An STD would not show it's ugly head till about day 8-10. My experience is that it's 'sometimes' the humidity. When living in Bali I used too take a hair dryer to to my 'junk' and used talcum powder.
Folks this is embarrassing, On a short 5 day holiday in BKK, ( start of day 4 now at the time of writing this post) barebacked a girl on the first day and yesterday tried penetrating 2 LBs without a condom.
Today on day 4, I feel this urge to urinate every 30 minutes with a bit of discomfort in my bladder, its like a very mild dull pain, however no burning sensation or at this point in time, plan on glassing a doctor as soon as I head home on Saturday 5th October.
Seems to be a Urinary tract infection I guess. In the meantime any recommendations on an antibiotic as I dont want to ruin my last 2 days here in the LOS.
Would be grateful on any input.

So, anyways. There is a safe sex thread for this stuff. STOP POSTING THIS SAFE SEX STUFF HERE! Please !!!!
http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/forum/showthread.php?1035-Safe-Sex-and-Sex-Related-Discussions-in-Thailand
It's a popular topic and that's why it has its own thread.
Went to Soi 7 Monday and the talent in the first and second bars on the left as you walk in was amazing. Lot's of hot young girls. However, don't walk all the way down. Stop at the first corner and don't go left. Going past the first left hand turn, puts you in ugly and lady boy territory and going further down does the same.

Yeah, sorry about that. I was thinking the same thing just didn't know how to move the discussion. OP posted his question here. Under the circumstances, I wanted to be sure he saw the answer, and the PULSE clinic location / recommendation is specific to BKK.

Would be grateful on any input.Get tested FIRST! There are more and more multi resistant strains for almost every STD and with the advice here (while not complete wrong for certain STD) you do contribute to this. And yes I do have real medical expertise. And for all sake DO NOT TAKE A RANDOM ANTIBIOTIC AND CONTINUE FUCKING AROUND.

Would be grateful on any input.I'd say you're lucky that you got to BBFS with a chick on day one. Granted, it's easy to find in Bangkok, but I'm too chicken shit to even try it. Though Baphomet knows I've been tempted. Forget about what everybody's saying here. Just bask in the knowledge that you got to bareback a babe. It takes courage to go bareback with a chick. A kind of mentality I wish I had. Cause let's face it fellas, raw dogging a chick is literally the best feeling in the world.
No comment on the LB stuff.

This whole std thing, it's the roll of the dice ain't it? Don't blame the playa, blame the game. In this world where I can't get laid unless I pay for it, std's are just a reality. Even so, for them married guys, it ain't no guarantee neither. If there wife be cheating on them, she brings home an std. Well, there ya go.
Jeezum crow. It woulda been another 20 day sextravaganzain Thailand folks! I was so close! Mephistopheles, God definitely hates me. I was just weeks away and shit happened and I couldn't go. I bought the plane ticket and everything. Fucking hell.

Why'all got some poop up your dick huh? Next time you want to have anal sex with a dude pretending to be a girl, perhapss you'll be smart and wrap it up. Meanwhile, bactrim is what they give for urinary tract infections. So prejudiced. Maybe it was the LB who got some poop up his dick.
Agree with other posters here. Extremely selfish to continue having sex, bareback at that, when showing symptoms of a STD.

What you are quoting is the percentage of the population that is HIV possitive, not the transmission rate per sex act. Those are 2 very different things. However you bring up a good point. So, in Thailand only 1. 3% of the population is HIV possitive and then if you were to have sex with those particular people who are positive (and not taking meds because if they are on meds then they are undetectable and cannot infect you) then you would have a 1/20th of 1% chance (. 05%) of getting infected from normal vagina intercourse.
So I other words you are probably more likely to win the fucking powerball or mega millions lottery than you are to contract HIV from having unprotected vaginal sex.05% (or 0. 05 * 0. 01) * 1. 3% (or 0. 013) = 0. 0000065 or 6. 5 E-6 Thus, your chance of contracting HIV is about one in 153,800; so theoretically if you banged any random ***** in Thailand 153,800 times (or banged that many bitches) you would be all but guaranteed to get HIV by the Law of Averages. That's about 10% likely with 15,380 instances and about 1% likely with 1% likely with 1,538 instances (which is about what you might bang in a year).
This increases sharply to 0. 05% or one in. 01 *. 05 or a 1 in 2,000 chance if the ***** is HIV+. Furthermore, professional prostitutes have a much higher rate of HIV. Street meat is the highest as it is completely unregulated and many don't get tested at all. Bangkok street meat is as high as 48% HIV+.
https://www.aidsdatahub.org/sites/default/files/resource/access-hiv-testing-sex-workers-bangkok-thailand-high-prevalence-hiv-street-based-sex-workers.pdf
The chance that you'll win the lottery is about one in 300 million or 0. 00000000333 a. K. a. 3. 33 E-9 or 0. 00000000000333%.
Long story short, you are NOT more likely to win the lottery than to get HIV, and this is how mufukkaz get HIV. Go get tested. Take PReP.

Yes, my life sucks. But there are people who have it worse. If by "Don't blame the playa, blame the game" you mean it's ok to go around spreading STDs and possibly HIV just because you're paying for sex, then you're the reason that COViD-19 has become endemic and Syphillis has made a comeback. This is why HIV is still a danger to the population at large. It's a good thing cancer isn't contagious, because people with this mentality would spread that too.
So prejudiced. Maybe it was the LB who got some poop up his dick.

It's the game. Some guys use condoms, and many more don't. I always go with condoms when it comes to pussy, but blowjobs are best when it's bareback. Only a few times with the same girl did I ever go bareback in my long mongering career and that was when condoms weren't really a thing yet when it came to pay for play. And by Beelzebubs balls, till this day, she was still my best girl, my best fucks ever. I'll always remember her. But that's the game dude. I'll use condoms, but plenty of other guys don't use condoms. Don't blame me. It's the reality of mongering.
And you know what, if the prostitute is good to me, and I've fucked her a few times, I might just go bareback with her anyway. Why not? I'm an old man now, once I'm dead, who gives 2 fucks what happens after that. This is why the world is going to hell in a handbasket. Cause a bunch of old politicians want to watch the world burn, cause they know their time is up anyway, so why give 2 shits?
As a matter of fact, I'm seriously considering Bratislava for the whole BBFS escort thing, granted it's a premium, high cost and all, and you and the chick have to get tested, but man, once in a lifetime right?

