When I first started in the hobby (early 90's) I was straight out of college and finding a career, so I couldn't take long vacations or have the funds to fuel my addictions. Today I walked to the 7/11 on McCarther at the Mc Donalds end of walking street to use the ATM (which was out of money another problem here the ATMs are out of money or not working) and there was a half dozen Pudgy Fat Porky overweight fat Korean guys with bar fines that were 8's and 9's waiting for a ride. No white guy No black guy and No Indian guy was there with a girl. In the Korean bars the girl does not have a choice if a Korean guy wants to bar fine her, she has to go with him. All Korean bars are to be avoided if you are white black or Indian don't spend money where you can't bar fine.

Just got back from a quick 5-day run in Angeles. Stayed at Central Park Tower again. Place is still great, and I paid cash upfront to lock in the discount.
Hit Red Street right after checking in and grabbing a shower. Walked the whole strip, peeked into bars, and only went in if I saw someone that I liked. Found a girl from Sky Fall (gogo) who was decent. Rates were 5 k LT or 4 k ST.
Next day was Club Sky. Good spot as always, mostly because my friend owns it. Picked up a couple of girls there. Day three was Vikings. Solid as usual. (The other days I just repeat. Stick head in and find someone I like and take them).
When I wasn't out with ladies, I was eating at SM or just ordering Grab. Bars are pretty dead during the day, but a few are open and you can still find ladies. Prices range from 4 k to 6 k depending on the bar and how you talk your way through it & the tier of ladies. If you act like a newbie you will be paying more for sure. (my 7th time to ac).

The time is now 5:24 pm have been sitting next to sky falls and across from Viking since 4:38 99% of the guys passing are Korean old pudgy fat overweight. In less than an hour have counted 26 old fat pudgy Korean pigs guys pass by with very nice-looking girls. Two white guys passed by with girls one appeared to be in her late 20's and the other looked like a bulldog. No black guys or Indian guys have passed by with girls.

Korean Bars:
Angeles City Bar scene is For Koreans Only 90% of the guys on walking street are Korean the majority of the bars are Korean owned and operated and run for Koreans. For non-Koreans write Korean bars off. Korean bars are to be avoided at all cost and you should never spend a single peso in a Korean bar. Korean bars are for Koreans, and the best-looking girls will not go with non-Koreans you will be left with the second- and third-rate girls. Once again Korean bars are to be avoided at all cost never spend a single peso in a Koran bar. Don't spend money where you can't bar fine the girl you want.
Non-Korean Bars:
Here sad to say the talent is generally not that good generally older women you will occasionally find a fairly attractive girl, but she will be in her early to mid 20's and generally started out in the Korean bars and was a Korean only girl when she started but once she started to age out, they didn't want her anymore, so she went to the non-Korean bars.
Freelancers:
Almost non-existent, few and far between. A few bottom of the barrel women found around Phillies but for the most part freelancers are pretty much gone.
Short Time Bars:
This is a thing of the past there is only one on A Santos street and the talent level is very low. One on Raymond Street and the talent level is very low. Forget about short time bars they basically don't exist anymore.
Perimeter Road Bar:
Talent level is generally very low quality is generally not that good.
The Back Streets:
Back street area around One Euphoria. Here the talent level is very low mostly older sub five looking women.
Networking:
Here is where non-Koreans need to focus. The bar scene in Angeles City is now almost completely for Koreans only and non-Koreans should avoid the bar scene especially the Korean bars. Find one or two good girls and then network onto their friends. Most will be in the 6 to 7 looks and will go for 2 k to 3 k depending upon the girl. This is much cheaper half or less than half a bar fine. Many but not all will be ex bar girls and all of them have friends. Unfortunately, many of these girls will also go with Korean Pigs so they too have been contaminated.
Hand over fist play in all mentioned above, except Japan, depends on where you will be. And you should expect shit tons of play in China.And that is my problem. Other than Bangkok and Philippines, I'm at a loss. I have no clue for China and, for Japan, just a vague idea.

F.To keep this relevant to AC, while that is a regular scam elsewhere you don't see it very much at all in the Philippines. Girls ordering lavish drinks or especially meals is more about ego and showing off rather than kickbacks and commissions. The easy way to keep things under control is to ask what she wants and then you place the order.
The one exception is lady drinks in gogos. You do have to be careful and monitor the number of drinks and who drinks are being ordered for. Again, if you don't let it be known that you are the one ordering, she can order many drinks for herself, her friends or staff.

