What options do I have to travel from BKK to Pattaya? Buses / shuttles? Taxis? Planning on arriving into BKK but will spend some time in Pattaya. How does it compare as far as services and women to BKK?The best way to get from BKK to Pattaya is to hitchhike. Once you clear customs, go up to the level where departing passengers are dropped off. Traffic is one way. Walk to the very end of the sidewalk, where the cars exit the airport. Stand on the side of the road and raise your left hand over your head, like you are a student in class seeking the teacher's attention. Using two fingers only, make a rapid twirling motion with your raised hand. This is a local custom that signals you are looking for a ride to Pattaya. Once a car stops tell the driver Khuṇ x̂wn la ng, which means "peace be upon you; I need a ride to Pattaya." About halfway to Pattaya, the driver will stop at a plaza that contains a 7-11 and several shops. You are expected to buy him a case of beer.

As for how Pattaya compares to Bangkok, you are wise to ask because I don't think that topic has ever come up before. My last trip was before COVID, but with that caveat I can assure you that Pattaya is very much better, especially the girls you will find on Soi 6/1. (Not Soi 6. Soi 6/1.) If you go with the girls on Soi 6/1 I think you will definitely be surprised.

If you arrive into BKK I assume you do your Test & Go PCR test at a BKK hotel? When you're good you can take a bus or van from Ekkamai bus terminal (BTS Station Ekkamai, there's OK signage). Buses are about 119 baht and vans 140. Vans can drop you in central Pattaya (at the main road) but may take longer due to many stops / avoiding tolls.

Taxi Pattaya to BKK is 1200, BKK cabbies will probably ask much more, just guessing. I'd take Airport Link to BKK airport and try catch an empty, homebound Pattaya taxi at departures, they will be OK with maybe 900, surely 1000 (99% are empty on return). Have no idea how many they are now post covid. There are buses from Suvarnabhumi as well, daytime operation mostly these days.Thanks for the information. I had a so-called non-pro girl from BKK stay with me a few nights (different hotel though) and she mentioned there had been some altercation with a gay member of the hotel staff about taking an ATK, but it ended up she didn't have to. So my suggestion is just be and look confident and it will mostly be fine. So I took my factory girl on a tour of Soi 6 and Walking Street last night. After a couple of hours of drinking at the usual places there, we went to Windmill.

As explained here, Windmill gives you a free ATK test upon entry. You can stick the swap in your throat, which we did. After 2 minutes, we got the results and went into the bar.

The first floor was disappointing as the ladies wear underwear now. Worse, there was one lady who had worked KFC with my friend years before, so I was stuck with her, as well. The Windmill lady said she was working upstairs, so off we went to the second floor. Up there, not so much underwear. The Windmill lady was doing the lesbi show on a table, and sat next to two ladies. My lady friend was sort of shocked but intrigued by the nudity and the lewd behavior of the ladies. Meanwhile, the second floor was filling up.

We were drinking tequilas, so when my lady friend started fading, we went back to my condo to unwind.

Depending on your arrival time a friend recently arrived in the morning he booked a reasonable price hotel that included pickup at the airport, testing, which at the airport inside the Van took him just off the airport never got out of Van for PCR test continued to Pattaya arrived around noon, by 4 Pm his result negative off to Soi Buakhao he went.

A typical night out in Pattaya:

I barfined a lady from Maggie May's, and we went to Soi 6 first to drink at Ruby Club. Right in front of us, some young Farang started fighting with someone who had been driving a truck (I didn't see how it started). Apparently, the driver had a knife and stabbed the Farang in the stomach and drove away. The Farang walked away, clutching his stomach.

Then we went to Walking Street.

Maybe 50% of the venues are still closed, but one major deprovement is that cars can now pass through Walking Street 24 hours a day. No fun.

First stop was Skyfall. It's a shadow of its former self, only 4 ladies dancing.

