Hi guys.
Myself and another BM are meeting Pattaya late May and are planning to have an orgy style party on Vesak Day. We made enquiries at the Penthouse but are not fully happy with their replies regarding our requirements. Does anyone know of any 2 bedroom apartments woth a jacuzzi or spa that will book out for 2 nights?
Thank Rob.

On two occasions, I had problems in Pattaya for bringing in more than one guest (girl) to my room without additional joiner fee for the 3rd guest (2nd girl). I was alone but had the rooms booked for two guests, as always. Only at Penthouse, I was able to bring in two girls at my room at the same time without any additional charge. Having bitter experiences from the two occasions (one being Aya Boutique, other I don't recollect the hotel name exactly) I never tried this to other hotels except Penthouse.
Any suggestions from fellow mongers about hotels at the beach road or even at the second road, who would not mind a 3rd guest (two girls at the same time) joining at the room. I read through the last 5 pages but did not quite get the answer. Would appreciate your help in switching form age-old Penthouse to any new places for my next trip coming end of this month.
Cheers, TFE.2 girls in room without joiner fee for either is no problem in Sandy Spring hotel in Soi 13. They put 3 set of towels for the rest of the stay. Leave ID in reception. They call your room to hear that everything is OK when girls leave. Great service for in room massage from the massage parlor on the other side of the street.

It does look amazing. Would be great to see reviews.I rented that exact unit 3 years ago for about 2 weeks. It was through a different site back then. The room is huge. The master bedroom is large and master bath is way bigger than anyone needs. The 2nd bedroom is not large but has its own bath which is nice. The sofa was really worn out by too much sex so hopefully it has been replaced. Kitchen is surprisingly tiny for such a huge place. Their is a 180 degree balcony that has a view likely second to none in Pattaya. Girls love the place and run around everywhere taking selfies. They WILL NOT leave for days. Only downfall I remember from the place is there were a few ants in the closet area but that is one of the issues with the aging VT6 these days.

Cheers, TFE.This visit I have booked the Grand Hotel Soi 14 which is off Walking Street and in an email reply they said 2 girl no problem. I will re-read the email because I'm sure it may even say any number of girls. The Penthouse is great when you have a threesome but they want to charge of 810 baht per girl! A bit rich considering that only a clean towel will be required.

I will of course save this email to my phone and I tip for extra towels.
Just in case someone is considering Mercure, I got this email today.

Cheers.LK Empress is a girl friendly hotel and no problem of getting GF. Its on beach road and is quite near to action places like Soi 13/2, walking street and not far from Soi 6. Good choice of hotel and have a action packed holiday.

I fell for it and I should have known better. I was shown a credit card ticket to sign but on it was the price in baht (basically the one I'd agreed on when I booked online) followed by an exchange rate in euros, then a total in euros. The exchange rate was not a good one and this should have made me sit up and take notice, plus the fact that the employee told me it was an exchange rate "from the bank". It was the hotel's own poor exchange rate, nothing else. I was tricked into agreeing to pay in euros at an exchange rate at the hotel's discretion. That hotel employee had her little scam well-rehearsed. Lesson learnt.

Hope they offer Breakfast also for the visitor staying overnight, in case you booked room for 2 and staying single.

What did they get you for?A small amount since I had booked only 5 days, but it pissed me off because the exchange rate turned out 3% worse than the one given by my credit card. It's a indirect way of charging more for credit card payment and there was no warning of that on their website on booking.com.

MD.That depends on what action you like. If you don't mind staying in a noisy area with many beer bars and you want to be close to Soi 6 then you can choose Flipper Lodge or Flipper House.
If you like to stay in a more quiet environment and closer to Walking Street you can better choose LK the Empress or the Dynasty Inn. Both get good reviews here but the Empress is quite expensive. I think the Dynasty Inn is better value for money.

As I read the forum, I can put things together as:
1) Soi 6 are mostly bar that you can go ST upstairs of the bar with rate: BF 300 , for girls 1000, right? How about LT rate both BF and for the girls?
2) Walking street are mostly bars with Agogo dancers as that of BKK NEP & Soi cowboys. Any info as to the BF & for girls for St & LT as well?
3) massage parlour: During my long ago trip to Pattaya, I saw only few Massage Parlour as that in Rachadapisek in BKK, I wonder what location should I focus to cathered this portion for me?
I have only 3 nights to spend in Pattaya and thus so excited to plan my agenda there! I have not had any success Bfining in BKK As bars in NEP & Soi cowboy are so pushy on drinks and girls always looking for Jap customers.
Hope to hear more from you guys!
Thanks in Advance.

I presumed all hotels are girls friendly. Right?Don't presume. Not all Pattaya hotels are girl friendly. This may sound strange in sin city, but it is true. Some Pattaya hotels are absolutely NOT girl friendly and will charge a joiner fee for any girl not on the check in reservation like the Avani (former Marriott) for example. Other Pattaya hotels will charge a joiner fee on the 2nd girl if you take two girls back to your room at the same time like the Areca Lodge. And other hotels are completely girl friendly. (In addition, the amount of the joiner fee at the restrictive hotels varies depending on the hotel policy.) Therefore it is best to either check with the forum here on a specific hotel you have in mind, or go to a girl friendly info website like:
http://www.bargirlfriendlyhotels.com/pattaya-guest-friendly-hotels/
to see if your hotel is listed as girl friendly, or, and this is the most fool proof way to find out, email the hotel directly and ask what their policy is.

I presumed he was referring to the four hotels he already mentioned and those four are girl friendly.Yes, correct, what I presume is those 4 hotels I mentioned and definitely not saying all hotels in Pattaya.
Sorry for creating some confusion but appreciated for all your kind advises.
I am still searching the BF & girls in Pattaya in general for LT. I have seen some mentioned BF 700 and For girls is 2500? Is that correct? As I am a bit confusing. Will anyone give some info or Correct any mistakes on such rate I just mentioned. Thanks.

Yes, I only presumed those four hotels I mentioned And thanks for the link about girl friendly hotels but some of the data are way back 2015, will it be some of them change policy already?
By the way, can you advise the different between flipper lodge from flipper house? Which one is far better?
I like LK empress but it's kind of a bit expensive but if it will be far better in terms of location to action site etc, I don't mind paying a bit more.
I am always fantasizing taking two girls to my room that can really play together as sometimes or most of the time, they will not be interacting nicely and may be shy between them self that end up fucking one and the other one act as audience or hide in the bathroom until the deeds finished and even will ask to change condom etc.
Cheers,
MD.
By the way, can you advise the different between flipper lodge from flipper house? Which one is far better?Fiipper House is near 2nd road. Flipper lodge is near beach Road. If you're going for Freelancers on beach Road I'd pick Flipper Lodge, they just did some renovations on it too so it might be better. Either is a good pic and in the middle of beer bars etc.

