Hi all. I find myself in Xi'an again and staying at the same Shangri La as before. The one FAR AWAY from all the action. I am not at the Shangri La that is close to SEC place. Anyhow, couldn't get away from the work crowd until now well past mid night and am wondering if you guys know how late the IBIS place stays open till? It's far from my Shangri la and don't want to venture out at this late hour and return empty handed! It looks like that for the remainder of the time I am in Xi'an, it won't be possible to break away from work group till 11 or midnight every day so I can venture out late at night.

Cross the street from Ibis and walk towards the wall and you'll find another bathhouse on your right side. They also do full service there for 280. Had two good experiences there.

The door is just left from the IBIS vertical advertising. There is 2 small statues at entrance outside. I join 2 pictures of entrance. You can not miss it.

Babcom.As it happens, I was in Xi'an over the weekend and tried this place. You go downstairs and into a small reception area, change shoes and get a tag. It's a sauna without a real sauna area (at least not one I could see). You get changed at the locker area and go into the shower area to, well, shower. There's a male massage chap there giving massages, but not much else. When you go back out to the locker area after showering, the young chaps jump to and provide a disposable blue pajama outfit, and lead you round to an area with rooms. The rooms just have a bed, TV and wall mirror; no shower or anything like that.

Their massage (with or without HJ) is excellent. I have had 3 different girls and all have been expert. Only number 16 offers the 130 Y service as far as I know.

This location is very close to my appartment that's why I know this place for about 10 months now.

First of all: They (officially) offer just two services: Feet massage and fullbody massage, but they have eight (!) different prices for that.

And the rates differ from room to room (the larger the more expensive).

Example: A fullbody massage is 238 RMB when you arrive before 6PM and 258 RMB when you arrive after 6PM.

The same massage is 148 if you are a VIP (means owner of a discount card; 1000 RMB) or 158 if you are arriving after 6PM.

So they have 4 prices and it is the same with feet massage.

In every room you have a table with these prices on the wall.

I have never seen a room for 298 (maybe a room with 2 king sizes beds)?

Note 1: The girl just get 98 RMB (58 RMB if you are a VIP) , the rest is just for the room.

I know they have rooms with 2 beds if you have a party with your friend.

First of all: They (officially) offer just two services: Feet massage and fullbody massage, but they have eight (!) different prices for that.

And the rates differ from room to room (the larger the more expensive).

Example: A fullbody massage is 238 RMB when you arrive before 6PM and 258 RMB when you arrive after 6PM.

The same massage is 148 if you are a VIP (means owner of a discount card; 1000 RMB) or 158 if you are arriving after 6PM.

So they have 4 prices and it is the same with feet massage.

In every room you have a table with these prices on the wall.

I have never seen a room for 298 (maybe a room with 2 king sizes beds)?

Note 1: The girl just get 98 RMB (58 RMB if you are a VIP) , the rest is just for the room.

I know they have rooms with 2 beds if you have a party with your friend.

Note 2: A massage parlor would get bankrupt very soon if they offered just a standard massage for these kind of prices in Xi'an.

Everything above 100/120 Kuai includes a handjob, at least.

The reason for me to get a VIP there:

You pay 1000 RMB and you can use this amount plus a free fullbody massage.

That means you get about 15% discount.

I often use the same room there, which is 238 RMB when I go there at 17:55.

Because I am a VIP I pay just 148 RMB (minus 15% if you calculate the free one). So all in all I get a 90 minutes massage including handjob, a drink and something to eat (if you like) for a total of 125 RMB.

With the quality of the girls in mind and the quality and comfort+cleanyness of the rooms, this is a good price for Xi'an.

Since I know this place (I went there maybe 15 times) , the fullbody massage is the same.

Since EXPO 2011 ended in late November last year, many many places are open again.

Just walk KECHUANG LU on the left side. Passing an ICBC bank branch. And then enter the next building.

You cannot miss it because this place is hugh and you can see through a lot windows.

