I can only speak to my own experience. Since GP has taken the time to type out (again) all of his parlour advice, I thought I should share my (limited) experience.

Now I have left Fiji I can give you all the benefit of my overall impressions. Disclaimer, these are just my opinions and I do not have anywhere near the deep cultural understanding of Gentleman Pat. Okay here is my report (because I don't only take info I giveback).

Even if you do genuinely only want massage and no extras, tip her at least $10 or $20, because her share of $30 ranges from zero up to a max of $7.00 (depending on the establishment).

And then they have fines to deal with. If they leave the air con running in the room, fine $50. If they don't tidy up all towels and tissues, that's $50. If they are 10 mins late getting to work, another $50. Sometimes their pay for a week is only $6.50. Dr Oyong at Garden City, and Sport City upstairs from dentist, are notorious for this.

In fact the Sport City one is now under investigation because of it. But they're also the most disorderly, with fights and pickpocketing and so forth, so proceed with caution.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Want to give back to the forum. Visited Nadi a few days ago and just confirming a few things that others, particularly GPat, have posted on this thread:

From North to South:

1. Hotel no. 4: Indo Bhaini as described in other posts, very enthusiastic and talkative. Extras as expected. But ambience was a let down and the room felt stuffy. There must be a flame war between her and the person at Relax, because she was strongly advising me against visiting it.

2. Relax spa: Also Indo Bhaini, friendly lady in her late thirties / early forties offering extras after a mediocre massage. Also talkitive and enthusiastic, but nowhere near the one at no. 4. My experience at this place was better than hotel no. 4, but YMMV.

3. Opp Fiji Flying academy, upstairs next to gym: Mix of ethnicity, but no extras offered. It could be because when I visited, there were other spa customers present, but your experience could vary. Decent massage for the price.

4. Grace spa: New, clean and professional looking place with legit massage. No extras offered, but the massage was top notch, probably the best massage I had in Nadi. Highly recommend for the price.

5. Mercure: There was an indian girl, name starts with S, who looks amazing and had a great body, but she was booked out for the day. Went back the next day, but she was not there. Got a massage from someone else, but no extras. The massage room had frosted windows that were next to a pathway, so my guess is "extras unlikely", but YMMV. Spa looked super professional, but expensive.

6. Spa near JetPoint, starts with "K": All asian masseuses when I visited, no pretense of a massage, all expected extras offered immediately, but got quoted crazy prices. Negotiated down, but still too high IMO. Was probably the my best extras experience in the area. Clean place with a shower, I appreciated that.

7. Foot massage place near town bridge: Indian lady in her thirties offered all extras as expected, but the rooms felt dingy and the massage table was not super clean.

8. Bali: Place with the most straightforward experience. Asian mamasan up front, masseuses all ethnic Fijian, gave a half decent massage. Not a lot of choice in masseuses, but enthusiastic and very reasonable rates for extras. Only problem is that the room walls do not go all the way to ceiling, so can pretty much hear everything in an adjacent room.

9. Place next to ANZ bank on Queens Rd: Forgot the name, but an upstairs spa with mixed ethnicity masseuses. Massage was half decent, and offers some extras, decent experience. Again, rooms with partition walls that do not go the ceiling, so no privacy at all.

I did not get a chance to try out Hexagon or Capricorn. The spa at Mercure also has a branch at Novotel, might be worth a shot. Happy explorations!

1. don't mind the name, that's how I started, helped me out quite a bit this place and the people here. Just trying to give back. This is probably the latest update for newbies for suva area.

2. MP Nakasi Max Value plaza.

Never was truly satisfied here, had one good experience once with a kailoma girl and that was it. She doesn't work there anymore. Most of the other times I went there, the girls were not great and its super slack over there. There is now a hall for hire right next door and you get no privacy as you walk in. I don't expect that place to stay open long. The girls ask for a lot of money for their services and they are not worth that much. I'm talking into a couple hundreds. Don't be afraid to just take a massage and go because some will surely take advantage of you.

3. Lees Compound (Old Reliable).

My best experience to date come with this place. They have the best girls, good privacy (depending on time) and since it is a busy place, girls are not super desperate for large amounts of money. $100 should get you your job done price for massage included. Pro tip. If you are conscious about your car getting recognized etc, park at the Vinod patel or RB car park and take a walk (hoody and face mask for the super conscious).

3. Heard of Sports City and Garden City never went there, hoping for some feedback from anyone here.

5. Facebook.

Recently if you have noticed there have been people on Facebook taking money via Mpaisa for nudes, nude videos and VC etc. These are all fake and they use pictures and videos from the internet do not waste your money here. Most of these pages are run by guys making money. If they take your money via Mpaise you won't be able to do shit as you can't report it or track them for obvious reasons. Some friends lost a lot of money.

6. Tinder.

Tinder is a sea with very few fish. Tinder is becoming the new Facebook in the sense that the lowest value women get messages from 100's of guys so for you to get anything out of it is quite rare. The opportunity is there yet your chances are slim and it might take a lot more time then an MP. However you can get lucky with home based service providers. Some women are looking for guys on tinder and take money for their services. So if you're lucky this is your chance.

7. Sharing.

Magson Plaza was not great late last year, only a very round kailoma or an underfed bhaini on duty. Both were lacking in customer focus. But a return journey since New Year saw a lineup of 7 or 8 to choose from, ranging from petite kai loma through to 6 footfour statuesque bush bunny. Privacy is excellent, all rooms have showers, and parking is convenient since the fast-food burger joint nearby went broke.

Yeah, re. Grace I can confirm no extras. Massage was good but was met with stern looks at my suggestion of more.

Kool Spa is the place near Jetpoint. First visit with Coco I was offered extras, but at quite a price: she opened with $300 for HJ, and settled for $200 CBJ (done the lazy way with a hand finish). Second visit with Aida who offered nothing more, but delivered a pretty good straight massage.

Try it out.That one is owned by the same qauri chinese Doctor that owns the Garden City place. The same girls will rotate through there, though he runs Garden City as a more high end place and keeps the younger prettier ones there. Some of the young pretty ones are ice queens, and are very open and honest about saying so. Any that try to push the price up to $200 for the hour and offer bareback in exchange are likely trying to get enough for their ice.