F.Time really is an asset in mongerring. For any new arrival its always the sharks who are the first to smell fresh chum in the water. In places like AC, Cebu etc, unless you have been before, it can take a while to move past these.
If in town for only a day or so, best to go to the recognised areas. Sure, you're going to pay more but there won't be any surprises, great or disastrous. Burgos jumps to mind for this.
Expanding visits from days to weeks or even months isn't always possible but it really has advantages.

That's why I ask for help to improve onthose places.
I must admit, I will only spend one night in Shanghai (arriving at 5 pm and leaving at 9 am. That's how my ticket was purchased). Then, in Shenzen only one night too. Trying to make a day trip to Hong Kong and leave at night to Guangzhou (in case I get the two entry visa for China). Two nights in Guangzhou and then, Bangkok and Pattaya.
For Japan, one night in Fukuoka, then up to Osaka, and do not have an established plan. I will buy the JR pass as it will be cheaper than paying the regular train fare for the what I have. in mind. May go to Nagoya, Sendai, even Sapporo and Tokyo. (Crazy, isn't it?
Still, no clue about China.
F.Have been to Japan many times. Sapporo and Fukuoka are both better for P4P than Tokyo. Sapporo in the summer is the best, hit the outdoor beer gardens. There is a good Soapland for foreigners there in Susukino. If I remember correctly its called Happiness Place. I had a good time in Fukuoka a couple of years ago at the Nakasu red light district. I looked online for soaplands catering to foreigners even Chinese and Korean. Found a place called the Cotton club. Great time with mid-30 hot MILF, bath, massage, GFE, BBBJ and even bbfscip. They charged me extra as a white man but still a great time for 33000 yen. Check my past posts for my description of both my Sapporo and Fukuoka visits. Also, post to the Tokyo forum for advice. A guy named Rick Rock is the local SME and can help you. Have been to Osaka and Sendai multiple times but not mongered. Both are nice places with good food. A lot of Taiwanese staying at the hotel they were coming in and out all day with some very attractive bar girls. Not sure what bars they were getting them from. But all of us white guys were sitting there, and all agreed those girls would not have gone with us. Tuesday seemed kind of slow on walking street. I believe many of the bar girls had the day off. Seen a few fairly attractive bar girls walking into Viking for second shift and within an hour or less seen most of them come back out with Korean customers. Did not see a single whit black or Indian guy leave any of the bars with girls only Koreans / Asians were leaving the bars with girls. While I was sitting there one of the waitress's managers whatever she is from sky fall who is always trying to get me to go in tried again to get me to go in. I've told her before I don't like that bar the girls there don't go with white guys, but she convinced me to go in. The lineup was not that good she pointed out a few girls who she said wanted to go with me but all of them looked average to below average. A couple looked ok not super-hot but ok I asked their age one said she had men which really means she does not go with white guys. Another seemed timid but I thought she was cuter. The waitress pointed out another girl who she said wanted to go with me, but I didn't find her that attractive. Called the timid girl over for a drink conversation was not easy as she did not seem to want to be there. When she got close, I could see she was a dark complected exotic model looking girl super-hot 18 years old agreed to long time or short time whatever I wanted. I chose short time which was 5 K not sure that was the actual price, or they were padding the price. One of the momosons that I know there used to work at viking and she told me the bar fine at viking is 6 k. Paid the bar fine and for the drinks, bought the momosons I know a drink and we left. The girl said she had only been there for five days had three bar fines and that she does not like Koreans and had turned them all down. The collapse of a nine-storey construction site in Angeles City, Pampanga has forced a newly opened hotel nearby to shut down indefinitely after sustaining damage just one month into operations.
Walkins Hotel, located beside the construction site, was partially damaged when the structure collapsed in the early hours of May 24. One of the rooms affected was occupied by a Malaysian national—65-year-old XXX —who was killed in the collapse.
Hotel owner Grace Lego told Rappler that she and her family were awakened by the crash, initially mistaking it for an earthquake. Guests were able to evacuate immediately, but several parked vehicles were crushed by falling debris.
The hotel has announced a temporary suspension of operations while local authorities continue to inspect the site and assess structural safety. Walkins Hotel had only opened in April, catering in part to visitors attending the Aurora Music Festival held in Clark earlier this month.
Nearby businesses along Teodoro Street, an emerging tourism and entertainment strip, have also temporarily closed amid safety concerns and ongoing clearing operations in the area.
The collapsed structure was a nine-storey construction site for a proposed hotel that gave way at around 3 am On May 24, trapping at least 46 people, mostly workers. As of latest reports, 26 have been rescued, at least four have died, and 16 remain missing.

