The car registration cert is registered under your name.
Insurance can be bought along those changlun kopitiam, many places can be done in this.. Just pass your passport and car registration cert to them, he will fill in all the forms for you. You will get a sticker written in thai, that is your car insurance, must be sticked to your windscreen.

2nd
Approching imigration and custom. Imigration only deal with your passport, you need to find the custom counter to register your car going into thailand. imigration and custom counter is attached in one booth, but different counter. Give your car registration and the passport to the custom, the officer will key in all your car & driver info. a print out custom form will hand to you, then you walk 2 step to another counter, you need to make 2 signature on the custom form. after verify, the custom officer give you back a copy. (IMPORTANT) You must keep the custom copy carefull, don't lost it.

3rd
Go enjoy till dry up your sperm container.

4th
Coming back to malaysia. You must MUST must hand the custom form back to the custom counter, the custom counter is at the last booth. Pass the form back to the counter and sign on the book. Finish..

You can drive anyone car into thailand. Let say you Cheongka drive Daijek car into thailand. Daijek not going along in the car. What you need to do is a letter, address to THAILAND CUSTOM. A very simple letter will be ok, just saying Mr Daijek i/c no 12345657 owner of car number www1234 model xxx, authorise Mr Cheongka i/c no 967967967 to drive the car into thailand.

One important thing is, me Daijek, have signed the car registration cert and the signature must be match with the letter.

You must use the original car registration cert.

If your car reg cert still with your bank, bank can provide you an official letter as replacement of your car reg cert. Need to check with bank la, i never done this b4.

Hi,
Just to add the below;

- If you forgot to hand the custom form back to custom they will NOT ban you from driving car into Thailand but need to pay “certain amount” of fine PER DAY…......

- To expedite the process, enclosed 20 baht together with car registration and the passport to the custom officer. I can guarantee that there will be NO questions ask. For your information, I never use my original car registration cert. when drive in. Anyway! for the first time drive in, you better listen to Bro Daijek to bring along the original one.

as usual took the bus from kl which start at 9pm and reach the custom 5am. it is with such a anxious feeling that why can’t we cross over but had to wait for that one hour that seems like forever.
the custom for malaysia is smooth as normal and the thai custom i would said also improved greatly in term of speed. the officer seems more hands on as compare to when it first implemented the computer imaging system.

6am the mobile alarm wake up the tired body. The sweetheart was also awaken. Told her that I wanted to go to the morning market to perform dana. She nodded and said she need more rest. Maybe it is the amulet of charm given by the monk is working. The waitress just can’t take her eyes away from Jake. Shall we had stay in Pathalung she will be our host of the night to disco and end up a night with her and her sister who show us some disco dancing with the music blasted from a small radio player hahahah.

5pm reach HatYai . Mike ask to be drop off at the Lee Garden hotel as he wanted to go for some shopping. SMSed Bro TV of our arrival and the WL shall be with Jake in no time.

On the 2nd Jan, took a Konsortium Bus Express to Hatyai and it was delayed for 1 and 1/2 hours. Supposed to board at 10 pm but the bus only arrived at 11.30 pm. It happened to me twice already......both over an hour waiting.

Imagine waiting at the smelly, dirty and noisy Puduraya!!

Suggest to take Eltabina or KBES double decker. If only Air Asia reinstate the flights service to Hatyai!

For the folks that don't know, Konsortium Bus Express to Hatyai from Puduraya is value! Tip. Fridays and Long weekends are the worst. Try to schedule you trip at a non peak hour time during a Thai working weekday.

I took the 'Snoozer' bus with just 24 seats! The bus has these first class style airline seats with on demand television screens in the headrests.
Eltabina or KBES double decker has similar setups. Plenty of legroom and comfy. I think one was 'CACTUS' or something.

I think you will find that ALL the bus companies are very punctual, except when they are screwed over by Thai customs, especially the Farang -others line.At one stage, a bribe of 1 ringitt per passport, and some unknown amount off the bus driver. When they 'loose' 2 hours in border crossings, schedules get thrown - do not worry - LCCC airlines run late, often , too.

The problem with Puduraya bus station is that it is not big enough, and often 15 minutes before, they round you up and the bus is parked along the road outside.

2) Will there be an increase of price in terms of Hotels & Farms?

3) Can someone please recommend me a nice hotel to stay within the budget of 600 – 900 and preferly having the farms nearby?

4) Which KFC farm are highly recommended by the brothers here?

1) Better avoid to go during CNY if you are 1st timer. You will be dissapointed. Why? Because 1st... not so much choice for you to choose even though you go as early as 10am to farm. Only dinosaur left...and their price gone from 1k baht to 2k++ baht for their category. Trust me. I've been there.
2) Yes..price increases everywhere... hotels, food and not to mention girls.
3) I doubt you got any rooms available if you dont book in advance.
4) Walk around Channivet.

That's all. Believe it or not it's up to you.

Yah, not a good idea to go during CNY.

Crowded, everything is expensive, and I mean everything. Good looking girls will be pre-booked, those with teerak don't have to say. Traffic is horrendous if you're going by road not too mention the looong queue at the border, yuck!

Make sure you have your rooms booked before going. Some like to go during this period because of the festive mood, but I don't think it'll be good for a first timer unless maybe if you have some old hands tagging along.

If you have to go, because this is the only time you can get a decent break from work, then good luck! If you're thinking of getting some nice chick to bonk and stay in the room mostly, you may end up with a trip that's all shopping and eating, paying more and minus nice girl.

you are right about police going after puying without ic especially the syt .. most of them were no where to be found, at least around satit hotel area in the day time. however, try to cover as much base as possible since my trip was short .

before checking into oliver hotel ( rate at rm 68 plus two breakfast ) , dived straight for my two hours of oil massage. tried to look for no 21 from the oscar hotel but she's not available. as i wanted a ping pong massage , need to find a better looking one to massage my jewel or else .. lepas steam man ! managed to choose a sweet puying no 46. sweet talk her for an overnight for rm 200 which she agreed. i thought to myself , no bad loh .. can party , can massage and can screw ( she said min 2 times ) .. but she can only be available after 8 pm. i thought to myself .. well not bad a deal !

Made a trip to mens meat heaven on the 3rd day of CNY, only to be greeted by news of multiple bombing of 4 southern cities. Well what to do? Already reach so decided to stay on. Well to cut the story short.

Went to shopping at Chanvatte at 9. 00 am and was greeted by shouts of ' Ah Hiah, come come ' never in my life I felt so welcome by the fair sex inviting you to screw her except here in the LOS (well Land of smiles, land of sex, land of screws. Imagine on a saturday 1pm, usually by this hour, most farms puyin already booked. 5 of us went window shopping at jenny and nearby farms, still have alot nice looking puyin, Price at 2000baht and below, no need to bargain, mamasan auto discount 500baht. 2 of my frens pick for the day at 1500baht. 1 consider still ok, can go along dinner and walk around but her mouth like zipped, another are sleeping queen, only stay at room waiting to be bonk.

For me, i book back my dino prc from alladin. Heard from a hty fren say, at the back of Siam city hotel got a hotel name "KING Hotel" this place got nice looking PRC. No time check it out, maybe next trip will.

