I'd heard of Tocino Country but had never found it until I was walking from Harold's Mansion.

From Harold's, instead of going down the main street into town, turn to the left at the first intersection. Tocino Country is close by.

Henry, the girls there are skanky IMO.

I mean, I did take one from there but there is so much better from Why Not. Good luck.

Tocino Country?

Do you mean the outdoor bar / resteraunt area up and around from the wharf?

Years ago when I was in Dumaguete this area was called parola (for lighthouse). Is Tocino Country the more accepted terminology?

Not right on the seawall at the foot of Silliman St, no.

Up the main road north a couple hundred meters. Tocino Country has a line of vender shacks at the back. All the tables have unbrellas, charcoal grills lining the road.

Ask any trike driver to take you there. 3 minutes from Whynot.

I think you're right. A friend of mine lives a block away. The houses are built on piles over a spillway. All the houses are connected by a warren of stairs and gang-ways over the water. Trippy place, think that's Parola.

D-cups, Tocino country runs til dawn. Almost all the girls at whynot start and end their nights back at tocino, where do you think they eat, score shabu, and hang with their boy and girlfriends? [half the girls are gay]

For a expat, where else you going to go at 3am?

Tocino is a locals hang out. Very few white guys hang there. It is what it is, but in a small place like Duma the freelancers all run the same track.

Dumaguete is a slow provincial capital, plenty of pussy, but not 'point and click'.

A 'tourist' to negros may want to BYOB from Cebu, lots do.

In Cebu, if you find a Cebuana who can travel, take the jet boat to Bohol for afew days, on to Dumaguete, nice beaches to the south, short ferry to Siquijor Island, nice beach resorts.

Jet boat from Duma to Dapitan is 2hour? Dapitan is very nice, quiet.

From Bohol, east side, there is a ferry to Comiguin, weekly.

Comiguin is fantastic for landscape and people.

From Comiguin can take a ferry / bus to Cagayan de Oro, a big city with a ferry back to Cebu.

My point is, if you have a short vacation, go places with a girl you like. It's a pain to try to find a girl in every little town you find yourself in.

Did it used to be easier back in the day?[shakes cane at Amjeck] The internet and cell phones opened the whole country to possible hook-ups.

I've met girls in Duma thru PH [philipinahearts], and a girl on Bohol and Siquijor. Same story as many here on the forum.girl brings mother, or girl brings 10 of her closest relatives. Or shy girl brings her hot slutty gf and end up shagging the friend.

One girl I met thru ph shared the account with 3-4 of her friends, they'd take turns. She was great BTW, so were her friends.

My point is, if you are traveling the provinces and find a really cool gf, take her along.

Good post Ratszo, you list a few places that I haven't been to yet. I hope you can give some info about Siquior or Camiguin. When you wrote Comiguin, did you mean the island Camiguin which is NE of Cagayan de oro, part of Mindanao?

I had pretty good luck when I went to Dumaguete (with some advance contacts from Cherry blossom) but I agree that byob might be a good idea. THere are a lot of young, healthy looking foreign men who go for the diving and then there are the middle aged healthy tanned foreigners who are expats or who manage many of the businesses catering to the divers. THere is a lot of competition from these guys, so you better have some game if you expect to pick up ladies.

I would definitely suggest getting out to the waterfall near Dumaguete. It's a one day trip.

X.

Been to Siquinjor dozens of times, not the kind of place you want to go to for mongering.

If you need hotel info pm me.

Also, if you get any info on a mongering scene in Siquijor please share, will be going there this month.

Thanks.

The beach in Siquijor town is excellent, just right off the pier. I've stayed at Das Traum in Siquijor town, up near the hospital. It's an elegant house that rents out rooms.

The beach at Salag Doong is nice, as is Paliton Beach, near San Juan. In fact, Paliton Beach is secluded and gorgeous.

A visit to Cambugahay Falls is a must.

If you're looking for a luxurious place to stay, you might try Firefly Cove Beach Resort.

Hi Henry, I'll be going to Siquijor and Firefly Cove Resort with a girlfriend I met in Duma but if for some reason she flakes or I decide not to take her I'd definitely be up for finding something else, preferably shapely, there Dec 1. 3. Please PM if you want a wingman or have any suggestions. Thanks, mate.Just remember that Siquijor Island is supposed to be "haunted" with "white ladies" and aswangs everywhere, and witch doctors around every corner too.

From my experience my work colleagues (all well-educated too) , would not go to Siquijor overnight. They would only go there if they could get their work done during the day so that they can leave by nightfall.

If a girl has agreed to stay with you then she is either a local or she has not heard the stories yet. Chances are she will hear before your trip and she might well flake on you.

These myths and legends are VERY strong in the Philippines so no matter what you say they will hold fast to them. If a girl does go with you it might end up being a weird time for you if she is jumping at every shadow on every corner.

Hi Questor,

Siquijor was fun but not so much for mongering. I stayed at Firefly Cove on the NE side of the island and rented their motorbike to go around the island. Firefly was nice view bit really nothing to do. I did pick up a girl in the city of Siquijor who accompanied me on the bike but alas no hanky panky. We went to Coco Grove resort beach which is better than Firefly and had some very cute waitresses working there. If I go back to Siqui that's where I will stay. Very good real estate prices. The boat leaves Dumaguete around 1 pm and takes about 90 minutes for $8. It mightbe better to BYO to Siqui.

Had some problems loging in for the last couple of weeks, hope it is finally resolved.

When I go to Siquijor it is always with my wife so, alas, no mongering. Would not even know where to look. Just had a friend come back and he said the same thing, really nothing to do, but it is a great place to relax.

I always stay at the Agripino Hotel on Saladong beach. The rate is 1300p for a good room with ac and a small balcony facing the water. I have a vehicle on Siquijor, so transportation is not a problem. If you do not have a vehicle, the Agripino would not be a good place to stay, it is about 2 kliks off the main highway.

Coco Grove is about the best on the island. Have a picture of the front taken in 1992, just a sign nailed to a tree, somewhat improved since.

Coral Cay is very nice, but I will not stay there. The owner's wife (who is a Filipino) treats her workers like dogs and, as a result, it really ruins the atmosphere. Stayed there a long time ago and my wife made friends with a couple of them, cried their eyes out to my wife. I have always witnessed the treatment myself, disgusting.

Both Coco Grove and Coral Cay are right on the main highway.

Again, if you need info pm me.

North of Dgte, in the Tanon Strait between Negros and Cebu Island. Dumaguete was not hard-hit. Minor damage, no deaths reported. There was panic and fear of tsunami because the gov't advised evacuation from the beach areas. Towns to the north were impacted. Most deaths occurred from landslides in the mountains. The bridge to Guihilngan is out.

Actually, I was offering advice rather than requesting it. Make contacts by internet before you come. There are few if any quality FLs available in public. On DIA, you will find a number of girls trolling for P4P, you will known them from their ads. But with better quality gals, offer to hire someone as a tour guide. Be sincere about this, make clear that sex is not expected. Right now it's the beginning of Summer vacation, many college women are at loose ends. But they will not commit themselves to sex with an unknown foreigner. Pay P500 for a full morning or afternoon showing you around. If you are fit, rent a motorcycle upon arrival, P200 per day; there are rental places around Stede's Restaurant north of Quezon Park. You can make your offer on Facebook as well, but that will require a lot more trial and error.

I will forbear from describing my roster of girls in Dgte, there is too much boasting on this site.

FREE water and FREE electricity? Do tell, how do you get free water and free electricity other than harvesting energy from solar, wind or using a small stream to produce hydro electric power. As for free water are you planning to divert water from a stream, dig your own deep water well on your property or store rain water for future use?

Are you planning to be on the grid or off grid? If my post sounds critical, that's not my point. I just see an opening to learn a thing or two and maybe avoid paying for crazy expensive electricty rates.

how do you get free water and free electricity .You aren't aware of the geothermal plant at Valencia. It does not sound like the electricity is entirely free, but according to the wiki article:

The municipality is also the site of a geothermal power station operated by the National Power Corporation. It generates electricity that is supplies the needs of Negros, Panay, and part of Cebu. The municipal government receives royalties from the power station which are used to subsidize electricity costs of local residents. Each household receives a monthly rebate of P800 on their electricity bill.Http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valencia, _Negros_Oriental

Not all of them are. Afterward, let her know you will not bar-fine her again, but you'd love to see her ST during the day. You know how much she earns from the bar-fine, so you know how much to offer. Most of them get desperate for extra income some time. Exchange cell numbers and arrange to meet away from the bar. This way, she minimizes the risk of getting in trouble with her employer.

I personally feel an obligation to pay a bar fine first time, if possible. The bar has recruited and trained her, and in effect introduced her to me. It deserves compensation.

Anyone getting laid? Anyone been up to Valencia to check out the real estate?Have been gone about 9 months but would be surprised if even priests and nuns weren't getting laid in Duma.

IMO, the best hidden secret in all of PI: easy ferry access to Bohol, Siquior, Mindanao, Cebu, beautiful boulevard, Silliman university, lots of province girls coming here to work, etc, etc.

I have a great Aussie friend who's recently relocated up to Valencia, rented a beautiful 2 bedroom house in the campo for 10, 000 PHP, and claims the mountain girls are even a notch up from the Duma sweethearts.

I have lived quite a few yrs in tropical or even equatorial countries but they were either very hot but quite dry or reasonably cool due to the altitude (comprised between 1, 000 and 1, 500 m) , I can't survive in the Phils more than a few weeks w / o developing heat rashes due to the super humid heat (as well as other health problems similarly caused) and I don't want to remain all the time in an air-conditioned room as I enjoy being outdoors.

I can't stand Baguio (so far or at least don't like it too much) and wife would like to stay close to her folks in Cebu.

According to the map there is a mountain 1, 903 m nearby so possibly one might be settle a little higher than 300 m. Now driving on mountains roads in the Phils does scare me a bit, never mind the girls, I still need to be alive to enjoy them!

Not interested in a true relocation as my job requires my presence in the US or Europe most of the time, just extended stays in places with good internet connections. Wife could elect to stay there longer than me however (secret hope. LOL).

I do not know about the nuns but as far as the priests are concerned this is a Filipino tradition going back several centuries to the Spanish days and not just in Negros as I am sure you know quite well!

Honestly, no, it's not significantly cooler in Valencia. One degree C would be enough to get people talking about it. But Baguio and the Cordillera, it is not. Maybe it collects cloud cover a bit more. Also it doesn't get the heat buildup from concrete and traffic as in Dgte down below. But for coolness, I feel better off in a sea breeze near the beach. And be aware, it's always humid everywhere in the Philippines.

And yes, you can go behind and up beyond Valencia into higher hills. But the living accommodations are only native huts. I was there a few days ago, visiting a girlfriend's hillside homeland. Amazingly, she and her hot (no pun intended) sister plan to retire from city life to garden and raise pigs. I suppose I am partly financing this move. Coconut trees and clear streams-beautiful, but not cool. You know you are really high up when the palm trees are below. That is not the case here.

That is not the case here.Sorry for the late reply.

Thanks for yr kind answer. Raising pigs, yes very common in the Phils, relatives of my wife are doing this too and making good money in the process, I am somewhat less enthusiastic concerning the fact that they are (or were) stuffing these animals with antibiotics to keep them apparently healthy.

I lived for a while in the central highlands of Madagascar and it was cool, even cold at times.

Living year round in the Phils is not what I envision, but even staying cooped up inside because of the high humidity for a few months every year is not what I would like either. So sorry about Valencia, I suppose that I can get the same altitude wise in Cebu w / o the transportation hassles.

Whaddyamean " I suppose I am partly financing this move". You are not sure? LOL.

OK, there are things in the Phils which "I suppose I partly financed" myself in my younger days like the (partial) restoration of an old church to sponsoring indubitably very deserving young female students (*) (San Carlos, San Jose Recoletos both in Cebu) to a lot and a house in Cordova (Mactan) for my in-laws (#). Welcome to he club.

(*) not a total loss by any means, yes they were grateful.

(#) a total loss, no they were not grateful and they were much more expensive than the students, idiot that I was.

Just a general question.

Have not been in Dum for about two years, will be returning in a few months, anything new on the scene, or is it still just the Why Not and Tondo area?

Last time I was there I saw a club about a 1/4 mile up (I believe on the left) from Tondo, any info on it?

Thanks.

Is that per DAY? If so, that is way too much for Filipines!

I would like a private house or apartment (furnished of course) for a good month and more but the price has to make sense!

It's all about economics!

BS.

Have been gone about 9 months but would be surprised if even priests and nuns weren't getting laid in Duma.

I'll be back in 2013 so please don't let my "Chamber of Commerce" pitch convince so many of you to move here that there's none left for me.

You should of let him think 10000php is per day. BS has been posting on a few PI sections and asking the dumbest questions, which proves three things.

First, he has not RTFF at all.

Second, he is unwilling to do any google or internet research about the Philippines.

Third, he most likely will be one of the many guys who come on ISG and asks alot of questions but will never visit the Philippines. IMO He is a time-waster that saw a few pics on the PG and suddenly wants to visit the Philippines but his lack of research proves he is not serious.

http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/334743/228-saved-in-dumaguete-sea-mishapI read about the ferry in trouble near Duma yesterday.

Just a reminder that the ferry system in the Philippines is in place for profit and not for safety. If there is a LPA within the Philippine area of resposibility I will not step foot on a ferry. In good weather I will spend the extra php and book tickets that are located within easy reach of the upper decks and stay away from rooms or sections that are located deep within the ferry.

The Owners of Dona Paz are still running their businesses. And seems they are going great as I see. And they have still avoided the stress of the Princess of The Stars.

For those in the dark.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Do%C3%B1a_Paz

With a possible death toll of 4, 375 people, the collision resulted in the deadliest peacetime maritime disaster in history.

Only 26 survivors were retrieved from the water. Twenty-four of them were passengers from the Doa Paz while the other two were crewmen from the Vector's 13-man crew.

Sulpicio Lines announced three days after the accident that the Doa Paz was insured for &8369; 25 million (about US$550 thousand in 2011 dollars) , and it was willing to indemnify the survivors the amount of 20 thousand (US$472 in 2011) for each victim.

