't have a working Sim. There goes any perceived savings. I give up. It would have been much easier and cheaper to just get someone else to do it when I get the flight in the morning. I pirate another apartment's wifi by guessing the passcode so at least I have something.
By this time, it's getting pretty late. I had organised to meet up with another subscriber but he understandably bailed.
I'm tired, bitter and twisted so I collapse into bed alone. I don't think I missed much. Burgos was very quiet and I didn't even worry about going into a bar.
My flight to Gensan is delayed so at least I get to sleep in.
Welcome to Manila. 🤦.

Welcome to Manila. 🤦.Hi G,
Things can only get better, but it's Manila.
The whole Grab thing at Terminal 1 is a shitfight.
Better off getting a yellow metered cab downstairs from experience.
Always have the same problems with Globe, especially in Sabang or outside major cities.
I just do a $5 a day roaming plan with Vodaphone in case everything turns to shit and the hotel wi-fi is crap.
Enjoy your trip and look forward to hear of your adventures.

_ Phil. It's another one of those Only in the Philippines moments. Grab is a cluster fuck at any Phil airport. In town it's great but at the airport it sucks. As usual, it's just lack of organisation and doing things the most complicated way possible. I always thought that using your own app and phone wasn't possible and that those useless Booths were the only option. Turns out that you can but they don't advertise it and don't even have a marked meeting point.
Other counties just use the app and often even have photo directions in where to go to meet the car but 'Welcome to the Philippines'.
FWIW the app didn't even work upon arrival at Gensan airport. Despite having a heap of cars out the front, all with the Grab logo, none accepted bookings online. I gave up after 3 attempts. Luckily the first guy I asked only wanted P40 over for the trip so I didn't even worry about haggling. I'm guessing they don't want to pay the Grab commission.

This happened to me once and I took her back to bar and got barfined returned. Hiring her without ID was just stupid.

I always thought that using your own app and phone wasn't possible and that those useless Booths were the only option. Other counties just use the app and often even have photo directions in where to go to meet the car but 'Welcome to the Philippines'.Yes. In the home country, you use the app to book either when you deplane, or when you pick up your luggage. The Uber cars aren't allowed in an airport 'waiting area' like at NAIA. They are either out on regular patrol in the area, or they specifically loop around the perimeter of the airport waiting for airport arriving passengers who need a lift. Once they take your ride request, they enter the airport and proceed to a parking area specific to Uber. The customer picks up his luggage and walks to that area in the parking lot or structure. Directions there are posted on airport walls and you get a message from your driver on how to get there. The driver sends me a message like: "I just arrived at the Uber pickup area. I am in parking slot #27". I just have to go find that slot. This simple system does involve some walking from the luggage carousel area to the parking structure, but otherwise it works like a charm (I can see how persons in a wheelchair might need help getting there).
The idea that the airport needs 'helper' personnel (either their own, or from Uber or Grab), is a bit silly and is just an extra step in confusion. Not to mention in corruption, as if the app is bypassed for any reason, the drivers have a chance to not run the meter or insist on higher pay in advance.
Where on earth could this have been set up this way. Where. . . ?
My last several inbounds into T1 and T2, I couldn't find a regular white taxi when I stepped outside with my luggage.

I usually ask them but I've been known with a buzz to forget. This happened to me once and I took her back to bar and got barfined returned. Hiring her without ID was just stupid.Happened to me too, but right after the scamdemic in AC, the girl had a pic of her vax certificate in the phone, but the overzealous receptionist at the hotel, didn't accept it, she wanted the original. Went back the bar next door (Viking) and got my 3 K BF back, waisted only the money for the LD.

I had no issue at all. Followed the signs to the end of the terminal. Stepped outside, called on my app and within 5 min was in the car. Very smooth experience. This was T1 I believe (Singapore airlines).A small touch of confusion. Some gents report that getting Grab at NAIA involved going to the Grab area, and some employees (Grab? Airport?) got them a Grab car / taxi (no app needed). EA appears to have used his app (no need for such employee help). Which is it? Can I use the Grab app to order a Grab car / taxi while I'm waiting at the luggage carousel (or departing the luggage carousel), and have them waiting for me (meter running I would assume) at the NAIA Grab area (as I do with Uber in my country)? Why would I need locals or employees to help me get one if there is a line of them waiting for customers?

