I would imagine being able to grab a genuine model for short term or long term action would be less than 10%. Hey, this is Thailand anything is possible though.
The InstaHo crowd are available but they pick and choose their customers and are not cheap. If you know Phuket a little bit you can work out the InstaHo from the genuine models by the places they frequent and by their look. If they are seen on Bangla road quite a bit or tag a bar that is known as a popular freelance hangout (like barfunk on Bangla or Kudo Beach Club) then it becomes pretty obvious what they do. They also tend to be a touch darker than your genuine models and look a lot more, well Ho'ish.
InstaHo's get pounded by DM's everyday and are very picky who they reply too. In my experience I can get a 25% reply rate and prices quoted as $6 k to $15 k for a meetup. The rate they ask is correlated to how many followers they have on Instagram. A instaHo with less than 5 k followers is going to be about the same price as a normal freelancer although they will genuinely quote a LT (long term) rate only and it will start at $6 k. LT meaning they will want dinner / maybe try to drag you round to some night spots and then back to hotel for 1 quick shot. So $6 k is going to end up to be $12 k very quickly with expenses. If they have 20 k and up in followers their rate is going to get very expensive, very quickly.
Thai Good Times can answer this a lot more accurately than me. He lives there and knows everyone, sees where everybody hangs each night and which areas they work, including a larger portion of the InstaHo crowds. What he does not know, you can keep, because it ain't much.
There are no tuk tuks operating as their base from Rawai.
Any you will see there have come with customers from Patong, or Karon / Kata.
When in Rawai at night, there are taxis you can use to get back, get a bar to call one for you, or use the ride hailing apps of Grab, InDriver.FYI. I BFed a Bank Bar girl. She ordered InDriver for us to return to my huge suite with balcony overlooking Patong Beach and whirlpool for 254 THB. Earlier in the day I paid a regular 700 to take me.

I start thanking Thaigoodtimes for answering my questions. I did find my gem in the massage shops, so I leave with an overall good opinion.
As it has been said, there are too many women available for someone fails to find at least one for his taste. I didn't leave with a good impression of Bangla road, after visiting Pattaya and Angeles this was by far the least atractive RLD in mongering terms. Everything was there (go-go's, Street walkers and bars), but it was more of a circus with too many people with signs promoting the venues, too many regular tourists and a huge number of children! It was much more a Disneyland than a red light zone. To forget.
I did enter in 4 Go-Go's and will give my opinion, but as you know the staff can change any moment and the good place today is an horrible one tomorrow.
As number 1 I will accept to place Suzy Wong, the most famous and where i thing girls quality was higher. I also liked Nida, they had a cute girl full nude near the entrance and it was her that asked and served my drinks, a good impression. In 3rd place I can put Harem, were I didn't saw full nudity, and for last Diablo, which was terrible! An interesting layout, some full nudity, but girls quality was appalling, for someone who visited go-go's 15 years ago it really makes one person remember those times. In terms of hand's on approach recently mentioned in this topic, I don't remember the situation in Harem, but on the others it was really hands on! Overall Patong deserves a visit, perhaps things will improve next year.

Find the OTOP beer bars down Ratuthit Road across from Hard Rock and Hooters.

Better weather, better beaches, better social night life, more things to do, and better spending tourists.
And contrary to some opinions voiced elsewhere, Phuket is not that much more expensive for a Thai to live in than Pattaya, and way less than Bangkok.

I know and enjoy quite a few good options there.
BTW.
Google maps will say Kade Kwan Road is in Karon, as that is the district that encompasses Karon and Kata Beach.
Hell even Club Med Phuket which is on Kata Beach says on Google maps that it is in Karon.
So, if your hotel says you are in Karon its address, it may really be that you are in Kata, and the punting options there are much better and picking up.

Just back from a week stay in Patong for a dive trip. Bangla was not as busy as before the shut down, but busy enough.
As an old guy (late-60's) I'm over the loud bar scene. After dinner I just want to have a little fun without a lot of work or noise. Two options worked for me. 1) Freelancers on Bangla and 2) the new nuru massage on Soi Sansabai.
The freelancers show up around 10:00 pm. A good selection of about a dozen on the right side of Bangla at the start of the road as your walking to the beach. A little chatting / negotiating and we're on our way back to the hotel. No small talk over loud music, no lady drinks, no barfines or other bull. Price is between 1. 5 K and 2. 0 K depending on quality (since I'm only there a week I'm not that worked up over price). As with every option some were better than others. But for my old ass the situation worked.
The new nuru massage is directly across from the Yorkshire Inn, where I stay. The set up won'why make you forget Doki Doki, but they have a good selection of girls who provide solid service.
Unrelated to the purpose of this site, there's a new ice cream shop on Rat Uthit Song Roi Pi between Bangla and #6 Restaurant. It's called Mona's. Good selection of locally made ice creams.

