I took the advice here and decided that I will stay in Panama City for a few nights rather than just use it as a quick flights connection during the tail end of a multi-country trip in the spring. I figure since I'm flying into Panama, I might as well take some time to check the country out. So I know the main mongering action will be at Habanos (now renamed Global Cigar), JW Marriott casino and the local oriented La Bocatorena in the older part of town.

Now I think we need an update on the hotels within walking distance of Habanos-Global Cigar that is chica friendly and especially those that do not charge unreasonable high guest fees as this seems to be always changing. So which hotels would be the current recommendations? Also have any of you used Airbnbs in the main red light area successfully to bring back girls? I also read somewhere that as another option, there might be short term love hotels very close to Habanos-Global Cigar but haven't come across their names.

If your reservation is for two to avoid the fee she must check in at the same time or very close to you. My last trip made a reservation for two when I checked in and I told them that in less than an hour the other person would be there. Other than that it's $22 a visit. AC's rooms are pretty reasonable so if they're $22 less than someone else's you're breaking even.

Went with 3 other friends and we all had to pay as well as seeing other patrons pay for visitors.

2. Uber vs Taxi. Uber is by far the easiest and cheapest way to get around, taxis are more accessible and around all the time but the gringo tax and fee no matter where you're going is $10 dollars. Same ride on uber is 3 to 4 dollars but all taxis say 10 to see what you will say. We paid when necessary cause its only 10 dollars and its their livelihood but for budgeting use Uber. Also Uber eats works for some restaurants if you get lazy.

3. Cafe Foto aka Habanos. Probably best place to go in the city for a good time and quality obviously that depends on the person. Mostly all colombian and some Vene. They all start at 200 per hour. You can def be negotiate to almost 125 to 150, but they all try to stay at same rate as they discussed it before men arrive I'm sure LOL. Cool dominican bartender and local bartenders, take care of them and tip them well and they will take care of you and prioritize and even give you discounts on bottle service. Around the corner of Cafe foto there is a 1 HR room for $25. Iyts directly around the corner across the 365 mart.

*When they ask you for cab money to go back home after they are done with you they almost all go back to habanos for another client. You've been worn! Also depending what time you get there the later it is the most likely the girls had previous dates before you and came back for more. We checked out JW casino and there were some by bar but nothing crazy when we went. Alejandros bar is ok but they come at you a bit strong like flies to shit when you walk in, the music is way too loud and its not as big as Cafe foto, but quality is nowhere near Cafe foto. La Boacarena is a local bar but quality is poor. Again I'm not judging I'm just telling you as my point of view. What you're looking for depend on the eye of the beholder so no judgement there. Dirt cheap go to La Bocarena but quality is at Cafe foto or websites but youll pay more, your choice.

There's a small security desk, actually more of a podium, where you enter the building. The front desk is upstairs (I forget which floor), but you don't have to stop on that floor on your way to your room.

Was in Panama for 8 days and had a blast here. I came with my wife and a bunch of her family for a reunion so I had to move a bit cautiously. Luckily it was easy since I'm big on casinos, so it was easy to step away and hit the "tables". I mainly hit up chicks on Wanuncios, Habanos and La Bocatorena. I was in the El Cangrejo area and I noticed throughout the day, especially at night, there was a couple of street walkers around the Waymore Casino. They charged around 60/100 HR. Only 2 were worth paying for, but I was completely drained from earlier so I passed. Let's start with Wanuncios.

I hit up 3 chicks on Wanuncios. None of them were the same chick in the photos. 2 of them were way off, the other was close. She was the best one and the only one to give BBBJ. She only charged $30 for HH. Not bad. Plus they all was walking distance to my hotel.

Next up was Habanos. As you know, the girls here are pricier, but at least you know what you're paying for. Me and a friend stopped by here around midnight and the chicks were plentiful. Most airlines forbid long lay overs in connecting flights. They want you to pay 2 separate tickets if lay over longer than 24 hours, even though it costs them nothing extra.

In Southeast Asia I would book flights with 27 to 30-hour layover in Changi airport Singapore. That gives me more than enough time to take Grab rides to Chinatown for food, Geylang lorongs for multiple sessions with hot girls from all over Asia, a little sight seeing, then back to Changi to board connecting flights. It's a quick and cheap way to visit Singapore for good food and good sex without wasting precious time, paying extra in airfares and expensive hotels.

México, a lot of the pipes are clay or similar, are too close to the surface, get punctured, and contamination enters. I don't know the specifics of why Guatemala's water isn't potable. So when I lived in México and Guatemala, did I buy bottled water and selfishly harm the planet? No, I did not. I used a filter, or iodine tablets, or I simply boiled water if I was in an apartment. People who are worrying about the water should be worrying much, much more about the food (much of which is rinsed with. Wait for it. Water).

After my visit to Colombia (where I mongered) and Peru (where I didn't monger), I spent two nights in Panama City on my way back home. I kind of knew in advance that Panama would not be a cheap place for both mongering nor touristy stuff but checked out the scene anyway. First the airport was a bit confusing with its two terminals. I landed at terminal 1 and had planned to store my checked luggage at terminal 2 where a new Metro system was. It was a shuttle ride to terminal 2 and when I got there, I was told that the only luggage storage was back in terminal 1 which I did not feel like going back to. Shame because the new Metro costs less than $1 to get from the airport to the downtown area I booked my Airbnb at. So instead of taking a rip off airport taxi, I did manage to order an Uber which cost me about $17 US.