Anyone know if the Inn House a good place to stay?
Thanks in advance. It is a girlfriendly hotel. You see their rooms category on their webside. Many rooms have only view to neighbour building. It is clean and prices are good. Got some nice offers via hotels.com and also booked on their website. Hotel on the other of the road. Sandy Spring is a little bit more expensive and has more rooms with seaview and pool. Some noise at night from Hooters. You can have the massage girls in same building of Inn House to come to your room for massage.

As in BKK outside the street of Nana hotel they quote Bhat 1000 for ST.I've always been quoted 1500 outside of Nana by the few girls I've asked, 1000 in Bangkok sounds extremely low even for girls by the Nana sign.
Hi all.
Can anyone tell me if the Baywalk Residence are extra girl friendly? Planning in stsying 2 nights one if them being Vesak? Day and I have a 3 way lined up as well as a 4 way. How liberal is their policy?
Thanks in advance and I will be reporting daily when I hit the ground in 2 weeks.

Maybe 1500 when you walk through Some 4 freelancers.
Depends on the f the night and negotiation skills.
After deeply thinking about the place the location and the quality of the room, I have decided to put my booking via Expedia at LK the Empress hotel. As I think I will spend night time at Gogo bar in walking street and look for my girls for the night while in the day Time I can take Bhat bus to Soi 6 for afternoon ST delights.
Even though some BM attested that LK the Empress is a girl friendly hotel and my booking at Expedia is for two person, yet I written LK the Empress a mail to confirmed if they don't ask or charge joiner fees whatsoever when I take girls stay at my room at night. After over a week of my mail, still till now they don't reply yet. I feel their customer service is not good.
I hope they reply as if not I may opted to cancel my booking at their hotel and instead booked at Flipper house that is my second choice.
Hope someone share more about their encounter in LK the empress hotel with regard to bringing girls at night.

MD.All LK properties are fully girl-friendly. You do not have to worry. In fact, if you do some reading here, you will realize that there are ways to get to your room with your girls without parading them past the reception. Good luck.
Also, in terms of hotel quality, I wonder how LK Empress and Flipper can be mentioned in the same sentence. That said, given your plan for day and night there are several other places to consider in between.

MD.I have stayed at the LK Empress the past three years and they are very guest friendly. Most quality hotels do not want to flaunt that guests are welcome for fear of trouble with the Thai government. I will stay there again in August. Like the majority of hotels that are guest friendly, they will take the guests ID when they enter and will call you if she comes down alone in the morning, to make sure you are alright. I have even had girls come up to my room, unescorted by me.
After doing some RTFF, I have the following options:
1. LK Renaissance.
2. Whitehouse condotel.
Which one of these would be a good find? Any expert opinions please?
Read somewhere the WIFI is not so good in Renaissance.
During my first trip to pattaya, stayed in P72 (right in the middle of walking street).
But like to move somewhere in the center to try other SOI offerings too.

But like to move somewhere in the center to try other SOI offerings too.LK Rennaissance is a wonderful property, but it has no restaurant for breakfast. The rooms are fantastic, very spacious, well appointed with all amenities one would want and more. Never had trouble with WiFi. There is a nice jaccuzzi tub in the room too. I have stayed here before and I do not think a restaurant makes a difference in Pattaya because you are never more than 20 meters away from great food anywhere. Plus I love the local cuisine.
Never stayed at Whitehouse Condotel before but I know some people who have. I am told the rooms are good, but the views are awful. The location is a winner if your haunts are Soi 6 and Walking Street.
Anyone stay at the Bett Pattaya Hotel before? It's a Hostel with additional Single Bed rooms, and I booked one for an upcoming weekend. Has good rating on Agoda. And only $57 for the 3 day weekend.
After doing some RTFF, I have the following options:
1. LK Renaissance.
2. Whitehouse Condotel I stayed at the WH Condotel for a few days last year. It is definitely a dated hotel but with clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast was good. Location is on a quiet street. It is neither close to WS not to Soi6, just in between which forces one to rely on the baht bus all the time. Most of the guests were old white men, many of them with golf kits.
The 4 Credit Card Rules to travel by:
#1 Always select the local currency when paying with a credit card.
#2 Only use credit cards that have a zero fx transaction fee.
#3 Except in an emergency, never use a CC to draw down cash from an ATM - only use a zero fee debit card like the Charles Schwab debit card, for example, to withdraw cash.
#4 Only use CC's that feature a 2% or more reward in points or miles like the Capital One Venture card for example. And do not forget when withdrawing money with a debit card from a ATM to always refuse the 'currency conversion'option. Sometimes they even ask you twice and change the options to the other side of the screen to still get you. Ridiculous but I do think 40-60% of people fall for the trick. On a 300 euro withdrawal it could easily be 10 euro difference.

Next screen then is the fee they'll tack on. My buddy did use a machine in front of a 7-11 and had that option come up so its possible its only the machines owned by the stores who are trying to get a few extra bucks that do this scam.