According to the initial investigation conducted by the Philippine Coast Guard, only one apprentice member of the crew of the Doa Paz was monitoring the bridge when the accident occurred. Other officers were either drinking beer or watching television, while the ship's captain was watching a movie on his Betamax. Nonetheless, subsequent inquiries revealed that the Vector was operating without a license, lookout or properly qualified master. The Board of Marine Inquiry eventually cleared Sulpicio Lines of fault in the accident. In 1999, the Philippine Supreme Court ruled that it was the owners of the Vector who were liable to indemnify the victims of the collision.

And.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Princess_of_the_Stars

The 5-member Philippines Board of Marine Inquiry, in its 65-page report dated August 25, 2008 (submitted to the Maritime Industry Authority or Marina) , found PSACC and its captain liable for the MV Princess of the Stars June 21 maritime tragedy. The BMI recommended that Marina 'consider the suspension of the Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) of Sulpicio Lines in accordance with existing laws, rules and regulations (and its criminal liability for the sinking." The final report blamed human error, and ruled that the ship's missing and presumed dead captain, Florencio Marimon,"miscalculated" the risk of continuing the trip to Cebu while the storm raged: ".

PSACC said 52 survived the tragedy and 312 bodies were recovered of 825 passengers listed. The rest were declared missing and presumed dead. PSACC may appeal within 30 days, the Board's recommendation to the Maritime Industry Authority (Philippines) and the Department of Transportation. Meanwhile, cargoes of 5 toxic pesticides and other poisonous substances are still on board the ferry and will be refloated on September. Sulpicio Lines, the 2nd largest cargo carrier in the Philippines, accounts for 40% of all cargo movement across the country.

Sulpicio Lines, the second-largest cargo carrier in the Philippines, accounts for 40% of all cargo movement across the country. Sone commentators such as Robert Go, former president of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry argued that suspending Sulpicio's activities would cause significant disruption to the country's economy over the Christmas season.

If anyone is looking to bar fine in Dumaguete, its easy. There's Jackpot. That's on the main road on the left, if you coming from Dumaguete. Almost all the way to whats known as Cebu City, which is the Sibulan Ferry Terminal. Zig zag through a charming little dirt alley way. Then you pay 70p to enter and get swarmed by about 5 or 6 bored lonely ones. You can pay the bar 3000 if you want. Theyre rather pathetic compared to really hot girls, In my opinion.

Better yet, you can go to Fantasy, which is near there on the opposite side of the road closer to Dumaguete. Theres about 6 of them in there and a couple of local guys sitting there alone because of course theyre not going to buy a ladies drink for 200. By the way, ladies drinks are 240 at Jackpot, and you are immediately aware they are requested. The chicks at Jackpot were allot better looking and pretty nice. Not real pushy. The hot little 20 year okd white one with no baby got a drink and appreciated it. Bar fine is 800 and the rest is between you and her. I'd say 1500 would be cool, and if you made the total 3000, I'm sure that would be appreciated. I took a miss cause it was raining and I was on a motorbike but I think they have a short time room there. I know theres a private room they were trying to get me into.

Evidentally theres more choices too. Theres something like BB Bar, and theres Rich Rich, or something like that near to St Pauls University I'm told. Ill post some more soon on the rest of the rather weak schene I've started to penetrate. On the surface its not good.

Incidentally, one of them I was talking to at Fantscy says she doesn't get fined out all week. No Foreigns, she says. And she was actually pretty hot. Theres usually one at a time dancing on stage and the bar is right at the edge, so you can get a good shot. I'm sure ill go back soon if anyone wants to hook up.

OK, it's Friday night and I ride into Dumaguete for a delightful dinner at KRI restaurant, near Silliman University. You must check it out as they serve the freshest food and offer the greatest menu choices I have seen here.

As I finish dinner and hop on my motorbike to head down to the Boulevard, I spot a couple black girls walking in the street in my direction. Black girls, by their scarcity, stick out here. I purposely delay my exit and wait for them to get to me. I bid them good evening and inquire of their African home. With a beautiful smile, one tells me they are Kenyan and are studying at Negros Oriental State University (NORSU to the locals).

We talked a few lovely minutes and they informed me there are many Africans studying at NORSU. So, for those of you who have a bit of a thirst for variety occasionally, even in Dumaguete Pinay heaven, you might consider the beautiful African population.

I know I will.

Want a hot University girl? Me too.

This is for you guys thinking you're going to come here and sweep all these girls off their feet that need tuition money.

Man, I can go back and forth 10 times a day between liking this town and not. I don't think it's the best place in the Philippines to be a single guy.

I love it when I bang 2 Boulevard tramps all afternoon. Although that's not what I moved half way around the world for, it's still fun. I don't like it when I spend the rest of the evening around town and I don't get any of the giggles and interest from really cute girls like I do in many other places I've been in this country. Probably due to the large amount of expats, I suppose. I love it when I get the resemblance of a real taco at Casa Blanca. Then I don't like it again when this happens;

I happened to be passing in front of the University this afternoon and had to stop because all the tricycles came to a stop because of a truck passing head on. So I pulled my bike over to the curb to let the smoke clear and I ended up by the crosswalk where lots of them were coming out, crossing the street, or catching a tricycle.

I noticed right away that none of the girls would. Forget saying hello, not even look at me. In fact because of where I was, they actually had to kind of go out of their way not to look.

So just for kicks, I got out the pen and spent 5 minutes making the following tally.

Attractive girls that wouldn't look at me: 9.

Semi attractive girls that wouldn't look at me: 8.

Unattractive girls that wouldn't look at me: 6.

Girls that looked at me or smiled: 0.

I know they wouldn't risk getting expelled from school messing around with a foreigner, as wise senior members have noted, so I suppose hanging around in front of the school isn't the best place to meet anyone except maybe a security guard. Haha.

That's not to say this place doesn't have tons of sweet pretty girls. The restaurants I frequent have some real sweethearts, and some of the students do go out at night. But it's not the stunners I've seen elsewhere, and its definitely not point and click on anything, especially not top shelf IMO.

I decided to cancel going to Iloilo today because I didn't want to get up at 4:30. The air con buses only leave between midnight and 5:40 am. Maybe I'll ride there soon.

So instead, I'd go do some of what I usually do around here. Walk around Bacong looking for girls, cruise the mountains looking for a province girl, sit on the boulevard, walk Lee's Plaza, walk Downtown, Stick my head in every shop, roam around the back streets, eat at a new restaurant, walk a barrio south of town. All right, I wasn't expecting much, no big deal.

I haven't had sex with a Boulevard hooker for a few days and I'm feelin' a bit horny. Think I'll go back to those bars down past the airport. Last time I was at Fantacy I had a nice conversation with 2 real cute race models. I bought them each a drink, they probably remember me. They were telling me they don't get fined out that often because not too many foreigners go there.

I get there around 9 and one of them is on stage and I didn't see the other. I think her name is Jill. Pretty little thing, dancing kind of sexy. Maybe one or two others sitting around in the dark and a couple Filipino guys smoking and playing pool.

I sit at the stage, get a drink, she smiles at me and I slip the change into her panties. Nice little muff, just enough hair. I'm thinking man, that's going to look nice wrapped all around my chin in about 45 minutes.

So I sit through 3 gruelingly long loud songs, then she smiles and leaves the stage. Out comes the 70 kilogram big white one and starts to move around on stage. About 8 or 10 minutes later the thin cute one finally comes walking over to me. They change back into their street clothes when they leave the stage.

So I get her a drink and we re acquaint ourselves and small talk a bit. I say something like I'd like to have her over sometime soon. Blank stare. Then I mention something about bar fine. Nothing. The music is so damn loud you can not even talk. I ask if there's anywhere in the place it's not so loud. No.

I rub her arm a little, smile, sweet talk a little, tell her again look I'm interested in you. I'm trying to get around to a bar fine, or a short time room. It's like I'm talking to a wall. So I thank her, bid her good night and split. Came back in to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) and she was back in the dressing room again with the others. There was one stamped up one up in the sink crouched down smoking, putting on lip stick.

I don't get this place. Maybe they need a new manager, or maybe its me. But I'm clean, I'm not fat, I dress nice, I shave, I don't stink, I'm polite, I joke. I don't look like Frankenstein, and I've banged hundreds of her cousins.

Fuck man, I'm about done here in this town.

There's going to be that one last bus that lays on the air horn behind me on the boulevard, and that one last lung full of black smoke. Will it be tomorrow?

She wanted to prove to me that she shouldn't be seen with me around town. (I bought a large helmet with visor for her to wear.) She did training at the school's admissions office, and brought home a list of 20-25 students expelled one year. Most of them, for pregnancy. One boy for impregnation. One girl for "dating in the Why Not". Another for something with a foreigner, I forget.

This same girl, with her fellow students, would organize an all-night beach party far out of town. Someone brings a tent, and couples take turns using it.

Note. I found this companion on the internet, though she lived just a few blocks from me.

That seems to be an on going theme. Thanks to the Senior members that reminded me. It's strange that in a land of millions of hot girls around, to be sitting inside on the computer.

Knowing that the girl sitting across from you in the restaurant won't look at you, but she is on the net looking for a guy exactly like you.

Then of course, there's the ones that just want a good afternoon of shaggin.

Came here to meet an online girl just for fun. As far as the town, I rather be in Cebu or Manila for night time action. If you are coming here to meet a girlfriend from online, fine. But if you are coming here to check out night life, go else where. I had fun with my online girl, young, cute. 18 yo, some kissing, but no sex. Oh well, she is a virgin so I did not expect to have sex with her. I just like being with cute young Filipina virgins with hopes of busting their cherry. I have two long time girlfriends that were virgins and I busted their cherry. These girls are keepers. Each live on different islands. Each took me more then a year of meeting and online chatting, emails, lots of time invested. But I tired of the pay for sex game, I rather be with a girl that loves me and gives me her virgin pussy. I must say, lots of good looking girls here going to college. I did not get any looks from them. If you live or retire here, do so with having a Filipina gf, otherwise you will, at least I did, get bored at night.

I hear you, especially about getting the looks. That generally don't happen from the Univ girls, the Lee plaza girls, the Robinson girls, girls on the streets, supermarkets. None of them. I chock it up to all the foreigners living here. Either that or I look like the guy their mom warned them about. Leching around every corner.

I've been here 2 months and I play the rather pathetic pro and semi pro scene. But allot of times I just go home early and try to get up early. There's a way better chance, for me anyway, of meeting some hot pussy during the day. I almost posted some blurred pics, but I decided not to for obvious reasons. About every 2 days I have my choice of another one of the kind you are talking about. They come from friends I've made. Door men, guys working in stores, restaurants, etc. The girls usually live in other towns like Siaton. Then word spreads in that town.

Or I ride in the mountains and little villages almost every day. Easter Sunday I went back to a place along the river as promised and the old woman gave me my choices of the whole village. Pulled them out of the tiny shacks. I haven't made a strike yet but I guess I will if ever the right one comes in.

But then, hell. The ongoing theme I keep hearing is don't crap where you eat. If I fuck up and break that rule, I'm neck deep in her friends and family. I wish I could find another spot to live because so far, I love the country. But the other places I've been are even less liveable. I think I'll go have a look around Bacolod / Guimaras / Iloilo soon. Ill add a FR if I do.

Last night as I finished dinner I was trying to decide. Do I do I stick my head into Why Not for a while, or do I go home and put up a distress call on the ISG board for advise. Because I'm suffering a case of mild depression from 2 months in this excruciatingly low key city.

So I choose option 3: Sit on the boulevard in front of Why Not. Then go home, get up early and go trolling.

That was the right move. Within 5 minutes I hear a faint voice say my name and then disappear into the darkness with a size small girl.

Then I get the text. It's this gay 18 year old I know. I think I told him I'm looking for either a hot, black, skinny good girl, or someone who just wants to shag for money. Or anything else in between for that matter.

I like this guy because he hangs out with chicks all the time clear from Bais to Bayawan, and has got me laid already.

So he has me meet them in a darker place. We set a time and place right then (because I'm learning about the texting challenge) and I drove her through the mill all this afternoon.

Turns out she's fairly hot. 19 yo and staying in a boarding house trying to eek out an education.

She don't need too much to stay afloat, but is willing to air it out for money. She's shy, especially with foreigners and would never walk the boulevard or go into a bar.

So for a reasonable investment I may be able to keep her off the streets where I belong. Shagged like a monkey incidentally. Liked to bite."Oh shit, oh shit, fuck, fuck" I think allot of that shy conservative bit is just an act allot of times.

The best part was the tits. They perked straight up like they had golf ball implants. And the XS bra was way to big so it didn't even touch them. It was funny. That's the picture I wish I would have taken.

Haha. Ya, I digress. There's an option I've never explored either, befriending boardwalk fags to get laid.

I've even gone so far as to flirt with a ladyboy working at the mall. That went ok too. He introduced me to a few of best looking girls working there. Not the kind you just go knock the bottom out for 1k though.

I trust her so I just used my apartment. I doubt if getting LT would have been a problem.

But there's one in Sibulan that may do hourly and there's ok Pentionette House, near the bridge by the Ceres Terminal that's daily only. 225-5702/422-7731 Fax no. 035-225-2480.

Air Con rooms:

Or, my personal favorite. Just because I've seen it:

Sure. She just happens to be the friendliest of them all (aside from the guy hugging me, trying to shove coconut rum down my throat who claims to be John F. Kennedy) I just act like I'm lost or looking for a short cut and they usually just laugh and start inquiring about where my wife is.

I just told her I was extremely available and looking for a companion around 40 kilos and black. She said come back next Sunday.

But there's two problems with this kind of thing and I'll mention the first. These obviously aren't hookers. These are families living in houses worth 2, 000 pesos. There was a discussion on another thread about scums that promise girls marriage just to get pussy. I'm not one of them and I didn't come here to fuck girls over. So I'm starting to question my own MO. I am looking for a long term GF, as long as she's top shelf. But what happens when the honeymoon is over? What if say, she gets fat? What happens when she figures out how to plug in the TV? What if I can't train her how to give a good blow job? What if I find out I can't live here? I'm used to a Thai divorce. I'll shag ya later.

