I'm staying in SIP for one week, noticed that Bali Hotspring is probably the most convenient location. I have seen this sauna being mentioned earlier in the thread but no price was reported. Can anyone advise what is the charges?
Next to Bali Hotspring there seems to be another one that is probably a bit more upscale. Have anyone tried it? It looks rather grand and have 2 guards wearing what looks like jungle fatigue military uniform, but I'm sure they are just the guards.

Noticed a placed called W.H. Spa Club at "Shi Hui Fang / Shi Hui Business Street" in the middle of one row with some Japanese, Korean and Chinese restaurants just a few minutes walk away from my hotel.
The deco was gaudy but looked like at least a mid range place, with uniformed staff acting at touts outside. One day getting bored and not sleeping well, gave it a try, since their uniformed touts have promoted that they have extra service.
Left everything in the locker, (except my imported rubber - couldn't risk having those local rubber getting uncomfortable to interrupt the business like some previous experience at not too high end places), changed, walked past a shower / hot pool place, into the room. Parade was 3 girls at a time. First round was like 4 - 5 stuff. Second round was again 4 - 5. Looks like this place doesnt have the prettier girls. All are like early 20s at least. Perhaps the best of Suzhou are really all making 2x at Shanghai.
Just picked one to give it a try. Get into room, get a pail with a towel to give me a rub, didn't even bother with a shower. The usual stuff follows like boob massage etc. Was not very exciting, perhaps was disappointment at the selection and that it was late, and I wouldn't have bothered had I been tired enough to sleep, but feels like the tension was growing and need a release.

The Haiyi Hot Spring place claims that they only do legitimate massage. Am highly doubtful, since the're an army of staff at that place, with red carpets and stuff. Still thinks it is probably an upmarket place with extra. Could anyone confirm if that theres no happy ending at that place?
So went up the stairs to New Bali. Place looks a bit like it have seen better days. Was like deserted. Waiter said the price is 498 for all inclusive package. But smaller head was making the decision that night, so went in nevertheless.
Went inside. All the corridors are dark, lights already off and rooms are dark. Staff that looks like they want to audition for a modern rendition of Thriller walked around lethargically, bringing me to an en suite room with 3 foot massage chairs outside, a bedroom inside and a bathroom.
Asked to see more girls, but they only sent one in. Looks quite ok except the lack of boobs. And looks like a friend of mine that I don't want to bonk. In another words, not too hot. Asked politely to see more girls, telling her that she is ok, but I am expecting more choice, so at least give her some face.
Waited like an eternity. In came 3. Two in jacket and short skirt, looks so-so. Maybe 4-5. To be fair, I did went in on what looks like graveyard shift, even though it is only 12.30am and they claimed to work 24 hours. But the selection available was a shocker. Perhaps earlier would have been better. Unfortunately a very far cry from South China and I'm really missing the towns there.
I have been to most of the saunas in the SIP during the last couple of years but unfortunately, my personal experiences at all these places were all bad. The main issue is the attitude of the girls there who don't really care. They are mechanical throughout the entire process and sometime, you don't even get a friendly smile. It really kills the mood when you have a girl having an impatience look when she is jerking you off or when you are doing the deed. Not to mention you don't really get a good pick.
Anyway, I have given up on SIP. It is better to go to Shanghai and enjoy some real good treatments. Else, go to the BBS streets and pick up a girl, cheaper, and if you are nice to them (offer them a drink, a small gift), you get wonderful treatment.

I have visited a few parlours near the walking street (Guan Qian Jie). Just follow the Lin Dun Lu from the walking street towards Humble Administrators Garden. To your left there will be a small canal. On the other side of the canal, parallell to the Lin Dun Lu is a small dirt road, partially bricked. Along this road you'll find some places for enjoyment.

I was at the Paradise Club ( 天地会所 ) in Aug. P13Yes, this KTV is called Dong Fang Ming Zhu (东方明珠）， which is one of the top KTVs in Suzhou. I believe the sit down rate for the girls are RMB300 and for overnight it's RMB1300. They have some of the best-looking girls, DJs and mamasan in Suzhou. But do go with a local contact or someone who can speak fluent mandarin or you WILL get ripped off.

Last time when I stayed at Landmark Skylight Pearl Hotel 左岸明珠酒店, I went to the spa just next to the hotel for an oil massage (I believe 260RMB) and was told that I could have stayed there overnight by adding RMB 20. 1. Learn mandarin.
2. Trawl the MANY (and I mean MANY!) BBSs in the "old city", and even the bars.