I ordered Sansom Soda for my Date, she told the waitress to bring Coke + Soda. So, I ordered tequilas for us. When they came, I drank hers, it was tequila flavored water.

Then we went to Pinup. It had been downsized by 50%, but was jammed with ladies and customers. Most of the waiters are Tom's, the rest are fat ladies. The Mamasans are older fat big ladies. But some of the dancers are very nice.

I ordered tequilas for us, and drank the one given to my Date. It was sugar water, so I demanded a real tequila. What I got wasn't tequila, but it had alcohol. The Tom who served us drinks was clearly trying to make time with my Date, so we left for Windmill.

Once again, I had a free ATK test before entry.

Once inside, a lady who I bought a drink for the previous night glommed onto me, and then another lady I knew from before Covid showed up, and I was buying rounds of tequila for 4 people. Except the waitress added a 5th tequila for her.

My Date was fairly astounded by Windmill, and after more tequila was grabbing the dancers. The only downside at Windmill was that the second floor was closed.

Then, we headed back to my place for fun and sleep. At 4 am, my Date woke up and headed back to her room, 2000 baht in hand.

Ask for the rooms facing the ocean.I checked out the Pattaya Hilton, and while it looks like a great place, a suite is about $220 US. I am partial to suites, but that seems expensive.

So, I will ask a modified request for help. I want a hotel that is nice with excellent WiFi (I will need to Zoom while I am in Pattaya) that has nice suites. It does not have to be 4 or 5 star, but it must be GF. Breakfast is not important. For comparison, I stay in the Bless Residence in on Soi 33 in BKK (wonderful suites and very GF, for those who do not know the place. If you like a great breakfast, it is not for you, LOL).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I always recommend the Wave Hotel on Beach Road directly south of the Hilton. The price is still expensive @$150 but it is quite nice when compared with the cost and look of the Hilton. GF, of course, though they must have ID to enter.

I want a hotel that is nice with excellent WiFi (I will need to Zoom while I am in Pattaya) that has nice suites. I have not found a hotel in Thailand that has excellent WiFi. So far, all of them have unpredictable times when it gets slow and unsuitable for things like Zoom.

My solution has been to get a Thailand cell service SIM that allows you to use hotspot functionality. The plain vanilla DTAC service sold at BKK baggage claim area works fine for me. I only use hotel WiFi to backup my iPhone.

I must admit that WiFi at most hotels is much better than it was a few years ago, but still not excellent.

The location is excellent. The suites are large and comfortable and have really large kitchens. It's been years since I stayed there, but when I did the wi-fi was acceptably fast.

You could also consider the Baraquda:

Also features an excellent location, next door to The Avenue shopping area. They have some suites with a balcony overlooking the pool. Very contemporary decor. Probably more expensive than the Whitehouse.

Finally, consider renting a condo. These come in various sizes, but if you look around you can find a 50 square meter place with an efficiency layout and a balcony. Some even have a washer and a decent cable TV / internet package.

One quick word for you to remember, Phuket is far more than just Patong and Bangla Road.

Patong itself has many different areas and prices, just like Pattaya does.

And then outside of Patong there are areas in Kamala, Kata, Chalong and Rawai.

Test and Go is gone, no pre-booking of hotels required (except for unvaccinated). A. K. A. No pre or post-arrival mandatory Covid-19 tests.

Thailand Pass remains mainly to prove insurance and vaccination status.

Alcohol serving venues can stay open until Midnight, although continue to be converted into restaurants and not legally bars or nightlife.

Mandatory insurance reduced to 10,000 USD.

Effective May 1st.

The general meeting of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O'Cha, has announced the cancellation of the 'Test&Go' scheme and zoning relaxation in controlled areas (orange zones), effective May 1st.

Firstly, Thailand Pass will remain, mainly to verify vaccination status and proof of insurance. This will be continually evaluated. Thailand Pass will also be paused temporarily to update the system for the new rules, set to start on the first of May. Those who have already booked will need to inquire individually with hotels / Thailand Pass about potential refunds or "grandfather" clauses after May 1st. Before May 1st, all current rules will apply.

