I have been resident in Chiang Mai for many years. Not only have I visited many of the places mentioned in my posts, but also have contacts and friends who are also long term residents here that regularly socially at different venues in Chiang Mai. We are on the field so to speak, and only passing on our experiences to others.

If you doubt my credibility and experience, than I suggest that you try out these places yourself and come back with your reports. Please be our guinea pig and perhaps in contrast we could all learn from your experiences, that I have no doubts we would all be very interested to hear.

the websites feature beautiful horny looking girls, mostly photo shopped, appearing like they have just been contracted from a playboy modelling agency and posh massage establishments springing up everywhere, that offer no more than a quite thrill that may cost you thousands of bahts. craigslist is full of them. even foreigners are now muscling in for a piece of the action in thailand, with ambitions of grasping a lot of money in a very sort time for doing very little, probably as a means of paying for their holidays in the south east asian countries. there are a couple of ads on craigslist, in the thailand, therapeutic services section. one guy claiming to be from south america and a 20 something year old canadian woman, asking for almost 9000 baht an hour to complete a massage and a hand job.

if you can afford the expense and this is your sort of thing, than fine, but here in thailand, i would never pay more than 300 baht for a happy ending and you will discover that after a time, this really does become boring. best to view some of the free online porn vids, probably achieve just as much satisfaction out of those and save a fortune into the bargain.

cm is a nice town, but i would never go as a p4p destination. loi kroh or as i call it "jack shack row" and the surrounding areas are mainly big hj rip off spots from my experience.

The most you should pay for an old grot is 1200 baht and upwards to 1600 baht for anything even half decent and I bet that a Thai customer would never be charged these high prices.

They will charge according to whatever they think a gullible customer may pay. If these places were on the level than they would display a service and price list on the premises.

Regarding the seeking of young looker massages in Chiang Mai, I gave that up long ago after getting ripped-off at the Pretty Club.

If you lived in Thailand you would realise that 2000 baht is a lot of money over here, considering that the average Thai only earns 300 baht a day for working a 12 hour shift and although I do not begrudge paying over the odds for a service and a boom boom massage is a service, I do not believe that what they are offering is value for money, not like the good old days when the Thai lady houses were in operation, prices were set, there was no pressures or strict time limits and had a wide range of girls to suit all tastes.

These days the Thais keep most of the good stuff for themselves, including the sideliner girls and student girls who advertise online and on facebook only in Thai, karaoke bars and the well hidden back street brothels we never get to hear about that are not Farang friendly.

This is now the sex scene in Chiang Mai.

I think there are other venues other than Sayuri in Chiang Mai that offer soapy massage in which the providers are younger than 25. I recall reading about them in the forum. This thread is not that large so I think one can easily go back two or so years to find out what you want to find in a matter of minutes, not hours.

Since this lonely area doesn't yet have anything going on, I figure I'll start it out with a question. Does anyone know anything about longer-term lodging options in Chiang Mai that are clean, air-conditioned, secure? (And, of course, girl-friendly, though I'm presuming most will be in this area.) I'm looking to make the area kind of a home base on my trip this fall, and will be looking to rent on a montly basis (at least two and possibly three months.) I'm not terribly worried about price, as the most expensive things I see are still ridiculously cheap; I'm more after the right kind of place, something I can basically make my home, and with decent facilities. A pool and gym would be a plus. A two-bedroom apartment would be ideal, or some kind of suite with kitchen facilities.

Apologies for the delay in this report. The events occurred over a few days around valentine's day. I was staying in a small french-run guest house called Chiang Mai Nest in Moonmuang Road Soi 2. It was near the place I originally booked but they couldn't accommodate me for some reason and arranged it for me. I ensured it was gf first. The location was great. Right on the edge of the old city and right by Loi Kroh Road. I didn't plan this and it was just by chance. The guest house rooms were dated and the main receptionist wasn't the friendliest in my experience although the French manager was a great guy.

I hit Loi Kroh road in the early evening after noticing that there were no FL girls along Moonmuang Road at that time, as reported here before and advised by the manager. I went to Diana's Bar as there were quite a few ladies there. Drinks were the same price as all the bars in the area (50-80 baht for a beer). Turned out that there was a bar fine of about 400 baht which put me off as I don't do bar fines for various reasons. This turned out to be the standard at all the bars in that area. After dinner I used tuktuks to scout the area for FL's. There was a ladyboy area to the right if facing onto Moonmuang from Soi 2, but turning left and much further along (past the city gate in that area) , there are usually a few FL's. Spoke to a younger gal who looked in her 20's but turned her down because I saw an interesting lady lurking in the shadows and sitting on her parked motorbike. We agreed on 2 hrs for 1000 baht and she agreed to everything I wanted inc photos. In the room she was very chatty and said she was 43 but didn't look a day over 35. Said she had kids, was single and came over every night from Lamphun. She was medium build and her tits weren't as big as had appeared apparent with her clothes on. Agreed to forego shaving her as her pussy was only lightly haired. She was very attentive during the shower and enjoyed DATY and allowed DFK. Her oral technique was decent and she was accommodating. Sex was ok but she would not allow anal when requested. Gave her a smal tip I believe.