Just back from Haadyai 2 days ago.It is now pretty quiet.Odeon Shopping
Centre not packed anymore with one whole floor selling food by coupons
closed for months already Inter Hotel now being refurbished and my
favourite Singapore Hotel pretty quiet too.Even the fruits sold at Sadao are
half the price and the pork dumplings sold there are negoitable if bought in
quantity.
Bank to mongering I only saw a night walker in front of Laem Thong Hotel.
Despite the low attention to this spot fuelled be negative news in Malaysian
newspapers in the weeks past the prices for mongering are not very
negoitable IMHO.

Hi bro PJ.Many fled to Danok, a sprinkling to Padang Besar which incidentally is
the cheapest mongering destination if you know the ropes, and one or two to
Sadao which actually has 2 air cond hotels.
If you are a very frquent visitor you would realize from these places to
Haadyai is a long way off......at least an hour by bus.
I think before long locals would be the majority mongering in Haadyai unless
the scnario changes with positive Malaysian press reports for example.

Heard many stories of booked puyin, the puyin will find excuse to skip away. Unless puyin is strongly recomended by someone, have a time in hatyai thread here, we call them ACE. Those are the days...

Is true hard to get a GFE gals in HTY now, is not that "no have" have, but, without a trusted recomendation, we dunno which one is GFE. For me, i have lost interest to book puyin, don't wanna let them a single chance to spoil my holiday mood.

maybe you can try talk it out with the okt or mamasan 1st before your finger point to your desired puyin.. Ask them, do your gals go missing in half way? Do your gals go north when you want go south? Do your gals give limited papau? Do your farm allow change of puyin, if you complaint the puyin service sucks or gone MIA? Tell them your part of stories, that many of your frens got dissapointed service in HTy farms. Also tell them HTY gals already down graded by international rating thru internet. (don't tell them what website la..k)

Sc gals i got no comment, Ditto will say i ketuk SC again, haha.. just a simple advice if taking SC gals, beside the 5k baht booking fees, prepare more $ to be burn on entertaiment & etc, they very good to make you spend happily.

SC full name is SC Heritage Hotel that is located inconveniently to explain, take a tuk-tuk and tell him SC model, he will know where to bring you. You still pay the same price of 5,000baht regardless.

Stock varies from 10+ to miserable few depending on season. For quality wise, you got to view to judge yourself. I have yet to find one worthy of the price tag.

To be honest, it is really rare to find a quality WL from farms, letting alone a good GFE one and yes, quality standard and choices are dropping compared to golden years. Danok is surely giving a fierce competition and grab most of the border cheongsters that could could have been a bulk of Hatyai farm biz.

For those who are jaded with routine booking, can try alternative source like introduced by another lady, friend's friend, from disco, shopping center, on the road, etc.. Doors of opportunities will open once you free yourself from the routine booking process. You will also find the real freedom without restriction of having a WL sticking with you and occupying your bed. You will have more motivation to look around for companion better.

For us, we stay very little hours in the room, probably the few sleeping hours while spending the rest partying and go around places. If you have build enough ladies contact, you will never worried of getting lonely and getting onto bed is another step ahead, though it very much depends on the several main factors too.

One yr ago do have one very active ISG member station at HTY, he provide us the most promising puyin with reasonable price. I allow him to pre book the ACE for me.. And he follow up telling the puyin on this date she'll be booked, and build up somes chemistry for me by telling the puyin some story of us. When we arrive the farm, her GFE is already build up with instant DFK and never letting go HUGs.. Too bad he is retired now.

For me, i prefer to book PRC at HTY now, maybe PRc are far away from their hometown, and they purely coming to HTY work hard look for money. Puyin home are just around the next block, and too much friends to mix around that cause them MIA.

I think if you can communicate with them(puyin), I am sure that majority of them will give you a good GFE.

Most of Hatyai's kaki already switched to Danak, due to that most of the popular puyin also moved to Danok.

We found that the charges of puyin are really higher than Hatyai. Average they charge RM250-RM300.Of cause you can get it lower than that as Bro 3173 can get it less that RM150, but I do not know the "quality".
I am talking the young and pretty puyin who worked in Mutiara, Shen Chen and etc. You will get the puyin after 6pm only. If these puyin works in Hatyai, I am sure that the price will not exceed RM200.

So, I would like to urge all bro not to pay these puyin so high prices, RM200 should be reasonable. If the puyin serve you until you forget your name, then you may pay her a good tips. Hope NOT to spoil the market. What's say you?

Daijek you seems to switching base to LOS and other places. I went Jkt last year, it was great. Best monger cum travel experience I ever had so far. Lets talk about going there next time via PM, hehe.

As for this lovely town, I will visit it this June or July, just to give it some economic boost, ehem, and to find cheap yet quality WL, get some nice pork rice, and get some good old massage. Thinking about it, my body is aching now. :D

Yes, much has shifted to Danok as to be expected given the very long distance to Haadyai.The prices have equally soared in recent times too as
punters tend to overpay.Also it was easy to sneak in with just an i/c for an
overnight tryst.
I remember just 2 years ago you could get overnighters for just 1000 baht if
you wait by the main road just yeards from the border gate around midnight
The reason is simple.To the OKT its more income anyway or the girls have
to sleep alone for the night.
PRCs are now RM300 up abd I think pRCs back in Penang or BM are way cheaper and prettier.Something has to be wrong somewhere.
Maybe try Padang Besar for a change.Plenty of KTVs, cheap NLs.
The entry point is very modern nowadays and a ride to town 3kms is only
RM3.

Just got back from our lovely kampung. Now it is really lack of tourist and the whole town look a bit lonely as compare to last time.

Went to farm shopping with friends and the OKT quote only 1500 baht. Very seldom you will hear 2000 baht.

The speciality of this disco is they have a pool on the middle of the stage where the girl dance and shower in there. From all these recent reports, I must prepare to go sooner rather later.

In 2005 all my trips, I paid 1500 for all ladies except for 1 who asked or 1700, who is good value cause she is the best Hatyai gal I ever had so far. This time I will try SKY instead. Previous trips visited Chanivet only.

You might wanna try 'ChaoPhraya4' which is nearby Water Bar pub. It has more girls then Pink Lady, better quality and service. It is a bit more expensive but you can find so called 'model' looks ladies. Another place you might wanna try is Mae Nam Hotel and Atami Hotel. Those places has massage parlours but it is not as good as Pink or Chao Phraya4. In those 2 hotels, the service is approx 700 baht only per session but the quality of the ladies range from 5-7 rating. 2. Any particular hotel to recommend? We want to avoid the tour group hotels with all the families and kids. I used to stay at Sakura. Is it still any good?

3. We'll be arriving about 2pm on thursday. What would be our chances of fixing up some company for the night? Or should we just make do with some massage or something and try our luck the next day?

4. Now the most impt qn: We are a bunch of 40 something guys AND all Indians - Singaporeans actually - what kind of reception/service can we expect? Sorry to ask this but I know from experience that the Thais can be quite racist sometimes.

2. It depends on your budget. Now, there are two Sakura hotels.
3. There should be choices still available at that time. Go and have a look, then decide.