I used them for a routine test in HK, not in BKK. Found prices here.

PCR28 test looks to be THB 8750, same day. Doctor will likely have a good idea on what STD, if any, is the likely culprit in the OP's case.I just went to the pulse clinic website and saw the whole shockwave therapy for limp dick syndrome. Might just be able to help me out. Not only do I have a small penis, but I can't keep it up unless I take sidegra or something. By Beelzebubs balls, I was cursed from the day I was born. Shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction! Who'd tha thought?

When living in Bali I used too take a hair dryer to to my 'junk' and used talcum powder.I bet the hair dryer and talc preventative for STIs is as effective as drinking bleach for COVID19. On the other hand, one could seek professional help from a licensed medical practitioner. It's a close call as to which strategy is more likely to cure an infection. /.
My advice is to ignore all the advice that you are getting here (eg, azithromycin or doxycycline) except for the advice that you get from a professional.

Discussing LB experiences is against forum rules.
But purely on the medical side, in case someone doesn't know, LB aka MSM (men who have sex with men -- USA CDC term) have the highest incidence of all STDs, including HIV. And anal sex is the riskiest activity.
Approx 1 in 10 of LBs tested in BKK were HIV-positive and one in four had some other STD
Https www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov pmc articles PMC3242825 and PMC8782340 (add forward slash) 35282719.
Then there's antibiotic resistant gonorrhoea (which can actually show up in 2 days, which is why I advised OP to get tested on the spot), monkey pox etc etc.
05% (or 0. 05 * 0. 01) * 1. 3% (or 0. 013) = 0. 0000065 or 6. 5 E-6 Thus, your chance of contracting HIV is about one in 153,800; so theoretically if you banged any random ***** in Thailand 153,800 times (or banged that many bitches) you would be all but guaranteed to get HIV by the Law of Averages. Long story short, you are NOT more likely to win the lottery than to get HIV, and this is how mufukkaz get HIV. Go get tested. Take PReP.You're splitting hairs here bro.
Maybe the analogy to the lottery wasn't the best comparison but the fact remains that even according to your own numbers you would have to fuck over 153,000 women to absolutely 100% contract HIV.
Let's use car accidents maybe that's a better comparison. I'm sure that depending on what country you are in, you are much more likely to get in a car accident than to get HIV from having unprotected sex. If you get behind the wheel 153,000 times in Mexico for example, you are bound to be in a wreck. Does that mean people stop driving?
Look the bottom line is this bro. Everyone needs to weigh the pros and the cons of having unprotected sex and then decide for themselves whether the risk is worth it to them. Me personally I'd rather take the 1 in 153 k chance than to have bad sex because I couldn't feel anything through a rubber. Now if you are a germaphobe and feel that 1 in 153 k is too much risk for you, then by all means please put on a condom.
It is your money, your dick, and your life.
Cheers,
Gabacho.

Search the web on Doxy-PEP.
Post exposure treatment using Doxycycline.Agree with TGT. Also you should be PreP. With freelancers buy a couple oral HIV kits for them in hotel -- simple mouth swab and 15 minutes later. At least then you know they likely don't have HIV. Note. You can't do this with bargirls. They won; t take time.
Some FL's on outcall will use yours if you are a trustable sort of person, but I find they generally prefer to use their own. That has not been my experience in Pattaya. In Pattaya freelancers ask for a condom. I produce it and they are happy. When I use a condom, I use the one I prefer.

That's why all girls and girls should take the HPV vaccine.
Do you know that many people have HPV. This is not HIV. Look closer Expplorer. There's a vaccine for HPV called gardasil 9 and it's not just for girls. I've had all 3 doses now. You can even get it in Thailand in Bangkok at the Thai travel clinic. But it's $125 usd per dose and it's 3 doses spaced out over a period of 6 months.

Hi Guys,

Thanks. You are asking about a The pill that cures stupidity? A German scientist has invented the world's first anti-stupidity pill. So far, the pill has been tested only on mice and fruit flies.
A man needs to jut at least 27 times a month for good prostrate health. Stay healthy my brothers.Damn SubCmdr, you're a stronger man than I!
Hi Guys,

I need suggestions on which tabs I can carry and take before / after the deed to avoid STD's and HIV.
Thanks.I definitely don't recommend BB with Thai hookers, or any hookers. But 200 milligrams of doxycycline after the deed could be a good idea. A doctor once prescribed 30 days of doxycycline for me for malaria prevention, so I suspect it's OK to take it occasionally. I've taken a one gram dose of azithromycin after fucking a civilian (nonpro) when I was afraid of taking something back to the girlfriend. These may work for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis.
You should get the Hepatitis B and, perhaps depending on age, HPV vaccines. You could look into PREP for HIV if you're on the paranoid side.