This place is located on the 2nd floor in the courtyard behind Papa John's on Suhui Road on the far right end. Not sure which location you are referring to as the quote mentions three different locations.
IF you are referring to Shi Quan Jie, I usually stay at the Nanlin Hotel, which is on Shi Quan Jie itself. There are two buildings & best to choose the slightly more expensive one.
Sure it's not the Hilton etc. but a good quality 4 star experience for ca. 500RMB booked online. Excellent location being handy for all the bars on the street and definitely GF.
I've stayed there half a dozen times now and it's easily recommendable in my book.

I went to Yang Zhi Tang Lu the other day, and was disappointed by the number of SW. I saw two BBS's which was open on the left side as you move away from the city, and 2 SW's and 1 Mamasan on the oposite side.
Weather was nice, so no reason for not working.
Worse was the price they quoted. At the BBS they wanted 200, I said 150 is going rate in Suzhou. They did not agree so I left. I asked one of the streetwalkers, she wanted 300. I didn't even bother to bargain. She was a stunner though, probably aware of it.
It was around midnight when I went there, will try a little earlier next time.
Anybody have any recommendations where to pick up Street girls in Suzhou, or anyone who has has any luck in Yang Zhi Tang Lu lately?
Often there are about 20 SYTs and maybe 6 – 8 mummies on non-rainy nights along Yang Zhi Tang Lu after about 9/9:30pm.
Rainy nights dissolve the FLs and leave the beckoning mummies free reign under umbrellas and awnings, ever hopeful.
Usually along the road, the shutters (metal rolling vertical doors) are pulled down, because LE has been active in the recent past. Some of the "shops" are not on the street, but within sight of the road, if you know where and how to look.
The SYTs are almost all at the youngest end of the WG spectrum. I feel that many of the SYTs know some English, but the (older) mummies rarely so.
Prices through the mummies are a standard 150 kuai ST (usually 30 mins), the deed being done on the premises. Some of the FLs (not apart of the pricing cartel!) will charge 100, including local room access fee.
I sampled along this road last week, around 11pm.
Although I had "yellow fever" prior to my research walk I don't take any notice of a pair of SYTs at the eastern end of the "patch", probably because they looked too innocent (cough!), and didn't exude any "air" even though they were in the "shade" of a tree.
One of them called after me in an appealing manner, and said a few words in Suzhou hua, which I didn't catch, but whose intent was clear enough, that she didn't want a potential catch to get away.
I smiled, of course, and retraced my half a dozen steps. With fluttering eyelids, a shy smile and universal finger in closed fist sign she said "yi bai kuai" [one hundred kuai]. I smiled, and confirmed in Mandarin "yi1 bai3 kuai4]. She repeated in agreement, and said (in English) "Let's go! ".
I deferred, but she (they) were keen. I asked "fang2 jian1" (=room) "ni3 you3 mei3 you3" (=you have, not have?). "You3" (= have). "Let's go! "
So off I went with 2 SYTs, with clearly SYT1 the leader and provider. SYT2 was either not working that night, and the temporary mummy, or was deferring to SYT1's superior entrepreneurial, and English language, skills. Along the road, down a side street, over a little bridge (this is Suzhou, after all), down another side street, and after about 4 stumbles on half bricks in the half light, there we were, at one of the local FL activity epi-centres in this part of Suzhou
It was being used, so I made a few grunting noises and cupped my ear in the general direction. Though it was dark, I saw the instant red glow of their embarrassed cheeks in the moments before their hands went involuntarily to hide their reaction.
10 minutes and several exchanges of inconclusive banter later, a happy punter descended the stairs, with a very attractive FL following moments later. (Why is it that the male always exits first? Just my little research question at this point in time.)
Modesty and slow thinking saw me lose any digit-swapping opportunity.
Then it was my turn. For me it was the usual hot and humid weather performance, slow to start but with an increasing tempo, to finish about 20 minutes later with a delicious "rush" of endorphins to accompany the short shoves.

Attitude: 9 during negotiations, 6 at the climax, 9 at payment.
Age: 19 (Chinese age)
Sleaze: 7. I would have rated it higher, but there weren't any stains on the mattress cover and only a few leavings on the floor, from earlier in the evening.

