Phillipines is way different from what Indians are use to in Thailand.

So far in three days, I felt my experience was ok. Gogos have always been a strict Nono for me since Pattaya days. I will follow the same. I prefer FLs. My game is better in that.
Can anyone suggest such a place in AC as I'm leaving there now typing the report.
Which areas are better for FLs in AC? Malls??

AC mainly revolves around Gogo clubs. But it is not all that bad, they don't push hard the lady drinks. If you say no or later after buying the one drink to the girl sitting with you, they generally leave you to have a conversation with the girl so long as you don't sit around for hours without buying additional drinks. Of course if you are gullible the girls will ask for more drinks. Bar fines are around 4 K to 5 K depends on the bar. Now a days it is usually ST but at times the girls might stay for LT.
Dance club to pickup freelancer and semi-pro is Mega Dance. There is another club Hammer but its more towards Korean cliental.
Since you are staying in ABC Hotel, you could also check out Auqa club in the hotel for FLs.
I suggest you read the forum to get a hang on which gogo to visit. Many are Asian (East asian) oriented and a few have mainly Non-Asian cliental. It doesn't mean that the Asian oriented bars do not welcome you but the girls in there generally prefer Asian customers. Being an Indian, you are better off with Non-Asian Gogos.
You can also try Tinder / Pinalove for FLs. These are usually retired bar girls and ladyboys. In my personal opinion, it is waste of time checking out dating apps in AC. You could easily score elsewhere and you can see what you are getting.

KTVs on Mabini St are only for drinking and lady company. They do have private rooms but you must bring really fat wallet with you.
They have strick rule not to go out with custumer as they are scared of getting fired. Almost all of them will ask for your whatsapp and luar you back to bar.
Seldom you get to meet her in your hotel if she trust you. For price of KTV you can get nice girl off PL, Massage republic or escort website.

I was in Manila recently and stayed in Makati. Visited many bars in Burgos street. One day I took a taxi and went to Malate to check the KTV / JTV scene. There were many of them on both sides of the road. As soon as I stepped outside a guy was insisting me to check some of them. He took me into few of them. All of them has similar set up. After checking few of the places I decided to sit in one of them. All the girls was lined up for me to choose. I select a young / slim beauty to sit with me. She was a university student and doing this job to support the school expenses. She asked for a drink and I ordered a beer for her. The inside was very bright not like Burgos bars. Some light touching was allowed. They had 90 minutes unlimited drinks but I only had a beer. The girl said most of the clients are older Japanese. There was only one other customer there besides me. I just felt like the playability was very low. I didn't ask the girl for her number or asked if she can go out. I think it takes probably multiple visits for her to be comfortable.
After that I went another one and the mama showed me all their VIP rooms. The rooms has complete privacy. I decided to take a VIP room and selected the most attractive girl from the line up. Bought her a drink for her and she won't even let me touch her. After some time I called the mama and choose a different girl from the line up. Again bought a drink for her. She told me the first girl was very new. They both were from Mindanao provinces. She said the JTV provided accommodation for the girls. Again nothing really happened and a total waste. Left there and checked many more places. Most of them has no customers or just one or two. They also add a 30% charge to the bill. Overall the girls looks better than Burgos girls. I think these places are a complete waste of money unless you want to just sit with a girl and drink. No wonder there was no customers in most them. Wasted 10 k not nothing.

Not that I'd ever contemplate going down this path. My idea of a LD is making sure the contact I bring back to my room has something to drink in the bar fridge while I'm having a SML beer. I usually take the girls to a 7/11 or similar on the way back so they can choose beverages of their choice for the night.
When they pick a bottle of Tanduay I know things might get a bit messy, but I generally have a great time. Much better than paying for weak LD in a bar / gogo. Phil.

Before you depart the US:
Cash.
Take only new, clean, unmarked, crisp 100's as the PI banks and money changers are getting very very strict and may not accept anything less. This could be a problem if your primary funding source turns out to be worthless for mongering purposes. Not the way to start the trip!!