"Or I ride in the mountains and little villages almost every day. Easter Sunday I went back to a place along the river as promised and the old woman gave me my choices of the whole village. Pulled them out of the tiny shacks. I haven't made a strike yet but I guess I will if ever the right one comes in."

Obviously, you're making great use of contacts. Could you explain the old woman?

Some gals start the train to chubbytown early and some later. A rare few never at all. But eventually all that pork and plates of rice catches up with them.

Tally, Freebie, Sam, E, Sgt Ray and RK: any action in Valencia? I am still planning on retiring there in about nine years. I'll be in Cebu in July in case any of you guys want a wingman.

Thanks for any replies.

I've only been in Valencia a few times during the day, but aside from an occasional truck rumbling down the road, all you hear is the sound of ladies brushing up leaves. I think it makes Dumaguete look like Pattaya.

If anyone shows up like a dog with two dicks, he's going to be seriously bummed out.

If I had the means, I would go on shagging sprees to Cebu. The ferry is cheap to take a vehicle, and crosses every hour. I'd also keep my place here and go out for weeks at a time trolling other places for a top shelf live in.

Sam, if you decide to go the "Palarong Pambansa 2013" I'd play it safe and wouldn't drink any of the water sold or handed out at the event. Although it has yet to be confirmed, according to a Sun Star article it's what is suspected as the cause of a severe diarrhea outbreak. I feel bad for the athletes who won't be allowed to compete as I'm sure they trained hard to get there and partake in the competition.

http://www.sunstar.com.ph/dumaguete/local-news/2013/04/21/diarrhea-downs-169-palarong-pambansa-delegates-278664

It might just be a good time to head up into the hills for a few days and get "acquainted" with a few of the village girls, lol.

Years ago the trike drivers in front of WhyNot were helpful to get their cut. But what are now our daytime options for P4P? Is the Boulevard along the beach a hunting ground? Or any known "boarding"houses? Or massage parlours?

Thanks.

Not only is the action quite non-existent during the daytime, but it's become quite dangerous. A good city to avoid.

Your best bet is between the Why Not & Tocino. Many times you will see the same gals, so you know who is really working.

Stay away from the Trike Drivers after sundown. Most times, the only place they will take you is to the bars out by the airport, then they want an outrageous sum to bring you back.

There is a bar, about a klick beyond Tocino on the left, that looked like it was hopping early in the evening (around 11pm) , however, I went back very late and it was clearing out. Anyone ever been there?

Met one or two in front of the Why Not, one had a moto and was trying real hard, just not my type, I. E, short and dumpy.

The best time to do the Why Not is very late, the gals have been drinking and they get a little braver. Had a funny experience there. Met a real good looking gal early in the eveining but she seemed a little stand-offish. Went back around 1:30 am and bumped into her again. Started off the conversation by saying: "I met you a short time ago, do you remember." She was so soused she said: "short-time, sure, what was the matter before." Paid for my drink and off we went. Just drunk enough to be fun, had a great time. The gal with the moto saw us walk to my hotel, really got pissed at the fact she lost a customer.

The place is becoming a bit overpopulated by too many kanos (read: anyone who came after me) forcing guys like me work a bit harder.

And I get quite cranky when forced to compete against the under-40 crowd. I didn't work in the salt mines 51 weeks a year for 35 plus years to have to come here in my sundown years and have to compete with the spry boys.

Stopped in Fantasy for the first time in a long while, Monday night about 10:30. There was one larger one on stage about 6 in looks, pretty active though. I damn near caught a heal as she charged the pole and went for a twirl. There was the usual loud hideous music and the place was smoke filled. There were maybe a dozen Filipinos either sitting around or playing pool. By the time I sat down, I was approached by the one I bought a drink last time. She sat down and grabbed my balls. That of course immediately earned her a drink (180). 24 years old with a race model body despite having a kid. Of course it's her turn to dance so she's gone. Leaves me sitting there so another one sits down and immediately requests a drink. Really big hands and sort of bizarre face. It looked like there may have been one or two kind of hotter ones but they had hands all over them and were at a table with a bunch of drinks on it. Maybe with Koreans. There were probably 6 or 8 girls in the place, but they sit back in the darkness.

The asking rate is 1, 500 for the VIP room for 2 hours supposedly. That gets each of you 2 drinks, and of course anything else is additional. 2,500 is the asking price for take out, plus tip I suppose, but I took a miss because I don't consider it worth it since I have a cute 19 year old that keeps my needs met that I'm actually fond of. And at a 1k contribution to her boarding house and educational fund, a much better deal.

Getting to the point, Jackpot is just a bit north of there. I'm immediately greeted by a not so attractive girl with an OK frame. I tried to loose her by sitting on the couch right in front of the stage. There was a very tall thick one on stage kind of moving a little to the music. There were again, maybe a dozen Filipino guys in there, one standing right in front of the stage holding his fighting cock. Almost as to be entertaining the thing. A couple other girls rotated one at a time on stage with breaks in between so it's an empty stage. Nothing higher than 5 in terms of looks I would say, but I thought I saw a couple slimmer cuter ones hiding back in the darkness.

I had already politely told my company that I didn't want to get her a drink, that I just wanted to look for a while. (work my way back to the others) So to up the ante, I suppose, she told me that for a drink and 250 she would give me a blow job right there in the bar. I love getting blow jobs in bars, reminds me of Soi 6. But I got a flash back of last time I got a cheap blow job here in town. The old "you get what you pay for" deal. It was a waste of precious sperm. I wished I had the load and the 500 back. So I just didn't trust her to give a proper ending, not for a drink and some loose change anyway. By the time I had a chance to drink it over she was already pestering me for the drink saying she is going to get a penalty or something like that.

But I intend to go back there later this week, because now that I wrote this I'm pissed I didn't do it. I'll try to zero in on one of the better looking ones and try to get a similar deal. I'll be sure to report on how that shakes out.

Fantasy is on the right about half way to Sibulan, it's past the airport a ways. There's another one just a couple hundred meters further up on the left. There's a big club on the left much closer, I think it's opposite the airport road. There's allot of girls in there. It's a tall building with blue lights. I never did anything in those places but have a drink, although I did see some sexy ones in there. I never found anything I considered suitable at Tocino Country. The best trim I got was hook ups from a gay kid that hangs out right across the street from Why Not. He sits curb side at that little stand where she sells those boiled ducks embryos they eat. This cat hooked me up with some fairly primo young ladies that needed dough for school.

If you are looking for a girlfriend, you may want to take day trips out of town. In Siaton lots of people come out of the hills on Sundays and hang out in the park. There are some really hot young ladies in that town if you can find someone to present you to them. In fact, I know a girl right now that wants a foreigner, but she's the serious kind. Beautiful, brown, 39 kilos, 18 I think. You can pm me if you want to peruse that. Malatapay is good on Wednesdays, they have a big trading thing where people bring in animals and all kinds of other stuff. The chicks are really shy, but if you slip them your number, that may work. Nice black sand beaches around there and nice view of Apo Island. Bayawan was good for me, they're not used to seeing allot of foreigners there.

And in the mountains you will find lots of girls. But not just sitting there waiting, the trick is to find someone to bring them out. They are hiding in little huts. I met one from the Bais area. Unreal hot, scratches all over her arms from the cane fields. But the trick is finding a contact. I made friends with older ladies and young guys that knew lots of girls.

[QUOTE=HenryV; 1431408]Are these the bars by the airport?

Thank you.The bikini bars are all in Sibulan, north of Dumaguete. Dumaguete has no such venues, and no place with employee take-out. Coming from Dumaguete, just across the city line and just before the airport, the first, on the left, is New Checkers. But there is no sign since it got raided, only lights. A few steps further on the left is Midnight, the inheritor of Sweet Angels, which got raided and closed. Midnight's stage is built for bands, and is terrible for viewing dancers. It's raised high, and a knee wall hides the dancer entirely when she goes to ground in a split. The doofus owner argues that the sight line is good for viewing the crotch. Then past the airport on the right is Fantasy. This is the most respectable of them. It has a pool table and other things to do. Here you can take a date. What kind of date? A college girl who wants to see what it's like. All of them do. And seeing it turns them on. By the way, none of these bars have college girls moonlighting. They would fear being seen by male staff or faculty, and expelled. Same goes for the Boulevard and the Why Not. Continuing on, there's a sign for Jackpot Gentleman's Clube on the left. It's down a dark alley. Then much farther, almost to Sibulan center, on the right is the newest and grungiest, called D'Bar.

As for the quality, there are 5 to 15 dancers in each bar at any given time, including 1 to 3 who rate above a 5. And the best lookers are accounted for. I rarely bar-fine. I typically go to watch dancing and warm up for a regular who is coming to visit later. I find that bar girls do not make good regulars. After 3 weeks in a bar, a girl is ruined for a relationship. Sometimes I get a reject. A reject is a girl who wanders into a bar thinking of working there, and rejects it. She thinks,"I can't do this", or "I don't like those girls." A GRO may refer her to me as a way to fulfill her needs more privately.

Thanks, well I lived there for 4 months and I think everyone in that town knew I was looking for trim. I've been told that allot of foreigners don't like to talk much with the locals, they kind of do their own thing and only communicate as much as needed. I have allot of fun talking to people no matter if its the old woman in the village, the security guard, or the fag. I've ended up getting hooked up by all of those type. Especially good is about a 19 year old good looking kid. These type of guys know allot of girls. I used to sit at the coffee shop in Lees in the evening and stare at all the girls shopping. The guys chopping up the pig used to get a chuckle out of that. I took them out to Why Not one night. They had never been there. It blew their mind because it was a night when a bunch of sexy looking girls were out on the dance floor. These guys hooked me up with Siaton girls. But I never banged any of them because they were the young virgin type. One of the things I love the most about this place is how everyone seems to be so concerned with your marital status. Pure single seems to be the best.

1) Rent a motorcycle. P200 per day. Getting around at night is not difficult. North of Quezon Park, around Stede's, there are several rental places.

2) Flag a trike that's driving by, not one standing outside the Why Not or your hotel.

It must be the place Chea mentioned, the old Checkers. There's just blue lights on a big building and right next door there's another place. I walked in and was the only man and there were maybe a dozen girls. Of course the 2 least attractive ones cling on to you and start yelling in your ear. I don't think these places get allot of bar fines. The Pinoys probably don't want to spend that kind of scratch and I've never seen a foreigner in any of them. (But I didn't go too often)

About the murderbikes. I had a friend die in Thailand and one get splattered bad. But I can't go anywhere without one. That's half the fun for me, the freedom and you see the best places. All the remote beaches and all the "hey Joe's" in the mountains. Google maps works on your phone even if you're not connected because it uses a combo of cell towers and gps I think. Always expect the unexpected and always drive slowly. But the Philippines is definitely the most dangerous place I've ever ridden. I think its just a matter of time before something happens.

Ya, and if you get hurt? Someone said "if you're in pain, get on a plane" I don't even remember kicking anything. Just one day my second toe was all swollen and pussy and hurt. I started pouring Alcohol on it. Got worse, went to doctor and got on expensive antibacterial. Quit after a week...It came back twice. I would have either lost my foot or died if left unattended. The body just wont fight some of these infections.

An unplanned turn of events landed me back in Dgte, one of them being me missing the hell out of Casa Blanca, Coco Amigos, Mifuni, and KRI. I know not to expect much, but I had a nice surprise. Robinson is a little 2 story mall and not exactly fertile trolling grounds. I passed head on with a short pretty brown chick and my hello was returned. I told her she was guapa and she actually stopped instead of the usual Dumaguete snob. We traded phone numbers and she expressed interest in actually meeting again.

So the text conversation went like this: (all in real words)

What are you doing this afternoon?

Nothing, you?

You want to have a little fun, maybe take a motorbike ride?

I like that.

Can we meet about 12:30?

Sure, where you want to meet up?

Robinsons?

How about lees plaza? But can I leave my laptop at your house?

I told this chick she should conduct seminars in how to have text conversations. Anyway, she was a nice mix between not too easy to get and not too hard to get. We almost didn't make it out of the house, and when we got back it was one of those go to third base and I'll shag ya next time deals. And I'm sure it's going to be a workout.

I had her pegged at first as a freelancer from Cebu, but she's actually just visiting relatives and knows how to have some fun.

So there's always some hope here. Also I met a really hot one that was up from Zamboanguita. There's allot of them that live in that area, Siaton, Malitapy, Zam that still have good attitudes. Not usually players, but the gf type unless you're real smooth. But you just have to figure out a way to find them. Try to make friends with people from that area, that's a good start.

Anyway, if anyone wants to take a murderbike ride or something, Ill be around for a month or so.

Maria Luisa is a good choice for a first visit, it was mine. It's centrally located and a short walk to the oceanfront boulevard without the traffic noise. Unless there is a weekend concert or fiesta in the park.

The only hotel or pension house that is not girl-friendly is Bethel.

I stayed there once and it was nice for 1, 200. OK Pension is good too for cheaper. Thats right next to the Ceres bus terminal and the motorcycle rental places. Ill try to remember to stop in tomorrow and get the phone#. I'll PM you

Maria Luisa is a good choice for a first visit, it was mine. It's centrally located and a short walk to the oceanfront boulevard without the traffic noise. Unless there is a weekend concert or fiesta in the park.

The only hotel or pension house that is not girl-friendly is Bethel. It's one of the hotels used by government agencies when they are running training seminars in DGTE so on occasion you might find it booked out and / or filled with middle-aged teachers or administrators from various government departments.

It is a very basic place and I recall that the beds were the old "camp stretcher" type metal frames so they tend to be a bit noisy if you bounce around on them.

Bethel is definitely not gf.

I have stayed there once when my office booked for me and before we knew anything about it.

The room staff gather each morning for a bible reading and sing a hymn before they start work. It woke me up. I thought I must have died and gone to heaven but being alone in the bed I knew that hadn't happened LOL.

Robinsons Place sucks for picking up women, right? Right. That's why I was shocked when a brown slim pretty one actually stopped to talk to me where I was sitting. Turns out she's married to an American and lives more that a hundred kilometers away from Dgte. But we traded phone numbers and very soon I got a text from her saying she had one for me.

So the lady sent a couple pictures but she looked white and also didn't have the look I would be after for a long term thing. I already knew she was marriage minded and looked like the super formal type. But she did have a beautiful set of legs and I made sure to compliment her on them.

