I'll be visiting Pattaya next week, hoping to meet a few girls. Any advice on where to stay for (hoping for the lower end $30-40/ night if possible)?
I went back a few pages on this forum and from what I could tell, being close to Soi 6 is a good bet.
A couple of questions:
- Are most hotels girl friendly in the area?
- When booking the room, do I select Single or for two adults? (Hoping to have LT a night or two).

There are almost 5000 posts in that thread, so all the info you need is over there, and you can ask for hotel recommendations over there too.
Are most hotels girls friendly? Yes. Should you book for two adults? I have often not done that and never ran into any problems. Logically, I think you really need to book for two adults if you expect to have breakfast with your lady friend. Otherwise, no need. Safest practise is to book for two though.
As for which hotels to book, I think location is the key. And that depends on what you are interested in. If you will be a soi 6 kind of guy, you want something nearby. Likewise with Walking Street or soi Buakhao, etc. And of course, what is your budget?
So I would recommend including this info in a post in the Pattaya Hotels thread and see what pops up.

However, you do not need to stay near Soi 6 because the Baht bus (10 baht each way) is so cheap. You can rent an Airbnb at The Base Condo for about $40 USD. There are a number of hotels near The Base Condos on 2nd road and Soi Honey that will probably fit your budget.
One of my massage chicks yesterday commented to me that there is no high season in Pattaya anymore. Kind of an exaggeration I think but she seems to be lamenting the lack of business. Certainly at the guesthouse that I am staying in it used to be full in Dec-Jan, but nowadays is only half full.Well tell her maybe if they raise the prices once again they'll get more customers. 555.

There are also a couple of love hotels. A major one is Love Inn on Soi Bongkot just down from the famous row of gentlemen's clubs there. Google maps is your friend.

A place like Honey 2 on 2nd Road is easy to get to. It had a large variety of ladies in the fishbowl last time I went. If you want something a little crazier take 2 upstairs.

It makes all the difference in the world when it comes to recommending something to you. And if you had read a little further down you would have seen that you can get hotels for as low as 400 baht per day, which would be even cheaper than a love motel.

The saddest part of it all is that when a farm fresh girl rolls into Pattaya at age 19, it only takes a few weeks because she starts getting ruined by packing on the weights, getting pierced, getting tattooed, braiding in multi-colored weave hair, smoking, doing drugs and becoming an alcoholic. Reached Pattaya on early hours of Sunday. This is my third trip to Pattaya.
This time, decided to stay right in the middle of walking street. P. 72 Hotel, their deluxe studio rooms are good, did not feel any noise so far in last 2 nights.
Day-1: was catching up with rest and re-establishing Line connections with the girls that I knew from last trip. Hit Soi6 in the evening and had an opening session for this trip (forgot the club name but girl was a looker, spinner, aged 23, Nit was the name. She gave her number and I will see if I can go back. While returning to hotel, saw a cutie, getting down from the motorbike and walking towards a food stall. Approached her and asked if she is available. Yes was the answer and she quoted the normal ST rate. Took her to the hotel, had good time for next hour with her. Around midnight, browsed through Indian clubs, Insomnia Indian clubs. They are fully packed. Maybe because, this is the "season" and I could feel it with the heavy crowd around, compared to my trip from last October.
Day-2: Not much to do during day time, I am not much into site seeing and nothing new around the beach either. In the evening around 8 pm, went to SugarBaby agogo, was stopped by the doorman. Asked to pay 200 for the first drink (because I am an Indian). Well, I was their daily customer in last two trips, spent a lot of money, some of their girls really like me. I decided to explain him in a calm manner that I have been here before. Not much positive response. While this conversation is happening, the girl that I bar-fined multiple times in the past, found me while entering the club and she tried to reason with the doorman. This did not work either. I was about to move on but mentioned to him that I will talk to Al, their manager. He immediately allowed me in.
Al was there in the club and gave a warm handshake. He explained that they had very bad experiences in the last few months with Indian groups walking-in and not buying any drinks and yet grabbing the girls as they pleased. That's why he was forced to make this rule. I have to admit that I am more than pissed with some of my fellow country men, because of whom, I am profiled as one of them!! Anyway, I am a thick-skinned person and on a holiday to enjoy. I won't allow this to bother me. Had few drinks, bought multiple lady-drinks and bar-fined the same girl for ST. We had a nice time together and this time, she wanted to drink in the room with me. Had Whiskey purchased from the duty-free and we enjoyed it together.
In retrospect and from all I have been reading in this forum, gogo bars are absolutely not worth the money and this type of treatment doesn't give any incentives for me to visit them either. I will try to stay away from gogo bars as much I can and explore other options.
Day-3: Not much action. Feeling mentally tired. Got a foot massage and another girl offered oil massage and I accepted for another hour. During the massage, she pop'ed the question that I did not expect. Do you need a special massage? This shop looked very legitimate to me. Anyway, she is cute and I agreed to proceed further which was a good decision. She is ready to meet me after work but I told her that I am tired, will try her tomorrow.

So, we get to taste the aftermath of the bitter-taste left by others looking similar to us. I wish they learn how to profile customers in a better manner other than color, but hey, that ain't happening anytime soon unless my country fellows learn the etiquette over night.
Once the bar folks / girls realize that a customer is spending and enjoying in the usual manner, treatment is just about same as others. So, I can't really blame them either. Its just the situation and I have learned to deal with it.