Would appreciate a tips for a reasonable priced and good located hotel, with pool is bonus. Last year I stayed a couple of nights att Phuket Sea Resort which was bad and the other I stayed at was really good but is full in December.
Well my little Phuket jaunt is almost over and was beginning to think I wouldn't find anything memorable in Patong. Had one massage with boom boom finish but it was memorable for all the wrong reasons, you know, as you walk out you think, well that was a waste of time and money. So I decided that maybe it's best just to chill out. So I went and bought a nice little joint and chilled out on the veranda watching the traffic cruise by. Then it occured to me a massage would be just the thing to further enhance the chilling out thing. Floated over to the nearest palour grabbed the first woman I saw, nearly pushed her in through the door, "lets go".
It was one of those places that have rows of mattress on the floor with curtains dividing. We were the only ones there. I had a good time in Rawai last December partly with help from your insights. I may return this year as well for some diving and sunshine. I really got to.
Like Rawai for its pace and vibe.

Cheers.The successful ones pay much more, 10,000 plus per month for better ones.
The 4000-6000 ones are basically two rooms, bedroom (sometimes a kitchenette), and bathroom, furnished with bed, table, wardrobe, TV, air conditioning.
They are serviceable, but basic, and most times the girls will share them 2-3 per room, and per bed.
Expats can rent condos (bed sits) from 10,000 up, small 2 bedroom lounge, kitchen, bathroom, Thai houses for 12000 up, or western style pool villa units from 25000 up.
Some even rent the cheap Thai rooms like the girls do, as they are "bar resident" retirees on low low low budgets.

Well, I hope I don't step on too many toes here but after spending a week in southern Phuket following the readings here, and comparing to experiences of living in Bangkok I have to sadly conclude. What the fuck happened to you Phuket?
First. Bar area in Karon (similar to OTOP area in Patong) - oy. Bunch of small bars which, if you want a chill beer is sure nice but being pulled in every one direction by a bunch of (please forgive me) old hags. Hellz to the nope.
Second. Massage place next to Angus O Tooles pub that used to be Bow's Massage but 8 months ago got bought out by the new owner. Who herself gave me a nice massage followed by hand / mouth play. Now that was nice but the whole place is quite basic. To be honest, I can't imagine fucking separated just by a curtain but to each their own. And thanks to the posters who mentioned this place.
Third. Bangla and around. For context, I came to Phuket first time about 12 years ago and haven't visited since and I can tell that Phuket is still reopening. I don't know what's worse. Bunch of touristy looky loos, bunch of subcontinent guys trying to get into places for free, families with kids out and about around midnight (wtf? Kebabs everywhere, music competing for loudness left and right. Holy shit did this place go down and then some.

Patong has been shite on Bangla Road post covid, with gogos asking ridiculous rates.
So it's a place in my opinion to avoid.
And many other reports on here have laid out the issues you reported as experienced quite clearly.
And staying in Karon, WTF!
That has never been a high class mongering destination, not even a mediocre one for Phuket.
Its a tourist resort town, not mongering at all, and mainly Russian tourists at that.
The better bars and massage shops are the southern end of Karon called Kata, which you didn't find.
And again all of that has been talked about on the forum.
But the gem of Phuket, IMHO, is even further south in Rawai, but I'll not say more given that you didn't get anywhere near there.
And guess what, that had also been well mentioned in the forum.
Lastly, Phuket, and thankfully at that, will never compete with the offerings of Bangkok.
So if you came expecting that, then there was never going to be any chance of pleasing you at all.
BTW.
I do like Bangkok, it's a nice place to visit a few times a year.
But I would never want to live there.

I am guessing you have seen and done more than thatI didn't do much at Patong. I was with my older relatives.
There were freelancers along Soi Bangla. More started to come out at midnight when I went back to my hotel. Not ugly, but nothing to write home about. I miss that BJ bar that was around Go-go street, maybe 15 years ago. Not there anymore.
I will definitely do and see more, when I go to Pattaya next month, without my older relatives!