Unless it is peak holiday season, otherwise should have amber choice of hotels on Thursday. Online booking is usually more expensive, better to buy vouchers from travel agent like Lovely Tour or 707.

Sakura Grand Plaza is the new hotel just opp Sakura. At 850baht and pretty convenient location, one of the pop hotel with Sporean.

2pm is still early for farm tour. Print the farm map and explore arund. There are chicks everywhere even right till middle of the night.

There are quite a few nice affordable hotels around hatyai city area. As what Dr.Devil mentioned, new Sakura hotel is located quite close to Lee-Garden shopping area. If you know the distance, you could walk and avoid taking tuk-tuk. Other recommended hotels from my POV is New Season and Golden Crown. New Season is a new hotel located very near to Lee Garden Plaza Hotel and cost approx 800 baht plus, if you get a voucher from any tour agency in hatyai. The room is spacious, clean and nice. It also has nice bathroom and safe deposit box. Golden Crown is another hotel which I would usually stay during my visits as it is also quite new, clean and cheap (680 baht). Some ppl might not know where it is but it is just behind New Season Hotel. You can call these hotels for reservations from the numbers I provide below. Usually, New Season and Golden Crown are fully booked on weekends, so call to book at least 10 days earlier.

As for the farm scouting, as mentioned many times in this thread, channivate and See Kim Yong are 2 primary hotspots for the usual hunting venues. Recently, there are not many mongerers venture in hatyai as many of them divert to Danook. If you would to prefer better looking ladies, you might wanna try Kiss lounge in Garden Homme hotel but it not really my recommendation due to high price. I'm not too sure of the famous ExC in Heritage Hotel which might still operate at this moment, but 5000 baht is just too ridiculous for me, unless the girl provide a mind-blowing service and gives u an unforgetable experience. Well, i hope u do enjoy yr stay in hatyai.

Yah Sakura is a nice hotel to stay in, room is clean and its just around 850. And the massage centre below were good, and damage was at 240. For 2 hours. And there is a KTV beside it, full of pretty girls but have not try it before, forgotton the name.

Sakura Massage voucher is 200baht for 2 hours massage but beware that it is their common practise to cut short the time, so time it yourself. Old Sakura Massage has some pretty nice SYT too as they has outcall service, so got a chance to earn extra income while Sakura GV is strictly indoor.

Most of the hotels allow you to provide the voucher after check-in or by the next morning if you request. You can call the travel agency to bring the voucher & change money at the hotel as well.

Hi guys. Dannok seems to be all the rage at this moment. Recently went for a short stint there & it was excellent. Chicks to be picked up every where other than at the Farms. Heard from a friend in hatyai today that another bomb went off this morning but not sure how many ppl were injured. I just came back from Hatyai with some friends last weekend(the day it went off) and I guess I was lucky to escape the unfortunate event.

Although the farm chicks were quite ok and cheap, avoid Pizza karaoke as the pimp is desperate and out of his mind. It is just beside Pizza 2 karaoke in channivate soi 3. As me and my friends were coming out from Pizza 2, the pimp came and grab us in rudely and almost wanted to fight with us as we decline to go in to have a look at his girls. He also insulted us with vulgar words and we just went off and avoid the fight. The pimp looks quite fat and dark skin and can speak Cantonese. This happens first time ever and it is quite a shock. Heads up and be careful for those who walk past Pizza karaoke. I have to agree most farms prices have gone down even for quite hot looking girls. When the military coup took place I went with a friend to Danok for 4 hours
and found the place very peaceful.Birds were availble though not in numbers
I even appeared on TV1 and other Malay newspapers as by 12 noon there were only 3 who entered Thailand .

The high price is actually spoilt by you know who.Why not bargain in the first
place, I always tell everybody.At the extreme case the OKT will call out to you for overnighter for only 500baht around midnight, right at the immigration
box where they sell car insurance.A bit more risky, admittedly since you do not know which farm she comes from.
On the other hand since it is midnight 500 baht is better than no business,since Malaysians cannot cross after 10pm
There is a luxury hotel in the distance you can see from the border called KPK I think, which has a swimming pool.A bit nearer is a Chinese sounding luxury hotel with bowling alley to boot.Across the road is another brand new hotel near Hi Class Hotel for only 500 baht.
So who says Danok is inferior?
It is the lack of Malaysians going there for some reason or another that caused the UTC bus service to discontinue the direct service from Alor Star
to Kayu Hitam to my utter regret.
Otherwise it would have cost only RM10 from Butteworth for Penangites to go there.Luckily there is a train service which cost me only RM5.60 to go there
from Butterworth.Now who's complaining about high costs?

I might add I liked it so much that soon after I discovered the place I stopped going to Haadyai except to look for a friend , buy sunglass,straw hat,do banking and the like.And it was several years ago now.I liked the shows there except for the odd foreigner who also wanted to take part.

You can try Her Jia and Oliver which only cost you RM70 inclding 2 breakfast. They should be the top 3 hotels in Danok. KBK is the most expensive(less than RM100) hotel but it is not a walking distance to most popular night sopts.
Of cause there are plenty of hotels which cost you less than RM50.
For puying, you can try your luck in Bangkok bar, Paragon disco, Karaoke and etc which cost you RM100-RM150 for overnight after 9pm.

I reached Danok at 9pm on Friday(June 1st) and can't find any room in Oliver, Her Jia, KPK or Oscar hotel. Have to stayed in a hotel which cost RM50 but the room is really small.
Reached Paragon at 9.45pm but there is no table available.
The bombing in Hatyai seems no any impact in Danok.

This is a brand new gateway to paradise ..massage only 100baht, 120 baht in own room, karaoke abound.Yet hardly anyone goes there.Only 4km from Malaysian border.Very cheap food if you buy like locals, and very cheap fruits when in season.

Just got back from Hatyai. Was working in Perlis and with 2 buddies. Have been thinking of stopping at Danok or direct to HYT. So I called one of my friend girl, now working in Padang Besar liao. But decided to go hatyai as planned to go pink lady for a good wash haha.

Reach border at Changlun around 1: 30 then got a cab to HYT for rm40. And planned to stay at usual Hotel Sakura, but the driver told us to have a view on new hotel, Golden Crown Hotel. Only cost 800 baht, so went to view at room, its a new rerenovated hotel with nice rooms. So decided to stay there for a night.

Reach there check in hotel then when going up to room the bell boy show some pictures of pretty girls, so decided to go for a mirror for some girls. Around 10 min 4 girls came in with the mummy, they cost 2000 baht each. One of the girl is so friendly and speak good cantonese, I think my friend liking becuase she speak cantonese, that is his first criteria because he said before need to get a girl speak cantonese, face look around 7/10 and she is so friendly. Another friend girls came all the way from padang. Then my turn choose girls, 3 of them not my liking, then 2 more girls came in and one looks very young around 19-20 yrs old. Then the girl that speak cantonse already choosen by my friend keep promotiong that girl saying that her service is good, so lazy to choose and tought why not give a try and terrible mistake. You can get minibuses near the station (or from any of the multitudinous travel agents) in HY for about 300 baht which takes about 3 hours. Get a ticket the day before then ask what time they leave, you'll want to be in Butterworth by 9am (Malay time) to be safe for a midday flight. Allow 4 hours from the time the say they'll leave because they often leave a bit late so they can pick up some extra passengers. Yikes, that means planning to depart at 4am (if I have my timezone calculations right).