It used to be my goto hotel, perfect location, totally girl friendly. Not sure why, but I moved on. My favorite hotel became The Stay on soi 10, but on this last trip I stayed at LK Empress and I liked it. Not sure when and if I will come back.
When I used to stay there, 5+ years ago, there was absolutely no issues with bringing girls. So convenient, right across from Lucifer. You go down, pick up a girl and take her upstairs, just like. Never had a problem with noise, except when they had a band downstairs. It kept me up until midnight. It was a problem for my first few nights upon arriving, and then no issue after that.
If your deluxe studio is across the street, you don't even need to check the girls at the desk. They also have a decent restaurant.

I have couple of days left in this trip, planning to explore more of Soi6, FLs. I am also a fan of Shisha here. Will spend time in Discos for that.

This is my first time to Pattaya and will be staying in Thailand for about 30 days spending time in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket.
Visa: Travelling under a British Passport, a VISA exemption applies. Just had to fill in an embarkation card which was handed out on the plane (name, DOB, Passport Number, length of stay, address in Thailand etc). Once off the plane, collecting baggage, went through Passport Control and simply handed in card. Process very simple.
Money: Exchanged about 1/3rd of money at the airport. On the arrival floor, exchange rates not good. Typical exchange 37.5 to 38 baht for 1 GBPound Sterling. Do not exchange there. At the lowest floor, there are trains to Bangkok. On this floor there are also many exchange bureaus with typical rates of 40.5 to 40.7 baht for 1 GBPound Sterling with no fees, charges or commissions. So I changed here. Rates typically about 7% to 8% better than on the arrival hall. When I got to Pattaya, I saw similar rates. The best rate I have so far seen is 40.8 baht for 1 GBPound Sterling. So only a little better than at the airport.
Bus to Pattaya. I got the bus which costs 120 baht. But although the bus runs several times an hour, I had to wait 2 hours for the bus with my seat. Can book on line in advance but I did not do this since I did not know whether the flight would be delayed, nor how long it would take to enter through passport control and collect baggage. Next time, I would buy a ticket in advance so that I would not have to wait as long. Still on the plus side, it gave an opportunity to people watch. Many nice stewardesses with lovely figures and nice legs. If I was younger and staying in Bangkok, with the cavalier of youth, I would have tried my luck at chatting some of these up. With age comes wisdom, so I new that there was no point in trying and getting the humiliation of rejection. On the bus I sat next to a very nice Russian lady about 30 but she was travelling with her son, and I think mother. Still she had a nice pair of legs, was wearing a very short dress, and had very nice blue eyes.
Crystal Club AGOGO LK metro. This has some rooms. I paid about Euro 47 for 3 nights, so about 15 euro per night. The room is very clean, has a large bed and is quite large about 30 sqm plus. Get a 10% discount on drinks in the Club. Get to see the girls off stage getting dressed changing etc so that is a bit of a perk. Only had a quick look inside several girls dancing, one or two topless.
Beach road. I got there about 8 pm. Many many girls with quality very variable. However there were some thin good looking girls. I walked up and down several times identifying the hot ones. At about 9 pm, I made my move, but all the girls were only interested in ST, and did not do LT. They all quoted 1000 baht. I wanted long time, so did not go with these. After about 9 pm there was some police activity, and a lot of girls disappeared. I saw this stunning girl very slim, reasonably tall wearing black slit / ripped jeans. She had lovely legs but was on the phone. I waited for her call to finish, but she immediately walked off. I followed and she met up with 2 other girls. I waited a short distance away, One of the other girls smiled at me whilst the 3 were chatting. Then unfortunately, the girl I liked quickly hurried off, and the girl who had smiled at me came over to chat. She was friendly, but a bit chubby but with large tits, and said I really like you, LT 1000 baht sucking fucking massage more sucking fucking etc. Because she was a bit chubby for my liking, I started chatting to the other girl who was shortish and a little over weight but not chubby. She explained that the hot girl with the stunning legs, had left because she had a customer who had phoned her up. Whilst we were chatting the chubby girl found a customer and left. She wanted 2,000 baht for LT which I thought was rather a lot since her friend had offered 1000 fir LT. I suggested 1700 baht and she said why not 2000 baht, it only 300 baht more. I said that I would probably buy her something to eat and she agreed at 1700 baht.
Ann: we chatted on the bed for about 20 minutes, before she took a shower. Her English was quite good, but with the Thai accent it was still difficult to fully understand. I had a shower after her, and then we started with about 20 minutes of very passionate kissing whilst I fingered her pussy, We then had a long session of DATY which she very much enjoyed before having sex in a couple of positions. She tasted very clean. I got cramp in my calf which I thought was down to a lack of water or salt. I hadn't experienced this before, quite painful but soldiered on. Well you have to, don't you!