I would say the raining season is heavy and longer. Even the long term merchants along beach road are saying it's like 10 month raining season.
I would delay any travel until next year if possible. They have great demand pricing for umbrellas and rain coat as soon it starts to rain LOL. Good to Patong was ahead of the game many years ago! When ever it rains all the massage shops reduce capacity as people hang out inside awaiting the rain to pass or ladies take a break. The flash flooding really puts a damper on just wandering around finding little gems.
On the upside less people when it rains and it's not cold.
I would say that the bangala road is back to about 80% . I would avoid the gogo"s for bar fines the prices are super high right. Harem and Susie wong are quoting 3-4 k short time and 700 bar fine. Given the talent is not as good as bkk, it's hard to justify. I did the rounds of few places and did not see any bar fines.
It's all bad thou, freelancer on WeChat and on the street is still ok 1. 5 and you can ask what service is.
When it's not raining there are a few gem massage shops.
I would keep your expectation in check when out and about, Bkk is so much better for price and quality.
I won't comment on grab or motor bike taxi haaaa! Better hire a scooter or walk.

Hi, scuba diving question.
The best spots in the area I am aware of are:
- Richelieu Rock / Koh Tachai.
- Hin Daeng / Hin Muang / Koh Haa.
Did dive several times during last few years but visibility was always bad.
Will come back in Phuket area in December. Did not book any diving yet.
Any tip where / when I should go to improve the chance of good visibility? Mainly looking for big fish.
Any other diving spot around Phuket you would suggest (I did dive the Koh Phi Phi spots already).

Big fish right now is Tachai / Bon, with mantas being seen every dive this last week.
Richelieu and Tachai, together with Bon, can be done on a short 3 D2 N liveaboard leaving / returning to Phuket by van.
Longer liveaboards are also available.
Hin Muang / Daeng and Koh Haa can also be done by short liveaboards, 3 D2 N if the dates align.
Currently there is a trip 16-18 December.
There is also great day trips 3 dives, Rachas, KingCruiser wreck / Shark point, and Phi Phi available.
As well as world class muck beach diving at Kata Reef.

Shark point and Racha Noi is worthwhile. But you should probably do a live-aboard and head up to Similan for what you want. The ones you listed outside Lanta might not be optimal during this time.Short Similans trips starting in Phuket are best for time short visitors.
They can start every day of the week, for 2, 3, 4 or more nights.
Also, there is a monthly 3 D2 N Koh Haa, Hin Munag / Daeng trip that leaves Phuket and sleeps overnight on Phi Phi.
As well as once a week speedboat trip from Phuket to Koh Haa.
Koh Phi Phi, Shark Point, and KingCruiser as well as Koh Racha Noi and SouthTip are great dive trips.
But they have vet low chances of seeing big things.
Similans at Koh Bon and Tachai Pinnacle are seeing mantas every day.

If it is the one in Patong, just near Soi Saynamyen, then it is girl friendly, as it rents out short time rooms to the thatched hut bars right in front of it.
There are also massage shops all around it, just go up to one of them, ask for an in room massage, and pay the price they ask.
Then either take the lady back to the room with you, or arrange for her to visit at a specified time.
If it the Bel Air Cape Penwa resort, you had best ask them, as it is right in the middle of a conservative Muslim community.
It is also a long way from any naughty massage shops, so it is unlikely you will get an in room massage to come there.

I'm used to walking around while travelling, so a 1 - 2 km walk at once is quite doable. I'm more concerned about safety.
1. Any likelihood of getting mugged / robbed while you are walking along an isolated path?
2. What are the chances of a stray car or motor cycling crashing in to you? Are the main roads around Rawai well lit at night?
I know you probably can't put a likelihood, but has this kinda of thing happened before or happens regularly?
I see myself walking up and down Soi Saiyuan, or inbetween Bank Bar, Laguna Plaza & Vijitt Resort at night.

For me, the major risk you face being traffic seeing you as street lighting is minimal.
From Vijit to Laguna is very safe to do, tho I'the be more concerned about Vijit to Bank, or Bank to Laguna later at night.

If you get a hotel in kata beach to be closer to water sports every morning, is it still close enough to the red light district for nighttime fun. I'm seeing hotels on kata beach for 30 a night. Do they have hookers in the beach area or only in red light district.There are no street life hook ups like Pattaya in Kata.
If you're looking for Kata Beach hotels on the water or close to it, then get one on the northern end, the Karon end, as that is where the night life is.

