I stayed at the Blackwoods hotel on Soi 7 for the first time and really enjoyed it. It's a newer hotel and the price is reasonable. About $60.00 usd a night. Not only is breakfast included but so are the drinks and snacks left in the room. Basically two sodas and potato chips and rice crackers. House keeping was on top of things. I would go to breakfast and by the time I went back up to brush my teeth, the room was done. Laundry was cheap. For one tee shirt the cost was $40 baht. In Bangkok, for the same tee shirt the cost was $178 baht. Location was great for me. About a 10-15 minute walk to Soi 6. 15-20 minute walk to LK Metro. Easy access to the baht bus for a trip to Walking Street. This has become my favorite hotel in Pattaya. How was the pool?
How was the pool?It was your nice typical roof top bar.
Tried uploading photo but had some trouble. Hopefully this works.
Thanks! After reading the forum, I've booked my stay at Blackwoods for next February. $68 a night for refundable fare. Looking forward to my first ever trip to Thailand. I will be newly retired at 65, but not new to mongering in the US. I'm hoping to be blown away! {pun intended}.

I wonder what to make of this. I asked reception and the only thing they could tell me was "for room discount".

Tell them to stay home and work some more so they can afford nicer lodging. Also tell them to save money on the pussy and use it to get a decent room and treat themselves to a good meal.
Jump up to just $75 USD / night and enjoy a lifestyle others only dream of living. Send me a PM for more detail and any questions. Got no dog in the fight. Only sharing good information about an excellent stay I am having there. Get that refund after you book in View Tally 6.
$68 for a hotel in Pattaya is overpriced.2000 for ST is over priced but some of ya'll pay it. I prefer to pay 1000 for ST and buy myself a good meal or fuck twice as much.
ManLaw 101 says: No grown man tells another grown man how to spend their hard earned money or who they should be fucking.
MikeNm Has spent his entire adult life working hard for his money. He deserves to spend it how he chooses and without comments from Cheep Charlies in the forum. Congratulations brother! As long as it fits your budget, then live it up. Live is short. Live well!
Laundry services right in the building. Go down stairs in my pajamas. Drop laundry off. Pick it up the next day and pay. Very inexpensive. I like to contract out the things in my life I don't like to do. When you have the money, you can do things like that. Especially at the prices being charged. The service fee for washing, ironing and folding are so reasonable I tip 10% every time.
Cheep Charles don't even respond to my posts. Man Law 101: no man ought to be telling another man how to spend his hard earned money nor who he should be fuck. You spend you money how you want. I will dowhatIlike. I can afford to send my money out cause I am not paying 2000 THB for short time. ROTFLMAO!

Hi guys I'm a first timer to Pattaya. Have a short 3 day trip coming up and was reading up on where to pick my hotel.
I really like LK Empress but am concerned if it was a somewhat out of the way at soi 12. Will I have issues bringing girls back due to the distance? I see a few people bring up that girls don't like to travel far.
Should I just choose a spot closer to soi 6?
And small question about LK Empress. Are they hard on the 20+ rule? I don't think this is really a deal breaker but curious why 20 and not 18?

And small question about LK Empress. Are they hard on the 20+ rule? I don't think this is really a deal breaker but curious why 20 and not 18?Not sure but they now want you to go down to front desk to sign each time. Before, they just called you on the phone and your visitor showed up at your door. Bringing back girls is quick (Baht bus on Beach Road) depending on how far down Soi 6 is the bar.
Areca Lodge had me walk all the way to front desk as well, but I remember the form I signed saying "no visitor under 18".
You can rent a condo at "The Base" wayyyy cheaper than that and they have a rooftop pool with nice view. Don't pay Western prices for ANYTHING in the East!Hey man, would you need to do at least a month in advance to get the lower prices? And what site do you do this on? Not Abnb?

It's what I have always done and costs next to nothing.
I thought it was standard that tourists in Pattaya get their laundry done by a shop. It's what I have always done and costs next to nothing. No my ISG brother. It is not standard that tourists such as yourself in Pattaya get their laundry done by a shop. Be a real man like me and get your Thai girlfriend to do it. Oh shit, that requires the ability to find and game regular girls. You up for it?
In all seriousness, my Thai girlfriend insists on washing the towels herself that we mess up during sex between ourselves and our threesome partners all weekend in our new hotel. We did not have such problems in View Talay 6. And that is one of the reasons it is the bomb. But it's not for Cheep Charlies that ani't got that stack like I do.
By the way, what is your hotel recommendation, or do you just want to talk about how laundry is done in Pattaya?
Just spent 10 days and nights in Pattaya and these were my findings / experiences. This is mainly Gents Clubs based.
This was the 4th time for me in Pattaya and finally I found my bearings sufficiently that I didn't need Google maps as much as previously. It can be a bit of a maze. I decided this time that my fitness regime to support my mongering should be that I walked to every venue and I mean every one including the ones in Jomtien from Pattaya! I'm not sure what ached most at the end of the 10 days my dick or my feet. At least only the feet had blisters! It goes without saying that I did not have sessions in every place I went to - not least as that would have been physically impossible in the 10 days. But I wanted to see a lot of places this time.
Walking Street.
I've never been a fan. It is incredibly loud, people are pushy and it is really busy. Compared to other areas it is all very brash and pushy. For sure some of the agogos have pretty girls (Pin Up possibly the best of those I visited but I did less than ever preferring to spend my time away from the noise and hassle of WS). If you've never been to Pattaya you must do the walk up and down at least once but I can honestly say that I doubt I'll ever visit it again! Ignore the "Russian girls" signs in some of the bars. I witnessed one girl who was from Romania dancing on a pole (I asked her when she came off and conversed with her in my broken Romanian). Not Russian and I doubt if there are many if any.
The infamous Windmill Club.
Just off WS in Soi Diamond is the notorious Windmill. Again, if you've never visited it is worth it at least once just to watch the debauchery. From the moment you enter you will be confronted with a lot of naked girls, some receiving DATY, others touching each other up, many with tits and every orifice in customers' faces. Quite the sight! The girls are hoping they'll be bar fined but any mystique is gone!
Agogos.
I preferred the agogos around the LK Metro area though Playgirlz on Soi Buakhao was my favourite. Kink is the LK version of Windmill. Girls located in "pits" totally naked who will openly spread their legs and invite your fingers, hands, and if you were crazy enough mouths (God knows how many tongues visit their pussys in a night / week / month!) But there are some reasonably good looking girls in Kink though I didn't see anybody over 7/10. There are lots of agogos in LK much all the same, though tame compared to Kink. But as stated, by far the best IMHO is Playgirlz on Soi Buakhao. It unquestionably had the best looking girls I saw in clubs / bars in Pattaya indeed it probably had the top 5 best looking girls I saw in bars / clubs. Despite this I didn't bar fine any of them I prefer to have my fun onsite if possible rather than bring a girl back to the hotel. There are many destinations on the sex travel map where bringing the girl to the room is almost compelled (Dubai other than the AMPS) so when its possible to have fun on the premises I prefer it. Whilst that's not possible in most agogos, it is in GCs and many other bars (for example Soi 6 which this time I decided to miss as I much prefer Sois 7 and 8 which are far more chilled). I say not possible in "most" agogos I am not aware of any private rooms in any though I'm sure the more experienced Pattaya members will know of some.
Gents Clubs.
I spent the majority of my time this time in Gents clubs. In Pattaya, I visited, in no order of preference, Heave Above, High Rollers, The Den, Buzzin Lounge, Maggie Mays, Kings, Club Fate, Red Hot and Blue, Escape, Eden, Octopussy. In Jomtien / Pratumnak I visited Seahorse, Kit Kat, Catflaps, Venom, Cobra Bar, Hunny Lounge. I decided against Pussy Galore and Camel Toe just based upon logistics a bit difficult to get to and from or out of the way especially when walking everywhere! Last year my favourite GC was High Rollers 2 good pool tables, lovely staff and enough decent looking girls including my favourite Aom. I spent several nights there then. This time, I was disappointed in HR. Aom still there but no longer looking the fresh girl of a year ago. I decided, only having 10 nights, to try to avoid returning to any given club too many times given the many options available. I returned to Club Fate twice. My first visit to Club Fate (Soi Boomerang) there was memorable. They have a great "strip pool" competition where if the guy wins the girl whips off her top for a grope / suck on her nips to the cheers of the crowd. If the girl wins she gets a lady drink. Good deal, great fun, great vibe in the club, lots of bare breasts and fondling in the open, and one guy on my first visit being held in place by two girls whilst a third gave him a hand job until completion for all to see. I ended up in one of their rooms (spacious, clean, large and with good bed) with three of the girls (cannot remember names) and had a great time. Hence, I decided I would revisit on my final night. Sadly, it never lived up to the previous occasion and after two games of pool (despite winning!) I left. The quality of the girls was not as good as the previous encounter and whilst 2 of them were doable the remainder were not.
High Rollers had the same staff, same girls, same everything but somehow I didn't like it as much this time it looked older and grubby but to be fair, no better or worse than most of the clubs except Catflaps (see below).
Had to do duty to attend Buzzin Lounge given the great YouTube videos by Trev, so felt I "owed" him, but he wasn't there the night I attended and the lady offerings were weak. The bar is too small and the curtained off area just not for me. Wouldn't return. Ditto Kings up on Third Road but not far to walk from Honey One (Soapy). Here the quality of the girls is lower than Soi Boomerang (Club Fate) or Soi Buakhao /"Pothole". No need to win the match here the girl I played was so delighted I bought her a lady drink that she immediately got naked to play and was putting the pool cue to better uses than potting balls! But didn't see anyone better than 5/10. Hunny Lounge was again full of naked debauchery as was Heaven Above, but despite previously positive reports on Heaven Above from one recent poster in this forum, I found the quality of girls there quite poor compared to others.
What became clear to me about Gents clubs is that the quality of your experience is very much dependent upon (1) the vibe in the club / bar that actual night (2) which girls are working (3) your own mood. I suppose this could be said of all types of "entertainment" venues but whilst the vibe say in Kink was the same every night, the same could not be said of GCs Fate was markedly different on my two visits despite me having the same upbeat mood / approach which had taken me into a room with 3 girls.
So on to Jomtien / Pratumnak GCs. I had never been on previous visits, but I will 100% target this area, especially Pratumnak when I next return. Mongering aside, Pratumnak is the place to be. It is as upscale as Thailand gets on the coast. A quaint village-style area where it is clearly more opulent than the surrounding areas including the chilled-vibe of Jomtien. The GCs here are just better cleaner, more high end, better facilities. The quality of girls didn't incrementally improve but it didn't diminish either. Catflaps is the stand out club in terms of quality. A little bit of a walk uphill from the Main Street of Pratumnak but 5 minutes and well worth it. A sunken circular blue bar area which resembles Scandalos in Malaga Spain (for those who have been). Run by a very nice American guy, the club is well set out, good facilities and good vibe. The "cuddle" areas / couches to the right of the bar as one enters were occupied by a few guys who were butt naked and getting their cocks attended to by several girls. Bit like a scene from Tuesday open area sex night in Globe Club Switzerland. But it is dark enough and well set back enough that this isn't somehow in your face and lots of people were chatting at the bar / playing pool, watching the big screen sport and totally ignoring the open BJs and HJs in the booths off to the side. Curtained areas were available as well as VIP rooms.
The owner has acquired Maggie Mays and is extending it for me it needed it too small and no pool table currently all that is changing. If it is refurbished to the same standard as Catflaps it will (1) blow all of the other GCs out of the water in Pattaya, and (2) hopefully raise the standard immeasurably
Venom is brand new but the outside gives the false impression of big club. It's tiny with few girls. Cobra Bar is cozy, small but had 2 cute girls working on my early evening visit. In Jomtien itself Seahorse is also quite up market, very busy mid afternoon and some good choices of girls. Got the impression nearly all the guys know each other well. KitCat was a pleasant surprise. Looks tired from outside, and indeed inside, but good options which tempted me to take 2 for an afternoon threesome. Very nice VIP room with showers to side.
I much preferred the beach at Jomtien to Beach Road in Pattaya. I've now stayed in most of the better hotels in Pattaya and Wave on Beach Road is the best whilst it doesn't have the rooftop pools of the Hilton or Siam Siam it is funky, well maintained, great service and I would return there without hesitation had I not found Pratumnak (known by the locals as the Hollywood Hills of Pattaya).
Soapies I visited were Honey One, Rasputin, Honey 2 and Grand Honey 3. Best options were at Rasputin (though a little tricky to find even for the Bolt driver). A quick heads up about the very pretty S23 at Grand Honey 3 yellow badge so not the highest but 10/10 body. She was the ONLY girl on the whole trip who would not do BBBJ and wouldn't allow digits or DATY. Pretty, fabulous body but service was poor. M44 in Honey two (dark blue badge) is a former gymnast who takes great delight in insisting you fuck her when she is in positions I did not know the human body could move into! Rasputin had a large selection as did Honey 2. The girls in Honey 1 were largely overweight (not my bag) and I didn't take any.
Last year I posted about a visit to The Castle a BDSM club which was an eye-opener and my report got some fun comments from guys who thought my nave pleas to the Mistresses not to go too heavy on the slaves during the welcome show were funny. I couldn't resist another peak, and visited again. 1500 bht entry which includes one drink is OTT for Pattaya but its worth one visit. These ladies are true professionals if this your thing one very submissive (and very fat) British guy was tied up and given a very hard whipping which caused me to want to interrupt to ask if he was ok (as his back, butt and legs didn't look it) but I thought better of it just in case they thought I might want to take his place! But The Castle is not in the same league as Octupussy Fetish Club in Bangkok where non-participation is impossible!
Maybe it is a sign of age, but my best mongering on this trip was not in any of the above places. Oh for sure I loved some of the fun I had in the above venues, but for me, this time, my standout experiences were all in the oily massage places. I had 3 girls who I would rate 9/10 for looks and bodies all under 30, one of them 21, and all very willing to please, took their time, no rush, full services including BBBJ and two out of the three offered anal (not for me but it's available). But they were not drunk, and very attractive. One of them (about 100 yards from Avani Hotel on 2nd Road) was close to 10 in looks best looking girl I saw all trip. So much so I did wonder if she might be ladyboy but she most definitely was not. I had 2 x threesomes in the oiles which were also excellent.
So that's Pattaya for another year. I have little doubt I'll be back. I'll stay in Pratumnak next time. Really close to get to Pattaya, but much better high end vibe and some great options.
Back to Bangkok now for 5 more nights. Will report in that thread.