I went to Yang Zhi Tang Lu twice in the past two weeks based on Pushkin's report. The first time I didn't see anything and the second time I saw one BBS on the left side with the shutter half closed, but 4 girls inside. I proceeded to go in and asked how much for service. there is a nightlife area in wuxi called 1912 (john huk - much smaller than the 1912 area in nanjing). it is very close to the train station - due east (and just a little south) from the railway station square. it's a mix of the usual chinese nightclubs, mazzo etc. and one or two bars where local expats occasionally drink. a lot of youngish cuties there and if you speak decent chinese may be an opportunity for freebies.
it's been about 15 months since i was last there but i definitely do remember not seeing any p4p action/activity around 1912. of course, i could be wrong.

there is a street with several bbs further to the northeast in xishan district (northeast of train station). from memory taxi from centre of town to his area will take approx 20 minutes.
there have been other posts detailing sauna service at the xizhou garden hotel (very good standard hotel). you can use the hotel as a landmark to find the bbs street. walking out of the hotel, turn left and walk until you come to the next main junction. turn left and walk straight for approx 10 to 15 minutes. you will begin to see bbs' on your right. quite a cluster from memory, perhaps 8 or 10, on their own all next to each other in a row. (my memory is a little hazy - could be the second on the left as you walk from the hotel - if you don't see any bbs within 10 minutes, double back, and take the second left. sorry if i cost you an extra 20 minutes!)
if you keep walking along that street, it slowly becomes more built up (local neighbourhood) and you can find many many bbs rep001tered along that street further along.
the girls did look very young, were dressed casually, and were working at open shopfronts. they also looked very surprised to see a laowai walking past (and checking out the talent), perhaps it's because i am also well over 6' tall too! as you the road develops into the local neighbourhood area, the shops tend to work as closed shopfronts with the thin curtain veils - girls are more sexily dressed here. there were many bbs outlets along this street (over approx 1km).

Just a note of my experience in Suzhou from about 6m ago.
Bar street "Shi Quan Jie", for those who don't know the frenetic pronunciation in English "sher chen ger"
Many chicken bars, varying girls at varying prices. The top hlf of the street (pulp fiction onwards) is more densely populated than the lower end of the street (near Janes Bar). Madusa bar seemed to have the more thread bear girls but generally dirtier in bed, Pub Bar, Millanos, and The red Lion had the prettier girls.
The chicken bar routine is very pleasant but can get expensive if your in and out of a few bars, a milk drink for the girl + 100 Yuan tip when you leave. If you just go in for a look, say you have no maney and can't afford to buy them a drink, they won't be as attentive but you can suss out the gaff before it costs you 100Y and move on if nothing suits you.
Prices tended to fluctuate with the market in the 12m I was there, short time upstairs in a bar would be 4 to 500 Yuan + 100 to mama san, long time back at my apartment would be 4 to 700 + 100 to mama san depending on the girl.
They'll always try and stick you for a tip fare tip of 100, but you can get a taxi almost anywhere in Suzhou for 30 Yuan.
An alternative is Jennys bar at "Lea Gon Dee" in SIP, Jenny a former Bar street mama san has opened up a plush 80s style bar chicken and normal bar, good band, girls are a bit more discrete but it's a similar script to bar street.

I stay at Suzhou since 10 days. I have been 3 times at Yang Zhi Tang Lu. I really ca recommend this street. There are almost 4 or 5 little brothels. Sometimes they ask you for RMB 300, but you can bargain down to 150. I found my favorite brothel. I always pay 200 for CIM.

I had a fine time browsing the bars on Shi Quan Jie tonight looking for takeout. It was a quiet Wednesday night. I arrived about 9pm and found about a dozen bars filled with girls (anywhere from 3 or 4 to a dozen or so girls in each place) , and no customers at all in most of them. I poked my head into a dozen or so places before deciding that the hottest girls were at Milan (and the worst at Madusa) , so in I went at Milan, ordered a Tsing Tao. Rapidly discovered that this was not a good atmosphere. Just not a friendly mood in the place, kind of quiet and tense. Also discovered that Mama was pretty aggressive about not letting most girls leave the premises. Only two of the dozen were available for takeout. So after a while I left, even though there was one girl who was just my type (Fei Fei) and also few others also of the super-hot variety. But those were not available for take-out, and the only two who were were not up to my high standards.
Tried a few more places. Yugglies in some, pretty girls in others; some aggressive mamas who grabbed my arm or coat and tried to drag me in. No thanks, treat me disrespectfully and I'm gone. Ended up at Blue Lady, where mama was having a good time kidding around, and the seven or eight girls and I had some laughs for a bit while I drank a beer before I made my choice. Picked a gorgeous hottie (I'd actually chosen her the minute I sat down, but hadn't made it obvious) , and 15 minutes later suggested she come back to the hotel.
I'm not a share-all-the-details kind of guy, but I'll say that we spent a couple of hours having all sorts of fun, we both enjoyed it a lot (or she was a good enough actress that its the same) , and I considered the 600 kuai well spent.
Looking forward to my next trip to SuZhou!