Do not download the gov. Ph electronic declarations as you do not need it unless you're a local citizen. My airline called me and pressed me to do this, albeit incorrectly.
Grab App.
Download the Grab App (PI version of Uber). It's super easy to use and very similar to Uber. Just pay the driver directly, do not set up a funding source. This will save you big bucks as you depart the airport and if you're planning on getting around the city.
Prior to departing MNL Airport Terminal.
SIM card.
Get a SIM card at the airport, Smart or Globe, I have never seen a big difference on either and have used both several times. I made the mistake of buying a SIM card at a convenience store near the hotel the next day and got taken. While it could've been disastrous, I got out of the situation relatively unscathed. The attendant took a picture of my passport using his personal phone to send with the application and it didn't dawn on me until later this could be an issue. I was still having problems with my phone so I went to the local Smart Store in MOA to resolve. All told, I had to buy another SIM card and spend another 500 p load as the employee at the convenience store basically just pocketed my money.
Airport Transfer.
DO NOT make a deal or use any of the taxi hawkers as you exit the terminal, they will charge you 5 x-6 x the regular amount. For example, the Grab app was <300 p to my hotel in Pasay and the taxis were charging 1,500 p-2,000 p with no negotiation for the same.
ATM Machines.
If your card doesn't work with one bank ATM, try another. For whatever reason, my Chas Schwab ATM card didn't work at BDO but it worked flawlessly everywhere else, no idea as to why. There are several ATMs in the MNL Arrivals Terminal, strongly suggest getting $100 USD converted as it makes life super simple if you arrive late at night.
Hotel.
Golden Phoenix Hotel. Good hotel, great breakfast and great location. There are lots in the Pasay area.
LA Cafe.
I landed around 2300, checked into the hotel, took a shower and went straight to LA Cafe to get a drink and determine the level of talent. Mind you, it's been 10 yrs since I last stepped foot in the establishment so I was more than prepared to pull out and head to Burgos Street if necessary. However, upon entering, the place was just as I remembered. On the first floor, there were no less than a 100 pinays all waiting for the "ATM" to walk in. After a trip around the bar, I went upstairs to find a table, order a drink and just relax a bit. Within 20 minutes, three very willing mid-30's ladies arrive and want to chat. One thing I've learned from mongering in numerous countries is that "birds of a feather, flock together". If one is rude or has a bad attitude, then steer clear as the others will likely be similar. Basically, all three of these ladies had really nice attitudes and the perfect personality for me. No BS and straight to the point. After about an hour and a half, I was ready to take one home for a quick ride. Over the next 5 days, I ended up doing a rotation with each of them. All had solid bodies and were well above average with looks and service. I paid 3. 5 p plus 200 p for taxi for each round, lasting 2 hours. This was a perfect arrangement for me as I didn't want them spending the night due to work commitments.

I've done Manila lots of times. I've never done LA Cafe though. Mainly due to some negative reports in the past on other platforms IE: web searches. Plus I have a routine of getting to the same hotel in Makati after I land (sometimes late), getting straight into the business side of the trip the next day or two, and then it's generally time for fun before a little more work in MNL before I leave.
That sounds like a great option. Also never stayed in Pasay previously.
I just don't know if I can do Manila for anymore than two days in a row these days. It's very hectic and I personally try to find a place by the water on any trips, even if that's Sabang. Having said that, I'll be in Angeles on business in August and will be planted there for about five days. I'm sure everything will be fine. Phil.

Yes!! Basically, new, unmarked, no tears or significant creases and you should be fine. Also, having spent too many years traveling internationally, to never depart the US without at least two sources of (liquid) cash. Currency rules change do change on occasion and you never want to be reliant on one source if abroad.

I have a little experience with Karaoke places in Korea and China, but I was set up by local work colleagues with extremely pretty girls, and I never attempted to get one of the girls to have sex as my work colleagues were with me. I have always been amazed at how much they liked to get really, really stupidly drunk, rather than focus on fucking the girls (and the next morning behaved as if nothing had happened).
I honestly do not have any plans to visit the Philippines until 2026, as I will go to BKK on my annual trip to Asia in January 2025 with Pattaya as a side trip (usually I go to Manila as my side trip).
Are there any KTVs where full service is offered? Have I been misreading all the descriptions of KTVs for the last 15 years? I am not interested in hanging out with beautiful girls unless the night ends in sex.

Why on earth would she want to go home with you and become a 2-pop cum-bucket overnight for a few thousand pesos?
For fun, there is an open-door restaurant on Adriatico (between Remedios and Nakpil Sts), across the street from Upstage Gold bar. Its open 24 hours. Shift change is 6 am. Have had breakfast there dozens of times (it was a go-to place when staying at Malate Bayview Mansion). At 6 am you will see the girls coming out of the KTV's at the end of their shift. They all look the same: Cute, usually short, hair ponytailed thru the back of a baseball hat, wearing shorts with cropped sweatshirts. They pile into lines of waiting taxis (lined up almost all the way back to Robinson's) to go home. But several will walk across the street to vest. They will sit down with 6-8 of her friends already waiting for her (already drinking, running up a bill), or the friends will show up shortly. Buckets of beer, breakfast foods, bottles of booze are wasted across the table. Thousands of pesos. The bill is quickly dispatched by the girl. Her earnings from the night allow her to spend half of her pay on a pinoy-style breakfast with friends. You don't see that from SW or gogo bar girls.
Are there any KTVs where full service is offered? I think yes, but not like the ones in K-town. You can easily find YT vids of the Ktown KTV's. Other board members have mentioned dive-bar, low-end KTVs with girls available for privado action, near the old EDSA plaza. Not sure if the bars still exist, or prices.