Patong can become overwhelming as it's just tourist sex central.
Rawai has a more relaxed and chilled vibe with things to do, as well as still great bars and pussy chasing opportunity, at a lower price point.
Plus its still easy to travel in and spend a night or two hard core partying in Patong when you want.

Yes, Rawai is a spread out place, its basically a triangular circuit, some 10 or so kilometres in length.
So yes, you need transport.
If I had to pick an area to stay, it would be walking distance to Laguna on Wiset Road, or Bank Bar on Soi Saiyuan.
The longest section is the diagonal road called Soi Saiyuan, at about 5 km from end to end.
This Soi has around 100 punting places on it, massage and bars, and 500 plus ladies working it from mid morning till late hours.
Everything sexual, and every type of girl is available along it from FotB SYT's to mature women.

I'll spend 3 days near Rawaii and 3 days near Patong Beach arriving toward the end of January. You guys have me more excited about this leg than my other planned stops (Bangkok, Koh Samui, Chiang Mi, Pattaya).
I'm especially looking forward to scouring the post 2 am scene for freelancers, but also going to ride around the southern tip and take in the scenery at the various beaches. Hopefully, I'll nab a nice "tour guide".

It now has around 100 massage places on it or just off it on the way to Kata or Naiharn.

What's the going rate for ladies in rawai?That's a big question to answer.
As there is always a range.
The bottom price in Rawai is as follows, and can be achieved even with quality lookers and young ladies / girls (under 25).
But, remember, the more you bargain and push the price lower, to it's lowest, the more you are seen as disrespecting the girl, and as a Cheap Charlie.
So when bargaining, take care to ensure that it is a win win if you want good service too.
Massage shops with FS included.
Can be got for 1000 baht all up, including massage fee (normally 300 baht).
General win win pricing is 1000-1200 baht for FS, plus 300 massage fee, all up 1300-1500 baht.
If paying 2000 baht, which will be asked often if they think you are a tourist, you are paying a premium, and would want a premium service.

Patong can become overwhelming as it's just tourist sex central.

If you are staying near the airport you can find quite a lot of bars and massage places along the coast a mile or so down from the airport (walking distance). It mostly seems fairly legit, but if you walk down to the south end of this area, there is a liitle side soi at "37PW+H6M phuket thailand" (google search) with beer bars and also the massage girls look more open to offering boom-boom massage. One name is "Sue bar and massage" and next to it "Easy Bar" - I didn't try those particular ones but just that should help you find the right street. At one of the massage places I genuinely had only 1500 baht left on me and that was just about enough for a boom-boom massage. The slim attractive but not superstar 30-ish girl wanted to check my wallet to see that I wasn't bullshitting her. But ultimately she agreed rather than suggesting something cheaper so probably she normally asks something like 2000. It may have helped that I'm handsome man too. She wanted to negotiate inside so the girls at the next-door shop wouldn't hear her agreeing boom-boom. Service was great in a non-pro kind of way.

EQ.If you're going to Phuket for just two nights and only one thing, then personally I would choose Rawai.
The variety is greater, the hours available, mid morning through to late night are good.
Sex in the Rawai bars will cost you ladydrinks and barfines or short time rooms so is more expensive, as it is sort of an "event".
Phuket Town is OK tho around Colonze for what I would call night time walk up fuck, and leave.
There is limited stop and drink atmosphere there, the massage shops around there are pretty much just girl lineup brothels.
Daytime massage and full sex options exist readily around there too, just quantity and quality will be less.
That's a big question to answer.

There are a number of naturist resorts like Peace Blue in Rawai (https://www.peaceblueresortphuket.com/).
But I don't know of swingers ones, as most of the swinging activity is pretty easy to arrange around Phuket with like minded tourists.

Renting a bike is OK, just don't take it out of Rawai via the Chalong Cirlce, as that's where the police are a problem.
Just use it local Rawai and Naiharn.
You can stay pretty much anywhere if you have a bike.
Lots of coworking places exist too for remote workers.

In my experiences, the best massages have come from shops that do not offer special massage. For example, Massage by Ked in the eastern part of Patong has a number of good massage providers but I suspect that sex services are highly unusual if at all. Their providers have been female, male, and ladyboy. I’m assuming there are dozens of equivalent places.