Hey man, would you need to do at least a month in advance to get the lower prices? And what site do you do this on? Not Abnb?"The Base" is modern and clean and has 2 high rise towers. There are actually two pools. One is on the roof top and the other is above the lobby. I enjoyed my stay there. You can book on different sites but if I were you I would check Airbnb and then compare it to the other sites. Do a little research and look around.
Just spent 10 days and nights in Pattaya and these were my findings / experiences. This is mainly Gents Clubs based.
Apologies for posting in the wrong thread. Have posted in the main Pattaya forum now! Hotels:
Hilton. Good pool and location but annoyingly have to get in one lift, out of it to reception, into another lift to rooms.
Very small gym. Great views from Pool.
Siam Siam. Too far out of centre. Rooms are very tired. Lovely rooftop pool. Good gym. Breakfast is poor. Really poorly located other than for Soi 6.
Wave. Fabulous location. Quirky. Great rooms, great service, on Beach Road. Close to everything. Nice pool but on ground floor. No gym but 5 minutes to Coco. Best gym in Pattaya.
Royal Cliff. Top of the hill. Great views / pool / gym. Not really a walk into town. Possible but very uphill on way back!
Note for next trip. Stay in Pratumnak. Very upscale between Pattaya and Jomtien.
Wave. Fabulous location. Quirky. Great rooms, great service, on Beach Road. Close to everything. Nice pool but on ground floor. No gym but 5 minutes to Coco. Best gym in Pattaya.According to who is Coco the best gym in Pattaya? Did you have a look at other places too?

I really like LK Empress but am concerned if it was a somewhat out of the way at soi 12. Will I have issues bringing girls back due to the distance? Soi 6 to LK Empress is maybe a 5 minute taxi ride as long as there's no traffic. No Soi 6 girl is going to complain about that. If she did, that's likely not the right girl to go with.
If you want a nicer hotel that won't break the budget within short walking distance to Soi 6 consider Mera Mare and Hard Rock. What's nice about Hard Rock is you can exit the hotel on both Beach Road and 2nd Road.
Hilton. Siam Siam. Wave. Royal Cliff.
You said you walked everywhere in Pattaya. Did you walk between these hotels with your luggage too? If so, please let us know which luggage your have cause that's one durable brand.
You said you walked everywhere in Pattaya. Did you walk between these hotels with your luggage too? If so, please let us know which luggage your have cause that's one durable brand.LOL! Nope didn't walk to a single hotel. I travel light (ish) when in Thailand but still had a suitcase and a small rucksack but they 100% went in cabs. I should also say that I didn't stay in all of these hotels on this trip. I stayed in Royal Cliff and Hilton last year and Siam and Wave this year. The thought of lugging a case from any hotel to anywhere on what can only be loosely described as "pavements" in Pattaya is unthinkable. That said, as Beach road was being resurfaced during my stay it technically would have been possible between say Wave and Hilton. Nice and smooth if a bit entertaining avoiding bikes and cars! But up the hill to Royal Cliff? Erm. Nope!
First time traveling to Thailand. I read through about 20 pages here and decided to go with a Condo for a 3-night stay in the beginning of October.
Although the safety of a hotel with keeping ID's sounds good, I just didn't want to deal with the hassle. I picked Edge Central because of the location. And it looks pretty nice. No chance I get in that pool. That thing looks terrifying.
If anyone has any reason why this place is a bad idea, please let me know and I'll book something else. Otherwise, I'll report on it after I get there in a few weeks.

Location is excellent. I've never stayed there but I have been told by several people the rooms are small. That's the only complaint I have heard. You have done your due diligence and read back 20 pages which many first timers don't do. You are informed. I would point out that the hotel ID issue is not a problem at all. It is a simple, fast process. However, for most first time visitors staying for a short period of time, I would recommend a hotel over a condo. It's easier to get general info about about directions, tours, transportation, restaurants, etc. From a hotel front desk. I've also met some nice fellow travelers that way.
Some good hotels near Edge with good locations are Debua, Amethyst (both newer), Areca, LK Metropole, LK Renaissance. There are seemingly hundreds of others nearby, too. Enjoy your trip. Pattaya is like no other place on the planet.

Hi Guys been reading the forum and finally decided on LK empress for October last week stay with free cancellation. Have been re considering as I think I won't be venturing so much into Go-Go and would like the regular bar scene more so been considering Mare Mera as its near Soi 6.
So couple of doubts-.
Can you get a Soi 6 girl back to your hotel and if so which would be the better option.
Also if not a Go-Go scene which of them would be better overall for stay and convinience. Also is there a better option in similar budgets.
Thank you.

How is Agoda for booking hotels in Pattaya and Bangkok. Is it reliable?
I have been using booking.com for most stays in my home country and abroad so far. Had no issues as such but lately realizing Agoda has better deals even though I am on "genius 3" level in booking.com's loyalty programme.
Also, how is blackwoods hotel Pattaya. Anyone’s stayed over there?

Also, how is blackwoods hotel Pattaya. Anyones stayed over there?Agoda profiles customers and may contrive not to give you their best bargains if they have you down as a good payer. That's why I often have a friend of mine book on my behalf. Agoda have him down as a cheapskate as he often books very cheap hotels. Also, Agoda plays games, jacking up the price at the last click, forcing you to buy in Euros at Agoda's less good exchange rate, charging extra money because the "local currency is different from the credit card currency" (hidden somewhere in their small print).
The best Agoda deals are often to be found through Google maps. Look up the hotel in Google maps and click on the Agoda deal. Alas for me, Agoda refuses to give ME the deals they advertise in Google maps. Note that the Agoda app price is often different from the price on the Agoda browser website.
Agoda and Booking belong to the same outfit, so why does Agoda play games and Booking doesn't? I think this is because Booking operates under EU law while Agoda operates from Singapore. EU law doesn't allow Agoda practices.
Trip dot com is reliable too. After a trip to Brazil fell through I once cancelled 3000 euro worth of hotel bookings in Brazil. Trip dot com refunded quickly. In my experience Trip dot com will have prices a bit cheaper than Booking but not as cheap as Agoda's.

Some sites show cheaper. Usually I want breakfast included in the deal. For this Agoda and trip are good. I have also booked through hotel website and they have good deals if you are staying more than 3 nights.

Room looks clean but small.
If it's the one they rent at 65 $, it's not worth in my opinion unless you love the location.

One should always compare hotel prices on a few different websites multiple times to assure a decent booking. It is also a very good idea to make sure the reservation is a pay at the hotel, no penalty for cancelation reservation in case your trip falls through or you find a cheaper price later on.
I think Agoda is pretty good for Asian bookings, but I have found Expedia usually offers better prices in Brazil. I have also found that booking directly with the hotel will many times get the best deal possible although not always. Ha Ha.
... It is also a very good idea to make sure the reservation is a pay at the hotel, no penalty for cancelation reservation in case your trip falls through or you find a cheaper price later on.
... If you book non-refundable it matters not whether it was "pay at the property" or "pay now". Your card gets debited, albeit on a different day.
Thank you XXL and Banana Boi for your responses to my question earlier. I ended up just sticking with Empress. Rooms look on the nicer end, plus good location and decent breakfast.
As for booking sites compare a couple. For example I book directly with Agoda and it's not the lowest rate. But I'll use another site like google or booking and it will give me an Agoda reservation at lower price. And sometimes Agoda will have the lowest rate by themselves. I usually just compare my favorite 2 or 3 sites. Your membership level honestly doesn't matter too much.