On the way back to the hotel we picked up lots of bottles of Breezer. We watched a bit of TV, listened to music and then went for round 2. This was much the same as round 1 and again I got cramp.
We woke up quite latest about 10 am. I had been tired having had only about 5 hours sleep in the past 48 hours. She was initially reluctant to have sex and wanted to go, but I persuaded her to stay and we had a long session lasting about 1.5 hours of enjoyable sex (well at least for me). This time I did not get cramp so perhaps all I needed was a good night's sleep.
SIM card. We then went out and did some shopping. I bought a Thai SIM card that she recommended, with the provider AIS. We bought this in the family mart for 50 baht and loaded it with 300 baht of credit. She thought that I would get unlimited calls, 1 GB fast internet for 7 days which would cost 100 baht, so with the 300 baht loaded, this would supply 1 gb of data 3 times over for 21 days. However, the offer had expired the day before, and it was extremely difficult to get the internet working. Eventually went into Central Festival Mart where AIS has a shop. There was a long wait of about 50 minutes for customer service but eventually they set up a plan of fast internet for 10 days with 5 gb of data unlimited calls for 175 baht. After the 10 days I would still have about 120 baht of credit so needed to just top up a little for another 10 days of the same deal. I do not know whether this is a good deal, but Ann thought that AIS was the best with reliable service.
We then went shopping in a covered market where I bought some sandals. These were 450 baht but I only paid 300 baht. She says she always gets a discount at the market, but I do not know whether that is because she knows the people or whether she just bargains. Perhaps there is a price for Thais and a price for Ferang. She said that if I wanted to go shopping again she would take me to get the best price.
Summary: To sum up, I was with Ann from about 10 pm to about 2 pm, and spent a nice time with a very friendly and sweet girl, not just the sex. Because her English was quite good, we were able to have a chat, enjoy a meal together, stroll along the beach etc. So whilst I paid more than I wanted to for LT, overall, the experience was good and well worth the money, and I am hoping that she will introduce me to the slim leggy girl with the tight slit / cut jeans who appeared very doable. Beach road girls might not be the prettiest, but on the basis of my first experience, they are not wham bang thank you mam girls, and may well be a lot more friendly than the Gogo girls. I guess it is what you are after. Do you want the youngest stunner, or a good honest girl that you can spend some time with, as well as having some sex on the side. Whilst I am going to check out the talent elsewhere (who knows perhaps where I am staying at Crystal Club), I am certainly going to further explore the delights of Beach Road.
Finally, on the basis of my short experience, it is best to get to beach road before 9 pm if you want the best looking girls. After that, the quality on offer goes down. It may be different on different days.
I am now off to the beach for a swim, and I am hoping that day 2 will be just as enjoyable.

During my last visit towards the end of 2017 I paid 1000 all inclusive for average lookers and 1,300 all inclusive for the better looking ones. I did not bother to bargain but looks like the good looking ones are asking 1. 5 k now which seems higher than what everyone else here is paying apparently. Who knows what factors in to their pricing.

Nice report Sandman! You seemed to have had an old fashioned GFE with a Thai girl in Pattaya! You got quite a bargain for just 1,700. The girl deserved a nice big tip for all the extras she provided you. Don't expect the same service from the girl you are now lusting after.

Crystal Club AGOGO LK metro. This has some rooms. I paid about Euro 47 for 3 nights, so about 15 euro per night. The room is very clean, has a large bed and is quite large about 30 sqm plus. Get a 10% discount on drinks in the Club. Get to see the girls off stage getting dressed changing etc so that is a bit of a perk. Only had a quick look inside several girls dancing, one or two topless.

She thought that I would get unlimited calls, 1 GB fast internet for 7 days which would cost 100 baht, so with the 300 baht loaded, this would supply 1 gb of data 3 times over for 21 days. However, the offer had expired the day before, and it was extremely difficult to get the internet working. Eventually went into Central Festival Mart where AIS has a shop. There was a long wait of about 50 minutes for customer service but eventually they set up a plan of fast internet for 10 days with 5 gb of data unlimited calls for 175 baht. After the 10 days I would still have about 120 baht of credit so needed to just top up a little for another 10 days of the same deal. I do not know whether this is a good deal, but Ann thought that AIS was the best with reliable service.
I thought it was not possible anymore to buy a SIM card in shops like Family Mart and 7-eleven. Did you have to register it with your passport? If not then it was probably illegal which could also explain why it didn't work.

I get cramps when I overuse the muscle then there are times cramps come from underuse, whenever I've gotten leg cramps during sex is due to being a bit out of shape and not been doing my stretching. When a cramps come what do you want to do if it isn't so knotted that you can't move or have to bit down on a towel so you aren't screaming your lungs out, get up and try to move or stretch it.

I don't buy the argument that getting paid upfront automatically means substandard service.
Lots of P4P around the world use this method of payment.
The reason is to avoid the possibility of the customer finding some excuse whether real or otherwise not to pay any or all of the agreed fee.
I get it there are less than honest providers out there but not all of them are, most I believe are just ensuring they get paid.
In Thailand it is the norm at soapies and more and more common at oilies.
With FL'S and other face to face transactions as Natty indicated if you agree what services will be provided and you can reassure the girl that there will be no problem with payment later and she feels confident with this then most likely she will accept payment afterwards.

Has anyone ever had a LT freelancer ask for money up front? I most certainly have not. The STers will do it when they plan to make the ST even shorter. You should have asked her if they paid her at the factory before she did the work. Same with buying drinks. I tell them they have to work up a thirst before I buy them a drink.

Apparently, CNY starts at midnight (in her mind) and that was good enough for her. I reduced the time and fee accordingly. Bollocks! She only wanted a coke at the bar so thought that was a good sign but probably just wanted to stay sober for another victim.

Well there are 10,000 hookers in Pattaya (or a large number at any rate) and thus 10,000 stories. At one end of the spectrum there are some nice working girls that have been ripped off by an asshole customer. As you noted I-Rover just because it has the word Bar it doesn't mean it is a place you can barfine the girls. ! I used to get severe leg cramps once in a while. My Doctor recommended drinking Gatorade. He said it was the loss of electrolytes (sodium, potassium and calcium, ect) that causes the problem. So drinking a bottle of Gatorade or Vitaminwater (both of which contain electrolytes) on a regular basis in the evening a few hours before going to bed solved the problem. Knock on wood. I take a quality GNC Men's daily vitamin too, but don't know if that helps or not. It can't hurt.