They'll drop you right next to the ferry in Butterworth, and the ferries leave very frequently (less than RM1 I think). In Georgetown, grab a cab - no idea how much that'll be.

The other way to do it is to grab the early morning train from Hat Yai to Butterworth (then ferry, cab).... they seem to run pretty well on time, but I am not sure if it gets to Butterworth early enough for you. I strongly recommend that you buy tickets in advance. The train is slower (I think) because the [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) around at the border for a while..

Minibuses departure times are 9.30am, 12.30pm and 3.30pm (Thai time)
and it takes about 4 hours for the journey.
Train departs only once per day at 3.50pm from Hatyai and reach Butterworth around 9.30pm local time.

I have tried the minivan once. It is not possible for you to make it to airport by noon, even by the earliest departure. Better stay overnight at Penang.

A better option is to change the flight to a later time if possible, say 3pm Malaysia time. I'm sure you prefer this option ;)

Just came back from Hat Yai. Well, HY is really so quiet now. I should say it's a dead city now. Anyway, cut it short, been to Kiss channel but empty. Stay there for about 2 hours ( after finishing the black label ) then my puying suggest to move to this new pub so called as Sa-Bai. Quite happening. I think you guys should try this pub in stead of sticking with kiss channel. :)

The next day, i depart from HY at danok. Well, i should say Danok is much much more happening than HY. You can see the crowd there. Yeah, i agree it's like a cowboy town for danok nothing much to do there... But i feel the choices and quality of puying in danok is even better than the choices of HY. Just my 2 bahts ya.

I think Betong should be all right for you.At the very least there are the afternoon shows to see.

In Danok the shows are generally good but the noise from music is still ear splitting.

I was in Pattaya for 10 days and Jomtien for 4 days and Si Racha for a day and finally Bangkok for 2 days.Really enjoyed myself there.Shows in Pattaya are more class and much cheaper in the long run and not so loud that you can keep a conversation.Maybe because the orang putehs demand it.

Punters should really try other areas like Koh Damui (I am going there 11 Aug)
Padang Besar and Danok.

I wonder how Haadyai will survive long term except to revert to its previous status as an industrial town, with generally negative Malaysian press news.
I also wonder why punters want to take the extra 45min or 1 hour drive from
the border, which is not only more costly but hot and inconvenient in this
changing world climate of global warming.I still go there but only for banking and the stock market.

Dannok has long ago planned for this great change by building new hotels all
over the place, only to face newspaper reports of bombings, etc in foreign papers.

Just to add some information to Danok;
70% of the puying at Danok are Burmese. You can easily get the PRC there as well. The puying's price range from RM250-RM350. I am refering to young and pretty one. You definitely can get lower than that price especially at Disco or any place there after 9pm.
I found that most of the pretty and young puying did not do booking and they will only drink with you to get the tips(to pass their time), this is because they already have so called "Darling". I met with few guys and they told me they pay about RM3-5K monthly to their 'tirak'. I am sure some of Bro here not earn that much money. Is it worth it? Really can't answer it!
But I did see many puying do not sincere to their Tirak.

Drived all the way from PJ to visited the Kampong last Sunday. Stayed in Golden Crown Plaza Hotel, THB850 + 70 Internet. Kampong is very quiet nowaday.
Normally visit Andrew 1st as OKT nice so went to Andrew KO in SKY, gals around 10, Price 150 to 250. 3 gals with 8/10 or above. Wanna see more so go Chanivat ended up taking 1 new from Sammi KO name Ing just arrived from ChiangMai acc to OKT. Overnite with 3 session as too tired.

Betong is a quiet town now-adays and I like it that way ... no need to compete with other cheongers on selections and all at a slower pace. 1. Accomodation

Think some hotels have reduced their prices from the last time. Stayed at Grand View at RM 52 / night or Baht 500. It was above Baht 600, if I wasn't wrong previosuly. Avoid rooms above the “ Kiss me” disco if you want a good nights rest. Clean and spacious rooms !

South Siam Hotel also going for RM 50. Clean rooms !

The new Mandarin Hotel ( maybe Merlin Mandarin ) is huge and beautiful and I think it's going for around RM 120.

Cathay Hotel - Baht 550

Nice Resort - Baht 500

Hotel such as Sri Betong and Merlin is still going strong but didn't check out the rates

2. Disco & Pubs

As I could recall from my previous trip, the pub scene starts around 1 pm and ends at around 5 pm. but now it's a 12 noon to 9 pm thingy with pounding of the huge speakers.

Joker Bar ( beside Merlin Hotel )

Still the same kind of atmosphere but the reasonable stunning girls are all gone ! You will find more Yunan puying than the local puyings. Going rate for these Yunan girls is around RM 300 and they are all so young and petite. So , if you are into these, head on straight to the Joker and the building beside Joker where the pimps operate.

Grand View Disco Pub

Now, some promotion on Heineken is on .. gets cheaper with the volume . the show girls from Bangkok are fabs but not for booking unless you look like Brad Pitt. However , there are some 6 plus looking puying available for booking at baht 2500 . baht and BHT 500 goes to the management !

Nice Resort

Wow , I luv this place and should have been here earlier. Better stocks of puying and the Bangkok show / models girls are also bookable ( at a higher rates ). Heineken going for buy one free one between 1 - 3 pm. Since it was a weekdays, the puyings were plentiful and choices are reasonable with a few hot lookers. Drived all the way from PJ to visited the Kampong last Sunday. Stayed in Golden Crown Plaza Hotel, THB850 + 70 Internet. Kampong is very quiet nowaday.

Been to had yai for 2 weeks to taste whats on offer.

Had a feeling things would be dead after this thread dried up

Some good and bad news

First the good. It still is a place to visit for one of mans favourite pastimes and plenty of puyings around to help us stay in good shape

Bad news. Finding a decent girl that performs the way us gentlemen like them too is hard to find. The chicken farms have alot of stock and still have the usual combinations of good/average/need to retire back to the farm types. However they seem to have a price change and increased up to the 2300/2500 bht mark and sometimes it doesnt matter how early you start the rounds (chanivat and KSY) the best looking girls are already booked and they still want you to pay the higher rate. So have to negotiate down to get a fair price. Best to check out as many as possible as some are still fair for 1500/2000 bht and nice looking.

I don't know what is wrong with Andrew in KSY as each time we went to have a look the papason waved us away and didn't see any puyings inside. I have some of my best memories with some of those girls.

Standard of service. They are always happy to provide the first shot then its into the bathroom for a wash and night time make-up and nighty. Sheesh what a turn off. I should add I usually get the girl to arrive about 7pm after I've had dinner and then stay inside hotel room. So then hope to get 2 or 3 sessions before bedtime. Sometimes the girl complains about headache or something. I would say its a 50/50 chance to get a starfish/nighty girl who only performs once if possible. Then I would either kick her out or wait till morning if I couldn't get rid of her and then no tip if she asks. It is very important when choosing your puying to make sure she is happy to have been chosen by you. If she speaks no english at all, I can speak some thai but it comes down to her attitude. Look at her face to see what expression is showing as if there's no smile then no special performance later.