Hi Guys been reading the forum and finally decided on LK empress for October last week stay with free cancellation. Have been re considering as I think I won't be venturing so much into Go-Go and would like the regular bar scene more so been considering Mera Mare as its near Soi 6.Haven't stayed at either hotel, so my opinion is based solely on their locations.
Mera Mare is just north of the big Hard Rock Hotel complex on Beach Road. Google Maps says it's a 350 meter walk to the intersection of Soi Six and Beach Road. So if you plan on taking a girl from a Soi Six bar back to your hotel, it would be easy. Be aware, however, that the Soi Six business model has long assumed the use of onsite rooms. While it's possible to find a girl willing to go back to your hotel, you'll pay a bar fine and the girl will demand a higher fee.
Moreover, as others have noted, post-COVID the Soi Six bars have shifted their "product mix," so to speak. There is more emphasis on the customers who just drink. More girls are "drinks only." Some are up front about it. Others fend off requests to go upstairs by falsely saying they are having their period. My sense is that the original poster will have to work a little bit to find a girl that strikes his fancy who is willing to go to his hotel.
I'm not sure what Mr. Ariman means when he says he might prefer "the regular bar scene." Does he mean beer bars? Outdoor cafe type places like in Tree Town? Gentlemen's Clubs? If so, he won't find many of those near the Mera Mare. North of Pattaya Central Road Soi Six is the category killer. (OK, there is Sabai Dee.) If he fancies a pub crawl, I think he'd be better off at the LK Empress because the central part of town has every conceivable type of "bar" and he could easily walk around until he finds someplace he likes.

Five girl orgies anyone? It happened. While I was staying at View Talay 6. Was not a problem having all the girls come back to the room. Be ready to pony up some cash. And they don't take American Express. LOL!

What do you think about Condo senior?

I know we have many adventurous folks here and have indulged in similar debauchery once in life time. Looking forward to hear more.

Looking forward to hear more.As another suggestion, for 800 - 900 THB you could just rent a hotel room for the night where all you need is for the girl to have ID. Security will take you room number and a picture of the ID of the girl. No tip to security needed if you have more than one girl. You want to rent a garden cottage with the king size bed. And you will have an area for complete debauchery. Name of the place:
Pattaya Garden Resort/Hotel, it is within walking distance of Terminal 21.
Oh that's so nasty! In your face you know it all mother fuckers. Newbie here. To Pattaya maybe, not to tricking. Don't hate mother fuckers! Participate.

As for paying bargirls electronically, I just paid a lady 10 K via bank transfer for 7 days.
Stayed 3 nights at Edge Central Condo.
Cost: About $200 for all three nights.
Booked on Agoda. My friend booked a slightly smaller room for about $160 for three nights on AirBnB.
Check-in process was unclear but easy when I got there. Got there and a lady met me by the taxi (used Nam's Taxi, highly recommend). She tried to upsell me on a slightly larger room for 3,000 baht more, but I wasn't interested. Walked me to the mailbox behind the reception area and got the key out of an unlocked mailbox. Had me add her on WhatsApp, she sent me some information, and then I was off to take a shower and (10 minutes later) meet my first TF girl.
Bringing Girls: No issues. Nobody is around at night to ask for ID's or anything at night. Most I brought back was 2, but could've brought a stable if I wanted to. Rooms are too small for 4+ people. One TF girl that came during the day said she had to leave her ID at the security gate by the road, but none of the other girls ever pulled out ID's for anything. We just walked in.
Pool: I said I wouldn't get in the pool but I ended up checking it out. It's pretty cool to look out over the city in that pool. Kinda scary too. Not worth hanging out there though cause there's no food or drinks allowed.
Would definitely stay there again. The location is excellent. Close to the LK metro bars and walking distance to Walking Street & Soi 6.

Looking for budget hotel (under $30 per night).
I scanned a lot of hotels in both pattaya and jomtien but couldn't find something suitable. One or the other issue is there in the reviews.
Purpose: Not mongering, planning to stay with my girl for 3 D, 2 N and just see the beach and the town.
Beachfront (else near beach), in-room safe, at least 25 m2 room, swimming pool not a must but good to have, cleanliness.
Please reply if somebody has stayed in such budget hotels, thank you.

I've never been to Pattaya before, but been to Bangkok several times. I'm looking for a hotel that's close enough to the "action" (main RLDs) although I plan to mostly use TF. So I will need to know that the place will be okay with me having multiple different girls up per day. Does this require I book the room for 2 when I make the reservation?
Other than that, I need good Wifi and hopefully not super noisy.

There are bars everywhere that play loud music to 3 am or later. If you want quiet look for a hotel at least a couple of blocks away.

How would I verify their policy of bringing girls up to room before making the reservation?By emailing or calling the hotel is best. Otherwise there are plenty of sites your can Google search "girl friendly hotels".
I've stayed at LK The Empress a few times and it was good. The last 4 trips at the Areca Lodge, which is very well situated and close to a lot of action. I am thinking of looking at a place in Pratumnak, more to get away from the madness just a bit and I would like to check out some of the action in Jotimen as well. If anyone has a couple of good recommendations for Pratumnak, I would appreciate the recommendations. Rumor has it that there are a few more upscale hotels in the area with nice pricing. Thanks in advance!

Sky.The issue with Pratumnak is that there is little mass transit, so taxis are required to go to Jomtien or Pattaya. Or you could walk to and from the Thrappaya Road baht bus.

Thank you Explorer. That is a good thing to keep in mind.Location, location, location. Pratumnak is a very good area but I wouldn't recommend it for first time or even semi-occasional visitors. You'll need a motorbike or Bolt to go anywhere. If you have been to Pattaya a lot and know exactly what you are getting into, then Pratumnak is a good choice. It's better to stay on or close walking distance to a baht bus route I. E. Beach Road, Second Rd, or Bukhaow.

Sky.I recommend you scope out the LK Metropole; similarly situated as the Areca, but more quiet. The Areca is one of the most popular mongering hotels in Pattaya, so it is always full.

In fact, I do more than just consider it. I live in Jomtien. I just looked at an off the plan condo in Pratumnak. Walking distance to a Baht Bus route. I have never paid more than 200 THB (6 USD) for a one way ride anywhere in Pattaya. Often what I do is get in a Bolt the first time. Pay attention to the route and learn. Then often times I can do it via Baht bus on my own the next time.
Do not be afraid to get on a Baht Bus and just ride it where it takes you. If you are going too far off the beat and path, hit the button, get off and ask the driver to direct you where you want to go. Have I wasted 10 THB doing that? I sure have. Have a learned a lot doing that? Gained knowledge way more valuable than the 10 THB. This knowledge has opened up a range of options to me. Now, be prepared to spend 20 minutes getting from Jomtien to Central Pattaya on the Baht Bus. But as you all know, I am time rich and cash poor so I just don't give a fuck!
Just as a note, next month my rental is going up by 8000 THB because of high season and it is already booked. So, I moved out and found a unit across the street and a block away for 8000 THB / month. Options are available. Just saying.
Hello guys hope everything is well!
The time has finally come, planning my first trip to Pattaya. It will be me and one of my buddies going on this trip. I have been reading through this forum for a while but decided to reach out to see if you can give me some specific input of where is the best place to stay. We are planning to go for 3 weeks and since it's our first time we want to be in the center of everything where we can go to all location LK, SOI 6, Tree town, walking street on different nights. (I know all of them are spread apart). We are looking for either condo for two or hotel that is in the medium / medium high end of price. We do want something nicer looking and not run down. What is your input of past places that you stayed and you loved? Thanks for your time sharing your experience and hope you have an amazing day!!

We want a condo (preferably for 2 but we can get separate ones depending on price) or hotel somewhere in the middle of all locations (Walking street, LK Metro, SOI 6, Tree House. Etc) since it's our first time visiting and we really want to hit all of those spots at least ones. Price range wise we are looking for mid range to mid-high range. Nothing breaking the bank but something nice since we are going to be there for 3 weeks. Please drop places that you have stayed before and you think it would be a great for for our trip. Thanks for your time and you have a amazing day!

Don't let the Cheep Charlies posting up in here rain on your parade. Tell them to stay home and work some more so they can afford nicer lodging. Also tell them to save money on the pussy and use it to get a decent room and treat themselves to a good meal.
I am currently booked at the Areca Lodge, but am thinking of moving someplace a little bit less busy. Areca is fine, but it feels like a frat house to me.The party atmosphere at the Areca is a feature, not a bug, for many guys.
But if you're looking for a hotel in central Pattaya that's a bit more chill consider the Whitehouse Condotel on Soi 13, between Second Road and Beach Road. It's a smaller property that caters to golfers, and those guys tend to retire early. No problem at all with joiners, but they would probably frown on loud parties in your room. Speaking of rooms, they have two different sizes, plus a few suites. Within crawling distance of the legendary Sportsman Pub.

Stayed at the Amethyst recently and found it to be excellent! Very friendly staff, clean, and ID check (which is preferred by me). Buffet breakfast was ok. Nothing great, but not lacking.
I live in Jomtien. Now, be prepared to spend 20 minutes getting from Jomtien to Central Pattaya on the Baht Bus. But as you all know, I am time rich and cash poor so I just don't give a fuck! This afternoon, got on the Bhat bus at Soi 13/2 on Beach Road. Rode it down to Walking Street and made the turn. Dismounted and walked on to Second Road and mounted up again. Headed down Second Road until View Talay 5. 18 minutes, 34 seconds, 48 tenths of a second, 20 THB.
I'll write up a review soon of View Talay 5 where I stay. But it should be noted that there are a lot of people that talk about things they don't actually do in Pattaya. I write about what I actually do.
Do anyone know Hotels in Pattaya with integrated "Special" room Services? Thanks.

For a first time visitor no. But once you know your way around, if you prefer a quieter environment I would certainly consider it.
I may be a "new poster" and a "tourist". But I know where I lay my head every night. I might not know where that is going to be. But once I get there I know and I can get back home when and if I need to. I gots stories to tell.
I suppose you mean View Talay 6,.Why would I have meant that? Does it take 18 minutes, 34 seconds, 48 tenths of a second or take 20 THB to get from Soi 13/2 to View Talay 6? It is not even in the same direction my confused and misguided ISG Brother.
Where is Jomtien? Jomtien, Pattaya City, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150 Na Chom Thian or Na Jomtien is a town and tambon (subdistrict) in Sattahip District of Chon Buri Province, on the southern fringe of Pattaya..
Pattaya City has grown into all adjacent sub-districts and accounts for the largest population percentage in the district, making it de facto a part of the "Pattaya-Bang Lamung-Jomtien" area, otherwise known as "Greater Pattaya.
I suppose you mean View Talay 6, because View Talay 5 is in Jomtien.I wrote: "I live in Jomtien and I took the Baht Bus from Soi 13/2 to View Talay 5."
View Talay 5 has owners of condos that will rent rooms on contract period you specify at a premium over what you would pay for a longer term contract. I paid 17,000/ month plus water and utilities for a 48 m2 condo that was completely remodeled and looked like something out of a home decorating magazine. With a balcony and killer view of the water, it was something to behold.
When high season came I was informed that the cost of my room would increase to 25,000. Anyone can rent a room there for 15,000/ month yearly (same size) but it will not be laid out like the room I rented was laid out. Even so, 25000/ month for a 48 m2 condo is highway robbery (so much for those who think High Season is a myth in Pattaya). Yes, I am poor and I live as a poor Thai does. So, I moved.
Security is not tight with the closest you get to any is the security people pushing the elevator button for you. Girls can come right to your room without a problem. They will not be stopped or challenged. In View Talay 6 they stop the girls and take pictures of their ID (At least they did when I was staying there). Back to View Talay 5: Standard services available on the first floor of the building and many others available within two blocks. Sits right on a Baht Bus line. Cross the street in order to take the one that you down the beach road or head out the back of the complex and have direct access to the beach.
because View Talay 5 is in Jomtien.View Talay 5 is in Jomtien. Did I say otherwise?
Do anyone know hotels in Pattaya with integrated "Special" room Services? Thanks. All the hotels in Pattaya that I have stayed at have integrated "special" room service. I have spent extensive time integrating my dick with the girls providing the "room" service. Or is that service in the room? LOL!

