Visited phunphon soi 11 in Phuket City.
It is a place mostly for thai locals.
I would not recommend inexperienced tourists go there. But if you've been around the block in Thailand and are looking for a new adventure and want to do it like the locals do, it's an interesting experience.
It's basically a small soi with about 5 girly bar places on both sides. There are big glass windows and couches. When I drove through they were all empty. A few mamasan / papasan types sitting out front. A couple of them said something to me. Saw about 2 or 3 girls sitting outside too. Did not see any customers.
Drove back and stopped in front of a place. Sitting out front was one old short guy who was kind of like yoda but without any jedi skills. No English. Motioned me to follow him and walked into one of the houses which had a long hallway with doors on the right side. Very basic. I was pretty scared at this point. Could have been attacked or robbed very easily. But luckily I was in Thailand and not Latin America, so no problems.
The guy knocked on one of the doors and started talking to a girl inside. Since I wasn't given any kind of choice, I was worried she'd be a seacow and I'd have to awkwardly try to get the guy to show me someone else. But she was petite and young and quite cute. Was worried she was too young at first, but said she was 21 and it seemed accurate once I got a good look at her. I went into the room and the guy said 600. Gave him a thousand and was worried again about getting change, but he went away for a minute and came back with it. Of the 600, he gave the girl half in front of me. I wasn't asked for any more and didn't see the man again.
The girl only spoke about 5 words of English and kept trying to talk to me in Thai. The room was really basic, just a bed and a fan. Very run down building. The top of the wall didn't go to the ceiling, so there was some screen and you could hear outside. She milled about for a few minutes and asked about condoms but I had brought my own. Made like she was going to smoke me but then it kind of didn't happen. I didn't press the issue because I'm most concerned with having a good time, which happens easier if the girl is comfortable.
Did not kiss. Warmed up a little after a few minutes. Started the sex with her sitting on top of me, but after a minute she motioned that she needed to lay down. I think you're only allowed to do missionary with them. It was more thai-style sex in that it was simple high school sex rather than western porn style. She definitely wasn't going to hop up on all fours and ask for it hard in doggystyle. But it was good for high school sex.
Afterwards she was talking to me in thai and I made out the word "tip". From reading the forum I had read you should give 200 baht to the girl. I gave her 400, thinking I would return and hopefully be treated like a good customer. She seemed quite happy with 400. With a total of 1000, it was still one of the cheapest I've had in Thailand.
Again, if you haven't been in Thailand too long I wouldn't advise it. But if you already know what you're doing and want to try something not aimed at tourists, check it out.

It seems that she provided only the minimum service, so, in that case, even a 200 baht tip would have been already too much in this kind of place.
About tipping in the local brothels, I had a discussion some time ago in private messages with another ISG member and I suppose that some parts of those exchanges might be useful for other ISG members as well.

It does not happen often, but sometimes, an unexperienced local provider would just lay down and not even spread her legs enough (doing "her best" to avoid a deep penetration!). Of course, those girls won't allow anything else than a covered classic missionary intercourse and no "extras" are on the menu. I never tip in this case (and usually don't repeat the experience with this provider later, even if the girl is a stunner).
I don't tip either if the girl is trying to hurry things or always complains that it hurts even if it's not justified (I am very patient, not brutal, and I do my best not to hurt them, using a lot of lube if needed, etc.).
If the girl is not a great performer, but is at least a little bit enthusiastic (or allows me to take a couple of picture of her, for instance) , I will usually give her a 100 baht tip anyway, explaining that if she can do more things the next time, I will be more generous, and sometimes, it works and the girl performs better on the following encounters, but if it is not, it's definitely a lost cause for me.

Great report. This type of info is invaluable. It is funny that you would give her more as a tip than she was paid for shagging with you. Being the Cheap Charlie that I am I am not a tipping kind of guy, but those guidelines laid down by Goyave would seem plausible if I was. I will definitely be trying this place out my first time in Phuket in February.

