Hi.

This will be my first time in Pattaya.

I generally like freelancers vs club gals. So I am planning to stay at Lido beach hotel which is easy access to freelancers on beach Road plus be able to easily go to walking street.

Any feedback about Lido beach hotel. Any reason to NOT stay there?

If you have coin, View Talay 6 is my hands down favorites. All of my friends that did not take my advice regretted it.I 100% agree on this, and would definitely buy a unit if I was in position to do so. The units / rooms are huge, the location is unbeatable, and they have endless services on the 3rd floor (massage, market, restaurant, dry cleaning, ATM).

They have airbnbs from owners but they're always booked. They also have listings on booking.com.

Avani Pattaya is my second favorite, but yes as far as condos go, this one is the best. IMO.

Unfortinately, multiple WGs have said it is the “#1 for expat balcony jumping” so it no surprise many of the terraces have nets.

View Talay 6

Rooms range from 4700 - 1400/night (High season) from Dancewatchers.

The longer your rent the lower the price per night that you pay. But their rooms are very popular and if you do not make reservations before high season your options may be limited.

Choose the deluxe cleaning package if you want your room cleaned spotless 5 days a week. The crew that cleans your room are top notch consummate professionals and they are very good at what they do.

I left them 500/ week per cleaning tech plus a lady drink.

They have a excellent website and their pictures are accurate. I have been in four different rooms that they offer in View Talay 6.

They also offer rooms in View Talay 5, View Talay 2, View Talay 1, but all of these buildings are located in Jomtien and I know nothing about them.

https://www.dancewatchers.com/

*all prices in THB.

All that you said is true. But if you rent the units that are part of the DanceWatchers organization in View Talay 6 things are different. I know the owner personally. He has standards that are requirements for upgrades of the rooms that the organization manages. So, if an owner will not meet the standards of the organization their unit will be dropped from the management program. I cannot vouch for the rooms rented by other room managers.

Flipper Lodge is close to Beach Road. I have stayed there. They have excellent security. I like that hotel. But book early. This is high season and it fills up quickly. Some time they were copying their guests credit cards there so I'm not sure I would recommend that place.

Planning March trip to pattaya and looking at hotel options. Do most rooms have a safe. I see listed many places but just to confirm, it's in the room and not at front desk? Thanks.Indeed as far as I know all hotels in Pattaya (and from my limited experience in Bangkok near mongering venues) have in-room safes. At one time I wrongly assumed this was the case throughout Thailand but it isn't. Once you stray away from foreign tourism or sex-tourism spots, no more safes in the rooms.

Flipper Lodge Hotel

It is an excellent hotel that has a 4. 1 rating in Google. It has an excellent location. Tight security and reasonable nightly rates. One negative is the walls are paper thin. You are going here your neighbor putting in work if they have the ability to do so. I pay cash when I stay there. Scan to pay is also a option.

Some time they were copying their guests credit cards there so I'm not sure I would recommend that place. If you are not using a credit card then how is it a problem? This makes no sense to me.

Hi guys,

How is the Base Infinity Apartment from Air BnB.What you need to know about The Base? Is a huge complex condo with 3 buildings in Central Pattaya just next soi Diana.
Super small tiny apartment.
There is absolutely no control about who come and go, no ID card check for the girls, elevator need key card so you need to go down to meet your girls and bring them upstair.
I met several girls from TF who lived there.

Does anyone know of a ST room (can be a hotel that will allow ST) in the surroundings of Soi 6?

Not in a bar, not in a hotel that requires checking in / out and charging full overnight prices.

I want something simple that I could just use for like 2-3 hours with a girl and minimum hassle.

Thanks in advance.

Are any of these hotels green?

I stayed in Amari Pattaya last time but did not bring any girls to the hotel, it seemed like a completely family oriented one.

Thinking about Akara Pattaya this time but they have not replied to my emails about their policy yet.

Any experience here, please share.

Thanks!!

I stayed at the Amethyst. It is a very nice hotel, albeit a little pricey. It is near a lot of the action, if that is what you are looking for. Not much need for taxis or Bolt.

There is a no smoking policy but most rooms seemed to have a bakcony (mine had an ashtray on it). There is a marijuana store across the street from the hotel.

100 percent guest friendly without a fee. The girl needs to leave her ID at the reception and they call you when she picks it up to leave the hotel to be certain she isn't sneaking out with stolen goods.

In summary, the hotel was perfect for my needs.

3. Then pay the girl for short time?

Just pay the bar for the room, take the girl up, do your thing, then bounce. The ST rate for the girl will be cheaper too because she never leaves the bar.