Along the road Soi Siam Country and Nernpludwan there are pickup trucks from the countryside selling by bulk 70-100 baht for a Kilo. Two years removed I did a yearly bike ride from Pattaya to Bangkok, I depended on it during my route of 34 along Bang Na picking up the juice for 15 baht. Never purchased in the flesh area that the other type of juice?

If you find a young farm fresh one usually the regulars are all line up waiting. By the time I come around they are gone most likely to greener pasture the problem with farm fresh in general I have to do the leading and I'm just too old be a teacher? In the past, I had a few regulars they were in their mid or late 30's they take care of their bodies and I didn't have to put a bag over them enjoy being BF taken out for the evening to eat, drinking locally an evening not feeling they were working and at the end of the night they show their appreciation. Some of the best experiences I've had in Thailand sex wise I've had with these types.
As for the Booze not much has changed, they come they go and the ones that come aren't much and I'm not picky that goes with the majority of the places out here. Some of the Hotter ones wanting 1500 or taking the 1000 + 200 Taxi. I got a LT (10 pm to 9 am) 1500 + 200 baht dinner (for 2). I used TF last time I was in Pattaya, and it wasn't exactly a treasure trove. There were a hundred or so Pattaya working girls (not counting those who say "Chonburi" and are not in town), more or less awful, hardened looking bunch; if they look as they do in pictures, reality is worse. Maybe maybe 3-4 attractive ones, and by attractive, I mean acceptable, not "wow". Finally settled on a decent 22 year old For 1000 baht ST (talked down from 1500) who looked normal, could possibly pass for a non-hooker, and was actually much fresher than expected. Ok service, not incredible chemistry, but she did the work.
Unfortunately, that was a one-off, and next day I couldn't get any of the other 3 acceptable lookers within a reasonable timeframe or price. No, I won't rearrange my day to meet an Issan hooker, or wait for over 2 h for her to maybe not show up, a wank is a better choice than that.
Any online scene, even when relatively good, puts men at a huge disadvantage. Unlike when we're visiting the bars or picking freelancers, picking girls online is basically begging, not choosing. It's entirely up to the girl whether and when she'll come. And whether she'll show up at all. I can (somewhat successfully) beg and plead for women's attention in many places in the world, don't want to do that in Pattaya.

Would like to thank all of the senior members and those that posted reports on the goings-on here in Pattaya. Especially FLHawk, BananaBoi, Mr. E and others. That made planning my trip far easier and gave me an opportunity of what to expect. I'm trying to list prices as well, but some are in Baht and others in US dollars. I've never travelled to Thailand before, but have been to Tijuana on several occasions. My first impressions after 36 hours in Pattaya are that this scene completely blows Tijuana out of the water. The sheer quantity and quality of girls is a shade overwhelming. Since I've never been here before I'm really not qualified to say whether quality has decreased over the years, but from a newbie's perspective, there are certainly some stunners to be found. And while this is my first trip here, it certainly won't be my last.
Anyways, flew over on EVA through Taipei. That was the biggest hassle of the trip thus far. Eventually landed in Bangkok and made my way through customs. It might have been coincidence but a large number of Russians coming though at the same time. Had prearranged a bus ride to Pattaya and made it with minutes to spare. Bus cost was 280 Baht. Staying at the LK Residence on LK Metro. It's adequate, but definitely needs an upgrade. Had originally arranged for a room but found there was no separate shower. After nearly killing myself getting out of the tub / European shower, upgraded to a Jr. Suite with a shower. The room is fine for my needs, but certainly has signs of wear (flooring pulling up, outdated fixtures). Biggest problem is they have not upgraded the outlets so only 1 USB port in my room to charge my phone. Room cost was $400 for my 5 nights here. It does have a pool which is small, but serviceable.
First day got checked in and tried to get a short nap in. I had signed up for TF and upgraded to premium a week before I left. Had arranged for three meetings. Messaged the first through Line and she came right over. 24 years old, sweet and definitely earned her 1000 baht as the long flight had definitely caused performance issues. But she persevered and made sure the task was completed. No kissing, but everything else was on the menu. Walked over to Soi 13/2 for a massage at Happy (I think). Oil massage for 300 baht plus full service. The massage was terrible, but she got the job done at least. Took the night off as I was exhausted from the flight.
Day 2 - Arranged for lunch with another TF contact at Noon. Enjoyed lunch and then dessert back in the room. 30 years old and still a nice tight body. Looked a little better before the shower with makeup on but certainly attractive. (Maybe a 6 or 6.5). Same as Day 1 but a little kissing allowed. 1000 Baht. Took a nap to still recover from jet lag and went out with a friend to a seafood place just off of Walking Street. Couldn't believe the fresh crab or pricing for it. Dinner with 2 crabs was about 1200 baht. Walked up and down Walking Street for awhile. The neon and sheer quantity of people can be a bit overwhelming. My friend said that tourism looked a bit down and there were perhaps only 40% of the normal people. I have no idea if that's true but Chinese New Year is ending so maybe a brief lull.
I had checked out posts here and had a few go-gos on my list, including Palace and Sapphire. Walked past Skyfall and was ignored by the girls in front confirming the information that it's mostly for Asian customers. Walked into Sapphire and got a seat at the stage. Took about an hour to just get my bearings. 12-15 very attractive women swaying on stage that changed up every 30 minutes. From an American perspective, this was way more than we'the ever see in a club. Bought a few lady drinks and chatted but decided not to BF anyone as I was just too tired from travel and earlier activities. Total damage was about 1900 Baht for drinks. Walked out on Walking Street to go home and still plenty of talent on display, but still not jammed.

