Health funds billed for brothel sex in New South Wales

HEALTH funds have been paying rebates to members who get massages with a "happy ending" in Sydney brothels a fraud investigation has found.

The sexual services which cost $60 were billed as a massage or as acupuncture and attracted a health fund rebate of $40.

An undercover investigation has resulted in about 80 massage services in Sydney being deregistered by health funds for fraudulent practices.

Four Chinese massage and acupuncture centres, including one in Ryde and another in Paramatta, offered undercover health fund investigators sexual services during a raunchy massage.

Health funds uncovered the practice after chasing up Chinese community newspaper advertisements offering to provide "young attractive masseuse with a health fund rebate".

Others were identified because all their clients were males aged 36-72 who were charged for acupuncture treatments over consecutive days.

Further investigations of the massage and acupuncture industry has found many of the students in white coats who work in the businesses have no training.

And some centres were charging health funds for multiple massages or acupuncture sessions when only one was offered so their patients were not left out of pocket.

The health fund rebates provided to brothels are just a small part of the fraudulent claims made on private health insurers.

Health fund members have been caught colluding with dodgy optometrists to get non prescription sunglasses covered by their health fund.

Almost half of the optical stores targeted by health fund investigators offered to pretend the sunglasses they sold were prescription items so the customer could claim a health fund rebate.

Others offered to supply expensive prescription glasses to fund members with no gap payment if the members signed a false claim that their wife received a set of glasses.

Australian Health Insurance Association chief Michael Armitage says this type of fraud is ripping off health fund members and forcing up premiums.

It's estimated fraudulent health fund claims could be adding about 2 per cent to the cost of the health insurance business every year.

"We work hard on providing premiums at the lowest price possible price and every time someone commits a fraud that means overall premiums go up for legitimate members so we're very angry about it," he said.

Major cases of fraud were referred to police.

This place has been operating for quite a few years.

I am an occasional visitor to Casablanca studio. It is located in the CBD of Liverpool a short walk from the railway station.

The premises are well run and always clean and well presented. It has a somewhat eclectic decor. In the introduction lounge there is barely a straight line with well upholstered bench seating going around the room with curves / waves in and out in the seating; in varying quality vinyl coverings of a range of marine colours. The rooms have similar decor styles, but always clean and more than acceptable.

Prices are (if my memory is correct) $au238 for 60 minutes.
It is hard to pick if it will be busy or quiet, which affects how many women are available for selection. Typically 3 up 8, sometime more will come out to be introduced. They will wait in the introduction area while-ever there is a chance of being selected; the more savvy of them will move to sit beside you and try to encourage their selection.

Unusually for Sydney these days, there are very few Asian workers; but the full array of Western Sydney ethnicity can be found at various times, with ages typically in the early 20’s through to mid 30’s. I am quite selective and probably only select someone 50% of the times I go there. When I've seen a women, I've never left disappointed (and I can be hard to please).

I don't understand why you are "struggling to find options" in Sydney. There are dozens of webs sites with adverts and links, the local newspapers are full of classified ads for shops and independents. Even some past posts here will give you some clues. Lets get the facts correct here. Both Victoria and Queensland have legal brothels that are government licensed and controlled. Bliss (104 Crown Street) was definitely the nicest establishment. Sydney has lots of reasonably priced hotels and apartments around the CBD area. Bookings are reportedly down at the moment, so plenty of bargains to be had. Anything in the AU$100-150 per night range should be reasonable quality and with basic services. If you book a double room, you are not likely to be bothered for bringing girls in. Usually only hostels and Y Hotels (YWCA) will restrict you.

Just FYI "Players International" has re-opened, and is now trading under the name "Temptations" (no website yet that I'm aware of, but still using the Players phone number. 02 9357 2828).

Seems like they are having a summer special for December, I always had a goodtime the couple of times I've went there.