Me, too. I only use ATMs that are attached to bank branches, so that there is someone at the bank to help me if there is a problem. I've used these ATMs more than a hundred times and never been asked to select a currency conversion, and I've never had a problem.
My trip to Pattaya was with a friend, and what we ideally wanted was a place with 2 private bedrooms- so that we could still hang out in the same room and retreat to privacy when required. But we also wanted a proper hotel, a place that would check girls' IDs, so we did not consider Airbnb-type condos and apartments. And we also wanted something in budget. I couldn't find something that ticked all these boxes, but I did find the 'Penthouse Suite Poolside Room' at Hotel Zing for 1000 Baht per room per night. We took 2 rooms, one for each.
If I now look at the Hotel Zing room listings on the site I booked on, it no longer claims to have a 'Penthouse Suite Poolside Room' but at the time I made the booking it did make this claim. I'the tell you I research my hotels well and look at lots of photos and reviews, but I guess I'the be wrong because the 'Penthouse Suite' was no real suite at all. It was a basic room with an attached bathroom. In the current listing the hotel now calls this room the 'Super Deluxe Pool View Room. ' Still, the room was clean and had a fridge and TV, and it was right next to the rooftop pool- which came in handy if you read my reports in the Pattaya forum. So despite not getting a Penthouse Suite as we expected, my friend and I did not mind this place given the pool and price.
You also need to understand the hotel location well, for it explains the low price for the rooms. It's on Thappraya Road, far enough from Walking Street that though you may make the walk on a cool evening, on most days you'll need a vehicle. The tuk-tuk will charge you 20 Baht but that's when it's got passengers already and making a lot of stops- this is rare on Thappraya Road. So you're more likely to pay 50-100 Baht for an empty tuk-tuk just taking you to Walking Street. Cabs between these locations will charge 200 Baht, or at least at night.
If you're coming to Pattaya directly from Suvarnabhumi airport and book this hotel, get off at the last stop which is on Thappraya Road. If you don't have much luggage you can walk to the hotel. Do not count on the hotel breakfast at all, seriously. And of course- it's girl friendly. On our checkout day we had to checkout by noon, but we finally did at 7 PM and paid 1000 Baht extra for that. Thappraya Road and the area around the hotel is dead at night, no action. But there's a 7/11 right next to the hotel which is extremely handy and probably to blame for the amount of pints we gulped down during our stay.
Hi guys.
Feed back on both Hotels.
Grand Hotel 2 nights. Cheap and close to Walking Street. Probably overpriced at 960 per night. Crap rooms, beds on rollers so constant movement, hot buffet breakfast cooked night before and stone cold at breakfast time. Very girl friendly on night one 2 x 2 girls and no problems. Night 2 3 girls back to room and no problems. It is noisy but I wasn't there to sleep. Clean towels available at reception. Staff not really friendly but again does not worry me.
Mgallery. 3000 per night by 3 nights. On second road opposite Soi 13/2. Good location. Great rooms with comfortable bed. Good buffet breakfast. Good reception staff and good house keeping staff. Very girl friendly night 2 I took 4 girls back and no worries, I knew 3 of the girls and we didn't offer ID cards and they didn't ask.
Next time I will stay at the Mgalley again and I will probabky stay away from Walking Street Hotels all together.

Mgallery. 3000 per night by 3 nights. On second road opposite Soi 13/2. Is this the Baraquda?
Is this the Baraquda?Yes. A good option.
Staff not really friendly but again does not worry me.
.If I'm reading this correctly you took two girls at the same time the first night and then three girls at the same time the second night, is that correct? If so you have to walk right past reception to the elevators, surprised nothing was said.

On night 2 I bought back 3 girls and all 3 checked their IDs and 3 clean towels. No walking past or sneaking. No Charges.
Thanks.

No elevator! I was in room 104 so I used the stairs right at the reception area!

The tuk-tuk will charge you 20 Baht but that's when it's got passengers already and making a lot of stops- this is rare on Thappraya Road. Baht bus should always be 10 baht if you are going to walking street or as far as soi 1. There are stories of drivers possibly charging 20 baht if you go to naklua. Never ask a moving baht bus driver how much. Just hand him 10 baht as you get off.
I recall looking at hotel zing when I was looking for a hotel near jomtien for a few days but I passed on it because I came across some sites implying it was a gay hotel. Did you notice that?
Hi Guys.
This hobby is not stop haha. We are looking at alternative accommodation around Pattaya and my wingman stumbled across these hotels. The Sun Xclusive Hotel and the Swiss Restaurant and Hotel.
Can anyone give me any information at all about these properties? I'm not expecting much out of the Swiss being in Soi Diamond but I'm very interested in the Sun Xclusive. I'm looking for the obvious questions one would ask here like how joiner Friendly are they and any other tidbits like breakfast etc.
Thanks Rob.
Both hotels cost 500 thb so are for thone on a budget. Owl hostel says hostel, but it is a hotel not hostel. Both are on soi 9 off 2nd road. Bot are girl friendly.
Scandalic was about what you would expect for 500 baht. It is above a restaurant. The shower was weak pressure. The room was clean but still kind of grimy feeling. To get in at night you unlock the door into the restaurant and head to the back and up stairs. I saw a video of this place on youtube that recommended it. I would not.
Owl hostel is also 500 baht. It is much cleaner. There is someone in lobby overnight. The room is small but clean with good ac and tv. If you want a hotel for 500 thb I think owl hostel is as good as you will find.
Anyone been here in 2018? I stayed here about this time last year and it was GF with no fee. Hopefully still is! Also, have they updated their old tube TVs?

Hello friends,
First, I would like to thank all the senior members for Great information shared in this thread. With all the inputs and my requirements, I have been able to shortlist Dynasty Inn for my upcoming trip towards the end of this month.
While the reviews in this thread look Great, I am a bit concerned about the review in other websites. Could you please guide if there are any better properties around Second Street in similar budget (THB1200) which is guest friendly.
Would also need your recommendation if this would be the best location for someone travelling there for the first time. I am interested in the freelancers and GoGo Bars.
This is my first trip to Thailand and I am looking forward to a great week (3 days Thailand & 3 days Pattaya).
Any helpful hints you can share to make this trip worthwhile is highly appreciated. Please also share your recommendation for Hotels in Bangkok.
I will definitely share my experience and findings in this thread.
Thank you all.
SR.
I haven't stayed at the Dynasty in several years. Rooms were decent a few years ago but I can't tell what it looks like today. As you said reports here on the Dynasty are pretty good. IMHO Dynasty's location on Soi 13 at 2nd road is outstanding. Especially for a first timer.

Going on my first trip to Pattaya next month, Sept. 2-10. I'm staying at Penthouse for a few days (yes I know, it's a dump but I had to experience it once). But then I want to move on to another hotel. The options I'm considering are Holiday Inn, Hilton Pattaya, and Hotel Baraquda Pattaya Mgallery Sofitel. I saw some good reviews for Baraquda previously. Are all girl-friendly? Will they demand to see girls' IDs? Any have back doors where you can avoid the walk of shame past reception desk?
It is a pretty nice place. It is girl friendly. It is 950 thb for first floor. I think 2nd floor might be cheaper. 1st floor rooms have a small patio that has a lot of greenery around it. It is tranquil looking. They have a pool. I stayed in 2nd floor when I was here last winter. It is on the baht bus route to walking street, so easy to get there.
One of the benefits of posting here is it is a place for me to check what I did last time. I could not remember name of motel, so look up my old posts to find it. Sadly I did not review it before. It is a nice place and with the money, imo.

Thru daylight hours you may be able to have them exit thru the parking area at the back, but if the girls are WGs they would rather take the shorter walk thru reception. I wouldn't worry about the walk of shame unless you are trying pick up the receptionist LOL.
Anyone stayed here. Know its girl friendly and recently refurbished.
Any intell please. Esp noise related and breakfast.
Junior Suite or deluxe room ok for 10 day stay?