Hi Guys,
I may have some BB action during my upcoming visit.
I need suggestions on which tabs I can carry and take before / after the deed to avoid STD's and HIV.
Thanks.Ok, rape victims are given an injection of Ceftriaxone + 1000 MG of Azythromicyn. Since you plan to self medicate you can go for the second best is available in any pharmacy: 800 MG of Cefixime + 1000 MG of Azythromicyn. Nearly as good.
Otherwise Doxycycline 200 MG post exposure will reduce the risk of infection, but only marginally for Gonorreah.
But don't forget Teno-EM pre exposure as HIV MUST be considered in Thailand.
Honestly, for newbies, the best idea would be to visit one of the Pulse clinic the day you Land in the Big Brothel.
Whatever claims being made about BBFS are based on individual results. They cannot use those experiences to project into a population that all girls provide BBFS in Thailand. Sort of like saying all punters ought to be able to spend money like the Koreans do. Everyone had the same opportunity to make money. LOL!
Lastly, not everyone considers BBFS an opportunity. I do know this, it is most likely than not that those reporting only using condoms 1% of the time are under reporting the incidences they have received a STI over their lifetime.
Full Stop!
A bargirl posted the results of an STD test, thinking it cleared her.
Oops. Here's the truth. Pretty much any bar girl in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia is going to have HPV / HSV whether or not she has symptoms. And if you're fucking bar girls, you probably have it too. It's just basic statistics.
According to the American CDC, more than 42 million Americans are infected with HPV, and about 13 million new infections occur each year. HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the United States, and nearly everyone will get it at some point in their lives. Americans have less sex on average than Thai / Filo bar girls, so you do the math.
Herpes is a common viral infection that's spread through skin-to-skin contact. Globally, an estimated 64% of people under 50 have HSV-1, and 13% have HSV-2. You can get HSV-1 on your cock and HSV-2 in your mouth too.
But 200 milligrams of doxycycline after the deed could be a good idea. A doctor once prescribed 30 days of doxycycline for me for malaria prevention, so I suspect it's OK to take it occasionally.Doxycycline is commonly prescribed for acne, rosacea, Lyme disease, cholera, anthrax, malaria, pneumonia and the plague.
Some people take it for months at a time. It doesn't typically cause problems.
People who are pregnant or allergic to tetracyclines shouldn't take it.
Trial results show doxycycline COULD be effective for syphilis and chlamydia if taken as a single 200-milligram dose within 72 hours after unprotected sex. Results for gonorrhea are mixed.
It's no longer recommended for most active STD infections due to antibiotic resistance.
Here is the thread for this. Safe Sex practices are a personal choice.
I don't know about going raw dude, especially these days, even during my time when condoms weren't really a thing, people were weary about going raw in Thailand. And you banged a civilian chick from ThaiFriendly? I don't know man, best you get your pecker tested out soon. Nothing serious, just the usually syphilis or gonorrhea. Check out this most recent news report about how stds are surging among young people in Thailand. They be fucking bareback all day long.
https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2775464/sexually-transmitted-diseases-surge-among-youngI have a One Dick Policy! The only dick I worry about is my own.

Last I read was that 200mg of doxycycline might reduce the chance of
infection to about half for some common stds. Even though highly adverse to taking medicine
I have therefor been been popping it after every condomless encounter,
which is going to mean pretty much daily for a month.
The fact that it seems to be mostly prescribed for treating acne, and thus probably rather safe, is an added attraction,
though if anyone has newer info/links, that would of course be interesting to read.
After a week of banging low cost hookers in Jakarta left and
right without condom I half expected to have contracted some minor
ailment (chlamydia or gonorrhea most likely), but after my visit to
"https://pribta-tangerine.com/prep-new-999" some days ago, I was somewhat
surprised to be in the clear for everything tested.
They've raised their price to 1200 now, but not updated the webpage.
Apart from that, everything was quick, efficient, and professional.
I also suspect it's cheaper, and much more knowledgeable, than most of
the smaller clinics you'll find around Sukhumvit.
Walk in, no need for id or booking, and get the results via email,
including information about what to do if there is anything, four
hours later. Right next to a MRT station too, so easy access too.
Therein lies the distinction- prolly not recommended for active infections, it needs to be basically popped daily for at least 3 days after BBF for those newly infected. Viruses can hide in the liver for that long apparently.
Pretty much any bar girl in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia is going to have HPV I got a very severe case of herpes after a BJ from a street girl in Angeles City 9 years ago.
I need to take aciclovir twice a day otherwise the pain gets really intense. After a couple of days it feels like there's an alien creeping around inside me.
I try to do the right thing but I've never been able to use condoms so I usually take them off at some point.
I always rode BB in AC and Pattaya and after a few years I thought I was indestructible, but then I started racking up stds.
After treating chlamydia and the clap a few times I stopped worrying.
Then I got herpes and that's the worst of them all.
And I've been spreading it. Just so you know.

And I've been spreading it. Just so you know.Sorry old chap but I hope your bits all drop off if you knowingly spread such diseases!!
I realize there is inherent risk with sex workers and I do intend to practice it, but I cannot deny there is a temptation to do it raw. Are there some options that are less risky than others? Places or agencies that are better on testing and treatments? I know doing it at all is dumb but there are some options that are dumber than others.

I realize there is inherent risk with sex workers and I do intend to practice it, but I cannot deny there is a temptation to do it raw. Are there some options that are less risky than others? Places or agencies that are better on testing and treatments? I know doing it at all is dumb but there are some options that are dumber than others.Years ago when I was much younger I went raw with a working girl, and it was one of the best fucks I've ever had in my life. Granted, she was super nice to me and did sexual things to me that I never experienced before, so there was that. I still think of her to this day. Not that going raw with any chick is going to be stupendous all the time, but I hear you dude. The temptation is always there. I don't know of any agencies or places in Thailand that will officially do it. There used to be one in Bangkok some 10 years ago that facilitated the testing, but that escort agency is gone now. Nowadays it's massage joints like Butterflies and Princess that will do it, but it's more on the down low without tests. And obviously much riskier.
I'm actually thinking if you have time, say couple of weeks, find a chick, maybe even a more civilian type, you and her get tested, and then do the deed. Sure, you'd have to trust her that in time between the test and all the fucking that she doesn't go raw with anybody else. But even before then, take Prep for yourself just in case. I know it's a lot of hassle, but I'm thinking if I'm lucky enough to do that one day, I might try it. I do miss the feeling of going raw with a chick, and cumming inside her.
I'm an old man now, and before I finally leave this wretched world, I do want to check this off my bucket list. To fuck a babe raw one last time. Safely.
Wait a minute. I'm super old and could die any minute, why do I care about STD's? So weird, that there is the paradox my friends. That's the conundrum.
But even before then, take Prep for yourself just in case. Any suggestions on how to get that? Never really looked into it.

My worry is less about what will happen to me and more that I become a risk to others. Right now I live in a country where STD risk is low enough pregnancy is the bigger worry. So I don't worry too much about raw sex unless in very risky situations like an orgy that doesn't require test results. I'd be more hesitant to have sex if I was risking infecting someone else and raw sex would be off the table. Which is something I enjoy back home.
Thinking if I do decide to take the risk I'll probably just grab a girl or two from a more high end place for a long time stay to get a full night of indulgence out of the way.

