At times I make myself the same question but in terms of laidback lifestyle, food, culture and quite beaches its still worth it for me, lets face it a legit masage for 300 baht is a fine example. Then if one looks at the sex, nightlife, girls and booze package on a daily basis, no its no longer value for money. From today, June 9th, cannabis and hemp plantations will be legalized in Thailand as well as the decriminalization of the plants and the release of previous cannabis-related criminals. The Pattaya News / TPN Media would like to summarize the journey of the legalization at the beginning of the year.

In February 2022, the Royal Gazette announced the delisting of parts of cannabis and hemp that contained less than 0. 2% of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) from the Category 5 list of narcotics, putting in effect in June. This is to grant home-grown cannabis and hemp for medical and health purposes at the household level and for commercial purposes to produce goods and products to stimulate the domestic economy and tourism.

According to FDA Deputy Secretary-General Withit Saritsadeechaikul, importing cannabis seeds, hemp, and other parts of the plant, such as inflorescences, leaves, branches, and stalks, are also strongly illegal under the Plant Breeding Act be. E. 2518 and the Plant Quarantine Act be. E. 2507.

In short, the law only allows most parts of the plants that contain low THC to be legalized for home cultivation from today onwards. The extractions that contain high percentages of THC and the plant imports are still listed in the narcotics act and are illegal.

Those who wish to plant them at home must register via the "Plook Ganja" application or the website http://plookganja.fda.moph.go.th under three quick steps: Register with personal information, fill in planters' objectives, and receive electronic registration documents.

Not only the plant legalization, but thousands of prisoners on cannabis abuse convictions are also to be released on Thursday after the delisting law becomes effective, Justice Court spokesperson Sorawit Limparangsee previously stated.

Money seized from the offenders under the anti-money laundering law will also be returned to its owners and tonnes of seized cannabis awaiting destruction can be claimed by the owners.

As of this morning, the FDA announced that the "Plook Ganja" application has been downloaded more than 50,000 times and the home cultivations have been registered under more than 100,000 names on its first launching day.

Recreational use of marijuana with high THC for smoking remains illegal.

RS.For the most part, I agree. There are a few hidden gems, IMO.

1. Try to get Line contact in the bar to avoid barfining. Take them to a club after their bar closes. This usually means host (Karaoke) bars or tomboy bars. These bars are usually open 3-4 hours past the gogo bars. It provides a chance to get to know the girl better and build chemistry. It's like dating. Then, the LT fee can be negotiated down to about 2000-2500.

2. Go to some Thai bars (e. G. FIN, Mouth Sei, Yes Pattaya, Club 808, Insomnia / iBar, MYST, Area 39). Most are freelancers or FS massage girls and ST 1500, LT 2000-2500. There are also lots of gogo bar girls that will barfine themselves and hang out at these bars (sometimes because they're bored of the gogo bar, sometimes to hang out with friends).

I took 2 trips each to both Brazil and Colombia (plus one to DR) during the pandemic and aside from Santa Fe in Bogota (which most gringo are too scared to even go to), Vila Mimosa in Rio (again, very scary for gringos), or Lleras Park (very small) there is no dedicated Red Light District in any of those locations, the options are dispersed, often hidden to the public, or otherwise intimidating or confusing to the causal monger (Centro in Medellin). Basic Spanish and Portuguese are necessary in both locations, and although certainly you can get laid- it is much more of a challenge- particularly if you are looking for uncovered action. These challenges necessitate the need of support and logistics that a forum provides and you will see that in that the MDE thread has among the most posts on this entire site. Demand for intel matches supply of intel.

Thailand has opened up again since May 1 (or thereabouts). All you need is a Thailand Pass and a health insurance, if you're fully vaccinated. The Thai Cabinet has agreed to temporarily exempt the use of immigration forms "Tor Mor 6" for foreigners entering and departing from Thailand at all international airports to reduce congestion at Immigration checkpoints.

Government spokesperson Traisulee Traisornkul said on Tuesday, June 14th, that the exemption aimed to facilitate foreign travelers and reduce the congestion at the airports as the number of incoming tourists has increased significantly after the country reopening.

Foreigners traveling by land and sea are still required to fill out the forms because the arrivals are not significantly increasing as by air. The immigration forms are still practical in terms of crime prevention and tracking. Without the form, the physical information of incoming tourists entering that country will be collected via biometrics and their tourism information / destinations will be collected from the tour operators and airlines.

Despite the temporary exemption, the health screenings according to preventive measures against the spread of Covid-19 Coronavirus still has to be conducted, according to the deputy spokesperson.

As of press time, the unpopular but simplified Thailand Pass program also remains.

The Center for Covid-19 Situation (CCSA) has reportedly given the green light to restore nationwide green zones, cancel Thailand Pass, ease the mask mandate in open areas, and extend legal closing hours for nightlife outlets to 2 AM.