SR.If price is an issue, many cheaper small places within walking distance of Dynasty at Pattaya. Lek Hotel, across the street for less price and similar quality.
If quality is important, Whitehouse Condotel, upstreet from Dynasty, provides way better quality for same or marginally more price.
If price is an issue, many cheaper small places within walking distance of Dynasty at Pattaya. Lek Hotel, across the street for less price and similar quality. The standard room at the Dynasty is comparable to the standard back wing room at the Lek.
Dynasty is 1280 baht in low season and 1480 baht in high season.
Lek hotel is 1300 baht, all year long.
So the Lek is only cheaper in high season (Nov - Apr). Last time I stayed there my room was pretty worn out but that's at least 5 years ago, so maybe they have refurbished in the mean time and the quality is similar these days. Could be.
The standard front wing rooms at the Lek are only 950 baht, but they are small and are facing busy filthy noisy Second Street. And I doubt they have a chair (important for me).
If quality is important, Whitehouse Condotel, upstreet from Dynasty, provides way better quality for same or marginally more price.I've never stayed there but their superior room looks like a good deal: 1350 in low season and 1600 in high season. Although I don't like the chairs if the pictures on their website are correct. They look uncomfortable.
The other rooms at the Whitehouse are way more expensive and more luxurious than the rooms at the Dynasty.
By the way: there's construction work going on at the Dynasty until the end of October, so it's kinda noisy there in the daytime between aprox. 9 am and 5 pm. They are rebuilding the parking lot, the kitchen and some (all?) rooms in the back wing. They told me they are making connected rooms there. Maybe they want to change to a family hotel because they are fearing the end of Pattaya as mongering destination LOL.
Please be aware that the rooms at the adjacent Whitehouse Condotel that are facing the Dynasty are also noisy now!
However it was doable when I stayed at the Dynasty recently. And I got a 10% discount because of the noise.

I've tried Dynasty multiple times, thanks to Mogwai's recommendation, which was spot on. (Room at top and facing away from bars to avoid noise late night).
I tried the Condotel once; 1600, with breakfast, but larger and better rooms, and much better bed; the quirk is they have this old fashioned thing called a key, a large metallic cigar looking device which is used to open the doors, and which needs to be dropped off at the front desk at every exit occasion. The 300 differential is matched by value, IMHO.
Stayed in the Lek hotel myself for a week in August. I had a 1500 baht room in the 'newer' wing, upper floor with nice balcony. Spacious, and it had SOME refurbishment done (new flat screen TV) and was cleaned every day. The carpet looked a bit worn out. The main caveat however is that there was still an ancient AC unit which was noisy as hell when it went to AC mode, in particular spinning up. Also peeked in one of the cheapest rooms and wouldn't want to stay there. I suggest to check out your AC unit if you go to Lek Hotel.
Wouldn't go out of my way to stay in here but it was good enough for a week, good location, affordable and comfortable for the price barring that damn AC.
Do Airbnb. Cheaper for better quality if you know how to research. Use their ratings to get the best. Currently I staying in a 1 bedroom at Centara Avenue Residences for $45 USD. It comes with a kitchen to because I like cooking my own meals for the girls and a balcony I often fuck the girls outside, overlooking the pool.
P.S. That black thing next to the bear is a double vibrating cock ring with a built in vibrator for the girls who like double penetration. What can I say? I aim to please these girls.
Going to Pattaya for few days in November and all standard rooms in my favourite Baraquda are booked out. Many people recommend the LK Empress here, however, it has some crazy variety of different room types. Anyone would recommend a specific room type? Premier Sea View looks sort of nice, but I'm wondering if at 3900 thb / night its overpriced or is that within hotel's price range?
Thanks everyone for the replies!

Thanks everyone for the replies!I think there was a review on LK Empress (I think by IllusionHeart) a while back. And I think he had reviewed the Premier Sea View room. The entire hotel is very opulent and as BB points out the brunch is fantastic.
But I would consider $120 a bit excessive for a city like Pattaya which has several comparable options at a lower price.

But I would consider $120 a bit excessive for a city like Pattaya which has several comparable options at a lower price.I stayed in the Deluxe Sea View King Bed with Jacuzzi Room and paid about 90 a night. I was thoroughly unimpressed. Then again, it was 2012 when I stayed there. I had been to Pattaya about 10 times prior to that visit and always preferred Bangkok. Unfortunately, I disliked the 2012 visit so much that I have not returned to Pattaya even once since then. The hotels in Bangkok are a far better value and I think the girls are better in Bangkok as well. I had just stayed at the Bangkok Millennium Hotel (now Pullman) next to Soi Cowboy for almost the same price as the LK Empress. The Bangkok Millennium is far superior in every way (including having a much better buffet).
In my previous visits to Pattaya, I had stayed at the Penthouse Hotel, Sabai wing, Hard Rock, and various other cheaper hotels and I thought they were all better value for money than that LK Empress. I will say though that it gets great reviews on agoda, so someone likes it.
Stayed there October 2017. Paid under 100 euro. Good hotel, ideal location but don't count on the swimming pool to do fitness swimming. Girlfriendly one girl at a time.
Contrary to the poster below I think Bangkok hotels are (now at least) much worse value for money than Pattaya's. I aim for thr 50-100 euro range though, not the 100-150 range.

I don't think it's even possible to find a deal like that in Pattaya. I'm not sure they even have any hotels that nice in Pattaya, let alone for that price. Admittedly, I had to book that hotel far in advance with no refund possible, but it was great.
Try Whitehouse Condotel Soi 13.Good location. Decent price. Pleasant surroundings.
The Whitehouse Condotel would have been my overall favorite hotel in Pattaya except it doesn't meet 1 of my 2 important criteria. It's quiet, but the bed isn't that good. I can feel the springs.
There's different condos units there, but the rooms I got (the rooms constantly rented out) had the lousy beds.

Hello:
I am looking for a "second" hotel in Pattaya. Will not need the hotel for sleep, breakfast, quiet, or any of those things. Just need a private place, close to the action, that is CLEAN, roach-free, where one can feel comfortable undressing and spending a few hours, that's really it. Ideally it would be a place where there wouldn't be a charge for multiple guests at one time (just in case I get that urge or energy. LOL) I have been looking into the AYA Boutique hotel, heard they are pretty nice, but I heard that they are only girl friendly 1 girl at a time. The Penthouse looks like it might be a bit of fun, but I've heard reports that they were really a dump with bug problems. Flipper Lodge looks like it might be alright; does anyone know if they charge for more than 1 girl? Finally, I stayed at the Eastiny Inn long ago. I heard that they were in decline but recently I heard that they have now been renovated. Does anyone have any intel on that? Thanks for everyone's help in advance.
Regards,
JB.

