Pattaya was jammed again last night, and the Bolt situation was made worse by a police crackdown on Bolt drivers who don't have taxi licenses. So, I didn't go out last night, I arranged for ladies to come to me instead.
The mass numbers of tourists in Pattaya is only going to get worse in December, so I will be spending much of the month abroad, starting December 1. It's becoming more common to find girls that can't be barfined in Pattaya. I call them "coyotes", since they are there as eye candy to draw in customers, but the term has other uses in Pattaya.
There have always been drinks only ladies in Pattaya, but now it is widespread. It is possible that bar owners are encouraging this to generate more revenue from drinks, since drink money generated when a lady goes with a customer is zero.

There are many posters here with many different expectations from this site. Not everyone's expectations are met, so there is naturally some disappointment expressed here.
For example, some participants here want explicit descriptions, ie they want to know what "Nong" does, how much she charges, and where she works. Hotels may have their policies, but apartments and condos, I doubt.There are some apartments whether in town or out like the Darkside that have policies I've not seen a place rented generally to a foreigner tell them they can't bring in a girl. I've found in or out of town if there is a policy it normally is imposed on the Thai lady because some owners don't want their place to be used as an ST or LT. I've gotten away at times since I look like one of them they think I'm their father? The ones in a town like in the Baukhao area side Soi, I've never been by a freelancer I couldn't. In fact, it is kind of a game if they are telling me the truth they live alone go to their place I rather they have the money than a ST room place.
For Condos, it depends on the builder management team largely the bigger the harder it is to monitor. Many terms of ownership and renting are that you can't! But unless you create a lot of noise for your neighbor it normally isn't going to be reported. I wouldn't if one was living next to my unit 555, but I had a close relative that had a crackhead ladyboy that rented next door after failing to get management to step in and address the problem it was handle not so pretty for the ladyboy, and when that was done he had got his team of lawyers sued the complex and removed the entire management staff.
Many Condos the language is pretty cleared but I've found in town there are lots of them not following the purchased rules.

Also, many bars have opened in a compressed timeline in recent months, and they all want lots of girls.
After High Season, bars will reduce hiring, so things will go back to normal. And not so many new bars will open.
So, in a few months, it will be hard for ladies to find work at a decent salary.

Before I post the final day of my diary tomorrow, I'm posting day 15 because I realise I forgot to post it. Although it's out of order, it doesn't make a big difference and hopefully there's some useful information in there for someone.
Day 15: school tomorrow

I think some pretty serious realization sets in the last 20 pages. I wasn't so wrong with being grumpy. But what is giving me major second thoughts now is reviewing the last 20 pages, and also have been checking out some long term Pattaya guru on YouTube "everything Pattaya" channel.
As tough as it might be, the bitter realization that everyone seems to agree is that girls are lazy. It is precisely what I felt when walking down Soi 6 every single time. They are lazy as fuck and completely disinterested, choosy, unwelcoming. Got to say, Sir Lancelot is giving some inspiring reports. Maybe I should stay after all to figure this out. I felt homesick to my Brazil and really looking forward to coming back. But then, I did have a nice session at Excite Club today. I will not put up with a lot horse shit from the girls or their respective establishments. As you point out there are still a lot of different ways to find "good" girls in Pat besides Go Go's and Soi 6. The issue for me is that I like Go Go's. 555. Pin Up, for example, pre covid was a fucking great bar. I understand that currently it is still very popular and crowded every night despite their drink policy and expensive barfines. I now make it a routine that for late lunch and dinner I have no beer, and I confine the beer drinking to the GoGo bars. The reason: the draught beer for 65 or 75 bucks is an OK price, no need for bottled beer and about the same amount, and then the show is free. Here is another report to stop the trash talk on Pattaya from guys that are not even on the ground.
Each time I went in soi6 was around 19 o'clock and sometimes around 21.
That time it was around 19 on a Thursday evening, not the busiest night (Saturday nights seemed the busiest from what I've seen).
When I past that shop, that girl had a bit of my attention because she had a distinctive look compared to most other girls on the soi. It looked to me that she had some Chinese features, plus I could tell she had put some work in her hairstyle to look different (black hairs not as long as other girls, hairs arriving just upper her shoulders).
I didn't saw anything in the end of the soi so I came back and went straight to her.
She looked completely bored, didn't even looked at me and was probably in her own thoughts at that time.