The next day or two, the married one texted me and said they were in town and would be in the mall later that night. I figured what the hell, why not meet? I was going there anyway. They show up and she's actually really brown and is wearing short shorts. She's way better looking in person. But still real shy. She would barely even look at me and almost all of the talk was between me and the married one. But wao, those legs looked great and I let her know it. So they split and later that night we started a text exchange. I again complimented her and she didn't mind that a bit. I figured I'd throw a Hail Mary pass and tell her I'd be willing to kiss those lovely legs. Her reply was "and then?" So I just progressively layed it on until it was some industrial strength sweet mouthing. It got heavy and that switch was on.

By the time I woke up the next morning, I had a text saying she couldn't sleep all night and was on a bus already. Fuck man, what followed was some of the best action I've ever had. I mean If I described it, it would read something like Dragon Slayers room with all that suckin and shaggin and the howling banchees. She had a lovely brown body, perfect tightest little muff and was working that pincher like an artist. From the minute I kissed her it was like a glass of water spilled in her lap.

So the next evening she was at home already and we were texting again. I complimented her again on how fascinating she was, and she replied that's only her basic! What? I want to try your advanced! She describes in graphic detail whats to follow. But then says something like it's not going to happen, its over, we are done. Because that hot stuff is going to be held out for her future man / husband and I am just a player. She's had less than a handful of guys in her whole life. It's been 10 months since she's had it and is willing to wait 10 more months or 3 years if necessary. I wrote that that sound she just heard was my heart and my dick hitting the floor at the same time. That's it. She fuckin dumped me.

Well the following night we were texting again. I layed into the replay of what happened and what I wished I was currently doing to her. Another sleepless night and another bus ride followed. This time its a 4 hour session. This chick is unbelievable with the sounds, the waterworks and the moves. She's truly gifted, maybe one in a thousand like that?

But its over now. That sweet smelling pussy is in remission and she's working on that love muscle with her Kegel exercises. This girl would make a great partner for someone serious. I happen to know she's on a couple sites looking for a good man that won't fuck her over. Not all about money, just someone that wants the whole family deal.

Hi folks,

I'm in Dumaguete city for tonight and staying near the Robinsons mall. I was wondering if you all can recommend any independent escort that can come by my hotel? I try picking up some ladies at the Robinsons but no luck. I appreciate all your help.

TALAGA! What's your take on this WC?Well, its just an odd-appearing situation. Nobody travels all the way to phils and then Duma to spend one night, with nothing to do. Me-thinks there is some info in the gent's story that he did not share. Its possible he's there on business? Do you live in phils and just decided to travel there? Did a DIA contact drop out of the situation after you got there fella? Those seem legit reasons to be stuck there for a night with no poon.

However, it seems odd that he did not come on the board first and ask about the place, either on the open board or in PM. Its about as odd as if someone said, in a first post: "Hey, I'm in Dipolog for one night. What are the good bars for girls?" Nobody goes there for no good reason.

For a few of us discerning travelers, one the best things about the PI, aside from all the friendly Filipinas, are the sheer number of beautiful, rather under developed, unspoiled, natural beaches one can go to and get away from it all. These places are clearly not for everybody. If you want beaches with infrastructure, modern development, traffic lights, bars, tourists, girls, touts, rip offs, and everything else; go to Rio, Patong, or Acapulco.

Thank God there are still a few places like Sugar Beach (Siquijor), Sabang (Palawan), Port Barton (Palawan), Long Beach/San Vincente (Palawan), Cloud Nine and Dako Island (Siargao), and White Island (Camiguin) left. They won't be left alone for much longer. Bring a nice girl, some sun block, and the right attitude. You will have a great time. Otherwise you would be wise to avoid these kind of places.

Ten steps off the boat on the pier in Siquijoir, you can get on a motorbike for 250 pesos

Sam 14

slippery, i realize you were on a motorbike and you probably spent more time there than i did. i think i only stayed 2 nights. for those that haven't been there, ya it's pretty remote. when you get off the pier, you don't have your choice of any real restaurants or places to stay. coco grove is located about 15 km away on the south west side of the island. when i was there, they were fully booked at nearly 4k a night. so you should reserve in advance if you plan to stay there. there are other resorts rep001tered around and are probably the only places to get decent food. there's an old mansion up the hill past the hospital in siquijoir town that's been converted to a hotel. they can guide you there from the store at the pier and it's a pretty nice place.

in terms of girls, i wrote about the police officer that wanted to take me partying in san juan (same area as coco grove) and hook me up with p4p. i thanked him and took a miss. there's supposedly something going on there at night and i talked to some girls in town that were going. san juan may be the place if there is one. and of course there are allot of the "province girls" you always hear about if you got the time and patience to pursue. the ones i talked to were all friendly, mostly pretty and mostly available, a refreshing difference from the typical "hot" dumaguete woman just across the channel.

An old GF of mine from CDO died, after some liver problem (yes, I know she used to down Tequila like nobody's business, before getting wild in bed.) and her sister told me somebody did witch craft.

And then I went to her other sister in Manila and same story.

She really is dead, leaving her two kids behind. But I don't believe that witch craft is so "powerful"

For that matter the mother too insists it was the second time hit. That got the girl.

Three months, not a single post? Come on guys, there's thousands of foreigners living there, are you all married back and sitting at Sans Rival? I know it's a pretty pathetic scene, but isn't anything happening?

There's allot of good single trim there if you just look hard enough. Every girl in Negros Oriental will go there any time she gets a chance.

Dumaguete is definitely not a mongering destination. It is a dinky little town of about 130K. It is very conservative, so much so that local university gals at Silliman frequently get expelled for doing naughty things.

I never use pimps, I never go to MP and I never go to discos. I am strictly a man to woman negotiator.

The "action" here I would rate as a D on an A-F scale. There is one area where all the h*kers hang out call Tocino Country which is a half block series of eatery shacks with no bathroom-you have to [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) in the street-I kid you not. The women here are frequently amphetamine users (shabu the call it here) , but they are not the crazy type you see on Cops, but they are still unpredictable at times.

The prices are low as is the quality. You can get shortime here for 500p about 12USD. The people of this town are nice and mostly honest, you won't have problems generally getting robbed or anything like that. The women are mostly nice, but they are difficult to get into the sack unless they are h*kers.

I have not had one really good experience here in p4p, except for one non pro I picked up at a local eatery who came to my place for the night, but she was, to best of my knowledge not a p4p player and I got it for free. The paid action here is disappointing. In contrast to Cebu where I have had several outstanding experiences with attractive women, the women here simply do not know how to fuck, most are below an 7 in looks, frequently being out of shape from one or more kids. The town is filled with old white geezers, it's unusual to see a foreigner younger than 40. They are mostly cantanerous old farts who spend their waking hours half soused on beer usually. Judging from the forum here, they are mostly a pack of naive dummies when it comes to p4p and would not know a good piece if it hit them in the head. Sorry to sound so negative but that's my opinion. Take it or leave it.

There is one "disco" called Why Not bar where hookers hang out outside generally trying to overcharge guys in the 1000 peso range, about 25 bucks. Inside you will find the same uptight conceited ones you find in western countries with overpriced drinks. Some of them work on commission for the bar and the staff of the bar is like many bars-not very customer friendly and have been known to try to short change you.

If you get stuck in this one horse town you will find generally cheap prices, but again you get what you pay for. If you are well travelled you will be bored in about a day or two. The regular women here are hard to bed, expecting you to "love them" (marry them and support them) in exchange for getting in their pants. Also they like to play attention around for their amusement without any really intention of doing anything.

That being said I have gotten lucky here, but really it's more effort than the results are worth, much better to save your money for Cebu than to waste your time and money here.

If you do get stuck here just take a trike to Tocino Country, cost is only like 20cents. Beer and food is cheap and so are the h*kers, but it's really a rather dull experience for anyone who knows what a good GFE is. Hell most them cannot even give a decent BJ. Strictly amateurs, but at least the price is right. Oh year except for a few places the rest of the town rolls up it's sidewalks (when they have them) at about 10pm.

The previous report on Dumaguete may seem very negative, but in my estimation, based on three trips to Duma, it's quite accurate. Occasionally one can score a decent p4p along Rizal Blvd. Why Not Disco is hit or miss. This small city has one of the largest expat communities in the country, so local girls are not impressed and usually disinterested.

Dude get over yourself. The real problem is young studs have a bad reputation. The young'ens might be gwapo and talk a good game and when a Filipina goes with him to get her coochie banged three ways from Friday, she should feel oh so grateful she was shagged by such a gwapo young stud. And then he kicks her to the curb with nothing. A 'freebie' as young dudes call it. No taxi money, no money to help her out, no money to go buy herself a gift, not even 20php to take a jeep back home and buy herself a bottle of water.

Nothing is free, and a lot of Filipinas gravitate towards guys who contribute towards paying her bills and treating them like a person rather than a pin cushion. Treat a Filipina right and you will almost always be rewarded with an amazing GFE experience. Be just another young karipot hipster and possibly strike out more often than you can shake a stick at. Seems the news about younger kuripot guys have spread far and wide including Duma.

Filipinas have a lot of pride. Most of the non pros will never ask for money or help of any kind. But when financial assistance is offered and declined by the Filipina the monger should IMO insist she take it. Most will hesitate but the 500-1500php will mean a lot to her, but it's not a great deal of money to most foreigners. Take good care of a Filipina and she will feel respected and happy about the time you shared together. Most jump at the chance to repeat and sometimes they even offer to bring along a friend / cousin / classmate / sister / auntie for you to enjoy. Give a Filipina nothing and on her ride home no matter how well you banged her she will feel shame and regret and she most likely will not repeat.

I'm just saying mate that maybe the problem is you, and not the town. Duma is well known by expats for being a Uni town. Lots of young students that live in the Province stay in Duma crammed into rented bed spacers wishing to meet a nice kano that will respect and take care of them. The fact that you did not experience any of it and got the cold shoulder simply means the locals are hip to the whole 'freebie' thing. If as you claim Duma is filled with old geezers then surely all the Filipinas would jump at the chance to sleep with a younger guy. But that's not what happened. You did not dig deep enough or look close enough. You simply assumed that the Duma Filipinas there were playing hard to get, but I think you did not size things up correctly.

While I might be older than you (I assume) , I'm not an old geezer just yet LOL and I have no problem in Negros finding, bedding, repeating and getting multiple offers to spend time with her Filipinas friends all because I took good care and treated them with respect and more than just a rental. YMMV.

GiveAsIGet,

Just noticed you visited on 1-1-2014. I take it you did not read my post on the Cebu board about visiting during the Holidays, which means a slower time for mongering.

No wonder in a Uni town like Duma, that's packed to the gills with young available students you struck out. The students do not have class during the holidays, and they go back home to the Province to spend time with family. You did not do your homework mate and it shows.

The flurry of posts these last few days illustrates two contrasting situations about Dumaguete, and about the provinces, i.e. the countryside generally. If you come as a short-time visitor, you are best advised to BYOB. The Why Not Disco and the Boulevard down to the port area and Tocino country is hit and miss. You might get lucky, but it's mostly a miss. I would add, watch out for ladyboys, meth (shabu) addicts and young runaways.

On the other hand, if you stay a while and have patience, there are plenty of quality women and girls. But this is no different from the capital of any province. Every provincial city has a mess of colleges and one or two universities, as well as malls and a declasse public market where girls coming down from the hills wander around looking for something to do. Dumaguete is nothing special. In fact, it's more conservative than most towns, because it is virtually owned by a protestant university (Silliman). It is also above-average in terms of per-capital income. Actually, it's a boom town.

Finally, going back a ways, I refer to the excellent post by Pimpin Sam on 06-17-13. There are girls hidden in boarding houses in town, and in huts in the hills (and in fishing villages seaside) , but you need someone (preferably an older woman) to get them out. I would add that they do come out on their own for fiestas and other gatherings. There they clump together with relatives, neighbors or old classmates. You are not likely to pry one loose and take her home, but you can exchange CP numbers and get together the next day. So in Dumaguete and in the provinces generally, you need time and patience. If you cannot BYOB from Cebu or elsewhere, plan meetings beforehand on the internet.

Haha, nothing can be further than the truth. In fact if they knew how to read they see that I had no problem with p4p and even mentioned a freebee overnight that was a GFE, in my original post, if they actually read it.

You see the problem is forums online are often frequented by people that are not honest and have special motivations, such as promoting their businesses to lead people to the Phil under false pretenses.

I did not come to the R. P. To work at getting laid or court women and falsely misrepresent that I am their meal ticket. I came to relax and get laid. I don't work at it, and am not about to. If I wanted that, I'd stay in my home country where the women available to me are old, fat, ugly and hostile. I treat all women here with respect and am not cheap with them. But I am not going to lie to them and pull the wool over their eyes about my intentions. Also many of these so called nice girls here are looking for the long term con score-A rich guy with a nice house who can take care of them and their often illegitimate kids. It's quite obvious by the qualifying questions they ask you when you first meet them (do you own your house or are you renting, etc)

These guys who tell me that I there is a "problem with me" are probably some of the same drunken geezers I alluded to in my OP.

The Fact is as the first responder noted is that my report is accurate, a realistic idea of what you can expect if you visit or live in Dumag. If you want to court conservative women and their families (most Filipinas expect you to support them and help their extended families if you want them other than for p4p) , sure come to Dumag.

If you want to become deaf early and love smoke filled discos (even though supposedly there is no smoking here, yeah right) , go to Why not Disco; if you like being surrounded with women that mostly look like little girls with small breasts, spend your time paying for overpriced drinks there.

Sorry I live in the provincial town outside Dumag. There are no hidden women eager to get laid here in the mountains or elsewhere, that's another fantasy. Again, you want to lead them on and give them the impression that their knight in shining armour has come to rescue them, go up into the mountains, but be careful. There is no police force here to protect you and you are in a mountain community subject to their local whims and laws. Dumag. I could be much luckier if I lied to them and made it seem like they would live there life in luxury, married till death do us part, but I am too honest of a man for that.

I have no complaints. Cebu is just a few hours away by a good bus system, where the pretty women who have conjugal skills ply their trade without me having to treat them like my fiancee.