The girl re-confirmed she agreed to all the services required but the price wasn't mentioned again. In the room, she had a proportioned figure and was surprisingly shaven. She refused to allow her face on any photos. The service was average from what I remember and sex was awkward due to both our sizes. It turned out that she was happy to take 500 but that the taxi driver had wanted her to pay him 100. This incensed me and we agreed that she would tell the driver I only paid her 500 even though I did give her 600. I never received and comeback on this from the driver. I called it a night.

Next day I resumed my mongering activities in the afternoon / evening. I decided to pop into this bar just near the corner of the exit of soi 2 on Moonmuang which had a few friendly looking ladies in it. Got chatting to the oldest who was in her 40s at least. Played some pool with a younger one and had a good laugh with them. I established that there was bar fines there when there were a few girls. I was going to ask the older lady if she was interested in action but she disappeared before I could. I trawled Loi Kroh Road looking for any FL bars but there were none. Ended up on Moonmuang in the evening (action didn't start there till at least 9pm) and this time there were not as many ladies. Spoke to younger lady from the night before but couldn't agree a deal. I think she wanted 1500. I saw the larger aggressive girl again who was with 2 others this time. Spoke to many hotties who didn't want to go with me (I'm convinced there was an issue over my race (Indian origin) or my size) or wanted too much. I ended up at a place called carnival bar. Chatted to a short, plumpish lady who turned out to be mid-30s with kids as usual. Ended up agreeing to the 500 baht fine and 1000 baht for 2 hrs for her. She spoke decent english and was naughty and cheeky. At the room, the body wasn't great with saggy, small tits and bit of a belly. Was either shaven or agreed to be shaven there and then. Can't remember. Can't remember if she allowed DFK or not but oral was covered and her technique in general was average. Sex was ok and anal was refused.

On one of the nights I succumbed to the offer of a tuktuk driver to take me to find ladies. I tried to insist I didn't want anywhere where there was a bar fine or a mamasan. Agreed to pay him 60 for the trip. Went quite a way and turned out to be fish bowl type establishment. Needless to say the prices were crazy and they wanted payment beforehand. I refused and the driver inisisted on going to other similar places and I told him just to take me back to Moonmuang. He was unhapy with the 60 at the end, suggesting that the other places he went to incurred a higher fare. This was the only tuktuk driver tha was unhappy. In summary, Chiang Mai wasn't the greatest mongering destination but there is enough action if you are willing to pay higher prices. Wonderful city for non mongering purposes however. Didn't get any digits for the girls and I promised not to post any photos so will keep my word on that.

damned, i could slap my face for how stupid i was yesterday, but at least i'd like to warn all of you to go to the "my love club" in chiang mai!

i was asked by a tuk-tuk driver if i'd like to have some fun with nice girls and he showed me a card with many beautiful girls on it."my love club" i read there and as i was anyway looking for some fun that night i agreed. he took me there. it's on the right side of the river, i don't know the street name anymore. arrived there, already many really stunning girls were standing there who welcomed me. the mamasan took me to a karaoke room and told me she will introduce some girls to me and i could choose with whom i'd like to spend my time in this room together.

as if this wasn't enough, the mamasan asked for a "tip for guy who bring drink" as well as each of the "ladies" asked for a tip, too. i said no, i paid already too much. the mamasan repeated my words with a sneering tongue-in-cheek. that was more than enough! i went out, mad and disappointed. the mamasan said she would give me another lady to accompany me. for 4000 baht. i got angry and just ran out. and found my tuk-tuk driver waiting for me! the ride from my hotel to there was just 40 baht and the way back, too. even it was a way through half of the city. but of course he will have his provision on that dirty business.

this seems to be the general state of affairs in chiang mai now and i have no doubts considering that the tuk tuk driver recommended this outfit to you, that he made well out of it. they are basically a bunch of thugs who will use fear and intimidating to extract a lot of money from those they consider as vulnerable.

my best advice is to avoid any bars or karaoke that the name ends in club, and also avoid vip. i was ripped off at the pretty club not so long ago. the object of these places is to do as little as possible, in the shortest possible time, for as much as possible. any naive first timers to these places can be taken to the cleaners and extorted.

the good old days of available, decent, pleasant shagable girls giving a value for money service have long gone.