Anyone knows anything about the Discovery Beach hotel? It's right on Beach Road near soi 6/1. I am planning a trip there in April and I want to know if they are female friendly. If not a hotel near there that is. I don't want a condo or a Airbnb. I appreciate any help.

Hotels to Stay Near Soi 6

If your vacation will revolve around Soi 6, staying nearby is convenient. Here are some recommendations:

1. Sea Me Spring Too Hotel, Location: A 5-minute walk from Soi 6. , Price: $40-$60 per night, Why Choose: Modern rooms, rooftop pool, guest-friendly.

2. Pattaya Blue Sky Hotel, Location: Close to Soi 6, but quieter for better sleep. Price: $30-$50 per night. Why Choose: Affordable, clean, guest-friendly with great reviews.

3. Sabai Wing Hotel, Location: A short walk from Soi 6, Price: $35-$60 per night. Why Choose: Mid-range, good amenities, and guest-friendly.

4. The Siam Guesthouse, Location: On Soi 6, Price: $20-$30 per night. Why Choose: Budget-friendly, right in the heart of the action.
I'll add 2 hotels near Soi 6 on the other side of 2nd road. Most forget to search there so you'll find better rates. If you're on a budget Centara Pattaya Hotel about a 3 minute walk to Soi 6 at 40 USD. Altera Hotel and Residence 4 star hotel about a 4 minute walk at 70-80 USD but for a 45+ sqm room.

I've never stayed at Altera but it does look nice for the price.

The Altera is indeed nice. I have stayed there a couple of times.
The downside of staying here though is, that you have to walk for about 8 minutes if you want to catch a baht bus at Beach Road.

Jomtien Thani Hotel

A hotel that is still under construction but is very close to being finished. I peeped it this morning while out running errands. This could be a four or five star hotel gentlemen. Just walking into the lobby and to the desk I was greeted by no less than five different employees who could all speak perfect English. On Soi 5 between Jomtien Beach Road and 2nd Road, it is located in a great spot. You can catch the Baht Bus to it off of either of the main streets I named above and it is close to walking distance of everything that I think is great in Jomtien. While still under construction they are offering some great deals on rooms. They call them their pre-construction specials.

Example

1500 THB / night for Regular room.

1700 THB / night for Deluxe Ocean View Room.

But this is a limited time offer. The above rates only apply until February 28,2025.

When a newbie has boots on the ground they know much more than a OG Vet about the present no matter how many years they claim to have spent in the Pattaya Glory Days ROTFLMO!

I'm planning for a trip this summer for the last week of July. I was in Pattaya last summer at roughly the same time. I stayed at the Baraquda. When I checked rates today, I saw that rates were roughly 2 x what I paid last year. Have hotel rates gone up that much in a year, or am I trying to book too soon? Last year I booked in mid June for a late July trip.

Just an FYI, you may have no guests at this hotel. They will charge you 800 BHT.

Its not mentioned on their website, but, then they tell you its a property policy.

They are quite brutal about the whole thing, standing in the way of your guest as you both try to enter the elevator.

Do not recommend this property. Imagine if you had family or freinds visiting and they want 800 BHT each. I was pissed and checked out the same day. So many other places to go.

Hoping some of you experts can help me. I've been to Bangkok a number of times but a newbie to Pattaya. I've just started watching some videos but still very much a newbie when it comes to Pattaya. Normally in Bangkok I go for gogo bars in nana or cowboy, and massages. I don't drink and have never really tried the bar scene like I've seen on the soi 6 videos. I could really use a hotel recommendation in Pattaya. Going in early May, mostly interested in the girls (of course). Looking to spend up to $150 a night, hoperfully walking distance to the night scene. Any help would be appreciated.

Use the search function: View Talay 6.

There are a half dozen posts by me an others detailing this particular location. I recommend that you book you room through https://www.dancewatchers.com.

Ask for the deluxe cleaning package. They will even handle your transportation from BKK to Pattaya. Perfect for someone who needs their hand held and refuses to read.

Another personal favorite is: Flipper Lodge Hotel. The advantage of this place is tight security. They will take care of you as a newbie.

If you are a cheap mother fuck: Apex Pattaya Hotel. Good if you don't want to take a street ho to your fancy room.

I suggest that you put a little work in and read. If you need more handholding PM me.

Will return to the land of smiles in one month now that Songkran is over! Sure its fun and I've enjoyed being there the last 3 years its been on but it gets a bit tiring after a few days and the final day last year, whilst memorable, was not something I would want to relive! Let the youngsters fight it out. If they adhered to sun down / guns down I would love it but going out in the evening nicely dressed to get soaked is not my idea of fun.