Thanks for the suggestion of the Barraquda. As this is going to be my alternate hotel while I am in Pattaya, I was looking for something a bit more mid priced than Barraquda. Again just something decent, multi-girl friendly where one can feel comfortable spending time for a few hours here and there. Looked into short time hotels but any of those that I looked at were just too gross and nasty for me to feel comfortable spending time there. Thanks again for everyones help.

Maybe it's walkable to Walking Street but that side of Pattaya is hilly, so I think you have to make a detour and that it's quite a long walk.

Has anyone even experienced a hotel in the pattaya tourist area that isn't girl friendly? The intercontinental looks like a bit of a pain. I will actually be going to Pattaya for business. The company we are working with is in Chonburi. But the company a large multinational is popping for the intercontinental, so who am I to argue. This will be my first trip to Thailand, although I am long experienced at mongering in China.
As long as you can catch a cab in Pattaya late, the 200 baht isn't a big deal (being able to expense it LOL).
I prefer Semi-Pros and free lancers to fishbowls for some reason, just me. From the below I gather that some discos, where these girls go, will still be going after 3 in Pattaya? Also like Eastern European / Russian tail, I tend to break the Asians 6'4 230 lbs. Any suggestions on hunting those?

I stayed at the intercontinental with a friend of mine who does not barfine girls who was also in pattaya for a convention. It's only a 5 minute taxi from the Bali Hai pier side of walking street to intercontinental. Trust me no girl is going to say no to going to the intercontinental. It's a resort setup.Oh shit, that's easy money right there. Only 5 minutes?? Like what? 100 baht? Less?
would you go intercontinental or hilton?
Avani (former Marriott) charge 1000 baht if you bring a girl. It do not matter if you have booked a double room. Only exception is if you check in together.Let me correct you on that. You get charged 1000 baht if you are a dumb ass and take the girl or girls pass reception in the front. Take the girl or girls through the Benihanna entrance off Beach Road that walks through the pool and the garden if your room is in the Garden, poolside, or a Terrace Suite. Take the girl or girls up the elevator on the left at Dicey Reilly's entrance, if you have a sea view room. They also have two other entrances inside Royal garden Plaza during the daytime. Avani is a huge resort, not a rinky dink one way in, one way out hotel. I've stayed their countless of times and had no issues because I go exploring on my own and not just follow some of the advice on here. Consider this a free Monkeypaw Tip of the Day.

would you go intercontinental or hilton?200 baht seems to be the standard price for a short cab ride in Pattaya. Maybe even more because you're staying at an expensive resort.
It might seem nice to stay at a resort but personally I would be bored as hell in such a remote location. And you have the hassle of dealing with the taxi maffia all the time when you want to go somewhere. Unless you rent a motorbike of course but that has its pros and cons also (but more cons than pros if you ask me).
I would go for Hilton. Much much better central location and close to the most important baht bus route.

200 baht for a cab ride 2-3 times a day sucks but its not too bad considering price difference between hilton & intercontinental w / hilton being slightly pricier.
Oh well. I suppose hilton it is then. The pool will have to do. **snob alert** I don't like touristy / public beaches LOL.

There are no nice beaches in Pattaya. In Jomtien it's better but that's also remote. And touristy.

Sadly I only have 7 days. Otherwise ID find me a sexy thing and go out to koh kood or samui or somethin.
but honestly, my biggest problem is that i get stir crazy by myself. the complete opposite of my daily life where i love being alone.
prefer a location thats both good for encouraging girls to spend the night and perhaps a little throughout the next day if we click.
otherwise i'm just going to be lounging by the pool, tanning, smoking, drinking lol

Koh Larn if you like the noise and fumes of outboard motors, plus cutting your feet on razor sharp dead coral or glass shards.
I've read Jomtien's seawater is even more polluted than Pattaya's.

Since we are now talking about beach areas, I believe there is also a ferry from Pattaya to Hua Hin if you wish to experience a nicer beach, yes?
Anyone know of hotels where you can bypass reception and get two girls into your room? I know the sunshine hotel on soi 8 has a side entrance that allows for this but you have to be staying in the one wing in order to take advantage of this entrance. P72 has a large lobby and bar area, does anyone know if you can get past reception with two girls?

But of course exactly the night I had two girls with me there was a cleaner who 'caught' me and made me pay the joiner fee for having more than 1 extra guest. Just my luck.

What is the cost for the second joiner? I have emailed the hotel but have not heard back. Thank you!
Dream Hotel is an excellent place. It will remind people of the nicer vibe in some Las Vegas places. Guest friendly and right down the street from Thermae and the sexy street talent that hangs out outside. If you book it far enough in advance it is reasonable. If you wait until last minute, it can get quite expensive. I try to stay in places that are fun for sex. These rooms are made for fucking. Classy but sexy at the same time. The showers are awesome and made for fun as well. If I could afford it, I would stay here the whole time. I am staying here on the cheaper nights on my upcoming visit. There is another place I stay in BKK that is under $30 a night. It works for me. When the cheaper place's price goes higher than that, I stay at Dream Hotel. It is worth the extra money.

Can anyone explain how this works? I mean do they give you a 3rd degree when you walk in the hotel, or is it after a certain time. Or only foreigners with Thais?

Can anyone explain how this works? I mean do they give you a 3rd degree when you walk in the hotel, or is it after a certain time. Or only foreigners with Thais? No one blinks an eye in a guest friendly hotel. Girl may or may not have to drop her ID card at reception. Some guys appear to be a bit shy bringing home a girl in front of others and call it the 'walk of shame'. Some hotels have joiner fees but most do not. Best to check with the hotel or on here before you book. ALWAYS BOOK YOUR ROOM FOR 2 PEOPLE to avoid any possible issues. Some hotels have restrictions that a girl must be over 20 years old as I found out the hard way on my very first night in Thailand. If you stick to the hotels mentioned in this thread you're good to go.

No one blinks an eye in a guest friendly hotel. Girl may or may not have to drop her ID card at reception. Some guys appear to be a bit shy bringing home a girl in front of others and call it the 'walk of shame'.One of my fondest memories of Thailand was picking up a 20-something freelancer and riding the elevator with 3 older Indian couples. My freelancer was clearly a hooker wearing tight mini-dress (or was it hot pants?), low cut top, fuck me pumps, and tons of makeup. One of the older Indian ladies in the elevator couldn't hold back the smirk on her face. The three older men were all stone faced, but I knew they would have loved to trade places with me. When they all exited the elevator, all 3 women broke out laughing.
About a year ago I took two girls (together) to my room at LK The Empress. The front desk collected the two IDs and I gave a tip. Perhaps my tip was sufficient, but a joiner fee was never mentioned. I figure collecting the IDs is for my protection. I appreciate the call to my room before the girl leave with her ID.
I live half a planet away. This stuff doesn't embarrass me.