There are no hidden women eager to get laid here in the mountains or elsewhereMaybe not eager to get laid, but I met one that was eager to get a phone. An old woman took me through a little mountain village and woke up a pretty 19 year old that was hiding in the shack.

Obviously your mileage is going to vary depending on your target group. If you're not having enough fun, lower your standards.

Ya, it does usually take time for the fresh gwapa ones, and they are few and far between in that place. Furthermore, for some reason almost all of them are allot chubbier than most places I've been, that's why I left. But they drop that innocent trip allot of times, you don't have to lie (see below). Malatapi is pretty good on market day, but it's allot better if you have a local to help. I fell in with a boat builder from Zamboanguita. We'd meet there on Wednesdays and when I saw something I liked he would hit her up. It was funny, he would jabber something in Visayan. I could just hear "ball pen" then he would hand over her number.

A bit condescending and argumentative in the end, but an honest report from his point of view, thanks.

D Cups asked about the SW side. I used to like Saiton and Bayawan. There may be more pretty girls in Saiton than Dgte City. There's one noisy hotel for 700 with the only place in town to eat. People congregate in the plaza on Sundays, but you need to keep going back or to know someone. Maybe befriend a moto taxi or a friendly lady. I think Bayawan has the longest boulevard in the country but there's no one on it. I found it better than Dgte and the most fun I've had in the Philippines was with a Bayawan gal. But I found her through someone else I met in the mall. There's not tons of them all over Bayawan, but I thought the attitude was allot better. That's because of all the foreigners in Dgte. These ladies have heard it all a thousand times. So the few gems that are there aren't going to air that hot stuff out just for kicks. So if you do want top shelf, you do need to find the ones that can't make it into town because they can't afford it. And they haven't been hit on by every young scuba diver and sex tourist. And no, I never even came close to a Silliman student. I couldn't even get eye contact, at least not when they were in uniform.

When I wrote the fresh gwapa young women are few, I meant the ones you find around town that are still willing to hang around with a foreigner are few. Again, unless you invest the time. You see lots of them, but generally unimpressed and disinterested as Q55 noted. Their parents have warned them repeatedly about guys like you. Jaja

We'd meet there on Wednesdays and when I saw something I liked he would hit her up. It was funny, he would jabber something in Visayan..I too was suprised at how fat many of the women are in Dumaguete. Maybe it's post pregnancy fat but they sure do seem, many of them to carry an innertube around their bodies.

Also as another poster stated the BLVD in Dumaguete is filled with ladyboys. I was 99.9 per cent accurate in my home country identifying ladyboys but here I find it much more difficult because they are all small boned for one thing. I spoke to two a few nights ago, one of which I knew immediately was a lady boy but the other I was sure was female. Turned out I was wrong! Other was a ladyboy too. So be careful.

Also here the LIE about their status. In my country you get beat up or killed if you do that especially if it's in the bedroom that the truth is discovered.

Ha, you're right Silliman girls don't even give me eye contact usually, but there's always an exception to the rule I guess. Same goes for the women in the malls here, so you mall chasers don't expect much here in Dumag.

Hope to check out Pimpin's suggestions on Bayawan and other places. I really hate travelling otherwise I'd be going to Cebu more often.

The situation in Cebu is much better than I was led to believe from online content. More on that later maybe.

I met an 30's woman on the BLVD and after talking to her realized that low and behold she did have a brain, which is usually a good indication that she probably knows how to fuck. Anyways she gave me the old,"up to you" when I asked what she expected short time and I was pleasantly suprised she was an 7-8 in the technique department. I gave here 600. She seemed very happy with that, but maybe not as she did not answer my text for bfast a few days later. The women here are often hard to read. They will not express their displeasure often and will lie to you so as to save (your) face, so often it's hard to tell what they think.

I have had no direct experience with the mountain search so Pimpin could be correct, I have no doubts. And the idea of making contacts is always worthwhile, but the ones I have tried to make here in Dumag don't know what they are doing. One tried to send me jail-bait, which I told her before I cannot accept and her other referral never showed. So I am batting zero with the intermediaries but I don't like to use them anyways generally.

Since my last Latin Love of my life, who was a 9 in bed, I have had a difficulty accepting women that I pay for that don't really know what they are doing between the sheets. Also there are some big breasted women here, but big breasts and not fat is a rare find here.

That's not counting the beer I treated her to at Why Not-her favorite night club.

But I would be neglectful to report that she was looking for the big score-someone naive foreigner to stake her stupid business idea of a restro-bar (for which she has NO experience or knowledge). She told me she figures it will be around 100K USD to finance. Good luck finding a guy to do that whilst turning tricks on the Blvd!

Maybe her father ought to be warning foreigners about his daughter (s) , and their extended families?

But that being said, I do get your point. Thanks for that.

The women in Dumaguete have a reputation for being among the prettiest in the PI. Evidently, they have a lot of Spanish blood.

I was walking the street after being in Duma a couple of days and an 18 year old syt walked up to me and told me she had just arrived from Cebu. She was looking for her mother, and asked me to take care of her. We ate at McDonalds and then I boom boombed her twice in my room at the Check Inn.

A few days after I was waiting online at a sari sari store, when I caught the eye of another syt. She was making a run to the store to buy some ingredient for her mother who was preparing a meal. We spoke nary a word but walked together to the Check Inn where we did it for as long as she was willing to keep her family waiting for dinner. I gave both girls a modest sum and they were happy.

On the Blvd. Opposite the Why Not Disco at about 8PM, I found another lady from whom I got a freebie. She refused money.

The name of the supervisor at the Why Not is Cindy. She will tell you who is doing what there and perhaps make an introduction.

On occasion I have found pretty girls at Tocino. Then, too, a couple of times the trike drivers have introduced me to girls who have just pulled in from the province and are forced to hunt for a few days. Now I do have a healthy skepticism for anything a trike driver tells me but this was real.

I went to the overpriced (same price as Angeles) bordellos out by the airport and got phone numbers from the girls whom I liked. Then I called them the next day and set up dates for afternoon delight for considerably less pesos. I was doing the same at the karaokes, get numbers and phone the next day. I was getting laid as much as I usually do anywhere in the PI.

Oh, I am fat, ugly, an old geezer ( 40) , and I have no game. Many times I work more than I want trying to get laid in Cebu or Angeles. There is a lot of Baloney going on there. Duma takes an adjustment but that is part of the fun of traveling.

I owned a biz in Cebu in the IT sector for a few years. Wife and I in the USA weren't getting along, so we split and I figured I'd live in Cebu. What I found is that I couldn't imagine a "relationship" with anyone who also turned me on in bed. One girl I fooled around w / who was bad in bed but INTERESTING told me that Cebu was close to a cultural wasteland but Dujmaguete had people who cared about learning, doing new things, and not being boring.

Reading the Dumaguet board I'd hoped to find more about smart girls that stay in town after university as I'd heard from the chick in Cebu that lived in both. But I don't see that. Look, PH girls are the greatest, but in Cebu even those that went to University don't like to explore or expand their horizons. Shopping is the most challenging activity for many, and it's not their fault, it's the product of the culture there. Maybe Domaguete is no better, and is also more conservative?

Where is a place in the PH I can meet girls that are smart and will be open to Western guys? They went to the best universities, and I guess 99% of them are rich so they don't care about Westerners? Smart is sexy to me, but when I'm not in bed it's also interesting.

What about Thailand vs. PH. Any of you find girls are more / less boring, with interest only in Mall-ing?

Thanks.

Tagalas are the most advanced filipinos. They only need to learn one language in school-English-not Tagalog plus English. The only good conversationalists I've met in the Philippines were girls in Manila with some college. Even some of the hookers at the Manila Bay Cafe do more thinking than Sillimanians in Dumaguete Unfortunately, I do not want to live in Manila, and it would be unfair to bring a Manilena to a Visayan-speaking island.

Some girls can speak Ilokano, Tagalog, Visayan and English very fluently, and I personally know several of them.

Seems like you invented the word Tagalas when you meant Tagalogs and I disagree with your assertion that "Tagalogs are the most advanced filipinos".

All educated filipinos learn English AND Filipino languages as they are mandatory subjects. They also need Filipino (which is essentially Tagalog with a few differences) if they want a career in business and government, and more and more parliamentary sessions including the President's State of the Union address is now in Filipino.

Many more Senate sessions are now in Filipino (in the 80s English was compulsory in Congress)

Also, don't confuse language competence with thinking ability. Just because a girl, even in MBC, doesn't speak fluent English doesn't mean she cannot think. I have encountered many very smart kids in schools who are very good thinkers but have rudimentary English. I agree that many Sillimanians iN Dumaguete don't think much because it is a fault of the curriculum and the College and not some lack of innate ability of the specific student.

Taking a Manilena to Visayas is no different to taking a Visayan to Manila. Just observe the throngs of Visayans who flock into Manila and seem to get on well. Show business is awash with them.

Filipinos are much better at learning and adapting to the maze of dialects in their country than us westerners will ever be, and we shouldn't judge them on English skills alone.

As with any population, some members are just plain dumb; others are smart. Some smart provincial girls miss out on a formal education but they learn very quickly, and I bet many mongers have met some of these girls in AC and elsewhere from north to far south.

Perhaps my sample is too small but even the college grads I've dated are not that bright. I've dated some Filipina nurses that are cute as can be but just not capable of having any sort of prolonged or deep conversation. It's just not the way they are wired IMO. I haven't dated any female doctors but I've met several female professors that were nice but not that smart and not that pretty. RK works with a lot of them so he probably has an opinion on this. WR lives there, too, so he might know of some smart Pinays albeit kinky hehe. In contrast, Vietnamese girls are smarter but more "Westernized" in that they prefer younger guys. The Vietnamese girls that work with Filipinas think the Filipinas are "sweet but stupid". Nevertheless, I'd take a Filipina over any other Asian girl any day but I think you have to rely on Western mates to have a decent conversation or any sort of intellectual interaction. The Pinays are great for sex and perhaps homemaking if you want to marry one but I have yet to find one with an inquisitive mind. I hope I haven't offended anyone with this message.

I've met some pretty smart ones but it definitely helps when I'm not picking on the young and prettiest. My favorite are the ones that reply to texts within the same hour with succinct answers. I actually have one that gives me shit if I use "Filipino time." Maybe that's why she's manager at the mall. Anyway, the remarks bring to mind this post which has helped me laugh it off allot of times when I'd probably otherwise just scream fuck:

I've met some pretty smart ones but it definitely helps when I'm not picking on the young and prettiest.I recommend you give okcupid a look. Of the five smartest girls I've met three came from that site. Two of the three are UP grads and the third is DLSU. All are well-traveled internationally, quite cosmopolitan, and great conversationalists. One is a Fil-Am and the other two worked overseas holding managerial-level jobs. Late 20s to early 30s. For their looks, one 6 and two 7's. (10's to me are the super-elite models, and 9's have looks akin to genuine working models but who don't have enough of the x-factor to attain renown.) On okcupid I've come across several very bright women who are solid 8's and a couple of 9's, but unfortunately for me they weren't looking for a fubu arrangement. The site is free if you don't need the advanced features, and you don't.

Recently spent 4 days in Dumaguete.

Great place, definitely will return.

Watch out for the lady boys and all will be good. Option which I tried (and worked) was to ask them for girls.

They bring them out of the woodwork.

Or else hang around the boardwalk around 5-8 pm. Early bird gets the worm.

Just tried to post the pics of the lactating 18 yo. What a yummy delicious experience that was. 1000 all in.

Girls I managed to bang in dgte were from:

- Tagged contacts.

- Contacts from the lady boys (with specific instructions as to what I wanted and got it, do not settle for anything less that what you specified)

- Girls on the boardwalk (the whole length, not just in front of Why Not)

IMO. Why Not is for guys who want to bang the ugliest, skankiest girls in Negros.

My 2 fav places to eat:

Food at HayaHay is insanely good and cheap.

Food at Casablanca (breakfast as well) very, very good but little more $.

I know that filters out many of the really smart girls.

Professionally I have met some business operators in Manila. This girls 30 ish, smart and going places are in a different league. They are not looking for a middle aged white boyfriend. They have designed on high achieving pinoy guys with money and connections. When I am mixing in this group, I tend not to have a 21 piece of arm candy with me, instead sticking to the celibate westerner line.

Last year I did a trip to Malaysia. If you are looking for smart young women, there are many educated Malaysian girls that know that the Malaysian men are not up to the task. That trip really opened up my eyes to opportunity in that country. When I say Malaysian girl I'm not meaning WG or massage ladies, I mean professionals, designers, accountants etc.

The girlfriends I had in Cebu were the greatest ever in some ways: like great to have fun with, including in bed. But sophisticated or non-provincial or giving a rats ass about learning or challenging the intellect, well that's incredibly rare.

So, right now as I plan to work remotely for a year or 5 years (my career will let me do that) I'm debating Cebu vs. CM Thailand vs. Vietnam. Great insights from the person that mentioned silliman university.Ya man, Thai girls are smart. They seem to have easily picked up on the notion that a hot girlfriend (Don't even have to be that hot) can fetch a good 70k baht a month or allot more. All they need to be is average smart to get their dream home in Burlilam built to specs. I hear you about the simplicity of many of the girls here. Luckily for me I still hear Filipinas say "Age is just a number".

But I must say that Silliman Pinay are pretty smart too, or maybe it's just good intuition. I lived in Dgte for months and I never got a single look from a Silliman student....haha

Of course, women who must resort to selling their bodies are not going to be the most educated women around, for the most part. Besides, are there no women that are intelligent potential partners or just not available to overweight, poorly dressed, alcoholic aging men who are only looking for pussy? The mirror is a *****.

This post isn't meant to insult or disrespect anyone, just a short story, some pros and cons, and my opinion of what I see on the ground in Dumaguete City.

Woke up this morning to this obnoxiously loud PA. What the fuck is that horrible noise? Oh ya, I died and went to hell. Wait, now I remember, I'm in Dumaguete in a cheap hotel. There must be something happening in the function room. Oh well, at least it's only 600 a night and it's actually pretty deluxe on Philippine standards. Large clean, otherwise quiet room. Large real bed, hot & cold. There's actually quite a selection of decent hotels with elevators in the 800 range.