In most local brothels in my area, they don't make more than 200 baht per customer (without tips). It's usually half the price paid by the locals, but sometimes even less.
The girls that you usually find in the local brothels are coming from very poor areas (even if your provider is from Chiang Mai province, it's very likely from a small village and she's probably not much educated). Moreover, they usually don't speak any English or just a few words. But sure, if they could work in the tourist-orientated scene, they would certainly earn much more. Provided that they can also perform better (us, foreigners, usually require more things than the locals).
Anyway, you should know that even only 200 baht is not a ridiculous amount of money for those girls, especially for a tip.
Where are you in Isaan?I could directly answer this question in a few words, but I won't do that for several reasons.
Firstly, I already stated where I live in at least one of my earlier posts (just use the advanced search function with the good keywords and you should find it). Moreover, it's not very difficult to guess where my favorite playgrounds are located by reading some reports of mine in the Isaan thread.
Secondly, but not least important, I would like that people do their "homework" (= reading and retrieving the relevant information in the Isaan thread) before going there. I don't say that you wouldn't do that, but some lazy punters might not, and would just rush to the local brothels in my area without knowing the ropes, and it's how the best places go downhill eventually. Misinformed customers are easy preys and often pay more than the regular prices. If there is an affluence of this kind of visitors, the inflated prices soon become the "standard" prices for foreigners, and I want to avoid that as much as possible. I don't visit anymore some of the most renowned places of my area because now, the price there for Farang customers is almost twice than what it used to be just two years ago, and that's absolutely not justified (comparing to similar, but lesser-known, places offering the same quality of providers in the same town).

A dark skin is not attractive for the locals (therefore, you would notice that many Thai young women avoid staying in the sun and often use skin whitening creams and other cosmetics in order to look "whiter"). It's a little bit like in the past in Europe when aristocrats were applying powder to their face to whiten it. During that period, the pale look was very desirable as it distinguished the wealthy from the common people who had a darker complexion. That's still what most Thai people think nowadays: you can not have a white skin if you are a poor peasant working several hours a day under the hard sun. Therefore, if your skin is fair, you are supposedly a more important person (richer, probably better educated, etc.) than people who have a darker complexion.
I must say that, as someone who lives daily in this country since year 2002, my own taste in local women is very different from what it was several years ago. I did not care much about the local girls' complexion then and even thought that dark-skinned women were more attractive and exotic. Don't be afraid if that's your preference, there is plenty of this kind (girls with a fair complexion are less numerous, especially on the P4P market) in the Land of Smiles. A dark skin is not attractive for the locals (therefore, you would notice that many Thai young women avoid staying in the sun and often use skin whitening creams and other cosmetics in order to look "whiter").For some reason in Thailand I prefer darker women whereas in the USA (where I am from) and Latin America I prefer fairer skinned ones. As Goyave has pointed out, Thai women do not like going into the sun. When you go to the beach you will see many of them with shorts and t-shirts instead of the traditional swimsuits that women from other countries wear. And it will be almost impossible to get them to leave from under the beach umbrella as my fair-skinned ex girlfriend would never do.
As for the girl's face looking so white, through my own experience when you are in person with them their faces do not have that appearance. I have found that it is the flash from the camera that makes the make-up appear to be ghostly white and clown-like as you have pointed out Salsadude. So although they may be attractive in person, a photo of them with that makeup on will make them look like shit.144478

You read it wrong. Actually, it says: "According to one study conducted by the government in Bangkok in 2007, HIV prevalence among freelance sex workers in Bangkok was 19 percent whereas HIV prevalence had declined to 4.3 percent in commercial sex establishments in that year."
19% was, according to this study, the HIV prevalence among freelance sex workers (including street walkers) in 2007 in Bangkok (not nationwide) and the HIV prevalence in commercial sex establishments (including brothels, massage parlors, etc.) was much lower.

On my personal scale, the first girl is not more but a solid 8/10 and I already said that she is not one of the most attractive girls than one may find even in the cheapest brothels of Thailand. I don't have any picture that I can post here of girls that I would rank higher, but yes, many women, even in the P4P market, are more attractive. Alas, IMHO, there are much more not very attractive girls (at least, according to me) on the tourist-oriented P4P scene, because it's a known fact amongst the local girls that most foreigners are not very fussy about the look of their providers. The local guys would not fuck a great majority of them even for free, but many foreign punters are ready to spend (locally) indecent sums of money for the "privilege", therefore, the less attractive ones abound in places patronized by foreigners.