This forum does have a built-in very effective search tool. If you don't know how to use, there is a search tutorial in the Reports of Distinction thread. Using keyword string "Honey 2" brings up a number of pertinent hits. And for those who'd say its ancient history, well, any historian will tell you you can learn a lot from ancient history. Servers might change, but most places maintain the same scheme, and it can certainly teach you lessons learned.
Bar fine appears to be sometimes necessary.
This is good, suggests I buy myself 3 more hours of sleep hugging a girl for 2000 baht bar fine extra, and get a girl who sparks my interest. Avoiding a bar fine seems to me false economy. You've come all the way here, it's your TIME (once the fates cut your thread, that's it), so why save a bar fine expense and miss out on someone who you'd enjoy? Different if you're a resident, but a visitor ... For myself, I'd always decide what her experience was worth TO ME, and if I missed the chance and never got another with her, how much would I regret it. Most, not a lot, but there are a few....

Nobody cares what these kind of guys say or do. The guy with his Thai boyfriends seems to be coming just to promote his friend's bars, almost all his posts are complete BS.
I am not promoting any bars. When posters here ask where to go (apart from Walking Street), I tell them to walk down Soi 6, or go to Soi Buakhow, or Soi Chayapoon.
It happens that I pull most of my ladies from Maggie Mays, but that's just force of habit.
The owner of Maggie Mays has other bars, but I rarely go to them.

I am out of Pattaya for a few days more, but reports from the ladies indicate loads of customers now, economy be damned.I can confirm, it is getting quite crowded. On the fireworks weekend the crowds were massive, but it was mostly Thai people coming with cars and crowding the parking of my hotel (for example) and the streets were all clogged up (I dunno why anyone would move by car in Pattaya when they could walk). But now it is more those tourists coming with their roller bags in vans and taxis and song taeows. Sometimes I panic, thinking oh my, the're going to be queues in front of all the girls that I might like. But while it is a fast market, I think the priming of the pump here finally will also move more providers and then have thinly staffed bars be able to ramp up, and there are still a number of shuttered bars that could open up again. So overall I see this infusion of crowds might actually reset and stimulate the type of economy we value here.
I developed a case of onitis with one of my girls in an LK Metro gogo where I have my evening beer, who I have not managed to lock eyes with. I am in Ethiopia at the moment, with a Thai lady. She is clingy and insatiable.
She had to give up some of her customers to make this trip, and when we return tomorrow, she will hit the ground running.

If you check my old posts, you will see that I used to frequent Annie Bar on Soi Chaiyapoon, which is an open bar. I am still in contact with ladies who have since moved on to other bars.
In fact, I have been coming to Pattaya for about 20 years, so my experience didn't start with Covid. And you have already forgotten my bargirlfriend who runs a gogo agency.
The reality is that you don't need years of experience to enjoy Pattaya, a newbie can walk down Soi 6 and have a great time.
I stayed in Travelogue Soi15 behind Avenue. Walkable distance to Soi Boomerang and Soi Bukawo Tree Town and Soi Pothole.
My mode of operation planned was getting ladies from TF and visiting Gentlemans clubs in Jomtien and Soi Bukawo. Plenty of ladies responded from TF but many of them are towards ST and asking 1500 at an average. Some are ready for LT at 2500 at an average. But why going behind TF as ocean of ladies walking around Pattaya streets and hanging in bars. My query.
Explored Passion club and great atmosphere and friendly girls. Saturday is the wet T shirt day. Then went to Kit Kat club and met a young girl fro there. She agreed to join me in the night for LT after her work agreed for 2 K.
In the night I walked through Soi Boomerang, Tree Town and Pothole.
At 12.30 night my girl from Kit kat came and I had a great night till next day 10 in the morning.