I went on a longer ride past week and has been wanting to check out Soi Saiyuan as per recommendation as told here. Unfortunately it was scorching sun so not much outside views when driving slow from the road connecting from Kata. But yeah there is definitely a lot of finds there. I opted for a massage join near the end after spotting some interesting staff on the left.

Where there is good below the water shore diving in May, it is very poor with above the water land diving options.
In May it is out of season in Phuket and the shore diving is closed, similarly throughout the west coast (Andaman Sea areas of Thailand).
The Andaman Sea season is November thru May.
The good shore diving in May is in the Gulf of Thailand, think Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, Koh Chang (offshore from Pattaya).
But none of those locations have vibrant getting wet options.
Phuket does have diving in May, but it is on what you would consider cattle boats.
Fortunate, its best to say you have a dilemma.

I'm in Rawai for three days and then on to Patong Beach for 3 days.
The BS started at the airport. I flew with Air Asia and paid for a 20 kg checked bag in advance. During check-in, I erred by putting one of my carry-ONS on the scale and it was 11 kg. I was told it would be about 3500 baht to check that one bag. I wasn't feeling it at all. I remember a second bag being very cheap online and I wanted to check the second bag just to free myself up some, but not at that new price. It is supposedly that high because it is within the 4 hour time period for the flight. Got into mini argument with the "manager" behind the clerk and he's threatening to double price at the gate. F you. I didn't say those exact words, but let him know it wasn't happening and that I'the dress in all my clothes before I pay that price. A big deal for nothing. No one at the gate said not a word.
Fresh off the plane at HKT, I checked bolt to Rawai and was quoted 700 baht, but I had to get my checked luggage and I only had 4 minutes until ride would be there. With luggage in tow, I checked again and it was double now. I think partly shared rides were 1000 baht and private taxis 1800 baht. My cheap ass opted for the 100 baht bus. Not f'and worth it. Please don't do it ever. Added an extra 1. 5 hours and I had to find a taxi to my hotel which seems hard as hell to get in Rawai.
Taxis in general are hard to come by here. It is best to rent a scooter. Prices are 300-500 baht a day depending on how powerful the engine. I'm close to 240 lbs so I wouldn't want the cheaper options. I didn't rent one because the only day to do so would have been yesterday and I just walked a lot the last two days. I'm off to the Phi-Phi islands today so it would be a waste to get one this last day in the area.
If you don't want to rent a scooter, I suggest staying damn near on the Soi. I thought I was staying closer to the action, but those 1-1. 5 km walks add up. I lost five pounds already. Hehe.
My first day I was exhausted from traveling from Bangkok and chilled out in my room after eating a forgettable, poor excuse for sweet sour chicken at Asia Bar but I was starving. The talent there was depressing with a couple that were outright terrible. Quickly, high tailed it out of there never to return.
Using TR suggestions, went to Bank Bar and the staff is ok. Some are doable, but nothing blew me away. However, very soon two pretty light brown skinned Thai ladies came in and they both were sexy and looked young. Turned out to be 30 years old. Couldn't believe it, one had a real cute innocent look to her, but she is no parts innocent.
As the night rolls on, they are drinking and start to warm up. Some guys finished up a game of pool and I partnered with the friend of the one I really wanted to play the winners. It's about 3:30 am. I never stay out late like that anymore. The younger guy tails ass without me even noticing. I go to the bathroom and had plans on surveying the talent and it really wasn't anything worthwhile solo. I stayed away from the two ladies because they seem intoxicated by the attention. It was definitely many more men that women.
I decided to leave and completely forgot about Laguna Plaza. I didn't spend a lot of money on the chics, so no big deal there. I just wasted my first night in Rawai and I really really really wanted to get the cute friend home. Maybe it's a good thing. Because I'm pretty sure I would have paid whatever she asked with no objection. Still desiring a "semi" pro experience with GFE had me vulnerable. Took my L and called it a night, but I had a high level of confidence that the trip had turned for the better.

I always pay online for more baggage than I expect to need.
There have been some airlines where I couldn't figure out how to pay online for excess baggage, so I use another airline to avoid uncertainty. If I recall, Thai Smile and Viet Jet were two of those airlines.
If available, I fly Bangkok Air. After many flights I have zero complaints about their service.

All the damn Russians now living around Rawai have seen prices jump everywhere.
Same in Patong, where freelancers are now asking up to 3,000ST.
Thankfully massage is still the 1,000-1,500 all up.