You'll know it when you see it, they tend to be smaller places by the side of the road. Don't try at any of the big brand named pharmacists in the huge malls, they won't bother unless you have a prescription.
Even high end sex joints, the chicks there won't guarantee safety. It's no safer than any other chick you'll get in Thailand. Thing is you have to understand that most of these chicks will have a local boyfriend or husband, and those dudes will be sleeping around with other local chicks, and they tend to fuck raw. The safest bet is always condoms, and of course testing.
It's the uniform... there's something sexy about it
I like all the Thai females in their uniforms. Yesterday I was on the metro at rush hour and there were all kinds of uniforms.
One of them looked like a navy chick. She was hot. I even get turned on by the ladies who work in immigration. LOL.
She probably gave you something else on top of the cold.
These girls are being banged by all the Thais from morning to midnight. And Thai guys don't like to wear condoms.I wore a condom. Reading the posts here from all you guys who do bb and bb back door has been enlightening though.
I always knew I was a degenerate but didn't realise it was so common among other guys.
Not sure why you care what the Thai guys are doing if you're hanging around a red light district.
With men from all over the world and you're all banging as many women as possible.
I thought I'd done really well for years, doing bareback everywhere and getting away with it.
Then suddenly I started getting stds and eventually, I got the worst of them all; herpes.
The doctor who first treated me in AC said he'd worked there for 30 years and he knew this to be a very virulent strain.
Trust me, it's brutal and it's changed my life completely over the last 8 years.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but, I never got on well with condoms, so if I need to take it off, I do and in the heat of the moment.
I don't care how many people that might affect.
That's the kind of risk you're taking.

I'm curious, which one of you DOESN'T have Herpes?A condom while being very effective and protecting you from infections of the urinary tract is not going to protect you from herpes or genital warts which can appear on your pelvis, scrotum, anal region, etc. I would imagine the majority of dudes engaged in this hobby have contracted herpes or will at some point.

The regular multi-std test won't cover it because it's not really a big deal, it's not deadly and it doesn't evolve to something worse.
Also, 75-90% of infected people won't know they have it because they won't develop symptoms. Given your mileage I believe you're one of those.

Ever notice a stock only crashes when you buy it? Or it rockets up right after you sell it? Same goes for STD's man. There are guys out there who go bareback their entire lives, even bareback anal, and not a damn thing happens and then there are guys who religiously use condoms all the time, even for blowjobs! Yet somehow they still get herpes or Lucifer knows what else. It's all dumb luck, or lack of luck. Or just fucking fate. Like those people that died in the Jeju plane crash. When it's time, it's time. If it's time for an std, then that's the way the herpes cookie crumbles. It's the risk we take my friends in this vaunted hobby of ours. If we want fresh hot pussy, we have to take this risk. There's no way around it. And believe you me, I fucking want the sex. I'm so old, and I've been ugly my whole damn life, so now I'm ugly and old, which is a sad combo. So the ONLY way for me to get laid is paid sex, you betcha your bottom dollar, I'm taking the risk. Got to YOLO this stuff dudes.

Compare it to walking everywhere barefoot (like a Thai farmer) - you can walk pretty much anywhere: mud, gravel. All those pointy little rocks won't do anything and you'll be perfectly fine. Now try doing the same thing when you've always been a city dude, only barefoot inside the perfect surfaces of your condo, always nice comfortable shoes when outside. See what will happen when you run around in hard soil with all sorts of pointy / hard stuff like all the Thai farm kids do.
Another comparison, try living a day like the poorest Indians, drinking the same water, eating the same type of food. You will easily get the worst food poisoning of your life, especially if you've always been fully aware and careful with the hygiene of what you eat.
So, about the condoms. Who do you think will get sick more easily if fucking some random bar girl bareback? The veteran monger who has been inside 1000 girls bareback in the past 20 years and is still going strong, or the guy who always used condoms even for BJ and licked pussy through a plastic film and had 4 non-pro partners in his whole life?

Sorry to hear this. Herpes is way worse than even HIV. Some are never able to fuck again.Worse than HIV? WTF. Educate yourself.
Don't fall for anecdotal evidence or survivor bias. Its a numbers game. Best analogy is its like rolling dice. You could get snake eyes with one roll, or roll a million times and never get it. Its not completely luck because the more you do it the more chances there are for it to happen. Meaning someone that always barebacks is much more likely to catch something. Doesn't mean they definitely will, nor does it mean someone that is careful definitely won't. Humans are bad at risk assessment. Most people will either think they are invincible or that a single misstep will ruin them. In reality you are just making it more or less likely by your choices. You can control the odds, but you can never make it a for sure thing one way or the other.

I think its all about luck I have been with many girls in Bangkok for straight two years never had herpes or any std for two years but when god says your luck is over its over.
Now after herpes I am getting std's like flu I stopped having sex afterwards and after diagnosis my doctor told me to take valtrex 500 one tablet a day to put the herpes away worked for me and if someone lives or visit Thailand go get ozone therapy helped me a lot to stops these outbreak.

A true scientific breakthrough: old guys have fewer STDs than young guys.
Meanwhile, a 50 year bar girl just showed her lab results on Facebook. A bunch of HPV infections. I guess the resistance doesn't work for women.

Worse than HIV? WTF. Educate yourself.I agree with that. HIV might be more severe and might kill you but you have to live with herpes 24/7 and it completely fucks up your life.
Even though you look normal to everyone else. It doesn't kill you. It just makes your life shit.

Even though you look normal to everyone else. It doesn't kill you. It just makes your life shit.Unlike HIV/AIDS, which you only live with 23/7? Afaik, HSV gives you some cold-like sores now and then. With HSV-1 being concentrated on the face, and HSV-2 on the genitalia, and most infected people not even getting those symptoms, I'm guessing the relative harmlessness of it is also part of the reason there is apparently no cure for it yet, unlike other stds, HIV excepted.
It sounds like you're speaking from experience, so what other things about HSV-2 is it that makes your life shit? I tried to google it now, but couldn't really find anything that made it sound that bad.
It sounds like you're speaking from experience, so what other things about HSV-2 is it that makes your life shit? I tried to google it now, but couldn't really find anything that made it sound that bad.I picked up my dose of herpes in the back streets of Angeles city. I know exactly when and where I got it and who from.
Which makes it suck even more because she was kind of a fantasy of mine.
Within a day or two I could feel it on my dick. Went to a clinic and the doctor gave me a big shot of antibiotics and.
Loads of medicine. I asked why he'd charged me $100 for an std test and he said 'Trust me, I've worked here for 40 years.
And the herpes strain you just picked up is extremely virulent. '
Everything I read online about herpes says if you just ignore it, it goes away. I tried that a few times and mine.
Just goes on the rampage inside my groin, then starts spreading throughout my body.
It destroys any joy I have for life. It's the weirdest feeling, knowing there's a virus creeping around my nerve endings.
It makes me feel like death would be preferable quite honestly.
Then it takes days of medicine to calm the symptoms down again.
So after a few years like that, I'm now taking 800 MG per day of aciclovir to keep it suppressed.
Those pills aren't cheap so that blowjob has ended up costing me a lot of money. I don't even want to work out how much.
By the way, I have a friend in England who doesn't monger but he's also got a bad problem with herpes.
And there are reddit groups who talk about how hard it is to live with it too.
So I'm not sure why you couldn't find any info on it because it's very common apparently.
...