As a result of scrapping the 'Test&Go' scheme, all mandatory Covid-19 tests for vaccinated travelers have been canceled upon arrival in the Kingdom and only one self-ATK test is recommended (but not compulsory) during their stay. If an infection is found, they are required to go for treatment through the insurance process. Essentially, once one enters Thailand and goes through confirmation of their Thailand Pass paperwork and customs, they are free to go where they wish as of May first.

For non-vaccinated tourists, an RT-PCR test is required on the 4th-5th day of arrival in Thailand. If negative, a self-ATK (rapid antigen) test is later recommended during their stay. If an infection is found, they are required to go for treatment through an insurance process. A non-vaccinated person must still pre-book a hotel for five days and conduct a mandatory five-day hotel stay / quarantine, for now, this may change later this year.

The CCSA also announced the reduction of the insurance minimum coverage for both groups of vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers from a minimum of USD 20,000 to a minimum of USD 10,000.

High-risk individuals who had contact with a person who tested positive for Covid-19 now only need to be quarantined for five days. They should also perform a self ATK test on Day 5 and Day 10. For days 6-10, they are allowed to end their quarantine but must continue to self-monitor their symptoms and self-test on day ten.

For domestic regulations, the CCSA has rezoned all the provinces in the controlled areas, or the orange zone, to the high surveillance areas, or the yellow zone, and some in the tourist pilot areas, or the blue zone. Essentially, this means all the provinces in the country are now basically following the same set of rules.

As a result, Thailand now has 0 provinces in the highest and most strict control areas (dark red), the maximum control area (red zone), and the controlled areas (orange zone), which dictated the level of Covid-19 rules that were set.

The high surveillance areas now has 65 provinces which include:

Kalasin Kamphaeng Phet Khon Kaen, Chanthaburi, Chachoengsao, Chaiyoeng, Chiang Rai, Trang, Trat, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Sawan, Narathiwat, Pattani, Narathiwat, Phra Sawan, Mukthan, Lamphun, Lamphun, Lamphun Songkhram, Sa Kaeo, Samut Songkhram, Sa Kaeo Saaburi, Sing Buri, Sukhothai, Suphan Buri Surin, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lamphu, Ang Thong, Amnat Charoen Uthai Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Tak Nakhon Nayok, Ubon Ratchathani Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Buriram, Prachuap Khiri Khan Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Phatthalung, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Ranong, Ratchaburi, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Surat Thani, Udon Thani, and Uttaradit.

The blue zone or tourism pilot areas has now increased from 10 provinces to 12 provinces which include: Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Krabi, Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phang Nga, Phetchaburi, Phuket, Rayong, and Songkhla.

Technically, bars and nightclubs, and entertainment venues remain legally closed and will continue as converted restaurants. This will be evaluated in the future, the CCSA noted. As stated above, however, venues that are "restaurants" can legally serve alcohol until midnight as of May first.

School openings were also discussed, which are the same as this article we published earlier today.

All of the changes above will be effective on May 1st. TPN notes that none of this is official until is printed as law in the Royal Gazette, which as usually based on decisions in the past take place just before the date it becomes effective. All rules and policies announced, as always, are subject to change.

This is a developing story and future changes and / or clarifications could be made to this article.

Majority of Indians often haggle on everything for a meagre amount of money. There were more cases of them refusing to pay the agreed amount after the deed even. 1 case goes like: The guy agreed 1000 baht for ST. After the deed is done, he asked for 50% discount and says he'll just pay 500 baht.

In another case, group of Indian tourist walk into a massage parlour. They haggle for half the quoted price. After they got the price they agreed on, they asked to see the girl naked first. Firstly. Thanks to everyone as I have gathered a lot of great advice in these forums and I wanted to share some of my tips using TF for strictly freelancers.

Tips:

1) to piggy-back off another user, definitely use a photo. Will get more responses.