There were still alot of highlites for me. Some of the puying had a fantastic attitude and would please me like a be/f. Also whenever I went to CP4 I had a 100% success rate where I would always get the option for 2 shots and treated very well for short time. Rates were 2000/1800/1600/1400 bht. I rate CP4 as the best parlour in Thailand.

Also checked out chintana $700. About 10 puyings and quality about 6/7. 10 Atami was quiet and never saw anyone inside. Always looked during the day

Went to Songhla for a few days to check out the action and its not as big as Had Yai but still can have some fun. With the help of a local tuk tuk guide we went to 2 places. The first one didn't like us and asked us to leave. Not sure why but may be for thai's only. Not to worry as he had a backup for us. We went to a local brothel where the puying live onsite in small rooms. The puying were average looking but made up for it in attitude. We paid a little too much 800 bht 1/2 hour but just wanted a quickie.

Found a very new building in the main street for restaurants/bars which looked totally out of place with no windows on the ground floor and with a sign in neon saying "OPEN" and a thai word on the front. Took a look inside and seemed like a mini hotel but really its a short time hotel and after talking with the lady in charge she woke up 2 puyings sleeping in 1 of the rooms. They looked really cute sleeping in the same bed. Hot hot hot 9/10's I would have been happy to have picked them both but settled for one as my mate would have been pissed. Cost 1500 bht plus 280 bht for the room for a hour. And had the time of my life.

Also my mate's girl was very new and was prepared to go bareback. Luckily he brought he own condoms in cases such as these.

Got my puyings phone number and met her the next day for more fun.

That about covers most of it. I could add a few more things if anyone is interested didn't mean to write so much but the memories keep flooding back.

1st time to this shithole due to security issues in hdy. stayed at kpk hotel which is the most top grade hotel in the area. our local 'guide' booked the hotel for us at rm90 per night but we later found out that it actually cost rm70 per night and you get 2 bottles of free beer or something like that at their lounge. i supposed our 'guide' walloped the rm20 and beer promotion. the room was shabby and if you compared to diamond in hdy which also cost rm90, then kpk is definitely a rip-off. i'd rather pay rm110 at novotel in hdy which is a proper hotel. btw, in danok, they would rather use rm instead of tbh and most places will actually give you change in rm even if you pay in tbh.

the girlies there are surprisingly many but the system is more on fishing massage girls or picking them up at bars and discos. the happening place is bar berry where they have cayote dancing girls who are in the 'model' class. they dance sexily on stage and you buy them flowers at rm50 a pop. after spending a couple of hundred bucks, they'll stick to you like you're the man and then when you ask them to spend the night, they'll say rm400-600! fucking hell, this is like bkk price and in this shithole, no thank you. then off we went to paragon disco which is just beside bar berry... your normal super bass pounding disco but didn't catch any fishes there.

went back to the hotel lounge which is promoting china gals. there are two types of china gals in danok. one is the real china dolls with the normal china face and the other is from yunan which is slightly darker and can pass for local thai. at the lounge, they have the real china dolls who will sit with you for rm50 and if you buy their time, it costs rm150 or so and then you have to negotiate for the fucking price (somehwere rm200 above). again, you look at the total, it is at least rm300 plus which is not cheap. most of the girls there are butt ugly anyways so didn't take any.

ordered a gal for massage from sitat or something like that and it cost rm30 for 2 hrs! wtf, hdy only rm25 and this shithole charges more???!!! anyway, found out the massage girl was from yunan and she's very much **** so didn't do the deed with her. massage skill below par but i guess her main line of business is not massage.

food wise, there's plenty roadside stalls and i tried the supposedly famous wanton mee but it was not that great. price perhaps slightly cheaper than hdy.

during my 2 nights there, i didn't cheong at all and was most disappointed. i did go into hdy for a day trip and have to say that it is fairly quiet. pink lady has like 4 girls working while cp4 has more but again, nothing caught my fancy....i think i was put off by danok. don't think i'll waste my time at danok again.

small price to pay for the convenience of a local guide, otherwise you won't be finding your ways around either which could cost you even more money and time wasted.

bcos rm is lower than tbh, example if rm10 = 950bath, they are making of 50bath from each time changing rm with your bath which could make up a lot to them.

fishes are everywhere, you just need bait to hook them. i guess that is the lucky price that the wl hoping to get. it is all boils down to demand vs supply, if she is hot with few of customers bidding each other, naturally she has more choice to choose. so, ask yourself if you are going to pay the premium for her beauty or get someone else. plenty of choices everywhere.

went back to the hotel lounge which is promoting china gals. there are two types of china gals in danok. one is the real china dolls with the normal china face and the other is from yunan which is slightly darker and can pass for local thai. at the lounge, they have the real china dolls who will sit with you for rm50 and if you buy their time, it costs rm150 or so and then you have to negotiate for the fucking price (somehwere rm200 above). again, you look at the total, it is at least rm300 plus which is not cheap. most of the girls there are butt ugly anyways so didn't take any.

hourly price is rm15, are you not sure you heard the rate correctly and not over drunk? yes, it do cost more than booking those directly from farm but you get to build up the feel with her before deciding to pay to book her, so better chance to have a bettter choice.

ordered a gal for massage from sitat or something like that and it cost rm30 for 2 hrs! wtf, hdy only rm25 and this shithole charges more???!!! anyway, found out the massage girl was from yunan and she's very much **** so didn't do the deed with her. massage skill below par but i guess her main line of business is not massage.

if you wanted a good massage, be specifically say so.. especially if you are particular about it.

food wise, there's plenty roadside stalls and i tried the supposedly famous wanton mee but it was not that great. price perhaps slightly cheaper than hdy.

one major lacking in danuk is good food as majority are there for just a quickie few happy hours and back to the other side of the border, so restaurant are not actually having good biz, just some road side stall.

and also bcos of its closeness with msia border down, most of the better looking wl are most too busy occupied by their regulars to serve new customer, so got to know how to flash cash to earn some attention. ultimately, you are there for a happy time, don't get too upset with little over budget, pamper yourself sometime as you don't get to do this every other day.

Danok and Had Yai, Thailand for Farang Visitors - 2007 trip

1./ Danok is one of the southern border crossing points of Thailand. Here you can enter Malaysia. The locality is called Sadao and this is what will be stamped in your passport. Danok is right on the border, you just walk in. There is no town on the Malaysian side. The nearest large Thai town is Had Yai about 50 km away. But if you are here for the sex there is plenty to do in Danok.

2./ Sharing your food is good. Sharing your beer is better. Sharing your fuckers is the best. It builds friendship among men of all nations and eliminates violence and fighting. We can say: "We fucked these hookers together!" What an achievement.... oh boy! And freedom from woooomen!

3./ If you have been to the other Thai/Malay sex-border town of Sungai Kolok then you will be pleasantly surprised in Danok. It is so much more civilised, clean and nice. But despite of this, hardly any farang come here. Why? The locals are friendly enough, you will be serviced well and the prices are reasonable. Forget Pattaya! Come to Danok instead!