Not exactly, but what info I found says it's very common, and does not bother people much. I take it there are some less common strains that are a bigger problem then.

I'm super old, and thinking that with little time left and almost nothing left to lose, what's wrong with picking up an std or two while living out my sexual fantasies. Thing is, as much paid fucking as I've done in all my decades, I don't think I've done nearly enough, because I haven't picked up an std yet. Doctor says, it's almost 100 percent I've gotten hpv, that's something inevitable, when I described to him my sexual history. And of course, nobody wants HIV. But if I pick up herpes, syphilis or gonorrhea along the way, especially at my age, I'll be dead in a few years anyway, so what's the big deal right? And I know in our hobby, plenty of dudes with the herps, will fuck bareback anyway, cause they don't care who picks it up next, cause they already have herpes, so to hell with anyone else. I know that would be my thought process as well. It's like, if a place already has trash all over it, I'd just chuck my trash there too.
I suppose, if I get to live my Thailand dream, then an std or two is inevitable, so what it's like fellas? Does it affect your day to day much? And with how cheap medical costs are in Thailand, it's all pretty manageable no?

Where to buy PrEP in Pattaya, apart from via Pulse Clinic. Is there a specific pharmacy where you can walk in and buy PrEP without a prescription?I'm sure this applies to Pattaya as well, I've only ever done it in Bangkok, but if it's a small mom and pop pharmacy by the side of the road, not like the brand name ones in malls, you should be able to get whatever you want without any prescription at all. That's how I got my boner pills. I'm sure it's the same with prep or anything else they might have. You walk in, say what you want, and if they don't have that specific brand, they might have a generic version, you pay cash and voila!

Going to get it checked out in England in a few weeks.
Apparently shaving your pubes increases your chance of contracting an STD by up to 75%. That's because shaving causes lots of tiny cuts that infections can get into. Of course, not shaving increases your chance of getting crabs, but that's a minor inconvenience and easily cured. So guys, if you want to lessen your chances of taking home an unwanted souvenir, keep that 70's Bush!

Not to all your big rollers obviously but a few dollars a week adds up over the year.Keeping HSV at bay it's different for every person. There are certain triggers that one should pay attention to. Diet is a big one. Food sign arginine can triggering outbreak in foods high in lysine can help prevent them. Nuts are very high in arginine it should be avoided especially for a few years after one's initial outbreak when the body is still trying to learn how to control the virus. Sunburn is another trigger as is any type of abrasion or skin irritation near the inoculation point. So when you are engaged in action it is preferable to use a lot of lubricant, and if one uses a condom be sure to lube one's unit before putting on the condom. Stress and exhaustion can also be triggers so when on a trip minimizing alcohol use in getting enough sleep is essential. Most of the people I know who have had HSV for years had very few outbreaks as they have learned what their triggers are and also tend to recognize prodrome symptoms such as an ache in the garage, a bit of sensitivity, etc. And yes some people I know are taking acyc regularly and the good news is there are generics available in Thailand they're quite inexpensive. However if one pays attention to triggers and perhaps a supplements daily with lysine, I'm not sure constant medication is needed.

Life is fucked up man. Either I got all the time in the world, but no cash. And when I have a little spare cash, I ain't got the time to fly. FML. I know it sucks for you guys out there that have the herps, but at least you got it from a worthwhile activity. It's like that quote from the movie 'Auto Focus' : "A day without sex is a day wasted".
If you're going to get the herps, at least get it from a ho. Imagine if you got it from your wife or girlfriend, because she cheated on you. That would be so much worse. And statistically, to get an std, you'd have to had banged hundreds of babes. Hundreds. Love is a battlefield, and sex is kinda too. Soldiers occasionally get shot. If we want to be the sexual heroes to other would be hobbyists, some of us have to take the hits man. I don't have the herps yet, but if I did get it, it would mean that I got it in Bangkok, and that would mean I finally made it back to Thailand, and at this moment in time, I'd give anything to go back to Thailand. I'd sell my soul if there were any takers.

However if one pays attention to triggers and perhaps a supplements daily with lysine, I'm not sure constant medication is needed.Yeah I know all that stuff. I was using Lysine for a while. It didn't seem to make any difference. And I adjusted my diet too. And I quit drinking 6 years ago. But I was still getting bad outbreaks. So I just settled in to a few years of taking acyclivor. But I've just learned about ginger being effective against the herp so I'm going to boost my use of that and try and cut the pills down a bit.
statistically, to get an std, you'd have to had banged hundreds of babes.
.. and that would mean I finally made it back to Thailand, and at this moment in time, I'd give anything to go back to Thailand.Re, the first part. That's not really true. You could get herpes from your first ever blowjob, or chlamydia or anything else really.
My luck held out for a long time because I was banging really sketchy, dirty street girls for years.
But then I started racking up the stds.
Most of them can be fixed with a few pills but catching herpes really messed me up.
I've had it for ten years now and I'm living in Bangkok but I'm not banging beautiful girls every day.
Because most of the time I don't feel like it. Herpes affected me in lots of ways.
Re, the second part, I hear that. It sucks to be somewhere when you know you'd be so much happier somewhere else.
Re, the first part. That's not really true. You could get herpes from your first ever blowjob, or chlamydia or anything else really.Exactly right. Lots of people don't get this. Especially working girl mongers and gamblers. They either don't believe or don't want to believe.
A 1 in 10,000 chance of winning doesn't mean you'll win if you play the game 10,000 times. You could play 50,000 times and never win. Or you could win on the first play.
Getting heads on a coin flip has 1 in 2 odds, but you can flip a coin 10 times in a row and get tails every time.