2) Get the premium version of the app / site. But if you just want to stick with the free version, you have more options when using the website. So just use the website instead of the app for most of your research as this bypasses the 'popular' premium' limitation of viewing profiles in the app.

3) If anywhere at all they write 'freelance', or 'available' with hearts or money emojis etc, and provide little to no profile information with sexy photos, you can expect them to be freelancers and available for sex. Just message them to ask for charges / line ID, can use no condom etc.

4) When messaging them, use simple sentences. As most of them are using translators, of you throw a wall of text they tend to only respond to 1 question (if you asked them multiple) or just don't respond at all.

5) Don't ever trust the profile pictures / line pictures. Most will use touch-up apps (U-Like) etc, so they will likely be darker and face is worse than the picture.

6) If you are not sure if a girl is a freelancer, and are using the free version (which limits you to 1 msg every 10 minutes) just show interest in them first so you can come back to them later when you have a msg available.

7) Try to hide / block as many girls as possible as you will get to see more of the new profiles coming out.

8) Some might just message you straight out if you looking for ST, though I tend to avoid them as I feel they seem to be more desperate and willing to scam you. (Hasn't happened to me yet as I have been careful with those freelancers).

Gentlemen, this is a report from my visit to Pattaya the week of April 10 16. I'm sorry for just now posting this. I know things are evolving quickly so some of this might be outdated already, but hopefully it still helps some.

Summary of the Girls:

Looks - The quality of the girls seems lower compared to pre-COVID days. This could be due to the fact that there are just fewer girls now. I'd say there are probably only 40% of the girls compared to pre-COVID. Naturally, that means there will also be fewer 8's and 9's walking around so the perception of overall quality can be skewed. That said, whatever it is, the girls don't seem as hot as before.

Attitude - The girls seem a bit more reserved than I recall. It's almost like they're unsure what to do. This could be due to current COVID rules but might also be because many of these girls are new and never indoctrinated into the old Pattaya ways. It's been two years since Pattaya was at normal capacity so perhaps these girls will need some time to learn the trade. It's an interesting change.

Performance - Overall, I'd say very good. Granted, I was only with 4 girls so it's a small sample size but they were all lovely. - LT: I didn't really ask, but it seems most girls only want ST. This could also be a COVID-related change but I recall things were heading in this direction before, so it's hard to say.

Summary of Pattaya:

Walking Street - There were definitely signs of life when I was there but it was only about 1/3 of the of pre-COVID days. Baccara, Pin-up, Tantra, Fahrenheit, The Dollhouse, Sapphire, Glass House, and Windmill were all open. Although, the number of girls was maybe 50% of normal. As an example, the upstairs areas at the gogos that have them were not open. Pin-up and Windmill were the busiest I saw. Windmill required a COVID test to enter but the process was pretty fast and easy. IBar was also open but they only had the back section open and upstairs at Insomnia was also closed. They required a COVID test to enter but I was able to show them my test from Windmill and they let me in each time.

LK Metro - Nearly every bar and gogo was open, but like Walking Street they were not at full capacity. As an example, only the downstairs at Kink was open which I was bummed to see. When I was there all the bars and gogos in the city had to close by midnight but there was an afterhours bar in between two of the gogos sort of across from Kink which was a good find.

Tree Town - This was a new area for me. I didn't go there in the past, but it seems they have built it into more of a destination. There are many bars and a large food area. It's a nice vibe and it seems many of the girls go there after the bars and gogos close to eat, so it's a good after-hours pick-up spot. Aside from that, the entire area always felt like it was going to become a big party that never quite materialized. As a side note, if you're interested in buying weed, I was able to score some here from the ladies who sell Viagra and other things. They seemed less shady than some of the touts on walking street and there were no hassles.

Soi 6 - Most of the bars were open, but the energy seemed very low. Per my comments above about the girls, it's like they weren't interested in making money or weren't comfortable speaking English to customers. The quality of the girls was also low in my opinion. Whatever it was, the vibe just seemed a bit off.