It is possible, but I would not recommend it on your first stay in the Land of Smiles. If you want to meet real "non-pro" girls (there is a lot of freelancers and girls on dating websites who are actually "semi-pros" in disguise, or not very different from an occasional prostitute, IMHO), it's better to know first the local modus operandi for a courtship (for instance and among many other cultural things), and of course, it's much better to know at least some basic Thai. According to my own experience, most local "good" girls are traditionalists and, believe it or not, but many would not lost their virginity before marriage. Most of the real "non-pro" girls (again, according to my own experience) are looking for a serious and long-term relationship. If you are not ready for this, you should stuck with the P4P girls.

i posted a request for a comparison between phuket and samui a month or so ago.
i opted for samui and had a great time. i stayed in lamai during the peek season (christmas and ny). i stayed at various hotels (lamai perfect, coconut beach resort, lamai inn 99) paying between 1,000 and 1,200 baht for standard, clean rooms with wifi (except lamai perfect).
bar fines were 300 bt and never paid and never been asked for more than 1,000 bt for long-time. these are pattaya prices in a beautiful island.
yes, lamai is small and selection is not as wide as in pattaya, but there are always gems to be found. i kept an 18-year girl for a few days (see pictures). every time i come to samui i manage to find somebody similar.
i haven't seen phuket but prices for both accommodation and girls seem to be considerably higher. is it simply due to high demand from sucker farangs? is there anything that makes phuket truly better than samui and justifies this price differential?

While things are quickly changing in Koh Samui nowadays, Phuket still caters to a more high-end class of tourists. Koh Samui has been a backpackers' destination since late 70's. There are (on average) younger and less rich tourists in Koh Samui than in Phuket (many youths go to Koh Phangan, the neighboring island, for the full moon parties and some of them spend some time in Koh Samui too). I suppose that's why the prices are still lower (on average) in Koh Samui than in Phuket.

i opted for samui and had a great time. i stayed in lamai during the peek season (christmas and ny). i stayed at various hotels (lamai perfect, coconut beach resort, lamai inn 99) paying between 1, 000 and 1, 200 baht for standard, clean rooms with wifi (except lamai perfect).
bar fines were 300 bt and never paid and never been asked for more than 1, 000 bt for long-time. these are pattaya prices in a beautiful island.
yes, lamai is small and selection is not as wide as in pattaya, but there are always gems to be found. i kept an 18-year girl for a few days (see pictures). every time i come to samui i manage to find somebody similar.

144827good you took the advices hedonist and thanks for reporting back. i've tried both places and that's why i keep comming back to samui. but there is a difference though between chaweng and lamai. just hope that lamai remains the laid back place it is for years to come.

Visited phunphon soi 11 in Phuket City.
It is a place mostly for thai locals.
I would not recommend inexperienced tourists go there. But if you've been around the block in Thailand and are looking for a new adventure and want to do it like the locals do, it's an interesting experience.
It's basically a small soi with about 5 girly bar places on both sides. There are big glass windows and couches. When I drove through they were all empty. A few mamasan / papasan types sitting out front. A couple of them said something to me. Saw about 2 or 3 girls sitting outside too. Did not see any customers. Visited here again. Talked to the same papasan. This time he tried to charge me 700 baht, even though last time he charged 600 baht. I gave him 600 in exact change and he seemed OK with that.
Got another girl from Chiang Mai. She had been sleeping and was woken up. Seemed unhappy about that. Short hair, looked like a little lesbian. Touched her stomach and it was hard. I suspect she was a couple months pregnant.
Anyways the performance was pretty poor. She was not into it in the slightest, and basically just opened her legs and looked away and acted annoyed. Extremely unerotic.
Gave her 200 baht after but shouldn't have given her anything.
Saw another farang driving down the soi checking the area out.