Was out and about near the South Gate with a gal a few nights ago and noticed several very active bars on South Ring Road just outside and to the west of Yongning Men (South Gate). We went in one called Houyan Bar, can't really see the bar from the road. When you walk from South Gate west on 2nd Ring Road go past the first 2-3 bars then, directly across from the Howard Johnson Hotel, there is an arch lit up at night, usually a harmless attendant is there. Stopped by this place last week, the entrance is a single door between a restaurant on the northern side and Hotel Ibis on the other side.

It's still in operation. Being a laowai, they knew exactly what I wanted when I walked in.

This evening while on a walk, I was handled a promotional flyer for a massage place. I did not look at it until later under the light. Not as good as GPS but I will try to describe. From the entrance of Lianhu Park on Lianhu Lu, go west to next light and cross to the north side of Lianhu Lu. The one block street heading north is Congxin Xiang. Actually there is a foot massage place on the northeast corner, it looks pricey. Go north the one block on Congxin Xiang and then turn right onto Qingnian Lu. Go down on the south side to about where a street meets Qingnian Lu from the north. There are double glass doors with large yellow Chinese characters on them.

Change your shoes for slippers and then downstairs to a basement with a hallway of rooms. The place is not brand new but it is in pretty good shape, not old and dirty. Private room with two lounge sofas and a flat screen TV. The 90 minute foot massage with HE is 218. There is FS for 300+. I got a late 20's or into 30's gal with a nice figure in a short black dress. I was in Xian recently for the first time and I must say, there are a lot of Sauna action here if you can speak Mandarin. I stayed a night and found quite a few from the Chinese equivalent of ISG and basically a lot of full service saunas (usually the &27927; &28020; or bath establishments). The one I tried was on the 3rd floor of the Quest International building just outside the Western walls on the Western Ring Road. If you exit through the Western wall from inside the gates and look towards your left, you can't miss it as there is a huge sign for the hotel on the building.

It's basically a very Chinese sauna experience though the facilities are quite reasonable and not that rundown. When you arrive, you enter the standard locker area where you strip off, take a shower then dry off and get ushered into the waiting area where as you rest on the many couches. Then an attendant come and take you to the action room. Now this is where the manager tries to upsale, there were 3 options. 468, 568 and 668. The cheapest is standard one hour action with minimal service with the most expensive a 90 minute session with the more service. Since I was there only one night, I took the highest option and then they started bringing in girls one by one, and all were very average and flabby. I complained at this time about the quality so finally they bring in one that was ok (I really thought there'd be more options) and proceeded with the service. I must say, the massage part was very average compared to Shanghai and action heaven Dongguan. The action part was also very perfunctory from the girl and all in all, not the best value for money compared to previous experiences though if you have not tried other parts of China, this may be a good option. Management will try to upsale the most expensive package but from what I had, I should have gone with the 468 option as what I got was at best at that price range. Also, if they bring in girls one by one, be persistent and wait and ask for better quality as they will try to promote the girls with the least amount of customers and hence least attractive to you first!

Anyway, just thought I'd make a contribution here as the Xian board is relatively silent. There is also a further full service sauna just opposite Quest International at the Dynasty Hotel but I did not have the time to try. As I said earlier, if you want to explore it is very easy to find as you just look for the &27927; &28020; (xiyu) sign and ask for that if you get lost once you enter the hotel.

I was staying at the Grand Mercure a couple days ago, started to get the itch so I tried to look for a couple places near me on here. In the room there's a price list on the table but it was in Chinese and each one seems to have three columns of prices going from high to low. As described in a previous post, I went in and took off my shoes and they gave me the slippers and I went upstairs and started walking to the left down the little hall but then the guy stopped me and started talking to me in mandarin which I obviously didn't understand. I am guessing this is because of the crackdown, but he got on his phone and called someone and told me to wait. After about 5-10 minutes, another guy came in and called me downstairs. He motioned with his hands and said you want one finger in his other circled hand and I said yes. LMAO.

So they said to put my shoes back on which I did then the guy motions me to follow him. I was a little worried, but felt better when they walked outside and then went right into the Ibis hotel! They went up to a room on the 5th floor and there were 4 different girls to choose from, that all looked a bit nervous with a foreigner. They were probably 5-8 or so. I picked the curvy 8 and asked how much and after some talk they said RMB400. I said how about 300 (using the calculator on my phone) and then they said you have to pick one of the other girls then. So it was back to Heping Lu for me. First time I was too early for the place next to the Ibis, so went to the "open legs" nearer Hepnig gate. It was a pleasant surprise. Here is an update on the Xi'an scene.