Pussy everywhere, technically very skilled providers but very mechanical ie absolutely no GFE. I paid a pittance but that was a long time ago. I've heard there have been significant price rises and some areas have even become stricter.
To answer your question, PH is much better purely as a fun hub.

Long overdue documentation of a visit to Cebu and Manila a couple of months ago.
Spent two days, three nights in Cebu. First time there and I found it to be much more enjoyable than Manila at a more affordable cost. Tinder and PL were both very productive and I met 4 very excellent contacts in that time. One ditched her mom at the mall to drop by my hotel room for a quickie before quickly heading back.
I was also back in Manila for the first time in a few years. I wish Marriott still had a Makati property. Met plenty of girls via dating apps, but staying in Malate was more hassle than in Makati IMO. Prices seem to have gone up a bit since my last visit, as well, but that's the story in so many places these days it seems.
To answer your question, PH is much better purely as a fun hub.

However it's one of the most expensive choices in town and you are paying for convenience. If you walk out the door there are street walkers available for 20% of that. If ranking locations just by price it is Manila, AC, Cebu, provinces. If ranking methods it's KTVs, barfines, online, friends and referrals then natural meetups with civilians.

In 2019 (last full year of stats before covid) Thailand had about 27 million visitors, and I think in 2023 they had bounced back to about 25 million (not bad). However for Phils, 2019 was about 9 million visitors, and last year was 5. 5 million. In fact, when I looked at monthly visitors for the first half of this year in Phils, an easy extrapolation might say it will be the same as last year, so about half of pre-covid.
Not sure that I can say why this has happened, nor that its from the negative changes in the AC gogo bar system and price increases across the board. I spent a couple of weeks in NCR recently, and Burgos was relatively dead on every night other than Friday / Saturday nights. There were more dudes at Bourbon with their GF watching the bands than there were in any bar. It was several weeks of easy pickin's for FL.
Side story. Went into Coco Rock one night for a nightcap. Couple of patrons were shooting pool. Thankfully over the past few years I've just relied on the contacts I've made along the way and negotiate with the girls privately. Sure, the bar scene is great for a fun night out, but when they're trying to take 'the experienced' for a ride, they're not looking after repeat customers.

IMO it's not worth venturing out and looking for new scores and experiences. Seen a steady rise in price due to what the PH peeps blame, inflation. However they don't try to make any changes to draw in customers or make it worth the difference in payment.
Not to mention knowing that they will take advantage of newbies or just in general if you're a foreigner puts you in already a turn-off mindset. Take note since foreigners aren't visiting or biting as much, they rely heavily on the local market as one can see via tantan, WeChat, tinder and so many are desperate they're willing to fork over 3 k just for a 1 month "subscription" to personalized vids / pics / etc channel from a walker. If they consider themselves, "A level," and some donkey agreees, subscription prices rise 2 k more just because they may have whiter skin then dark. LOL.
I'll stick to regulars but lately as a avid gamer, prefer spending on the Steam sale.

I returned to the Philippines after a 33-year hiatus!
History first: The US Navy introduced me to Subic Bay in 1978. That was when I started my long mongering career. Being on ships, I spent quite a bit of time in the Subic Bay area; I loved the place.
In 1991, my ship was in Subic Bay during the eruption of Mount Pinatubo. Both bases were destroyed and we helped evacuate the military members and their families.
I am not sure why it took me so much time to return, maybe it was because I was exploring Latin America and I did not like the long flights to SEA. My last trip in SEA was in 2015 in Thailand. But for whatever reason, I felt nostalgic and had to return to PI.