Let me explain. 95% of my past trips to Patts where extensions of SEA business trips. Any work trips to Hong Kong or Singapore almost always meant a trip to Patts for a long weekend. I decided to take a trip because my buddy is getting married in the Philippines and I helped him book a detour to Patts. So glad he left after 3 days because he ran out of money and made all the newbie mistakes I warned him against. Also for some reason he could not do the exchange rate. I kept saying just drop the zero and divide by 3.
This is my first time back in about 10 years. I expected rates to change, but was a little surprised that bar fine on Soi 6 was 1500. I found 2 decent beach Road gals for 1500ST. I used to love Soi 7 and Soi 8. Now they are a complete waste of time. Walking street is always fun because of the vibe. Go inside a club or GOGO and the story changes. I saw a few guys in clubs like Miami where the hostesses are very cute, but are not leaving with you. (My buddy found out the hard way after 3 k in lady drinks and 3 hrs of wasted time.) There is no fun for me to spend $100 USD for a cute Thai girl to smile at me and laugh at my jokes and tell me how young I look.
You can't even sit for 1 min without getting the shit bugged out of you to buy something to drink. I know the deal is to get all your money as fast as possible, but there was a lot more chill attitude 10 years ago. Also going rate is 3 k ST plus 1500 BF. You'll likely spend 1500 in drinks and tips. So that's $200 USD total for about 1 HR in your room. Then she'll ask for tips for motor bike taxi. This is not the Patts I remember.
I hear the freelance scene is a little better in places like Lucifer. Problem is I am 53 and 2 am bar hopping is not my scene. So if you are like me. Take a late nap and head out at 1 am for club freelancers. Even the damn soapy let me down. The host stole money from my buddy. Never gave him his change back. Also I don't remember "tiered" pricing before. The enhanced girls who stare at their phone most of the time were 3 K. Plus tip.
Stayed at March Hotel off 2nd Road and Soi 5. Nice hotel but a little far from the action. Basically brand new for 35 USD a night. Each room has dedicated WiFi. Check it out on YouTube.
Overall I had a pretty good time, but for me, not worth paying for the whole trip. Now that I have adjusted to the new price stucture, every gogo felt like OT in Singapore. I have NEVER left Patts disappointed, until now.
I wonder if the internet has created a decline worldwide in P4 P services.

This is my first time back in about 10 years. I expected rates to change, but was a little surprised that bar fine on Soi 6 was 1500. I can get white uni 23 yo girl turning tricks to makes end meet to fuck me for 4,500 baht in Sydney whom I have much more in common with than paying this much for a marginally attractive peasant rice farmer.
So, after taking the night off on Day 2, slept in for a bit on Day 3. I'm having a couple of suits and pants made for me while I'm here so went over to Soi 15/4 for another fitting. Prices were far cheaper than USA But will have to see how the clothing stands up once I finally get it. Then decided that, since I'm here, I had to at least check out a Thai soapie. Took the baht bus over to Sabai Room. Again, a bit overwhelming for someone from the USA But essentially you get ushered into a room with a long bar at one end, tables to sit at, and the girls in two (or three) tiers on the one side. Ordered a drink and went over the selection which appeared pretty decent. Basic tier was 2000 Baht and next tier up was 2400 Baht. The higher priced tier definitely were slimmer and a bit cuter than the first tier. I had read here what to expect so I wanted to select a lady with more assets above the waist. Took #151 and upstairs we went. I won't bore everyone with the details (the services in Pattaya soapies are well documented) but I certainly enjoyed the experience. From my perspective, if you're going to a Pattaya soapie for an awesome sexual encounter, you are looking for nothing but disappointment. If you're going to enjoy the pampering and the experience, it's probably worth the price. I've read Bangkok soapies are an entirely different animal but yet to experience. The real negative part was the manager's attitude and insistence for a tip. I was like, "Tip for what? Standing here?
Anyways, took a nap, met up with a friend for dinner and then went back to Walking Street at about 9:30 pm It was a Sunday so a bit slower than the previous night but still packed. Eventually made my way to Tantra. Grabbed a brew and watched 2 changes in the lineup. Did not like the layout of the club (too cramped) and the girls were not to my liking. I prefer a bit of curve and none of that was to be found. The guy next to me pulled out his phone and started to video the girls on stage. The hostess saw him immediately and slapped the phone away. I decided discretion was the better part of valor and headed for the door before security exited him from the premises.
Stopped into Infinity and again checked out the lineup. I thought it was a bit better than Tantra, but nothing really tickled my fancy. Walked over to Sensations and thought the lineup was poor, compared to the other clubs. Finally, went back over to Sapphire. I will pass along one adage for any newbies. When a Thai gogo dancer says "let's meet up with my friends" after you barfine her, you are in for an expensive and LONG night. I had seen 3-4 girls that met my criteria the night before, but had passed due to over consumption. It was far less crowded on Sunday versus the previous evening. Called over 1 girl for a couple of lady drinks but wasn't feeling a vibe. Saw a stunner from the night before and ordered her a couple of drinks as well. #244 (Ja? Long story short, much better vibe and the look I was going for. 5 K Baht for long-time which is the going rate (I know, everything is negotiable). Barfine and drinks (plus drinking games with the hostesses and mamasan) added up to another 1700 Baht.
Went over to Lucifer and she asked if she could have a couple of girlfriends meet up with us. Sure, no problem, I thought. Then bottle service. Then more drinking games with the friends and their friends. It was a long night. Great fun and since it's my first time here it was kind of nice to have someone show me around, but a bit pricey. I think the bottle cost with all the mixers when it was said and done was like 5000 Baht. Anyways, I'm on vacation. Then we just had to go over to a gogo in LK Metro for another friend's birthday. By now, the girl I'd barfined was hammered and it's time to start feeding water. Then, motorbike over to a restaurant past Soi Boukhao with her friend. They order dinner. Another 1000 Baht. But, again, I'd never have gone there without a local, the food was really good, and I'm paying a premium for the tour guide. Finally ended up back at my place and the alcohol had taken its toll on her. Within 5 minutes she's out.
Day 4-4.5.
Woke up next morning at 9:00 am And she's still out. 12:00 pm Still out. Finally got her up at 3:00 pm Eventually woke her up enough to get Round 1. Looked just as good without the clothes as in them. Responded well and seemed to enjoy. Picked us up some dinner from Ruenthai on Second Road (really good food) for 300 Baht. Had dinner together and she left at around 5:00 pm I was beat and took a short nap. Had another fitting for the pants at the tailor and then responded to the TF girl I'd met on Day 2. Went over to Next Best Bar on Soi 8. Played some pool and some dice game (Jackpot?) with her and mamasan. Total drinks and BF was 1400 Baht. Thai holiday the next day so bar closed at midnight. Went back to hotel and again, she fell asleep shortly thereafter. I did get Round 1 in the morning which was again, really good. Had breakfast together at McHead Restaurant on Second Road (decent English breakfast) for 300 Baht and then had to go back to my hotel to get some work done.
Overall, soapies are exactly what everyone here has said. I doubt you're going to get anything uncovered, the manager and attendants all have their hands out for tips and aren't bashful, but if you enjoy some pampering, you'll probably think it was worth the money. The going rates for ST and LT posted by BananaBoi for tourists appear to be very accurate. If you're a local or regular I'm sure discounts are there to be had. I did not visit Soi 6 but saw some cuties on Soi 8 so the occasional "diamond in the rough" is still there. Plenty of stunners in the major gogo's for all preferences, whether you like them tall and slim or more hourglass. I have no information to compare from 5 or 10 years ago, but these are just my perceptions as a first-timer. And the food and other costs here are substantially cheaper (than USA Or even Mexico) which made up for the long flight over. One more night and the bus picks me up tomorrow morning.