My most painful losing exp came in right on suzhou where I was lured into a "KTV", they forced me to sit down the I said I wanted to leave, then they charged me (I was there within 30 seconds)
It is just a pretext of robbery, and then the boss gave me a bill of 3000rmb for 30seconds being there, then I said I have no money, he told the girls search my pocket and took out 700rmb.
Then he sent me to a taxi.
That is my suzhou. Far worst than that 268rmb HJ.
If we do rttf, there are real bbs with normal price at the high-tech park area of suzhou, but not downtown and "tourist street", as the banner shows the street zoning. Sigh. Damn this place, just avoid it totally if we are 1 night traveler.

Just got back from a business trip to Dalang and was staying at the holiday inn Jasmine.
I didn't see any action in the hotel it self, but I was facing this big KTV call Golden GTV KTV, and at 6-7 PM see loads of girls going in through the side entrance. I had to make my way down to it and stand by the construction bank to view all the girls arrival. Always a fun experience.
Did not go to the KTV, hope some regulars out there will try this and will update all of us. But it seem a lot of locals were going, by 6. 30pm the whole parking lot was full. I am expecting the same old 6-7 for a small room etc. Please share if you have the chance to experience it.
I also check out the bars at the sichang lu, which was fine. Walk in and was swamp with girls getting you to join them. I had no issues and was straight up asking them for all the prices. 100 for sitting fee, so I had 2 sitting with me. They wanted some juicy box crap and I said no, they drank beer or barcadi silver or they will not be sitting with me. Some time at one point, they wanted to me to take them out, so I ask for the prices again and its 100 for bar / mama and she gets 500 for 1hr. As this was going on there was a lot of guys / white / asian / blacks in and out. Pretty happening. Some try to get the 500 for 2 hours.
I was not in the mood and so, ask what else, she said we can go upstairs and that was 100 to use the room. It's a little room enough for about 7 and the girls sang and drink. Then ask me if I want to do them there. Now, I am sure the prices are like 500 like ST. Once again, not in the mood and just did some kissing and groping / fondling. Went back down and drank some more then left.
Total damange 200 per girl and 100 for room upstairs and 1200 for liquor. Yeah, we dranked a lot since drinks was around 25 per.

Bar charges a about 25-30 per beer. KTV has a start up room cost of 700 and beer is 260 a dozen or 17 rmb per beer if you order 3 dozens.

Last minute change of plans means I have a couple days in Suzhou. I'll be staying nearing Shi Quan Jie. I did a quick read of the prior posts about the bars. No particular bar was repeatedly mentioned as the best so are they a dime a dozen or is there one standout?
There was also a mention of 150 FS BBS but no mention of location. Any more specific info on location available. I'm hoping they're within walking distance of shi Quan Jie.

I'll start off by saying that Shanghai is my least favorite city in China, although I've only spent a few days there and I wasn't able to "play" at all. But I'm flying in to PVG, so I think at least a couple days is warranted. My preference is very strongly for pick up bars, with outcall and maybe hotel massage distant second choices. I have no interest in BBS or incall massage. Just not my preference. I know Shanghai has Manhattan's, Judy's, etc, but I'm wondering what the options for bar pickups are like in Suzhou. From lurking on the forum here I gather there are at least a few bars where working girls hang out, and compared to what I read about the Shanghai bars Suzhou sounds a lot mellower (which I like). Between the two cities I have 5 nights so. 3 in Shanghai. 2 in Suzhou? Or 2 in Shanghai. 3 in Suzhou? I should also not that I have a strong preference for Chinese vs. SE Asian providers, and I understand the Shanghai bar scene is largely the latter. I don't know about Suzhou. Any input?