Option 1 is to use the employee 'assisted' Grab Booths. Expect a long line and at least 15 minutes of manual processing of your booking. You are then given a small sheet of paper with the car's rego and told to wait off to the side. In about 5 minutes the car arrives and your journey begins. Pay the driver in cash as cards are not accepted when the girls do the manual booking.
Option 2 is to use your own phone's app, walk outside and wait for the car. Just like everywhere else in the world. EA says there is signage but I didn't see it. At T1 pick up is at pillars A5 to 6. At T3 it is downstairs outside arrivals. Payment is via whatever your app's default is.
I wasn't aware of it at the time but the driver who drove me from the airport confirmed that customers can use their own app. I thought that the Booths were the only option but I was incorrect. Interestingly, there were also many Pinoys in the line behind me who thought the same thing.
In future I'll be using my own phone and app and just walk to the collection point. The manual processing at the Booth is just a total waste of time.

A taxi tout actually gave me directions as its not obvious though the app did specify the pickup point.
My last several inbounds into T1 and T2, I couldn't find a regular white taxi when I stepped outside with my luggage.I had the same problem on my last two arrivals into T1 Westie.
The white and yellow cabs are now located down the ramp on ground level.

It was at T3 where I arrived but I think its similar at all terminals. I would wait until getting to the pick up area to call the grab because as I understand it the drivers are given a waiting area close by and then pull up when you call. At least that's what my driver told me. It was totally painless and quick.

The other countries literally have step by step photos after selecting the ride to direct you out of baggage collection and to the meet point. Works much better.

G.If you google Grab Manila Airport T3 you will see detailed instructions and even a video pointing you there. And I saw a lot of big green signs pointing the way. I think booths are there for visitors from the west who may never have heard of grab and don't want to download the app and set up the CC for just one ride. It makes sense to me. I use grab all the time and have app and payment set up so its faster for me to call it myself. Pick up location is exactly the same either way. As inefficient the PHils and MNL is in general, this was not an issue. Actually the entire experience seems much smoother than the last time I flew into MNL (which was years ago as I use CRK most of the time).

I don't know why but I mistakenly thought that we couldn't use the in app directly but had to use the Booth. I'd agree both that Grab is great 99% of the time and that the Booths are essentially useless to seasoned travellers, even across multiple countries.
T1 has the self ordered and Booth assisted pickups in very different areas. Use the app and turn left immediately outside to pillars 5 and 6. The Booth and their pickups are one more lane out and on the far right hand side.
I don't think I'll be using the Booths ever again now that I know the app can be used directly.
Enjoy. G.

So if I use the booth's employees to get me a Grab taxi, at the end of the ride I will be paying (in cash) the meter + Grab fee?

Thanks EA, this answers my questions. So if I use the booth's employees to get me a Grab taxi, at the end of the ride I will be paying (in cash) the meter + Grab fee? That I don't know as I have never used the booth. I thought it would be pre paid at the booth but I could be wrong.
The booth will give you a paper with the total amount due to the driver upon completion. This is based on the destination you gave the booth.

That I don't know as I have never used the booth. I thought it would be pre paid at the booth but I could be wrong. The Booth doesn't accept any form of payment: not cash; not card; strangely, not even your presaved and approved payment method on your app. Just Ride is correct. Payment is cash direct to the driver.

Are these Grab Taxis? Or Grab Cars? They must be running on the more expensive app Grab Car system, which calculates in advance the basic taxi maximum, and adds a higher Grab fee, to give you an up-front total before requesting a car. Grab Taxis look like normal white Toyota Vios taxis (with a Grab sticker in the window). Grab Cars are just some guy driving his own car, usually with no sticker or Grab identifier. If the booth operator gives you a chit with a pre-determined price, then the driver is not using his meter. I am curious if the booth operator is using HIS Grab app to call the cars.
So, to use the booth, how can I pay with my credit card (the one that my app is tied to) at the end of the ride? If I can't use that, the entire process is utilizing Grab cars, not utilizing the Grab system. Seems convenient however.
A last question that might not be answerable. If I want to skip the booth, can I use my app to order a Grab taxi or car directly to my location; say, T1 arrivals, Bay 12?
JR, thanks.