Don't listen to anyone's opinion on here on which is better. There are pro Pattaya and pro Bangkok guys. Go to both and make your own opinion. They are both worth seeing.
If good food matters at all as it certainly does for me, Bangkok is WAY better than Pattaya.

That is good advice BB. As a "pro Bangkok guy" I got to say, I spent a long weekend in Pattaya in October after a 2 year hiatus and I had a great time & met some damn sexy girls. I still prefer the big city overall because there is more to do, more variety, and yes better restaurants, but I have already booked another weekend sidetrip from BKK in May and looking forward to it. BKK is the big city. Patt is the resort town. Take you pick. Both good for what you want/what you need - girls.

For me the biggest difference between BKK and Pattaya is the clientele. The gogo bars in both cities have fairly similar clientele since they are the more expensive places to hobby. However, most of the low cost Pattaya beer bars attract customers who look much more poor and ghetto than the average BKK beer bar customers. In Pattaya, you will see more guys wearing tank tops, sandals, and dirty sometimes putrid clothes. It's not just the way guys dress some of the Pattaya guys just look poor as fuck.

Easier to get around and the mongering is totally immersive, you cannot turn a corner down there without walking into a working girl. It has the beach such as it is, trips to the islands and other happy holiday bits and pieces.
It takes time to know and understand Bangkok, how to get around, where to eat but when you live here for a while, get used to the traffic and become familiar with the scene there is no comparison.
I like them both. I will stay mostly in Pattaya due to lower costs and a more laid back atmosphere. But I always spend the last 5 nights of my trips in BKK. To me Pattaya was more of a tourist area (don't get me wrong there is plenty of activity to get into if you know what I mean) I don't plan to ever go there again but that's my preference. I would probably do a BKK & (Phuket or Chiang Mai) on my next visit. However If you never been before then try to split time and experience both. I don't think you would go wrong plus read up there is plenty of valuable info here on both!

A ride to Pattaya is 1000 to 1500 b / trip. It's cheaper to holiday there though the gogo's have reached Bangkok prices. Pattaya is great if the preference is a more laid back trip and without much of the noise of the city. Bangkok is great if the preference is restaurants, roof bars, and being in a city.
Been having a very good success rate getting LINE ID's from Thai Friendly, seems the best time to ask is right before your trip. But it is hit and miss, many girls don't respond but those that do give their LINE ID's are usually freelancers. You can also tell by some girls Thai Friendly ID that it might be their LINE ID as well and do a quick search. Works OK if they are freelancers but got a few regular girls who did get a bit upset when asked if they were free for sex.