Is it me, or do I have a problem?Club red in Shangri La hotel is not KTV. Just normal hotel bar, so you won't find any working girls from there. About 200 meters from Shangri La is Downtown street, which is full of KTV's and clubs. And yes, you sure will find girl from that street, but price is very high. Don't expect that girl will go with you less than 1000RMB. I think 1500 is closer to normal price in that street, because it's it's very popular for Japanese business men's and they sure have money to spend.
If you're looking girl bars, you have to head to Shi Quan Jie. Thats bar street in downtown (about 10km's from Shangri la). Near Shangri la there is many BBS, where girls go with you, but at the moment most of the places seems to be closed? . Some raids might be ongoing?

I was in Suzhou last week and checked out the Shi Quan Jie bar street. BTW, if you getting there by taxi and don't want to mention the bar street for any reason, just ask for the master of nets garden. It has one entrance directly on Shi quan Jie and another one on a nearby cross street. The most bars are concentrated on both sides of the master of nets garden entrance on shi quan jie. There are a few further east down the street. The nets garden has evening performance of Chinese singing, etc, in the summer.
I was staying in a hotel for business, and bringing a girl back wasn't an option. What I was told by a bar girl was that most of the bars on that street had KTV type rooms upstairs, where you could get action if arranged privately with the girl. I got unlucky and went into one of the few bars without the upstairs rooms, named "the pub". A couple of good looking girls where there with no customers (around 8 pm, which is early) , but when I asked about going upstairs with me, they said that there were only pool tables up there. Very friendly, nice girls, offered to teach me dice but no pressure to drink. They asked me where I was staying (SIP) and it is possible that I could have taken one back there, but it seemed unlikely that they would be willing to part with one of only 2 girls in the bar, unless maybe the hotel was close by. I left and tried out a nearby bar called something like shiyuan. Very small downstairs bar, filled with BGs, many speaking some english. Wide variety of choices. I won't say what happened there specifically, but I left very satistifed. Hit the bar street a couple of nights. A nice advantage of that street is that you can go from bar to bar until you find something you like. Must be around 10 bars or so? But check out early on if they have private rooms upstairs if you are looking for possible action in the bar. I was told that it starts getting busy after 10, especially on weekends, but I like the early, uncrowded scene around 8 PM, when you have the pick of them all, to yourself. The bars don't seem to open until after 6, some later, so don't try mid afternoon.
The general scene at most of the bars is that a girl may ask you to buy her a drink when you come in, and then offer to take you upstairs for a massage and good service. A beer ranges from 15-30 rmb. I don't know what all the rooms look like, but the one I saw was a KTV style room with plastic covered seats / benches all around. Clean, but you end up doing it on the benches, which are wide enough. Also, the room door has a window into a dark hallway. Not completely private, but they seemed like they managed the place to ensure you weren't bothered. I was whispered 300 for a massage with HE. 400 for CBJ, or 500 for FS. Plus 100 for the house use of the room, although I was offered to skip the house fee in return for just buying the drinks for us all, which came to 100 rmb. The prices were probably negotiable, but they seemed reasonable, so I asked for 2 girls who liked to work with each other. Looks, maybe 7-8, but lots of friendly enthusiasm. Lots of joint participation and switching around. They switched condoms between girls. At I finished, they both gave me a decent massage. No hurry. Like I said, I probably could have negotiated for one to leave with me, but having the action all there in the bar was a big advantage, given where I was staying.

I've been in Suzhou for a little while now but have only checked out the Shi Quan Jie scene recently and not that keen on it. The girls were over greedy. I asked for an all night takeaway but they all flat rejected my 500 rmb offer or asked for ridiculously larger sums like 700-800. One was even asking for taxi money upfront! That wound me up a bit. It was like the original offer was totally ridiculous or an insult to them. I mean they weren't even all that in the first place. I got the same response in a few bars, They refused anything more than one pop only, or they tried to get me upstairs for a quick oil change; which I didn't want. This was even at 2-3am and there was no other customers there. Don't get the logic at all. So my brief foray into Shi Quan has been largely unsuccessful. I did however, have a few laughs there if nothing else.
I've tried a few of the barber shop girls and had mixed results there, but would probably prefer them to the chicken bar girls. At least there's no bullshit. I've also had a few tours of duty in the Philippines and Thailand and comparatively, the scene here is dire. The attitude of the girls was poor to say the least. There's no way I was would pay over the odds and not even be guaranteed a decent service. If I'm doing something wrong please enlighten me.