I'm currently on my way to Patong. In Rawai, I stayed at the Phu NaNa hotel. It's nice enough and I paid a little over $50 a night. It wouldn't have been too bad of a location if I rented a scooter. Way too much walking and I don't mind exercise.
Both myself and the guy who told me the $8 k baht quote was definitely a brush off. Also, the name of the bar opposite Bank Bar is Banana Corner. I never went there.
After the all day Phi Phi Islands tour, I was exhausted. I had dinner and quickly feel asleep. I awoke at 1:30 am. Debated doing anything, but I was hungry more anything. Looking at Laguna Plaza on google, I saw some pictures of what seemed like a night market with food stalls, but when I got there around 2:30 am it was dead. The only thing I saw was the light illuminating Club Zhu. No one, but the doorman was outside. It seemed eerily quiet, but I still ventured in. There was no one on the dance floor and about 6 guys and 2 waitresses. The red door to the other side was closed, so I assumed it wasn't open. After sitting for about 5 minutes, I was going to leave until I saw the red door crack and I was told I could go in there.
It was less packed than the first night, but the ratio was good. About 50/50. It was not many people at all, but the atmosphere was great. I couldn't get my first drink without being snatched up by 3 ladies at the bar. Of course, the cutest one got my attention. She was extremely nice and welcoming. No games or pretentiousness despite being attractive. The chemistry was good and I knew I had her if I wanted. The problem is a choose too fast. It was at least 2 9's, a few 8's, and two waitresses in Geisha type dresses were attractive too and one winked me, but I couldn't act on it. Are they available?
There was another attractive lady a few seats down. I was standing behind my girl. This other comes up and puts her arm around my waist and rubbed my chest. I'm like damn. I think I want her instead. My lady wasn't having it. They had a mini cat fight and the other one stepped away, but kept eye f*cking me. On top of that, I noticed some attractive women started to pop up around 3 am. I paid 3 k baht for the LT. I asked her to visit in Patong, but she said all 3 days and I'm not feeling that. Besides, I'm going out with the tourist lady tonight. Rawai was 1000% better for me and I got my elusive GFE. I wish I could spread those opportunities out, but I actually felt like I had the power last night.

What I will say is that Bangkok and Pattaya have more choice at the lower price points than Phuket does.
But all three places IMHO have comparable price points available.
Bottom level pricing of 1000-1500ST is Soi 6 in Pattaya, Soi 11 in Bangkok, and in Phuket OTOP in Patong, Phuket Town, Chalong and Rawai bars.
Mid level pricing in bars in all three places is ST for around 1500-2000, and LT at 2-4000 negotiable.
With gogo's in all 3 also around the same of 3000 for ST, 5000-6000 for LT.
Too many Phuket visiting mongers treat Phuket like Bangkok and Pattaya, never leaving the central area around Patong.
They look it as the same as Bangkok along Sukhumvit from Nana to Cowboy to the massage area down Sukhimvit 33 and thereabouts.
Or like Pattaya, doing Beach Road, second street, LK / Metro, Soi 6, and walking street.
In both of those they travel kilometres around the area.
But in Phuket they won't leave Beach Road, Bangla Road, Ratuthit and it's massage shops, saying that small area is everything Phuket.
They don't find OTOP area down near Hard Rock cafe, they don't find the mini OTOP behind Soi Sainamyen and its cheap good FS massage shops.
Wrong.
And the shops, bars, and girls know that too, so they price accordingly.
Yet, if you travel just 5 km north to Kamala, east to Phuket Town, or south to Karon, Kata, Rawai, Chalong, you will find a very non Bangla Road priced mongering scene.
As to cheaper tourist related things you mention.

Hotels, trips, excursions, what exactly?
As I have found all of them comparable, with the only ine cheaper of real note being basic western level food in Pattaya which is cheap.
But again IMHO, I have always found it to be extremely low quality, hence poor value, and avoided it totally.

Allow me to state that I stayed in a 550 sq feet room, sea facing on main Beach road, Soi 2 in approx. 1800 baht, double occupancy with breakfast. From what I checked online pricing of hotels, I could not find at that price point the property that I was looking for.
For mongering, I look for good experience and I have paid 2 k to 4 k baht for long time on my 2 recent trips to Pattaya in 45 days. So, honestly, I would pay this or more too if I like the girl.
No, I would not treat Phuket on the Pattaya / Bangkok levels as in my opinion it is more scenic.
As far as trips or excursions is concerned, I am in no position to comment as I have yet to explore but believe you me, I would love to visit Phuket and am looking forward to plan one soon. Minor price deviations are irrelevant for me and understand that each place has its own price levels. I had clarified that I am a bit inquisitive and never knew of the other places that you mentioned nor read about them in forum except Rawai.