Anyways. Often rent a condo whilst in Pattaya if there for more than a month but this time have business in BKK so will only be in Pattaya 2 weeks.

I've previously enjoyed many of the 5 stars. Wave (great fro watching beach road activity) but no gym, Hilton (cannot do the two lifts thing any more as it irritates and the gym is way too small despite being close to Coco my favourite gym in Pattaya), Somerset. Not a fan - 2nd road is too manic for me and the rooftop pool area has a great view but is so small that to get a bed ain't easy, and last time out tried a few days at Amethyst just off Bukhauo which was decent enough and heart of things but not scenic. I like Royal cliff for the views and Sanctuary Resort (not 5 stars) - the great vibe of Pratunmak and have also stayed at Sirin.

Have contemplated either Arbour (which looks great in terms of rooms / rooftop pool and great gym) or Avanti. Arbour off 3rd road looks a bit remote? Would welcome views from anyone who stayed in either. Did a forum search on Arbour but one response only not recommending due to location. Would appreciate input.

It is in the very heart of the action near all the bars, near Tree Town, right on Soi Bukhao which you will love, near everything. Not the prettiest area but the hotel is superbly located and you can walk to everything other than Soi 6. As you know already from your trips to BKK, Bolt is so so easy in Thailand. So you need not stay near Soi 6 - the area around it doesn't have a lot to offer. Get a Bolt for next to nothing to Soi 6 and even the soapies up near Siam (Honey 2 etc) but you really want to be in the heart of it all for your first trip and close enough to walk to Walking St as you like agogos. But you should try Kink agogo and the others in LK Metro. Also very close indeed from Amethyst which is a very decent 4/5 star hotel within your budget. Have fun.

I don't drink and have never really tried the bar scene like I've seen on the soi 6 videos. I could really use a hotel recommendation in Pattaya. Going in early May, mostly interested in the girls (of course).I am currently staying in a 'Deluxe' room (B1,050 / $33) at the Queen Victoria Inn on soi 6, -- opposite Tomcats, Offshore, Exotica & Sexy In The City bars. Simple and basic in the heart of the action. Hot water, fridge, kettle, safe, TV, AC + ceiling fan. Draft beers and English / Thai food in the public bar.

My room entrance is from soi 6/1; the few ladyboys quickly learn to ignore you if you don't engage. Fruit stalls, noodle stands and 7-Eleven under 5 minutes' walk east. 7-Eleven sells 30-day, True Move SIM cards for B350 & the staff will register them, with your passport, immediately. 5 minutes' walk to Beach Road but quality of freelancers is quite low; YMMV. Can also hang around that 7-Eleven on the east side of Sai (Road) 2, and ask the good-looking girls, purchasing, which bar they work at. Some Thai teens are taller now, at 170 cm / 5'7".

Hot / low season now but hundreds of girls outnumbering tourists. Can save the bar's upstairs-room fee by walking her back to your room. There are also other properties on soi 6 with regular, guest-house-style rooms upstairs, which are generally more modern than the Queen Vic's. Poorly signed, so ask around. Bars are mostly populated by chubbies / shorties / plain-lookers, plus the occasional hottie who can state her price. Each bar has its own pricing and lady-drink policies. ST B1,500 up into the thousands; LT negotiable; heavy pressure to sell lady drinks to make the girls' quota.

Desire's live stream gives an impression of below-average young ladies. Curiously, they are the only bar with a live stream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jAr4UX6CLM

Thanks.Yes. The room floors were so highly polished that they were dangerously slippery wearing socks. Something was funky with the shower plumbing because it wouldn't maintain a constant temperature.

This was my complaint from a few years ago, but a friend also had the slippery floor complaint last year.

Otherwise, it is quite good.

You say you don't like Pattaya so what made you come to that conclusion on your last visit? I searched for a field report from you but didn't see any.

You're looking at a 4 hour taxi ride so only you can decide if it's worth it. However, imo if you're going to come with a negative attitude you're likely better off to stay where you are and like.

Sometimes you have to switch it up, explore, get out of tourist areas, make some local Thai friends, take part in the culture, get creative, etc.

A day trip to Pattaya is doable, but is it optimal? I don't think so. Thus, If I were you, I would stay in BKK and forgo the roundtrip taxi ride, unless, you have never been to Pat, in which case, I might just go to see what all the hub bub is all about. Girly Pattaya is fucking amazing, but so is BKK. Personally, I think a week is the minimum amount of time to spend in Pattaya and 2 weeks is better than 1,3 weeks better than 2!