Been here for 20 days so far have been coming here yearly (except for the pandemic years) since 2012. I am staying right in the heart of walking street and see the action every day and night, 90% of the guys here are Korean or Asian. Around five every day the street is clogged with Koreans going into the bars and taking out the best-looking girls. Today Saturday is a typical day and seen about a dozen Koreans leaving the bars with very attractive girls. Seen very few white guys and even fewer black guys or Indian guys and NONE had any girls with them or left the bars with girls. In the 20 days I have been here seen one or two at most three white guys taking what I would call attractive women. Seen one black guy in 20 days with a semi attractive girl seen no Indians with any girls I would call attractive. Every day I see dozens of Koreans with attractive girls from the bars. In the 20 days I have been here so far, I have seen NO white guy black guy or Indian guy leave sky fall bar with a girl. I am here every day and night and this is what my Eyes are seeing.

Chris Long puts over a dozen Koreans in intensive care in a fist fight on walking street LOL. Seriously an apparent drunk European guy judging by his accent and the way he acted appeared to be drunk. From what I was told he started insulting and causing trouble with the Madona girls standing in front. The bouncer apparently tried to get the guy to move along when he got physical with the bouncer, BIG MISTAKE, I seen all the bouncers running from Viking Bar Nana and others to the front of Madona and whaling on this guy. There was a black guy who apparently initially tried to get physical with the bouncers as well but then ran away. I seen several of the bouncers chasing after him the other bouncers were whaling on the white guy a big crowd developed. The white guy bleeding and beaten but still kept insulting people. There was a slight tussle with the Active when they arrived, but they eventually got the guy to walk away apparently to station four. The guy was drunk and an idiot. Never start a fight with a bouncer on walking street because you will be fighting EVERY bouncer on walking street. Never start a fight with a Filipino because you will be fighting every Filipino.

Although I had said goodbye to Angeles city for good nearly a year ago after working and partying here for almost 30 years I was back for a forced 5 day business trip, here's what I found and what had changed along walking street (red street).
The road had been completed, some extra lighting hung along the street, first thing that hit me is where have all the punters and girls gone, very quiet indeed especially for westerners.
Wanted to meet up with old expat western friends and my old Korean friends but there is a but, western friend refuse to go to the Korean owned / run bars (which are the majority of bars) because they simply cannot get any girl attention there, mostly blanked by any of the girls, why, because they are Korean only girls, as in the girls will only sit, drink, smile at Koreans its as simple as that, and Korean friends refuse to go to the western bars because of the very low quality of most all girls there, so met up with western friends on first night and hit the very few left western bars, they included the following.
Geckos bar, masquerade bar, champagne bar, shooters bar, lollipop bar, very low numbers of girls, many girls older, fatter and just very plain in looks, bought only two lady drinks between our group all night in these bars as did not see many girls worth buying one for, even the girls friends bought drinks for were because they knew them not to want to barfine, when guys say one has to bar hop all the western bars to maybe find at best an average looker they are just not kidding, girl standards were poor, very poor but if one is a westerner then they have little choice in where one will get any girl attention and the possibility of a barfine.
Korean bars, although non of the girls I saw in the Korean bars visited were stunners by any stretch of the imagination they were far far better than what can be found in the western bars, girls tend to be far younger, far slimmer, taller, lighter skin, better presented and better dressed, all Korean bars visited had at least one or two girls that were at least nice enough to buy drinks for but by far the highest number of better looking girls was in XS bar, good dance shows, cold beer, (coldest of all bars visited on both bar hops) saw zero westerners in any of the Korean bars visited except for me, wanted to visit madonna bar (old favourite bar) but sadly it was closed when we went there, all in all enjoyed the Korean bars much more than the western bars, lets not forget though I was seated with Koreans so our table had no problems getting girls attention, plenty of smiles and multiple girls wanting to sit and drink, of course if one is not asian or with a group of Asians fully expect to get totally ignored by the girls.
In summing up, have to fully agree with those that say they see plenty of Koreans with fairly attractive girls on their arm heading home but no westerners be they white or black with girls on their arm, most westerners heading home alone, the very few westrrners that had women on their arm one had to wonder how many drinks it took to stoop so low, not trying to be nasty, just telling it as it was, another observation was that freelancers on the street were non existent, saw only two ladyboys in a side street hustling for custom.
Stories and claims of westerners hitting up the Korean bars and having any luck in barfining the girls working there are just fantasy at best.