I see now what you meant. I was confused by the sentence 'Headed down Second Road until View Talay 5', because Second Road is not called Second Road anymore around View Talay 5. It's called Thappraya Road there.
I cannot recommend View Talay 5. I had bad experiences with the noise in the building. It is built in such a way that noise resonates throughout the building. You can hear people playing music and their home theaters watching movies. I also had a bad experiences with the rental manager when my contract ended over the electric, water and cleaning charges. There was a problems in the apartment due to deferred maintenance that required two visits from workman to the correct. The biggest problem for me was that the oven did not work. I picked the unit because it had an oven. The problem was never fixed. Last item is that the owners had personal items stored in the unit taking up four drawers of limited storage space. The did not lock the items up.
You experiences may be different, if you are in a different unit. Let the renter beware..

Seriously my ISG Brother you were confused because I did not say that my second Baht Bus ride started on Second Road in Pattaya and ended at View Tally 5 on Thappraya Road, in Jomtien (which if you look it up in Google Maps lists the location as Jomtien, Pattaya. I honestly do not know how you could have been confused if you have actually ever made the trip. As I listed the exact route that I took. How you have to get off of a Baht Bus if you get on at Beach Road.
I missed your last report on a hotel / condo / apartment you stayed at in Pattaya. I look forward to reading it.

I just did not realize that you were going south.
And yes, I have made the trip a couple of times, but that's a long time ago.
I missed your last report on a hotel / condo / apartment you stayed at in Pattaya. I look forward to reading it.I'm usually staying in the same hotel, for many years already. It's a well known and rather popular hotel, in a popular Soi of Second Road, that doesn't need reviews anymore. In fact, I might have been one of the reasons that it became so popular, because I heavily promoted it a couple of years ago.

I recently stayed in EDGE condos central Pattaya. Quite convenient for play. Easy to bring in SPs no questions asked by the guards at the gate. The rooms themselves are quite small and in my opinion only good for short term stay (1 to 2 weeks). Otherwise a good comfy bed, I wish it had a side mirror to see yourselves in action!
The apartments have all the typical facilities and I got a high floor unit which ensured a nice peaceful time free from road nice. Location is good too. I booked mine thru Air BnB. Not sure if there are better deals booking directly through the condo manager but I got a decent rate since the high season had not kicked in full gear yet m during my stay: November 18-25.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This is on the beach road which makes is easy to move around ... walking street (10 mins walk) or to the beach etc. Its a GREEN hotel to bring in guest.I did see a message at the reception that 500Baht shall be paid incase of guest which i asked for clarification. I was told that this is for any additional guest ( may be 3rd if room is for 2 or for 2nd if room was was one).... Since the room was booked for double occupancy, there were no issues to bring in guests for short time or long time. 4 different guests came along on these days and there was no issue...Room was huge with queen bed, a tiny balcony to sit and chat, baths had jacuzzi. Breakfast was great too. When I had a guest for short time, the reception made sure to call back on intercom to check if the ID card of the guest can be handedover. Liked this part of check.
Highly recommended. Only -ve is that I landed early to 2 Pm and check in was denied as till 2 PM. Can swallow this part as its a rule.

Booked my room at hard rock-double occupancy- anybody have any issues with bringing guests??
I seek recommendations for reasonably priced hotels in Pattaya. I have come across two establishments, namely Intimate Hotel and Sandy Spring Hotel, through this forum. While these options appear promising, I am open to additional suggestions within a similar price range as Intimate Hotel and Sandy Spring Hotel. If you have any alternative recommendations, I would appreciate your insights. Thank you.

So I'll just say a few words about their locations, and leave it at that.
They are both in central Pattaya, which is good for a first time visitor. But I'll give the edge to the Sandy Springs. It's on Soi 13 between Beach Road and Second Road, which means it's a VERY short walk to catch a baht bus headed south on Beach Road or north on Second Road. So super-easy to get back and forth to Walking Street and Soi 6. If you're interested in Soi LK Metro, Soi Buakao, Soi Pothole, Soi Lengkee or Soi Boomerang, they are all easy walks. Finally, Soi 13 features the excellent Sportsman Pub, a nice laundry and the breakfast buffet at the Lek Hotel. (Assuming they still offer it. Can anybody weigh in?
The Intimate is east of Second Road on Soi 14 Alley, which is a narrow snicket. Moreover, it's a dead end. No matter where you're going, you'll have to walk back to Second Road. There isn't much in the way of commerce on that alley, so you'll be making that walk quite often.
Booked my room at hard rock-double occupancy- anybody have any issues with bringing guests??Never. I sty there for a week at a time as it is close to Soi 6 etc. I then switch to either Siam at Siam or Hilton for the following weeks.
I had 2 girls with me for several nights my trip in Oct. I had a huge suite and booked via expedia for 3 people #winning.
Its a great hotel. More 4* than 5 IMHO.
YMMV.

Providing your budget and your estimated dates would benefit us in a suggestion as hotel prices are different depending on your dates. More than happy to help but only if you provide this information. I can't PM you. You need to pay for a membership. I saw you asked in another thread.
Is there a reason you're picking that area in general? You most interested in beer bars? Beach Road? soapies? Walking Street? LK Metro? Soi 6? near a mall?
On a related note for those in town, does Tim's Bar still have a gogo bar inside? That bar was a relatively unknown gem but haven't been since pre-COVID.

I have stayed in a few places but my favourite by far is Areca Lodge. It is on Metro but close to everything. And not expensive. Nice breakfast and very guest friendly. If you want to go to Soi 6 just get a bike taxi or a baht bus. I like to walk and it is only 20 minutes.

I always stay in a hotel on Soi 13 which is close to that location. Sadly, when I returned to Pattaya in September for the first time since Covid I noticed that the Tim Bar is no longer in existence. I guess it was another casualty of Covid.

My budget is around 70 k baht, I will be in Pattaya between 28th of December to January 2nd. I'm interested in soapies, walking street and also beer bars.BIG issue- you left it a bit late to book over NYE. When I look well over 50% of the hotels are booked. Ones I was going to suggest that no one mentions here are Maytara and Page 10. Both well within your budget and in the area. More common places like Areca, Whitehouse Condotel etc all booked too. Since you don't mind soapies one hotel that is pretty decent albeit small rooms is Ibis Pattaya. $60 US. On baht bus route, near Terminal 21 and the Sabai area soapies and beer bars. LK Residence on Soi Diana would put you at the top of the price range but larger rooms and excellent location. View Talay 6 beside Central Festival is within your price range and I see some availability. Keep in mind not all units in VT6 are created equal by any means.
Sorry can't be of more assistance on late booking over NYE but wherever you choose book sooner rather than later for NYE. Same with any half decent girl if you're looking for one for NYE too. Arriving on Dec 28 may already be too late.
FYI 70k is a huge budget for 5 days. Even if I deduct $600 US for hotels that leaves you with roughly 10,000 baht per day on girls. I guarantee you only a handful of guys on this board spends that much except for gogo bar guys.

While these options appear promising, I am open to additional suggestions within a similar price range as Intimate Hotel and Sandy Spring Hotel. If you have any alternative recommendations, I would appreciate your insights. Thank you.I have only stayed at the Sandy Spring Hotel once, and it was OK. Nice rooms, friendly staff. The rooms at the higher floors have sea view, but it's a bit ruined by the ugly back sides of the buildings along Beach Road and Soi 13-1.
A comparable hotel in the same price range (probably a bit cheaper) is the Dynasty Inn at the other end of Soi 13. Take a room at the back side if you don't want to be disturbed by the noise from the beer bar at the corner with Second Road.
But in both hotels the walls between the rooms are very thin, so you can be bothered by noise from other guests.
Which brings me to another point that other posters have not mentioned yet: noisy areas.
The Intimate Hotel is in a noisy area (or at least the north side of it). And so are the Areca Lodge, Page 10, Maytara, and LK Residence.
So these hotels are not recommended if you're an early sleeper.
Finally, Soi 13 features the excellent Sportsman Pub, a nice laundry and the breakfast buffet at the Lek Hotel. (Assuming they still offer it. Can anybody weigh in?)
I was in Pattaya at the end of October, and sadly there was still no breakfast buffet at the Lek. And neither at the Apex.

Sandy Spring Hotel.... Dynasty InnDidn't meet his criteria. They were either sold out or over his price range, forgot which was which.
So these hotels are not recommended if you're an early sleeper. There was extremely limited selection. I made the assumption he wanted to stay near the baht bus route. If someone really wants quiet and be on the Beach Road baht bus route I'd recommend Dusit Thani. Doubt this would still be available on NYE or within his limited price range.
Ibis Pattaya would be the hotel to fit his criteria then if he wants it a bit more quiet. My room was facing the pool on a high floor and I don't recall hearing loud music at night. Can't guarantee someone didn't put a bar up since I stayed there. Not really a street I walk down. Ibis and Mercure are kind of tucked away on their own.

I was in Pattaya at the end of October, and sadly there was still no breakfast buffet at the Lek. And neither at the Apex. What a shame! The food at those places was never stellar, but it hit the spot and the price was low. Moreover, I always enjoyed eating poolside at the Lek Hotel.
Thanks for the update Mogwai.

So I was fortunate to be able to book a King Premium Ocean Front room at the Hilton for a few nights. Was thinking I would test drive some girls ST at a lesser hotel and then pick the better performers to LT at the Hilton.
Most of these girls are agreeing to 1000-2000 baht ST. My worry is that they might be upset that they got paid at that rate at the lesser hotel and will come to expect more after seeing the nicer room at the Hilton. Is this a valid concern? Will girls expect to be paid more if I'm staying at the Hilton in a nice room?

Will girls expect to be paid more if I'm staying at the Hilton in a nice room?No girls don't adjust their rates higher or lower just because your hotel is nice or not. On the contrary, you may find girls who will stay a bit longer with you if you're in a nicer place. But you did say you want LT at the Hilton so you will now be paying LT prices, not ST ones.
Just make up some BS story that you only have this room because you're using company points.