You may not notice that the coming change of the central government which leads to local government changes as always. I have to say from the hobbying perspective I didn't find it much fun. BBS and the types of bars along Shi Quan Jie (dives with farm girls in cheap cocktail dresses) just aren't the types of places for me, personally. There was one old fat hooker hanging out at the bar in my hotel every evening (always without customers, I noticed) , but aside from her and the Shi Quan Jie bar girls I didn't notice any other opportunities. My preference is for slightly more "upscale" settings and situations, so I'm looking forward to Beijing in a few days where I can visit Maggie's, Centro, Xue, etc. I'll be in Xi'an for a few days before that, maybe I'll have better luck there than I had in Suzhou.
BTW this report isn't meant to disparage the Suzhou scene at all, just reporting my experience relative to my preferences in case someone else might find it useful info. I honestly did expect a bit more from what I've read here, particularly of the Shi Quan Jie scene.

I have never seen a BBS (they will show up from time to time, but close very quickly) or a XiaoJie Bar in the "downtown" SIP area. Most BBSs start to pop up on the smaller streets as you head toward the ShiQianJie / downtown. You will see "callers" on electric bikes later at night trolling around the few bars in "downtown" SIP, but I would recommend staying as far away from them as you can unless you prefer to get ripped off in a serious way.
All in all, action is in SIP. It is expensive, not really obvious and kind of low-key, but it is there.

I think you may have misunderstood me. There is no bar called "XiaoJie" in SIP. A "XiaoJie bar" is simply the polite term I choose to use when referring to "chicken bars" or "girl bars".
I will be back in SuZhou soon (I am presently in WeiFang for work) and will sure to be of more help then. For now, I am afraid to recommend anything too specific because I have been out of town for a year and I do not want to mislead you (or anyone else). However, I have frequented many of the SPAs in the "downtown" SIP area in the past and have very rarely been disappointed. The prices tend to be higher (around the 400-600 range for 100 minutes) , but for me it was always worth the extra couple hundred to avoid receiving "reluctant service" or ultimately getting ripped off.
I am looking forward to getting back to SuZhou and providing more info soon.

After reading several recommendations I went to this massage place. I can definately say this is the best treatment I've ever received in China!
First was a nice, young, polite girl taking me to the room. I was asked to chose service from the a list she had, and I went for the RMB 268 option as I've read in this forum. The massage started with a towel first, later with oil. Back and shoulder were massaged before she consentrated on my lower part (from the back side). Later I was asked to roll over, and a nice happy ending was given.
The whole thing was un-rushed and with good service. Only thing I didn't get through was some "extra service". I asked the girl if she was willing to undress, or give me massage by her breasts, if I gave her a small tip (RMB 100) , but she wasn't willing to do that. Dunno what experiences other guys have at this place.

He told me to ask at the counter for the "special massage". Staff hardly speaks english though.

OK, so I finally figured out where the place is, there are 2-3 other spas on the same block so the tip about the elephant sign on the door was very helpful. I went in last night and I agree it was a great experience. Really nice gal and very pretty. She did some crazy stuff and it was quite enjoyable. Highly recommend it for 268 RMB. I even tipped her 50 RMB and she looked quite suprised and happy. I left very happy and will be back.

THere is a big lighted billboarde facing Renmin Street and a China Citic Bank on the corner. The sauna entrance is on this side street next to the bank on the forner. There is a menu board with numbers such as 198, which the guy at the desk said was for "anmo". He will you on the elevator. I did not venture to take one for the team, but this massage must have a happy ending. Let us know if a tip is required for HE. The "perfect Steet" bar girl scene is kinda sad andn desperate, but some like it. I used to before I got bronchitis and the financial crisis hit. I hit the CHeers bar to see an old acquaintance and later the Blue Lady. Suzhou needs more run and tug places like Shanghai.