In Danok there is plenty of cheap and quality accomodation (200-700B), banks, ATMs, minimarts, markets, restaurants.

To get there you approach either from Malaysia (Alor Star or Penang) or Had Yai - the nearest large Thai town.

To get to the thai town of Had Yai you can fly from Bangkok, take the overnight sleeper train from Hualampong or overnight bus from Bangkok's Sai Tai southern bus station. Direct buses also run from Phuket, Krabi and Surat Thani.

*** From Had Yai ***

From Had Yai there are minibuses all day, leaving to Danok when full. the trip is 50 km and takes one hour. Costs 50B. From Had Yai's BKS bus station the minibuses leave from stand #26. The ticket counter is behind a row of glass windows on the far end. When you pay you get a number, like 3,4,5 etc. When a minibus pulls in the lowest numbers go first. there are 11 seats. Everyone gets a full seat, not like Cambodia. But if you are very big you can buy two seats for 100B. In Danok the minibuses queue in front of the 7/11 shop, opposite the large Oscar Hotel, just 100 meters from the border.

*** From Malaysia ***

From Malaysia most likely you will come from Penang via Alor Star. Several minibuses to Had Yai leave from the Komtar building in Penang or from the Butterworth ferry. If you wish they can drop you off at the border in Danok. You will still pay full price though RM26-30. You better book these buses the day before. Or if you wish, you can do it on your own. It costs a little bit less and also a lot more interesting. From Penang catch a regular aircon bus to Alor Star for RM7.50 (95km/70 mins). Then at the Alor Star bus station wait for the ordinary bus to Changlun RM 3.20 (35km/1hr). From Changlun bus station there are many taxis to take you to the border 10 km away for RM10. You save about RM 6 this way but it takes longer. The taxi drops you off at the Malay passport control. Get stamped out and then walk a straight road to the Thai side, about one km. You arrived in Danok.

*** Sex Business ***

4./ Let's admit it, Danok has been built on one business alone. Sex. If that's your purpose there is plenty of it. It is not a large town, you can walk through it in 15 minutes but it is packed with hotels, karaokes, massaga perlours and discos. Presently the clientele is nearly exclusively Malay and Thai but farang are most welcome everywhere. Avoid though the weekend rush of Friday and Saturday nights when accomodation can be squeezy and all girls booked out. Monday to Thursday it is breezy and pleasant. There is a dump of hotels. ST rooms go for 100 baht and overnight 200 baht for a guest-house or 3-400 baht in a very comfortable hotel room. One coffee costs 10 baht and a meal 30-60 baht in most restaurants.

root: 600-1000B/pop

Total: 1500-2500 B/day = $45-70/day in US currency

There are several money changers with good rates near the 7/11 store where the minibuses stop.

*** The Scene ***

When this one ugly farang, the writer of this crappy report, arrived the time was still early, about 12noon. But it took about 5 minutes to find a reasonable root. In fact they found me. "Hello, hello farang" - they were waving from everywhere. I thought just to look around first but very soon an old Chinese papa flagged me down and wouldn't let go.

"You must see my girls". - he said. "You must!"

He had about 6 of them, at that early time. Some fat but others doable. I liked one in particular and asked the price. "Just 600 baht for you" -he said in good English. "Malaysians pay 700baht'. I don't know how true that was but seemed a good deal to me because the girl was pretty. We went to a nearby hotel where I expected to pay for the room but surprisingly the girl paid the receptionist 100 B. Wow! Even better deal.

I won't go into the sex details. You can imagine, you have done it before. She was good enough and good value for the price. Polite and nice mannered besides being pretty and young, about 22 years. I left with a smile. We went back together to their bar just to chat with papa. He was a very nice and funny man and offered other girls either 600B/ST or 1500B overnight. But what could I do with a woman overnight? It's total boredom and waste of time.

So I decided to wander around town, eat, drink and chat with the locals. Both Malaysian money and Thai baht are accepted everywhere. You get 10 baht for every Ringit, easy to exchange rates. Also, many people speak both Malay and Thai so by mixing the two you can easily get understood. Apart from the Chinese papa not many others spoke much English. But some, still some so you will get by even in English. (And most Malaysians speak some English). It can easily become a very popular destination for farang.

*** Evening action ***

As the evening came I looked around the bars. Some loud thumping music, others quiet and peaceful. Negotiated a few ST (short-times) here and there, never more than 1000B/pop. Mostly less. You catch motorbike taxis to further bars, one hop 20B.

The whole town is centered around the main street "Thanon Thai-Changlun" and it's sois (sidestreets). Oscar hotel is a good landmark betwwen sois 6 and 8. . I have included a basic map here but you really don't need one. In soi 9 there is a bar called Scorpio with naked dancing and loud music. It's very dark and loud inside but the girls are totally naked. Some come to you but chatting is totally impossible because of the music. Still some people try! Other bars have the same setup also.The quiet beer-bars are nice. The girls just sit outside and you pick your choice. It's all just Malay and Thai costomers at present. I met two miserable farangs all day.

*** Ugly girl - funny fuck ***

Next day was spent similarly. Changed hotels though because the other one was just above a karaoke bar. Down at the end of sois is more quiet. Went back to Chinese papa's bar for a chat just after noon again. I vaguely remembered a girl I liked there with long hair. I tried to describe it and they said "yes, yes we know. Just wait a bit. she will arrive soon." So, I even paid papa the 600 baht and waited. She arrived allright. The hair was the same too. But I must have been pretty drunk the day before because this time she looked absolutely awful with a badly deformed face and crocodile teeth which I didn't notice before. What could I do? I had already paid! She must have been surely one of the ugliest women I ever intended to root.

We went to the room. Her breath was a killer too. I asked her: "Could I pull the rubbish bin over your head while we fuck?" She did not seem to understand why on earth I wanted to pull the rubbish bin over her head and protested. Then I searched for another idea. Pulled one pillow out from the case and proceeded to fit it over her ugly head. She would't let it. Then I just pulled the pillow case over my own head and proceeded with the fuck. I could still see a little through the fabric and she wasn't that ugly that way. Otherwise her body was okay and slim. Just that deformed face and bad breath were terrible. I found a small tear in the fabric so could even lick the nipples with my mouth. Believe it or not, from there on the fuck was quite good. Even hot and passionate. I must have been looked silly though with that mask on.

It was an interesting experience but wouldn't want to repeat it. We left the room separately, I did not even want to walk with her. Still, the town is good, you just have to watch out for deformed faces and crocodile teeth before committing the money.

There seems also some unique arrangement in place for really top girls in Danok. If you want company you talk with the doorman. He calls some girl on the handphone. She arrives on a motorbike and you negotiate the deal with her. She can disco with you or sleep, fuck etc.

5./ Other details;
Time is one hour less in Thailand than in Malaysia.

Security: really no big deal, no hassles at all. Most streets are well lit. Avoid the few dark ones. There are no room safes in most hotels, except at the top class for 700B or so.

Had Yai:

If you had enough of this small town just wait in front of the 7/11 shop to catch the minibus. It leaves when full. Fills quicker in mornings. From Had Yai bus station you must charter a tuk-tuk to town for 30-40B (although they may ask more first). It helps a lot if you appear confident and speak some Thai.