Same as it ever was. Good location. Good value -- at least it is for me.
SW.Much appreciated SW.
Will be heading back to Pattaya after a very long (10+ years) absence. Back in the day I used to stay at White House Condotel. I RTFF and there is very little on it and nothing from the past several years. Is there anything that's changed or is it the same as it ever was? Thanks.Same rooms, same owner, same clientele, same breakfast. There is a new manager who has been there for for a few years. Super nice guy from the UK. It has not changed. The massage shop directly across the street has a good selection but you need to negotiate their higher asking prices down.

I use it as a back up in case Hard Rock or Hilton are too pricey that month or if Areca is booked (usually is). WH has nice rooms and a good vibe and is in a great spot IMHO.
Not at all. Most girls appreciate going to a nice hotel. I stay mostly at Hiltons and some girls when it would get late would wind up staying long time to join me at the breakfast buffet in the morning. There is a massage girl I have met after her shift a couple times and last time I saw her when I brought her back to the Peninsula, she was so excited and said she hoped I could keep her for the night because she heard about the breakfast buffet and wanted to try it. Great night, great breakfast and more fun afterwards. Definitely helped offset the cost of the room. Sorry I forgot this was the Pattaya thread, this was in Bangkok, but the same can apply anywhere
Hi Mate.
I have stayed in a few places but my favourite by far is Areca Lodge. It is on Metro but close to everything. And not expensive. Nice breakfast and very guest friendly. If you want to go to Soi 6 just get a bike taxi or a baht bus. I like to walk and it is only 20 minutes.I stayed at Areca Lodge and really like it. It meet my requirements, good hotel, good wifi, central location, quiet during night times and lady friendly. I'm headed there in Feb but my dates they are all sold out. Can anyone give me a good recommendation that is about equal to Areca. Thanks.

Thanks.I've stayed at Areca many times, and this is just a suggestion that you might have done already, and I have no idea if it might work for you. But a few times when I searched for a room on their website it showed no availability. So I emailed them directly and mentioned that I was a previous guest, and they found me a room for the dates I wanted.

I grew tired of the Areca Lodge. When they got bust the service level dropped considerably. It also got noisy from the street level clubs at least the rooms I was in. I decided to try something a little off the regular path and went to the Sirin Hotel. I was very glad I did. The service was very good. The room was large and the wifi much improved. Now the breakfast left a lot to be desired, but the upside is there is a Mexican cafe just a short walk away and a very good bakery shop just across the street. Of course the club options are reduced, nothing like WS or Soi 6, but since I almost never "take out" from either of those locations, I can get a Bolt ride easily if I desire. What I liked was it is a short walk to either Catflaps (my new favorite) or Kinaree GC in one direction and Venom in the other. The street side massage shops on Soi 5 have some nice offerings. (I redirected one lady who was leaving the hotel at about 9:30 back to my room for a very nice 90 minute massage and more).
If you bring a lady back for LT and she stays, they seem to like the pool and the beach is a 10 minute walk as well.
I will for certain be heading back to the Sirin. I don't really miss the craziness of Central Pattaya and can go easily if I desire. I found more than enough to keep me interested close by the Sirin.

I'm headed there in Feb but my dates they are all sold out. Can anyone give me a good recommendation that is about equal to Areca. Thanks.Careful where you land at Areca's. I once got a deal on Agoda or Booking. Areca put me into the back building. The room was basic but the room was not the problem. The problem was that the gate and access through the nearby Soi at the back (soi 15 I think) was closed due to the never-ending road-works. This meant a 5 minutes' walk to the Soi Diana front desk in order to fetch my girls AND Areca insisted I fetched my girls to sign a paper instead of just letting them come to my room on their own. To make matters worse, the noise from the road-works on Soi 15 was loud and the 4 G /5 G signal in that back building was poor so my expensive AIS 5 G data package was wasted. Be leery of any good-sounding deal at Areca's!
LK Renaissance nearby is a much better bet if you don't need a swimming pool or only need one twice a week (in which case you can pay to use Areca's). Dunno whether even the sunny pool at Areca is warm enough at the peak of high season. My recommendation in that part of town: book LK Renaissance, then buy access to Areca's pool and Areca's buffet breakfast a couple of times a week.

LK Renaissance nearby is a much better bet if you don't need a swimming pool I don't pay attention to pools since I don't use them but I'm pretty sure LK Residence has a pool. Don't know how big it is. I'm going by remembering they have those nice purple towels in the closet for pool usage. LK Residence customers are also allowed to use the gym at LK Metropole up Soi Diana.

I am headed back in early 2024 and will stay in the area between Catflaps (which I also liked but have never been to Kinaree). Wondered if you had tried the Sanctuary Resort. Bottom of the hill near the beach (slightly more expensive than the Sirin) and could compare? And whether Sanctuary is girl friendly. Thanks.

Thanks. This was my first stay in this area, so I have zero experience at Sanctuary Resort. I guess anything is possible, but I'd be shocked if they are not open to guests, especially if you book the room for two people. The fact that your guest changes daily should be of no consequence to them. A comment on Kinaree, it is just one street from Catflaps. Different vibe for sure, but good place, it was busy the day I was there and most of the lookers were occupied, although a few came back from the ST rooms during the time I was there. The burgers are good and the beer cold as well. LOL.
The other place I looked at is the Unique Hotel on the corner, a little less expensive so I don't know how it is. I may try Sanctuary, I will return in late Feb. However I really enjoyed the Sirin.

Stayed 6 nights total, 3 each at both the properties. Both guest friendly. Was a last minute booking to had to pay a little, than what these hotels go for.
40 USD / per night for holiday inn.
55 USD / per night for Amethyst.
Breakfast is okay in both, nothing special.
Using the lift in the basement in holiday inn, I was able to sneak in a an extra girl without paying guest fee.
Cheers.
I am looking for a upscale condo to rent that has a nice pool area in late Feb / Early March if anyone can point me in the right direction. I would not turn down something in Central Pattaya, but would like to see what might be available in the area near the Sirin Hotel. I kind of liked that area. I am curious what the housekeeping options are in a condo. It can dampen spirits when you have multiple ladies visit or come home with you and the sheets are less than pristine and the towels have all been used. I don't mind doing some research, but appreciate being pointed to a reputable agent or website.
TIA,
Sky.
I'm currently at Hilton Pattaya, and I'm happy with it. I want to shift to more reasonable priced options. I was considering Sirin and Amehyst. My requirements are (1) cleanliness / housekeeping should be good (2) in room safe (3) good wifi (4) safe but easy guest policy (check ID of the girl, and send her straight to my room, after calling me), (5) reasonable guest fees (6) fitness center with working treadmills (7) the rooms should not look cheap. I don't care much for restaurants in hotel or pool in hotel. Do these two options satisfy these requirements?

Do these two options satisfy these requirements? You can always go to the hotels you are considering and ask them to show you a room (if one is available) and their amenities. Also ask about guest policies, wifi etc. Since you've narrowed it down to 2 hotels it won't take long.

But IIRC I have seen a fitness center in Soi Buakhao nearby.
And regarding point 5 they say this in the FAQ on their website:
Q: Is the hotel guest-friendly?
A: Yes, we are guest-friendly but not exceeding the maximum occupancy for the room type booked.
By the way, be aware that the rooms facing Soi Buakhao are rather noisy, due to the bars there.
The rooms at the other side, which are almost all Deluxe Rooms, are much more quiet. Except maybe the ones more to the front of the hotel, which is facing Soi 15 (Soi Buakhao 15).
I plan to rent in March and April. 50 k per month is ok. I need a good large swimming pool.
I'll rent a motorbike to move around in the neighbourhood and shop for food but I'll fall back on the Baht bus to travel to central Pattaya. Is parking one's motorbike motorbike along the Baht bus line a good idea? I'm never sure where parking one's motorbike is allowed in Thailand.
Any tips?
My query is similar to Skyrider's below.

The hotel is obviously guestfriendly as they write in their website.

I am curious what the housekeeping options are in a condo. You have to ask your host, most host not including housekeeping, few will offer 1 time a week. Always ask your host how many towels and bed sheets you have in the apartment.

My query is similar to Skyrider's below.First off, get a condo with parking. You don't want to leave your moto on the street.
Second, you will find that many condos in Pratumnak are too far from Thrappaya Road for you to use a baht bus.

Sky.Oops. Every condo is different on the housekeeping front. I just do it myself, although some of my older lady friends will do some cleaning if they sleep over.

Sky.There's no need to fret about housekeeping. When booking just say you want housekeeping to come by x times a week and I'm sure most hosts will arrange that for you without any problems for an extra charge of 300-500 baht per time.
This would be my first time at this place so could use some help and tips. Should I ask for a higher floor while booking? Any suggestions for some nice rooms in this place that are not noisy?
Are the kitchens good enough for some Thai cooking by a. Ahm. Guest? Do the safes work nicely and are indeed safe etc. ?
TIA.

Any suggestions for booking a better room at View talay 6?There are many private websites that book VT6 rooms. You can find whatever you're seeking for your budget. The nicest room there is the 180 sqm Penthouse with a 270 degree wrap around balcony overlooking the Beach. 2 bedrooms. Not sure of the price now but IIRC it was close to 200 USD per night in 2015 and 2016. That was my go to room especially when I wanted to party like Explorer and have 4 girls over. Girls love to run around. Be careful most don't want to leave.

Looking the position of the VT6 between beach road and second road I don't know how can be not noisy. Furthermore, I have often read about people complaining about very noisy neighbors in their apartments at night.
Sure the location of this condo is top notch, but I would never stay in Central Pattaya, I prefer the quiet Cozy Beach / Pratamnak Hill for quiet.

Make sure your on the Walking str side of building. The other side, the parking lot of Central Mall side is so noisy from 7 am. Lot of delivery trucks entering loading bays as well.

On previous visits to Pattaya I've stayed in Hilton and Wave. Love the infinity pool at Hilton but three downsides to the hotel (1) Gym is far too small (2) Hate having to go up in one lift to reception and another to the room. A pain and (3) overpriced. Last trip stayed a week in Wave. Fabulous location, good breakfast but rooms a bit dated. Am staying x2 nights in Sanctuary Pratumnak but wondered if members had stayed in Somerset (nice rooftop pool) and anywhere on Wong Amat beach which looks amazing.

Thank you all for replying and sharing the TIPs, looks like I am ready to try VT6. I booked a partial ocean view room, lets see how it turns out.Did the room you booked show a photo of the exact room you're getting? A 'partial ocean view room' could mean a room on the side of the building right beside the Hilton monstrosity and all you see is a TINY sliver of the water. If ocean view is important to you pay for ocean view.

TIA.Higher floors (above 14th) are as good as free of mosquitos. What I am carefull to book is Walking Street side or pool side. Cooking facilities vary from apartment to apartment. Who wants to cook in Thailand? Mirrors and how soft the mattress is matter more IMO.

When booking just say you want housekeeping to come by x times a week and I'm sure most hosts will arrange that for you without any problems for an extra charge of 300-500 baht per time. The rate for one time housekeeping with change of linen at VT6 for a 90 m2 condo is 1000 Baht. If you stay more than 3 weeks buying a cheap vacuum cleaner might be a good idea. So much for Thailand being a low-wage country.