Ole Bar, Speed Bar, Boobs Bar have them that I know of for certain.
The girls in places like Bank Bar, Banana Corner and Gilbis Plaza can arrange access to short time rooms at Boobs Bar or nearby massage shops.
There are a few shot time rooms at hotels, Rawai Condotel, near Laguna Plaza for one.
Again, the bar girls can arrange places.

Morning of day 3 and I'm would really like to find some steak and eggs with potatoes.
Hard to find breakfast I'm' used to. I understand it's another country / culture. I see burger joints and other BS American food. Kinda surprised how limited breakfast options are and I don't eat pork so that make it even more of a challenge.
From TF to walking Bangla, the beach, and other areas, the talent here is higher and large quantity. However, I have yet to pull the trigger in Patong. I was drained from my Rawai LT the first night and got some sleep. Last night, I was with the tourist lady. I ghosted her the previous night and she still texted me the next morning, so I extended the offer to go to dinner. We went to La Gritta at the Amari. Nice view and good food. I spent about $150 usd.
She bought drinks at Chill Bar on Bagla. This is where it goes bad. I drank too much. I had two old fashions at the restaurant and 3 makers on the rocks at the “bar”. Intense DFK at Chill and then felt confident to invite her back to my room. It’s on as soon as we are in the room, but in the middle of her bbbj I feel myself losing strength. I daty hoping to reclaim power, but I was done. Too much alcohol and too much sex.
I won’t start another thread about ED, but it is real. I can’t drink that much and I need a good day or two before I’m ok without pills. To have a soaking wet pussy waiting for you and not being able act is the worst feeling ever.

Soi Saiyuan is shaped like the letter see, I walked it from south to about 4/5, to the almost most northern part where I found what I was looking for. Saw a couple massage parlos on the way but certainly less then expected. It was 23:30-23:50, is that too late and all are closed by then? Did I miss anything?

Arrived in Patpong 2 days ago and still only getting settled. I am staying near Bangla so right inside the action.
Strolled through the bars last night and was quite disappointed: Came here Dec 22, right after Thailand opened up to visitors again and had a blast. Bangla was a relaxed place with good action and a small crowd. The bars were easygoing and just happy you were there enjoying yourself.
Last night I went there and entered the bar where I had a few drinks at almost every day last time I was here. Walked in, some people cheering because they recognised me and they seemed just as happy as I was. So I decided to buy everyone a round of drinks (the people I knew from before) and the mood was very good.
5 Min later they were requesting another drink from every side, even the bartender. I never felt less appreciated. I was sitting there, having spent 2000 be on drinks for everyone, and they treated me like a newbie Farang who had no idea. Finished my drink and left. Same thing happened in another Bar. They will be avoided from now on.
Back to business: Stopped in several bars and had my chats with a few lovely ladies. Plenty of talent around in all shapes and sizes of course.
Bar fines were always quoted at 2000 be, which I find quite steep. But this GoGo Dancer I was sitting with might be worth the investment, she was stunningly fit and had a great personality.
Ended up at Suzy Wongs were I had a really good time. The girls put on a good show and drinks are served at a decent price. Not pushy at all.
Went to a Strip Club as well were the girls are Fully nude (forgot the name) and they treat you very nice when you buy them a lady drink. Was quoted take out price, but can't remember.

It's time to provide a sad punting picture update for my beloved southern Phuket.
The prices have made a pretty dramatic jump over the last 3 months, for basically everything in Kata, Karon and Rawai.
I even noticed the same in Kamala.
The reason is that the high season peak of Christmas New year hasn't stopped, its continued to grow into late February.
It's driven by high volumes of cashed up semi-tourists, mainly long stay Russian conscript evading refugees.
They have moved out of Patong, and setup in the south, bringing big spending with them that wasn't hereabouts before.
And the working girls have clicked onto it, and upped their prices.
Of course, there are some lower prices still, ones I have known for a while, but anything new seems to hit this new floor.
Massage sex was 1000-1500 baht before, now 1500-2000 baht.