Just general info, that might be useful to anyone else traveling to Angeles City or Subic Bay.
If you're arriving from Thailand to Clark International Airport, Cebu Pacific is the only direct flight you'll be arriving at 2 am.
* Be aware it might be difficult to get a Grab Taxi. Taxi fare from airport to center of Angeles City should be around 260 Pesos.
E-Visa / Philippine Travel Information System for Visa / Arrival Card. Pretty clear-cut and easy to complete.

Lowest I got was 60.50 at the airport (5 June 2026) and Red Street Money Exchanges averaged 61.00-61.50 during my stay.
* Day after my black-out I needed Pesos (Bank Card at Daily Limit) and it's was early in the morning, Money Exchange Booth in the middle of Red Street sign showed 61.20 and the lady tried to rip me off by saying it's a different rate of 60.00. Just smiled and waiting for another money exchange booth to open.
ATMs. Never found a 20 k transaction limit ATM and just settled on using the EuroATM next to Kokomos at 10 k per transaction. 300 Peso Service Fee per transaction, if I remember correctly.
Note: ATM inside the Central Park Tower didn't accept my US bank card or my US Mastercard.
Safety Note: Sidewalks outside of Red Street are dangerous, especially after you've had a few drinks. Uneven, holes, and cracks.
Beggers. Always encountered the same 3 begger ladies w / child in tow around Central Park Tower / Tequila Reef / Philly's. I normally give them 50-100 Pesos, I was ok with that as doubt money would be used for drugs or alcohol. I could be wrong, if I am let me know!

* Don't expect buses to be parked under the correct signage, I almost missed the bus while sitting under the Olongapo sign while my bus was parked 2 stalls down.
18 Pesos Blue Jeepney from Olongapo to Subic City.
* I actually took a taxi at 400 Pesos, Olongapo Bus Station to Central Park Reef. I was fricking hot and I wasn't about to ride in the back of a jeepney.
* Funny, next day wanted to visit the Freeport (Texas Joe's for Ribs), so took a jeepney and only got charged 16 Pesos. 20% discount for being a senior citizen. +1 for honest jeepney driver.
Reverse process for returning o Angeles City from Olongapo.
If you don't feel like riding the bus, a few bars will have signs (toilets) posted for 1000 Pesos van transportation to Subic City / Olongapo.
Note: Bus has a weird payment process. Once on the road conductor will walk around asking where you're going and print you out a ticket, then a few minutes later he'll walk around collecting the fee.

Visited Mega Dance at 12 am. Place was basically empty except for employees. Info'd later that it's best to hit it after 2 am with 3 am being the best time.

Was not impressed with the freelancers hanging just off Red Street. Did see 1 or 2 doable one's hanging out around Philly's, though felt there were more ladyboys than ladies.

As a summary, if you visit nowadays AC, stay in a comfortable hotel, go out for little drinking but daily mongering action, perhaps sometimes enjoy a three-some, be prepared to have a daily budget of minimum 200 $. With excessive bar visits or a prime hotel you easy will hit 300 $ a day.
While I happily describe myself as a Cheap Charlie, the girls don't seem to mind. Maybe they give me frequent flier discounts? Who knows but they all seem to be happy to come back and I've definitely noticed an uptick in girls looks and general fuckability index over the last couple of trips.Enjoy. G.Ditto G,
While I appreciate the bar scene is a great, easy approach for newcomers or first-timers, after a while they'll discover there are significant other options out there. And at much better rates for better quality sessions.
A good quality list of FL contacts can be saved so you don't have to go on the hunt as soon as you arrive on your next visit.
Rewarding the girls directly has always worked well for both parties in my experience. And the last 'mall rat' I hooked up with fairly recently in Cebu, was in the top 3 of all the girls I've nailed in The Phils since my first visit back in the early nineties.

I have been informed the Genesis Bus from T3 to SM mall on to Clark airport has been moved to Bay 21. Bay 21 is the new Bay number.
The actual location is the same as before. They just re number the same bay. Don't ask why?
Also they are using a sister company Joy Bus for the same route.
Don't get confused over Bay 21 and seeing a blue Joy Bus.
BTW, I don't know if you can drink a beer on the bus or not. But the litte convience store in the adjacent median sells bottled beer! Next to it are CR's.