Thanks for the heads up. I happened to walk past that club the other day not even knowing that it was there. There must have been 10-20 girls standingaround the entrance and a lot of them were real stunners. That's the best looking collection of women I've seen around here, but having read a local newspaper account of a Russian tourist who was tasered by a Chiang Mai karaoke club's security team after refusing to pay a trumped up multi-thousand Bhatbill, I could tell that this place would be a similar scam. There was way to much sizzle outside to have any steak inside. Chiang Mai is laid back. If something was really going on there and it spilled out onto the sidewalk like that, they would have a problem here.

I've seen that same game played in New York City strip clubs, particularly the old Scores club on the upper East Side. Usually it's the clubs with a major, aggressive mafia connection. We live and learn. You can still be thankful that it wasn't worse. You could have ended up with a medical bill on top of your club bill if you hadn't paid and had gotten violent about the bill. At least you got yourself out of there with a lesson learned and lived to play successfully another day.

Recently I have been hearing stories of customers having bad experiences in some of Chiang Mai`s massage parlours.

It appears that the majority of massage parlour staff, including the old skanky grannies, who were only recently very keen to oblige with a happy ending for 300 baht have changed they're tactics. Now they are pushing for tips of 500 baht even up to a 1000 baht for a quicky no thrills hand job and sometimes may assert a rather aggressive approach.

The tactic and how it works:

A guy asks for a 1-hour oil massage. The middle-aged granny or maybe younger woman tells the guy to strip off and lay on a mat, table or bed. The guy lies there with only a handkerchief sized towel to cover up his modesty, sometimes there maybe no towel at all in the cubical. Then the lady walks in and begins the massage process. Within only a few minutes she discretely moves off the towel and starts rubbing her hands around his never regions, maybe rubbing her feet against his feet or her legs against his legs in order to get the guy aroused. After about 5 to 10 minutes into the so-called massage the woman will prod the guy and ask him if he wants a special massage? If the guy agrees the woman's next move is to ask, how much he give her? If the guy says. 300 baht tip plus whatever the cost of the massage, then the woman may begin the bartering process and will harass the customer for more and more money in the hope that the guy will give in and pay whatever she demands. If the guy is adamant that he has no interest in a HJ and only wants a straight massage, then the woman will quickly lose interest in the massage, will write off the customer as a loss and the whole event transpires into a boring reluctant formal procedure with the customer counting every second until he's out of there. I have heard of a recent case at a parlour not far from the Loi Kroh Road where a customer was virtually held to ransom by staff until he coughed up with a 1000 baht tip for a HJ.

This has all come about recently, as it seems many of the Chiang Mai massage parlours in the lower price brackets, the grot palaces as I describe them, have amalgamated and now run by a new group of companies or people. They take very little interest in female customers and are mostly geared up for male clientele, fast rub over with goopy oil, HJ, big tip and then onto the next customer.

How to avoid being exploited and ripped off at these so-called massage parlours:

Those who prefer only a massage with no extras, should go for the regular Thai massage, wearing the special top and pants, which they should provide. In many cases when a guy requests an oil massage and lies there practically in the nude, the staff perceive this as an invitation for something extra over and above a standard massage.

If the objective is to receive any sort of sexual service then do the following:

If the woman proceeds with a HJ without asking how much, stop her right from the start and explain how much you are prepared to pay and make sure she fully understands and is agreeable with the offer. Otherwise there is a chance that after the deed is done, she may automatically expect you to pay what she considers as the standard rate, from 500 baht, maybe be up to anything and if not willing to pay, could be faced not being able to get out of there without a fight.

If the woman does offer a HJ but first asks, how much you tip her? Ask how far she is prepared to go? If she responds by saying, only a HJ, no touch me, no nothing else, then whatever you offer over a 300 baht tip has to be left up to the customer's discretion on how much he is prepared to pay. But definitely is not worth any more than 300 baht in my opinion, especially if it`s a passed her sell by date middle aged woman or some grot that no one else would want to shag even for free.

If you actually fancy the woman and she is prepared to let touch, maybe strip off or have FS, then that's up to the customer to decide whatever tip she demands is good value or not.

These days I rarely visit these places anymore. It has all become highly commercial, too fast and too furious for my liking.

IMO, never considered CM, even in the remotest sense, a "mongering" destination so If you have the time, of course, and have a "smattering" knowledge of the Thai language (or are fortunate enough to find (a) Thai girl / woman or girls / women who have some knowledge of English).