I could not manage to succeed with escort services, which I had found easy in Beijing.

I found two websites which actually provide escorts in many cities, Lily and 7 Stars.

Both ask 1000-1300, after negotiation for one hour full service.

I've been following this forum for a while but had trouble registering. Here now.

I'll post a couple of places in Gaoxin. Perhaps in separate posts to get my post count up.

In general one can say: FS in Xi'an is 300-400 Kuai / session, 600 Kuai for call-girls.

Call-girls charge 800-1400 for overnight service (12 hours).

Still, with minimal possessions on you I guess these places would be OK for bringing a girl up. She said they're girl friendly and they have private baths as well.

I left pretty satisfied. 100 RMB isn't bad at all for a release and Xiao Xie was nice to me.

After my session was when I actually walked down Jixiang W St and saw the 20-somethings standing outside on the street beckoning me to come in. I think that from now on it should be pretty straightforward. Simply walk in, ask for FS, find out that it isn't offered, and then get a HJ and arrange a different time for FS and get her contact info.

Last week I tried out FIX's sauna and found his report accurate and helpful. First floor there is a locker room, showers and a huge sauna with a big flat screen to watch while you soak and relax. I checked out a place previously listed and found another place which should be avoided and then finally returned to the bathhouse I had visited before.

First Jixiang. I have not been in Xi'an too long, but I cannot imagine this place ever being worth it. Narrow alleys with restaurants and other businesses, but the entire area is rundown and I can only imagine what the P4P places look like once you get inside. Even if there are places to go for cheap quickies, I would skip it. I have seen places in Cambodia that were better.

While wondering around, I found a massage place on the corner of TaiBai South and Kechuang on the south side. I was flagged in by a guy and shown to my room and was immediately offered 'the fei ji' for 398 RMB. Thinking I could I could negotiate for more with the attendant I said sure, but then he tried to sell me a membership card for 5,000 RMB. As I was planning a visit to Xi'an, I looked at the site. It is very polished and well done, telling of the beautiful massage girls who will make your world complete.

Prior to my trip I wrote to them a couple of times seeking some information, but never received an answer back.

While the quoted 1,200 RMB fee was very high, based on the website description, it sounded like money well spent based on what the website described. So I decided to splurge and give it a try.

I can tell you that the operation is a total sham! Someone used some great marketing on the site – and if they actually delivered what they say, it might be worth it.

Once in Xi'an I looked over the website photos and made my selections. Then I called the booking phone number. A man answered and took my information to call back and confirm my location and room. A different man called back. We confirmed the price was 1,200 plus taxi fare for full service. He said the girl would be on her way. I asked if I was going to be able to specify which girl I wanted, and he said no and that he had no photos. Pot luck.

The website said the girl would arrive within 30 minutes and would show the taxi receipt, but this one took over an hour and had no receipt. The girl that arrived was not anywhere near the caliber of the girls shown on the website – she was maybe a 6.

She then wanted the money upfront. 1,200 plus 200 RMB for taxi. What! You can get quite a ways in Xi'an for less than 40 for a taxi. I told her I don't pay in advance and she wanted to know why. I told her that she would give better service if I pay later. She refused, so against my better judgment I paid her. She put the money in her purse and proceeded to disrobe.

I then pointed to the clock and said 1 hour. But she said the clock started when the taxi driver dropped her off – before she came up to the room! She then wanted to sit on the bed and talk about where I was from, etc. I told her I wanted to get on with the session since we were already 10 minutes into my hour.

Well the session didn't go well (no surprise). First, she admitted she did not know how to do massage. So much for the glowing promises on the website. Then she would not let me play with or kiss her breasts. All she wanted to do was kiss mine as she gave me a slow hand job. That got old, so I attempted DATY. She said no and that Chinese women "did not like that". So, 5 minutes into the action she wants to cap me! I said no – too early. She wanted to know if I wanted a BJ. I said of course. She insisted on the condom.