Travel Insurance:
The SquareMouth web-site gave me over 50 quotes from over 50 different companies. I chose Trawick from National Mutual. It was for 14-days and cost $314.00.
Money:
All the money I quote is in Philippine pesos. During my stay, the exchange rate was around 58.20 to 1. I exchanged some US dollars in the airport and used ATMs when needed.
Flight:
I flew with Philippine Airlines. The service was excellent. It was a direct flight from LAX to Manila. It took 13.5 hours on the way over and 12.5 hours on the way back.
Immigration and Customs:
Before I left, I found a customs form online and I filled it out. When I checked in at LAX, I was told by the airline agent I needed to go to the eTravel website and complete that process for immigration.
So, I finished those two thingys and when I went through immigration and customs, nobody asked me for a damn thing. And when I left, again, not a damn thing was required.
Communication:
I have the T-Mobile Go5 GPlus55 plan; no worries whatsoever. For most of my trip, the service was through Globe Telecom. Sometimes the service changed to Smart.
Electrical voltage - 220.
Transportation:
While in Manila and AC, I used Grab and a few trikes. From the Manila airport to my hotel, Grab cost 420. I did not need any transportation while I was in Subic Bay.
The people:
I found the Filipinos to be extremely friendly, hospitable, and respectful. I leaned that in 1978 and it still holds true today. They always make you feel welcomed.
English:
During my stay, the majority of the people I talked to spoke English, whether it was broken or fluent. There were some exceptions, but not enough to be concerned about.
Trip reports:
I plan to write a separate trip report for the three cities I visited. I had my trusty note pads and I am still trying to figure out my shorthand writing so I can post the correct information.
Overall thoughts on the Philippines:
I was not sure what to expect after that long hiatus. The only thing that was similar were the girls; still playful as ever. I thought the cities were quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner.
Would I ever return to the Philippines? Nah, the trip across the pond wore my old ass out. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!

Transportation:
While in Manila, I only used Grab to get around. From the Manila airport to my hotel, Grab cost 420.
Hotel:
I stayed at the New Coast Hotel. It was a beautiful hotel with great rooms. The staff and service were excellent. Was it girl friendly: YES. But wait, there's more! LA Cafe was only 3 blocks away!
Restaurants:
I did a lot of research before I left and here are my thoughts on the food scene:

1/. Many freelancers are on the prowl and they can be some of the cheapest sex in Manila. Obviously, be alert for bakla and scammers but it's lots of options, point and shoot and even hourly hotels nearby.
2/. Lots of bargirls live nearby to cut down on the commute time every night. It's not hard to set up someone to drop by for some overtime before her shift starts.
3/. Everyone knows where Burgos is and why guys go there. Hence, anyone met online will find it easily and there won't be any confusion over what you are looking for.

You don't need PrEP unless you are messing around with the LBs. PEP you do need. I have been using it to great effect for many many years. The CDC finally got on board. Just search DoxyPEP.

On one hand it's a huge mistake to think that every pina will fuck any guy as long as she gets paid. There are a lot of single moms in their late teens and early 20's. Many girls partner and do not get married immediately, and often with parents blessing, because a wedding is expensive, and the laws surrounding marriage are not fair. Then, when the boyfriend decides this life isn't for him, she is left behind with a kid. After this, the girl is left wanting a family. A complete family. So she meets another man and tries to recreate a family. Having sex is easier because it is part of a relationship, and eventually a second baby comes along.
But if you look at traditional gender roles, most Filipinas do fill those roles well. They can clean and cook and take care of (lots of) kids. They can work, too, but most relish the opportunity to be a housewife, if given the opportunity. And for all the talk we have on this board about willing Filipinas, and there are many, the country has 110 million people, and this represents just a fraction of the women. If you look in a brothel, you will find hookers. If you look online at dating sites, you will find some women in it for scams or prostitution, just like anywhere else. What you see depends where you look.