When I arrived at the airport yesterday morning I went downstairs as usual to see what time the bus was leaving. It would be over an hour. Fuck that. I took the elevator to the 4th floor and went outside to the taxis. First guy I talked to, asked him how much to Pattaya. He said how much you pay? I said 900. He said let's go. He started the meter.
I told him that I knew the tolls were 60 baht. He said they were now 105 baht. I didn't check or anything. I just ended up handing him 1100 baht when it was time to pay the tolls. He stopped off later at a gas station.
When we arrived at my place, the meter read 1137 baht for 1 hour 42 minutes and 125km.
I got in late last night. Took a walk over to Kink Agogo. Bought a drink and watched the ladies for awhile. It was nice to no be bothered for lady drinks. I did pull a girl of off the stage. Thai and Lao like to have a number of different dishes when they eat; 3 or 4 dishes are not uncommon. If you don't eat with her, there will always be food left over.
For the most part refrigerated food should only be kept for 72 hours. Any longer than that throw it away or risk getting sick.

A great majority of you might not believe this but many don't even own a refrigerator. Many Thais on a daily basis to keep something cool for a period just buy a bag of Ice and put this in a small foam cooler for 24 hours. Although not a conclusion I have twelve renters only one of them have a small refrigerator too expensive to run for the majority.

When they are finished with the renovation and adding Beach Club next door to the mix it will feel separate from the main original stage. The whole setup will be like a square off horseshoe. As you walk down the outdoor path to Happy, Beach is on the right, as you get closer to Happy entrance to the left is the second stage but you need to enter through the main entrance then turn left / left to seat yourself at this stage. Everyone like to sit around the middle and main stage the current side stage is just an afterthought when they finish the renovation and attach Beach which is on the right it will be the same as the left side separate due to the foundation of the pillars of the building. Can't see it any other way there will be three stages and if the girls don't rotate fast enough you would be picking up your drink bin cup and looking for a new location?
Well the tour is at an end. Over the 5 days my wingman and I had our share of fun. Most daytime action was on soi 6. The bars around Lust on Soi were the pick and we did manage to find some good performers. Overall quality on soi 6 was ok IMHO. We did try Kinnaree once but found the girls to be too pushy and average. Performance a little mechanical too.
The nighttime action we tended to concentrate around LK metro and then ended up on WS. Pick of LK Metro gogos was Kink. Good looking girls and a lot of them. WS I thought that Sapphire still is still the pick. I had two girls from that bar and both were great performers. One a real GFE while the other was not quite a GFE but was very accommodating. Lots of BBBJ and DATY action.
Pattaya is still heaven for the monger. A lot of girls and if you have the time you will find what you are looking for. We certainly did. Thanks again to Banana Boi for introducing us to Kink.

How many times have I said to work out a price on Soi 6 OR like you said 1000 all in for your chick (massage or Chaiyapoon), where other guys are paying 1000 plus the massage or 1000 plus the room. I just left Mike's shopping where I bought a Buriram and Thailand football shirt. Dude started at 400 baht each. I told him 200 baht. We settled at 250 each.
Also, I had a chick over last night that has a partially done big tattoo on the upper right side of her back. She said it cost 6000 baht, prepay. She has to go back and get it finished. This is the same chick I know that used to come from Bangkok some weekends to work on Beach Road. She used to always talk shit because I would only pay her 1000 baht LT (but she would always accept it). That was a couple of years ago. She has since moved to Pattaya and gotten a good job. This morning when I took her home I had the same 1000 baht ready for her. But before I gave it to her I asked if I need to give her money. (She was acting more of a normal girlfriend than before.) She said no. Then she said give me 100 baht. I gave her 100 baht.
We were also talking about how it is monkey see monkey do around here. She said that her tattoo place said they are not making any money now. A few years ago things were good, but now everybody and their mom has opened a tattoo shop. Barber shops and coffee stands have also sprung up. Nobody can make any money around here for all the copycats.
Had a great time.
Spent nights split up between GoGos near Walking Street, Soapies near Soi 2, Soi 6 bars and the Freelancers on Beach Road. Spent days at lo key bars on 2nd St and by the pool.
Gogos, Windmill and Dollhouse were the best. Tried a Russian one, Eden? Windmill and Dollhouse were great, the Russian place a dud with overpriced drinks.
Soapies, 3 times, didn't spend more than 2800 baht total, had great girls.
Freelancers: spent 1000 to 1200 baht, had great girls the one with 1200ST was worth it and she went the extra 20% for me (I appreciate the extra attention).
Soi 6: spent 1000 to 1500 baht. Went twice both at night, bit overwhelmed and didn't spend enough time choosing the right girls. I think if I would have taken my time, it would have been better.
My buddy liked the bar girls the best (he found one lady for 500 baht after she got off work, OK looking but I rather spend more for a looker), I liked the Soapies best, with best value the freelancers.
Next time, longer trip like a month. This trip was just 7 days, so I wanted to explore. What do LT people do? Do you keep a lady just for one night or multiple nights? I think if I found a freelancer I liked, I think 1700-2000 baht a day for say 3 to 7 days would be nice. I did get the LINE of a freelancer that I liked, what is a fair number to offer for a week? (its the one I paid ST 1200 baht for) BTW- She has texted me often, so I know she is interested but her normal rate 2500 baht a day for a week seems a lot especially since I am picking up meals and whatever.

I don't recall any other gogo bar in Pattaya charging different rates for lady drinks other than coyotes are usually 50 baht less than "models" who are topless or nude. You mentioned you were upstairs so weren't all those "Models"?
I've also never heard a gogo bar in Pattaya charging 250 baht for a lady drink, especially not in budget conscious LK Metro. You should try some of the other high mileage gogo bars in Pattaya for prettier skanky girls because I was at Kink downstairs twice this week and it scared me when they lowered the stage and I had to even look at the "models" from upstairs.
You mentioned you were with a very experienced monger. Why didn't he tell you that you were being hustled having to buy drinks for girls every 10 minutes and that you needed to tip them 100 baht to touch them. Neither is true. I have NEVER had to tip a girl extra to feel them up. 3 to 4 drinks maximum per hour is the right pace to keep a girl there all night.