Staying at the Kokotel South Beach hotel now and recommend it.

It's just off soi 15, next to Soi Buakhao, but far enough away from bars so that it is quiet.

The WiFi is good and it has a small pool, although I have not used it.

To reduce the use of plastic bottles, they give you two glass bottles and have a water filtered machine on each floor, which you can refill as much as you like.

The room is big and has a large king size, comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly too.

I booked it last minute and got the room for around 1000 a night but without breakfast. Great value at that price, highly recommended.

Soi 2 is OK if you concentrate on Soi 6 for mongering. You can either walk there, or take the baht bus.
However, Sabai Lodge has only an average rating on Tripadvisor. So I wouldn't go there, if I were you.
But I don't know a better alternative in the same price range. Not close to Soi 6 anyway.

View Talay 6 remains my recommendation. Of course if your don't have flow that has allowed you to build your stack then it's not for you. ALL of my friends stay there at my recommendation. They have stayed other places and been unhappy. But View Talay 6 keeps them all happy campers. Of course my crew rolls like I do. So the price is not a problem.

Did anybody stayed at sabai lodge in (s lodge in) on soy 2?

Is it safe, clean, ladies friendly?I often stayed there before covid. Of course it was girlfriendly. At that time they still had a very good breakfast. The pool used to be one of the best in Pattaya, getting plenty of sun and in contact with bedrock. I have no idea what it is like now but I can say the location is ok. It's close to Central Marina shopping mall on 2nd road.

What I found crappy was their aircon which didn't lend itself to tuning. I remember having to either switch off the aircon or keep my window open because the aircon was icy cold.

What are the main benefits to this place? It looks very reasonably priced, but is there specific draw?Location, Location, Location.

Girl Friendly, Good Security, Quiet, many services located in the building are within walking distance. On a baht bus line for 2nd Road and Beach Road. Central Mall located right next to it with a Tops Grocery Store and Food Hall. If you book through dancewatchers.com the rooms are well appointed and large. If you schedule the deluxe cleaning service you will not be disappointed.

But for me it is the location that is the biggest draw. I thought about posting up there long term. But found more affordable options for that. But if I was coming on a vacation I would stay in View Talay 6 each time, every time.

What are the main benefits to this place? It looks very reasonably priced, but is there a specific draw?LOCATION: The ultimate walkable lodging in the heart of Pattaya. Next door to Central Festival Mall. Across the street from the Myth Night beer bar complex, connecting to Soi Made in Thailand, then Soi Buakhao connecting to Tree Town, Soi LK Metro and Soi Boomerang. Condo grounds connect to Beach Road and the baht bus to Walking Street. Main entrance is on Second Road and the baht bus to Soi 6. Moto-taxi stand right outside the front door.

LOGISTICS: Several shops in the VT-6 lobby, including laundries, massage and a convenience store. There is even a small cafe. Next door at Central Festival there is a big food court and an upscale grocery store. Within 500 meters you'll find every conceivable business, shop or store -- including a money exchange, 7-11, barber, seamstress and cinema. Plus the Pattaya Night Bazaar.

LODGING: Several agents handle short term condo rentals. Some of the units are basic and cheap; some are lavish and expensive. Most are in between.

Obviously, I'm a VT-6 fan. But not all of the gents here share my enthusiasm. If they want to weigh in, that would be great.

Thanks for the info and recommendations, I'm not that picky, and given the fact that S Lodge is about half the price of the VT6 and nonrefundable, I'll stick with that for now, but I will check the VT6 to have it on the list for next visit.

For the past 4 years I've been living allover SEA, mostly in hotels, I'm not thrifty but it adds up to over $50 k a year easily for hotels, food, flights, and pussy. When I used to be a 2 week warrior was a different story, sometimes I splurged at Kempinski or Banian Tree, now is more low key, emphasis being put on the quality of pussy.

I should mention that I stay mostly in the Philippines, where food is shitty, hotels are even shittier and it costs double than Thailand, the only good thing is the GFE, and the english language that's spoken everywhere.

Ultimately, I bought a condo, just before Covid. It has made my life a lot easier.

Haven't been to Pattaya for a couple of years, seem to get stuck in BKK or on one of the Southern Islands.

Hello. First post here. Just came from Pattaya and really enjoyed it, will write my report shortly. I thought I will start by posting first about my hotel, Flipper House. Most posts about it are a bit outdated.