I think the video confuses a western view (or the narrator's view) and the eastern view of 'traditional'. His first bone of contention: Previously, filipina were somehow too shy to have sex before marriage, but modern filipinas are pumping out babies at a young age before marriage. Hence, they are no longer traditional. Not sure if that is correct.
The vid takes the viewpoint that traditional means that a girl didn't have sex before marriage. That would be out of keeping in latin-catholic countries where girls are encouraged to start having babies at a younger age (married or not). Accordingly, the majority of Mexican and Filipinas could not be trad-wives (regardless of how good she is at being such).
Its quite possible in Phils that your asawa has had multiple fellas, multiple kids, and still loves you while she revels in the role of asawa. To wit, here, she might dutifully perform (if not enjoys): Cleaning the house, running errands (indicates in her mind your trust in her to handle money, something she hasn't had before), washing clothes by hand, ironing, stepping into the shower and washing your hard-to-reach places, buy / prepare food and cooking, and paying the bills (with *your* money; and my God until recently before Paymaya and GC that often had to be done by paying each bill in person standing in a long line and in cash). A pinay once said to me: "You are providor. I will do all so that you can relax and not worry of any. Its my job as asawa". Sweetie, what does that include for you? "Tanan (everything). I cook, clean the house, pay the bills, wash the clothes, clean the dishes, shop the foods and shop for the home, children to the school, raise the kids at the cathedral with my mom and titas. You don't need to worry of any". And? "Hahaha. Sex!" If only your western ex-wife had this attitude?
You are more likely to get this away from the big smoke. The provinces are littered with women like this. Someone on this board posted a video a few months ago from YT*, which showed a Filipina in her home, videotaping her day doing the above, diligently preparing meals, cleaning, and doing other things the way her live-in foreigner wanted done. I find many pinay, including most of my nawty regulars, are similar: After a few visits, they have often fallen into similar behavior between pops -- cleaning, preparing food, then washing the dishes, and organizing my place, etc; it just seems to be built into them.
What does it take to keep this woman happy? Make sure that there is adequate income to pay the rent, repairs, food, own a vehicle (could be as simple as a motorcycle), and pay utility bills (this is what she means when she says she wants a simple life). 'Go around' with her once or twice a month (take her on a date, anywhere there is food, drink, and music, away from her kids). Offer to take her and her parents to lunch once a month. That's about it. You can thrill her by buying one of those electronic videoke machines that hooks into your TV for family sing-a-longs.
So, somewhat disagree with the vid. I know that I have just painted a very rosy picture of near-perfection, and given an overarching generalization. So, caveat: Not all Filipina are this way. His item #5: Traditional values honor honesty and integrity. But filipina culture is to lie a lot. Hence, they are not traditional. Not sure where his definition of 'traditional' is, but it seems to come from his own past and ethnocentricity.
While this post appears to make a different case than Goferring intended, I think the video is spot-on in its description of the people here. Lying, scamming, pre-marital sex, ladyboy-ism, are simply ways of life here. I'm just not sure that they have anything to do with 'traditional', as traditional is unique to each culture?
Final caveat: Take her out of Phils to your country, and you might find that she begins to change, and to lose some of those rosy 'home-body' behaviors that she had in Phils.

Ok, I'm Dr Slim and have been going to the philippines since 1997. I don't remember but there might be a way to search my dozens of posts and comments but I have not used this site in years. I've been to the Phils over 30 x. Here is the embarrasing part. Since I married my perfect filipina 16 years ago, we get picked up at the airport by family. BUT on our next trip we'll need to get into Makati on our own. What I used to do was roll my luggage over to the departure side and grab a metered taxi that just dropped someone off and use them to get into makati but its been years. HOW DO YOU GUYS GET INTO MANILA / MAKATI / TAGUIG etc these days. I don't like to use the airport car services as they are complete ripoffs. If I'm going to give money, I'd rather a regular taxi driver get it rather than the car service who robs the driver. FYI. I used to be a dirty old man monger to the extreme but have retired from mongering for 16 years. I have a million stories to tell but that's for another time. I'm kinda shocked my user name is still working on this site. LOL.

I assume you are entering internationally. The airport has been redesigned, you no longer need to go upstairs to departures to get a taxi. Step outside the main terminal doors and the first thing you will run into are those touts offering p1500 to your destination (called coupon taxis). I like them as there is never a wait, always available, and you never share a ride.
Walk straight past them across the street and you will see a line of yellow airport taxis. The yellow taxis have a p70 starting flag-fall, and p4 for every 300 meters, and p4 for each 2 minutes. Price to Makati would be p500-600. You tell a guy at a small window where you are going first. He writes you a chit saying your name and where you are going. One copy of the chit goes to you, one copy to the driver. If you only get one copy (the white one), keep it even if the driver asks for it. Yellow taxis can only return to the airport, they can't drive around town looking for customers. Fare is about 50% more than a white taxi.
White taxis. I think you turn right at the yellow taxis and walk about 50 meters. You will see a line of white taxis. Standard p40 flagfall, and then p13.5 each mile, and p2 each minute. Just make sure the driver turns the meter to P40 at the start of your ride. Most drivers are more honest than in the old days. Trip to Makati in traffic might be p350-400, or closer to 230-250 in light traffic.
You can also get a Grab taxi I think (see the website below).
Taguig will require going up the C5 highway I think, about 20% farther than Makati.

The only real issue is that, depending on the time of your arrival, the wait for any of the options can be extremely long. If you're arriving late in the evening (after 10), my experience has been that even the coupon taxi wait time is inexorably long. I waited over two hours one time for any available taxi.
Maybe it's just me, but I have a hard time getting a driver that uses the meter. If your Filipina is with you, let her negotiate with the driver to make sure you get a good deal. That's why my ladies do best. Save me money hahaha.