*** Had Yai ***
I want to include one very special story about Had Yai here. It happened at the Limp Lady complex. You must love that place. It's clean, friendly, organized and the selection is top class. There is the soapie for 1450/1650 B/pop and the karaoke special section for 2300B. I went in there just for a drink. Only costed 40 baht. All four Karaoke girls were very pretty but one of them looked like a real filmstar. Just fucking amazing, tall, strong and totally perfect. I did not have 2300b for her and - to be honest - her perfectness scared me somewhat. I am just a mere mortal and not a good looking one, neither rich.

So picked another from the fishbowl outside. A "mere mortal" too but very pretty one at that. Big breasts, pretty and innocent face, tall, slender figure. Here you pay after the deed (unusual for Thai soapies). In the lift I had to ask her, just to be sure: "You are not a boy, aren't you?" She laughed and assured me that she was woman. Also admitting that this was a question she often received.

I like big, spacious rooms and this was one of those. While the maid brought in the supplies we chatted a bit on the bed. She spoke passable English too. Gentle mutual and playful undressing followed as if she was my lover or something. The splashing around in the bubbles was great as was the titty-bodyrub. We kissed a lot in and out of the bath. She sucked BB which is also unusual in soapies. And I checked, the pusssy was real! The fuck followed with totally authentic screaming. Very-very good, professional service throughout that place. Highly recommended. I tipped her just 100 baht. I am not rich, that's all I give the most. But I was very impressed and gave big thanks to the manager papasan too. Give them a visit because the place rocks.

Apart from that, I like the soapies on Thanon Ratanakon for 600B/pop. For that price the value is good. Not far from there, opposite the Merlin Hotel is another soapie with many pretty girls for 1200B. Also good choice. The town itself is not so interesting but is friendly and the nite action is top class. Last day I discovered another bar/karaoke area in the sois of Tung Sao road, near the bus station. There are always new surprises in Had Yai. But very few farang yet.

Most decent massage shop do not include HJ within their premise but can try their Juagan (ball massage). Most do not offer viewing for selection anymore and most of the time, you will probably get middle age ML. Joints like Sakura GV, Oliver, BP, etc.. If you wanna something special, try to book their hours out to accompany you but this do not guarantee success on bed, though pretty good chance.

You can most likely do it with those call-to-room service and most of them usually younger too like from Grand Plaza, Old Sakura, etc... If you think they are fresher, you could be deadly wrong and they are neither giving a good massage.

If you are looking for good service, head down to soapy massage like from CP4 or Pink Lady. If you wanted to relax with good massge, good for a proper massge. You get the right person for the right job.

I think it should be the first time you have landed in Danuk. Well, such OKT's abound and ready to fleece any new guys there. They make money or comissions from the hotel too. What sha-la-la hotel? is a run down hotel where not many want to stay. The good hotels are Oliver [my preference] and HeJia [a bit far away] and Oscar [nearest, but I dont fancy it]

if you stay at Oliver Hotel, the farms are just along the lane next to the hotel, that is so to say, just exit the hotel you will be abe to book girls, more covenient than 7-11.

Many girls are migrating to Danuk from their base in HDY, so the population has increased considerably. Bookings for LT usually range from RM150 to RM 200. To get one at RM180 is quite OK. Beer is cheap there, so no need to buy such a package offered by the OKT's who never deliver what had been promised.

Well, I agree with part of your statement.

Most of the hotel in Danok is either smelly or noisy.

Oscar: RM75 a night --> clean & big room, but very noisy due to the DISCO in Sathy

Oliver: RM69 a night --> clean & big room, but also nosiy due to Paragon

The rest like Queen, Sathy, Shalala & etc --> is either smelly, noisy, dirty, small ...

KPK is good. Try it next time. You will not regret.

KPK(rm79), Oliver(rm69) and Her Jia(rm69) should be the top 3 hotels in Danuk. Their class as Sakura(new) hotel in Hatyai. In addtion, their price is cheaper than Sakura and with 2 breakfast.
For puying, as you booked after 6pm it should be the most RM250 (young and pretty) You definitely can get less than RM150 if you book as late as possible or the look is not your selection criteria.
The OKT only make rm10-rm20 for a puying being booked. How can he affords to give you free tiger show and free flow of beer? Don't trust OKT.

Most people here discuss prices in US or CDN dollars, euros, british pounds & more importantly Thai bhats I think it would be more helpful if prices are discussed in those currencies...If you need help go to www.oanda.com or www.xe.com and help yourself. Check out on the currency list compiled by ISO under ISO 4217 standards. BTW, Ringgit Malaysia [RM] is a common abbreviation but not in accordance with the ISO standards 4217. Under the ISO 4217 standards, RM is MYR [where MY is the country code and R is the code for ringgit] likewise THB [not TBH as given by some, where TH is the country code for Thailand and B is for baht]

MYR and THB are the preferred currencies along the Malaysian / Thai border areas and by no means they are "minor".

Try using JPY, GBP and USD in those areas. You will get a different response.

Yes agree, the beer is dam cheap in danuk, and the food is nice too hehe,i think i have a good idea on the 2-3 hotel you guys recommended.

The girls are plentyful in danuk compare to hyt, so if anyone want to have a great time for girls i think danuk is a good selections. If for malaysian, the best part is it have a coverage of Malaysia telco haha.

I do not have the okt or the girl contact, but overall i see girls in the street and shops are young and pretty.Yeah, lucky for me was that the first time reaching Danuk, I met a Penang guy who is very familiar with Danuk and he is not a pimp [OKT], so I had some good deals then. I did not learn the expensive way.

One more thing that I would prefer Danuk to HDY, that is Danuk is very near to the Malaysian-Thai border, and should any mishap happening in Danuk, oen just can run back to Malaysia. Whereas, HDY is 60 km away. Furthermore, the road from Sadao to HDY passes through some rubber plantations whihc are strategic places for ambushes. You can't take chances in this restive south.

Those regular of KPK usually don't venture further than one of the biggest KTV around, "China City" (Zhong Kok Sheng) KTV that has the most PRC selection but the price is comparable to M'sia local KTV.

The Dancer quality and choices are pretty limited, I reckon probably fewer than a handfull looks pretty and sex enough. The place is smaller, stuffy, messy, too loud and smelly. I don't think it is even near in comparison with Bar Berry but yes it is cheaper for lady drinks and lesser competition in flower hanging. If you are looking for quality dancer to spend money on, I don't see it's worth here.

Yeah, lucky for me was that the first time reaching Danuk, I met a Penang guy who is very familiar with Danuk and he is not a pimp [OKT], so I had some good deals then. I did not learn the expensive way.

One more thing that I would prefer Danuk to HDY, that is Danuk is very near to the Malaysian-Thai border, and should any mishap happening in Danuk, oen just can run back to Malaysia. Whereas, HDY is 60 km away. Furthermore, the road from Sadao to HDY passes through some rubber plantations whihc are strategic places for ambushes. You can't take chances in this restive south.

Danok could be nearer and easier to return to M'sia but watch your back when you are cheonging there. It is basically a "no government" town with gun fights are unheard off. Also the pills and yaba are too common there which resulted more mess, especially in disco joints.