Planning to revisit in March but only for 4-5 days. Booked 2 days in Bella Villa Prima to be near the the big soapies and remaining days will book either LK empress or flipper lodge near the beach Road.
I like the location of LK empress (right on the beach Road) and saw few recent reviews here. How are Bella Villa Prima and flipper lodge hotels for our hobby?
Hey, spent around 3-4 weeks in Pattaya last Aug / Sept as a trial run. Found hotel recommendations here and ended up booking KTK Hotel for most of my stay. Had a great time!
The hotel has spacious rooms with comfy beds, a decent kitchen, and a good bathroom. The shower pressure was a bit meh, but after years of regular travel, I think it's an international issue that needs a UN task force to fix. Most other guests were Chinese / Korean / Indian. I never made it to breakfast on time, but Siam Lounge across the street had good late breakfast option at lunchtime. Alex Bar was my go-to for drinks and snacks, and there's a 7/11 and an ATM nearby.
Now, I'm heading back to Pattaya in April / May for another 3 weeks. Debating whether to stick with KTK or try something new, I took a chance with Page 10 after seeing their rooms on Agoda. They're smaller than KTK but look better, the rooftop bar and pool was a selling point as well. Checked the map and noticed that Hemingway is close, along with a few massage spots and another 7/11.
If anyone has experience staying at Page 10, feel free to share!

The massage shop directly across the street has a good selection but you need to negotiate their higher asking prices down.Booked this for 3 days based on the suggestions here. Great little hotel, very helpful staff. Small selection of breakfast but was good. Excellent location close to Beach Road and Second Road, tons of restaurants, money exchange, pubs nearby. Walkable to both Soi6 and Walking Street and Girl Friendly. Highly recommended.
Would you not consider the Bayview, same good location as the Wave, but better price.I am going to Pattaya in April and will be staying at Bayview. Can anyone tell me whether it's possible to take a girl back to the room? Or do they create problems? Can't stay at another hotel as I am getting an excellent deal there due to a vacation club membership.
No girls don't adjust their rates higher or lower just because your hotel is nice or not. On the contrary, you may find girls who will stay a bit longer with you if you're in a nicer place. But you did say you want LT at the Hilton so you will now be paying LT prices, not ST ones.
Just make up some BS story that you only have this room because you're using company points.I've had more than one girl come back for short time and stay LT for the same price because the room was nice.

I usually stay in Bangkok these days, and never paid more than 500 THB, not even last summer when staying a 10 minute walk from Soi Cowboy in a posh 2 BR condo. Bed sheets I wash myself though, as I know how to use the washing machine and wash in the morning means dry in the evening.

Hey guys, I work in the airlines and travel standby which sometimes results in delays or cancellations. Can anybody shed insight into any pitfalls I might find if I book my hotel when I arrive to Thailand? Will the prices be exorbitant? Nice rooms / guest friendly or convenient places booked up?
My dates are arrive Feb. 28th til March 7th.
Thanks in advance!

I have checked out, so I might as well review the hotel I stayed at.
Best Beach Villa, right in the middle of Soi 5. Equal distance to both second and beach road. I would say the rooms are a good value. They are large, there is ample space, room to work on a laptop if you've brought it, and places to charge your phone right next to the bed on either side.
The only downside is the breakfast is a little lack luster if you want a western breakfast. Eggs on the buffet were fried medium, a little runny. The meat selection is only chicken sausage and slices of ham. Bread selection was white, wheat, various rolls and buns, and silver dollar pancakes and french toast (though the later two, not both at the same time).
They also had a Thai selection, fried rice, pork, chicken, etc. Fruits were cut watermellon, mango and pineapple.
Worst part was the hot drinks. Tea brewed in bulk from lipton, coffee seemed to be the real deal, but they have both sitting on a hot plate and it very often ends up boiling both. I was able to ask the kitchen to make an omelet as well as fried egg hard though.
I didn't use the pool nor gym, but it was available. No issues with bringing back a girl.
Noise was acceptable. It never kept me up.
If you are going to spend your time on soi 6, this is probably the best value you can get.

I saw that many people recommend VT6.
1. Are there any legit vendors from which you can rent apartments at VT6.
I want to make sure I'm not renting from a shady website.
2. How is it bringing guests to VT6 versus a hotel? Is there a reception? Do they take their ID?
3. Can you bring multiple gusts?
Thanks.

These 2 are well known website for VT6 since years.

3. Can you bring multiple gusts?
Some condos will ask for ID card, some condos will not blink a eye and ask nothing to your guest.
In the condos you can bring back home guests you want, important is not disturb your neighbors.

Thanks.1) If you are in Pattaya just walk in and ask in the offices lining the ground floor.
2) Yes reception take the IDs of all visitors.
3) Yes you can. At no additional cost.
What more do you want?Maybe he wanted some other meat than chicken and had no taste for the ubiquitous floating sausages (90% bone-flour) or for the floating slabs of non-descript ham. Real bacon. Some cheese. Some real (non-fake) yoghurts. Maybe he expected some fresh fruit juice (instead of industrial crap laced with sugar). Some fiber-rich fruit instead of the ubiquitous water-melon (is there a law in Thailand prohibiting hotels from offering more than three kinds of fruit at breakfast?). Some real bread instead of the zero-nutritious aspirin-white toasts.
Breakfasts in Thailand are abysmal, much like food overall. Thai food is delicious they say, except it's low in proteins, high in salt, sugar and irritants. What can you expect? Custom duties on healthy food like beef, dairy, vinegar, olive oil etc. are extortionate. Plus, Thais are lazy and not interested in doing cooking that makes sense. Catering for tourists? Forget it: more like cattle-feed the tourists. Eggs are only the sole nutritious food in Thai breakfasts, except to get a fried egg that is not runny you need to ask umpteen times, like it was rocket science. Cheap, cheaper, cheapest: the governing principle of catering in Thailand.

If you have free time you can walk in the sort of reception area and ask several agents what's on offer. Plenty of empty Units at the moment so you can get the best deal. In terms of guests no issues. And if you lack sleep choose a condo facing Walking street direction. Central Festival side get so noisy from 7 am esp the parking lot and loading bays with trucks deliveries.
Thanks.

I am travelling to pattaya on first week of April. And I found this good private pool villa "villa raya private pool resort" in north pattaya. It is 5. 5 km from walking street which will be a 15 min drive. My only concern is can I pick a girl from walking street or sio 6 to this place? Will the distance will be a problem for them?
The reason I chose this place is to fulfill one of my wild fantasy of banging a girl in the pool.

If she lives in Jomtien you may need to add 100-200 baht for Bolt. ST could pose some problems though if the girl has to return to her gogo bar on Walking Street.

Stayed at hard rock (Had Lok to the scooter taxis) 5 days last week. Definitely recommend city view due to noise- could hear the music loud until midnight or so. But bringing ladies from soi 6 is a breeze. Half just walked with me, and going in from beach road you can just go straight to the elevator- didn't have to bother with girls checking in or leaving ID. The breakfast buffet looked real tasty but everything there is overpriced. But room was nice and staff was awesome. Looking for something similar- close to soi 6 -but a little cheaper if anyone has any suggestions.

Only been here once and loved the beach. For me the best in the entire area. But a bit out of the action.
Does anyone have a hotel recommendation in the area?
I'm not a fan of bar-fining (prefer GC or on premises Soi 6 etc) so not bothered about joiner fees etc. Just wanted a recommendation for a good top end hotel on the beach.

Right next door to Soi 6.
Hi All,
I am planning to spend about a week in Pattaya in April and so far considering the following:
1) Hard Rock. Seems to be a bit of a walk to walking street.
2) Avani Pattaya. Although some posts in the forums seem to say this place is not girl friendly.
3) Hilton - 20 min walk?
4) Amethyst. Also a 20 min walk or so?
I don't mind spending a little bit more to stay at a nicer spot assuming it is closer to walking street but it appears that anything "nice" is farther away given it's "walking street" haha. Any recommendations for girl friendly hotels that is on the "higher end" of comfort / amenities but realistic to bring girls back to?

The return path goes via second road.

From Amethyst you can catch the baht bus on Soi Buakhoa where you get off on 2nd road. I returned on 2nd road and got off at the little mall.
The baht busses run both directions on Soi Buakhoa.

Anyone who have stayed at this hotel. Thourght it was a good location as between Jomtien and Phratamnak.
Thanks.
Be.It is a nice, old, well kept, Old European Style- elegant Thai style hotel. It has great 'bones' probably great history, it has a wonderful view, great outdoor F&be venue (terrible music and service but good food). It is next door to the Condo (VT5 c) which I have stayed in the past 3 monthly visits. It has a very nice pool and restaurant adjoining it, I suspect it is very clean- I believe it was closed for COVID much longer than most hotels, but I think much of the staff stayed on, I have never seen it very busy (but I have only observed May-Aug). It is a elegant old hotel serving European and Highend Thai guests where I don't think you will see many TF or "ladies" around- maybe that is what you want.
Be sure to understand that it's front is on a very small beach front road which in the past has not wanted or allowed much traffic so- to the Jomtien side 300 yards is the corner of Jomtien Beach Road and Jomtien Soi 0, to the right is a very nice beach front drive / walk of about a mile to Phratamnak- no Bhat Bus, maybe Bolt- there is some walking involved. Cheers.

Can I bring multiple girls same day for short time like one in afternoon, one in evening and one at night?Stayed at many different hotels around Pattaya.
I don't know any that do not allow multiple girls or even at the same time.
I do get charged extra if more that one girl for breakfast and the looks on the faces are worth every cent.
I recently did this at the Hilton. Absolutely no issue, extra charge, or even a checkin with the reception.

I would think not as front-desk only checks girls as they come (and forget about them once they're gone).

Years ago I rent it from the owner of a massage shop inside. Make shure you are looking at seaside and you go to an upper floor. Much calmer there.
No problems to bring girls (also more than one) inside. Many cusomers with ladyboys there.

Stayed in 5/6 different condos and never had an issue.
I stayed in four different hotels in Central Pattaya. I liked them all except one. I found all of them by simply reading this tread and following up. My suggestion is that anyone who needs information about hotels in Pattaya all then need to do is read this thread. There is a lot of good information here.

Cheers!Usually these villas with pool are located in jomtien, not in the middle of the pattaya action.
Bear in mind they are still in a neighbourhood. That means other residential houses are nearby and from some one might see what happens in the pool area.

You've been warn!Second the motion.
1. Are you comfortable chewing up 40 minutes round trip trip to Central Pattaya and back?
2. Noise might be more of a problem than visuals in my opinion. Find out if there is a homeowners association and the quiet hours for where you will be staying. Take your freak parties (multiple girls) inside when they are in force or keep the noise down. I had a friend who went to a fancy resort and was fined 2500 THB for "lovemaking noises" that were disturbing other guests.
Good advice. Most pool villas have high fences around the pool for privacy, but you have to check.Villas with multi-storey buildings nearby are not discreet. From high above you can often see everything happening in the pool area. Example: villas near View Talay Residence 2 in Jomtien.