Grab cars are not allowed to pick up in other bays / areas. That's probably correct. Were you referring to G Taxis or G cars? G cars have no Grab insignia, and look just like anyone else with a sedan, picking up a relative. What would stop me from app-ordering a Grab Car to bay 12?

What would stop me from app-ordering a Grab Car to bay 12?I arrived in Manila today. I walked to the Grab pickup area and orderd on my phone. Strangely the only option offered was standard grab, no taxi option or premium or suv option, only standard. I selected standard, 292 pesos from T3 to the Coro hotel in Makati. The first car cancelled. The second car was an Innova suv same fare. Ater arriving at the hotel the driver said he needed to add 35 pesos for the Highway. I tipped 100 pesos. Cheapest ride from the airport I've ever had.
In February the outside Grab stand charged 1000+ pesos paid directly in cash to the grab stand. I can't remember the exact amount but it was a little over 1,000 pesos. Same T3 to Coro hotel.

Thanks.
Is it the standard Burgos fee of 5 k BF and 5 k to the girl for ST?OK. The Burgos fees have been discussed ad nauseum on this thread. As you've been posting on ISG since 2023, and have lots of experience in SE Asia, that's more than enough time to have been studying your upcoming trip. Please hit up the old guard (myself even, if not incessantly) in PM if you can't find posts regarding barfine prices, and take your own advice:
I did the same when I went to Thailand and once out there soon realised it was wasted time as all I needed was a pocket of cash and a hard dick.
Grab cars are not allowed to pick up in other bays / areas.Maybe in theory but I have just told the Grab driver in chat the bay I am at and he has come there.
I'm not a huge fan of P. Burgos street due to the high costs related to barfines etc. There are a few massage girls hanging out on the nearby streets (such as the one leading to Handlebar). You can get what you need from them at a cheaper price. They're not as hot as the bar girls, but you can get a massage and the dirty deed for less. They'll start at 4 k but you can easily get the price down. This option is handy if you can't take someone back to your hotel and don't want the hassle of a short time hotel and freelancer. Don't expect the massage room to be luxurious though. And watch for the LBs (unless that's your thing).

A strange question, I know but I love both a good deep tissue massage and won't turn back a good fuck either. However, it's rare to find both. Masseuses generally just give a tugjob and hookers can't massage for shit.
If you have another option, I'd definitely be interested.

G.No the massage will be terrible 😆.
If you want a decent massage and extras suggest to get a massage girl from a massage shop delivered to your hotel. You might not get extras, but chances are high you will. You often won't be offered sex, but a good cash offering and a cheeky request for boom boom can often work wonders if you put a bit of charm on.

G.It is possible, but it takes time and money. After years of trials and filtering, I have 2 masseuses in AC that are very good at both activities and look extremely good also. One is a 10, (I know is hard to believe) was 19 when we first met, now is 24, still a virgin, we do only 69 and light pussy play, it took me a lot of money, and time, about a year, to get her at ease and to trust me, it was like a side project. The second one is also very good looking, at first maybe a 9, but has to be derated to a 7 because of baby damage, the body is perfect, but below the belly button there is too much skin, probably some sort of skin removal surgery would give her a perfect body again, this one fucks like there is no tomorrow, and arches, and moves and have facial expressions just like in a porn movie, also very submissive, I used her many times in 3 somes. Both are extremely cautious and shy, always come with a facemask on, not to be recognized.
How to have someone like that on speed dial? Look far away from the Red St, those places don't offer hotel service, once you found the girl, visit her often, give good tips even if there are no extras involved, and once you have a trusty friendly relationship established, have her come to your place for massages, and without rushing it work it out further. You're not going to end up cheaper than paying a hooker, but to me is worth it, the virgin being a totally different experience than the daily AC routine, and the other one is just amazing.
Maybe in theory but I have just told the Grab driver in chat the bay I am at and he has come there.I would guess that is true. Last year, I directed my driver to come to Bay 4 in the arrivals pickup area (at NAIA Terminal One), and that is where he drove up to. Also, for the uninitiated, to get to that pickup spot, you must cross the street once outside the terminal and walk down one of two ramps that lead to the aforementioned pickup spot. You can walk down either ramp, but the one on the left will take you to Bays 4,5, or 6.
IMHO there should be a thread on how to get in and out of the airport (or all airports). It's important infor and it scattered about.
Cheers.