Essentially, today's measures bring to an end over two years of Covid-19 restrictions and rules, except for the emergency decree and some masking recommendations.

A source at the regular CCSA meeting today, June 17th, 2022, led by the director PM Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha reports that the CCSA has consented to reclassify the entire nation's color-zoning into what they call green zones (surveillance). All Pilot Tourist Areas will be lifted as well. These changes will go into effect as soon as the official legal order in the Royal Gazette is released, and is expected to legally take effect on July 1st, 2022.

Moreover, the CCSA has also decided to move the legal closing hours for nightlife outlets from midnight to pre-pandemic hours or around 2 AM though the mask mandate is still "recommended" in crowded spaces but is relaxed in open / outdoor spaces. However, an exact date for easing of the mask mandate has NOT been announced and is NOT set in stone as July 1st, notes the CCSA, and will depend on the upcoming Royal Gazette order.

The transportation of migrant workers has also been reverted back to normal.

A source also reports that normal temperature checkpoints at each facility have been given the go-ahead to be removed as well except in certain facilities at risk of transmission. A large gathering of more than 2,000 participants will need permission from the Provincial Communicable Disease Committee before taking place.

I'm here in Pattaya for one week now. The usual asking price of the girls in TF is 1500 for ST, sometimes 1200 or 1300. So I suppose it's very well possible to negotiate 1000 or 1200. - Bangkok was somewhat alive, many places still closed but you can find what you're looking for. Patpong area completely dead except maybe 2-3 agogos (King's Castle the largest). Nana Plaza ground floor open and alive, upper floors partially closed. Soi Cowboy kinda depressing, many places closed, some opened with no dancing. Most places closed early or at least pretented to.

- Pattaya seemed more alive but the action moved towards LK Metro and the neighboring street, Walking Street and especially the western (Arab / Russian / whatever) section was a dead town, not a single place open, everything shut down and for sale or for rent (including 7/11's and restaurants. It was / it that bad).

- Patpong / Phuket was surprisingly very crowded, very lively and everything was opened. However out of these three places, I liked it the least, I felt like I arrived in a stupid tourist trap and everyone is trying to scam me and rip me off, from the taxi drivers, to ping pong show promoters to the girls in agogos themselves.

Now the situation should only get better. ThaiPass and arrival conditions cancelled, opening times restrictions removed, more tourists arriving (a lot of Indians for some reason). I expect things should get very wild soon, maybe not now in rainy season but latest in November or December.

The "go with the flow" is a valid technique, and actually it's one I do use occasionally- but only if the ST rate discussed is on the low side (1000 baht). I just returned from 10 days in Thailand (Pattaya and Bangkok) during which I ventured into the BBFS+CIP realm for the first time within the hobbying context. I am mid-40's, white, average looking, and in good shape. For the benefit of the board, here are my results:

Results - 9 girls total: 7 BBFS (78% success rate); 5 BBFS+CIP (56% success rate); 2 Condom (22% objection rate).

The 9 girls were fairly even distributed across venues:

4 from gogos: all allowed BBFS+CIP.

2 from Soi Pothole: 1 BBFS+CIP; 1 BBFS only.

Scenario 2 - Includes every other situation including Thai Friendly and those where I have more time or choice. My approach = gain BBFS agreement upfront or move on.

I know this may seem like common sense and overly simplistic, but based on personal experience and some experimentation I now feel confident that this is the optimum strategy for me.

Health - A word on safe sex for those who may be concerned. While I don't like to use a condom, I do protect myself by taking PReP and Acylovir to reduce the chances of contracting HIV and herpes respectively. I also carry antibiotics for bacterial infections. Despite this, there are obviously still risks which I accept and each should understand and consider personally.

Summary - In summary, based on my experience I can validate that BBFS is widely available in Pattaya and the majority of girls who agree to BBFS will also agree to CIP. This a much higher rate than I expected so am quite happy to have discovered this little nugget. My results are obviously anecdotal so YMMV as always. I'd be curious to know what others have experienced.

Everything I've read about Acyclovir online has stated it's the infected person that takes it to prevent transmission to an uninfected person. Is Acyclovir an effective preventative against herpes if it's just the uninfected person taking it and the infected person is not?

Regarding Acyclovir, you are right, to my knowledge it is not indicated as an approved prophylaxis for herpes. However, through conversations with an infectious disease doctor I understand that 1200 MG of Acyclovir a day (400 MG tablet taken three times a day every 8 hours) should provide reasonable protection against herpes infection. And based on how I understand the virus replicates, this also makes logical sense to me. I don't assume it provides 100% protection but I have adopted this regime to provide some safeguard while hobbying. Again, this is my own personal decision; I am not advocating it for anyone else.

With BBFS, the risk of HIV is there, but I really believe it to be much more significant if you are engaging in receptive anal play (as in from a ladyboy or other man). Statistically you would need to have sex with thousands of providers and I am nowhere near that number.