This year I returned to the Baipho Hotel as it has great rooms, great location, fun staff, and a decent breakfast included. They also connected me with a good fishing trip on the Nikita. Right around the corner from the hotel is massage row on Second Road. I got my midday massage and release from several of these places as you need to shop the talent. Best legit massage was 5 Star on Second Road and I had a great soapy at Christin.
My first day in Phuket I golfed at the Country Club and as fate would have it, the owner of a beer bar on Soi Tiger called Crazy Horse wa in my foursome. I had a real good time golfing with this group and we spent quite a bit of time at his bar. Great atmosphere and hot women. I also spent some time a my old favorite hangout Black Rose on Soi Eric. Pia, the owner, always has new cute girls and fun regulars to keep you entertained, I noticed a better scene at the gogos in Soi Lion this year than before. Overall it was nice to stay on Patong. I payed 2000 for a LT with a lady that I finded working in a soi of bangla road. Barfine was 400 Baht. Streetwalkers in banglaroad, I payed 1000 ST, beware the ladyboys: simply ask if you are not sure, or ask anyway!
I tried many massage girl in the kep sab zone, prices ranged from 1000 Baht to 2300 Baht (massage included). I'm quite sure that in some cases (the 2300baht case) I payed to much. But 1-2 of them were real hotties and when a lady as my dick in her hands I have some difficulties to be rational. Sercvice ranged from straith fuck to BBBJCIM. Massage quality can vary too, price for only massage in 300 Baht. OAHThe bars are still there, but before 4 quite dead. The bars at Kata (2km further south on the beach road) also have rooms (some).
Massage places: always a gamble. Can be anything from legitimate no extra's to Happy ending to FS. Just try your luck. Better chances at the sois (small streets) away from the beaches. Why not rent a room in another cheap place? Take a few bar girls there.

It is a shame that I must reply to my own post. I guess things work differently on this thread than the China board where I usually post.

Turn left out of Club Med and there are several small bars, many with ST rooms onsite. I only found one room with A / C and the price was 300 for the room and 1, 000 for the girl. Reasonable for a quick fix but the quality of the talent overall cannot compare with Patong. If you fancy a girl from a bar without ST room, rooms are available offsite from 300RMB up with A / C.
Turn right out of Club Med and walk about 200 meters, turn left down small soi. There are several massage joints. The 3rd shop before the end on the right provides a HE. That said, most massage places in the area do not so ask first.

I have had my boots on the ground for 2 days. Tonight I was walking down Bangla Road and saw a couple of SWs. The first one wanted 1000 ST. I laughed and kept walking. I am on my way out tomorrow but I have managed to sneak away everyday. Unfortunately, during afternoons there are not many doable girls in the bars, but the massage joints are still an option. A few years ago, I observed 1 "ping pong" style go-go bar on Bangla road. It had about 20 touts on the street; that itself should have warned you. I went inside to get a beer. They laid the menu on the table. Luckily I looked at the menu; they would have charged you some ridiculous amount for the first beer; it was then more reasonable for the second beer. Of course I left.
Now there are a few more "ping pong" style go-go bars. Those touts on Bangla road are irritating.
Last night I decided to get a beer at Roxy go-go. The door guy had a menu. He showed me one side which had pictures of the girls. I tried to turn it around to look at the prices; he tried not to show it; I insisted to look at the prices. It was 800 baht for a beer!
I said "what! 800 for a beer"
He then said,"no, no, discount for you. 500 baht"
I thought to myself,"you're still a rip-off mother fucker"
Of course I left.
You might have no recourse with the tourist police. I was told by an ex-pat that by Thai law, the business establishment has to have its prices posted. I believe this is how these rip-off bars get away with this scam. They lay the menu on the table and hope you don't look at the prices.
Lesson of this story is always look at the menu prices if you go to these "ping pong" style go-go bars.
800 baht ($26) is actually normal prices in California for a strip joint ($20 cover charge plus $8 coke) , but it's a rip-off in Thailand.

Turn left out of Club Med and there are several small bars, many with ST rooms onsite. I only found one room with A / C and the price was 300 for the room and 1, 000 for the girl. Reasonable for a quick fix but the quality of the talent overall cannot compare with Patong. If you fancy a girl from a bar without ST room, rooms are available offsite from 300RMB up with A / C.
Turn right out of Club Med and walk about 200 meters, turn left down small soi. There are several massage joints. The 3rd shop before the end on the right provides a HE. That said, most massage places in the area do not so ask first.
OAHI am going on a family holiday and staying at the Hilton, last time I was there I could not find any massage joints with extras. I know Club Med is nearby. Any help is appreciated and will report back with any info

C11On the East side (coming from Phuket Town) , there are a few open air hostess bars on the road that runs parallel to the beach (just at the 90 degree bend). Never partied there; I assume the girls are working. Not sure what's on the west side.
Hint: For expensive live lobster instead of really expensive live lobster (1600 + baht per kilo in Rawai compared to 2500 baht per kilo in Patong), go to Rawai Beach. At the 90 deg bend, go straight toward the pier and turn left; then you have a row of seafood sellers selling seafood. Buy and pay restaurant to cook it for you.
Then you have the next beach over (can't remember the name) ; there should be some open air hostess bars. Every area that has more than a few barangs should have at least one bar with girls. It will be more low keyed for stuff outside of Patong.