For a week, that reduced rate would typically be roughly her ST rate times 7. Obviously other factors need to be taken into consideration: a busy girl is unlikely to agree to just one ST payment per day; going on a holiday or somewhere attractive to her sweetens the deal. I never consider paying for her food, 5 star accommodation etc a factor in her payment. Her family can't eat air conditioning or nice sheets. 😉.

You assume she is going to get 3 ST, which may not be the case. (And remember there are way more chicks around this place than active mongers.)
To obtain 3 ST she has to spend time looking for and obtaining customers, which is work. When she finds them she will have to go from place to place fucking 3 times per day. The LT guy is probably not going to fuck her 3 times per day and she already has her bird in the hand as opposed to 3 in the bush.
So put it like this, would you rather go to work and pay for your own daily expenses with the chances of making 3600 baht per day, or be on an all expenses paid vacation while getting paid a sure 2500 baht per day? With the 3600 she could possibly have 1100 baht in expenditures which is going to net her 2500 anyway!

Sorry for the delay, but now that I am back home and working my butt off to be able to afford to head there again, I have little time to do these reports. I will catch up bit by bit.
After we spent an hour or so in Kink playing and watching and drinking and fending off the lady drink hustle, we headed out to check out the beer bars in the area. Did a fair bit of cruising around, most of the talent was less alluring than the minimum needed to begin negotiations for company for the night. Went into dozens of places, didn't drink much, mostly did a quick survey and headed back out. Had a Guinness at Witherspoons where a great band was playing, and also went down to Toy Bar off 2nd Road where a pretty good Philippine band was also playing. Not really wanting to head back to the hotel alone, I decided to make another pass through LK even though it was now quite late and the place was emptying out. My wingman had found company and was just being a good buddy watching me unsuccessfully search, LOL. A spinner bolted out of a dim bar not far from Devil's Den and grabbed my arm and wouldn't let go, LOL. She was older than my preference, but the figure was superb and attitude seemed excellent (or maybe the rent was due and she was desperate for a customer, who knows). Had a drink and on the spur of the moment I decided WTF and pulled the trigger. It was Lucky Friend You bar, mostly older ladies there. But fun anyway. 300 bt to the bar, and she agreed 1 K all night. Headed back to the hotel.
What a good choice I ended up having made! Totally attentive, sweet, rockin' body, and it must've been quite some time since she got adequate action, because she became a tigress in the sack. Had a great session and passed out about 2:30 AM. Then was awakened by the cutie working my parts at about 4 and we had another great session Passed out again as I was really spent, and I'll be damned. There are 2 bars with girls near Jomtien Walking Street. Kit Kat Lounge Club which is pretty much right there and Passion G Club which is about a 5 minute walk. Passion is more hands on and more girls. Both bars very inconsistent talent wise.

The other night I went looking for my mamasan at her bar on Soi Lengkee. 10 pm and the bar was closed. I sent her a messsage and she said that she had told me that the place was closing and she was opening up another place. (She said the old place was 35 K per month for 4 floors.) I am not about to drive all the way over there. Then I remembered a friend of mine was having a birthday party at the bar she works at in Made in Thailand, so I headed over there.
The next night I was not doing anything so I decided to pop in to see my mamasan. She had sent the location as The Hideaway Resort. I started my GPS and headed that way. When I got there it was quiet and I saw nothing resembling a bar in sight. I turned my motorbike around and was about to send her a message when she was actually walking in my direction. She had come from 7 Eleven.
She said the new place is a gentlemen's club and it is actually kind of at The Hideaway Resort. But when you enter the hotel breezeway you are actually on the back side of the g-club. On the first floor on that side there are blacked out sliding glass doors that have signs up saying private party. I asked how somebody is supposed to know about this place. She said something about only knowing if they are on the facebook page or whatever.
She gave me a tour and took me out the front door. Ahh there is a sign and everything makes more sense now. She said I probably would not have found it if she would have described it that way though. But anyway they are open from 2 pm to 10 pm. They have an MC Burger buffet on Sundays for 299 baht. Lady drinks are 125 baht.
Upstairs are the private rooms. But they are not bedrooms. They are just big rooms with a few sofas in them. I was asking her how much for the girls and about taking them up, but she was like whatever happens between whoever is their own business. So beats me. I did meet a couple of the girls while I was there last night. Nice. If anyone is familiar with Sky Gallery then it is a couple hundred meters before you get to that.

I visited Blue Olives when it first opened because I liked one of the girls in the photos they used to promote the bar. Figured she'd be worth 1000 baht which I assumed was the cost. She wasn't there. No one else there interested me to ask about pricing. Good thing about this bar is Heaven G club is nearby and Kinnaree is a 30 baht motorbike ride away.

Bit of a boring day in Pattaya today. I was in the mood for having a few drinks but discovered that all bars are closed today from 6 PM until 6 PM tomorrow. No alcohol is permitted to be sold anywhere so it's not even possible to buy beers from 7-11.
I was told it is because of elections tomorrow and it will be exactly the same next Saturday, from 6 PM until 6 PM Sunday. I haven't been to Soi 6 but everything must be closed there. Walking Street is dead now with no discos or bars open. Luckily massage shops are not affected by this bar ban so at least I was able to get laid in Soi Chaiyapoon before.