Here's a pro tip for newbies:
Nothing makes the ladies more bored than hearing obscure 70's British music.I would guess sitting next to a 70 years old Brit customer makes them more bored.
- Observations from the past 4 nights. Note things might change since peak high season is approaching.
- BB is always spot on. Out of the 15 go-gos I've been to, Pin Up has the best overall quality. Palace probably is second. Bacarra wasn't that good. Need to go to XS. Didn't go to Sensations. Never liked that bar. Need to give Tantra an honorable mention. Last night, saw one girl that might be one of the top girls in Pattaya.
- Does the girls at Pin Up change tag numbers? The top girl, IMO, was 4 something a few days ago. Last night she was 242. Don't like to barfine those type of girls. I'm too much of a pessimist; don't want to spend all that money to find out she's a dud.
- Walking Street isn't back to normal. Many bars are still closed. At 8 pm, numerous bars were just opening up. Late compared to pre-pandemic. Some of my favorite bars for looking at quality naked girls are closed on walking street. You still have the raunchy bars (Windmill and bar above Dollhouse) still open with naked girls, but the girls are on the ugly side. The raunchy bar across Dollhouse is closed.
- The best raunchy go-gos bar is probably Kinks (upstairs) at LK Metro. Packed with older, "not too ugly", naked girls. It's the customers that makes it raunchy. For a lady's drink, they DAT and fondle. But it's more packed than before. It seems LK Metro has fully recovered. No empty units.
- Soi 6 hasn't fully recovered. Numerous units are still closed. At 2 pm, some bars were just starting to open up. Not like before.
Second Day.
Visited Mikes shopping mall and Central festival and it felt like a ghost place. Went to one cannabis coffee shop and the partner is my TF friend. 150 Bath sativum smoked sitting in the shop and since she was celebrating her birthday agreed to join me next day after her work. She speak better English. After a foot massage and pedicure went to Maggie May and as everybody said it's great Gentlemans bar to hang around. Came to Soi Boomerang and get into Club Fate. Very friendly club and I saw more than 10 ladies around. Spent with a cute girl 'Smile' for some time. Decided to take her to the room next day. He he. Moved to Heaven above, big one and it was 8 in the evening and the club is only partly filled with Gentlemans but packed with ladies, more than 30. Go to Thai places such as the no name chicken place on Buakhao across from LK Metro. 50 baht. Or the place on the corner of 3rd Rd and Pattaya Klang. Or the food court on the corner of Pattaya Klang and Soi 16.
- XS go-go is pretty good. Talent is similar to Pin Up. But it is way larger. XS might be my favorite bar to watch topless girls.
- Barfines are complicated. You have short time, long time, at least 3 different types of girls, before 11 pm, after 1 am. Starting at 1000. Saw 2500. Not sure if it went higher or lower.

The occupation of the bars is spotty.
Twice now I have gone into Slutz and it's always been full, no seat available. Same size as the others, not sure what the special draw is.
Conversely I have been in RC (Rest and Chill), 2 down from Escape which advertises with a big billboard on TreeTown corner. That RC place at 1 am, I was the only customer I could see, perhaps one or two more were hiding in some corner, not sure. 4 girls on the stage topless. None particular stunners, but I picked one who was cute enough and seemed like we'd get alone and so I took her. Barfined at 1 am, and the barfine was 1 k, so not as crazy as the other gogos. LT for 5 k is pretty standard now it seems. Same quote I get from everyone in the gogos. Not sure it was worth it. I hate it when they want to leave early at 6 am or so.

- I was in that bar (VV something), next to XS. It's a new bar. Has potential. A guy sitting next to me asked how much for the girl he was with. The other lady said 4 thousand short time, 2 thousand barfine. Did I hear that right? Sometimes the locals use the incorrect English words. Geez, now I can't afford to barfine 2 or 3 go-go girls at one time.
- The Silver Star go-gos on Soi 7 and 8 are no more. Too bad. I liked that Silver Star on Soi 8. It was very, very raunchy. I had a lot of good times there.

For many years, even during High Season, many bars have few customers. It's Darwin in action, lots of people open bars without much of an idea how to attract customers, and those bars close down. But then, someone else will open a similar bar in the same place. And some bar owners open bars to keep their special ladies employed, they don't mind losing a little money.
Its always been that way, and always will.

It's not bad in daytime, but getting from Jomtien to Pattaya at night is no fun. I saw lots of people walking down Thappraya Road last night, as the baht buses were mostly full.
I eventually got a Bolt to go to Soi Chayapoon, went to a bar bought drinks, got hammered, and barfined a lady. I don't remember much of what happened in the hotel, except that we both passed out around 10 pm, and she woke up in a fright at 3 in the morning, because her Thai boyfriend got off work at 2, and she was sleeping with a customer.

And for the ones that I've misjudged, that negative experience DOES serve a purpose: NOW I KNOW what HER experience is with ME. And I evaluate if I missed any telltale signs ... Weak spot? Here is the current ground reality of Pattaya -.

2. Prices recent guys posted are anything but high for cute young girls, the standard 1,000 baht.There are indeed ladies available in Pattaya, plenty of them. The only issues are that the best ones are usually busy during High Season, and prices are higher.
Anyone who comes to Pattaya now will do fine, just maybe spend a couple of hundred dollars more than normal.