In Rawai you have more than enough bars, although by far not as many as Patong. Next to Siam Commercial bank on the main road which ends at the beach there is Laguna, a bar-plaza. On that same road you have many bars. Just check it out after 7 pm. Then following the signs for road 4233 which brings you to Kata-Karon-Patong you find a few bars directly after turning sharp left to Kata.
Transportation: get yourself a motorbike. Everybody does, since taxi's and tuk tuk are a rip off everywhere on Phuket.
But be careful, loads of drunk riding accidents.

After some good mongering days in Bangkok I come to Phuket to do some scuba diving. And then I check out the scene here in Patong too. I was in this town three years ago, so I didn't expect much. And yes, it's still the same, Phuket and Patong is still at best a secondary mongering destination. A lot of general tourism here, and so much drunk tourists and low quality on the girls. At least this is my feeling after going up and down Bangla road. I arrived at midnight on Friday night, so the street were full of people, some of the bars too, but strangly enough for this time; some were almost empty.
Some streetwalkers of which a few looked good, but most not. The beer-bars seemed most to be geared to honky- tonk-partying. Some dancers around, but few interesting in my eyes. Then there is the go-go bars, I didn't check them out this night, but I will in the following days, and give you a report. When I was here in 2008 I went into Roxy and some others in the small alley off Bangla. I was not impressed then (low quality, attitude.). But I will try again this time. Or is it some better areas or places in Patong? Have I missed something. Maybe massage places are a better option in this town? Sorry about being negative here, I guess I just to spoiled after Bangkok.

In PH at Bangla or beach Road area you will find some freelancers but not much above a 6 rating and hard to get them on ST for 1500, in PAT on the Beach Road there like a thousand girls waiting for a pick up and easy to get them for LT at 1000Bt. In Pattaya Soi 6 bars, you take the girl up to the room for ST. 300Bt for the room and 700Bt for the girl + a drink.

After ten days or so in Pattaya, it was time to come back to Phuket / Patong in search of a more relaxing experience.
I check in in the same guesthouse mentioned in my previous posts, and the price has not changed at 700 Bt. The lady owner has improved her English somewhat and now got a Western "boyfriend". Yes it is true that almost everything is more expensive than in Pattaya but with a bit of common sense you can still live on a budget if you want. In my case I don't really need to, but either I'm not going to overspend or waste money.

After 5 days of my first Phuket trip I would like to share my experience with you guys.
Phuket is different to Pattaya and Bangkok. The choice of girls is not the same also I think Phuket is more expensive. Also Phuket does not seem to have a street business (except the ladyboys) , so you have to try your luck in one of the beer bars in and around Bangla Road or you go to one of the gogo bars. At both places you have to pay a bar fine, which was offered to me from 300-1000 Baht. The girls are asking for 1000-1500 for short time and 2000-2500 for long time.