1. Purposely avoid the venues where there is no other option other than exchanging money for sex!

2. THEN. Make an attempt NOT to "pay for it". Using politeness, charm, smiles, flattery. Dating activities. Whatever it takes to emotionally "befriend" someone!

The soapy scene is horrible in CNX. I had one night to check it out after taking care of non mongering shit. I drove by three places and it was mostly horrible. The place has been listed as a backup place if everything else fails and I guess thats a fair description. I didn't think it was bad, it's what you get at a 1k massage place. If you drive on your own, ride forward after the turn in to the parking garage. A huge neon sign will now be visible. Supposedly they have a 500bath tuk tuk fee if you arrive with such transport so don't do that. It's hard to justify a 1500 + tip at this place from what I saw.

I did do an image search on those ads prior to applying and some other photos were from online porn sites and other escort agencies, but I`m feeling desperate I suppose, still living in hope that all is not lost on the mongering scene in Chiang Mai.

well general opinions first. liked the city. weather is considerably cooler than patts and bkk. navigations is quite easy. can go many places by walking. if you have a bike or better like motorbike, can reach anywhere with in minutes. food is good, city has many daytime activities enough to keep you busy. mosquitoes were awful, they kept biting me even i used repellent with high deet ratio. definately not a mongering paradise. if i get to the main point:

go go bars: visited 3, spotlight, foxy lady and star 6. star 6 is in loi kroh road strip on the right side. no need to visit this place. because it s dead. there is a joiner fee but dismiss the lady and say want to check out first. you can have more fun at chess club. spotlight is between the gate and loi k. road. its the biggest go go. girls quality is average. only a few lookers. foxy lady is near the meridien. best go go bar in town, for sure. most crowded place with the hottest girls. You are 1/3 to 1/2 right. The walking is correct, motorbike or bike can be a death wish. The problem is, there is no bar, massage parlor or brothel specializing in pregnant girls. None, anywhere. It is not a viable business model.

Walk around red-light areas, especially where numerous streetwalkers hang out (like Beach Road in Pattaya or lower Sukhumwit in Bangkok) , and you'll *ocasionally* run into a pregnant working girl (who, obviously, won't be pregnant a few months later, and was not a few months earlier). I have been to Chiang Mai before and only had the experience at Sayuri.

Following up from my last trip several years back, I could vaguely remember the place. But by RTFF, I got good clues and taken the advice never to get a tuk tuk to the place. You will have to walk past the night bazaar and walk about another 200m and then turn right from the street when you meet a road block. Then you need to walk about another 300m to cross the bridge. There is a traffic light as soon as you cross the bridge and you still need to walk until you come to the 2nd traffic light where U-turn left. Keep walking until you see a sign "Sayuri" and then turn left. You enter the car park and security is there and just walk past and enter the building. Take the stairs and enter the waiting area with fish bowl in sight.

This time the selection was poor, unlike my last visit. There were only 10 girls and few Asian guys watching. Girls were eager may be due to lack of business. Thailand isn't a big country where people come to for a Preggo Fetish (it's openly available in Japan tho). For you to be finding a pregnant girl in Thailand to offer you special services would be very lucky (but not unheard of). There isn't a specific place where you can find it but you should also try some of either the Japanese Forums or Thai Forums, you may get lucky.

First off, there is no longer a practical commercial sex scene in Chiang Mai or certainly not anything worth mentioning. I usually venture out two nights or so during my stay and I always seem to find an OK girl. Is it Pattaya or Bangkok? Not even close. I also think of Chiang Mai as the gateway to Thailand's Hill Country. There are some great treks in the region to remote villages through spectacular scenery. There are also a couple of great motorcycle or car circuit trips. I once took 10 days to complete the Mae Hong Son circuit and I had a really good time. Doi Inthanon National Park is beautiful. Personally, I like Mae Hong Son better than Chiang Mai, but that is just me because I prefer the smaller, quaint, provincial town over the big city.

OK, here's my take based on dozens of trips over the past 7 or 8 years, at least 4 or 5 a year. I may not live there, but I stay on Loi Kroh Road. And when I am there I always go out 2-4 times a visit.


Chiang Mai is no longer a mongers destination and what you have mentioned is definitely not worth making a special trip to Chiang Mai for.I think we are all in agreement. CM is NOT a destination for mongers. If your sole purpose for coming to Thailand is to find girls for sex, CM should NOT be on your itinerary. However, if you're interested in visiting CM for the "touristy" stuff, and I think it's a great place to visit for that, you can find quality girls here with a little bit of searching.