I know you got the herps dude, but live like a king anyway man, live your best Thailand life for those of us that can't be there. Also you know what? I appreciate you for not fucking around too much, since you have the herps. More guys should be like you. We don't want to be passing stds around.
That being said, I can't even worry about it, cause I'm not in Thailand. Worrying about getting an std, means that you're in an environment where that can happen, sadly right now, I'm no where near a place like that. Fuck, I'd sell my soul to be in Bangkok just one more time.

Around 8:18 the shrink explains why we like orgasms. And I think for me it's quite true, but short of alcohol, weed or hard drugs, I do everything I can to distract my mind from thinking about the events of the work day and my terrible, asshole colleagues. It's so true for me, at this point, I'm dying to quit my job, take whatever cash I have, and fly to Thailand to fuck, so I can have me some orgasms and forget my many, many problems.
This is why we love orgasms & the nature of happiness. Sounds like a good book title no?
Anyway, the video is pretty good, goes into detail on why we're so unhappy these days. Aside from the obvious things like not having enough money *sigh*.

I know about Pulse.
I am looking for a pharmacy where I can get PrEP without a prescription or without spending $200 at Pulse for testing I don't need.No legitimate place is going to sell you PrEP without an HIV test first. I think that's all that is required. Less than 1000 baht at Safe Clinic in the Times Square Bulding on Sukhumvit in Bangkok. It's on the other side of Sukhumvit from Robinson at Soi 17. There are multiple sex clinics in that building including Pulse.
There are at least 3 sex clinics in The Trendy Building on Soi 13. I've never used these but my friends have. My only personal experience is with the Safe Clinic in the Times Square Building. They have testing and treatment for STI's.
Some recommend going to the Red Cross for free testing but for me it's so cheap and convienient that I use the clinics close to me.
No legitimate place is going to sell you PrEP without an HIV test first. You're wrong about that. Most, if not all, pharmacies in Bangkok will sell it. Only problem I had was finding one that stocked it.

You're wrong about that. Most, if not all, pharmacies in Bangkok will sell it. Only problem I had was finding one that stocked it.Exactly. Any mom and pop pharmacy in Thailand will sell you anything you want as long as you have the cash, and they prefer cash. Unless things have changed dramatically in the last few years, anyne should be able to get anything from them, not just boner pills. Although for me back then, it was just boner pills. Man, got to love that sidegra. Also, it's about whether they have what you're looking for in stock. If they ain't got kamagra, then maybe they might cialis, and so on. Got to love them Thailand pharmacies.
NOT the brand name pharmacies in malls, they want prescriptions in there. I mean, if you've been anywhere in South East Asia, you'll know it when you see it, mom and pop type pharmacies. They are never in a mall, usually in a small store by the main road. You'll find plenty along Sukhumvit road.

Anyone know a pharmacy that has PrEP in stock and sells it without a prescription?
Please don't refer me to the Pulse Clinic.First time I bought it at a somewhat larger non-chain pharmacy somewhere between Nana and Asoke BTS, on the same side as Terminal 21 is. Called South East Asia Pharmacy I think (or something like that, east, asia, pharmacy). Got the impression they usually have it in stock, as that's where some other pharmacy recommended I try after I'd tried 3-4 others without luck.
If you go to https://pribta-tangerine.com/ and buy the two-three extra packs you are allowed to buy at one time, their lower cost for the medicine will make their included test for liver function, hiv, and other stds, in practise be free compared to the higher cost per pack at regular pharmacies, so that's where I went the next time.
I appreciate you for not fucking around too much, since you have the herps.

Those who have tried Prep how were the side effects? On the internet it says there can be vomiting and diarrhea etc. Very big list. When I'm traveling in Asia I don't want to be shitting my pants.
What are the requirements for starting Prep? Only a negative HIV test? Or do you have to test the liver functions and is Prep hard on liver? If I do an HIV test in Europe before traveling to Bangkok or Pattaya is it easy to get prep there somewhere? Or should I talk about it to my doctor here In Europe? I have a free company doctor I know well but just feel shy to tell him that I might need Prep as I'm traveling on a sex vacation in Thailand and I don't like condoms.

There's any number of side effects for any kind of medication, they have to list it out after all. I wouldn't be too concerned about it, the odds are pretty low you'd be affected by it too bad. A free doctor? Dude, by all means just tell him or ask him anything. Why be shy? I know Prep is an HIV thing, but going bareback, there's still all the other STDs though.

I mean if you are afraid of HIV it might stop you from taking some risks going bareback all the time. I don't like condoms but I can still pass everything if the risk seems to high. With prep it might be different as there is no real fear of HIV. And so many antibiotic resistant bacteria that are not nice like gonorrhea. That in a sense might be even worse than HIV, which can be treated well these days. Better just limit the bareback action to the minimum. Only with "safe" girls. Of course you will never know and be able to tell by looking at someone or her status but it might help reduce the risk anyway. And I care about other people so I don't want to pass anything to someone else, to a perfectly healthy girl if I bareback someome "good girl" later. Prep doesn't do any good for that. So many other nasty stuff to catch still out there. And now there also seem to be very thin 0.03 mm plastic condoms in bigger size 56-58 mm, which might be okay.