I do not personally engage girls on Bangla Road (and I don't see anything wrong about doing so) , but have a friend that does that frequently, so I'm writing this supported by his intelligence work.
First of all about the LBs, every night I only see one or two beings of the which nature I'm not sure about and could potentially be fooled. If interested, take up a small chat and state your requests. If you really want to kill time, invite for a coffee or ice cream "to talk seated". I have never had a problem myself in Phuket.
Swore I'd never go to the place. Certainly not my kind of place. But friends persuaded, and so I will report what I found.
It is a very expensive place. Guesthouses are reasonable at 500-600 / night, bikes not too bad at about 200 / day, but everything else, such as food, drinks, and girls, is excessive. I couldn't find many freelancers. Just a few near the McDonalds on Bang-La, who were all asking 1 000, which seemed unreasonable given they were older and not very attractive. There were also a few girls on the beach road, though no more than 2-3, along with many more of the other type. I was even followed on motorbike by one or two of those. The whole scene seemed very low-value and unpleasant.
I ended up splurging by taking girls from massage joints. Every massage place I went seemed to place a high stress on offering not only happy ending, but full service either in the room or at hotel. If one desired a 'real massage' one would probably be out of luck. There are even several massage joints open all night on a couple of small sois on the right after passing Bangla on Second Road.
I had one or two happy endings during the trip from decent looking 30 year olds for the expected 500 baht tip. An economy option but HJ isn't my thing. I also boom-boomed one attractive late 20s one in the massage room for 1500 au natural, and twice took a quite cute early-twenties type back to the hotel for full service, but had to pay 2000 for the 'real thing'. Very good service. One thing I noted, both in full service and even during my 'happy endings' the girls kissed a lot. This 'girlfriend experience' not really something I expect from a hooker but I have to admit they were convincing. In retrospect I'm not really sure what I was paying 2000 for as the girl seemed quite ready to stay the night, so maybe its 2, 000 for all night and the 'au natural' was just thrown in. But I hate sleeping with anyone, especially someone hired to be there, so for me it ended up being just short-time.
Finally I also ventured to Phuket town by taxi one night. Alas not to explore the 700 baht houses I have since heard do exist there, but to try out a 'high-end soapy' I'd read about on the internet. There are apparently a few in that town, but the one that sounded best from the internet was 'Catherine Massage'. Wow, what a disappointment, and a lesson in how deceptive is the internet. The place was very 'cute' and highly decorated, and seemed very Chinese / Japanese / Korean oriented, with cutey-cute but not very sexy girls (though the girls were cute, they didn't live up to the highly doctored pics on the place's web site). The price was 3000, which seemed to be standard for these places (I'd checked in the day before at Patong's Christin Massage, where 3000 was quoted and the girls looked a bit old and not very pretty for that price). So I went for it at Catherine. The girl was whining the whole time about various complaints which had nothing to do with me, quite annoying. She seemed eager for extra money and offered the special service that no doubt many customers request for 2000. Creampie was assumed for this extra tip as well.
Afterward my driver showed me a small more traditional looking soapy just on the way out of the plaza from Catherine's. I can't remember the name but it may have been 'Shogun' or something like that. Just no more than a dozen shop-houses down from Catherine. There the price was the same shocking 3000, but the girls looked much 'sexier' rather than cutey, and he recommended it. I've no doubt for a kickback, but Thais usually have the good sense to understand the difference between 'asian style' and 'farang style' in terms of taste or 'spec'. I never made it back to try it, but it did look a bit better, with several doable early 20s girls.

There are tons of FL's in the discos/bars. Did you go to Tiger and the surrounding bars? Guess not. There are also lots of FL's on Bangla, but farther up the road than Mcdonalds. 1K is the going price.
Also, get a few blocks off Bangla and food is much cheaper.

So they make the policy stricter, e.g, even when booked for two, the people cannot change. Or that joiner cannot change more than once per day, nobody under 20 allowed, etc.

My last trip to Phuket in March, I was impressed with the MPs on Rat-U-Thit Road. Once you get 100-200m from Bangla, prices are reasonable for 1-2hr massage (200 B) , with HJ or BJ at the finish (300B-1000B depending on the girl). Don't make any reservation or if you do, don't deposit a penny. Get in town, throw all your stuff in a decent guesthouse, rent a motorbike. I would recommend mine that would give you both services for cheap.
With patience spend one or two hours exploring the hotels / resort near Bangla Road. Until you find your ideal place, your ass is covered anyway.
Then about doing the thing, yes Feb. Is high season but don't be worried too much about that. Rule #1 in Thailand there's is always more pussy than cock. So unlike other places.
Show up at Hollywood at the time you please. Early bird or late comer any time is good depending on how you feel. Personally I never show up before 3 am but that's only because I've a reputation to defend. If you got game you can have hot girls for 1,000 multiple pops. There are so many girls that don't even like to mention money. And there are many that are stuck up biatches. Please reward the latter with a laugh and move on. Good luck (You won't need much).