Easy to go in through the garden or shopping mall. But why are you sneaking around?Avani charge you 1000 baht for girl number one, even if you have booked for 2 and stay one person. Only when you check in together you do not have to pay.
I was struggling to find the perfect place / location for my NYE holiday at a fair price (waited a little late). I ran across a perfect reviewed place right in the heart of everything at a fair price. Nemo's will be my first guest house. From other sites I have gathered its guest friendly with amazing owner / staff. It's above a no-play massage place on the LK metro square. Does anyone have experience at this place? What was it like? The walk of shame never bothered me at hotels except when a unexpected joiner fee came due. This in my opinion will be the walk of shame on steroids which has me rethinking my booking. Walking past 20 massage girls 2-3 times a day with a different lady for a week is going to have me the talk of the shop right? LOL. I probably shouldn't care but curious if anyone had experience here. Is it as bad as it seems? Surely, they experience this daily right? Wouldn't be much much different than me seeing the post office drop off load of mail each day right? Trying to convince myself here LOL.
Does anyone have any intel as to whether the Aya Boutique is guest / girl friendly? Thanks.Yes totally girl friendly no issues.
From personal experience I recommend the Hilton and McGallery Baraquda as very girl friendly. No issue having a few girls in the room. Thinking if trying somewhere different on my next visit. Looking for a place that has no issue with 2-3 girls at a time.

It was a perfect location for me. Right in the middle of everything bet yet pretty quiet rooms. Your dates will determine if it's within your budget. I've seen it vary quite a bit. I stayed in the suite with the balcony facing the beach. Very clean, great service and great view. Pool is ok. I'm not big into pools. I like the pool bars more than anything and that they didn't have. I would be staying there again on my upcoming trip but prices are crazy around NYE. Most of everything is close to double or booked. I think I found a diamond in the rough with Nemo's guesthouse.

I've been noticing a lot of Airbnb listings in Pattaya and the vast majority of them look like entire decent condos. I've stayed at quite a few Airbnbs but only in North America. The Pattaya Airbnbs seem to average $20-$30 per night, again for entire condos.
Just wondering what the experience has been like for guys who stayed in Airbnb properties in Pattaya.

Just wondering what the experience has been like for guys who stayed in Airbnb properties in Pattaya.I rented a house with a pool through Airbnb in Pattaya Bon Kai area last year and everything went as planned. No different from my Airbnb experiences in Europe. You might already be aware that two court rulings have found Airbnb operations being against the law in Thailand but looks like apartment owners are taking their chances and continuing to offer apartments for short time lease.

Just wondering what the experience has been like for guys who stayed in Airbnb properties in Pattaya.I used airbnb 3 times in Pattaya, always at Unixx Condo south Pattaya. Nice and new one bedroom (small, only 34 smq) fully furnished, everythings worked fine, good wifi, some apartments have an amazing seaview. 2 swimming pool, small gym (very limited equipment), sauna.
Last but not least you can take all the girls you want back at your apartment without any control, no reception, no ID check. So no extra fee if you want a threesome, foursome, etc. Just not disturb your neighbors. There is also a back entrance from parking lot if you want avoid the walk of shame through the hall.
The swimming pool at ground floor is often overcrowded with family and children. Both swimming pool are not well positioned if you like a good sunbath.

Question: I will be staying again at the Sandy Spring Hotel in February, but this time instead of heading to Pattaya after a few days in Bangkok (where I have always changed my currency on Suk near Soi 11) I will be schlepping to Pattaya directly from the BKK airport. Since I have never had to use a cambio in Pattaya before, I never paid any attention to where they might be, and which have good rates, etc. Or will it be better to do the baht in the Poom after arrival (may not be open at 1 AM though.).
Any information is much appreciated. TIA.

TT money exchange with the yellow signs is generally close to or the best rates. They are all over the city. Best not to use the ones nearest a high traffic tourist area like walking street.
If you're arriving at 1 am change what you may need on your first night before traveling. Taxi, girl, barfine, drinks, food, 711, etc.

Any information is much appreciated. TIA.Try to get an ATM card at an investment place such as Fidelity or Schwab. They will give you a better exchange rate and will reimburse all ATM fees. The airport has many ATMs inside, if I recall, they are 1 or 2 floors above the exit where you catch a taxi. Open 24/7.
Correction, Areca only charges if you have more than 1 girl at the same time.

Airport moneychangers all have rates set lower than you will get at Pattaya moneychangers. Only exchange what you need at the airport to get you to a Pattaya moneychanger.

Only exchange what you need at the airport to get you to a Pattaya moneychanger.No. It has been written several times, if you need to exchange at the airport just go down to Floor B next to the ticket machine for airport rail link, there are 5/6 exchange boots Superrich Thailand, Super Rich 1965, Value+, etc with very good rate, same rate that you can find in town. Opening time varies from bank to bank 5:30/6:00am till 10/11:30pm
Correction, Areca only charges if you have more than 1 girl at the same time.Thank you for the info.
Airport moneychangers all have rates set lower than you will get at Pattaya moneychangers. Only exchange what you need at the airport to get you to a Pattaya moneychanger.Big fat Besty on YouTube just did a video on this a month or so ago. It's been said the ground level money exchange rates are just as good or better. I believe he showed they had better rates on ground level vs tt in Pattaya.
I usually have taxi take me to super rich in Ratchamadri Bkk. I was setting up my pick up over the weekend and she stated super rich in Ratchamadri closes for a few days at end of the year. She stated super rich on ground level has same rate and lady taxi driver will take me to it. I will report back on my findings. I'm curious if Big fat besty just hit it on a good day because I always have been told to wait until Pattaya or Bkk exchange due to bad rates at airport.
Hi,
I am considering Areca or LK Empress for my upcoming trip in Feb. Which one would be better. How about their guest policies. I read quite a lot on LK, but don't see any new one on Areca here.
Appreciate any help here.
Thanks. No complaints about either. Slight edge to LK Empress. Rooms there are nicer, and I recall slightly preferring the breakfast. Rooms at Areca are clean but very basic. I'd weigh the choice mostly on LK Empress being easier to get back and forth to walking street, versus Areca being in an otherwise more interesting area (lots more bars, restaurants, street food, massage places, and everything else around Soi Diana and adjacent streets). The side entrance makes LK more discreet when returning with guests.
I am talking about all of the banks like SCB, Kasikorn, etc, that exchange cash, like you will find just after immigration and before customs. And also outside of arrivals and throughout the terminal. These all have lower rates than their exact same exchange booths that you will find in Pattaya.