Don't be so gullible to believe everything 'mainstream'. There is no evidence for the existence of viruses, as Army doctor, Dr Milton Rosenau, discovered in 1919 -- when he could not transfer sickness from one individual to another. Turned out their maladies were related to early, crude, radio transmissions, and the equally-crude typhoid vaccines of the day. Whenever you hear 'pathogen', think 'poisoning', instead! Rabies? The animal merely ingested some toxic, plant foods. So much for 'plant power'; animal foods are far safer and more nutritious. Always do the opposite of mainstream advice, and you'll be fine.
Arthur Firstenberg's work "The Invisible Rainbow: A History of Electricity and Life," is a book that explores the history and impact of electricity on human health and the environment. Firstenberg argues that many environmental problems and major diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, are related to electrical pollution. The book challenges the common belief that electricity is safe for humanity and the planet, detailing the effects of electricity from the early eighteenth century to the present day. Firstenberg's work has been well-received, with readers praising its thorough documentation and ability to connect technological advancements to their unintended consequences.
Radar 'Flu' (1957); Hong Kong phooey (1968): military satellite constellations; 'Covid': 4G/5G cellular frequencies. Why blame 'viruses' and inject with unknown, toxic 'vaccines', when the root cause is right under your nose? It's 'Trick and Treat' to dumb-down, sicken and reduce the world's population down to 500 million, according to the Georgia Guidestones.
The 1899 Merck manual listed pure, pine-gum spirits of turpentine as an STD cure. Since the 1980's, Jim Humble's MMS (master mineral solution) has provided an anti-microbial remedy via chlorine dioxide gas. Hence Trump's oblique reference to the 'bleach' remedy. He'd have been taken out back and shot, had he stated it more directly. Also known as 'water purification tablets', for travellers.

I don't feel any side-effects. 10 days of Doxy on the other hand gave me the worst diarrhoea of my life. That's because the antibiotics destroyed you natural, gut flora. Just go into a 7-Eleven ('Hang Sewen' in Thai), or any good supermarket, and buy 'Bio' or 'Bifidus' live yoghurt. Like 'Bisto' (gravy powder), it 'Browns, seasons and thickens' -- within 24 hours!
Don't fall for the medical mafia's quack remedies. HIV, like all alleged viruses, does not exist. It is merely a ruse to push toxic AZT -- which really will finish you off!
I don't feel any side-effects.
10 days of Doxy on the other hand gave me the worst diarrhoea of my life.Just goes to show we all react differently to drugs and how pointless asking the question here is. Myself I only felt a minor queasiness sometimes during my hiv-prep and doxycycline period, but nothing much. In my case I speculated it could have been because I was drinking a fair amount of coffee as usual, which the usage docs says can increase stomach upset when combined with doxycycline, but the symptoms was so minor that I didn't bother quitting the coffee to see if that would improve things.
For my next sex-vacation I'll probably add anti hsv-2 tablets too, to reduce the risk of that. Somebody else here (thanks) made me aware there are strains of hsv-2 that are apparently producing symptoms a lot worse than just some cold-sore like blisters once or twice a year.

Somebody else here (thanks) made me aware there are strains of hsv-2 that are apparently producing symptoms a lot worse than just some cold-sore like blisters once or twice a year. That's so true that everyone has his own side effects. And it is also true that every known side effect has to be included in the list no matter how unlikely it is. So I guess the only way to find out for yourself is to try. Doxycycline I had once for days for malaria prevention but I didn't notice any side effects. Of course the dosage for malaria is pretty small. Someone also mentioned difficult HSV-2. I got HSV-1 to my penis in 2010. The first outbreak was bad and then maybe the following year I had another one and possibly a third one later. Now I haven't seen or felt anything from HSV in 15 years. Either the virus is gone or sleeping without any outbreaks so for me it was actually nothing. Maybe HSV-1 does not thrive downstairs? So it might actually be a good thing because it might give resistance for HSV-2. On the other hand there is some research that herpes virus increases heart disease risks:
https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/JAHA.122.027451
05% (or 0. 05 * 0. 01) * 1. 3% (or 0. 013) = 0. 0000065 or 6. 5 E-6 Thus, your chance of contracting HIV is about one in 153,800; so theoretically if you banged any random ***** in Thailand 153,800 times (or banged that many bitches) you would be all but guaranteed to get HIV by the Law of Averages.
Take PReP.The only problem is that these calculations are very difficult and sensitive to changes in numbers. Maybe Thai population on average about 1% of them of have HIV but in bar girls, freelancers and prostitutes it could be a lot higher like 5-10% so calculations change a lot. Many people don't have sex with "average person". Also if the partner has an HI virus it depends on which state it is how likely you are to get it. And of course the medication being used if any. So the real risk in many situations might be a lot higher.
I read about one man from my country who only had sex with condoms. Once his condom broke with one girl and he got infected with HIV. So how unlikely would that be if barebacking vaginal sex wouldn't be risky? Everyone always wins a lottery.

I apologize for not providing a link to the article, it's one of those things that I stumbled upon but cannot find now. I think the daily dose of doxy for malaria prevention is exactly also 100 MG. So if you are mongering in a malaria risk country you might also prevent STDs. Actually we were thinking about that and talking about when we were as young men traveling with my friends in Cambodia in 2010. We were taking daily doxy for malaria as described by our doctors. And we were joking that "now we can't get chlamydia". So it might have actually been more than a joke.

Currently, Doxy PEP for bacterial STDs is 200 MG taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex. That I can find on the internet under CDC.

For those unfamiliar with the terms, both PEP and PrEP are general terms for "Post-exposure Prophylaxis" and "Pre-exposure Prophylaxis". They apply to more than just HIV.