1. Tell the girl you already paid 2500 Baht and that includes everything. Tell her. You should make me cum with a BJ or HJ during soapy / or tub part and then we move to the bed for a light massage and sex. That should straighten them out. If not, tell her you will talk to the manager about the issue after the session. Be nice and relaxed when you do this. Try not to come across as being angry or upset.
2. Ask the manager what you get for 2500 Baht when you visit. Get it straight from him / her upon entering. Then there is no question on what you can expect.
I've only gotten one soapie (just for the experience). It was only 1800 baht. That included the hot tub bath together, her sliding up and down me on the soapie mattress, then a blow job and sex on the bed.
For 2500 baht you should be getting the ROYAL treatment. Remember, the girl gets about half of the fee anyway. Therefore, if you do decide to tip (afterwards) , it should only be about 500 baht in my opinion. For the girl. Half of the fee is 1250 + 500 = 1750 baht.

I then went for a wander through Soi Sea dragon and settled on one of the beer bars because of the pleading of one particular lady. After A while barfined her and negotiated long time for 1500bt. Back at hotel she was not as good naked as I expected but did a good job for BBJ and then sex in differnt positions. In the morning a repeat and off she went. Once she knew I was there 4 days she tried to claim me for the lot. Not for me.

Bangla Road. Is where you want to go. There are Gogo's, FL's, and SW's and LB's. It is not that long of a street. You can walk it in about 15 minutes. There are short time hotels around if you don't want them in your room.
Also, the massage parlors are very good, and there are a lot of them on the main and side streets off Bangla. You can take girls from them ST or LT, if you like them.
Also, the beaches on Phuket are good. Much better than Pattaya. The food around Bangla is good and the people are friendly.
Pattaya is basically one big working girl house. It is more crowded than Phuket and there is basically no beach because of errosion.
If you want to walk around a working girl house all day, go to Pattaya. There are many more girls there, but Phuket has enough. Phuket has more quality water related options than Pattaya.

Pattaya is all about P4P. Nothing else to do there really. But you can spend a week there and still not see half of what's on offer in terms of the sex industry.
Phuket is better for legit tourism with beaches and boat trips, and some decent / good P4P options on the side.

I was planning to go to Phuket next month in September for two weeks. I was thinking I should avoid high season which starts in November (too many punters, not enough attractive ladies). Then I checked the precipitation graph in the Lonely Planet guide. According to the graph, it rains significantly more in September and October than at any other time of the year. The idea of being holed up all day in the hotel doesn't thrill me. But how much does it really rain in September. Is it one big shower in the late afternoon like here in the southern USA where I live? Or is it day after day of pooring rain?
So maybe I'll hold off and go the first two weeks of November. All of my "trips" to Brazil were during low season, but maybe I'm selling myself short by not experiencing a high season somewhere.

I was planning to go to Phuket next month in September for two weeks. I was thinking I should avoid high season which starts in November (too many punters, not enough attractive ladies). Then I checked the precipitation graph in the Lonely Planet guide. According to the graph, it rains significantly more in September and October than at any other time of the year. The idea of being holed up all day in the hotel doesn't thrill me. But how much does it really rain in September. Is it one big shower in the late afternoon like here in the southern USA where I live? Or is it day after day of pooring rain?
So maybe I'll hold off and go the first two weeks of November. All of my "trips" to Brazil were during low season, but maybe I'm selling myself short by not experiencing a high season somewhere.
Any comments and opinions on this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!In Sept. And Oct, it can rain very hard for long periods. Much more so than any other time of year. One of the other issues are the monsoon winds.
If you go in early Nov. I think you will be better off. But, noone can predict the weather.
Why do you think there are not enough attractive ladies in Nov? I have been there during all seasons and never seen a shortage.

CheersFrom my experience, those 4 and 5 stars ar NOT GF anyway.
Here are a few that are:
Karon Cocktail Inn.
Kata Villa (south end of Karon)
Hotel Little Mermaid.
Phuket Island View.
Armani Sky Beach.
Green Island Guest House.
Kangaroo Guesthouse.
Just for info, a few of these places are not that great. Check reviews, etc. Before booking. Also, because policies can change, make sure you email them prior to confirm GF.
Sorry, but I couldn't find the answer to this in the forum. I just wanted to confirm that a Joiners fee is a nightly fee, not a one time fee. In other words, in a non-girl-friendly hotel you may be able to bring a girl to your room if you pay a joiner fee (in addition to your regular nightly rate) each night that you bring the girl back to the room?