I'm curious if Big fat besty just hit it on a good day because I always have been told to wait until Pattaya or Bkk exchange due to bad rates at airport.A "good day" it has nothing to do with higher rate at exchange booths at Suvarnabhumi Airport Floor B. Superrich, SuperRich 1965, Value+, etc always have a very good exchange rate and you can check their rate on their website. It's already some years that these exchange booth at Floor B operating with a very good rate.
Just check the website now: Value+ Siam Paragon branch exchange 37,10 for euro, Value+ Suvarnabhumi branch 37,15 for euro, Vasu Exchange Sukhumvit Road 37,15 for euro. These are the exact rate that you will find on the ground.

If you take money out of an ATM at Suvarnabhumi then it will be the exact same exchange rate as out of an ATM in Pattaya (or anywhere else in the country). But cash is different.
If you hand over 300 Euros cash at the SCB exchange booth at Suvarnabhumi then you will probably get around 5% less baht than you would by exchanging the exact same amount at the TT exchange booths around Pattaya.

I stayed there last April. It's a nice hotel although a bit worn down, it could do with a good going over with paint and varnish. I was not impressed by breakfast as there was little western food which I prefer to start the day. The rooms are nice with a fridge, kettle, armchairs and desk. The bathroom had both shower and bath with a big opening screen between the bed and bathroom.
The problem is the noise! There was a beer bar blasting out some drunk singer every night until 4 am. It was so bad that I won't go there again..Looking at their Facebook page, it seems like they have renovated the hotel. I wonder if they have double glazed the windows.
Dear friends, I go to Pattaya in March.
I was 2 years before in Pattaya in the Siam at Siam design hotel, but now maybe I want to stay in the E-outfitting boutique hotel.
It is much cheaper, but I don't know if this is a good choice. They have a very large room of 55 m square, for a lot less money. But what do you think of the hotel? And is it guest friendly? I have been looking all over but I did not found any information about this guest friendly item.
Many regards.
So my cheap booking at nemo's guest house was canceled due to owner overbooking. I ended up having to book some expensive room a royal cliff beach hotel. I didn't have time to research much since I was left out on the street with most hotels booked.
I found some reports from 10 years ago about a 600 baht fee which is kind of irrelevant at this point. I take it that's times 2 for 2? Other sites saying they can't stay overnight. Is this true? It would seem pretty wide open downstairs. Surely, one could walk in like a group and be just fine. Maybe not...
Anyone have experience with this hotel? Guest friendly? Seeing mixed reports on internet. Give a guy a tip please.
The place is freaking amazing with a price tag that follows. As stated in earlier post I was forced into this hotel due to being left out on the street due to overbooking at Nemos guesthouse. The place is guest friendly. No joiner fee. Report on other sites stating no overnight are false in my experience. With that being said I told my guest to walk in like my wife. If a lady walks in with hooker attire the story may be different but honestly I think that would even pass. Never had anyone ask anything. Just walk in like you own the place.
Looking to stay as close to Soi6 as possible. Neither hotel returned my query about being guest friendly. So a little nervous about booking. Any thoughts?
Amari Nova suites is what I really liked. However is there motorbike taxis that can take you from second road through the alley rather than do circles on beach road?
Thanks!

Sorry for any inconvenience caused by our tardiness.
Yes, but I am interested in "At Mind Serviced Residence" and "Centara Pattaya" both of which are closest to Soi 6.Rather than have you wait for our slow and lazy friend Rob Jones, I can positively confirm At Mind Serviced Residences is girl friendly. A friend that stayed there last fall and he had different girls with him overnight. Like most hotels, they may not allow two girls at the same time. It looked like a nice hotel but it is just a bit off the beaten path. Sorry I don't know about Centara Pattaya.

The Centara near Soi 6 is also girl friendly.
Hard Rock Hotel and Centric Sea would be 2 other options very near Soi 6.
Have you looked at the Queen Victoria Inn? It is actually on Soi 6. Guest friendly.I thought that Queen Victoria Inn on Soi 6 had closed down. Am I mistaken or have they re-opened?
I can positively confirm At Mind Serviced Residences is girl friendly.Thank you very much Allover. I ended up booking At Mind Serviced Residence. They did not respond to multiple emails and neither did Centara Pattaya and Agoda messages went unanswered as well, so I had to get some feedback before booking. On the contrary Amari Nova Suites answered affirmatively within a few hours on their joiner friendly policy however it was just a bit off soi 6.
Though there are many websites out there that list girlfriendly hotels and both hotels were indeed listed on them.
On a side note, I stayed in WH Condotel last time (which also happened to be my first trip) based on your feedback and was satisfied. Not a modern hotel but very quiet and and that was important for me. Hopefully this time works out as well.
The Centara near Soi 6 is also girl friendly.
Hard Rock Hotel and Centric Sea would be 2 other options very near Soi 6.Thanks BB. Hard rock seems to be for the late night party owls which I am not. Centara was the closest to corner of Soi6 but many reviews indicated they put all Indians in one block. Enough said!!
Does someone have any tips for specific AirBnB places or at least the condo buildings? I've seen discussion about airbnb few pages back but I don't think specific places were mentioned. My next trip is going to be on a tight budget and I'd prefer bigger chunk of it to go towards supporting Isaan economy, hence wanted to save on a hotel.
And has anyone actually stayed in Chada Thai house? The price seems very decent (like 1300 thb / night), it doesn't have pool but seems like location is good, rooms are big, balcony, etc. They confirmed they are GF (no joiner fee), but I've only found a report about that hotel on this forum from like 10 years ago.

Getting into the 20/ nt range doesn't really help that much budget wise and is a definite step down.

Hi,
I am coming to Pattaya next month. I have my stay booked at Baywalk Residence for a day just because it is near to the beach. How is this place for guests.
I have couple of days at Areca also as I got some good deal there.

Or hotels where you don't have to walk through the main lobby past the front desk?

KY, for guys who want to bring multiple girls to a room rent a place through AirBNB. A condo like The Base is very centrally located and is AirBNB central.
Titto, Baywalk and Areca are both girl friendly. Do you really want to switch hotels in the middle of a short 3 day stay? Both hotels are good, near or on the baht bus route. Unless you wan to hang out at LK Metro I'd choose Baywalk over Areca.

Asking for a friend. If you mean Walking Street as close to the action I know that the Grand is very liberal with joiners and have towels at the bottom of the stairs that you just deal out to the girls as you enter. I do not know about 4 but I had 3. The Baraquda Mgallery on Second Road near Soi13/2 has let me take 4 girls to my room with out a blink of the eye. Again near Walking Street is the P72. If you book in the new section of the hotel I think you could take 4 girls up to your room as there is no reception on that side of the road but extra towels will cost you 100 baht each from memory.