Check my phone, the chubby 19 year old I met yesterday that I sent load is blowing off our date. And the other one wants a 50 peso load. So I say sure, let's meet now, I'll give you money. Some dumb excuse. And the third one went back to Valencia already and blew me off. Whatever, this is Dumaguete, no surprise. Oh well, at least the food is good. I go to Casa Blanca for the best Spanish omelet I've seen anywhere in the world. Chunks of all kinds of sauteed vegetables. Complete with french bread, jam, salad, and tea for a whopping 225.

Then I go look around again. It's like any Philippine town, it's got a busy downtown with a public market, a small mall, bunch of stores, tricycles, etc. But the difference is, it's like someone took a giant vacuum and sucked up all the young pretty girls. I can say that now having dozens of points of comparison. And the few that are left have this different kind of attitude. They don't respond to a hello and a compliment as they would in other places, it's more of a snobbish / ignore type of thing. It's even worse than I remember. And the Why Not seems to have reached a new low. It's louder, smokier, and less girls than ever. And Tocino Country? You don't need a hole to finish in that badly, do you?

But then I get a text from someone that appeared on my phone 2 days before. A friend of another girl I don't know either. Says she's 27, only had one boyfriend and hasn't had romance in over a year. She's tall, brown and good body. I got her in my room, and somehow the pants came off and suddenly we're shagging.

After that I went and had a look in the department store. I'd say there's 15 -18 girls working in the entire lower floor and about the same above. (About as many as in the Mens dept at any other mall). And more guys working than girls. When I walk by they look the other way. I'm just thinking, man, this is amazingly bad. I better go write a warning post on ISG aimed at guys contemplating this as a retirement place.

Now it's dark already, so I go have seat on the boardwalk for a few minutes. Here comes this cute little thing I saw the night before. Tiny, 35 kilograms, 21 yeas old. She was with the one that blew me off before. So she sits down next to me. I start sweet talking her, says she's only made love with one guy, and it's been a long time. Some how we ended up in my room, and then we're shagging. Awesome little A-be cup boobs. (Sorry Dee Cups).

So then I go to Mifuni and have the best Chicken Teppanyaki I've ever had, went down to the boulevard again, sat near the sea under a lovely moon and watched a nice lightening show behind Siquijoir Island.

But seriously, it sounds like fun and games, good grub and two in one afternoon aint bad. But it's grim, it really is. You would have to either use more unconventional methods, or dating sites, or import someone. Otherwise, I'd say you're going to be in an entirely different world and you better get used to seeing more white guys than pretty girls.

(Sorry Dee CupsHi Sam, ya, its not the smorgasbord that is Burgos, LA Cafe, Angeles and Cebu but some good real estate bargains nevertheless and more of a family community. I noticed a stuck-upness in Duma when I was there too but still scored. I am undecided where to retire in 2022 but still considering Duma, Valencia, Siquijor, Alcoy, Dalaguete and Antipolo near Manila. I want to rent for at least six months before I decide exactly where. Of course a lot can happen in 8 years. Maybe I will lose my mind and get married or something crazy like that. Thanks for your report, especially the food.

Not sure if you're pulling an Elmore Leonard to put the dogs off the scent or if you truly feel the hopelessness you write. But, hey man, you did better than a dog with two dicks on this particular afternoon.

I occasionally live in Duma, and after being away awhile, I always look forward to my triumphant return. In fact, after a horrid stint in Nairobi for 6 months: armed robbery, unwanted male aggression, and assorted other unpleasantries, I am taking a 4-6 week assignment in Cebu and look forward to spending some time in Duma.

I agree, the kano concentration is a bit heavy in Duma but, hell man, many of them support Red Horse and company so strongly that they disqualify themselves before the afternoon breeze blows in from Siquijor.

You are right. Why Not is becoming good to play pool and dance and little else. Finding talent there is strictly hit and miss, with a disproportionate ratio of misses to hits. So, count it out.

But, the Boulevard. Ah, yes, the great Rizal Boulevard. One can take a serendipitous stroll there anytime of the day or night. I've struck gold at 6 am, 6 pm and midnight. And the beauty of it, I think, is that Duma is a regional magnet for beauties from Dauin, Bais, Mabinay, Bacolod and all points between.

And, rent a bike, or get in a pedi and head up to Valencia. Where the mad Australian hangs out. Nuggets there too.

And if you decide to take a celibate weekend, for whatever reason, Siquijor, Apo Island, Zamboangita, the hot springs in the mountains all hold charms and activities like few I have seen around.

Now, granted, I am just an uncultured Wisconsin farm boy who's seen little of the Philippines but, for me, Duma offers so much, I am not inclined to travel much further.

But, horses for courses.

It really is a pleasant place just outside the city and the city attitudes. Haha, ya the San's Rival/Red Horse Crew aren't much competition, but unfortunately I think the attitudes are due to the the young women are so used to seeing them that its not easy at first to decipher the difference between them and fine upstanding members such as us.

And ya, those provinces are where you can find some sweet stuff. I'm going to see one tomorrow in Zamboanguita that's never had a kiss on the cheek, but I intend to try and change that. She claims to be ready for romance. In fact there's 3 there I plan to see. It's a bit tricky to meet that kind, if they are in the city they're unlikely to stop and talk. It usually takes a friend to make contact, but once the word gets out it tends to spread fast.

Oh, by the way. Today I really blew it with the small one. She texted me and said she was with her friend. I asked if I could join, I wanted to "try a romance" with two girls. She got really pissed off and told me to stop texting and delete her number. Doh.

Thanks, I hope we meet again.

I spent two weeks in Duma. Maybe I was there during school vacation but there just wasnt alot of girls to choose from. Esp online.

I found a hot girl online visiting her family from Cebu in Duma and we went to Sikitogether. Got another girl from WhyNot for free.

All in all, I like Duma the city but would prob be inclined to bring a girl from Manila or Cebu. Nightlife options are pretty sparse. I imagine you would have an issue seeing the same girls out everytime.

Fellow Pervs,

My trip to Manila and Dumbaguete.

I arrived Manila on Nov 7th and departed for Dumabaguete Nov 8th to Nov 15th and left early on Nov 16th Manila to Tokyo. The following is my report on this adventure.

Cebu Pacific.

No problems here at all, for a Philippine airline, I am a bit surprised. Only drawback is they schedule a lot of flights at around 5 AM and causes congestion at check in. The only other thing was the pilots made a wrong turn when taxing to the Tokyo gate and had to make a you turn back to the intended gate, WHOOPS.

Night in Manila Nov 7th.

I stayed at the Amazonia down the street from the LA Caf all night for 1250 peso. A bit of a shitty room with various things that do not work but I guess that's what you get when you're a Budget Banger. I took what I felt to be a nice looking lady from the LA for 2000 peso all night, but she gave me that "I am shy" routine. The massage was good, but she kept covering the kitten with her hand. The we did the bunny hop at night and next morning she gave me a massage that was pretty good and a happy ending. I found myself a bit short to pay her the agreed upon amount so we had to make a run to the money changer. After that I just hung out at McD in Ermita the mall, and LA caf till it was time to go back to the airport to catch the Dumaguete flight.

Dumbaguete, From Nov 8th to Nov 15th.

Although this town is much smaller scale than Manila, I still think it a shithole too, just a smaller version of the Manila shithole. Its all there, litter, bad driving manners, smelly sea water, seeming stupid people, and car exhaust smell everywhere. They say it's the place to retire and maybe that is so, but I just do not see it. But plenty of white men and even blacks in that town. Plenty of beggers, and peddlers in that town and at the park.

Action in Dumaguete.

As the Cups says, BYOB or have something lined up. I had a lady that worked in a city department as my GF for the week. She was 32 and had 2 kids, and had not been laid in a long time and was very active in the sack. She was not a 2 bagger but was not glamour queen either. But she sure loved to get it on and that was a plus. I rented a bike also and she took me around the country side and seaside. She later confessed to me that she wanted to take her clothes off and do it outside and I felt the same way, but it did not happen because she was afraid we would get caught by a passerby.

Was thinking I wanted to make her a more permanent GF until I met her family. Like about 20 members living in a compound owned by her mother. I saw nothing but need throughout this family. I figure if I marry her, it would become their thanksgiving and I would be the turkey. So much for that plan with her. She also failed some integrity test I did to see how she would handle it and react and she did not pass so I began thinking "Exit, Stage Left". But she made some money off me which is fine, perhaps she will use it for her kids. I have not contacted her nor has she contacted me since my last day in Dumaguete.

Call girl meet up.

I met another DIA in Duma, and we met and partied together and had a great time and she gave me a tour around on her scooter at 2:30 AM. We went to various places and bars. However I was not even able to make it to even first base with this lady even though she was very flirty. She slept at my hotel but did not even shower and kept looking from the bedroom to see if I was peaking on her I suppose. She left that morning about 11 AM and I thought that was the end of that. The next day I got a message from her saying she wanted to stop by my hotel and use the bathroom and freshen up which I agreed to. She came and stayed a bit but I wanted to get to breakfast before 10 AM and had her leave then. I did hear from her on DIA but since died out when I told her I do not know when I be back. I think she was a doll, but she did not want to do the bunny hop with me. Bummer! I suppose if I was there more long term, I could have had a warmer response.

Mother Theresa.

Another DIA meetup that went south on me. As the nick name says, this one was just not doable, and I did not even try. Coffee and dinner and bye bye. The only place she hangs out other than home is at church.

Hanging out at the Whynot and Blue Monkey with the Cups.

I met with the Cups and we went to the Whynot bar which is one of a few places you can find action. Very Hit or miss bar and I missed 3 days in a row. We hung out at the Whynot, a bit but the Cups had some lady giving him the run around on a meetup with a lady with big tits at the Blue Monkey, we ended up walking away from the deal back to the Whynot bar. For a Friday, there were many ladies but most taken or they were those "Good Girl" types that were there to dance with themselves. To me it's a not a very good place for action and that's whynot. Pun intended. There are a few FLs that hangout in the park across from the Whynot, but I was getting plenty with City worker lady. One FL at the Whynot said she would give me a nice massage and happy ending for 500, but she smoked and that's a turnoff off for me. I walked out while she went to dance.

Sincerely Nice to meet you the Cups, I enjoyed our time together hanging out. I even learned a few things from you too on how to pick up ladies. I noticed that you do like a little coffee with your cream?

Those things that go Hmmm (Rap song).

I arrived at Terminal 3 in Manila and went to the metered taxi stand. I waited 3. 5 hours and still had ten people in front of me and the one way through the airport and other roads around the terminal turned into a parking lot. One guy who got in a taxi did not move more than 50 ft in 30 minutes due to the stand still. I gave up and asked a guard how I can walk away from the airport, and if willing to walk about a 1/3 of a mile, you can catch a white taxi in 3 min. He did bullshit me about a 70 peso heavy traffic surcharge which I gladly paid to just get away from that terminal. My wait in May 2014 was 2 hours. However when I returned from Dumbaguete on the 15th, I did not even look and walked the 1/3 mile to catch a white right away back to Ermita on the 15th. It took me two times to figure it out, but at least I know what to do the next time. Can't believe people put up with this shit, Plenty of whites coming in but only yellow can pick up. A yellow sometimes does not come for 10 min with a huge lineup of waiting customers. Yellow Taxi must have paid off someone big time.

Here come the fire trucks in Dumaguete, there was this Fireman sitting way up top on the truck struggling to put on his jacket with a cigarette in his mouth. I guess you had to see it. In this town, if there is no fire. Well they will bring it with them I suppose.

While City worker and I were returning to Dumaguete from the countryside, there were these two guys on a motorcycle and they had a dead goat sandwiched between them. Dumbass city worker wants to take a photo while driving the motorcycle. I told her in an angry voice I do not want a photo that bad.

Saw two trucks hauling human cargo while riding with City worker. The human cargo all stood up in the bed of the truck five across and seemingly perfect single file. Wonder where they were taking them?

Family of five all on one scooter with child hanging off the side on mom's knee.

No stoplights in Dumaguete.

Girl rides motorcycle taxi with me and get off about a mile from the airport and paid 10 pesos, but the driver wanted 150 pesos from me.

A lot of old white men in this town walking around with 19 year old looking girls. I guess this is why people retire here?

Honycomb hotel restaurant menu: Eggs, toast with marmalade, fruit and coffee 50 pesos (Good deal) but Eggs, toast with butter (I think), fruit and coffee 90 pesos. Down in the "Extras" on same menu, Butter 15 pesos. I ordered the marmalade toast and butter extra and they charged me 90 pesos LOL. Extra packet of powder creamery for coffee: 30 pesos. I, "Like the Cups" like a little coffee with my cream. Why the 40 peso difference? The waitress told me that butter cost more. Which is a crock of shit in the amount in question.

Cebu Pacific pilot made a wrong turn at Narita in Japan and had to make a you turn to get us to the correct terminal.

At 6 AM and even sometimes at 5 AM, the Zumba dancers or Jazzersize people blast the speakers right across the street from the hotel. I get whoompa whoompa in my room at 5 to 6 AM. I am told they have a permit to do that. But the hotel does nothing about it and care less about their paying customers. Another reason not to stay there.

People just throw their shit in the ocean, all kinds of litter in the sea. I swear these people are Ten hairs away from being Baboons (Lewis Black).

I am walking out of a department store, I am the only one in the area at the moment, I try to go out the incoming lane (No one else is around) and the guard insist I go out the outgoing lane.

Song at the Whynot that repeats "Bubble Butt" about a 100 times. Now there is an intelligent song.

Hey that person is getting off the bus. Well. , at least the driver slowed down.

Both bed lamps at the Amazonia and the honeycomb did not work, Water dribbled out of the faucet, cable TV goes out twice, have to hold the handle for a while to flush the toilet, no place to leave ones toiletries in the bathroom, shitty wifi reception, life is a ***** being a Budget Banger.

No convenience stores in Dumaguete.

Had a 50 year old lady in the seaside park ask me if I wanted a blowjob.

Fruity beer? You serious? I had a lemon beer and tasted like shit.

The only presentable bathroom throughout my whole trip (Including the Hotels) was the Awesome Desert coffee shop in Dumaguete.