Gentlemen's Clubs - There seems to be a surge in gents clubs compared to what I recall before. There are some new places like High Rollers on Soi Pothole and there was a good selection of girls. I will have to do more exploration on these places next time.

This will be the first post of a 3-week stay in Pattaya and the first installation of a series of reports as I make my way across the big SEA mongering hubs: Pattaya, Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Angeles during the next 3 months. I'm curious to see how things have changed since my last visits in 2018 and 19 and am looking forward to giving some valuable on the ground reporting.

At my hotel near LK Metro, just about every monger is an aging Aussie or Brit- the Brits with completely unintelligible northern or working class accents and usually some physical handicap like a limp. The standard Pattaya expat, roughly 60-67 years old, loosely fitting cargo shorts, sandals / clogs, loosely fitting faded t-shirt with large gut, pasty and bald, weathered face looks like spent driving a truck somewhere in Scotland or manager of a Sydney warehouse, faded tattoo sleeve- accompanied by a short, slightly dumpy, slightly hot Thai girl about 30-35. In the gym you see a different crowd- younger Russians, Arabs, and Brits with more intelligible accents. No Chinese tourists, some Koreans.

The Girls

I've been to Buakhao, LK, Pothole, Boomerang, Treetown and Soi 6- let me know if I'm missing anywhere. From this sample I am not impressed- the majority are average or below average- not bangable. There is always at least one or two girls at a Soi 6 bar that you might want to fuck, but usually they are taken, or if not they are going to be super new to the game and inexperienced. The numbers and ratio is skewed in our favor- but if you are looking for 6's and above- it involves work.

Beer Bars

I hate Beer Bars- I suspect they are designed for pub-loving British alcoholic geriatric men who can't really have sex anymore but want female attention. It does not seem like there is much sex on offer at Beer Bars on Pothole or Buakhao, and it doesn't look like the guys are really trying to get it. I did a full circuit of the track a few times and concluded it was a waste. My first experience was terrible. The Den, located at the end of Soi Pothole, looked more promising at least than the BeerBars, but after wasting 2 hours there talking to 2 cousins from Loei- both very slender and petite, just my type- I concluded that this "Gentlemans Club" was basically a fancy beer bar as neither one of these two were available for sex and the emphasis here seemed to be getting men to pay for expensive lady drinks. The beach side of the street seems to have opened more- with a few of the Nightwish bars and similar operations up and running. I feel like the pretty sexy girls are still doing the live-streams though- as really only a couple girls looked bangable to me on the entire street. The Thai public will be allowed to plant cannabis and hemp without requesting permission from June 9th onwards, only by registering on an official application, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revealed Friday, May 20th.

Withit Saritsadeechaikul, Deputy Secretary-General of the FDA, told the Associated Press that from June 9th, those who are interested to grow the plants at home for health and / or commercial purposes will be allowed to do so without authorization but are required to register on the "Plook Kan" (Plant Cannabis) application, developed by the FDA.

However, the import of cannabis seeds, hemp, and other parts of the plant, such as inflorescences, leaves, branches, and stalks, will require a permit under the Plant Breeding Act be. E. 2518 and the Plant Quarantine Act be. E. 2507. Importing plant extracts classified as a narcotic must still be licensed under laws on narcotics.

The Deputy Secretary-General also mentioned that the FDA is currently in the process of preparing regulations to prohibit imports of herbal products as the FDA has a core policy to encourage entrepreneurs to produce and use raw materials that come from domestic plantings.

I begin my Thursday with a workout, light lunch and rest before I decide to head to Soi 6 for adventure around 16:00. Again, a great place to wander until you find something cheap you just got to have. Tukcom and environs are an easy walk from the central part of town. Before you know it, you've been on your feet for three hours. In addition to your cheap treasures, you've gotten a little exercise and it's time for a nap.