One think got me thinking though was this business with freebies! TGs (who work in P4P business or freelancers who do occasional P4P) in LOS live on what they get form mongers (their work places pay them shit) , but they are sometime just too shy to ask in the morning, or maybe counting on getting it later on the next night (s) /day (s) , playing the long game. But please do give them some money, to me it is no conquest doing a TG who works in P4P for nothing. If they don't ask, don't be surprised, just put some money in their purse discretely, or give it as (large) taxi fare or somethingI agree, do not be mean, give them a reasonable amount. For sure same girl will have nothing to do with you next time.

Thanks for the help!I have flown from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in the north and back via Chiang Rai. Air Asia is probably the best do this and cheapest also. They usually have quite a few flights each day too so getting there isn't hard. There are heaps of flights Bangkok. Phuket also. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help!I would really recommend Bangkok Airways, not only for their service at airports (they offer Lounge access to all their passengers) but also because there are no hidden charges (like baggage,"convenience fee?", on board meal, etc.) to their fare.
Many times, when you add a 20kg baggage and the convenience fee (not even a meal) to an Air Asia basic price, they end up being more expensive than Bangkok Airways.
By booking a little in advance, you could get a one way tickets Bangkok-Phuket for about $75.

I didn't have any trouble at all changing hotels in Bangkok or Pattaya during my last trip, but that was in August (low season).

I always do that, more fun and you get some of BKK delights as well. Nok Air and Oriental Thai Air fly form domestic Don Muang Airport, both are pretty cheap and you can book online. A bit cheaper if you book a month or so in advance, but normally can get a seat even with short notice at reasonable price (each has 3 flight a day).
From International Airport (Suampi.) there are Air Asia, Bangkok Air, Thai Air. They have many flights every day and I can't see it all full up (but who knows) , but prices could go up a bit with short notice.
Also for accommodation, I can't see you getting a special rate in high season (or low season these days) at the desk. I found it is always cheaper on internet with some special offer. I would only not book all my flights and hotels if the visit is long and you are not sure of the hotel / city you stay and you want to be flexible to change / move.
For 2 or 3 weeks it's not worth it, book all ahead and just enjoy and not worry about all the arrangement. I've done mine already.

I'm recently back from 7 days in Phuket. Stayed at Kata in the Chaba which I recommended in the hotel forum too. Kata has less action than Patong but is more relaxed, more grown up. And if you rent a bike for exploring the island you can always pop up to patong for an evening.
The stretch of girly bars along the kata beach road offers lots of talent which can usually be had for 1000. Of the four nights I brought girls back to my hotel. 2 wanted to stay only short time (1-2 hours) for that, but two nights the girl spent the whole night with me and went to lunch the next day and I got several bangs for my 34 bucks or so. Pretty amazing. My best was a nice looking girl of 30 (looks 25 though) at the Relax Corner bar which is part of a a group of four bars at the far end of the stretch as you hear away from the main intersection where most of the other bars are. Her name was something like Um and she has a sweet smile, biggish ears and a little mole on her chin. Perhaps a 7 in looks but a 9. 5 in attitude and willingness.
Twice I also tried the massage place at the main intersection near the girly bars and had a nice time there too. For 250 or so you get an hours good massage. An young round faced girl named Pang gave me a reasonable massage but an outstanding BBBJ for 1000. Not quite as good value as getting an overnight for the same price, but it was very very good.
In all I'd go back to Kata as it's a bit more relaxed and more balanced than Patong with plenty of fun.
Just be nice to the girls and they'll be nice to you.

We had a booking at the Poppa palace hotel from the (23rd through to 27th of December) in two separate deluxe rooms. Now that he has cancelled, the hotel unfortunately
Does not refund the booking made. Since one room has now been freed up, I was wondering if anyone was interested in taking the room for that period of time.
It is the peak season during this time of the year as you my well know finding a relatively cheap accommodation will prove to be quite difficult.
If anyone is interested in attaining this accommodation please contact me and we can discuss the details.