Talked with a lady at the Whynot with such bad breath she could melt the butter at the Honycomb hotel, It really made me sick to smell it. Here is our conversation:

Me: Say are you Catholic?

Bad breath: Yes I am.

Me: Hey, who is the pope right now?

Bad Breath: Pope John Paul the 2nd.

Me: Oh?. Say did you know he died in 2005? Maybe its Benedict the 16th your thinking of?

Bad breath: yes he is the Pope now.

Me: You ever hear of Pope Francis?

Bad breath: No.

(Teenage waste land, its only teenage waste land, their all wasted).

This is one questions I ask of phil folks, about 80% say Benidict, 15% don't know, and the others get it correct. I guess they listen to Bubble Butt too much. Well Franics comes to the Phils in Jan 2015, maybe the % of the Phils folks will get it right?

Yeah I know. It the third world, and I do keep cumming back here.

Nov 15th at the LA Caf.

It took a while but I found what I was looking for and she was a real cutie that gave me great active bunny hop. It was my last night in this nutty country and wanted a real active hop. Boy was it ever so it ended with a bang. I felt really drained and slept till 3:20 AM for my flight back to sex prison Japan.

I met one other that I did in May 2014, but she knew from the 40 peso tip I gave her the last time I want nothing to do with her even if she was a cutie. At least she remembered me.

End.

Hi JP, it was good to meet you, too! I'm glad we were able to hang out together. I think Duma is the kind of place you have to live in to score big. All those college girls have been warned about us and the home team has the advantage. Still, the area west of Duma, Valencia, is great living community for expats. Scenic, cool, quiet. It really needs a watering hole for us SM drinkers, tho. I met several Westerners there and am seriously considering renting a house there when I retire. Maybe have a little bungalow in Siquijor, too, if I can afford it.

Dumaguete is really nice. On my first trip, a few years ago, I flew in and did the waterfall hike. I had a great guide. Met her online and we had fun, hiked up to the waterfall. Take a swimsuit.

On the second trip, earlier this year, I was doing the whale watching tour in south Cebu and then, on a lark, continued south, took the ferry over to Negros, and stayed at the Dumaguete waterfront. We went up to some of the snorkeling spots north of Dumaguete, but never made it to Apo Island. Decided to try something new and booked a suite on the overnight ferry back to Cebu City. X.

DC, your posts are getting harder and harder to read. When you reply to a post, if you snip, please do it inside the parentheses so it's not mutilated. You can use "preview post" to see what it's going to look like. Or edit afterwards. Thanks.

Regarding noise, it's one of the noisiest places I've ever been. Second only to Manila, which sounded like a warzone to me. With all those thousands of tricycles and motorcycles with either no muffler, or the loudest pipe they can buy, the whole city is in a roar. The noise, and it being the main N/S truck route, spoils what would be one of the most pleasant boulevards in the country.

Sticky, want a quiet hotel? Try Plaza Maria. A better name would be The Plaza Maria Multi-Function Hall. Two floors of loud speaker conference rooms for the deaf that could go all day every day. Want to have a three week long function? We're available. Wanna have your church band every Sunday morning, 8:00-noon? We're available. Wanna have band rehearsal every Saturday night, so you can practice the same 5 stupid songs you play every Sunday? No prob. I asked what about the guests? She said if you rent the place, you can do what you want. Really? So If I blow it inside my room all night no one can complain? No, that's your right, you rented the room.

Again, if it's a sure deal you want, there's those dancer bars up the road, past the airport, there's around four of them. And the girls don't get taken out that much.

I dug up the pictures, but not the notes. Going from memory, the boat left at midnight and arrived in Cebu after sunrise. I think the cost was over 2000 for a private room. A very simple room with toilet / shower. I wasn't traveling alone, so I wasn't able to explore the idea of inviting someone from the other berthing area to my "suite".

The boat left from the main port in Dumaguete. Other than flying, the alternative is to hire a vehicle to Sibulan, cross the Tanon Straits to the souther tip of Cebu Island, then 3. 5 hours by bus / 2. 5 by taxi (if you can get one) to Cebu city. Then you need to pay for a hotel room. Since the buses generally don't run this route late at night, you are limited to traveling during the day. The overnight ferry allowed me to stay in Duma longer (till midnight), the cost was the equivalent of a hotel room, and it was more comfortable than bus.

I found the overnight ferry an excellent alternative.

There is plenty of information about Apo Island online. But always nice to get a good field report on ISG.

I spent time at Mike's place between Apo and Duma. I think the town is Daien. There is decent snorkeling there. Nice little resort that is well run. Lots of good reviews online.

The waterfall near Valencia is worth a visit.

I am dubious about giving a "detailed report" about a non-mongering point as there has been alot of talking on this site about non-mongering / non-relevant topics which I too don't really like reading.

I think I will leave it at that. I have been to Apo island, highly recommend it. Swimming in the ocean alongside huge wild sea turtles was the highlight for me. Leave it to tripadviser to inform you all in detail.

The falls in Valencia as well are highly recommended. Make sure you do not wear flip flops, and are in decent physical health (ie; cardiac arrest) and you will be ok.

Going to Apo Island generally means taking an outfitted banca (outrigger) and diving offshore Apo. Mike's Resort at Dauin, which someone else mentioned, sends a boat. Harold's Mansion in Dgte has a large boat with foreigners and their gals. The gals stay on board. That's what I have done with visitors to Dumaguete. Mike's boat had an interesting collection of divers. As for staying at Apo, a lady friend, who went there with a foreigner, advises against it. It's hot, she says, and no electricity. It's best as a day trip.

No idea why anyone would even want to go to Apo Island (much less stay there) if they are not a diver. There is nothing there except a hotel and restaurant attached to it. Maybe they have a Giligan's Island fantasy. I stayed at Harold's Mansion and dove with Scuba Ventures, which is in the same building though.

You do not have to get a ticket to ride on the boat from a resort.

I just showed up at the dock and paid right then and there. They got me on the next boat. I had to wait for a while as there is only a couple departures / day.

It really is one of the best feelings ever. Not into the bar scene, but I do enjoy traveling, frequently on my own, much to the puzzlement of most locals. "Where is your wife / girlfriend, Sir?

End.Are you in the military?

Just returning from my first trip in Dumaguete. Needed a break from AC and I enjoy scuba diving so I thought I would check it out. I had heard that there is a sizable expat community so I went to see for myself.

Few notes:

1. If you are coming here for girls, don't bother. You will see loads of old fellas with Filipinas but it is my understanding that most of them are from Internet dating sites, and come from the province. Forget all the talk of university girls. They know what we are up to and won't even look your way for half a second.

2. The expat community is quite visible, but they seem quite snooty and don't seem to appreciate a younger guy on their turf. If you are thinking of moving here, be prepared for your social circle to be 60+ yrs old and about 50% with some.

Kind of disability or deformity.

3. Safety here is great, probably he safest place I have been in the Philippines so far.

4. From what I can tell, the cost of living here isn't especially cheap compared with other places, and you can set up Internet dates for anywhere. Seems like the big draw here for expats is the safety and other expats to socialize with.

Of course, women who must resort to selling their bodies are not going to be the most educated women around, for the most part. Yet to denigrate their native intelligence is just foolish and not evidenced based. Besides, are there no women that are intelligent potential partners or just not available to overweight, poorly dressed, alcoholic aging men who are only looking for pussy? The mirror is a *****.Almost all women sell their bodies, some just do it by the month.

Dg1980I stayed a total of maybe 5 weeks in Duma on two different occasions. I never fucked the same girl twice and got laid nearly every day. I never used the internet but if I went back again I surely would use it. On two occasions, girls came up to me and said that they needed help with money and I was only too happy to oblige. Tocino country will usually have a few girls that pass muster. They are happy with 1000 p LT and will probably accept 500.

Yes, I had to do a lot more pursuing and traveling to get a girl; like going to Karaokes to get phone numbers for the next day. The Trike drivers outside of the Why Not were usually able to line me up with girls when I asked. Out by the Airport just beyond the city limits are maybe three bars with takeout girls for a whopping 3000 pesos. I got phone numbers for action the next day. I found girls at the park and on the seaside promenade. Ladyboys are a very good source of info to find girls. They will pimp their friends.

Yes, the sex scene is not up front like the bacchanalia which is AC. Finally, since Duma is a college town and college students don't have a lot of money, I found it to be one of the cheapest places that I have been to in the PI. That is probably what attracts the expats. Trike rides in AC which cost 100 pesos will cost 15 pesos in Duma and the drivers are polite and helpful.

I am a loner and did not try to befriend any of the oldies but many hang out in the expat bars and they may be a valuable source of info. I never had any college girl but I would not discount the possibility. Finally, I enjoyed Duma in the spirit of exploring different venues in the PI. It is a lot of work going to a new place. However, I can assure everyone: there are plenty of girls in Duma.

What a great report, Pompetus? Did you date any girls up in Valencia? Tanks. I don't know Valenzuela is. Is that with the waterfalls? I always meant to hire a scooter and climb the hills east of Duma but was scared off by the prospect of having the cops stop me without a license. Now I would bring one from back home but it may not stave off being squeezed by the cops. I think I remember you expressing an interest in Duma several years ago. What happened: never got there? If I remember correctly you were interested in meeting a nursing student for a long term deal. I advised you to raise your sights higher and aim for a medical student. Bring her back to the USA (if that is where you are from) and when she shucks you off after getting her license to practice, you can divorce her and you will make her pay a huge settlement.

I understand nobody asked for my opinion about Dumaguete but here it is anyway.

At this stage of my life I simply cannot contemplate why anyone would want to consider living in Dumaguete (or anywhere in Negros) for an extended period of time UNLESS you had enough resources to get out to (say) Cebu, Manila, Davao (or HK, Singapore or Bkk) every month.

Between 2000 and 2008 I used to go there for work very 6 weeks or so for 3 or 4 days at a time, and I couldn't wait to catch the plane out. It is a city built primarily around a private University (called Silliman) but don't let that fool you into assuming there are lots of college girls available. There's nothing to do there, and after you have visited the one or two tourist spots, that's it.

End of opinion piece.

I've been there four times now for two or three days each time. As recent as Nov 2014. The waterfalls and hotsprings are nice. The climate is a little cooler and the scenery beautiful. Yes, an attractive nursing or medical student GF would be nice to have. As far as living there RK makes a good point that it might be boring so frequent (monthly?) trips out to Cebu etc are advisable. Ideally a nice home up in the hills with beautiful view and gorgeous GF for steady and then trips to the other islands for extra fun. I didn't have time to check out the recording studio in Duma so if anyone living there or extended visit can see if it is still there I would appreciate it. I can envision playing out at Hayahay with young Filipina musicians, too, and perhaps some guest lectures at Silliman to occupy my time meaningfully. I would never bring any foreign woman to back to my home in the USA. They are poisoned quickly by American women. Regards.

Love your contributions, but have to beg to differ on Dumaguete. True, it can be a bit boring, but OTOH, its pace can offer a nice relaxing change from Cebu or Manila.

I lived there for 18 months, met some good friends, a few interesting girls, and had a generally nice life. But, you are right, it's not for everyone.

I have the same laid-back experience when I visit my wife's province in Northern Luzon, and the slow pace is fantastic and so relaxing. . . for about 3 or 4 days when I start going up the wall.

As you know, I was referring to those guys who retire to Duma with no ready means to escape.

I am not ready yet to kick back and do nothing for weeks on end, so Dumaguete and its surrounds is not for me. I am sure we can extend that to hundreds of other places too (my wife's province included)

Please note: I am NOT trying to kick-start any firestorm about this.

Dumaguete has grown greatly in recent years. You can tell by the traffic. Gas stations pop up like mushrooms after rain. The locals mostly migrate from Mindanao. Expats respond to the favorable (and overblown) international press accounts. One sees many young tourist singles and couples. By the way, it is easy access to Cebu and Manila for specialty shopping and business matters. Because the city is virtually owned by Silliman, a liberal Protestant university, it is conservative and not a sex tourism destination. There is no staff girl take-out within the city limits. That makes it attractive to those of us who live here.

I will respond to each of the points of the well-organized posting below.

1. Girls. Very true. There are four universities, but most of the older gentlemen with young companions have brought them from elsewhere. There are young foreigner students with student girlfriends, of course. And younger tourists who get the hottest waitresses and the like who are available in public. (And they break the girls' hearts by leaving town.) I've had college students by way of the internet. But unless they come from out of town, they don't want to be seen going around with an older foreigner. Not only on account of the teasing--they can be expelled. They would not be caught dead in the Why Not. Unlike a few years ago, it's now strictly a P4 P venue. Many smaller drinking places, such as Zanzibar, have sprung up. One caution: filipinos inflate themselves on the internet. If she really is a college student, her Facebook page will have current photos of her school.

My first few months in Dgte, the bikini bars out of town on the north highway were good to me. Several hotties left off bar work to avail of my support. But P3 k, the current bar fine, is too high for this market. I tell the managers, for that I can get 3 short-time or 2 overnights, with better quality. I think they are actually discouraging take-out because of police raids. Anyway, I only like bar girls when they are fresh, their first few weeks. Sometimes I get a call about a new one. Regularly I get calls about stay-at-home girls. If you live here and are known to be available, girls will come to you. As with most places in the Philippines, there are girls everywhere, and every year a new crop of 18-year olds.

2. Who cares about other ex-pats? Unless you enjoy poker, golf, bar-hopping or griping.

3. What does he mean by saying Dgte is the safest place? Is it the only place he has not experienced violence? That sort of anecdotal testimony is worthless. Foreigners have been killed here, as by home invasion. More commonly, by traffic accident.

4. Yes, a nice and secure place to live is expensive. Some like down near the water, others up the hill in Valencia. It can be cheap living in the polluted streets of the city.

Fantasy. On the right side as you are leaving town, just past the airport runway.

9 pm, there was about 8 girls and a few more arrived over the next hour. Beer 55 php. Girls fun to play pool with, 25 php / game. I enquired re barfine / take out, was told 3000, then they adjusted it to 1500. No pressure at all by staff, the girls are fun here.