I really liked Flipper House and would strongly recommend it. Location is excellent; it's in Soi 7, close to the beach, walking distance to Tree town and Soi 6, baht bus short ride to walking street, and very quiet. Rooms are spacious, clean, with a safety box; only problem is keys are old style and hard to carry. Wifi very fast and doesn't drop. Breakfast buffet is excellent with a large choice and an egg station. Nice pool at the roof with a view of the sea. Safe and Guest friendly; girl leaving her ID at security desk and giving the room number, collecting it back after checking with the guest. Large car park that I did not use. And most importantly, price is unbeatable. They had a promotion at the time due to low season; I got my double bed room for 860 baht a night including breakfast from Booking, that's 20 British pound / night.

This will be my go-to hotel when I visit again.

Endless waiting for and in the elevators (where you stand with 9 other guests like sardines).

Older building. Huge renovation backlog. You're never far away from the nearest condo that's getting (jack-) hammered and grinded.

Stayed for few nights at amber pattaya and not sure I will stay here again. First turn off came when I found they don't allow joiner below 20 yrs! This was confirmed by my lady of the night who just turned 20 this month. She was denied entry few months back and had to bypass reception using the parking lift. Secondly, the housekeeping is one of the slowest I have seen so far. Seems the staff is very uninterested in their job.

The 20 yr restriction rule worries me. Is it a norm for pattaya hotels to deny entry below 20 yrs? I had brought 19 yr chicks in another hotel I stayed (blackwoods) but they didn't bother us.

Thai age of majority is 20 yrs, meaning u20s need parental permission to be at that hotel for whatever reasons they might be there. Some hotels don't care, others do.

Some hotels don't care, others do.I did a Google AI search on "age of majority Thailand" and the top level result supports exactly what you wrote. I dug a little deeper regarding parental consent and found that there are exceptions, for example "Strictly personal acts: Acts of a highly personal nature are exempt from the consent requirement." It also states "The age of consent for sexual activity is 15, but a person between the ages of 15 and 18 is still considered a minor."

If you believe google AI, it is easy to see why some hotels enforce the 20 year minimum and others do not.

Just came back from Pattaya.

Stayed in a place named the beach just beside the Soi 6. They have 2 towers. Stayed in 1 and for breakfast had to go to another one anyway. The main drawback is they charge 1 K baht to get a girl in which pissed me off. I was told by many that all the hotels in Pattaya allows WGs. And when at the middle of the night I was approaching towards the elevator through the lobby, the girl at the counter mention "Sir, you have to pay 1 K baht to bring a girl in" which pissed me off but couldn't argue as me and my girl both were waiting to bang each others brain out. Therefore threw the 1 K at the counter and took her to the room and then rest was so good that I didn't mind to pay 1 K at the lobby. But, this place is really not mongering friendly. A big no to this place.

The other day I was staying in my usual place in Bangkok near Nana. They are girlfriendly, I could take girls up to my room without paying anything.

But when I showed up with a 19 year-old, they explained that they would only except her if I registered her as my second permanent guest in my room. And if I did that, I would for the rest of my stay have to pay a 500 baht joiner fee for every new girl I wanted to take up to my room.

Please suggest me any suitable budget friendly condo for a week or so near LK Metro or Tree Town area.

I observed one interesting banner, The Fxxk Inn opposite to BarCode bar at LK Metro. Any Idea about this place?

Thanks.

Hello. I expected and I have read all hotels are girl friendly in Pattaya, nevertheless for some hotels I read that a fee was charged. What about Marriott Courtyard? I have points to spend and make my stay free there. Thanks!

Any suggestions please? No hotel will advertise they allow 18-19 yo. It really depends on several factors like the guard on duty and / or the reception staff. I've never had a girl refused before and plenty have been 18-19 yo. Some got their ID taken, others just walked through without issue. My friend on the other hand has had 3 girls not allowed into the same hotels due to them being 19.

It's the luck of the draw and you'll just have to play your cards.

Meant to hand out the 10/20's but as luck would have been, 2/3 hundred bath notes came out instead and me being me, thought it would feel bad to put them in and take out the correct notes. Plus the guy had a really wide smile haha! But it did pan out for me, cause he treated me like royalty for the rest of the trip. He made sure he would be the one to keep the girl's ID and call the room before she left and all that. Even gave me pointers on street food and snooker bars nearby. Also warned me of a Turkish / Uzbek chick I got from the beach at night, that she had been accused of stealing in the past LOL. I did have a few 18-19 year olds and they didn't stop them, not sure if they had some fake ID or what.

Any suggestions please?I'm glad you asked this because I had a similar question. It recently came to my attention that 20 yo is the legal age in Thailand. I had previously assumed it was 18 yo. Is there a real risk of criminal penalties if you bring a 18 or 19 yo girl to your room? I'm only interested in short-term, not overnight.