Would you not consider the Bayview, same good location as the Wave, but better price.Booking dot com says the Bayview is not gest friendly. 1000 bht / guest / registration as per their FAQ.
Any confirmation?
Got no response here so wrote direct to Bayview. Response below.
There is a registration fee of THB1,000 / guest / registration, however for bookings made via our hotel website (http://www.thebayviewpattaya.com) we are happy to waive this fee. To receive this waiver, please book for 2 people when making your booking, even if you are checking in alone.
I'm open to other suggestions of a 4-5 star on the beach that is EASY girl friendly without fine print.
LK empress where I stayed last seems to have bad reviews as its running down.
Anything clear on Pattaya Discovery Beach hotel. Seems to be friendly and not friendly depending on source. Wrote to them directly. 3 days no response = bad sign.
There are also houses with pools that are not open above. The pool is under a shelter.Sure, but it has not to be taken for granted. So a word of caution is always recommended. It can be a detail not openly clear by the pictures or by descriptions.
Sometime the "secluded" pool can be in one villa and not in the others.
I found the Flipper Lounge to be in a good location, girl friendly, tight security, breakfast buffet and an overall good value.
Stayed there for one night lately, I booked their superior room for around 2 K including breakfast.
I completely forgot that soi 7 was a girly bar's soi and confused that place with another one when I booked it, but I booked it a bit in a hurry.
My first impression when I entered the room was that I didn't really liked it much but later thought it's not bad at all.
The whole building (which is small BTW, only 7 floors plus rooftop) seems to be made using very good quality materials. They've got a fitness room with fresh free bottle waters (not really big but good size if you're alone inside), a nice swimmingpool on the rooftop, and a very good quality sauna (not on the same floor than the swimmingpool).
Wifi was excellent in my room, and they offer some complementary snack and two cans of coke and sprite in the room. That's not expensive for them, but it comes as a good move compared to many other places getting the mini bar full of very over priced products. Breakfast was correct too, and it is served untill late (11 am). The location is great, around the middle of the soi (closer to second road), only 5 minutes walking distance to Central festival, you can easily reach soi 6 or WS using the baht bus.
One can still hear the bars once in the room, but it's not loud so I could sleep very well there. Aircondition is very efficient and built in the roof of the room, so it's not directed to the bed like in some very bad built rooms.
The only thing I didn't like was the disposition of my room (which looked a bit small too) and there were not designed places to hang the wet towels.
They've got some weird rules too, like forbidding their guest to bring in food or beverage from the outside, making some references to Whisky or wine (maybe they want to keep drunkards out of the place).
To summarize, 2 K seemed a bit pricey, but if oen can get it at around 1,6 K would be an excellent deal in my opinion.

I am interested if anyone can make a direct comparison for me.
1. They both seem to be the same quality hotel, true? (safety, cleanliness, wifi).
2. Avalon has joiner policy: if you sign up for two people, first guest is free and second guest is 1000 baht (I know this is true as the manager just emailed me this morning).
Amethyst is unlimited guest (I think this is true). Both are definitely girl friendly. True?
3. What is the relative distance of each to the action? The amethyst is 20 minute walk to Soi 6, true? I think the Avalon is further away. Is a taxi / Bolt difficult to get at 2 am?
4. Do either hotel have a decent gym, with a minimum of free weights and a usable treadmill?
5. How does one get a quiet room at either place?
Incidentally, the Avalon gives a huge discount if one books 120 days in advance. I am going to Pattaya Jan 6. So I have almost 2 months to get this discount.
Any help with my final concerns would be extremely useful. Thanks, MG.

LK empress where I stayed last seems to have bad reviews as its running down.
...There's a brand new hotel right opposite LK Empress. It's called Hermann Hotel. I'd be curious what kind of pool they have. I need a pool at least shoulder-deep as I like to do my own aquarobics. A couple of months ago Hermann Hotel still looked like some rooms were still unfinished, but the hotel was operating all right.
The problem with LK Empress is not so much its being run-down as its Indian customers making a racket at all hours.
I tried to get hold of a pool-view room at Areca Lodge for september but they were all booked-up on Agoda and Trip dot com. Other rooms at Areca Lodge are no good.

Maytara Hotel & Spa
I recommend it. Good location. Right on the Baht Bus line. Walk to everything I like to indulge in. Large (for a hotel) well appointed rooms. Girl Friendly. Security is a bit lax. I did not find it to be a problem. Pool and Spa onsite. Did not partake.

Maytara HotelMaytara was almost the first hotel I booked on my very first trip. They're still using some of the same photos from nearly 10 years ago! I opted for Tweet Tweet Nest on Soi 8 instead as Soi 7 and 8 were 2 hot sois way back when. Here's a video looks like Tweet Tweet Nest is called The Weekend now. The rooms were nice nearly 10 years ago.

A hotel that I did not like. Cannot recommend it. Hard to put my finger on exactly why I did not like it. Rooms were small. Two twin beds I had to push together. I just got a bad vibe from the place. Stayed there two nights. It just did not represent a good value to me. Especially after staying in the Flipper Lounge.
1. Maytara (good value and location).
2. Flipper Lounge (excellent security and location).

I have one more hotel to try before I declare my all time favorite hotel for the area.
A comment was made which by passive aggressive inference implied that I am a dead beat because I am writing hotel reviews.
Did you get Evicted from your Apartment?Doesn't your alter ego Forty Drinks (AKA: BBFS guy; AKA Edward Tenderfoot realize that I don't live in Thailand? That I have never visited Thailand? That everything in my posts are made up stories with geographical details that are gathered from Google maps?
Now you and your ilk can choose to believe this Although your beliefs would be shattered by just meeting me at the Bus Bar and having a drink. I got the first round. Man to man conversations can ensue.
Or you can take a look at one of many reasons given below by another poster:
I have friends that have lived in Pattaya a long time that only get chicks from gogos and only take them to short time love motels like Viva. They do not want to stay the night with them and they do not want them in their homes. Now, may I get back to giving reviews based on my experiences?
Or would the majority of readers prefer for me to just STFU. Last time I checked I was not getting paid by the word to write these posts and make a contribution to the Thailand Threads. I do it because others have provided information to them that I have found useful and I wish to give back. The post by the OP above is an example. I did not know about Viva until he mentioned it.
Thanks you Mr. E!

I'm considering to book the Altera Hotel for my upcoming trip. It gets rather good reviews on Tripadvisor, but there are no recent reviews mentioning the wifi. Is it fast and steady?
I have to do some work during my holiday, so I need good wifi. Alternatively I can use the bluetooth tethering of my phone to connect to, but that didn't work very well last time I was in Thailand (April).

The USB typically works best for my situation.

The first night they upgraded me to a suite room in their second building. I thought the room was very good with a good wifi too.
I extended for another night and moved to a standard room very close to the suite. I wouldn't recommend to stay in that type of room, wifi was not very good in that room.
If wifi is very important, Blackwoods looked way better in my experience.
Thanks Paolo99. The suite was exactly what I had in mind.

By the way is Somerset's pool deep enough? I mean shoulder-deep? Or is it an "infinity" pool like in most high-rise hotels?Somerset pool is about 1. 8 m deep only. The usual token infinity pool. Overall not bad. But I think its quite open for the 24th floor. WINDY!
LK renovations not that major. But for some reason there is stench. Like water / sewage leaks and a dampness in the room. Stayed there once. Loved it. Next stay I had to leave. So 50-50.
Viva Luv Motel
Arrived via Bolt. Was met by the attendant. The attendant advised 300 THB for short time (3 hours) 700 THB Long Time (all night). I paid cash. No ID needed. The attendant assigned me a room. My girls arrived and came upstairs. Was advised that they were stopped by the attendant and told that because of my extra guest. I had to pay an additional 150 THB (that is some bullshit)! So, I told her to get an extra towel.
Room
Is clean, big, but you cannot control the air conditioner and I found it to be hotter than I am comfortable with. Lights, minor control unimpressive. Bed fine, little soft for me but I won't be sleeping in it. Pillow ok. Real towels. Bathroom: hot water available with average pressure. Mobile shower head is more like the rain type than shower massage. Bathroom is big. Television was tiny.
Impressions
I actually like the short term hotel close my princesses standing under the palm trees on Beach Road much better (don't start mother fuckers and you know who you are). Because Viva is short on mirrors and I love that shit. I felt the uncharge for my additional guest was a straight jack (450 total for Short Time) and did not appreciate it. Nor do I think it is a good value. I do not know if there is an extra charge at the short time hotel but I will investigate it.
My girls enjoyed me so much that they have scheduled a all nighter with me and I'm going to get a real hotel for that. It will actually be a better value. Closer to other venues so we can entertain ourselves when not in the room. You can get rooms for 650 THB that have full size refrigerators.

Anyone wonder how I can provide such detailed information from a basement in Richmond? To each his own with accommodations but Viva has been my go to place ST, for years. I enjoy the place so does my regular. The extra charge is be. S. I've never paid for a guest and I've been there at time of paying with the girl or waited.
I use Love Inn, location where the set of GC are located, 275, but the place is dark for my test, also on Soi Honey is a small service apartment place called Star Inn, it is close to the King Kong burger rooms are small, available for ST, if rooms not full. Note a real small place but nice in my opinion. In Walking Street, you can try the ST room next to Palace, or Soi 15, Tony's also has rooms.

Are you saying the attendant ripped me off by charging me extra for two girls? From your post, there was a joiner fee of 150 baht for the second girl. Not unusual.
From your post, there was a joiner fee of 150 baht for the second girl. Not unusual. That is fucked up Ok, if it is a legit fee. I did not know. But I just paid. Was not going to let 150 THB stand in the way of my my threesome. It was straight off the chain! Should I write it up?
That 150 THB joiner fee is a straight up JACK! I would rather pay 650 THB and get a room for the entire night. Only negative to that is that check in usually after 2 PM in regular hotels. A love motel is good for anytime of the day or night.
But I am going take the time to say that I was only reporting on my experiences and was not intending to gore anyone ox who likes to get their fuck on up in Viva. But the owners could take lessons from the cabana owners in the Dominican Republic. Because Viva in the Dominican Republic would be considered bargin basement compared to just the average Cabana room in the Dominican Republic.
You can hit the cabanas known to be more upscale or just an upscale room with 80" TVs, jacuzzis and two story rooms, specially designed sex furniture, BDSM equipment, music. Food delivery from local restaurants. It is a completely different experience other than just the bed, toilet and shower that the Viva provides. But it seems they have somewhat of a monopoly so it is a cash cow that the owners are just milking.