Everyone is different. For some guys it's only about the girls and sex. I recommend they do not visit CM. However, for guys who also want to do some touristy stuff, CM is a great place to visit for some of the same reasons westerners retire there. And I know that quality girls can be found as long as your standards are not super high. Of course,"standards" vary from guy to guy too but I do not consider my bar to be low.

For my personal preferences, if I were to come to Thailand for 2-3 weeks, I would include CM for 2-3 days and I know I will find an attractive girl every night.

I have had some exceptional experiences in fact at some of the beer bars and from both of the go-go's in the past few years, including several in 2013.

I will say that if all you are looking for is top quality, young, super hot girls like you find in the top go-go's in BKK and Pattaya, you probably are not going to find that. But there are girls around on any given night that are still very attractive and great performers. We no longer discuss price. In BKK I give her 2500bt for our usual 3 or 4 hours of modified ST. When I first met her, ST was 2000bt at Baccara. She was real sweet back then so I began giving her tips of 200bt to 500bt and so over time 2500bt became our defacto arrangement. I don't know what ST is now at Baccara. Some board members say they have been quoted 2500bt. All I know is I still give M 2500bt for the evening and she is fine with that. I usually pick her up around 8:30 at the bar. We go out for dinner. She looks good in street clothes and does not wear too much makeup so I can take her anywhere. A lot of times we just go to Love Scene, but she has also turned me on some restaurants off the beaten track and I have taken her to a few high class joints as well. After dinner we go back to my hotel and we watch some Thai soap operas, have a couple shots of Tequila, and get comfortable. Then it is boom boom time. M usually leaves around 12:30am to 1am to hook up with her girlfriends and they unwind at various Thai Discos like Red Sun and bars away from the tourist scene. The girls stay up all night. One of the things I like about M is she never watches the clock and she NEVER goes back to Baccara looking for another customer. We have done LT many times. I have stayed overnight at her apartment a few times too, but I think both of us prefer our modified ST together. After M leaves I usually take a walk down Sukhumvit and wind up on Soi 11. Most helpful when you think many WGs charge Baht 4000 L / T which turns into a semi-LT.Context is everything. I have know M a long time. If I asked a Rainbow 4 girl I just met about coming with me on trip somewhere she would probably ask 3 or 4 thousand a day plus barfine. A FL might be happy with 1000bt per day plus free food, drinks and nice accommodations.

OK, here are some easy to follow instructions:

I`m taking you from the Charoen Muang Road end of Bamrung Rajd Road.

Turn left into the Bamrung Rajd Road at the traffic lights, you're be heading towards the British Consulate but you won't go that far.

Travel along the Bamrung Rajd Road for about 1 kilometre. On the left you will see a Soi. Right on the corner of this Soi is a ladies dress and sexy underwear shop and outside the dress shop is a bright red post box. It`s the first post box on the Bamrung Rajd Road on the left and within feet on the right just inside this Soi there is a public phone box, well, it was there 6 months ago.

Over the last few months I have visited some Chiang Mai massage parlours in the town and so have some friends who have given me reports of their experiences.

Now it seems that over the last year the days of receiving a standard oil massage followed by a 300 baht quickie happy ending have gone. In the Loi Kroh Road and surrounding areas many massage girls that are even half decent lookers are asking 700 baht up to 1000 baht just for a no touch, no thrills, bog standard 3 minute HJ and it appears this practice is expanding to massage parlours all over Chiang Mai.

A friend claimed that in one massage parlour, just off the Loi Kroh Road, a not so good looking plump woman in her late 30s offered to go topless and give a HJ, but no touching permitted for 15000 baht, not including the price of the so-called 10 minute massage he received, and my friend is reasonable looking only in his early 40s, not some gross old granddad in his 70s.

There are also a few so-called fancy spas that have opened in the more remote parts of town offering body to body massage by what they claim to be lookers, charging between 16000 baht up to 2000 baht or more for a massage finishing with a HJ. They can be found by doing a search in Google, typing in, Chiang Mai Locator. It appears that these establishments will offer anything other than full sex, but are charging full sex prices.

There are still a few massage parlours around located in some of the back Sois staffed by stinky old grannies that will oblige a HJ for more or less what they are offered, but these really are last minute desperation resorts.

Their technique now seems to be, give a quick body rub over with some goop and then begin slightly touching the never regions and asking; you want? How much you tip me? I always reply; I will tip according to how far the girl is prepared to go and the type of service she gives. This never seems to be excepted by them and then will push to 1000 baht for a no thrills HJ and will drop to 700 baht if you argue the price, which now appears to be the standard ploy.