I booked an Airbnb in the same area where the main mongering action is which is an open air bar called Cafe Foto, formerly known as Habano's and Global Cigars. I timed the walk and it was only three minutes on foot. The Metro station as well as convenience stores were also easy walks within 5 minutes.

Now for the action. I went over to another bar called Alejandro's about 7 minutes walk from my Airbnb and was really small with only several girls so I did not stay. When I got to Cafe Foto, it was about 10 pm and already hopping with both monger dudes and working chicas. The girls were all dressed really well for the night out. Most were Colombians with some from Venezuela. Girls were either walking around the bar or standing in lineups in some of the aisles in the bar floor. Most will not approach you but a few did. They would quote $200 US when asked but both girls I pulled quickly accepted $150 US with one asking for me to buy her a beer first.

I had asked in advance if they were willing to walk the three minutes to my room and both said yes although the first one got a bit upset as she probably underestimated how hard it would be with her stiletto high heels. My other girl had flats so the walk was not an issue for her. The girl on the first night was all business and no GFE, no kissing and CBJ. She quickly ended the session when she thought that I had finished. When we went downstairs (I was on the 7th floor), she actually called for a taxi to get back to the bar. My second girl on night 2 was much better with GFE (but still CBJ so their standards of GFE is different from that in Toronto) with lots of kissing and no clock watching.

Initially I thought the $150 US rate which is higher than in Colombia, is a bit high even for Toronto standards but then I realized that these were for hour long sessions instead of the usual 30 minutes that I do back home. Also, even though I found Cafe Foto a bit loud with the music playing and $8 for a cranberry juice was high, I really appreciated the opportunity to see the girls in real life and interact with them with conversations before I pulled them. This is impossible in Toronto with its mainly website booking with photos that could be Photoshopped or faked. Just hanging out at Cafe Foto with all the girls there looking great even though they came in all shapes and sizes, was fun and made the bar a real happy place for guys.

La Bocatorena.

During the one full day I had in Panama City, I visited the Panama Canal as well as the old historic city area known as Casco Viejo which was also close to the fish market where I had really good cerviche. Also in the area is a daytime brothel bar called La Bocatorena which I wanted to check out because it is reported to be really cheap at $15 US for 12 minutes session. Yup you read that right, $15! I know there's a separate section just on La Bocatorena but I think it's worthwhile to include my observations of the place along side of the rest of my Panama City tour since all should be taken into account for an overall visit. Now I did not expect much for that rate and I was prepared to go in and walk right out again based on what I saw. But when I got inside, there were several girls there at about noon on a Saturday with just a few guys. I saw some fatties but also spotted this one slim attractive chica and I'm sure she saw me noticing her because after I went past her, she followed me and we had a quick chat before I made the jump to take her to one of the onsite rooms.

The deal is that you pay a guy at a booth and the girl gets $10 while the brothel keep $5 and hands the girl a condom. I had my own anyway but I did give them a $20 US bill but did not get any change back. But for that rate I did not care much. Once inside a room, it was a cheap bed, a toilet and a sink with a garden hose attached. We quickly used the garden hose to rinse our private parts and use toilet paper to dry off as there were no towels there. This was real cheapie stuff. But surprisingly, I got a great GFE (but again with CBJ) session with her and actually finished within my 12 minutes time.

This turned out to be a real cheap but satisfying session that exceeded my expectations for such a place. It would have been interesting to ask the girl how much she would charge to bring her back at my Airbnb later but I didn't get the chance. I'm just surprised on how there could be two completely different venues with such big differences in rates between La Bocatorena and Cafe Foto. And I would say that I like the girl at Bocatorena at $20, also a Colombian, way more than the first girl I pulled at Cafe Foto whom I paid $150.

Conclusions.

Panama City exceeded my expectations. It was not as good as Medellin where I just visited days before coming to Panama City but this place in my opinion is still better than Toronto or Montreal for that matter. The opportunity to prescreen the girls in person both on their physical looks and personalities makes mongering so much better than the sometimes crapshoot we have to deal with in Toronto. It's just more fun mongering in Latin America even if one should learn some Spanish first.

You do have ocean casino right down stairs and that is a fantastic place to pick a friend for the night. I have never been disappointed when going there and meeting a chick. Always at least 20 to choose from. At JW I hate the $100 "guest" fee that I was charged when coming back with a chick. If you bring them earlier in the day when it is busy then they can't tell but at night when it is much less traffic they will stop you.

This last visit I decided to stay at W hotel and really liked it. Nice modern hotel with a younger crowd and there was no fee to bring chicks back to the room however on one night someone stopped us so she could provide ID and check in but there was no fee associated with that. This hotel is walking distance to habanos, Alejandro, & LE palace. I must say LE palace feels a little scammy. I had several taxi cab drivers beg me to get in so they can drive to me LE palace for no charge because they get paid to bring people there. The also was shitting on Habanos saying the girls aren't clean. Blah blah blah. I walked in LE palace and they had nice chicks but I read reviews of them ahead of time and decided to leave. There's no signage outside but there's a bouncer and people going in and out, also the location on google maps is accurate.