The medical mafia is the biggest propaganda show on earth. Right up there with false flag events like 9/11 and the whacking of dissenters ... usually by directed-energy (frequency) weapons, followed by, 'He had heart trouble'.It is a tricky and nuanced situation. At face value the infectious disease model of illness does seem to carry weight. Bad bugs get into our system and wreak havok, cause problems, and require proper treatment "of course". After all look how things get better when we take antibiotics. Look how society was improved by vaccination programs. Look how much safer we have become by tracking to the nth degree every epidemic with rapid testing. Look how the doctors have saved so many lives from the ravages of communicable disease.
At least this is the standard modern day model. These "pathogens" are so very dangerous and we require more and more tech and intervention to treat and prevent, to wit: the latest iteration, mRNA vaccines. There has been a multi-generation campaign to hammer this home in the minds of the public. After all it is quite a lucrative model indeed! I am not even alleging it is a "conspiracy". It's just the natural behavior of a regime to solidify it's philosophical underpinnings so as to secure its power. Nothing mysterious.
Because many "pathogens" are observable, it is an easy matter to project blame. Somehow some fuzzy electron microscope pics of some lumps on a cell has become proof of a virus.
Stand up at an infectious disease symposium and start questioning the model. . . See how long you last. Such discussions are outside the Overton window of the current regime, it's mouthpieces, it's priest class, etc. And so you are not going to hear in the mainstream media, or hear from 99.9% of allopathic physicians, or find funding and grants for studies in academic institutions regarding alternative models.
If it were indeed as simple as getting adequate sunlight, fresh air, contact with the earth, accessing excellent nutrient sources, releasing toxic thoughts and feelings from one's life, etc, well that would be rather problematic for the continuation of the current system. Largely we just need meat, plenty of it raw, and lots of saturated fats (butter, cream, etc) and eggs to have a massively robust immune system and vigorous detoxification pathways that maintain health. The occasional "infection" become a brief and minor nuisance.
The infectious model's fundamental axiom is that there are virulent pathogens in this world that are a threat to our very existence. But presence does not prove what actions they are actually taking, and think how crude is our ability to know on a microscopic and sub-microscopic level what processes are actually going on.
I urge any interested to consider the works of Aajonus Vonderplanitz (aajonus.net + books on Amazon). I am sure he is (was) not alone in stating that "infection" is a detoxification event, and any "pathogens" present are the workhorses doing their best to assist in the clean up.
Why was it that Pasteur could not provoke an infection by transferring bacteria from organism to organism until toxins will added as well? Likewise provoking an immune response to a vaccine.
Are there times when the detoxification process is running rampant and becomes dangerous? Of course. Someone in septic shock is dangerously close to death. The inflammatory response needs to be suppressed and their vitals stabilized. But let's not forget that we have suppressed a detoxification event and so these individuals actually need future support to facility detoxification over time.
So largely an "infection" is a happy day, for in the vast majority of cases it will run it's course and the individual will be cleaner and healthier for it. Surely it is Mother Nature's spring cleaning process. Suppressing these may allow us to conveniently get back to our modern lives, but it does not help us to thrive long term.
Some whys and what ifs. . .
What if instead of pathogens, viruses are an inherent capability of the body?
What if they are expressed when necessary?
What if they are a intra-species communication system, alerting fellow members of the species of toxicities in the environment (or consciousness!) that require cleansing?
Staph is ubiquitous. It is on every square inch of every human at all times. Why do only some who get a cut or scrape develop "infection"?
How is it that Sanford Katz (https://www.wildfermentation.com/) can experience a perfectly healthy life, HIV+ by simply eating a diet rich in fermented (read: probiotic rich) foods and living in a loving supportive community?
Human beings have been bare-backing each other for millennia, and the species has gone exponential. Is it likely that now, in the modern day, bare-backing is the problem? Or is it likely that modern life itself in some way is the problem?
Is it likely that nature has randomly and suddenly, in roughly 1980, come up with a deadly virus that now will kill us for engaging in the vital and critical (to the species) activity of bare-backing each other to produce other humans? After millennia, suddenly everything changes in 1980???
I am not saying it's a simple situation or that I have all the answers. There are 100's of well-what-abouts that will arise. But in my own life, I will say I am no longer of a state of consciousness that goes around fearful of infectious disease. Is it 100%? No. Do I have doubts at times? Sure. But increasingly I see that my state of consciousness is by far the most important determinant of health, and certainly not where I stick my di * k.

Yeah I'm still considering it. Prep might lead to risk taking in other ways. And now there also seem to be very thin 0.03 mm plastic condoms in bigger size 56-58 mm, which might be okay.I've never been able to do this, but I think if you're in Thailand long enough, and you trust the chick enough, that she's 'yours' for a few weeks. Then maybe you and her get tested and there can be no holds barred balls to the walls fuckity fuck sessions. Even when you're with her, you can take a few hours break to fuck other chicks with condoms, but then back to her for bareback. That's my dream anyway, but I've never been in Thailand long enough for that. Hell, at this point I don't know if I'll ever be able to go back. But I live vicariously through this forum *sigh*.

Trever and Josh: Since you don't believe in viruses etc, I challenge you to fuck a known HIV positive person up the ass bareback. If Viruses are not real and HIV doesn't cause AIDS you have nothing to worry about right? I await your reports. BTW I'm not against BBFS, I do indulge all the time. I also know F2 M transmission via vaginal sex is extremely low probability and I also use PrEP. You can take reasonable risk and not act like an uneducated idiot by denying well known and established medical facts. Use science and statistics to understand what your risk is and make your own decisions. But living in RFK's la la land will just get you sick and maybe killed. But then again, maybe that's just natural selection in action (which you probably don't believe in either).

I wonder how many of these people have herpes and fuck bareback? If HIV in semen, vaginal fluid, or blood comes in contact with a herpes sore, the risk for infection is high. Straight or not. Having the herpes virus makes sexual transmission of HIV more likely if the person living with HIV is not undetectable too.

Apparently some dude brought over his ADHD meds. Who knew that would get you into so much trouble. That's why I buy my boner pills and whatever else pharmaceutical IN Bangkok itself, and not bring it in. Remember folks, if it's something you can buy in a pharmacy that needs a prescription, you can find it Bangkok where mom and pop pharmacies will gladly sell it to you without one. Just money baby. Alls you need, cash money.
Also, how hot is the female news reader? What a babe. She kinda reminds me of that one chick I banged, repeat 3 times in Addict massage coupla years ago. She looked kinda like that. Thin frame, kinda sleepy bedroom eyes. Pale smooth skin. Muah! Chef's kiss.
Hope this is right place to ask, I tried the reddit askDoc channel and no response =\.
I see some red bumps on my pubic area that doesn't feel sensitive when touched and one I see a little white tip. Pics attached. Also have some bumps that are irritating on my base and scrotum. It's sensitive when touched. Look like Kaiser won't let me send msg while here. Is this an STI? Should try to get antibiotics? After a few years of this hobby it finally happens and kind of clueless. Thoughts? Advice? Should I try to get antibiotics at pharmacy or actually go to a hospital or something. I'm near Nana area any advice would help, thanks.

Professional medical advice in Bangkok is so easily and economically available that I'd not bother with anything else myself.
Enter the first mini shopping centre you see once you exit the mrt (you'll see starbucks quickly enough), and walk through it to the next building if I remember correctly. I see you can make a booking, but I just walked in and was seen within 5 minutes.

Now. I won't wade into diagnosing, but (reasons). Better to talk to an expert. Take care, AR.