I've spent a lot of time in Suzhou, but mostly in SND. Just before the expo the gov really cracked down and closed a lot of spas (my favorite). I've heard since then that they are opening again but I've never been able to verify that. After reading several recommendations I went to this massage place. I can definately say this is the best treatment I've ever received in China!
First was a nice, young, polite girl taking me to the room. I was asked to chose service from the a list she had, and I went for the RMB 268 option as I've read in this forum. Disclaimer: I crave anonymity, so I will not post any possibly identifying information within this report, given the increasingly public nature of the Internet. Furthermore, this is not only my first post on this forum but also my first experience with commercial sexual activity. Nonetheless, as many previous reports have stated, the actual storefront is quite hard to find, as there are several similar businesses on the lengthy boulevard. Although the note about the elephant definitely helped, the lack of any numbers or any permanent markers may mislead many other customers. I personally walked through the general location twice or thrice before confirming that I had the correct massage parlor. In any case, I have decided to provide somewhat comprehensive instructions to find the place once you are in the general area. Several reports have placed the &33487; &32483; &36335; massage parlor close to the Courtyard by Marriott. However, if you are expecting to spot the location from the hotel, you're out of luck. A far superior place to start would be the intersection of &26143; &26690; &34903; (Xing Gui Jie) and &33487; &32483; &36335; (Su Xiu Lu) , where you should see a major road (&33487; &32483; &36335. With segregated lanes running in opposite directions. Beyond &33487; &32483; &36335; , there should be rows of identical apartment buildings. To your left (west) , the largest storefront would be the New Island Coffee (NIC) , which you can identify from the hugely obviousatlogo. Head around the bend and keep the above-mentioned apartments to your right (east). This is where my plans temporarily went to hell. There were two different spa resorts, one directly left of the laundromat with the two elephants and one directly right. Both locations had unusually narrow storefronts and no obvious and permanent location markers. The "correct" massage parlor is the latter, the one on the right. There should be a metallic plaque left of the doorway listing different choices and selections (one with something about oil) in English. If you're approaching from the east, your most convenient location marker would be a large China Unicom store. Walk perhaps fifty meters past and you'll find what you're looking for. The second you open the door (a pair of bells hung on the door will clang) , you should find a slightly worn wooden staircase. Halfway up the staircase, a woman may or may not ask you to stop and conduct a cursory inspection from afar, probably to verify that you are a legitimate customer. From there, someone will lead you to a dark, private room with a massage bed and a tray table. Do not be surprised if you find an infant or a child. One of the women seems to enjoy bringing her children to work.
It has been a few days since I visited the &33487; &32483; &36335; massage parlor, so I will try to remember as much as I can from my experience. Once you enter the room, the masseuse should hand you a menu. Although I do not believe anyone else here has tried the lower priced options, the 268 RMB choice (the most expensive on the menu) will guarantee a happy ending. Last Saturday I went to 'guànqiánjie' and found a nice Chinese nightclub, dancing, beer, casual fun. Until about one o'clock.
After I went out a driver of one of these motorbikes, with two seats in the back, offered me a KTV-card (which I somehow lost later) and told me a happy ending massage for 38RMB. I should have declined at once, but this time I was too stupid / drunk. The price was too cheap, something must be foul. But sometimes I am too trusty.
The driver took me to 'shíquánjie' to an high (three or four floors) KTV-building with something that looked like a (707) with blue lights on the top. The exact location of this place is in about the middle of the street on the south side of this road.
I asked for looking and asked if it will cost anything. She said no. She said somthing about massage for 58 RMB, I said, the driver told me 38 RMB, she said ok.
Note for me: Change of the price is ok? It is surely a scam!
Up to a nice room, shown me a nice looking girl, . After asking three times for prices, I stopped and dumb and drunk as I was, believed. The girl wanted to sing me a song. He wanted 880 RMB and for 200 RMB I can make love to the girl. I had about 170 RMB left for spending, or I would have to go home walking (east SIP 20km). By the way, I was wise enough to seperate the money for the taxi and placed it somewhere in my trousers.
Now a discussion / talk of about 15 minutes followed in which I explained the situation. Was there for only 10 minutes, no one sang a song, they forgot to tell me the prices and I asked: all together, how much. No answer! He also wanted to see into my wallet, which I refused. I sticked to the truth, poor student, can't afford 1080 RMB, told him I thought was fooling / lying to me. And offered him 100 RMB for me free to go and no problem. 101 RMB not possible! First he made an offer of 440 RMB, than 300 RMB. I sticked to 100 RMB, because he is currently my Chinese teacher, smile.
At least he accepted, and for fun I showed him my wallet with no red ones left and I went out. Before that he wanted to see european money, which I didn't had. Of course If I had some, he would have wanted it.
Emotionally a very interesting time, because I wasn't really able to pay him more, so I was with my back to the wall. The only other option that came to my mind was getting out by force. A really interesting idea for a friendly guy like me. My guess is, that I would have been able to get out. 28years old, with a body weigh of 100 kilos and more than 10 years training in various sorts of asian combat, including the use of ashtrays and chairs as weapons against some small Chinese people! Chances would have been not so bad. Maybe my glasses would have been broken during the attempt to get out and these alone are worth more than the 1080 RMB. Is it worth that?