Downside was the there was only 3 girls I would classify as hot and they all said they don't do take-out. They only dance and work for drinks. That sucked. There was 4-5 ok looking, average girls of no interest to me. The rest were either really old or really ugly.

1 girl is always dancing on the stage, but they remain covered in all the appropriate places!

Blue Midnight. On the left side of the road as you are leaving town, but before the airport runway. Easy to miss.

10 pm, I saw about 8 girls total there. Very high pressure initially. 1500 for in-house, or 3000 barfine. Ridiculous pricing, I passed. Had a beer and left. Girls were all average looking, but at least no grandma's. Beer 50 php, no chit bills, you pay as they give it to you which is fine by me. The place is a little depressing.

Same - 1 girl is always dancing on the stage, but they remain covered in all the appropriate places!

Hello Gentlemen,

I enjoyed reading the reports here dated the past few weeks.

I was in duma for three days. March 2,3,and 4 -2015.

It was my 2nd time. The nicest hotel in my view was the Bethel Hotel facing the water. With the promenade - (spelling?) simple park like walk.

Very clean with wifi / flat screen cable tv just for 1200 a night. Double bed - 1000 if single bed.

Travel around town is either walking or motorbike with side car - 10 pesos.

Took the local ceres bus to daruin to go snorkeling / there is the local beach with its marine sanctuary. Fantastic corals right off the beach. Plenty of coral reef fish + occasional sea turtle. It is just as good if not better than apo island which will cost you arm and leg to out to. You do not want to stay on the island. Just make it a half day.

Trip. You will pay for a pump boat to take you there and you pay a fee to snorkel plus you will need to pay for a small banca to take you out to the best parts for.

Snorkeling.

About the posts for finding local girls. Mostly true. BRING your girl with you. Unless you can find one on line before you arrive.

I am not a bar hopping guy. So I cannot say anything to you about that.

I found duma to be mostly clean. No jeepneys. Traffic not terrible. People polite and helpful. They have the Robinson Mall for movies, the usual eating places. Pizza and burgers.

True. Lots of foreigners make the area their home.

A lot of messages here talked about the place is boring and cannot wait to get out -.

That brings us to the point of why we are in the Philippines in the first place. Why go to the PI and not stay where we are from to enjoy the babes, bars, and etc.

I have been coming to the Philippines on and off for the past 25 plus years. My main reasons to come was to find female companionship and play out some of my sexual fantasies. Such as 3 some. And enjoy younger woman ages 23 - to 35.

I'm now 71 and my sexual appetite. Has cooled some. Anyway - if you looking for fun in the sun with some hot chica babes then duma and most smaller places are not going to be for you.

Stay to Davao, CDO, Cebu, Manila. And such.

Even Bohol / panglao island. It is better to take a babe with you there. Unless again you line one up on the net.

Back to Duma. I took an aircon ceres bus to Bacolod city. Fare is 200 plus pesos - 7 hour bus ride.

You can take the ceres bus from duma to Oslob, Cebu -3 hour ride including a ferry ride. Cost 70 pesos to cross from duma to Cebu + bus is another 150 pesos.

Why Oslob. To swim with the whalesharks.

When you cross over from duma you can change bus at the small terminal and head for Moalboal. Nice beaches and plenty of resorts. - another 2 plus hour bus ride.

My point being. If you enjoy the water + snorkeling / diving. Then duma is a nice place and not expensive to return to Cebu -.

Two nice places to stay on the way back to duma or continue to Cebu city is German house / and sasha house. Clean, nice + swimming pool. All for less than 1300 pesos a night.

I plan to return to Dumaguete. For water front relaxation but mostly for the marine sanctuary. Snorkeling right from the beach. Just a 20 min bus ride - 15 pesos gets your there. Pack a lunch. Take to the beach. You may have to pay 200 or 300 pesos to use the waterfront / beachfront tables and chairs / nipa hut. Spend the dau.

If it is girls / bars / night life you are seeking then duma is not the place to go. One more point. If you fly there. Make sure you get roundtrip ticket in and out before.

Going. You may find yourself stuck there. To my knowledge there is only one flight a day from Cebu City and one a day from Manila. Double check me on that.

Wish you all great time in the PI.

Thanks D-cups. Can you remember if it was in Noblefranca St, or San Jose St? I know it was one of them.I think it was same street as Zanzibar and Hotel Nicanor. Sorry for the late response. You are probably gone by now.

It was my 2nd time. The nicest hotel in my view was the Bethel Hotel facing the water. With the promenade - (spelling?) simple park like walk.

Very clean with wifi / flat screen cable tv just for 1200 a night. Double bed - 1000 if single bed.

Hey M Bob I guess you didn't RTF before you went to Duma about the Bethel Hotel.

The Bethel is indeed a very clean, well-run hotel, well-situated and attractive but it is NOT GF. It is run by a religious group and is strict about all manner of things including no alcohol.

I assume becos you're not "active" that you didn't run the gauntlet.

I stayed there twice back in 2001 (because my company booked me there and I had no choice at the time).

I was woken on the first morning by the room janitors, maids / boys reading out loud a passage from the Bible in a prayer meeting before they started work for the day.

The 2nd time I stayed there I was again woken by the similar group singing a hymn to start the day. I thought perhaps I had died and gone to heaven but alas; I was alone in the bed.

I agree that if you don't want to use the room for anything except sleeping Bethel is an excellent choice but not if you want to be naughty.

Is this better than diving at alona? I am planning a trip there soon.

Need the find somebody worthwhile to take with me from Subic or Manila though.

Is this hotel GF?

P.Is diving better than Alona? Hmm. I don't want to compare because I don't have my pictures with me. I was in Alona this past February though. The place is GF if the girl has ID. I brought a chick from Tocino who did not have ID and they did not let her in.

Apo island is very beautiful, swimming alongside sea turtles in the wild is an experience to behold.

I will try and find a gal in Manila to bring along so I can just focus on the diving. If I don't get lucky, any GF resorts at Dauin from where I will be diving? Some place that won't mind a new tart in my arms every night?

Guys.

I searched this thread but only found a passing mention of location. Is the hotel Nicanor GF? what about Manhattan suites or La Residencia?

Thanks.

Yes Nicanor is GF. I don't know about the others. You can pay extra to put a small refrigerator in your room at Nicanor if you like.

First, a dinner date with a lady who has regular employment, but she's familiar with nightlife. An Italian restaurant on the south highway, Garcia's. My first time there. From other sources I know the staff includes slim young lovelies, hooked up with pinoys but with an occasional wandering eye for younger foreigners. American-oriented cusine--gourmet burgers, a brick pizza oven. The lasagna is too salty. A low-key band begins performing at 9.

We decide to go to the boulevard for drinks. Being Wednesday, there's a live band at the Music Box at the Why Not Cafe. At 9:30 the band has started up but it's not crowded. The front, near the entrance with the bar, pool tables and high round drinking tables, is the flirting zone. Two groups of girls at the tables, heads swivel to look at the unfamiliar foreigner. Some say that if you come with an escort, when she goes to the CR other girls will tell her, "That guy, he was here alone last night. ".

We sit along the far side of the dance floor in front of the stage. The band has 3 female singers and one guy in front, attractive in a grungy way. The promo when a band is playing is two bottles of Red Horse for P99. I know that my companion can drink them down with no ill effects, except visits to the CR. Unusual in a filipina; with others I have to regulate alcohol consumption. I get a can of something more classy. They have left off charging a cover. With all the new pocket drinking places, attendance for a couple of years was down to almost nothing.

After about an hour the band launches into disco and other dance tunes and urges the crowd, grown large, to occupy the dance floor. Groups of girls come out. They begin dancing with each other and turn to forming lines along the 3 enclosed sides with mirrors, each girl dancing with her reflection. So goes the provinces. This practice predates selfies. A couple of mature foreigners, typically dancing with two companions.

From what I can see on the dance floor and beyond, there is no girl do-able. They are not old, but they are shapeless MILFs. Well there is one, there is bound to be one who stands out as a cut above. She has a wicked smile, and aware of being the best. I have no intention of acting on my interest, I have plenty to keep me busy in my neighborhood, but my eyes follow her when she leaves the dance floor for her table in the flirting zone. She seems to be attended by a black American guy. By the time we leave the flirting zone is quite crowded, and I have not checked out the girls recently arrived. I recommended coming after 11. The best bet would be some girl come in from the countryside for the night or a few days.

These Why Not girls would compare well with Manila L. A. Cafe girls. Compared with dancers recruited to work at Burgos, EDSA and the KTVs they are physically inferior. But maybe nicer, more innocent, more into sex, and of course much cheaper.

Everynight I went in there is sucked.

Met one woman with the worse breath I ever smelled.

Thanks Chea. The place isn't my kind of thing, but one guy I know of really scored there.

On my first stay in Dumaguete I got a number through a friend. She lived in a province half way around the island. She emailed me a few pictures, but she wasn't exactly what I had in mind. However she was only 19, nice body, brown, and had a great pair of legs. Then one day in the mall I happen to meet her in person because she was there with the same friend. And sure enough, she had a gorgeous set of legs. She went all the way home but we got to texting later. I complimented her on her legs, and she was hearing it. Then I wrote that I'd like to kiss her legs. She said "And then? Well, what followed was her getting so wet and excited at the text sex that she jumped on the first morning bus clear across the island and was at my place by the time I woke up.

This girl was wild, I mean we just got into it. Several hours of shagging, licking, 69ing (ok Blow job), the works. Well, she was looking for love, and she decided she didn't want to see me again. But it wasnt long before we were texting again, and the same thing happened. She got all fired up again, and was on her way over. The next session blew away the first one. Multiple showers, multiple shags, 69's, every position I knew. This gal was just a sexual, sensual thing like I've never seen. It was the best sex I'd had since arriving in the PI, and since. And as far as I know, she'd never been with a foreigner before, which made it even better.

So of course, here I am thinkin here's this well fucked province gal, and I'm the stud that blew her mind. She called it final quits, I left Dumaguete, and that was the end of it.

Well, the next time I came through about a year later, I text her. She wasn't interested, but one afternoon I happen to run into her along the boulevard. I hit her up again but she said she's got this boyfriend. A foreigner? Yes. Where did you meet this guy? At The Why Not. So for some reason we were texting later and I asked her who was better, me or him? To save myself confusion, I stopped deleting most of my texts. So I happen to have her reply--Here it is:

"No one compared how best he was. Best in all the best. Greatest in all greatest".

Then she goes on:

"With one hour licking my pussy that makes me cums 4 times before he fucked my pussy. 4 times cums from licking 3 times in fucking. He was really good really the best. Have very perfect cock tasted so good. I even lick and suck his ass as what she did to mine".

And if that wasn't enough, she continued. I deleted my Viber app that had the text, but it was graphic. She went on about the technique she used to suck his dick. Something about flicking her tongue just under the head, and all this other shit that sounded like she probably sucked the bed sheets clear through his ass.

So there ya go. There's one good reason Why.

The Cups and I had a real shitty night there.Ya, Hi JP. Why Not is really hit and miss but mostly miss. It's better to have a DIA lined up if you go to Dumaguete. Still, I think it would be a nice place to retire and shack up with some sweet young things.

I just checked into Manhattan suites next to robinsons and the house rules say no visitors after 10 pm without registration and additional charge. I don't want to ask the lady at the reception when I have not found a gal yet and argue about it. Anyone know if this place is GF actually?

Thanks.

Thanks. If they post a sign saying additional charges, they are obviously not girl-friendly. OTOH, its easy to just register your late-arriving girl and pay the fee.

I stayed a total of maybe 5 weeks in Duma on two different occasions.

However, I can assure everyone: there are plenty of girls in Duma.Is there some one out there that can given me some directions or has a girl there that can spend some time with (emails or Phone numbers would be great) , also where is the best massage with happy ending. I am 35 so not in the mood to spend 6 weeks without a girl, also a steady GF would be OK.

After reading some things on the forum I got the feeling that it would be to boring there for me. But stuck there because of work.

So any help welcome.

It was around $125/ night I think. BTW, they have a very good eatery. Cook is a culinary art grad and I think is the GF of the owner. Maybe one of the best Filipino Cuisine.

Is there some one out there that can given me some directions or has a girl there that can spend some time with (emails or Phone numbers would be great) Welcome to the board, but with your first post asking for girls' contact info it's unlikely anyone is going to respond; at least in a positive manner, LOL. And it would do you some good to pay the 20 $ membership fee as that not only shows you support the forum, but allows you to PM.

Try working the dating sites / social media to find what you seek; plenty of advice in other threads as to the "do's and don't's" for obtaining best results. Above all be honest with the girls as to what you seek.

In addition to Pip's good tips, you can try the bars up the road that have been written about repeatedly. And there's a more upscale KTV where you can probably find a classy gal to treat.

Don't forget to try your luck with the raunch at Tocino. I was cruising down the road last time and saw a cute chick getting out of a trike so I circled back. We moved off the highway and got into a little talk about her blowing me. I wasn't thinking seriously about it, talking it over was more fun than the act would have been. I got the second worst blowjob of my life there a couple years earlier. (The worst being in Sasua). It was pathetic, half hearted, and she stopped sucking and started spitting and gagging the second I started to shoot. An absolute waste of valuable sperm. Anyway, by this time, I look down to catch the scummy mamasan trying to pick pocket me as this princess is distracting me. It's 5:00 in the afternoon, broad daylight, they're not even open yet, and there's a line of trike drivers obviously watching too. I raise a little hell and the next door mamasan waddles over in defense of the one trying to burn me. They told me I should just leave. Ah, ukie.

In almost 3 years, I've met nothing but great people in this country, that was only the second time anyone's openly tried to burn me. The other being when I was roaming a squatter village by the docks in Bacolod. Caught some guy trying to get his hand into my front pocket for the small change. I never carry much, and never a wallet. Just a rubber band wrapped around some small bills. But that's not the norm for those kind of places either, that guy was in bad shape. Probably homeless and maybe mental problems.

There's a great place you can stay right on the beach. It's nice because you don't have to be stuck at the resort, with resort prices, and you're half way into town where you're probably going to go anyway. They are deluxe, two storey, two bedroom furnished apartments. You can get them long term for around 20 k a month plus bills, or short stays with no contract, think it's about 8 k a week. PM if you want the number.