I am planning my first trip to Thailand. I will land in Bangkok and immediately leave for Pattaya. Sometime in the April to May window, I think.
In preliminary research I have been unpleasantly surprised how expensive Pattaya has become. Number shows average apartment cost in the city over 500 USD.
I am on a strict budget. I need information on cheap hotel rooms in or near (within 15 km) of Pattaya. Specifically I will be looking for a clean, basic room with good bed, not real noisy good air conditioning and good water pressure / shower. Private bath only and honest management. I want something no more than 500 Baht. I can go to 650 B, but I'd rather not.
I also need to know the cheapest, comfortable way to get from BKK airport to Pattaya, without a lot of walking.
The mongering part I can handle, having had enough experience in this area. I prefer freelancers and making a deal directly with the woman, no managers. A general idea of where to look would be nice to know, but the above two questions are the most important, especially the hotel / guesthouse, etc. No hostel dorm crap. Private room with bath only. No AIRB&B.
In return for this information (which I probably can get from internet searching but thought I'd ask here first) I promise to give a full detailed report with prices on everything.
OK that's about it. Thanks in advance for any useful info.

I was wondering if any of the distinguished members of this Board have stayed at the Amari Hotel recently? (The big one on Beach Road. Formerly the Amari Ocean. Not to be confused with Amari Nova or Amari Residences). If so, would you recommend it? I've read that it has been extensively renovated, but also that there has been major construction (and noise) around the area. I emailed the hotel to ask whether the construction has finished (and if not when will it finish), but they haven't replied yet. It appears to be rated as a 5-star hotel, but some reviews have suggested that is a bit of an exaggeration.
The alternative I'm considering is Baraquda Suites. I've stayed at the Baraquda before, therefore I already know what it's like, but if you have an opinion of both I would be very interested to hear it! I appreciate that the Baraquda's location is superior, but I don't mind that so much, because I need the exercise!
By the way. The other places I have stayed in Pattaya on previous visits are the Hard Rock, KTK Regency and 'At Mind'. The Hard Rock was OK (especially the pool), but this time I'm looking for something a bit quieter; the KTK was OK for the price but the air conditioning was only just adequate; and the beds in the 'At Mind' were a bit too hard for my taste.
Finally I'm assuming the Amari is guest friendly, but if anybody has information to the contrary, that would be a deal-breaker of course!
Many thanks to everyone in advance.

I'm assuming the Amari is guest friendly, but if anybody has information to the contrary, that would be a deal-breaker of course! I would not assume the Amari Pattaya (formerly the Amari Ocean) is GF. I had heard the Amari Ocean charged a joiner fee on girls that are not signed in at check in or not on the reservation. I might be misinformed. Email their reservation department and find out one way or the other.
I know for sure that the Holiday Inn next door is definitely GF and very quiet. They have a really nice infinity pool facing the ocean and a separate kiddy pool on a different level altogether. You can invite your girls over for an afternoon pool party. The rooms are nice and airy, all come with balconies. If you join the Intercontinental Club before you book, you will receive a room upgrade if available at check in.
At a significantly higher price, the Hilton (GF + nice pool) is worth considering, although my personal favorite Beach Road Hotel since the Avani (the former Marriott) became not girl friendly is the Wave Hotel. The Wave is a fantastic, small, very GF boutique hotel. Rooms are really nice there. If you want to splurge a little, you won't go wrong at the Wave. I highly recommend it.

Yes I believe you are right about the joiner fee at the Amari. I didn't ask them about it, but I have since found it mentioned in posts elsewhere on the net by searching for 'joiner fee' - previously I had only been searching for 'guest friendly' or 'girl friendly'.
I checked out the hotels you mentioned, but one thing I had neglected to clarify was that I was looking for a 1-bed suite rather than just a room. The Wave looks very nice but I ruled it out on this basis because they haven't got 1-bed suites (as far as I can tell). The Hilton looks excellent but is too expensive as you said. And for some reason I'm not a huge fan of Holiday Inns, perhaps because I've stayed in so many on business over the years!
The upshot of all this is that I've booked the Baraquda again. It's certainly not the cheapest and there are a few reviews that say that it looks a bit 'tired' these days, but overall the recent feedback is positive.
By the way, if anyone is interested the Amari replied to my email enquiring about the state of the building work. They said it's due to finish at the end of March.
All the best.
Thank you BB. I wanted to stay close to beach and hence checked on Baywalk. As you mentioned, I am also thinking to continue with Baywalk for the whole trip. Thanks a lot. I stayed at both Areca and Baywalk as there no availability on certain dates. Both are good hotels and GF friendly (one at a time. Joiner fee for more than one). Baywalk rooms are really nice but breakfast is basic but compensated by the ocean view. Nice staff and easy check-in.

VT6 is likely the most discussed place to stay in this thread. Maybe not so much recently. Great location beside Central Festival and access to both Beach Road and Second Road. It is an old building. Be wary when booking this place I have booked it once and it was a scam site. Honey is legit though with an office on the ground floor. Girl friendly. It is a condo not a hotel. They will collect the girls ID card if you wish but no confirmation call. The girl just picks up her ID and leaves. Be wary that a small percentage of girls may not go with you to VT6 as they are concerned this is home base for the Pattaya Flying Club.

I'm joking about the Flying Club but guys have been known to take the leap from VT6 in the past. Don't let that deter your choice of VT6. It was one of my go to places to stay before I moved here. However, I used to rent the 100+ sqm 2 bedroom rooms.

Cheers!VT6 is nicely located but hit or miss as the units as each are individually owned, and even though centrally located, it seems isolated (it's a big concrete building with nothing around it). Some units have amazing views. Also, you can avoid the ID card thing if you enter through the freight elevator in the garage. Honey's is reliable.

Hello dear friends,
I am desi.
Friends I need some info regarding my travel to Thailand in mid June!! My company has booked my hotel citrus grande Pattaya.
Guys please tell me if this hotel is guest friendly or not? When I emailed the hotel they said they only allow extra guest only if I book this hotel from their website? I will be booking the hotel on double occupancy but now I don't know what they will do!! Any suggestions on the nearby hotels so that I can take the girl there if possible.
Hi guys,
I've read back 15 pages but no mention of Travelodge, is it GF?
Thanks.

Do an advanced search and you will see the answer is yes.The best way to search for something is to do a 1000 Page print (not to actual printer) and then use a normal text search in that.
The forum search function is not easy to use really.