Afterwards I visited two nice casual bars in 'shíquánjie', drank two more beers teached someone a german game with dies. In total a nice evening!
I had an interesting first KTV-time, which I didn't want to miss. For nearly paying nothing my live had some action and more training in the Chinese language, totally worth the 140 RMB!
But to come back to the point 'Revenge'.

I can confirm the "Elephant place" is back open again. They have remodeled and have 7 or 8 rooms instead of 5 before. They have added a couple of extra shower rooms and the price is the same at 268 RMB for 100 minutes and HE included. Coordinates are 31. 31708, 120. 667544 for it.

The duration of the visit has shorted from 100 minutes to 90 on the 268 RMB massage. Also if you'll notice they blacked out the Japanese characters on the menu / sign outside the place. The lady I know there said they are turning away Japanese guys right now due to the tension with Japan right now.

Hi there,
I am often in SuZhou, and I always stay at Renaissance. Very nice hotel. I was there the first time 2005, and it is still like new. The massage offerings that they have do also include action in your own room; yes it is safe but also a little boring. I have also tried the different place with bath, funny rooms with funny equipment, getting washed from top to toe etc. Even three girls at the same time in one of those places. Cost some money, but there was hands and fingers everywhere.
The last couple of times I have been there I have taken another approach. Just for the fun of it. I have installed the app for my iPhone named WeChat. It is the new thing instead of QQ. Then I just look at girl nearby (the app can do that for you) and then just comment on many pictures of beautiful girls. Some of them reply, and 9 out of 10 that reply do it because they are after action / money.
It is a long game, you have to put much more work into it, than just go to 'The Elephant' around the corner, but it is much more fun to see if you can get one on the hook through WeChat. Most of the time I pay, but I have met with girls that was not in it for the money, and I did manage to get her back to the hotel, after I spend a couple dinners on her.
She was just beautiful. But I don't want to see the same girl too many times, I want to keep up the game when I am in SuZhou.
Please post if you have other nice places to go to close to Renaissance. I have been upstairs behind Papa Johan Pizza many times, getting washed, all inclusive many times! But that is closed now.
Anyway, please recommend some nice places and funny ways (if you have any)!

Your hotel is just next to real pussy market. Less than 5min walk. When you step out from hotel, just head to main street (changjiang Road.) , turn right and after couple min walk you'll see 4-5 BBS with at least enough girls to choose. You live near by, so they will come with you to hotel, but even they ask more, don't pay more than 150-200rmb for full service. That's normal price.

Just returned from Su xui street MP. First time since the remodel. Now they have two more massage / price options, thai and Japanese. Lu Lu suggested that the Oil.
Option at 268 was the best. Why wouldn't she. Lu Lu gave a good massage despite having an upset stomach. Didn't allow me to roam as much as #3 or #2 did in the past. She teased me forever before the very fine finish.
Hope the tip insures more roaming next time. She has a nice rack from what I could see and feel.

I was talking to my gal and she claimed that they give happy endings even for the lower price options. She also told me the girls mostly prefer to do this fast and let you leave if you are so inclined because they get the same fee off of the massage whether you take the full time or not. I've seen / heard guys go in and out of there in 10 minutes when they have a mind to, so I believe it is possible.
There is another place around the corner from the Elephant place that always has a TON of ebikes in front of it during the afternoon, it is not toward the coffee place but the opposite direction, you go to the end of the block but don't cross the street to the large mall, instead turn left and pass the DVD store and then to the corner there. It is the SW corner of the same large block as the Elephant place. My gal asked if I knew about that place because it was cheaper and also offered services. I may have to check it out at some point and report back.

And the girl they gave me was a solid 100kgs. Just to be sure, you are talking about the place right after the dvd place. That is where I went. There is also Dao Ma Dan on the corner, but that is a huge chain foot massage place with guys and girls getting massages. I can't imagine that is the place she is talking about.

I will soon relocate to Changshu. Maybe someone has experiences where to find no-ripoff massage places, and which places to pick up local gals (malls, bars,?)

I'm new to Suzhou but found many bbs establishments downtown. I just walked up an alley north of Ganjiang Xi Road just west of Renmin road and discovered at least 8 by roaming around the backstreets. Also, coming back from SIP on Mohe road, just south of Shiquan jie I noticed a few there as well. This I've found in my limited number of journeys so far, so I'm sure there's a lot more out there.