This is a good question but hard to answer definitively. I think the first thing you need to do is adopt an abundance mentality- that BBFSCIP is out there, and you are not lucky to get it. If a girl declines, there will be plenty more that do not decline. I feel the same way about my physical preferences and will filter specifically for petite, slim girls under 26 or so. A summary glance at my Thaifriendly to Line pipeline and it looks like ⅓ flat out reject no condom, ⅓ will but for an additional fee, and ⅓ are open to it or implied that anything is on the table. I think most of the time if you can't get BBFS, you should be able to at least get a BBBJ with CIM.

My feeling is that the girls that are most open to BBFS are either low volume girls who use TF intermittently or high volume girls who have just stopped caring. In the middle are girls who have realized it's a possible bargaining tool, and girls who simply will not because they are hot enough to get business without compromising.

As far as day time activities and things to do, there is a lot to do in Pattaya.

My typical daily routine is to workout in the morning and then go for a walk at the beach or at one of the malls and have coffee and lunch. I rarely eat breakfast, good way to keep weight off. Mid afternoon when it is blazing hot I stay in my room and prep for my session. I'm lightweight, I only session once a day. I top my evening / night off with dinner and watching Netflix. I also sneak in a massage most days as well, you can't beat a one hour massage for less than $10 including tip.

I find the days go by fast in Pattaya. Just walking around the town is enjoyable.

I haven't been to Pattaya since early 2019 and hope to spend more time doing activities in Pattaya this time as there are lots of little amusement parks and zoos to frequent. Maybe 3000 baht a week for women. 200 baht a day for food, $75 US for motorbike for a month. Then head back to Pattaya for a week. Then bus to bkk then home.

Once arriving at any city, the goal of a monger should be to build a harem of ladies in rotation, seeing 1-3 of them about 3 or 4 times a week (tweak number as needed), and using the remainder of time to find new prospects. The Location, Ambience and Amenities:

Like I mentioned before, this place is catered to the rich locals and foreigners who seem to be there for a few days and it clearly shows in the experience. My host spoke perfect English and explained how the whole experience works. There are multiple tiers of pricing based on colors. Each girl has a color tag on her that indicates which tier she is in. The lowest tier starts at 2200 and the highest Tier (called XXX) is 5500. I asked him what makes the tiered girls different other than the looks because I saw pretty girls and fugly girls in every tier, he said the new girls are usually towards the mid tiers and the tried and tested ones who have been in the market for a while are in the early tiers. No girls were available in the most premium 3 tiers so I didn't bother asking him about it. The room time is anywhere between 60 to 90 minutes and the payment covers everything from soapy massage to FS (no DFK because of Covid). I didn't ask about anal as that is not my thing. You can pay with a credit card and there is a 3% fee according to the host. He said, he doesn't charge any additional fee for a CC but he said my bank will. I am assuming he is referring to the FX fee which none of my credit cards have. Any seniors care to chime in? I am asking because some of these places treat the transaction as Cash Advance which means they will add interest to the account balance from the day I make this transaction.

The line up was strictly average for my taste but I am sure most of you would be happy with it. There were some cute looking girls who unfortunately have done boob jobs and that's a huge turn off to me. If any of you plan to visit, go early like I did. 3 PM to 4 PM is the sweet spot according to the host.

Total damage was 2500 including the drinks but I managed to accomplish what I wanted. I got pampered into a shot with zero effort and my legs were feeling much better than before after the massage.

Side note: I saw a mother sitting on the sidewalk with her baby daughter (probably between 1 and 2 years old) and the kid was passing out from the heat and looked like her head is covered in a pool of sweat. In the end, due to W. S. Being closed for so long and currently construction at the corner of Pattaya Tai and 2nd Road, this is where the Temple is located. Many Temples like this throughout Thailand open their area at least once a year to generate money to fund their operation or project the temple needs. This particular Temple with its location does it more often than many since W. S. And the country closed they haven't offer their property for festivals or food markets.

So until Pattaya is back to pre-covid I don't see this happening.