The new heads of both departments are smart and are making significant changes in the airports and in general transport arrangements in Manila. One of those changes* is that white taxis have been banished to the departure area, upstairs. Walk outside and be greeted by:
1) The higher-priced van services, right in front of you, which have set prices to different parts of Manila. For example, a run to Makati will probably be about p1500 ($30 USD). The price is fixed, there is no meter, and the vehicle is not a taxi. Drivers are quiet, courteous, and professional. There are touts outside directing you to these vehicles. They are a tad deceptive, and often greet you with: "Taxi sir?" You say yes and they usher you to their vans (deceptive in that they didn't lie to you, but you asked for a taxi and they directed you to a private car). You agree to the price before getting into the van. I have taken these before and have been glad they were there, even though a plain white taxi, a Grab taxi, or a yellow taxi are my usual MO. When there are long taxi lines, these vans can be invaluable. Taking a similar airport vehicle (or taxi) in my country the same 6 km could run me $50-$70. Also these vehicles are convenient, they are right in front of you, just waiting.
2) Yellow airport taxis, stationed to your right. Slightly higher in price than white taxis, but they are by law dedicated to airport pickups only. Typical taxi fare from NAIA to Makati in the yellow is p300-400. Yellow taxis rarely cause any problem by asking for extras. Just pay him the meter amount and walk away (tip as desired). You get a chit (two chits) from a booth operator before getting your yellow taxi, which has your destination on it, the driver's license plate number, and a phone number you can call if there is trouble. You keep one chit, the driver gets the other.
3) Grab booth, probably to your left as you walk out to the street. Price will be the same as a white taxi (below) + grab fee (p59 to 79, depending time of day and availability).
If you want a regular white taxi (bit cheaper than yellow), then elevator upstairs to the departure area and walk outside. White taxis for the same ride to Makati will usually be p220-280.

Hi Westie,
It's all turned into a bit of a shit-fight at Terminal 1, mainly because there's no signage regarding taxis since the changes.
In March I walked outside expecting to get a yellow taxi to the left and they'd disappeared. Even the security guards couldn't tell me where they were.
I avoid the "Taxi Sir" vans because after a long flight I just want a few moments to get my shit together on arrival without being hassled as soon I'm out of the terminal doors.
I'm also over the white cabs as the pricks never turn their meters on, unless you demand it before your bag is placed in the back.
I do get the yellow cabs to Makati but have never got one as cheap as 400 p.
Stupid shit in the Philippines maybe? To arrive in a country and have to get transport in the departure area?
Anyway, I found that yellow taxis also depart from downstairs. When you head out of the terminal doors, politely turn down the "Taxi Sir?" touts, and walk across the road and then down the ramp. At the bottom, you'll find them.
Footnote: I always get the hotel guys to hail me a cheaper white cab back to the airport and get them to tell the driver in Tagalog to turn the meter on. No meter no fare. No meter, no tip.

The small bluebird of happiness made a brief pass down Burgos recently. He reports that Fyre and Neon Nights are reopened, up and running. More ladies for thee, and for me.
Thanks birdie.
So far this year, I have had seven return international business flights back into Manila (4 at T1 and 3 at T3), and I ALWAYS use the yellow taxis on arrival (I use Grab to get to the airport).
No fuss. Yellow cabs are always available no matter what time of day. Just get the chit from the despatcher and away we go. I have never had a scam or attempted scam. Fare is always between 800-900 php to my condo in Ortigas and I give a blue note (Grab is almost a fixed price at 810 php from home to airport).
I read the dramas some of you have with taxis and wonder why you experience stuff that I have never had (and I have lived here for 28 years now).
