With the budget of RM200, you can stay at Hotel Promenade. A 4 star hotel. There is a spa on second floor. Should be around RM95 for one hour massage and usage of the facilities which I think are limited. Usually pinoy gals.
Watering holes. Just around the road. Waterfront. A couple of pubs, restaurants. A decent area to hang around. BED is a huge disco and may get lucky if the timing is good.

I've read 12 pages of this thread and I think I almost understand the MP and FL scene. Although, I've got to admit that the abbreviations and language jargon is more challenging than most other ISG threads that I've been a part of.
I realize that many of you are being vague for a reason. I'm used to travelling in parts of the world where the scene is very open, and information is very detailed, and the guys all get together at favorite places.
So, my first problem is booking a hotel, or even picking an area to stay. Are there some places that mongers tend to gather. I'm probably looking to spend about US$40-60 per night, or RM140-210, and would like internet. Close to the bar scene, if there is a concentrated bar scene.
PM is fine, although I would think that hotel and bar info could be freely talked about. Looking forward to checking out a new part of the world for me and maybe meeting some members.

Promenade is a good start. You can try checking the in house spa. From rumours I've heard, lots of girl from the recently relocated spa is now working there.
Next is the street walker. You can normally see them at night around promenade & api-api area (the building at the back of promenade hotel). Some are worth checking out.
I don't think you have to be very discreet in spa as 90% of the customer there is looking for the same thing. But some discreetion wouldn't hurt.

There were a lot of other inexpensive hotels in that area. So, this is my contribution to future travellers that don't know KK.