Which one would you recommend between Grand Ave & VT6?
Things I am looking for are a king size bed, fast / reliable WiFi, gym access and a usable kitchen. (a nice sofa / couch is nice too for the action).
The last time I was in Pattaya, I rented at Edge. It was nice and I posted a report here (http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/forum/showthread.php?1875-Pattaya-Hotels&p=2872146#post2872146) but in retrospect, the rooms are small and only a queen bed.
I am also considering Base but read here that WiFi is slow not dedicated?) and water pressure in the shower may be slow.
Which one would you recommend between Grand Ave & VT6? I have not stayed at Grand Ave. View Talay 6 is the spot I would pick if I ever needed longer term vacation accommodations.
Things I am looking for are a king size bed, Yes, King size bed with mirrors. Oh hell yeah the mirrors!
fast / reliable WiFi, No complaints about the WiFi.
gym accessWent to Sun Fitness and still do. It is short walk right off Soi Buakhao.
a usable kitchen.Outstanding.
(a nice sofa / couch is nice too for the action).Yes, quite comfortable.
Make sure you choose the deluxe cleaning package if you book through dance watchers. Cleaning crew in your room six days a week and complete change of bedding they will wash your dishes. My last stay was a year ago. But I have two friends staying there now. They both get the same rooms every visit if possible. Been hanging out in both their rooms and they are simply outstanding in my opinion. Plus get a beach view, cannot be beat.

Things I am looking for are a king size bed, fast / reliable WiFi, gym access and a usable kitchen. (a nice sofa / couch is nice too for the action). This is tough to answer. Like the Edge and the Base, Grand Avenue and VT6 are condos primarily owned by individual owners. Yes, they may be rented out by a property manager but things like WIFI, furniture, things in the kitchen depend on what the individual owner has bought for his unit. If this matters at all Grand Avenue is only around 5 years old and 20+ years newer than VT6.

Yes, they may be rented out by a property manager but things like WIFI, furniture, things in the kitchen depend on what the individual owner has bought for his unit. If this matters at all Grand Avenue is only around 5 years old and 20+ years newer than VT6.All that you said is true. But if you rent the units that are part of the DanceWatchers organization in View Talay 6 things are different. I know the owner personally. He has standards that are requirements for upgrades of the rooms that the organization manages. So, if an owner will not meet the standards of the organization their unit will be dropped from the management program. I cannot vouch for the rooms rented by other room managers.
No statement about "VT 6" as a whole can be valid. There's no "VT 6" as there is, for instance, "Hotel Areca Lodge". Condos in VT6 are privately owned and go from rund-down to freshly renovated. I'm done with VT6. Wherever you rent, there will always be renovation work going on below, above, or next to your unit. I also resented spending so much time in the elevators or waiting for the elevators. The 3 elevators can no longer cope with the influx. The unrentable units in the lower floors on the Hilton side are occupied by laundry shops. Laundry women returning laundry add to the elevator misery.
One girl who visited me at VT6 told me The Edge was infinitely better but I cannot confirm this.
Property owners in Pattaya should have availed themselves of Covid to upgrade, instead they did nothing. Now they renovate drip-drop hoping guests will not mind. The result is facilities getting increasingly run-down and guests plagued by noise all the same.
On a side note, one thing I find irksome in Pattaya as a whole is designers/owners nearly always contriving to have either no mirror in the bedroom, or a mirror offset from the bed so as to be no good for sex.
Like the location of Vt 3 A, guess many of the comments that applies to Vt 6 also applies to Vt 3, is there anybody that has specific expirience with Vt 3?
Cheers.
Be.
EDGE: was the keyword I used. Took the search function 20.53 seconds to find the posts below. That is how I use the search function. Takes seconds not hours. Try it out sometime for yourselves.
Close to the LK metro bars and walking distance to Walking Street & Soi 6.

imo too close. On a related note how is the food in the restaurant these days? I remember eating there a couple of times many years ago and the food was decent.

Thanks Banana Boi, SumCmdr & XXL.
I ended up going with a 1 bedroom condo in Grand Avenue as it had a gym. Dancewatchers only had studios available for my price point but I agree, great build quality / finishes inside from their promotional video. Next time, I will try to book these in advance so that I have more choices to make.
I agree, more condo owners / hotels should put more mirrors by the (king) beds. Can turn a 4 to a 6/10 .
Bangkok: Stayed at S15 and The Landmark. I would recommend both. S15 a bit cheaper with good central location in between Nana and cowboy. Landmark was much fancier and right next to nana plaza.
Pattaya: Stayed at Aya boutique hotel. It was good for bringing girls back since it's so close to walking street, but the hotel wasn't very nice. It looked better online IMO. Also did a night at the Arbour hotel which was much nicer, but sorta far from the action. Can't really recommend either.
All hotels were girl friendly. BTW I managed to snag some surprisingly good deals on last minute bookings, mostly through agoda. I am talking like 50-60% off on some of these rooms. Maybe I just got lucky.
APEX
My favorite goto hotel for deep penetration activities. For me the location, size of the room. Amenities in the room, Hotel Security. Facilities, Still has it as one of my favorite places in Pattaya.
As I mentioned in a previous post last time I wanted a room they were all booked up. With so many hotels in Pattaya it was just a matter walking around and finding something in the area I wanted to be in. I went around the corner from the APEX.

Doing a last-minute trip for a week Pattaya!. Done Bangkok and Phuket on other trips but will be first time Pattaya.
From what I gathered, staying somewhere along or within walking distance from the beach is preferable, somewhere between WS and North Pattaya? ( Central Marina).
Was curious if anyone had any recommendations between the following ones!
- Siam at Siam.
- Heeton Concept Hoten.
- Amber Hotel.
I was wildly considering doing a split stay and move to AVANI later during my stay as it then gets some cheaper days. But I think I rather stay the whole trip in one place.
I like the modern style, walk in shower and not feel like a shoe box haha. Bathtub would be nice to, but for places that have separate shower and tub it seems then I either have to go for a slightly more dated hotel or higher priced.

The Premier rooms of the Amethyst Hotel have a separate shower and tub. Very nice hotel but it can be difficult to book, depending on the dates you want to stay there, because it's rather popular.
Also be aware that the Premier rooms are very noisy from early in the afternoon until at least 2 AM in the night, because they are all on the east side of the hotel, close to the bars at Soi Buakhao.

As for location, that depends on a couple of things. First, are you familiar with the geography? Second, how do you feel about moto-taxis, Bolt & Grab? If your geographic knowledge is limited, or you prefer walking and the baht bus to taxis, I'd recommend choosing a hotel that's within 1,000 meters of the Central Mall. From there you can easily walk to Soi LK Metro, Soi Buakhao, Soi Chaiyapoon, Soi Lengkee and the beer bar complexes (Tree Town & Myth Night). You're also steps away from the northbound baht buses on Second Rd. (to Soi 6) and the southbound baht buses on Beach Rd. (to Walking Street). If you're more familiar with the city, and more willing to use taxis (moto, Bolt & Grab) you can expand your lodging search.
Take a look at Soi 10, between Second Rd. and Beach Rd. Several hotels there that might fit your spec.
If you have coin, View Talay 6 is my hands down favorites. All of my friends that did not take my advice regretted it.

Thanks for the tips.
Meanwhile I booked, ended up with the Arden Hotel. Sort of between Soi 6 and LK metro not to far from central mall either. Mostly due to the seperate bathtub and walk-in shower. I hate showers in tubs, a room for me at least needs to have walk-in showers. If I can get a seperate tub its bonus.
I am somewhat familiar with the gheographics, although it's been a while it was a short visit and I haven't been to all the spots that time. But I don't mind a hike myself, I'll walk from LK Metro to WS and back to soi 6 along the beach. That's me, but once I pickup a girl that obviously changes. But ye any local transport works at that point.
Will let you know how the hotel is after the trip.

If you have coin, View Talay 6 is my hands down favorites. All of my friends that did not take my advice regretted it.VT6 has easy access to Beach Road. There is a back gate with keyed entry, so you can slip out at midnight and browse the many ladies standing on Beach Road.
If you're interested in girls that work the Coconut Bar, one of the advantages for some for that location is that there is no bar fine, nor Lady drinks to buy.
If you wish to hire a Princess standing under the Palm Trees for Short Time there is actually zero reason to get a hotel room for the night. The Love Inn has short time rooms available for 250 THB.
I would NEVER take a strange prostitute to my room from ANY venue. But that is me. I also dont let girls sit on my face either!
Flipper Lodge is close to Beach Road. I have stayed there. They have excellent security. I like that hotel. But book early. This is high season and it fills up quickly.
I found the Flipper Lodge to be in a good location, girl friendly, tight security, breakfast buffet and an overall good value.
Maytara Hotel & Spa
I recommend it. Good location. Right on the Baht Bus line. Walk to everything I like to indulge in. Large (for a hotel) well appointed rooms. Girl Friendly. Security is a bit lax. I did not find it to be a problem. Pool and Spa onsite. Did not partake.
More information can be found on Google Maps.
Natural Beach Hotel
A hotel that I did not like. Cannot recommend it. Hard to put my finger on exactly why I did not like it. Rooms were small. Two twin beds I had to push together. I just got a bad vibe from the place. Stayed there two nights. It just did not represent a good value to me. Especially after staying in the Flipper Lodge.
1. Maytara (good value and location).
2. Flipper Lodge (excellent security and location).
3. Natural Beach Hotel (cannot recommend).

I'm booked at VT6 in Feb (Thanks for the tip, SubCmdr!) Is the keyed gate accessible from the outside?Yes, they give you a key for the back gate.
I have had zero problems bringing a lady back to my VT6 room.
I'm booked at VT6 in Feb (Thanks for the tip, SubCmdr!) Is the keyed gate accessible from the outside? The gate on Beach Road gives you access to the underground parking lot but from there you still need to walk up a flight of stairs leading to reception. So the answer is no. The Beach Road gate makes it easier for VT6 people to access beach road and to come home back from beach road, that's all. You cannot use it to smuggle in girls unnoticed.
I'm booked at VT6 in Feb (Thanks for the tip, SubCmdr!) Is the keyed gate accessible from the outside?Short answer is yes. They need to show their ID. Just make sure you chica proof your room. You don't have to smuggle a girl in. VT6 is a fuck palace. They are girl friendly. So I don't know where this idea comes from. Plenty of girls have walked in with me from many different venues. The girls that work the Coconut Bar are no different from any others prostitute you can hire in Pattaya in my opinion. There are those that disagree with me. But this newbie just does not give a fuck what you think!

Security doesn't screen them, just sign them in.

Planning March trip to pattaya and looking at hotel options. Do most rooms have a safe. I see listed many places but just to confirm, it's in the room and not at front desk? Thanks.Nearly all hotels have in room safes. The rare exceptions might be a very inexpensive room. You can always look at the hotel's website or email them directly. I have never stayed in a Pattaya hotel that doesn't have an in room safe.
Dear All,
I will be staying in pattaya on 24-25 Dec. Due to budget constraints, I will mainly focus on the freelancers on the beach Road.
Is it better to take a hostel and rent room on suggestion of the girl for ST or take a hotel room and sneak her in?
Thanks.

Thanks.Short time room near Beach Road named Love Inn on Soi 13/2 is 250 a session for short time. I do not recommend violating the rules where you stay unless you are prepared to deal with the repercussions of doing that.
I've got a weekend coming up with a fwb and looking for the best hotel to embarrass / show her publicly. Only constraint is "not too crowded, like less than 7-8 people watching at a time". Seeking recommendations for:
1. Hotels with shared pools offering such levels of crowd.
2. Girly bars not too crowded where I can take her commando in a short skirt.
3. Night clubs for her to wear next to nothing.
4. Day time pool / foam parties.
Budget isn't any constraint.