If you have a tirak ready waiting for you, it could be a meaningful and romantic night. Otherwise, it's not fun to cramp with the crowd for Loy Krathong. Hotels tends to increase price, farms are busy and everywhere is crowded.

I totally agree with Bro Devil, it is not advisable to go there during festival for regular chengsters.
- You need to queue out at least 1/2 hour before your passport get stamp.
- Every happening places is crowded. For example, if you go paragon at 11pm on 24th then you definitely cannot get a table.
- Hotel, puying and food prices sure gone up. In addtion, you most likely can't get a pretty puying.

For regulars like me, even I had tirak over there I rather go there on 30th.

Anyway! for those never experience the celebration of Loy Krathong then you should go there once. At evening, many people will go down to their local klong (canal) or river to float their krathongs. They believe this will bring them good luck. Overall it is really a memorable evening.

The main event for Hatyai Loi Krathong Festival is on Date 2007-11-24 at Hatyai City Municipality Park with activities like Miss Nopamas beauty Contest, Krathong contest, stage entertainment, cultural performances , trade fair, etc. The other one is mainly orgainized for tourist.

Just want to share with you guys on our activities during Loi Krathong at Danok, on 24.11.07.

Well, we planned to depart from Malaysia at 10:00am, but everything was delayed & we only managed to meet up at Sungai Dua tol & departed at 3:30pm.

We reached Malaysia custom at 5:00pm, & it took us upto 45 minutes, from that point till entering Siam territory.
We were staying at D-First Hotel, and the charge was RM80. (normal rate during other time is RM55).

Immediately we went to Oscar & Sathy, since our favorite is get a message lady for accompany instead of going to the KFC. Unfortunately, a lot of the message ladies were not working, or they had gone back to their kampung or already being booked. So we called up a OKT, & requested him to bring a few girls to our hotel for selection.

I picked a girl, price was RM250.

Went for steamboat dinner then. It is nice to see the fireworks & "KongMingTeng" flying in the sky while having companion by a lady serving you good food. Went to New Shalala after dinner. My personal opinion is that BarBerry is still one class higher if compared to New Shalala. Continue our drinking session in Paragon after midnight.

Damage for girl: RM270 (RM250 + RM20 for tips)
Girl's description: 20 years old, 150cm tall
Face: 8/10, body: 6/10
Service: she has a service oriented mind, & willing to fulfill your move on bed (DFK, DATY, 69, good BBBJ, watery & come while having sex)

Conclusion: we managed to get a room because we book earlier. The minus point is that the price had increased. But D-First is a very nice hotel. It is clean & the room, blanket, bed sheet are without any cigarette smell. This hotel is quiet at night, unlike those hotels which are near to Paragon, Shalala & Sathy night club. Some of the room is big, but some of them is a little bit small. Just need to ask for a big room while check in. The rate is very satisfactory, at RM55 with bathtub, & RM45 without bathtub during normal days. The air conditioning is not centralized, & you can even leave it open while away from the room.

There is more people during Loi Krathong, but I guess now Danok has also sufficient new pubs & clubs to absorb the sudden increase of crowd. We do not feel particularly crowded at the hot spots. The minus point is that we have to wait longer time at the custom.

For puying, I consider myself very lucky this time. I never expect the OKT is manage to bring me such an excellent young WL in the evening time. I should say, she is one of the girl that scored the highest if compare to all my previous WL. During such festival, RM270 is reasonable in my opinion. I did 3 times, meaning RM90 per shot, not bad right ?

Other than accommodation & puying, I guess the other activities are remained at the same price. Food, massage, drink & etc.

I was telling myself that I have to reduce the frequency of visiting Danok, since nowadays I have some complaints on almost all the hotels. On top of this, the price for puying had remained high, given the share market had dropped tremendously recently. But the discovery of D-First had given me an alternative. Cheap, convenient, quiet & clean. This give me an excuse to continue to cheong at Danok.

My meeting end about 7 pm and I was free to do my own stuff. Walked around the town area and found it pretty boring….(sorry if others beg to differ, just my humble opinion) or maybe I dunno where to search for fun. Noticed a “Pink Lady” complex near to Lee Garden hotel and went in to take a look. Girls were sitting behind glass windows and had number tags. There are only a few selections, and I noticed there are many people(man, women children) walking around that area too. How funny it felt to be mongering with women and children looking beside you. Anyway, left the place in search for massage, and special of course. Did not ask about the price too. Anyone knows anything?

Walked around and found most shops offering foot massage, stumbled upon cherry traditional massage. Walked in and saw many grandma masseuses sleeping and resting on the floor, saw the price at 600 baht and walked out immediately, the price not being the reason of course. As I walked back, I stopped by a foot massage shop with a pretty gal sitting outside. I asked her about thai massage. She say it abit too late but she can arrange it to be done in my room at a cost of 300 baht for 2 hours!! My gosh, I LOVE HATYAI! Got her namecard and told her will call her later to confirm.

As I walked to my hotel, I was thinking of confirming the price, so I went over to the massage shop opposite my hotel and enquire. The price is indeed that. Took her namecard as well and quickly went back to pack and arrange my stuff before calling.

Once done, I called to arrange one to come to my room specifically asking for young ones. The lady boss told me she will try. so I put on the bathrobe and waited for her to come.

After about 20 mins, there was a knock and I answer it. It turn out to be a not so young woman, 37 yo to be exact. But she is not that bad looking though.Thinking it was late already and I wanted to finish in time to go and watch soccer and one of the pubs, I obliged. Remove my robe and lay down in my birthday suit while she put a towel over me, actually over junior to be precise.

The massage was so so only and she took special care not to reveal junior too much. She would adjust the towel so that junior is carefully concealed. We chatted in hokkien as she could not converse well in English. Told her about life story which I will spare readers here.

I wil like to know if it is possible to go thru customs without getting a green stamp on your passport? Many years back, there is a few drivers on bikes that will take you across for RM10 to and fro without getting your book stamped. This will make your cheong activities across the border more discreet IMHO. I wonder if this service is still available. I have a friend who is not eligible for border pass and will like some advise from seniors out there.

You may try the first cofee shop from Petronas station. They will send you in and out and the charges is RM60-RM100 per person,
As you know this is illegal entry so better keep low profile when in Thailand.

No point to take the risk, especially with the current border tighthen security check. I have a friend who used to cross between the borders like his father land until he get caught at Msia side and end up in court but luckily got fine for RM2,000 only.

There are ways to get legal border pass, pm me if you like to know more.

Hi Dude,

Get to Danok and head to a hotel (Oscar/Mansion/Phuping etc). Try not to let the motor guys or the guys everywhere bring pu-ying to your room. Try to go out and shop for them. There are puying shops/karaoke everywhere. This town is an ok place as long as we are polite and smile.

They know what we want and soon the papas will be calling you to go inside their karaoke's. There you will find many puying to choose. Make sure you confirm the price and get the papas card in case the girl runs away in the night.

That should be it dude, the food is cheap nearly everywhere. Drinks, you can get it from Duty Free before coming in to Danok. Discos, Sha-la-la and Model are happening. Always pay immediately upon receipt of drinks or food and keep the bill to avoid any disputes.
